things from The Halloween Update that are concerning me more than i already am about Eddie:

his Frankenstein's Monster costume turning his face (and hands. ha, hands, like the hands on a-) half yellow half blue/purple like the clocks & Sally's door. that's fucking me up a little ngl

Eddie tacks "A bit of a moral conundrum-" onto his description of Frankenstein's Monster, who he's costumed as. which seems out of place with the rest of his description. he could've said "bolts" or "white streak in his hair" or another physical trait. nope. Moral Conundrum (one could also describe his costume as "two-faced"...). and the fact that he's dressed specifically as someone who was "brought back from the dead" makes me 👁️👁️. kinda reminds me of a certain set of artworks from Clown's tumblr a while back...

Eddie, despite his whole schtick being "bad memory", was the only one to accurately recognize Sally's costume as pedrolino from the Commedia dell'arte. could be a little 'inside joke', might be something else. i suspect it's something else due to his... ah... Everything.

Oh you're not dumb, don't worry! It really is a little confusing because we haven't talked about who they or we are in a very long time. I'm going to talk a lot here so you have all the context you might need! If it''s too long,, the TL;DR above is the gist of it.

Kris T and Kris P are TWO Kris introjects/fictives of Kris Dreemurr from Deltarune in our system.

Originally we just had Kris T who split in Dec 2018, and then when Chapter 2 came out, Kris P came into our system after that. Of course at first, Kris T. was just "Kris", but since we had a double now, we had to figure out how to differentiate between the two. We knew another Kris fictive from a different system at this time who was nicknamed P. Kris by Susie in our system, and susie wanted to emphasize who she was talking about.

SO. As a small nod to that, everyone decided to nickname Kris P as Kris P, as an inverse of P. Kris.

Besides being Kris introjects/fictives though, they also look different! I made some new drawings to try and showcase their differences if that helps :3?

Their dark world forms also look different. Kris T's is simpler, with a shiny soft cape, while Kris P's is more complicated with a hooded cape, which is also described as "very comfortable"

yknow i enjoy tedependent as much as the next guy, and i get the temptation, i truly do, but i think implying or outright saying trent imploded his career and told the truth about giving up his source only or mainly because he had romantic feelings for ted takes away from what actually happened there?? like. him being willing to throw away his career and in such a spectacular way (not just quitting but actually probably fucking his chances of working further as a journalist at all, i gather) wasn't necessarily a rom-com moment in the sense that it was for ted or about his feelings for ted alone. it was about himself, his own growing dissatisfaction with the toxic world of sports journalism and the kind of writing he was doing, the desire for "something deeper". that's not to say there's no tedependent take on this, or that hypothetical feelings for ted couldn't or didn't play a role. but like, it's also about his own character development, even if it is driven by ted (as many of the characters' developments are)

Hey, so I could get in so much trouble for this, because the guy who told me this BROKE AN NDA on accident, but I was at a conference today on comic writing, and one of our speakers is a major Damian Wayne writer, and he informed us that HE WAS CALLED IN TO CONSULT ON THE NEW SUPERMAN MOVIE BECAUSE DAMIAN IS ABOUT TO BE CAST FOR THAT MOVIE

I swear to fucking god that this is true, the only reason I'm not posting it myself if because I have no followers and no one would see. The staff at the conference actually had to go around and confiscated our phones to delete the video footage of his talk to try and stop this from leaking.

Please spread the word! I know this sound like spam or a lie, but its real!!!!

God I know I'm gonna sound really rude rn which I really am sorry about i don't mean anything mean about it I just man is this not really interesting to me I've not been keeping up with casting at all for the new superman or the new dcu bc like I just can't bring myself to care and we already knew damian was gonna be the robin in these movies which not hyped about (who's ready to see talia get bastardised on the big screen with a white damian) but also yeah we know damian was coming so obvious they'd be casting him

Any fun facts you’d like to share but haven’t told us yet??

hmm there is an ongoing rotation of Stuff About Them always playing in my mind but im always so bad at thinking of them when asked kdmdkdkd but there is one thing I keep coming back to while I replay some maelstrom gigs in the game and I dont *think* I've ever mentioned it. At some point Dagger is snooping around some files and stumbles across the database of gang initiations, like the recorded videos  of the optical procedure and medical write ups/complications/cyberpsycho concerns/etc for all the members and he's not really fazed by any this, he *knows* what it all entails and he's been around them long enough to understand what happens and the risks involved. curiosity gets the best of him and he ends up pulling up dum dum's file and watching a bit, and to his own suprise, it ends up really upsetting him. its a brutal, painful procedure with a lot of risks and minimal precautions taken (including no anesthesia) and while he could watch the others no problem, he has to turn this one off pretty quick. He ends up deleting the video too, and he never mentions it to dum dum, but it stays with him for a long time :)

the procedure goes well for dd all things considered but does result in some negative side effects: memory lapses to start. He has a hard time remembering specifics from his past before maelstrom but even his short term memory starts getting worse as he gets older. (Dagger helps him with little memory games which is kinda cute but they're both terrified of him losing everything. This has also led to dd recording a lot of interactions so he sort of his a digital scrapbook of moments between the two of them.) He also gets "stuck in time" sometimes, really vivid flashbacks, often of the procedure where the pain comes back full force and he doesn't know Dagger until it passes (usually a couple minutes but bad ones go longer). Dagger has aggressive night terrors and ptsd from his childhood so they really become each others anchors in these moments.

YEA IT DOES,,,,don't think i can ever overstate how much his body is fucking him up, yet he's trapped in the mental purgatory of how this is a "miracle" in its traditional sense. which in turn just. fucks him up further. he sits with it endlessly, thinking this is it, i will die today....today.....today.....today.....and it never comes. his body rots away, insects and fungus and mold consume it, he is violently ill over and over again, but he keeps "living". he stays conscious, whatever is left of his soul keeps moving forward in disregard of his body's death, like it just. missed it somehow. he's sure he must die at some point, yet how can he when he. already did. he's horrified at the implications of it, frozen in fear of thinking too far ahead yet his body serves as a constant reminder that death has already passed him by. and through it all, he keeps thinking he should be grateful. he is a miracle, living far beyond his death, the inverse of the incorruptible saint. SO. he could use someone who relates to those kinds of feelings and i think he'd be very okay knowing a v2 that's dealing with. THIS kinda mess

hey buds, i’ve seen some folks saying they’re tired of talking about The Poll and are gonna do some unfollowing for a bit until it blows over, and i’m gonna do the same. pls don’t be offended if i unfollow you rn, i’ll likely follow a lot of ppl back again once ppl quit talking about it, esp if we’re currently mutuals.

it’s just that this is supposed to be a place for me to come to find things i like and not a bunch of stressful discourse, especially because this super doesn’t matter?? i’ve seen ppl on both sides being rude as hell and that’s not okay. everybody can see this character differently and disagree about these things and yeah, that can be upsetting, but i never meant for my little vent post to get so out of control that now there are NEW vent posts being made to address mine. like i simply don’t care that much, EXCEPT that i care about staying away from the discourse, bc it gets nasty SO fast. i’ve been around a while, and i’m not doing that anymore. i have an opinion and i made a post that SORT of expressed it, and others took it and added to it in ways i didn’t always agree with, and now i’m feeling a bit targeted by some of these posts despite not really having said anything beyond making a point about Varric. so i’m just gonna disengage. this entire fight is silly and i don’t need the negativity it’s bringing out of ppl on both sides of things. like i feel ridiculous even having to explain myself about all this.

so let it just be said, i don’t support anyone being vicious or rude or dismissive to anyone else over this, or vaguing, or bashing other characters to make a point, or anything else. i’m out.

ok so the current stats at work are that after about three weeks of being in the hospital my boss's mom died. this is why i've been putting off quitting bc truly awful thing to have happened to anybody. really really horrible. however my favorite coworker put in her notice last week because she got a new job and i just got a text from another coworker that they're putting in their notice today. everyone is fucking dropping like flies. thats half of the core warehouse crew gone since our staff is so fucking small. i was thinking of putting in my notice on friday because i've GOTTA escape but my boss's mom's funeral is tomorrow. UHHH?????
