What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

a lot of “hooked” makes me laugh actually but today it’s this part in particular:

Tombo shrugs, somehow. “I wouldn’t eat that, if I were you.”

“Is it like, poisonous, or something? Will it turn me into a bird?”

“No, pal, it’s unicorn jerky,” Tombo says. “Not everything gives you magical powers. Sometimes it’s just weird or gross. Like that.”

What made you start writing?

oh i don’t know. i’ve been making up stories and telling tall tales since i could put words together. (that is not an exaggeration. i used to make up stories about other moms i allegedly had and told my mom all about the adventures i went on with them. i was three.) i guess it was inevitable i would try and put them to paper as soon as i could. but like i always get the itch to write after I’ve read something incredible, and that was true when i was little, too. so i guess that’s your answer! reading makes me want to write.
