Then do you have a problem with most of the age gaps in Taylor's relationships? Maybe except her and Taylor Lautner and her with both Joe's ahah
Cause the rest are all pretty big gaps..
If you’re asking me about Connor Kennedy and Harry - which is what I’m p sure this is code for - no I do not think a high school senior and college student equivalent is weird. At all. You’re in the same stage of life especially when you’re in the spotlight and especially when the older one is the girl, who had just been traumatized by 2 older men back to back. Again, wrong person to pick this fight with and I have literally 0 patience for the “Taylor was a predator” crowd

yall are about to piss me off by not having any PASSING basic knowledge of the way the u.s. military manipulates its recruits into joining by typing up one of your uninformed, unresearched, unempathetic, individualistic, unbelievably annoying posts about how 100% of the people in the military ended up there because they just Love America So Damn Much! they're extremely mature and informed at time of recruitment, they can totally leave anytime they want, they totally had tons of other avenues in life they could've taken, there was no rush at all to get income as fast as possible, and everyone in the military also totally is part of the combat divisions and personally enjoys being IN the military very much, big believers of violence. everyone in the military is shooting guns all day, that's how that works. they LOVE BLOODSHED.
also I love the "amewicans haha" twang to this type of shit because you're actually TOTALLY stealing our Thing, which is turning systemic issues into Individual Issues. Instead of talking about the powers that be, it's so Personal Choice up in here. It's, "well you shouldn't have done it then. I totally wouldn't because I know better." you don't wanna talk about the military industrial complex as a whole, and you don't want to talk about recruiters, you just want to pin the blame on Specific Individual People one-by-one, as if they're responsible for the system that they're being ground up in. someone was in the military? bad person, no matter what. it's easier to believe that, I guess, than to acknowledge that Normal People (with high school educations) are manipulated and incentivized into joining a system that is Bad. at like age 18. but yeah no that 18 year old should have just been smarter lol haha
anyway here are some screenshots for no particular reason
side note this reply of someone going "umm just get loans and go into a high paying field it's easy XD" as a direct response to someone trying to explain how most americans joining the military are being funneled in that direction out of a need for money.
and another person who Decided that americans join the military just CLENCHING their teeth thinking of other people, and not thinking completely selfishly about their own selves and their own income/housing/healthcare.

someone on twitter was like what would an 18 year old and 14 year old have in common. and when given examples of how that could be a high school senior and freshman who are like in the same groups they went well i meant dating. there has got to be a discussion about the difference between predatory behavior and friendships because teenagers these days legit can not tell the difference and that's so dangerous

(the point of the video is that it is, in fact, that weird)
i guess i am old and decrepit now bc i don’t see what’s wrong with this. 15 yos and 17 yos are in the same classes, sports teams, friend groups, etc. the morality of younger gen z people is fascinating

I feel your disbelief at being done with highschool……
except for I’m just starting highschool in a couple months.
(i meant to answer this earlier i’m so sorry)
but anyway dude take it in it’ll go so much faster than you realize
also, speaking from my experiences and all of my friend’s experiences (we’re american so this may be different in some places), high school is such a load off. ITS SO MUCH EASIER.
honest to god middle school (7-8th grade) was the worst time of my life. too much homework, everyone was mean, i was having my own crises trying to figure myself out (spoiler alert im gay) without knowing everyone else was going through the same crises, and i met the most toxic and awful people in my life.
high school is so much better cause everyone stops caring so much about every little thing. teachers stop caring in high school. everyone chills out. pda is only bad for like the first year then it dies down. people mind there own business and teachers are easier to talk to. if anyone has ever said “oh just you wait till you get to highschool. they expect all your work on time and make you do six essays a week and blah blah blah” they were lying to you. highschool is chill. as long as youre nice to your teachers and don’t skip classes and whatnot they’ll let you do whatever. i was nice to my english teacher and he let me turn in like three tests literal months late. from home. cause he trusted me not to cheat.
so yeah it’s cool. join clubs and make friends. don’t take any actual classes (i only did art and music like all day so i have no mathematical or historical knowledge). have fun 👍

this year should be big to me but feels exactly the same because I started college at 15. I didn't get to go to junior or senior prom, I didn't have a graduation ceremony, and I'm continuing my education at the exact same place I've been attending for years

Even when I was a freshman myself, I always thought it was gross when seniors dated freshman, but now that I'm finally a senior I can safely say that it is STILL gross. I can't even imagine dating a 14 year old. That is a literal child barely out of middle school. I don't know why such a big age gap is so normalized and socially acceptable.

tbh a time skip is gonna be so weird. every time I think of the kids I picture them as they were in s3 and it’s gonna be weird to actually go “oh. they’re like. actually adults now?” (I guess depending on how big the skip is) just like. those are my kids. what do u mean they aren’t forever 12
