the only three full blown, tony soprano level panic attacks i’ve had in my adulthood were when pap smears were attempted on me lmaooooo BUT TODAY (after taking an ativan, writing out affirmations, texting my friend for support, and making a playlist full of megan thee stallion and bikini kill to listen to on the way there) i communicated my needs to a doctor who was deeply kind and walked me through every second of the process and although we still couldn’t complete the test, she was so kind and sat with me while i cried a bit afterwards and gave me gentle tips if i wanna work on this but only if i want to (neither of us said the word but i’ve been thinking abt vaginismus for a while now hhhhhhhmmmmm) and reassured me and was so kind and it may have been the first positive experience i’ve had in a gynecological office at the age of fucking 31 which is a whole different rant i have but yeah, i’m proud of myself today. fucking exhausted and needed taco bell and blank check afterwards, but proud. i advocated for myself in a medical setting!!! i did it!!!

Haints are one of those ghosts populating the south eastern US, they can't cross water, and you can hang blue bottles (soul jars) from trees to trap them. other ways to stop them is to paint your porch ceiling a specific blue called haint blue, and if you have words (quotes, post its, book pages, anything) on your wall it has to read them before it can do anything.

the character ask game: sam from lotr, and kili from the hobbit (yes i have a crush on the latter do not mock my suffering)

First impression: I don’t honestly remember my first opinion of him when I first read the book, or when I first saw the movie. I think I was pretty excited about him though because he was one of my mom’s favorite characters, and I thought he was cool :) (I first read/watched lotr back in 7th grade, so…kinda dim memories lol)

Impression now: I love Sam; he’s such a great character and is so loyal and amazing. I will confess, he does annoy me a bit at times BUT ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE A FRIEND (the same friend who recently joined tumblr, actually) who would always claim that Sam was the best character and that he was way higher than anyone else, and that irked me because not everyone’s favorite character has to be the character you’re supposed to like the most. So sometimes I’m reminded of that…(but this was years ago, again, and she’s much different now)

Favorite moment: THE SAMWISE THE BRAVE MOMENT, because the musiiiiicccccc. Also the part where he remembers Rosie dancing—“she had ribbons in her hair” 😭😭😭

Idea for a story: hmmmdehmmm…well I’ve always wanted to know just exactly what Sam said to Rosie in that scene when they get back to the Shire; so that would be a good idea for a fic :)

Unpopular opinion: He should have been just a wee bit nicer to Gollum; yes, Gollum was despicable and awful, but in the books he was actually fairly decent for a few chapters, and Sam flat out refused to even give him a chance. :/ I always feel really bad for Gollum, especially after listening to Gollum’s Song a number of times (I’ve seen that it’s a conversation between Gollum and the ring, but I think it could also be between Gollum and Sméagol) and it always makes me a little sad to see Sam just not even give him a chance

How do you think Shigaraki would react to someone he had feelings for forming a close friendship (strictly platonic) with another League member? He strikes me as someone who would want all of their attention even if he didn't consciously know why, but I'd like a second opinion.

hhhhHHHMMMMM i’d say it depends on who you would become close friends with (aka this is gonna be about a shiggy vs dabi rivalry lmao strap down folks).

i think on a baseline level, no matter who your best friend is, tomura will demand more attention than you give to your friend. he has to be your #1 in all ways. you can have your friend, but at the end of the day he expects you to share all of your concerns, thoughts, and desires with him as well.

if you’re friends with mr. compress, tomura gives absolutely no shits (he might even be like ‘really…why’, don’t be rude shiggy). toga is also not a concern, because she’s friendly with everyone and she knows to stay in her lane if she even thinks of you as more than a friend. which she won’t, because you are besties and that’s all your hearts need from each other.

things get a bit fuzzy once you get to twice. much like toga, he knows not to step on his leader’s toes, so i guess one glare from tomura is enough to set everyone straight. he’s also a very supportive friend, so tomura is glad that you have someone like that by your side. spinner is a bit more of a wild card to tomura because he’s seen that this guy has no qualms about getting in his face when he’s pissed off. he’s also the most laid-back and relatable, which is what draws you to him in the first place, but tomura is side eyeing this hard.

the alarm bells go off if you grow close to dabi. that guy is smokin hot in every sense of the word, a mysterious bad boy with a standoffish personality, he’s just got it all. and for him to open up to you when he doesn’t let anyone get close to him? tomura can’t think of it as being anything other than him crushing on you, and he is ready to square up. dabi knows what kind of relationship he has with you and he’s very confident about it, and he’s annoyed that tomura isn’t willing to let go of his jealousy to see the truth of the situation. so unfortunately i can see dabi adding fuel to the fire just to piss off his leader. you will have to step in and calm them both down and sit their asses down for an adult conversation on boundaries. it will take a while for tomura to feel comfortable with this friendship. the only positive that comes of this is that he trusts dabi the most with keeping you safe. apart from that, dabi will have to suffer through tomura appearing out of nowhere and coaxing you into a makeout session or being handsy with you.
