but the looks didn’t go away, and with time you started to look back. enjoy his attention. to the point where you’d secretly end up on your back, with your big step brother ‘teaching’ you things that no other guy could, or would be allowed to teach you. your dirty little secret.

you knew rafe’s friends didn’t know — which surprised you, considering you thought rafe would jump at the chance to brag on something so pornographic. you figured they had suspected something was amiss with the two of you, from the way he would take any chance to put his hands on you to ‘mess with’ you, or from the way his eyes would drop to your ass when you’d walk away — but he hadn’t said a word, which to his friends meant it was free game.

after you’d walked out the room, having had a brief discussion with rafe about dinner plans — the eyes followed you until you disappeared into the hallway.

“shit, i nearly got up and followed her.” kelce fills the silence with a joke, causing the room of guys to erupt into laughter of agreement, even topper — the boy who prided himself on being the most ‘respectful’ slapping at his arm and nodding, chortling out something along the lines of “hey you said it not me!”

rafe chuckles himself, understanding the hype. you were smoking hot, and knowing he secretly had the girl they all wanted to himself filled him with a sense of sick pride. “yeah, alright.” he drawls, hoping to end the conversation there and then as he walks back around the couch and slumps down, chewing obnoxiously at his gum.

“you see the way that ass moves, man? shit i get hypnotised everytime she’s walking away.” another comments, followed by another chiming in with “hate to see her go, but love to watch her leave!” which of course had the room erupting into more laughter.

rafe got in his head pretty quickly after that. they were laughing, and not at you — at the idea that you were so easily accessible, and yet untouchable. perhaps they were laughing at the fact rafe wouldn’t be brave enough to make a move on you, due to the odds you’d been dealt — which couldn’t be further from the truth, but rafe didn’t enjoy the insinuation of disrespect. his smile slowly slid off his face, staring ahead, continuing to chew to curb that coke craving that his irritation fed him.

he feels a hand on his shoulder, some red faced try hard from the club that had tagged along back to tannyhill with barely an invite. he sucks in a breath of excitement, unable to continue what he was about to say through his laughter and rafe curls his lip up a little bit in disgust.

“bro, if that was my step sister… things would have got real pornhub in this house, i can tell you that for fr—” his words are cut off by rafe violently shoving the boy a little too hard off him, the guy crashing off the couch onto the floor. quiet falls over the group, now noticing rafe’s sudden change in mood. he doesn’t wanna seem too bothered, so he clears his throat and adjusts his polo collar.

the group decided to drop the topic after that.

“aww, come on pete, lay off him will you?” flash thompson laughs. “nah, he’s too easy,” peter replies. they had been roaming the halls, cutting class to smoke a joint. since peter was out early, he figured meeting you once your class period was over would be fun, high sex in the bathroom stalls was on his bucket list after all, and you never told him no when it came down to a good time.

in the midst of both flash and peter roaming the halls, they had ran into miguel o’hara, clutching his books in his hands during his free period, roaming the halls like them. nudging flash in his shoulder, peter made a show of miguel. he had pushed him into the lockers, feigning accident. miguel hit the rusted metal with a thud, dropping his books in the process.

“oh, did i bump you? my deepest apologies,” peter mocks, flash not even trying to hide his smile. miguel looks up from his place on the ground between the two, rubbing his shoulder that hit the locker. not worth it, he thinks, and moves to reach one of his books. before he can grab it, peter kicks it across the hall. miguel’s eyes stay focused on the ground. “aww, what happened? you got butterfingers, o’hara?” flash laughs.

“pick up your fuckin’ books, you’re blocking the hall,” peter directs towards miguel. miguel stays unmoved, pushing his glasses up his nose, eyes still glued to the floor. peters angry, feeling disrespected. “hey,” he says, and the hostility beginning to bubble in his voice is clear. “you fuckin’ deaf or what? i said pick up for fuckin-”

“the fuck is going on here?” you interrupt, seeing peter and flash freeze for a split second. you had left a while ago to go to the bathroom and skip class, but had decided to stop by your lockers, where you found peter and flash bullying some random.

“hey, baby,” peter begins. your eyebrow raises and he drops the act. “we uh- we were just tryna help h-”

“can it. i can smell the pot off you guys, fuckin’ gross. get outta here before you get caught with no hall pass,” you dismiss both peter and flash. peter makes way to kiss you goodbye but you move your head, your eyes telling him to get the fuck on.

when both peter and flash are long gone down the hall, you turn to miguel. “hey,” you say. he finally looks up at you and you see tears welling in his eyes. you wince, and wordlessly kick his book back to him. watching him gather up his books is almost disheartening, usually you laugh at something this pathetic. your feelings get the better of you, so you walk to miguel and buy your hand on his chin, lifting his head up to look at you. the eye contact sends a weird feeling in your chest, his tear stained brown eyes filled with emotion.

“chin up, dweeb,” you say, touching the tip of his nose and winking at him before you get up and leave, off to see what trouble peter found himself in.

miguel is in shock. that’s the first time he’s ever been talked to by someone popular. a popular girl at that. miguel looks back at your figure walking away, hips swaying with determination and he feels his heart swell in his chest.

“you gettin all sappy on me now, baby?” miguel quips. “funny. you must have forgotten what to address me as. i’ve been too nice to you,” you reply, your gaze intense. miguel swallows and his whole demeanour changes. “i didn’t forget, mistress,” he replies. you smile, getting up from the couch, pulling miguel up by his shirt to follow you.

— Best way to win against him if you aren’t as physically able is to distract him! Nip at his ear, dig your fingers into his side to tickle him, press a kiss to his neck as you lunge for him. Makes him short circuit, all of a sudden he doesn’t wanna fight anymore 😳

— Henceforth why 9/10 times your roughhousing turns into you making out or something else.

𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐈 𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍

— Finds it annoying, naturally. But if you pester him enough he’ll give in and indulge you. He expects you to get bored after pinning you several times, but when you keep coming back for more he gets really into it. All of a sudden his pupils are all big and he’s fighting more enthusiastically.

— Play fighting brings out his inner child tbh. I doubt you can overpower his insane ackerman strength, but you can outmaneuver him if you really try. The look on his face when you finally flip him onto his back is worth the struggle. Grey eyes wide and the slightest of blushes adorning his pale cheeks.

“Ha! I finally got you!” you pant triumphantly, practically heaving from the effort it took to pin him.

“Yeah you got me. Now get off, you’re heavy.” he can’t even look at you, the image of you atop him is doing things to him he isn’t ready to confront.

— Learns to love roughhousing with you in time. It’s a nice way to burn off any restlessness before you wind down for bed.

— Don’t expect to win very often, and if you do give him plenty of kisses to soften the blow. He’s incredibly ticklish and you can abuse this fatal flaw to get the upper hand, he gets all squirmy and is more focused on wiggling away than fighting you between the wheezes being forced out of him.

— Sometimes he’s simply too exhausted to play to which you can usually tell and wrap him up in your arms to cuddle instead.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑

— LOVES TO PLAY FIGHT!! In fact he’s usually the one that initiates! Hope you’re watching your six cus he could attack at any time, you’ll just be minding your own business and suddenly he’s pouncing on you from behind.

— Beware!! He does not play fair! Will pull out all the stops: tickling, smooching, pinching, BITING. He’s feral istg 😭 Pulls you back by the shirt when you scramble away, rests his whole weight on you to keep you immobile, will even pretend like you hurt him to get you to lower your guard so he can strike back.

“Connie ow! Did you just??? Did you just bite me?!”

“You didn’t say it was against the rules 🤨”

— Connie is overall a very affectionate partner, and I feel like he interprets your desire to roughhouse as wanting to be close to him. Another way to say “I love you and want to be around you.”

— It’s all too easy to get distracted by his grinning lips while you’re fighting for the upper hand, so there will be many kisses exchanged in between. And more often than not you forget about fighting all together, too busy sharing spit to care about throwing the other around.

𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐍

— His hearts in the right place… maybe a bit too much so because he can’t for the life of him loosen up enough to actually put up much of a fight against you. He’s too afraid he’ll accidentally hurt you for real and that wouldn’t be any fun at all :(((

— has too much anxiety to really enjoy it at first, but after a few rounds of you looking a little too smug? Talking all that smack? Well now he’s got to challenge you, just to see what you look like when you’ve been beat. He expects you to pout after he’s successfully trapped you beneath his body, but you can’t stop giggling because what you wanted from the beginning.

— Learns to love it because you get so into it, full on tackling him to the ground when he lets his guard down. He just likes to see you happy tbh, and if a little roughhousing is what makes you smile that big you can bet he’ll indulge you whenever you want.

— Likes it especially when you get Gabi in on it and coordinate combo sneak attacks when he’s none the wiser. The two most important people in his life giggling and squealing as he tosses them around? He can die happy.

𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑

— He’s not the best at it, he mostly pretends to fight back while you maneuver him into various joint holds. He’s a gentle giant really, he’ll just let you pin him and look up at you with sleepy eyes as you pout because he’s not really trying.

— Doesn’t help that he very much likes to be pinned down by you and oftentimes his body reacts to you, turning your one-sided play fight into something less wholesome.

— Falls asleep on you a lot because you’re pressed so close, and you’re so soft and warm and… snore. You can tell when he’s had enough of your wrestling because he just rests his whole weight on you so you can’t move (the only time he ever really wins) you can’t help but sigh and accept defeat, opting to run your fingers through his hair while he snuggles into your chest instead.

— probably fights you more in his goddamn sleep than awake with all that moving around he does 💀

“You bored yet?” he chuckles as you’re perched on his thighs, hands barely pushing back against his.

“You’re no fun, Bertie,” you sigh, leaning forward til you fall on top of him. His arms wrap around you immediately, large hands rubbing soothing circles into your back as you relax against him.

“Sorry, I just get all soft around you I guess. I don’t even think of defending myself.” he yawns, eyelids drooping as your comforting body weight starts to lull him to sleep. “Not like I’d win anyways, you’re stronger than me.”

“Not trueeeee, you just won’t try. But it’s ok, I like seeing you beneath me.”

He chokes at that, suddenly wide awake.
