Being an Arab, she practices Hijab and we admire her love for neutral colors that she is able to pair with almost every kind of outfit. She adds her personal touch to each look by picking out gorgeous pieces of accessories like sunglasses, handbags, and footwear. Hafsa is a motivational Muslim mom based in Chicago who claims to help moms be happy with themselves and their bodies. I’ve been trying to eat clean for over a year now. I have fallen off the healthy wagon a lot. I struggle to eat clean regularly but over time I’ve learned that cooking my own food helps me minimize the bad stuff I put inside my body. DUH right?

I mean I’ve always known that but moving into my own place really motivated me to learn how to cook. I actually used to hate cooking a year ago. Now I actually like cooking as long as I don’t have to cook everyday. 😊 Learning how to meal prep breakfast, lunches and dinners for work throughout the week changed my life so much.

This is my oven roasted thyme chicken, sweet potatoes and carrots with a side of brown rice. I topped it with cucumber, spinach, tomato salad and my homemade cilantro sauce. Here’s to eating clean!!

P.S. I couldn’t finish this huge lunch. 😅
