If you wanna see Mario and litterally everyone in the Mario universe pissed off, the Mario Strikers Charged cutscenes are your tickets. Every single one of them is a chefs kiss of cinema, they are all characterised so well. And peach and Daisy are bad b's.
Ooh! Glad you brought that game up because, funnily enough, that was one of the first Mario games I ever played (my cousins had a gamecube, so I played a lot of Super Mario Strikers and Smash Bros Melee whenever I visited)
That game has the BEST interpretation of Princess Daisy imo; her sassy butt sizzle, the way she falls backwards and punches the air when she scores, the terror she strikes into her teammates whenever she glares at them...
But Peach was also yelling at her teammates! And DK! Bowser was throwing tantrums and setting his teammates on fire. Petey Piranha straight up eats one of his fellow players out of rage. Wario tries to explode himself. Everyone is way too into it.
It's fantastic.
There's also the rare appearance of Firebrand and Thunderhand
And perhaps the most BANGER Luigi theme ever written

On a Genshin Poll from a while ago, you said that you could talk about Xinyan way more and it would be nice hear those thoughts! Xinyan is one of favorite Genshin characters (her design is so cool) so if you don't mind talking about her more, I'd love to hear it!
oh i didnt mean xinyan specifically in general i like talking about design (critiquing.nitpicking.praising.etc) so it really extends to most any of the characters. but you asked about xinyan so ill talk about xinyan. design wise shes very nice to look at for. her colors are all so warm with one of my favorite palettes (black/red/white). shes on the simple side compared to alot of other characters and i think its nice makes her alot easier to draw. pretty easy design to remember. for me anyway (big sleeves/braids.big collar. big hair.spikes) i dont really need to give specific reasons tbh her design is just really good. one of the pyro characters ever

was kinda thinking about this when I saw Renee Rapp live recently-- I didn't know her visual vibe, I'd heard a few songs here and there but I hadn't really *seen* her, and her attire at Osheaga was really casual, a jersey (baseball/basketball?) and slacks. And that was so amazing! I couldn't help thinking, the work Billie Eilish has done for how women in pop music are allowed to dress is incredible. Seeing her up there all comfortable you just know that Billie walked in her oversized tops so that Renee in her slacks could run; Billie walked through all the critcisms about how she dressed slobbily and having to assert that she didn't owe anyone a display of skin, so that Renee could be comfortable and unquestioned running up and down the catwalk in front of 10,000 people. How iconic.
And I don't think we even realised at the time how much something as simple as letting Billie dress the way she as a (then-) 17-year-old teenager dressed, could end up meaning for a future generation of women in music.
Obviously there is still way to go, there were weirdos complaining about how 'plain' Dua Lipa's Glastonbury outfit was this year (in 2024!!), l have to ask, are you at Paris Fashion Week?? She is the musical HEADLINER of an entire day of music at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, and you can't grant her the space to exist as an artist, you have to moan about her dress not being excitingly revealing enough. There's work to do, it's still dismal out there. But the space Billie Eilish has created for a most ordinarily-dressed woman popstar is still heartening.
