Mildly unhinged D&D NPC idea
A formerly Chaotic Evil beholder, who was affected by a Helm Of Opposite Alignment (or maybe the Balance card from a Deck Of Many More Things) and thus became Lawful Good, eventually taking vows as a paladin of Ilmater under the Oath of Devotion
(This would be a hilarious deus-ex-machina/big damn heroes to drop on an unsuspecting party! XD Especially if one or more of them were also sworn to Ilmater, hehehehe :D)
(Not sure how a beholder would work as a player character -- could get a bit OP -- but that's an option too, for sufficiently creative players and DMs ^^)
(A beholder paladin would have to change 'Lay On Hands' to 'Lay On Eyestalk' -- not sure how the Smite spells would work, though, since beholders can't hold swords...)

hi it's um, ms. clit slurp back, I guess, why wasn't I more normal last time omg. I'm about to reread and catch up on Raspberry Girl and I'm pumped. Was inspired to come back and start to "count the ways" when I began rereading the first chapter - two parts in particular. The beginning section before he introduces our girl, and then his conversation with John fuck god help me John Priceineedhimineedhim and how dare you pick that name for his wife ma'am that's literally m-. These parts illustrate (beautifully and so sexily, your ideas and your writing are both so sumptuously depraved) three of the things I adore so much about this characterization of Simon.
First, while the healed and strongly nurturing aspect of Captain Simon is kind of like best case scenario for his character, in general to me Simon Riley has always seemed so dominant and confident (here dominant can mean like kink specific or just like a stereotypically masculine, loving boyfriend). I do still enjoy reading some interpretations of him where he's not dominant/is neutral, is submissive, lacks confidence, avoids relationships, flounders passively into them, lets his feelings of unworthiness push love away, etc especially when he grows a bit to be a good partner and I get a happy ending because I'm a little baby. Because I can understand how canonically he probably doesn't have much romantic experience, wouldn't feel equipped to helm the ship of a healthy relationship. BUT based on how he's portrayed in the games, I have trouble seeing how (even with the trauma he has) a man as competent, confident, accomplished, unflinching, brave I need to stop before I actually start choking on it yikes as he is would walk away from something he wanted just because it was challenging. I can't see him finding a soft pretty thing he wants so bad and just being resigned to not conquer that mountain. I can see the argument for him thinking he sucks too bad to have something loving and I do find that endearing, but as I was recently discussing with @lisenberry about Simon and John, in my interpretation of canon and according to my personal pussy and heart they aren't good enough men to deny themselves what they need like that aka "give what's needed, get it for yourself" barkBarkBARKBARKBARKKKK.
Second or kind of building off of that, while I again understand characterizations of Simon to the opposite, your interpretation of Captain Riley as a man who craves and enjoys control is again aligned with how I perceived his characterization in the game, and what I enjoy the most. I'm familiar with the fact that people who come from abusive backgrounds like his family; trauma and hardship like his life generally; oppressive environments like the military; stressful environments like SAS; and those who are in positions of power often seek release through submission. BUT the way Lieutenant Riley seems in the game, he reads much more like the people who experience the aforementioned and end up being driven to SEEK control and revel in it. So again both because it's consistent with my interpretation of canon and what my parts personally enjoy, I love how you explain that Simon is exactly that way, and that instead of shying away from or being ashamed of his controlling drive he learned to develop it into something pleasurable in his personal life (I also always see John like this). And that John and Simon see their romantic relationships and their role within them to be similar to their military roles, wherein their strength, competence, and control are essential to a successful mission.
Third and finally for now is that this story perfectly illustrates why IMO the best fics with these men are always a tiny bit dark in that certain power dynamics and kinks are un- or under-negotiated. Again I was chatting about this with @lisenberry lol. It just feels realistic to me, consistent with the kind of men they are - the kind that are used to making difficult decisions and doing what is necessary without handwringing about morality. To me they seem like the kind of people that don't really see their kinks as their own demarcated zones with bylaws - I think they see it as "natural" if that makes sense. Not that they don't value consent, just that... things are best, safest, happiest, when their sweet lil things let daddy handle it, yanno? It's connected both to their egos and to their desperate need to protect and possess - they truly think that if they are the most qualified to "lead, decide, control" then why would anything need to be negotiated? It scratches at the part of my gender essentialism kink I'm a feminist but my pussy and womb are NOT.
Ugh okay I'm insane, love your writing, sorry I'm cluttering your inbox with my unhinged hyperfixations - I've been wishing I could just stop typing the whole time I've been typing but Raspberry Girl is me and I am she, so I'm sure I'll be back same time next week.
This was such a treat to read, thank you so much, I soaked up every word like a little sunflower in the summer.
I definitely agree with you on a lot of things too! 100% you nailed the perspective on Simon (and John), I can't even elaborate on it better than you have. And you're right, the kink is/will be under negotiated, Simon knows what's best and he'll make sure it's provided. I think a good example of this (and the dubious morality you mentioned) is him taking her home after the bar when she was drunk. Clearly, she had no idea what was going on, she was safe and cared for and loved. Simon exercises control in all aspects of his life, and some of those aspects are more pleasurable than others (raspberry girl) but it's an essential part of his being now. I also don't see Simon as a switch or sub, because that's not my cup of tea, and that's okay! I know there are beautiful stories out there with different dynamics, which is one of the coolest things about fanfic, you can take your dolls and do whatever you want with them.
Anyway, I loved this. I love hearing people's thoughts and opinions and character breakdowns, this was lovely. Thank you for taking the time to type it all out and send it!

Can we have G1 Ophelia please? You can choose to write her with Ironhold or not(o^▽^o)
Ironhold is in this one!
Hop you enjoy!
G1 Ophelia (Ft. Ironhold)
SFW, Platonic, Familial, Hinted Romance, Cybertronian reader
G1
Ironhold was not the only child Megatron had.
The war lord had another child of his in the ranks.
Chief archivist of the Nemesis.
Soundwave’s right-hand Con on the Nemesis.
Megatron’s eldest daughter and potential heir to the Decepticon army.
Ophelia the minibot.
Many Cons often forgot that Ophelia was their leader’s daughter with how… different she was.
With Ironhold, things made sense.
They were tall, a great warrior, feared by the enemy, and loyal to the Decepticon cause.
Even their little soft spot for humans was overshadowed by their achievements.
Ophelia was the opposite of Lord Megatron.
She was small, a decent fighter, kind, soft spoken, and someone easily forgotten.
Her soft spot for humans as clear as day.
Spike and Mirage escaping from Decepticon base. They turn the corner and barrel into Ophelia who was carrying a stack of data pads. Ophelia rubs her helm in pain. Ophelia: “Do you mind watching where you’re going next time Mirage!” Mirage: “Umm… do I know you?” Ophelia: “You broke into the base last week. You heard my name.” Spike: “Umm…” Ophelia: “Spike, you were kidnapped yesterday. I introduced myself to you 7 times!” Spike: “… Rumble?” Ophelia blinks slowly before facepalming. Ophelia: “Next door to your right, you’ll find the exit.” Ophelia stands up with all the collected data pads. Mirage pulls out his blaster. Mirage: “Freeze! You’re not telling the Decepticons anything!” Ophelia sighs tiredly. Ophelia: “Its too early for this… they are not going to be happy about this…” Meanwhile outside the base with Ironhold. The ‘Sibling Sense’ starts tingling. Ironhold: “…Ophelia needs me!”
While Ophelia did not achieve battle victories for Megatron, her victories in the achieves and on deck medic made up for it.
Megatron was proud of both his children.
Both making so much progress for the Decepticon cause!
Is secretly happy that Ophelia stayed the same size.
He already had enough trouble with Ironhold being taller than him.
The War lord does not tolerate anyone disrespecting his children.
Last Con who tried to disrespect Ophelia got a beating of a lifetime from Megatron and Ironhold.
He did try to take Ophelia to train, but Ironhold never allowed them both to fight.
Megatron and Ironhold are in a room by themselves. Megatron: “Where are you hiding her this time?” Ironhold: “Not telling you.” Megatron: “Ironhold, she needs to understand how to fight. If you haven’t forgotten, we are at war! Would you rather have her depend on you to fight her battles?” Ironhold: “Yes! She shouldn’t even be near the fights! And I just know that your ‘training’ is aligned with bots of your stature.” Ironhold sighs a bit before crossing their arms. Ironhold: “Look me in the optics and tell me you weren’t planning on training her like you did with me?” Megatron: “Iron—” Ironhold: “Look at me and tell me you’ve taken her size into account!” There is a harsh silence. Ironhold: “… She isn’t like me or any of the bots you’ve trained before Father. One wrong move during training and it could be detrimental to her. Imagine the look of fear she’ll have when she sees you after hurting her?” They let out a tired vent and uncrosses their arms. Megatron is silent and places a servo on their shoulder. Megatron: “… All right, you win. I won’t teach her.” Ironhold blinks a bit in surprise. Megatron: “But only if she is to be accompanied by a trusted Decepticon at all times or—Ironhold! Are you even listening?!” Ironhold has a datapad out and is rapid messaging on it. Ironhold: “And done! Ophelia officially has a bodyguard!”
His name was Steve.
A Vechicon that had recently been transferred to Earth.
Ironhold trusted the Vehicon enough to leave him with Ophelia, not like she needed the protection.
They would be there to fight for her.
Ironhold loved their sister with all their spark, but they weren’t going to actually say it.
Instead opts to show ingthe love through acts and quality time.
Ophelia is walking with Megatron and Ironhold. More Ophelia speed walking trying to keep up with the others. Ironhold stops for a second before snatching Ophelia up from the back. Ophelia: “ACK! Ironhold! What have I told you about doing that out of no where!” Ironhold places her on their shoulders. Ironhold: “Not to.” Ophelia: “And what did you do?” Ironhold: “Did it and I’d do it again.” Ophelia playfully whacks their helm. Megatron smiles a bit at them. Later… Ophelia is in her habsuite when Ironhold barges in. Ophelia: “Iron—WOAH!” Ironhold flops down on her berth, narrowly missing the minibot. Ophelia: “Umm… ‘Hold? Are you okay?” Ironhold groans before scooting closer to Ophelia’s side and burying their face in her lap. Ophelia’s optics furrow in concern and gently starts subbing small circles on her younger siblings helm. Ophelia: “… You want to talk about it?” The shake in her lap gave her the answer. Ophelia sighs and does her best to hug Ironhold’s helm. Ophelia: “Stay as long as you want ‘Hold. I gottcha… I gottcha…”
Ophelia was often forgotten in her sibling’s shadow, but she is just happy that they are happy.
They deserve some happiness in this war.
The minibot is the first to know about Ironhold’s crush Rumble.
Does she tease them?
Yes, but it’s all lighthearted.
Does she play as Ironhold’s wingbot?
Also, yes!
Has she given Rumble the shovel talk because Megatron is too dense to know that his youngest has feelings?
Yes!
Rumble left that talk seeing a part of Megatron installed in the minibot.
Ironhold still doesn’t know that Ophelia did this and will stay that way.
Places bets with the other minibots and Soundwave on who was going to confess first.
Ophelia is happy Ironhold found someone to call their own.
Not that she would find someone someday…
Steve walks over to Ophelia. Steve: “Did you win the bet?” Ophelia: “Not exactly, everyone was off by a bit on the date.” Steve: “That sucks.” Ophelia sighs. Ophelia: “Welp, its over now. C’mon, I need some help in getting these crates to the Main room.” Steve: “Sure!” Both walk and chat as they head to get the crates. Soundwave and the cassettes in the distance. Soundwave: “Frenzy: Contact Rumble and Ironhold.” Frenzy: “For what Boss?” Soundwave: “Operation: Not Hamlet. Bets must be placed.”

Tryst (18+)
Cycmags Softcore basically
Stuck in the brig.
Servos chained above his head.
Listening to the sounds of Galvatron ranting and raving about his eventual demise.
No, not quite the situation Ultra Magnus wanted to find himself in.
How he allowed himself to be caught like this was still a mystery. The schematics he ran on how he would be getting in and out of the Decepticon base, the time he spent knowing exactly how every process within his mission was going to take, and hell, it’s not like he was dealing with much competition.
As powerful as Galvatron was, he was a lunatic now, more obsessed with beating down his subordinates than actually getting anything for his cause done. Much like the real Megatron but, the distinction was still there. Then there were the sweeps: intimidating enough to look at but ultimately, so . . .  well Ultra Magnus hesitated on the word, how callous it sounded, but they were so DUMB. One vain, one a coward, one simply playing leader while having no clue of how to truly manage their cohorts.
Yet, were they really so incompetent if they captured him? Or was Ultra Magnus just worse off than he realized? No, that wasn’t it, neither side. Because it was not the sweeps that caught him.
It was Cyclonus.
Cyclonus, he truly, was an odd one out amongst these new Decepticons.
He remembered their time well as Quintesson killing jar combatants. Cyclonus was stoic, cold, calculated, a brave and noble warrior. The two seemed to find equal ground on opposite sides, a fierce loyalty to their sides. Where they differed was Ultra Magnus’ sense of justice, and Cyclonus’ need to prove worth. Yet somehow, those values still aligned all too well for them. The wonders Cyclonus could do if he was an autobot, but alas. Cyclonus was made in the image of evil, he would follow Galvatron to the ends of the galaxy. That was something Ultra Magnus would have to spend the next 5 cycles researching on. If he was given five cycles now that he awaited a swift death. Perhaps it would be Cyclonus himself to carry out the hit. At least then, Ultra Magnus’ pride wouldn’t be so wounded.
The door of his prison zoomed up, and in stepped a familiar purple-clad figure. Speak of the devil, it was his ghost again.
Cyclonus stared down at Ultra Magnus, gazes meeting one another in an intense glare. Ultra Magnus could barely make out the sound of Cyclonus humming, as he drew forth a gun.
Game over, it seemed.
Ultra Magnus would not hang his helm though as he spoke. “Come to finish me off? Do it then. If you were hoping for information I would never–” BANG.
Ultra Magnus shuttered his optics behind his visor, gritting his teeth as the shot rang out. He held his arms down infront of him for some type of protection.
Wait.
His arms? He could move them? Ultra Magnus’ optics widened as he looked down to his now free servos. The mech craned his neck up to see where his arms were previously held hostage. A smoking black shot against the wall and broken chains were above his head. “Up. Now.” Cyclonus commanded, throwing the gun to the side. Despite his order, Ultra Magnus still did not move fast enough for his liking, so he took one of the other’s arms in his grip and pulled. Ultra Magnus stumbled to his pedes, looking at the Decepticon SIC in utter confusion. “You had the perfect chance to kill me and you–” Before he could finish the sentiment, Cyclonus was pulling the Autobot by the collar, and pressing their lips tightly together. Once again, Magnus’ optics went wide, stuttering even to comprehend what had just happened. Cyclonus even now seemed so . . . focused. Slotting their lips together as if they’d always fit so perfectly. Magnus nearly let his optics close, let himself sink into the moment before Cyclonus was pulling away, leaving the Autobot breathless. It took a moment to gather his thoughts before Ultra Magnus was stuttering. Gods, he was stuttering? What had the warship done to him? “I . . . you . . . why did you–” “Consider that your 5-click head start.” The warship interrupted, already pushing Ultra Magnus to leave the cell. “The others will be distracted only for so long.” “Wait, wait!” Ultra Magnus pushed back, turning to him. “Why are you helping me? Wouldn’t it mean the world to your leader if I was dead?” “Yes. It would.” Cyclonus answered back, without the slightest hint of hesitation. Well, good to see his priorities were still straight. “But,” Cyclonus began again. “It is . . . not honorable. You are meant to die on the battlefield, us, in glorious combat. Not to rot in a cell.” Cyclonus informed, rather poetic for the time. Ultra Magnus raised an optic ridge. “So this isn’t over.” Cyclonus nodded. “Not nearly. Now go!”
---- When they met again, the roles could not have been more reversed. Cyclonus hanged off the side of an autobot cargo ship, claws digging deep into the metal, threatening to loosen. One wing hung damaged and smoking. Even if it wasn’t painful to transform, there was no way he could manage himself in the air long enough to not crash. This was, pitifully so, the end for the Decepticon SIC.
Cyclonus mustered what breath he could still, and slowly let his servos unpierce the metal of the autobot ship. He closed his optics, waiting for the fall to brush past him and into oblivion. As his servo fell away from the ship, a hand from within grabbed his wrist roughly, stopping his fall before it even began. Cyclonus’ optics opened and he looked up to see a familiar autobot. “Magnus!” He called out before he was pulled up into the ship. Nothing else was exchanged between the two, as soon as Cyclonus was pulled aboard, Ultra Magnus had dipped him, slotting their lips into a kiss, not unlike when Magnus was kept in prison. It was Cyclonus’ turn for his optics to widen, dumbfounded as Ultra Magnus pulled away from the kiss. “What happened to dying on the battlefield, huh?” the autobot spoke, a smile twitching up on his features. How. How idiotic. How foolish. How casual. How–oh gods above, how charming.
Cyclonus lunged, arms wrapped tight around Ultra Magnus’ helm, causing the Autobot to stumble back against his own control panel. The kisses started again, heavier, hotter, than before. Forget the fact that mashed-around servos were changing their flight patterns. Cyclonus pressed close, as did Ultra Magnus, taking the slightest gulps of air when the warship allowed him to.
Cyclonus pulled back, taking in a deep breath, eyes half-lidded. Still, he panted as he crooned, “Why must we always seek the unattainable?” “Shut up.” Ultra Magnus rather ineloquently interrupted, going for another kiss. “Just shut up.”
They went on like that for far longer than what was necessary. Not that any of this interaction was necessary. Not that their interaction in the Decepticon cell was necessary.
And yet. It became necessary for them.
The paint transfers were a tad of a challenge, but nothing a well-crafted explanation couldn’t sweep away. ----
Their third tryst together was far less easy to explain.
Ultra Magnus sat at the edge of a berth, lavender scratches of paint covering his frame. The only sound that filled the room was a few deep breaths in the dark. By his side, a servo wrapped against one shoulder, while the other moved his helm to look his paramour in the optics. Cyclonus, with a satisfied smirk, pressed a kiss against Ultra Magnus’ cheek. “My breath must mingle with yours, lest it feel wrong.” he breathed out. Ultra Magnus hummed. “You just come up with that? It’s beautiful.” He had to admit, raising a hand to cup Cyclonus’ helm in his own, and giving him a more forward peck. “Cyclonus,” he began, letting the warship nuzzle into his servo. “We could be more than this.” Cyclonus answered, “Whatever do you mean?”
Ultra Magnus let a softer smile cross his features. “You could, well, you could join me. You’d be a fine autobot–” Ultra Magnus barely got another word in before the hand that just caressed his shoulder was at his throat, pushing him back on the berth. Cyclonus narrowed ruby optics, a sneer coming to his features. “Choose your words wisely, Ultra Magnus.” He spoke, getting close to the other’s face. “Do not ever ask me to betray my lord.” Ultra Magnus choked for a moment before he nodded as best he could. “Noted.”
Cyclonus loosened his grip, but he did not move from his position. Instead, his sneer turned to a smirk. “Shall we continue?” The warship soon was throwing his leg over the side of Ultra Magnus’ frame, straddling the Autobot's waist as he leaned down. Ultra Magnus chuckled, still collecting the breath that was knocked out of him. “Well, when you move like that.” He hummed. Soon, the Autobot’s face fell into bliss, brought into a few more kisses, that traveled down his neck cables. “Magnus,” Cyclonus whispered, “Your talents are wasted under a faulty prime like Rodimus.” He began. Odd dirty talk to have, but Ultra Magnus couldn’t help himself. This sort of talk was wrong to indulge in, but he pushed. “Go on.” Cyclonus traveled lower on his neck. “Your skills.” A kiss. “Your tactical mastery.” Another kiss. “Mmm,” Ultra Magnus let out, so perfectly in the palm of Cyclonus’ servos. “Surely you have wondered, how much farther your efforts would be appreciated under Decepticon colors.” There it was. Ultra Magnus used an arm to push Cyclonus up from his neck, breaking their contact. Magnus spoke, firm as ever. “Cyclonus. I don’t ask you to betray your lord. You don’t ask me to betray my cause. Got it?” For a moment, the room went cold. Cyclonus’ heated gaze turned. “Noted.” He echoed from before. “Will this be our last rendezvous then?” Ultra Magnus let an optic ridge go up and teased. “Hey now, I didn’t say that.” a chuckle followed, and the mood had been restored. Cyclonus hummed and leaned down for another kiss. “So then. Where were we?”

Starscream's fight glossary.
Basically, it's a way for me to give you guys some explanation to some terminology and techniques that I'll be using and describing.
The twist is that this is my attempt at making it in-universe as well. I hope to one day accompany these with drawings breaking it down but I'm nowhere near skilled enough for that just yet.
Not only that, but I'll be updating it as our boy picks up some new tricks, and when it gets updated, I'll hyper-link it under the chapter.
Entry #1
A place to document my findings after studying the fleshlings' pitiful techniques.
I'll begin with the basics, the right and left servo'd stances.
The "Orthodox" or right-servo'd stance involves the left pede positioned forwards with the right pede behind you, facing 45 degrees to the right. The left servo is the "lead" or front servo, while the right is the "power servo."
The left-servo'd, or "southpaw" stance is the exact opposite; the right pede is in front with the left pede behind facing the left. The right servo now serving as the lead and the left as the power servo.
There's several benefits to each I've been able to gather after viewing footage...here and there.
One thing true about fleshlings and cybertronians is the preference towards a dominant servo. If a southpaw were to face an orthodox, their lead servos and pedes would be perfectly aligned.
One tactic widely used by southpaws is to get their lead pedal "outside" of their opponents' lead pedal, aligning their power servo directly down the middle.
Another tactic used by both orthodox and southpaw fighters against one another is to arc their lead hook over their opponents' lead servo or shoulder plating. This is especially effective as it comes at an unconventional angle and is difficult to see coming. It also serves as a way to "take away" an opponents jab.
The main focus of a Southpaw vs. Orthodox fight is to "take away" or consistently counter an opponents jab. Either that shut their activity down entirely.
A tactic used by orthodox fighters against southpaws is the lead (left) hook to the chasis. Humans obviously have less plating and armor than cybertronians, but the right side of the chasis is (generally) more likely to contain more vital components such as the tank and transmission. With the southpaws lead servo and pede forward, this also makes their entire right side vulnerable to an orthodox fighters left servo.
...
Well, that was long-winded.
A good tactic ivs also seen from southpaws is the use of the straight-left servo to the body. As stepping out doesn't just align their left with their opponents' helm, it also aligns it perfectly to the center of the chasis, even where the spark chamber is!
...
I'm getting bored of this, let's move on to something else.
Despite what I thought I knew about servo-to-servo combat, there is a science behind it... quite a bit of it, in fact.
The jab is the most basic tool in a fighters' arsenal. It is a punch of many uses, both offensively and defensively.
It's a simple, straight, quick punch with the lead servo. It can be thrown at great distance with relative safety, it can also be doubled into a "double-jab"
It also usually involves a quick step with the lead servo forwards, though they can switch this up by instead moving backwards with their rear pede first. This is to either create distance or to close distance.
Examples of using it offensively include using it to clear an opponents guard for a rear (power) servo, throwing it to the chasis to entice an opponent to drop the guard slightly, a perfect opening, and using it to heard opponents around.
The rear straight is different from the jab in that it has much more force and momentum behind it as it involves a twist of the pelvis and rear pede. The straight is usually preceeded by a jab, this is simply referred to by the humans as a (hilariously) simple "1-2" with the "1" being the jab and the '2" being the straight.
I wonder if the fleshlings are so good at simplifying things because trying to retain all the knowledge would make their squishy little helms explode... the thought brings a chuckle out of me.
The humans have a different variation of the rear straight. They call it the "overhand"... typical humans.
From this point forward, I will be referring to it as a "cross" due to it crossing over the opponents lead servo. It's the most simple, yet one of the most effective counters to the jab.
The counter usually goes slipping (the act of darting the helm to one side to barely evade an attack) an opponents jab and coming over with a cross as they're returning it to their faceplate.
A "hook" is a punch thay thrown from the side as opposed to coming out straight. It also involves a deep twist of the pelvis while throwing and can generate an incredible amount of force in a short amount of time over a short distance.
A lead hook is a hook thrown with the lead servo. It is a useful attack because it can be thrown with all the weight planted on the lead servo for extra weight behind it, or it can be "snapped" out quickly and if done right, will have practically no telegraph.
I'm not going to go over why the left hook to the chasis is useful because I already did earlier, but simplifying it, it's because the right side of the chasis is more likely to contain vital components.
The rear hook has an immense amount of power momentum behind it and involves the rear pede. Same general principle as the lead hook.
And "uppercut" is a very... unconventional attack.
It involves dropping one's weight down as well as their respective servo, before launching it upwards.
One benefit of this punch is that it's very quick to bring your servo back to a guarding position. It can also be utilized at point-blank range, either to the chasis or helm.
The lead uppercut can be thrown underneath an adversaries jab to set up other strikes but the rear uppercut is where the explosive force is.
I must admit, this was quite fun to write out... maybe I'll keep studying the humans, after all one must know their enemy.

Decided to compile all the info I currently have on my EAH OCs in a handy little post so I can subject people to them 💞 yes they're both from Pinocchio you know how it is. Picrews are from different times/their options aren't always great so forgive some discrepancies dhahsfahksfhkak
Fiammetta Wick
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Also this GREAT sketch my beloved friend Sol made of her 🥺💞🥺💞)
Tumblr media
the next Candlewick/Lampwick, Pinocchio's friend and instigator
name means "little flame" in Italian 😊
loud, brash, hides even her worst insecurities behind her quick wit and shit-eating grin
her voice turns to braying when she's in distress
(that definitely did not make her Land-of-Toys-traumatized dad nervous when she was a baby, no siree 🙃)
also has this pesky little issue where she spontaneously grows donkey ears when she's committed some mischief, which happens consistently
her days be like - Grimm: "Miss Wick, do you know anything about this?" Fiammetta, wearing a comically tall hat: "I don't know what the hex you're talking about sir"
Rebel because who the hell would want her destiny???
also there's a non-zero chance she'll die at the end, it happened to other Lampwicks before causing the story to pass to cadet branches of the family
likes the sea, boats, maths (though she still failed Crownculus because she didn't give a shit) and smoking (if it's a thing at all in Ever After), dislikes getting upset in public
is cordial enough to Cedar, they're not BFFAs but they can chat easily their dads definitely had a fling tho
takes Beast Training and Care because she IS gonna be a beast (hates it), Home Evilnomics (hates it even more) and General Villainy (is surprisingly good at it)

his appearance is pretty much limited to this paragraph and to a later confirmation that he's okay and Elma HATES it
she wants to do more, to BE more. Mia Goth voice I will not accept a life I do not deserve
overachiever perfectionist who aligns with the Rebels because she thinks she's made for bigger stuff than a simple footnote

*Disguises a Helm of Opposite Alignment as the Crown of Karsus, and when Raphael puts it on it permanently changes him from lawful evil to a chaotic good devil 😊*
Depending on the terms of the contract (or if he can choose to just rip it up) I might still be on the hook for not fulfilling my end, but hopefully the punishment will be more, ah, pleasant 😏 than it otherwise would

not super polished meta or anything but something i do think is really interesting and kind of a trend with how c!dream sees factions is how...quite consistently, c!dream doesn't judge a faction as umm holistically as one might guess, especially because a common thought in this fandom is that c!dream just hates factions in general by default (and i mean, id say he's not fond of factions and obviously has a distaste for faction conflict, but he's not nearly as immediately going after factions guns blazing the way that i think people can think of him sometimes)--rather, quite consistently, c!dream's perception of a faction at any point in time is a reflection of his perception of its leader.
lmanburg, at the very beginning, he clearly saw as unreasonable, kind of stupid and delusional, but still something to be treated with a degree of caution...which is how he saw c!wilbur, this guy who was making really fucking preposterous claims (what the fuck do you mean new server. like for this guy he might as well have been declaring that this place was a whole new planet while making pretty overt moves towards war if you disagreed with him) but also had gathered quite a following and wasn't going to take no for an answer. l'manchildburg and all that
later on, c!dream sees lmanburg more neutrally and even positively when his relationship with c!wilbur improves. this is most telling when he talks abt lmanburg to c!wilbur at the beginning of pogtopia and during vassal--of course it's up to debate what c!dream's concrete plans were, but i'm pretty solidly of the belief that he wasn't planning to get rid of lmanburg at this point as i outline here. c!wilbur was willing to be reasonable and even peaceable, and so the same applied to the faction he ruled over
c!dream repeatedly expresses that his disagreement with c!schlatt is what causes him to align himself against manberg, and downright says that with c!schlatt at the helm he doesn't believe that peace between their two nations can be maintained. this is a constant, honestly, down to when c!schlatt dies--c!dream never truly thinks well of manberg, and it seems quite obviously to be a direct result of who was in charge
after c!wilbur dies, despite expressing positive sentiments to c!wilbur later on in statements such as "the smartest person on the server" and quoting him during doomsday and the like, c!dream's assessments of him as a leader as he expresses to c!quackity are quite negative. which is interesting, when you consider that part of the angle c!wilbur takes up during vassal is specifically that he'll be ambitious like schlatt the way c!dream explicitly says he felt threatened by in his sales pitch to convince c!dream to blow up lmanburg with him. c!dream wanting lmanburg to be blown up at the same time as its "ruler" (as c!dream clearly did see c!wilbur as the authority over lmanburg) wanted it to be blown up...hm.
c!dream expresses sentiments along the lines of willing to cooperate and coexist with c!tubbo especially after c!tubbo "puts the good of the nation" first instead of choosing to pursue a conflict against c!dream. to c!quackity, c!dream talks about c!tubbo to be fair and reasonable, qualities he evidently values in a ruler
in stark opposition, c!dream's disagreement with mexican lmanburg has everything to do with his perception of c!quackity as a reckless, conflict-seeking (and that's the common thread, really. c!wilbur sought conflict in the revolution and then with his painting himself as chaotic and ambitious and seeking destruction, and c!schlatt was ambitious and murderous in a way that had very clear consequences in terms of starting conflict on the server) ruler with little regard for the consequences of his actions, as he says repeatedly over the course of the mexican lmanburg debates
finally, c!dream explicitly outlines c!tubbo's "failings" as ruler as being the breaking point in terms of green festival + doomsday and specifically says that c!tubbo is willing to let people in the cabinet walk all over him, as well as the fact that c!quackity is more of a president than he is. when we consider c!dream's already very negative assessment of c!quackity as a leader and how c!quackity had pushed a lot of the decisions that really made nlm a threat that was impossible for c!dream to reconcile with (especially with moves such as the butcher army), some of the underlying sentiments behind well the overt villain-isms of c!dream's speech here do seem to come to light.
and for some other moments that aren't quite as Big but still reflect this same idea--c!dream explicitly rejects nlm if it was under c!tommy's rulership but is willing to coexist with c!tubbo as president, both dethronements have a lot to do with c!eret and c!george's actions having negative consequences for the whole faction by compromising a neutral stand (and therefore compromising the quote unquote neutrality of the entire faction and possibly embroiling everyone into conflict), c!dream's willingness to work with the badlands, the difference between the factions that c!dream ignores post-prison versus the one that he attacks (las nevadas, obviously). it's interesting to me how often c!dream seems to view factions as almost being extensions of the will of the person leading them and how his opinion of a faction an his opinion of its leader bounce off of each other, yknow?
(this post is mostly a series of observations and absolutely oversimplified to a certain degree, but yeah 👍)

Venezuelan security forces fired tear gas and rubber bullets Monday at protesters challenging the reelection victory claimed by President Nicolás Maduro but disputed by the opposition and questioned abroad.
Thousands of people flooded the streets of several neighborhoods of the capital, chanting "Freedom, freedom!" and "This government is going to fall!"
Some ripped Maduro campaign posters from street posts and burned them.
AFP observed members of the national guard firing tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters, some wearing motorbike helmets and bandannas tied over their faces for protection. Some responded by throwing rocks back.
Maduro, 61, attended a meeting Monday at which the National Electoral Council (CNE) certified his reelection to a third six-year term until 2031.
He dismissed international criticism and doubts about the result of Sunday's voting, claiming Venezuela was the target of an attempted "coup d'etat" of a "fascist and counter-revolutionary" nature.
But opposition leader Maria Corina Machado later told reporters that a review of voting records available so far clearly showed that the next president "will be Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia," who took her place on the ballot after she was barred by Maduro-aligned courts.
The records showed a "mathematically irreversible" lead for Gonzalez Urrutia, she said, with 6.27 million votes to only 2.75 million for Maduro.
The elections were held amid widespread fears of fraud by the government and a campaign tainted by accusations of political intimidation.
Pollsters had predicted a resounding victory for the opposition.
In the early hours of Monday, the CNE said Maduro had won 51.2 percent of votes cast compared to 44.2 percent for Gonzalez Urrutia.
The opposition cried foul, prompting Attorney General Tarek William Saab to link Machado to an alleged cyber "attack" seeking to "adulterate" the results.
'Another fraud'
The outcome sparked concern and calls for a "transparent" process from the United Nations, United States, European Union and several countries in Latin America.
The CNE has not provided a detailed breakdown of the result.
Allies including China, Russia and Cuba congratulated Maduro.
Gonzalez Urrutia, a 74-year-old former diplomat, on Monday acknowledged the deep discontent in society with the CNE results and vowed that "we will fight for our liberty."
Machado assured Venezuelans that "the leaders of the world" are validating the results, and called families to turn out Tuesday for "popular assemblies" nationwide to show support for a peaceful transition of power.
Nine Latin American countries called in a joint statement Monday for a "complete review of the results with the presence of independent electoral observers."
The US-based Carter Center, one of a few organizations allowed to bring observers into Venezuela, urged the CNE to immediately publish detailed polling station-level results.
Brazil and Colombia also urged a review of the numbers while Chile's president said the outcome was "hard to believe."
Peru recalled its ambassador and Panama said it was suspending relations with Venezuela.
Caracas hit back Monday, saying it was withdrawing diplomatic staff from Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay for "interventionist actions and statements."
'Bloodbath' warning
Independent polls had predicted Sunday's vote would end 25 years of "Chavismo," the populist movement founded by Maduro's socialist predecessor and mentor, the late Hugo Chavez.
Maduro has been at the helm of the once-wealthy oil-rich country since 2013. The last decade has seen GDP drop by 80 percent, pushing more than seven million of its 30 million citizens to emigrate.
He is accused of locking up critics and harassing the opposition in a climate of rising authoritarianism.
In the run-up to the election, he had warned of a "bloodbath" if he lost.
Ballots were cast on machines that sent electronic votes directly to a centralized CNE database.
The machines printed out paper receipts that were placed in a container and counted by hand as a backup measure meant to be open to public scrutiny.
The opposition had deployed about 90,000 volunteer election monitors nationwide.
Economic misery
Sunday's election was the product of a deal reached last year between the government and opposition.
That agreement led the United States to temporarily ease sanctions imposed after Maduro's 2018 reelection, rejected as a sham by dozens of Latin American and other countries.
Sanctions were snapped back after Maduro reneged on agreed conditions.
Venezuela boasts the world's largest oil reserves but has seen severely diminished production capacity in recent years.
Most Venezuelans live on just a few dollars a month, and endure biting shortages of electricity and fuel.
Economic misery in the South American nation has been a major source of migration pressure on the southern border of the United States, where immigration is a major presidential election issue.

@lordgortrash sent a sending stone: are you seeing someone right now ?
Tumblr media
working with him was always going to be a gamble. the moment her pathway to a cure for the wriggly little stowaway in her skull pointed her toward a bigger enemy in baldur’s gate, she knew she would need strong allies and he had made that list quick and without a second thought. she could swallow her pride and set aside their fundamental differences and their less-than-savory goodbye from years prior for the sake of getting rid of not just her or her newfound friends’ tadpoles, but those of everyone who had fallen victim to the absolute.
what she hadn’t banked on was that he was at the helm of the entire thing, and when that truth came to light, that aligning with him — at least for the time being — was still a strong option that couldn’t be passed on. as much as it sickened her at that point to swallow her pride and shake hands on an agreement to reunite the netherstones under a new partnership, it was a necessary sacrifice. she could move through the city without facing grief from the flaming fist or the steelwatch; she had more intel and resources at her disposal. one thing she learned, first from him and then from years of experience, was that there were always two options: the moral one that felt right, and the tactical one that was right.
this was the tactical one, and it was right — for right now. whether it was right for the long haul remained to be seen, and was being thoroughly tested.
what had started out as an agreed upon meeting to iron out some details and gain more intel in the wake of the big day of fighting assassins of bhaal that was ahead of her, had steadily derailed thanks to prodding here and there on his end. nonsensical to most, certainly, or a means to get closer and reforge a bond after years apart — but liana knew better. experience was a harsh and cruel teacher and the moment the question of deeply personal matters came up, all bets were off.
“I fail to see what that has to do with the terms of this alliance.” a fair assessment. the ship on their relationship rekindling has long sailed and won’t be porting any time soon — or, if liana had firm say in the matter (and she always did), ever. any matters of the heart had no room at this table.
the fact that a matter of her heart was sitting opposite her, pushing her, digging his claws into her to see what would make her bleed for him was entirely inconsequential. she holds back the urge to stand from the table, make herself bigger in that moment, build up the image of a threat should he push her further. a moment is spared to still that storm that rages in her chest, spreads to every limb, and she fixes her stare to him. “I have plenty occupying my time right now and you needn’t be one of those things if you don’t intend to take this seriously.”

Is Bangladesh About to Change Forever?
In the heart of South Asia, Bangladesh stands at a critical juncture that could define its trajectory for decades. The upcoming elections, seen as a beacon of democracy, highlight the pressing need for systemic reforms to ensure true democratic transformation, breaking free from the entrenched practices of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's administration. Should Bangladesh postpone its elections until these reforms are in place? The answer leans towards the necessity of patience. For nearly two decades, the people of Bangladesh have faced a political landscape rife with instability, corruption, and a lack of genuine democratic engagement. Despite repeated elections marred by fraud and suppression of dissent, citizens have shown remarkable resilience, waiting for a government truly representative of their needs. A few more years of waiting, committed to reform, could yield significant dividends for the nation. The urgency for reform cannot be overstated. The current political system concentrates power, stifling opposition and marginalizing critical voices, leading to disillusionment among the populace. Postponing elections would allow for a more inclusive framework prioritizing transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement, paving the way for a culture that respects and promotes democratic values. A compelling reason for this postponement lies in the potential impact of influential figures like Dr. Muhammad Yunus. A Nobel laureate and microfinance pioneer, Dr. Yunus has transformed lives and communities, instilling agency among the impoverished. Imagine the possibilities if he played a prominent role in shaping Bangladesh's political landscape, particularly in a reformed system valuing his insights. Dr. Yunus embodies the spirit of change Bangladesh needs, advocating for social justice, gender equality, and the welfare of the marginalized. By postponing elections for systemic reforms, the nation could harness his expertise to create policies addressing poverty and inequality. A government embracing Yunus's principles could align economic growth with social progress. Moreover, postponing elections is not stagnation but a strategic pause for reflection and recalibration, allowing for dialogue across political divides and consensus-building on reforms needed for a fair electoral process. Citizens have shown patience, waiting 18 years for meaningful change. A few more years dedicated to a robust democratic framework could lead to a more vibrant political environment. In conclusion, while the desire for elections is strong, the need for systemic reforms is paramount. Postponing elections allows Bangladesh to seize the moment to transform its political landscape, moving away from practices that have hindered progress. With visionary leaders like Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the helm, the country could emerge stronger, more equitable, and truly democratic. The path may be challenging, but the promise of a brighter future for all Bangladeshis is worth the wait.

Taking the helm of a department that oversees more than 80,000 employees and manages a $1.7 trillion budget, Kennedy’s leadership comes at a critical moment. Health officials have been sounding alarms about the rising threat of avian influenza potentially evolving into a human pandemic, while falling vaccination rates are leading to the return of preventable childhood diseases across the nation. Kennedy’s confirmation has sparked debate, given his controversial views on vaccines and public health measures in the past. Connectedness of the Unseen
Sitting in a green glade
Denying dismay
Darling buds May
Grave to Aries’ April
Hateful, apeful child of the Zodiac
Hasty hasty feels no disgrace
Counterposing sky, wide as cheshire smiles once they lie
Four poster bed of the world
Suddenly a sense of interrelation
Objects elated by distant others
Modes like phantom tones, toad-throated odes only oak-obscured Woodwoses know
All things steady, stolid and statuesque in movement tendency course and flow without our knowing
Axiomatic idea that atoms not only smash but distantly interact
Arms linking an unseen but depthful tesseract
Antipodes acting upon one another in the manner of phantoms
Growing like tales in telling, glowing like sun-hit helms
Like Armstrong’s arm, like a pintman’s belly now he’s settled
What glows relies the dark
What is love, remarks a heart
Our eyes unknowing invest
Opposite poles yet aligned, the arch-mind of the designer.
