Leviathan Redesign (My Style)

Just like Belphegor, I don't really satisfied with Leviathan's appearance in Mastermind. So, I decided to redesign them by fusing my fanmade and canon version.

While they still have two heads, I made The Malevolent Envy head as male and the Benign Envy as female (Besides referencing the Book of Enoch about Male and Female Leviathan, this was based on how most fan made version of Hellaverse Leviathan being male, including mine) which made them hemaphrodite. Leviathan used They/Them pronouns due to having both female and male heads, and often uses "We" instead of "I" when refers to themselves.

The male head acts like a responsible big brother, while the female head acts like a carefree but stubborn little sister, both of them have white markings that resemble masks (since their app has face that resemble theater masks and I'm not getting rid of the phanton of the opera mask features that I have in my old fanmade Levi). Despite having two heads, they were often refers as "Levi", and they often argue to one another, kinda like Stereo Monovici from Space Goofs.

I don't really like their canon outfit, so I made them into an elegant lolita suits (I blame those Japanese lolita styled outfit that I found on Pinterest). Besides from making other people jealous of their appearance, Leviathan's outfit was supposed to resembles Lucifer's outfit (just like Mammon's Loo Loo Land) and they were a bot jealous of him, but need to restraint their power knowing Luci is a fallen angel and more powerful than them. Leviathan has a love and hate relationship with Mammon, with the male head hating Mammon but the female head likes him.

They know when someone is jealous and they can conjures their victim or the person with jealous with illusions, like Rolando. This makes them not only fulfilling the conjoined twins from circus' freakshow role, but also illusionist and hypnotist.

Leviathan and Belphegor were pretty close, like Ozzie and Bee, because Envy Ring is closer to Sloth Ring and the "in between" Sins (Not as mean as Mammon but no too nice like Beelzebub, though in her case, it's more of a having fun till you can't get enough). And also I headcanon them to know the Von Eldritch family (if they appear in Hazbin Hotel).

So the latest episode of Helluva Boss was really...not good.

It had some fine aspects. I didn't mind the song as much (at least from how it sounds, it's fine) the plot is interesting on paper, meeting Satan was kinda cool (though I'll get to how I actually feel about him later), Andrealphus was animated really energetically, it gave some room to have Stolas own up to his shit, the moments of care between Blitzø and Loona were kinda sweet.

But overall, it was just incredibly undercooked. I wanna start with the apparent fatphobia which was probably more prevalent in this episode than ever. We see Mammon literally stuff his face with food as all the skinny (sympathetic) sins watch with disgusted faces.

Even the sin of gluttony looks disturbed, because drinking, partying and eating excessively is apparently only cool when you're not fat (even though she has no reason to care). Also, it's truly incredible, how one of the few characters that is explicitly named as not wanting to be fucked by anyone is also the only prevalent fat character there is in HB. And the question is also, why that was apparently the only thing Bee had to rub in Mammon's face, when he was confirmed to be Asexual and has never seemed to care about that stuff. It sometimes seems like the only Insults Viv's characters can come up with are: "You're just mad I'm hotter than you" or "You're just mad, people don't want to fuck you". Really hurtful guys, really savage.

Moving on to Satan, he was hugely awaited and his debut just kinda eh. He has to share his debut episode with all of the other sins (which also includes the two sins we were anticipating too) as well as the awaited character of Vasago, another appearance of Striker, more development for Andrealphus, a huge turn for the Stolitz relationship and big emotional moments, which really overshadowed him, to the point he barely left an impact (at least to me).

When we look at the Asmodeus, Beelzebub and Mammon debut, while there were definitely other important moments that didn't necessarily revolve around the sin (esp for Asmodeus), there was still the feeling of some grand reveal. That just wasn't there for Satan. And since Leviathan and Behemoth were also just dropped in this episode pretty unceremoniously, I don't have high hopes for their official debut.

Satan didn't even get a Musical number or something to show his business and how he embodies the sin of wrath. Asmodeus had a song to explain his Sex club and the episode took place there, Beelzebub had a song as well and the whole episode showed the parties she was throwing and while Mammon didn't get a song, the episode in general centred completely around his business and competition. Satan was just kinda there. He is a judge apparently for whatever reason, how that relates to his wrath, I have no idea. Unless you want to say that he uses the trials to take his anger out on the subjects by punishing them, but he also has an anger management coach...why? Just to have a new ship between boss and employee to push? (Which would be the more cynical reading as opposed to something Viv didn't really think through or care to explain enough).

So Satan wasn't that good and neither was the revelation that HB has no serious main antagonist. This show can't have smart villains, it seems like it's just allergic to that. Fizzarolli and Asmodeus are good guys now, Verosika is not a serious antagonist/villain, Barbie has done nothing that would warrant her becoming a new main antagonist, the Agents of D.H.O.R.K are literally named after being unserious and stupid and they and the CHERUBs have not been shown to be intimidating or anything. And Crimson doesn't feel as important, since he has no real personal gripes with Blitzø or Stolas (who are pretty much the main characters now).

Striker is so stupid now that he can't even remember two lines of dialogue and who is mostly just a henchman for other, bigger villains. Stella has been consistently portrayed as stupid, not even remembering to mention probably the most important fact that could help her and her brother win their case.

Then there's Andrealphus, who was probably supposed to come across as the true mastermind (get it?), but he is also not really smart at all. What was his plan with the trial? Why wouldn't he involve Stolas in the trial if the whole point was, that he finally has something that he can use against him? Andrealphus was happy about the illegal stuff Stolas has been doing because he can actually report him to the authorities now and can take his part. So it makes no sense that he would make Blitzø seem guilty in the trial, cause that would just end in Stolas being seen as innocent. If the trial had worked out the way Andrealphus had planned, then Blitzø would have been executed and everyone would assume that Stolas is a victim. Wouldn't that go against everything Andrealphus wants? It would have been smarter for Stella and him to gather genuine proof of the illegal activities Stolas was assisting with and then they could tell the truth in the trial, which would lead to Stolas being found out and Andrealphus being able to get a deal as compensation.

The fact that Stolas showed up saved their whole plan, but it couldn't have been planned like this because Stolas showing up only happened because A: Stolas was conveniently watching TV and saw the trial happen; and because B: Stolas actually decided to show up at all. Two things that Andrealphus could have never predicted precisely, as to put them into his plan.

So Andrealphus' unfinished plan that doesn't make sense leads us well into discussing Stolas, which seems almost unavoidable when talking about any new HB episode. First off, the scene between Stella and Octavia was probably put there to portray Stella as a bad mother, but it didn't really succeed. The show needs to understand that there's a difference between being a bad partner and a bad parent. It isn't uncommon for people to be totally nice to their partner or child, friends or coworkers and be absolutely nasty to someone else in their life. Unless they show Stella being actively neglectful or abusive towards Octavia (as they have with Stolas), there's no reason to assume she's a bad parent. Especially since Stolas still allows Octavia to visit her, which you'd assume he wouldn't do if he was the good parent and she was super abusive or didn't care about her daughter at all. Also, Stolas is just fine with dying in this episode to save the Imp who still realistically doesn't owe him affection after his sacrifice. And all of this without even thinking about how Octavia would be left in Stella's complete custody, which would surely not be the responsible thing to do, if she was truly as abusive to Octavia as the fandom tries to portray her.

And in the end Stolas is finally the powerless, helpless victim that he's been pushed as. How nice. He confessed to some of the stuff he put on Blitzø, but it's done in a way, where it's now expected of Blitzø to immediately forgive him and take care of him. He can't have time to heal and make the decision to help Stolas, Stolas needs him now! Can't he go to some of the people that would be much more equipped to take care of him? Why not Asmodeus and Fizz? They don't seem to have a problem with him and they even have connections to Blitzø, so the two could still keep in touch while sorting out some stuff on their own. Why not some of the goeita that seemed to feel good towards him? Vasago could take him in and we could have him involved in the plot like that.

But nooo, Blitzi has to help him, he's his soulmate and just has to forgive him now! Stolas told the truth so now everything is fineee!! I can't be the only one who notices that Blitzø always has to deal with the stuff he causes in brutal ways, like being hated by his best friend for a long time, losing contact to his sister, having a whole party of people who lavish in their hatred for him, getting constant reminders of everything he does wrong and how much of a broken person he is.

And then Stolas has to face his consequences for once (in a way that isn't even as brutal as it could've been) and now he immediately has to be cuddled and coddled and everything has to be forgiven. I don't think the constant demeaning of Blitzø and the coercion will be brought to focus. Because everything is fine now and anyone who complains is just kicking someone while they're down I guess. Stolas even gets a goodnight kiss. A great way to forget about how Blitzø was nearly almost actually killed and can't continue his business in the same way now. And it's not as if Stolas bathed and tucked him in after that happened. How nice.

Alright so Cruella is definitely!! in total control here. She's the Boss. The Dom. The Asmodeus to yours' and James' Fizz, to you Helluva Boss fans.

The Mommy of your little 'family', basically.

Then James is her 'Golden Boy'/naughty boy, and you are their sweet, sweet pet. So like, James is a little bit higher up in the procession of power then you, but not by much.

Often its her directing the two of you equally, but occasionally she'll ask James what he thinks they should do with you, or leave you two to 'play on your own'- and she makes it clear that Jamesy-Wamesy is in charge, while she's away.

"Sweetheart stay with darling Jamesey-poo, mommy has some work to do." - Cruella, whenever she has to go do some Evilness.

When you're cold its really a toss-up; Cruella may actually give you some furs to wear (This version of her really likes the idea of branding you~ ) or you might get James' jacket. His prince jacket! Ahh <3

Cruella may have you dressing like James eventually. She thinks its cute if her two playthings have a uniform.

If you'll remember, James left his old flame Jack to die at the top of the beanstalk, totally heartless- but let me tell you, Cruella has that man so whipped he wouldn't even think about doing that to her unless there was a HUGE pay out. You, he may consider abandoning. But one nasty look from her and he'll save your sweet ass like the prince he was groomed to be. He does love you (As much as he and Cruella can love at least), its just that (In the words of his Wiki Page) he's inherited 'King Georges lack of empathy and ruthless personality'.

You and James have an odd relationship where you kinda argue a lot, when you're not being their obedient 'pet'. You're very snarky with each other and it makes Mommy Cruella roll her eyes- but she loves it. She loves being the 'favourite'.

Cruella, to David: Jimmy has always resented you for being the one that those horrible parents of yours kept... You: ... ehhh, I don't think he's that deep actually. I think he's just sore he had the best sword lessons in the enchanted forest and still got killed by a Behemoth. Cruella: Darling- You: ... and also David got a castle. And people like him. and I don't know how identical they are under the clothes but I bet his dick is bigger, too, honestly. Cruella: 🙄 Darling... You: aM I wRoNg???? Cruella: *Sigh, turning back to David who's very understandably uncomfortable* My darlings are such a pain sometimes... anyway Sheriff Stubbles, where were we?

... You and James fight over Cruella often. Who gets to make her drinks, who gets to kiss her first, who gets to go down on her (You've been known to actually trip that asshole off the bed before and he has dragged you to the end of the bed and tied you to the bedpost before. All the while Cruella just sits there all pleased with herself~~ Maybe acting annoyed a little, but acting badly XD), etc.

That doesn't mean you two aren't very fond of each other, though. Its mostly fun, and foreplay (;

Cruella and James are both allowed to have 'fun' with other people (Whether that be actually going out and sleeping with others or just that- 'fun'. Like when Cruella pretended she though David was James and when James pretended to be David to kiss Snow), but let me be clear- you are not.

Cruella: Darling you're like our faithful Rottweiler, aren't you?? You would never hurt us like that. You could never be pleased by anyone else but us. Hm?

James: Yeah, and no one else would put up with you, either *eyeroll*

They don't actually do it very often though, mess around with others. They're both quite content with this relationship right here! Not that either of them would admit it.

2024 Discount Options

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to announce the Discount Options for 2024. Yes, you read that correctly. These are the discount options for the whole year. Now, one thing must be made clear: THESE OPTIONS WILL NOT BE OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND. Discounts will be offered in February, April, July, and October. If you have an eligible story signed up for any of those months, discounts will apply. If you do not, then the discounts do not apply. However, this same list will be used throughout the year; I will link you all back to it as a reminder during applicable months. As a result of this, I will be offering more options than usual. There 50 characters you can choose from, separated into a number of categories. In order to be eligible, the character must play a major role in the story, such as the main protagonist/antagonist, or a strong supporting role. Every given month the discounts apply, ONE commissioner may use ONE of these characters at a time; if you are looking at this during a discount month, and see a character listed as [TAKEN], that means they will not be eligible again till the next discount month opens. With so many characters to choose from, I am hoping there will be no lack of desirable options for at least one, if not both, of the sites I presently write comms for (FA and Tumblr). If you choose a character on the discount list, your commission fee will be brought down from $15 per thousand words to $10 per thousand words. It is the same discount that applies to my OCs, which does last all year round, so they will not be listed here. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, contact me via private message. I've seen the recent Helluva Boss post. It was about Stolas' dad-Paimon. Shit, I have a lot to say about it, but it's better to be short. I've come to terms with the fact that Stolas isn't a fallen angel, which was really nonsense because he even was "based" on a mythology character. The same name, appearance, even love for astronomy and herbs. But here I have a lot of questions to Vivzie. First, Paimon is an actual demon from the "Ars Goetia". He is a king who looks like a man with feminine face and a golden crown on his head. Okay. So, Vivienne decided to put another mythology character into her project. Okay. And here he is Stolas' dad, looking like another furry owl. What the fuck, Viv? I know, you don't give a fuck about mythology at all, always trying to offend demonologists, but that's just hackwork. What is the problem to make an original character with original name? He even has a boring as ass design...And this unnecessary pathos with transforming into several creatures like four-headed dragon or an elephant(idk, was that a Behemoth reference?) was just pathetic. Not surprised if this episode will be like "ooo Stolas' dad is so abusive and cruel let's feel sorry for this cute manipulative horny cheating asshole". Holy fucking shit.

so, I watched the hazbin/helluva boss pilots, mostly because the worst of the fuss has died down I think and I wanted to make my own judgement, and my reaction is overwhelmingly: eh, that was pretty good I guess. I’d watch more if it ever got picked up, but neither of them laid themselves out like regular episodes so I don’t 100% know how things would be handled from here on out. I think it’d be fun to keep them as shorts of 5 minutes or so, honestly. the longer running time (with hazbin especially) felt like they didn’t have the best focus. 

I don’t expect to be involved in the fandoms in any way, I mostly just wanted to see what a lot of others saw in it. I did like the designs (although some were admittedly cluttered at times) and the animation was best during the songs. there were a few good jokes, but I wasn’t ever laughing for more than a second or two.

also I looked up the top wordcount for a hazbin fic and it’s a 440k behemoth alastor/reader fic. that’s the equivalent of over 1750 pages in a regular book for a reader/character thing for a pilot where he had, at most, twelve minutes of screentime. that’s over 36.7k words per minute. what the fu-

Ah yes, the time has come at last to reveal the Prince of Wrath's steed! Behemoth is far larger than the average hell horse, every bit as ornery and ferocious as his owner and equally raring for a scrap. However, also like his owner, this beast has something of a hidden soft side (though go poking around for it at your own risk). Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel belong to Vivziepop. I only own Behemoth.
