Hi I saw someone on twt wanting this to be translated and that's literally all it takes to get me moving anymore so!

Anyways I translated all the food and drinks, I found the references they chose really cute except for the evil one lmao and I also included the unbelievably small print drink ingredients if you wanna try mixing them yourself!! 🫶

The Bride Soda, which comes with a double-sided postcard of the sworn friends (very common nickname for Vash and Wolfwood in JP fandom and ig official uses it too)

So the soda is their proprietary thing, it doesn't say what flavor it is or if it has one, but the shotglasses come with a little bit of smoked oak syrup and black ceylon tea and you're meant to fill the rest of the glass with soda and drink it that way. And then the rest of the text is just information and disclaimers for customers that plan on taking the bottle home (I guess it breaks really easily that’s So. lmao).

So they've got

Two way acrylic figure stands (the main stand comes with a ball chain, you can reference these on Amiami for what this kind of product looks like I'm prettyyyyy sure like they're called different but it looks like they go together the same way). Anyways this is a set of 6 and 1650 yen each, it looks like you get to choose which one you want but they don't have a deal listed for getting all of them.

Also this is just personal experience but a lot of proxies will not let you get like blind or random stuff like the buttons they don't let you pick which one, some of them will only let you get it if you're getting the whole box.

For every 3000 yen spent in merch (including tax) you will get a random postcard from this set!! There are 15 to collect, they are NOT divided into halves of the event, you can get any of them at any time or all at once!! Sorry if this seems repetitive but I haven't been active on social media in yearsss

Is it true that there's a lot of lawlu hate on tiktok and Twitter? I'm so confused because there used to be so much love for the ship back in 2017/2018 from my perspective (Amino era).

The short answer: yes and no. Let me start by saying I'm not the best person to answer this since I purely consume on twitter. I made my personal twitter in 2007 like it's everyone I've ever known irl and has nothing to do with shipping or hobbies and I follow approx 0 accounts related to anime, manga, or lawlu. I just looked up lawlu a few times and browsed and suddenly it's my whole fucking timeline and there’s no going back and now I have a lawlu twitter (This makes me very happy).

So if anyone else has an opinion on this that is more in the community, please feel free to comment away. Otherwise, below are my observations.

First off, there IS a ton of love for the ship. Most of what I see is beautiful art (they got the nsfw ayo), memes, fanfics, and headcanons just like tumblr. There are tons of comments of people swooning over these posts, Lawlu IS one of the most popular OP ships after all.

There's just a vocal minority that are very against the concept of shipping and in that subset there are those who are very against Lawlu. There people out there that will literally list accounts to block that ship lawlu or write lawlu DNI in their bios. The same can be said for other ships, it's not just this one it’s any they deem a ‘pro ship’ (problematic ship) and Lawlu is generally considered one of these. Below as is an example:

The biggest issues I’ve seen with Lawlu are the following 1. luffy is aroace and cant be shipped period 2. law groomed luffy and the age gap is gross. IMO I think most of these people are just infantilizing Luffy as some goofy autistic kid that doesn't know what love and sex are when in reality he's very self-aware and happy does not equal stupid. Also he's 19 he’s not underage. He met Law twice when he was 17, one of which was saving his life as a doctor and Luffy was unconscious most of this time. Let's not forget Luffy's a war criminal kicking the asses of people 4x his age in a pirate world, age doesn't really work the same as irl.

BUTTT Not that any of this matters because you can ship whoever the fuck you what because guess what? It's ~fiction~. I could rant about how people can ship whatever the hell they want all day but I'll save my breath for now. (my opinion of course)

Also there are just mentally ill people who enjoy telling others to kys if you like something they like do. Lawlu shippers are just their chosen target demographic. Creators get foul messages in their inboxes, rude comments, just general hater behavior. Twitter is just a firey cesspool and all fandoms have 'fans' who do nothing but hate. We live in an age of negativity where being a hater is the cool thing to do.

HOWEVER, I see more people posting about why those people are wrong and stupid than the actual negative tweets but maybe that's because I actually support the ship and the algorithm sees that. Not sure how twitter works, nor do I want to know about that dumpster fire there's a reason I came over to tumblr.

As for tiktok, I don't really consume a lot of tiktok so I can't speak on it besides seeing cosplayers and cute animations/art. I'll leave that to the tiktok people to look into.

Sorry not sorry This is my first art for this fandom and I hope it’s not the last (I’m only new to it, because for me MK has always been perceived as a game with online battles and I only now found out that there is a plot😅🥲)

As for this art and my thoughts… I thought that the ending, where Shang Tsung fights with Liu Kang against the Titan Shang Tsung, would be canonical for my work. I like to think that these two warmed up a bit at the end of the game and their relationship, while still incredibly rocky, moved beyond the point of hatred (Especially on Liu's part) And after all the events, when Shang Tsung was imprisoned, Liu Kang thought that it would be nice to repay for saving the world and try to negotiate with Empress Mileena to give this snake to his Shaolin temple for re-education…. AND HERE STARTS MY HUGE FANFIC THAT I'VE BEEN WRITING FOR A WEEK ALREADY I don’t know if I will publish it somewhere… Because it is in my native Russian language and I know English too poorly to translate the literary text with all sorts of catchphrases and so on… But all my thoughts about this pairing are literally based on this fanfic (plus it mentions Ashrah’s relationship with Saizot and Johnny with Kenshi) But if we take the key moments, then Kitana Liu Kang died on the battlefield, and because of this he feels quite bad (which, of course, he will never say out loud), because he was alone for so long… and this the forced meeting cost him a great loss… And Shang Tsung is angry that he was kicked out of the outside world. He thinks that Liu Kang makes him a debtor for saving him from execution and because of this he does dirty tricks. He doesn’t want to engage with the monks at all and behaves rudely and aggressively. Because of this, Liu Kang has to devote too much time to him alone, since no one can influence the sorcerer. At first, for him it is a forced burden, and for Shang Tsung it is more like a prison supervision, but over time, they begin to get used to each other and their relationship becomes closer… Sorry for such a long text, I got carried away and took up a lot of your time. OK, so this is my first post EVER since I joined Tumblr like ten years ago. Always been a lurker, enjoying all of the wonderful things here, the gifs, fics, ships, art, all the knowledge and all the amazing heritage posts, but never posting and hardly reblogging, I don't know why, was always afraid I would make a mistake or reblogg incorrectly...

Anyway, the reason this is my first time posting is because THAT amazing moment that happened a week ago, and I've been losing my mind ever since, and unfortunately I have nobody to share this excitement with that will understand... So I had to get it out somehow, and here seems like the perfect place to do so.

I don't know if anybody will read this or pay it any attention, but never mind, I just have TO. GET. IT ALL. OUT!

So I've been a loyal fan of 9-1-1 this past six years, got hooked to these kind of first responders dramas, also Station 19 and then of course Lone Star. I fell in love with the writing, the drama and action, the characters of course, the emotional and moving stories, both of the regular cast and the people in the emergencies (am not afraid to admit that I cried more than a few times, especially when I was pregnant... woooh, that was a tough season for me).

Anyway, like everyone else, got invested in Buck's storyline and of course hopped on the Buddie train in season 2. And obviously there was something between them, and the fandom always clowned themselves that "in the next season SOMETHING is going to happen!" and I always wanted to believe it, and also fooled myself a few times but always was the cold harsh realist and realised it was not going to happen... But enjoyed the ride nonetheless, read amazing fics, saw wonderful fanart, read interesting breakdowns and analysis.

And then 704 happened and I'm not joking or exaggerating, my life changed!

Confirming that Buck is Bi was amazing! I'm ashamed to admit that I really thought it won't happen, EVER! So I still can't believe it actually happened (thank you soooo much ABC!) and like a lot of you, I've been on cloud nine this past week and can't wait for tomorrows episode (also not from the US), literally counting down the hours.

And look, I love Buddie, I really do, but I fell in love with TEVAN (my favourite one yet) 😍 and been OBSESSED with them this past week. Just from those few moments between them and what we barely know that is going to happen the next episode, I truly fell in love with them and really hope they make it as far as they can. I think its an amazing thing for Buck and also CANT. STOP. WATCHING THE KISS! The actors did an incredible job, especially Oliver, also with his spoken support of the storyline and his love for Buck. Such a KING! So this whole thing is huge.

And I have a one-year-old, my life is hectic with taking care of a little human being, a hubby who is also very busy, work, family and a million other things and this past year with a heavy heart I kinda neglected reading fics, and it was my main hobby, my escape, my one and constant thing in my LIFE since I was 12. I do read here and there, but not like I used to, reading hours and hours and into the night, multi chapters and long oneshots, in multiple fandoms, and now whenever I do get to read something once In a blue moon I'm not fully invested or enjoying it because either I'm tired or have something else more important to do. And unfortunately, eventually I noticed that I lost this fire, the passion in me and it left me sad and heartbroken...

And then something incredible happened. Ever since that earth-shattering kiss, the fire and passion came back! Holy shit! I've been reading and ENJOYING fics nonstop this whole week, I can't concentrate on work thinking about everything and reading in-between tasks, I use every single free minute I have to search new fics and scroll through the tags, I go to sleep late because I need to read just one more fic(!!!) even tough I have to wake up very early in the morning and I DON'T EVEN CARE. I'm thinking about it sooo much and imagining new scenarios in my head, and feeling giddy and happy, in a good mood a lot of the time, more optimistic, knowing I have a new and exciting place I can "escape" to, like I had in the past.

Its not that i'm not happy, I have an amazing son and a wonderful husband and I cherish every moment with them, but these are hard and difficult times and life can be hard and stressful and I'm a different kind of happy... So these past few days have been nourishment for my soul and my mood, it sounds so silly but its true! I'm feeling a bit like my old self and it's amazing.

Hi, it's me, Loyal.

I just want to say first and foremost, I really do love (parts of) the fandom and I'm not going anywhere.

I will, however, not be around as much. One, I'm about to enter an all day intensive treatment plan so I'll literally just be on in the evening. Two, as much as I'm going to keep writing and creating, I have no intention of interacting publicly with fandom as much as I have.

I can't. It's actually fucking insane that it's gotten to this point. I made tribute post and because I used lyrics from Dream's song, I got harassed. The people doing this, acting like this, thinking this way are insane.

So in case it's not clear: Based on my personal lived experience and some information that's come to light, I still enjoy Dream's content. You can approach me personally, off anon, if you want to know my reasoning. If you dislike me for this, that's fine. But I'm done trying to walk this fine line just so I don't get people threatening me, my kids, and my pets. Just so people stop sending me the city I live in, so they stop digging up twelve year old tweets, so they stop calling me slurs and suicide baiting me.

That's absolutely insane. It's horrible. It's disgusting and I was honestly just sitting here, taking it, because I'm terrified of upsetting people and losing friends if I say 'yeah, I'm excited for a new manhunt and I also this song helped me and my kids process my grief'. And the worst part is, it's not an unfounded fear. People have done the most vile shit to me. People I thought were friends jumped on me instead of those harassing me.

I just want to post about Techno and c!Rivals duo and not worry about whether or not this post is going to get me hate. I don't want to worry about how random discord servers are talking about me.

Because that's fucking batshit. Not the worrying, but what these people are doing and I'm tired of letting this effect me. I have enough going on in my personal life. My partner of 15 years almost died. We almost lost our house. I should be able to come online and post about the silly minecraft guys I like and their RP and lore without censoring myself out of fear of literally being doxxed and cyber stalked. I should be able to talk about the racism that effects me without being afraid people will make it about cc drama or calling me slurs or erasing my identity as an Ojibwe person.

The people doing this are the problem. It hurts that so many people are part of this, it really does. But I can't keep letting it get to me. I've always done my best to be kind. I haven't been perfect, especially not lately, because all this hate and stress has gotten to me. I've lashed out. I shouldn't have.

And I shouldn't have had to deal with all that shit in the first place. I hope no one else does. It's terrifying and draining and I'm done.

So I intend to post the things I enjoy, I intend to reblog my friends' art, write the Emerald duo and Rivals duo fics I want to. I want to post about the Syndicate and the new manhunt when it comes out. That's what I'm going to do.

So first thank you for your artwork, but also cause you started me on ROTTMNT fandom and helped me find so many amazing artists, writers, AU's etc.

Your art is amazing and depictions of all the turtles and Casey seem so in character in the same time being perfectly indulgend fluff/angst mix.

Your posts about drawing and learning more about language actually motivated me to going back to drawing first time since middle school and not to pressure myself to much so thank you again!

- Unprofessionally, I've been drawing literally my whole life. I always enjoyed drawing and did it almost every day if I could. But I was a very bad student and didn't want to learn anything at all, so my drawings were pretty ugly.

I started actually studying constructively four years ago and two years ago I started working professionally.

- No. Don't have ko-fi or Patreon or anything. I don't know if it makes sense for me to start one, since I don't want to give any special treatment for the money. I want all the people to be able to get everything I do at all times. Like..equally. And if everything I do is available to everyone as it is, why would anyone pay for it?

- Well, I have something in my mind about Raph. I can't say in advance because I improvise 90 percent of this comic and usually the plot twists are sudden even for myself. But I definitely want to delve into Raph's character development and backstory

My favorite fanfic about Future Raph right now is "Raph (Waits) Alone by uncouth_peasant" I think this fandom is sorely lacking stories with him that delve a little more into his life than his death.

Feeling Weird About Promoting Stories

Anonymous asked: How do I get over being ashamed to promote my story more? While I definitely write for myself, I like a bit of validation as well but I'm too shy and feel a bit...cheap? There's a person in my writing community who goes around begging people to read their stuff. They keep track up to where you've left comments, and then asks why haven't you commented on their other chapters. They also passive aggressively say nobody likes their stuff enough to leave comments and other things to guilt people into guilt reading their stuff. I've been encouraged by friends to market my stories more, but I just can't bring myself to do it because I feel like I'm in the same boat as this person.

First, I want to be clear that what this person (in your writing community) is doing isn't promoting themselves. It's nagging and badgering, and if they ever try that as a fiction writer, they'll have a very short career.

What they're doing is like hitting someone over the head repeatedly with a pillow. Promoting your story is like standing there holding a sign that shows information about your story. You're not asking anyone to read your story. You're not badgering them by appealing to their sympathy or sense of guilt. You're literally just saying, "Here's my story..." It's up to them whether or not they want to check it out.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with or shameful about promoting your work/product. If there was, we wouldn't have TV commercials, print ads, movie trailers, billboards, etc. The key is to do it in a way that doesn't annoy or badger your potential "customer." When promoting books and stories, that means doing it in a way that's quick, interesting to the reader, and not doing it so frequently that they get sick of hearing from you.

Many fan-fiction writers have a social media account associated with their writing which they can use to help drive traffic to their stories. So, for example, an Instagram, Tumblr or Facebook page. The link to this social media would also be shared at the bottom of each story to give fans a place to stay updated on your writing.

A promotional post would look like...

1 - A text post with a little teaser or hook:

Hi, everyone! I just updated Two Balls of Yarn over at AO3. Let's just say this is the chapter where everything goes sideways. You can check it out here: [link to story on AO3, username, or whatever]

2 - A graphic: for example, a book cover for your story, a mood board or aesthetic, a gif set, or story art, along with a caption that says something along the lines of what's up above in #1. Alternatively, it could say something like: Two Balls of Yarn, updated 9/3/23, available here...

If you're have a story in progress that you're posting every week or so, you would do such a promo post every time you update. However, once every few days or so, you might also choose to promo an older story. Depending on the social media platform, you may also want to do other types of posts occasionally, such as episode reviews (if for a TV show), reblogs of fan-art or gif sets related to the fandom, etc. You might even share links to other writers' stories that you really enjoyed.

Also, and this is SO important... 90% of success when promoting on social media is reciprocal engagement. In other words, if you want people to read, like, and comment on your stories, you need to read, like, and comment on other people's stories.

In the SMRPG remake, Geno is still around for the postgame fights. Here's a simple and awesome way they could explain that.

(I SO hope they do something even loosely resembling this. I have so many feelings, I made gifs about it.)

Up to this point, we know that there'll be post-game content where you get to fight bosses over again. And look, our blue guy, there he still is!

From this, it's safe to assume that in the remake, after Geno leaves to repair the Star Road, he turns right around and comes back.

Which is KIND OF A BIG DEAL. Because in the original game, it's heavily implied that for all practical purposes, he's certain this goodbye will be forever.

For some time, I've had a little theory. I kind of desperately hope for some version of it to be part of the remake. Here it is:

Due to the events of SMRPG, ♡♪!? gets a merit promotion. Maybe, at the beginning of the story, he's not a full-blown Star Spirit (or whatever verbiage). But - as the one little star guardian valiant and capable enough to go down to the world to help save the entire Star Road - now he's become one!

And that comes with more freedom. Just imagine him crashing back down to Earth like "Yo GUESS WHAT PEOPLE, now I'm a STAR SPIRIT (or etc.) and I set my own schedule!" He can go back and see his friends! It's amazing!

And it fits exactly! With not a single caveat I can think of!

IN FACT, you might even say it's supported by a little discrepancy in some 27-year-old pixel art:

Remember the difference between Geno's first appearance and his last? He goes from this tiny lil twinkle guy... to a much bigger 5-pointed star. This is never explained....

... But to me, it seems plausible that the little star's gotten stronger and grown! 💙

In the remake trailer, because I'm the kind of dweeb who does this, I went frame by frame trying to spot any telling differences -

(^ the scene where he's possessing the doll - this could just be a homage to the little twinkle he looks like in the original. even if that's all, I love the devs for it)

(more five-pointy? maybe? rev, did you just superimpose all the frames where Geno looks most five-pointy just so you could not quite prove anything? ABSOLUTELY)

Make of that what you will; all I can say so far is that we only see him kind of blobby. But what I'm secretly hoping is, maybe that's on purpose, so they can make it clearer in the game for the purpose of some big reveal like this. 😀

Anyway...

Wouldn't this be such a fitting and meaningful thing for Geno's character arc? I know one of the complaints among people who consider Geno overrated is that he doesn't really have an arc. Of course, his fans (myself included) either aren't bothered by that, or straight-up disagree, since he's central to the entire plot and goal of the game, and also literally the Mario universe equivalent of an angel, and maybe he was so reserved because he was trying so hard not to get attached even though we all know he totally did,

and also if he got an arc anywhere near Mallow's he'd be so compelling that he'd basically be the main character and they'd have to call it Super Geno RPG BUT ANYWAY,

I can't fully express, no matter how long I make this post, how much I hope they take a narrative route like this. It would be the actual best. My nerdy little heart would never be the same.

Summary: it's has been almost a year and in that time. Noah and Mirage have gained feelings for one another. Mirage makes known his feelings and has implied them by dropping many hints. Noah on the other hand doesn't always take the advancement of mirage. But would love to be with the mech. However, is a fear of what may happens if he is miss reading things right.But Mirage is determined to be by Noah’s side. But is Noah ready to take this leap of faith like the ones before? And start something more than the friendship they possess.

Mirage was annoyed. Which was odd cause, he did most of the annoying toward Noah. Not the other way around.

Why was Mirage annoyed with Noah? Well, it was because of his human companion. Has recently been avoiding him a lot lately. But most of the time they are in the same place with the same people. And Noah somehow still finds any way to avoid him. For example, he would spend more time with work in the garage fixing other people's things. And on missions with the Gi.Joe agents and the Autobot, Along with spending time with Noah's family. Yet somehow even spending time with the same people, in the same space. The small human in some way managed to keep his distance from Mirage.

It has been at least a year. Since, the almost invasion of Unicron and fought against the terrcons. Since then they had gotten close. Not as close as Mirage would have liked. But they had grown their relationship. To have an opportunity to be more, Than friends more the boys. At least that is what Mirage thought.

Until his so-called best ‘friend’ started avoiding him like the damen Cosmic Rust. He misses spending time with his human.

He has noticed a change between himself and the other. Going from getting closer to one another.To feel like strangers again. It was the most annoying thing in Mirage's life.

Usually, the two of them chat on their nightly drives. And chat as in Mirage flirting with Noah. And Noah tries to not get flustered along with trying to talk about something else, and sometimes Noah throws back a bit of his charm.

It has been a few weeks since they have been on a is acceptable nightly Drive whether they were talking or not.

He wants to be more for Noah than just to be his friend. More than best friend even. He wants more of his attention and his time. And wants to do the same for Noah and so much more. The mech gladly do so much more if the small human asked him so.

Don't give Mirage wrong he loves to talk, but with Noah it's different. A lot of things were different whit, Noah, not only because them being from two different worlds. Literally. But he felt comply differently with Noah than any other person.

Mainly more different from any topical crash that Mirage has ever had.

Noah was fixing a neighbor's car that was brought in. Earlier, this morning, and has yet to be removed from the task. Said, a neighbor was being a bit handy and too close to Noah. When bringing in her car. Mirage was fighting to keep his engine from growling loudly. Especially when she gave her opinion of Mirage's alt mode. Now that in general would be the thing to get to him. But no it was the way she was interacting. mostly her just flirting with Noah.

Noah didn't seem to mind or even notice that factor. But the silver mech did. That was another reason why he was annoyed with the small human.

Mirage was in his root mode. On his side of the shared garage arms crossed and pouting. watch Noah working on his talent. Putting more of his weight against the wall to meet it. Changing his posture to a different one of his more relaxed ones.

“Bud, you need to give that handsome head of yours a break,” Mirage suggested

Noah didn't turn his attention from the car he was working on.

“Not now I’m basically almost finished with this car.”

Mirage caught Noah's tone sounding slightly...vex.Oh, now this gave a reason to get Noah out. And the silver mech just how. “Come on sweetheart you and I both need to get out of this garage. Also, you have been working non-stop since this morning and it's almost midnight.”

Noah knew Mirages was right it's has been a while since they'd been on night drives. He understood been avoiding his friend for a while but he had a reason. He knows that the silver Bot had a point. Along with being right he and Mirage had to get out of the garage at some point. Also having to stop avoiding the mech, and talk to him eventually about it too.

Mirage always found a way for him not to say no to him. Knowing the mech also needs to get out, Noah did indeed very much need a break right now.

Slumping forward slightly smiling, signing turning to meet Mirage's gaze. “Let me get my jacket and clean up real quick k.”Fighting a smile as wide as Mirage was.

The drive was silent. Silents that they knew had to be broken at some point

But something played in the back of his mind even now. Something like a lack of certainty, or doubt. The Porshe had something also on his mind and knew something was going on in Noah’s head also. And he wanted to get down to it and find out if it was maybe the reason why Noah was avoiding him too.

“Hey, sweetheart is there something on your mind you want to talk about, don't lie to me.” It was stated as more of a statement than a question.

Mirage had a way that made Noah's heart flutter whenever called him a pet name especially when saying it in such a charming tone.

Noah knew he can not dodge it and he didn't want to lie about it. It made his stomach churn. Just thinking about it. Mirage could sense he needs a min and perhaps even give him a slight push too.

“How about I go first...hm, is that ok with you bud.”

“Ok, yeah...sure,” Noah answered. he don't let it show, but he could help but feel his flutter with hope. Still, Noah had doubts.

They stopped at a secluded Cliff looking towards the outskirts of the city. Noah jumped out. So, Mirage could change back to his root mode. Sitting down far from the edge. Then place the small human in his lap. So they would meet each other gaze. Smirking at the sight of the flustered look on Noah. Also making sure to place one of his arms around his waist mostly to keep Noah from falling...or escaping.

“I like you, no, that's not right Noah I love you, and have been wanting to tell you for such a long time but...if you don't want me then anything more than friends. We will, I will forget ever had this conversation...alright.” Mirage feels a weight lifted from his shoulders. But he knows Noah feels the same but if he tells him that he just wants to be friends and doesn't have the same. Then that, that. However, the look on Noah’s said that Mirage was mostly right about Noah having the same feelings. Though there was something else. That looked like... doubt.

Noah was not sure if this was a dream or not. Mirage love...him.

"You love me?"

"Yes, you there no one else here. Or that I love like you."Bring his servo to place toward Noah's head. Having a Smile worth a million Watts. Look at him like he was the most precious thing in his life.

Noah still has a hard time believing every. Why him? "But why me?"

"What do mean by why you? Noah why not you!?" Mirage kind of felt offended by that statement. What did he not make obvious that he had feelings for Noah? He was almost taken aback. Still grinning but had a slight hint of concern.

Noah still struggling to get that Mirage means every word he was saying. He loves Noah. Out of anyone he chose him. He felt his heart for flutter just at the thought but still had the same thought playing in the back of his head.

"Mirage you can have anyone else in the world hell even in the Univers. I am just some guy. In a world that doesn't even comprehend a relationship that we may have. You can do so much better than me." He paused looking back at Mirage noticing a different expression. He's heard stories from him and the other Autobots about them being able to be in the same-sex relationship on Cybertron and it saw as the norm. But on Earth is different not everyone can comprehend a relationship ,like that let alone one with both a human and a Cybertronian both presented as male.

Noah lowered his head look down. He felt like he wanted to scream and cry. But Mirage was having nuh of that. Left his head, bringing him close than ever before. Still have that amazing smile that Noah had always loved.

Noah couldn't help but lean into the touch.

"I love you, I want you, and only you. Because no one likes you. I don't want better when I already have the best. You are amazing and when we are together. I don't feel like that around anyone else only you. And when we are together we're both even more awesome. I don't want anyone else. I want you and only you. I don't care what others have to say about it. And if my sappy speech doesn't convince you otherwise yes. Guss I just going to have to show you." If Mirage had to put in neon signs no one understand that .he gladly did whatever but there is no one like no one that got with his rhythm so fast no one sees ever felt this. particular way until he met Noah.

Noah felt almost beat out of his chest. This was real and Mirage meant every word. He closed the space between his and Mirage's lips.

Mirage doesn't hesitate to start moving his lip plate in sync with Noah's lips.

Then parted from each other. Mirage had to fight not to chase Noah's lip to reconnect them back together.

Then Noah spoke, "Are you sure it's me you want?" He just to make sure one more time that this was real and that this was actually.

"Noah yes, I'm sure you are my boy. My best friend. You made me whole. Fuck you have been inside me. Noah no joke I love you, and have no intention of letting you go." Resting his head lightly on top of Noah's bringing their head foreheads together.

Noah gave a slight giggle "I love you too much. Rj"

"Good, Oh and Noah"

"Yes, mi amor."

Ok, That did something to Mirage's Spark.

"Don't ever purposely try avoiding me ever again trust me you will regret it next time"

Noah couldn't help to suppress his laugh. But did promise he would never do that again.

When did you start playing Choices? What was the first book you played?

I started playing mid 2017, I think. I played the flagship books (TF, TCaTF, MW), and def preferred TF at the time.

When and why did you join Choices fandom?

I joined the Tumblr fandom in 2017, around the time of the TRR finale. Mostly because the Liam hate at the time was intense and I wanted to write metas about why Liam was, in fact, not “a dick who betrayed the MC” 😂

I did have a Tumblr account before that (made it in 2015 to follow Bollywood film posts), but never actually used it.

How did you pick your blog name?

I was lazy af so it was my middle name plus my birth year haha

Pull up the first post in your archive, and tell us about it! 

I started out with a couple reblogs, but my first actual post was about the romance points mechanism in TRR1. There was a point in the middle of the book where one nice word to Drake would give you an automatic romance point, and I was like, “Huh??? Either treat him like shit or risk him catching feels for me? Is that how it is???”. Thankfully, that stopped after two chapters. After that, I did an essay series analyzing Liam’s actions in the finale called “The Crown, The King and The Flame.” Romance Points Post The Crown and the Flame

How long have you been writing fanfiction?

Almost 6 years now! I started doing Liam fics around the beginning of TRR2.

What is your favorite Choices book, and what is your favorite Choices book to write about?

I’m the most invested in TRR and PM, but between the two I’d probably say PM is my fave book overall. But yeah, my favourite book to write about would be TRR, because Liam, Hana and Kiara are such fantastic characters to write about! (Hayden and Sloane, too, but I’m still in the process of getting comfortable writing them).

Share the first fanfic you wrote with us. Do you still like it, or would you change it if you were writing it today?

It was Keychains, my two part fic series featuring my MC and Liam. It was set around the time the MC was waiting in the airport in TRR2, just before Maxwell and Bertrand intervene. It had a follow up with Liam’s PoV too.

I really like it. It included some really good hc’s I made at the time, like Esther buying an apple keychain to represent Cordonia at the same time, and Liam calling her his wife in Greek and Esther not realizing what the phrase meant. I thought the pathos and slight humour was quite well-done. I can’t think of much I would want to change in the story.

What is your favorite fic that you’ve written?

As a series – Eleanor’s Kitchen! It’s ongoing, and it’s a joy to write. I love exploring food from a cultural lens, and since Cordonia was a fictional country, I could explore a variety of ethnicities and food cultures. Liam had a literal diamond scene that explored gastrodiplomacy, and I wanted to explore his childhood and Eleanor’s friendships too.

Individually – I would say my Kiara fic “An Ear to the Ground”. Kiara is a delightful character and exploring the social season through her eyes was a real journey! I also love “The Stars (Are Out Tonight)” which explores the early days of the Sloane & Hayden friendship. I used asterisms and constellations to symbolize moments in their friendship.

Do you have a fic that you didn’t expect to be well received, but it was? What about one you expected to be but found could use a little more love?

Cordonian Waltz was definitely a surprise in terms of reception!! It was written in the style of headcanons I was seeing at the time, and I wrote it in second person. It became my most widely-read fanfic very fast, and every once in a while it would experience a major surge in readership. I enjoyed writing it and thought it was a lovely, romantic piece, but I really wasn’t expecting it to finally have 250+ reblogs out of it, and people coming and telling me this was the fic that got them into Liam x MC in the first place. I find that deeply gratifying 😍

There’s a lot of fics that I feel need more engagement and appreciation, but I can understand that those characters also don’t exactly get much of an audience. My entire PM set comes under this category; they typically get low readership. I think my Hana and Kiara fics too could do with more of an audience.

@twinkleallnight once told me that when she reads my stuff, she usually takes a long time just to ruminate on the story, and I like to believe that often, that’s why the engagement isn’t always immediate. Which I like too!! I like that some of my stuff can make people stop and think, and I like to believe that over time, the work will have its own impact.

If you could write only angst, fluff, or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?

Probably fluff but with a lot of observation and sometimes somber reflections. I’m not that great with angst…and I’ve never actually tried smut? But maybe one day 😄

Do you ever recognize yourself in any of your MCs or in your writing?

Yes! Some of my MCs are v different from me but I always incorporate something from my life experiences in them. Like Esther taking photos of the sunset or Basil not being science oriented but still having an interest in space.

Character wise I find I put a lot of myself into a lot of the characters I write. Notably, Liam, Hana, Kiara, certain Haydens and Sloane. Liam’s love for learning, different aspects of Hana and Kiara’s experiences as queer women, Sloane’s experiences as a neurodivergent woman, and especially my Scholar!Hayden’s (Iris) observations. I tend to incorporate a lot of my feelings and experiences more into certain canonical characters than in MCs.

What element of writing do you struggle with most?

Dialogue, I think. Especially when it’s a character I don’t relate to that much. But also sometimes when it’s a character I love but am only starting to write because then I really overthink it!

Do you have any neglected work you really want to finish?

Hmm…probably neglected wouldn’t be the word I’d use…I just take a very long time to kickstart them 😂

But yeah, definitely my Petals and Thornes series? That’s the fic series I’m doing for Hana x Kiara, that is supposed to explore TRR2 and 3 from their PoV (with significant changes). So far I’ve only been able to do some one-shots and hcs in that universe, but I do want to start the actual series soon!

I have some essay series’ I’d love to work on too! My Hana essay series which has two essays left, The Hayden Young Project, and a possible series on the alternative Lis of TRR!

Petals and Thornes Hana Lee: A Study in Erasure

If someone you know in real life (who isn’t involved in fandoms) asked to read your work, would you let them? If yes, what would you recommend they read first?

Hmm. A few people have asked me, actually, and while I’m not fully opposed to showing them I’ll probably take some time before I do show my work. I’ll probably overthink how much will be understandable to a reader who doesn’t have the context of the source, and what they may not understand.

What to show them first? I’m not sure! Maybe the smaller ones first, like Cordonian Waltz. Or my RCD fic Snowstorms, because it doesn’t have more than 2-3 canon characters featuring and I do talk a little about being a closeted queer teen figuring out their sexuality through cinema, which is an overall relatable experience to some! Snowstorms

Are there any writers (published authors and/or fanfic writers) who influenced your writing?

In my early years I used to emulate Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni’s style. Much of her work that I read as a teen was pretty flowery, sometimes bordering on purple prose, and I really loved that style and tried to go that way. But now I think a variety of writers from different genres inform my writing. In terms of published authors, Jhumpa Lahiri, Helen Hoang, and non-fiction ones like Rukmini Pande, Ruby Hammad and Mikki Kendall.

In Choices fic, @callmetippytumbles for sure – a lot of the questions she was tackling with her MC in her Home series served as inspiration for some of the ideas I’ve been having in mind for Petals and Thornes. @thefirstcourtesan is a great writing buddy to have, too, and she has a knack for saying a lot in very few words! There’s also my amazing group of friends (shoutout to @cassiopeiacorvus, @thecapturedafrique, @mand-delemonde, and @beyonceswigs, as well as @twinkleallnight , @dcbbw @mariemarieohcontrary , @choicesfrog, @grapecaseschoices and @ohsnapitzlovehacker…the discussions are so good and leave some much to think about afterward 💖💖). All these discussions ALWAYS fuel my ideas and make me think out of the box.

I’ve also recently started writing polyamorous characters and relationships, and @angelasscribbles stories and resources have been such a great help in navigating that!

Which one of your stories would you most like to see as a movie/series?

Haha! I’ve not even started the proper series yet but I think Petals and Thornes? But besides that maybe Eleanor’s Kitchen may work as a series idk 😄

Do you write original fiction?

I do try! I’ve done a few short stories but before I started fanfic, I did a lot of spoken word poetry and that was fun.

What other hobbies do you have?

Reading, watching video essays, spending months on hyperfixations 😂 and a little cooking. My kid’s gotten into craft recently and has succeeded in taking me down that rabbit hole too haha.

I used to be into making fruit wines but have gotten inconsistent with that over the years.

A story my mum often tells about how I got into writing, began with some good old-fashioned sibling rivalry. Apparently as a child I was notorious for writing things on the walls of our house. One day my older brother got a hardbound royal-blue covered notebook to write in, with gold lettering on the cover…and I got instantly jealous that I didn’t get one (I was 6 or 7 and already fond of telling stories). He’s actually kinda good when he tries???

Usually he just does it to be goofy but he genuinely wanted to show off a bit for you

“You know what would be even better? Both of us dancing together!”

It would definitely be fun-

But unfortunately you have no clue how to dance

You try to play it off as just wanting to watch him dance more or being tired

But Leo keeps trying.

Realizes from your body language and expression that you’re embarrassed

Will stop dancing immediately and ask what’s wrong

That’s when you admit that you don’t know how to dance

Leo will laugh a bit at first

Not at you ofc, he just thinks you’re cute

“Who said anything about needing to know how to dance, to dance?”

He’ll grab your hands and start moving to the beat with you

Once you’re moving he’ll let go of your hands and step back-

Only to pull out the most goofy moves he knows

Leo does.

He literally does those fortnight dances like his life is depending on it

Gives you the biggest grin when you laugh at his silly moves.

“See? You don’t need to know how to “dance” to have fun dancing!”

You two end up dancing along “horribly” to music the rest of the night

Both of you have the time of your lives

His brothers can hear y’all laughing from their rooms

Later offers to teach you a few moves if you want,

But still loves to just dance goofily with you to this day.

You can’t dance to save your life.

Donnie won’t realize at first that you’re not dancing with him

But after a few moments he realizes you still haven’t moved from the labs entrance

In fact, you’ve been slowly making your way out the lab instead.

He literally slides over to you

“Ah, whatever is the matter? Is the music too loud? Or maybe it’s not your taste? I can change it to any song you’d like-“

He doesn’t pick up on your embarrassment

Instead, he’s going on and on trying to find out what’s wrong

Ironically, he’s so focused on asking what’s wrong and trying to fix whatever it may be to notice your very obvious embarrassment

You eventually blurt out that you don’t know how to dance

He’ll stop mid-sentence and look at you for a moment to make sure you’re not joking.

Lowers the music and puts one hand on your shoulder

“Well never fear- I can teach you the art of ✨dance✨.”

Are there actual sparkles around his head or is that just a trick of light???

He’ll pull you to the middle of his lab and start off with a few easy moves with you

He actually enjoys teaching you how to dance and doesn’t mind doing it again

If you’re up to it, he’s absolutely down to teach you more

You two have one day a week where you both work on dancing

After practice, Donnie will pull you in to dance together just for fun

You don’t have to be perfect or even good,

He just enjoys spending time with you

As long as you feel comfortable and are having fun-

He’s happy :3

I’m a firm believer in break dancing Mikey

He loves to spin on his shell as fast as he can

He’s also got a few smooth moves of his own

Just ask Hypno-potamus-

He also just likes to move and jump to the beat

He was dancing in the kitchen when you walked in-

Just moving to the beat happily

He noticed you after doing a spin and invited you to join him

“S/o! Wanna dance with me?”

Does this little shimmy at you

It’s adorable-

But you don’t know how to dance

You just decline and make up some excuse of being tired-

But immediately end up telling the truth after seeing Mikey’s sad puppy face

Mikey will pause for a second after you tell him before the biggest grin spreads across his face

“I have an idea!”

He grabs your hand and runs to the gaming room with you

“Don’t know how to dance? Well, we have just the game to teach you!”

He ends up bringing you to the dance arcade game

You two start off doing fun, easy levels

Whether or not you’re good at the game-

You both end up laughing and enjoying yourselves

The game actually gives you a good starting point to learn some moves

If you want, Mikey would absolutely love to teach you a few moves of his own!

He always makes sure that you enjoy learning the moves

If you ever get frustrated, he’ll stop and opt to take a break

Maybe paint or bake with you!

He loves to pull you into a slow dance while baking

Nothing fancy, just swaying together

He gets the dorkiest grin on his face

“I love you so much.”

Pure romantic at heart

His favorite place to dance with you is in the kitchen

Raph knows how to bust a few moves

But he’s not too great with anything fancy.

Usually it’s moves he learned with his brothers

But when one of his favorite songs comes on-

He just has to move around!

And to make things even better?

You were there, leaning against the wall watching him dance with a smile

“Hey, S/O- wanna dance with me?”

He holds his hand out to you with the biggest smile on his face

You of course, panic a bit and decline

You can’t dance at all

And you don’t want Raph to know that.

Raph gets a bit hurt at your immediate decline

And slightly self conscious

Did you not like his dancing?

Well sure it’s not great, but surely it’s not that bad

Or maybe you just didn’t want to dance with him, period?

He hoped not

He really hoped not.

You could see his slowly growing panic on his face

And immediately jump to try to reassure him

Giving excuses of being tired, or your knee hurting-

Anything to reassure him that he’s not the problem

Raph quickly realizes and recognizes your own panic and increasingly odd excuses

Who says they can’t dance because a pigeon looked at them wrong earlier?

Figures out pretty fast that you’re embarrassed and trying hard not to dance

He’ll grab your hands gently and bend down to your level

“Is everything okay?”

He’s so concerned, and his voice is so soft

Does his best to comfort you

Your heart melts.

You cave in and tell him about your nonexistent dance moves

And your embarrassment over it

Raph does this little “aww” and pulls you in for a hug

“Well, I can’t really dance either so don’t worry about it, S/o!”

Instead of busting any fancy moves,

He opts to just sway with you to the music

Occasionally twirls you around

Very soft and sweet with you

He also leans down a lot to cover your face in quick kisses

Loves the smile and laugh you do when he does that

Just wants you to feel happy and relaxed with him
