Frightmove!

We had such a blast playing our newest game, Frightmove*, on stream with our special guest, Helen!

Frightmove is a fun, quick social game about trying to buy/sell/devalue a haunted manor house. One player is the Househunter - they frame the scenes by describing a different room of the house each round - while the other players take the role of the Estate Agent - trying to sell the house - and the Haunting - trying to scare the Househunter away. There's a lot of back-and-forth silliness and (if you use the random tables to generate room features) the house gets worse the more you explore it.

Frightmove is up on our Patreon (along with loads of other great games/stuff), but you can also get the basics from our playthrough.

*For our international friends, Rightmove is a popular property website like Zoopla or Zillow in the UK. It's important to me that you understand that Frightmove is a really good name for this game - S.

Hi Nay In London 🇬🇧

Got to meet up with some awesome people some of you might recognise, either from Hi Nay, or from podcasting in general!

The lovely Helen Gould from Rusty Quill, who you might know from Enthusigasm, as well as other roles in other titles such as Magnus Archives and Stellar Firma.

We got along when I hosted Podbean's Storytelling Podcast Week and met up last year, and I just wanted to say hi while I was in town.

The fantastic Chris, aka TheLonePonderer, a game Streamer and Youtuber who so kindly voiced our creepy yet tragic serial killer from the St. Patrick's Case episodes!

And the wonderful Tom Pilcher (who's basically family) who voices our gentle voiced (yet black-hearted) Elder, the right hand man, Richard Henry. He's smiling because I told him what happens to his character in the near future😂

It was so nice seeing everyone, given how far flung the Hi Nay cast really is.

Listen, I just have so much love for Lowri Ann Davies. I think I first saw/heard her during RQGG, and she just seemed so sweet and fun! And I wanted to know more about her. And every single one-shot she's been in has been such a delight to listen to. And now she's in Chapter and Multiverse, and I just love her so much. She's such a genuinely lovely person and deserves all the good things. Also, I love that Helen had a whole episode of Enthusigasm just so she could be like: Listen. I've been sitting in the background and I have Thoughts. It was so much fun. She has officially cemented herself as The Best Rusty Quiller.
