2. Which of your WIPs is currently the longest?

you're where I wanna go at 18.7k and no end in sight

3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest?

Excellent question. I honestly don't know between you're where I wanna go, with my heart in my lap and the original work. Two of them are historical AUs with separated lovers so.... could be a bit

4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?

TBH whichever one is giving me the least trouble lol Although I've been excited for you're where I wanna go for a really long time (it's over a year in the making) so probably that one. I love researching the details and really leaning into the feels.

5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?

The Darkest Fairytale because it involves magical elements and I've never written anything like that before.

6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?

The Darkest Fairytale for the reasons listed above but also the original work. I plan on putting that one out as my first book (!) and that's scary AF.

7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why? All of them. Unless I'm doing a super quick prompt I get at least one other person to beta read all my stuff. Extra eyeballs is never a bad thing.

8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer's block? Of course! So I bounce around to whatever's working for me. And if they're all being stubborn I take that as a sign to rest a bit (even if it's frustrating as hell).

9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them? Hmmmm, I'm not really sure yet. Of course the original work will be 100% OCs so I guess that one. They don't have names yet, or even that many details. The main character is a recently single woman who has always been attached in some way. So she finally has this chance to figure out what she likes and have a bit of fun. And then she meets a younger woman, they have fun together and it starts to turn into more than just a good time. Our MC gets spooked because she doesn't think she's ready or capable of doing that again just yet. Anway, I think they'll be an interesting dynamic to explore.

10. Which WIP is the sexiest? Honey when you call my name or I light the match. I guess it depends on your definition of sexy? The former explores Buddie after Eddie witnesses the Buck/Lucy kiss in 5x11. The latter explores Buck having a day he needs to get out of his head and Eddie knowing just how to handle that 😉

11. Which WIP is the angstiest? I think you're where I wanna go or with my heart in my lap for different but kinda similar reasons. In both cases the lovers are separated for years and having to deal with that in their own way as they continue to live their lives without their other half.

12. Which WIP has the best characterisation (in your humble opinion)? Maybe just because I'm so partial to it but I'm going to say you're where I wanna go. Also because I'll get to explore the personalities of familiar characters across decades of their lives.

13. Which WIP has the best scene setting (in your humble opinion)? So far come close (let me be home) since it's seen the characters in more detailed locations so far. But honestly I think it'll be a toss up between this one, you're where I wanna go, and with my heart in my lap.

14. Which WIP have you worked the hardest on? Any of the historical AUs. I need to know that I'm representing the time periods accurately. Even if no one else knows I'll know and it will bother me.

15. Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? Why? I'm going to guess the smutty ones because they tend to do best generally. I'll want all of them to do well but it will hurt more for the historical ones if they don't. Mostly because I'm most passionate about them and will want everyone to be as excited as I am 🙃

16. Do you dream about any of your WIPs? Not yet.

17. Do any of your WIPs have particular complexities that your other fics don't? run to the water and the darkest fairytale have the magical elements that I'm not as familiar with. Printer!Buck is going to require a ton of research around old school printing techniques as well.

18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour? None of them are particularly humorous but maybe come close (let me be home). It's a Bridgerton AU so there will be a lot of sniping and antagonizing between Buck and Eddie. And Chim will be a heavily featured character so you know he always brings the jokes to any piece.

19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process? Not so far, and I'm not sure if I'll explore that at all.

20. Tell us one thing we don't know about one or more of your WIPs. run to the water (and find me there) started as a 'message in a bottle' prompt that was just supposed to be a quick little thing. As I was writing my brain said hey, what if Buck was a merperson??? and it's growing to be a whole lot more (because of course it is).

riven i adore the concept of kat/riven and the ensuing bitter exes potential with riven's horror at what noxus was doing/katarina's resentment about the betrayal. fiora. i could maybe see akali. samira. maybe sett? miss fortune!! hmmmm not sure. i have a soft spot for katalux tbh and i think i've grown to appreciate it more esp after the comic and how they interacted there. as always, depends on portrayals and how well my version of kat matches with anyone else's version of those other characters also getting into 'no one ever writes non-champion characters' but hear me out katarina and drann definitely kiss the gods themselves told me

SEBTEMBER !!! What other month could I possibly choose ? Absolute fuckin highlight. Tom and I really did just get into a strangers car and drive interstate with someone we'd only met in person 2secs beforehand huh. Best decision ever 🥰🥰🥰 I could make a single post about Sebtember but (in this exact order definitely) the best parts were meeting Gimg, meeting Seb, CAIN'S TRIPS !!! RA concert and uhhhhh hmmmm everything else is tied. Best month of my life really.

10) something that made you cry

There was that one scene in Parks and Rec where April wrote something really nice about Leslie I think ? I was a bit tired but it was just such a nice scene 😭😭😭 (i don't mean this to sound edgy but it was only a coupla tears but still. As someone who doesn't really cry in general that's a lot)

13) how was your birthday this (last) year?

Fuckin AMAZING ! Probably the best bday ever. Started with a 4am wake up to drive to uhhhhh idfk where i forgot tbh but drove for an hour or so to watch the sunrise which was very cool. Then went to the nearby waffle house which i hadn't had in YEARS so that was a massive vibe. I forgot what we did after that but I do remember going back to your (seb's) apartment and being like "oh what's this what's happening" and i was like "huh weird he's saying that" and then noticing the banners and the fUCKING COOKIE CAKE <3 best kinda cake tbh. Rest of the day was a vibe and so fuckin fun.

not much tbh. don't think there's Anything exciting happening next year. nope.

Nah but i'm seeing fuckin MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE LIVE in March, got tickets to Sydney Comedy Festival Gala at the Sydney Opera House in April and then in MAY Seb comes to visit Australia !!! Well I always come up with lil characters in my head all the time but I did come up with one that I haven't actually talked about in a while but i am nonetheless really fond of them.

He was created for a fic and meant to be kind of a personification of a younger generation. Sorta kinda. And ofc his own character. Now that i'm thinking about it, he's kinda like Naruto with green eyes. Spiky blond hair and shit. Personality wise probably not a troublemaker in the same sense. Naruto was more juvenile which makes sense considering in part 1 he's 12 and my character is like...17. Did not expect this to be a comparison to Naruto but fuckin trust me to do that.

favorite tv show you’ve watched/discovered this year

MANHATTAN and, yes, i know you said i'm the only person you know you watched it, but i gotta rep my show. it's... incredible. def the best kept secret of prestige tv and MAD MEN's true heir (both are period shows set in the workplace, their structures are alike, and had incredible attention to detail/acting/directing/writing (especially this)). the first half of s1 is good, if rocky, but once it got going, it became smth truly special and that second season is one of my fave seasons of tv already. i could go on for longer, but i'm not gonna clog people's dashes w the ramblings of a lunatic about a show they haven't even heard of, so i'll stop for now

favorite platonic relationship you discovered this year

i think maybe issa and molly on INSECURE (tho that entire group of friends w tiffany and kelli is amazing). i luv friendships btwn women especially when they're rocky because there's so much more to explore there and i think the way the series shows theirs is interesting (their scenes in the last two seasons have been marvelous). they really make me wish i had started the show earlier because imagine watching their relationship evolve w time btwn seasons :'((

hmmmm i didn't expect to watch HALT AND CATCH FIRE this year, but a couple of friends kinda got me to do it and oh, MAN. i didn't really love it in s1, but it got better and better and s4 is such a stunner, i don't wanna finish it. i watched 4x7 earlier today and i've been a mess ever since then because, well, if you know why, you know why. and those character dynamics! they're incredible (donna and cam could have been another answer to the q above tbh. they are so fascinating together and i loved them so much in s3). a late entry to my list of fave discoveries of the year, but a welcome one

those watergate shows - GASLIT and WHITE HOUSE PLUMBERS, if they'll come out in 2022. but other than those, i'm excited to start a bunch of kdramas (including HEALER and WAIKIKI) at the rec of my friends, EVIL (cause everybody talks about it and i wanna see katja herbers be unhinged), THE KILLING (the american version, tho maybe i might watch the original one too) and GOSSIP GIRL (yes, i never watched the original show, but i've wanted to do it for years).

okay, so turns out, i AM gonna talk some more about MANHATTAN because my fave (new-to-me) ep is THE THRESHOLD. i'm not gonna go into detail because of spoilers, but i think it's probably one of the most definitive hour for the characters and their relationships. it also has one of my fave romantic gestures which isn't even THE most romantic gesture in the ep, but there's smth about that red thread that ruins me on every viewing

OT3/OT4? Yeah I'm cool. Gotta be in the mood sometimes but yeah (but sometimes it's just......not all 3/4 at the same time if you catch my drift? Sometimes it's just two/three combos within the 3/4 group I like)

I'm not down for the WHOLE cast. Mostly cause of my NoTPs. I greatly hate K*nNao with a passion and I view it as one of the worst ships (mostly cause it ignores Naoto's feelings and fanon wise can really screw up her character if I had to get straight to the point without really fluffing it out). But I like YuKan and SouNao, but I wouldn't be really into an OT3 with them (unless neither Kanji nor Naoto were like romantically involved with each other). I'm not....really of fan of SouYo (blame the SL and blame Yosuke's arc, I feel like the way his SL goes he'd be regressing in growth with making Souji a rebound/replacement goldfish on top of that and I just don't vibe with it). I don't like YukiChie ("Wow Silly, you hate all the big LGBT!P4 ships" Yeah. They left a bad taste in my mouth, except NaoRise.....tho y'all love to shove one unappealing ape in the middle of my decent yuri ship don't you? >_>), mostly cause it puts Chie in the "prince" role which kinda.....plays into her whole femininity issues and I think can harm her......which tbh you can break down my issues of those 3 big ships being "it hurts the development/writing of the character in some way" which ironically can only happen with those ships because of the events of how things have played out). I like NaoRise, I like KanRise but fuck if I like them all together. I don't like SouRise (I don't get why she latches onto him so much. Yukiko and Chie? Can't be attracted to a bear and they know Yosuke so I can see it, it's not that in your face tbh. Naoto? Social link gives the reasoning there. Marie? Same as Naoto. Lord knows why Rise latched onto Yu except he's the best looking guy? She seems to have more emotional attachment behind it but.....it just left a poor taste in my mouth), that being said I can OT3 SoujiNaotoRise. Not a fan of YuMarie, the friendship route is the best, and I do feel like a brother at times (also I didn't get to romance Grey haired Izanami u_u). I can ship Teddie with....pretty much anyone on the team tbh (maybe not Yuki and Chie tho never really thought about it), dunno why.....I like his dynamic with Souji/Naoto/Yosuke/Kanji a lot. Oh! SouSho/ShoYu or however you wanna call it, I'm not one for foeyay or antagonistxprotagonist ships but I like this one (probably cause how they execute it). I can OT3 SouNaoYo (I like SouNao and YoNao) same with SouNaoTed (cause I also like NaoTed). Uhhh Kanji I'll ship with....Yukiko, Rise (ironically Yukiko also ships it, and I like it cause Kanji and Rise literally see the other person truthfully which is.....what they want???? why don't they like each other??? they are literally fulfilling the needs of each other???), P4D!Nozomi, Yosuke (I like their bromance that's probably why), and Teddie (I might vibe with Chie cause he does show interest in her along with Yukiko but he and Yukiko have a history so I can see it more than with Chie). Chie is with MC (mostly Tracey!/Japanese!Chie, Erin!Chie.........orz), Yosuke (tho that's more of an old ship I hold a torch for I'm ehish on it now), and Aki atm (I can see her with a girl just......not what we have available). Yukiko it's Kanji.........yeah Kanji (I actually just really like these two together, I can see Yuki with a chick, maybe Labby but.....hmmmm OH I did like the YukiMitsu crack ship.....but other than that I just haven't really vibed with her romantically with other chars).

With SEES (might as well include them) I do not ship Yukari with anyone (except maybe crack ship her with Junpei for their own dismay..... or Hamu on certain days, then again Hamu is my shipping bicycle). And Junpei I only ship with Chidori or Fuuka (he at least showed interest with Fuuka prior to Chidori, but JunpeixMC/FeMC is similar to Yosuke above with it most likely hurting his growth). I absolutely detest Yukari with Mitsuru (I'll ship Mitsuru with MC/FeMC/Kikuno/Aki/literally anyone who is better than Yukari get yourself a gal/guy who WON'T slap you at your lowest girl you deserve soooo much better ;w;). I don't ship Ken with anyone besides Makoto N/Haru (same age purposes of course), for obvious reasons. Same with Koro....for obvious reasons. I don't ship Aki/Shinji together (their personas are literally brothers and I just.....don't see a romance with them.....maybe it's cause I'm not super used to Yaoi but...like...*glances at MC/Ryoji* I can see that tho....). I only ship Aki with Mitsuru, Chie, and training (I really dislike his romance with the FeMC, the sister thing felt icky and I hate how you have to convince him). I can easily OT4 Minato/Hamuko/Aigis/Ryoji. Fuuka I vibe with MC/FeMC/Junpei/Natsuki (probably the only char that has a "best friend" I ship them with, I don't like Y*kiChie, Y*kaMitsu, and I like pics of AnneShiho, I don't really ship them..... maybe due to lack of screen time? But regardless something hits different about Fuuka/Natsuki and it's probably because it's the better Y*kaMitsu sorry I don't make the rules, actual genuine friendship and apology here guys blame the writers for screwing over the other and making FuuNatsu the best, and blame the writers for not showing them more u_u).

Anne and Haru are more my shipping bicycles for this, tho I don't really ship Makoto with anyone besides Ken/Goro atm (I don't mind seeing MakoHaru tho, hate ShuMako and I'm not a big fan of MakoAnne......mostly cause I get similar YukaM*tsu vibes for toxic levels). Haru I ship with MC/Ryuji/Goro pretty hardcore (I can easily ship her with Anne too at times). I do like PegoRyu, and I like ShuAnne, and I like the PegoRyuAnne OT3 (I can probs OT3 MCAnneHaru or OT4 PegoRyuAnneHaru but that's for the PT, maybe add Sumi into one or all of the 3 combos but eh), I do not like RyuAnne tho (they feel too bro-ish and state pretty clearly they don't like each other that way, but I can see a vibe going if it was an OT3 tbh). MC it's mostly Ryuji/Anne/Haru/Sumi. I guess Futaba/Yusuke but I don't really care it's a pair the spares (maybe it's like Yukari and Junpei, I wanna see their dismay). I really don't like Sh*Taba, mostly cause, like Yosuke, it felt like it'd hurt her growth (mostly cause in her case her CoOp raised BIG red flags that made me squirm, something I didn't really see with Sumi) Goro is just with Sumi (if I'm not heavily BrOTPing them tbh), I highly dislike Sh*Ake (Like Yukari and Mitsuru, I cannot buy a friendship between them). Mona can eat a boot.

I tried censoring some ships so they don't appear in the tags but eh (it's under a read more so it should be safe? Hopefully? I tried). As you can see I'm a multishipper (that's not even going into my crossover ships, tbh I feel like I probs forgot a couple), and I like straight, yaoi, and yuri (obvie I rep more of the rarepair LGBT P4 ships 8U). I just have a certain preferences when it comes to the ships I guess? Give me a ship and I can either tell why I like/love it, why I hate it, or why I'm either "meh I vibe" or "meh I don't really vibe" or "I feel nothing" (I guess that's an open invitation but eh).

house of ashes is an absolute fucking train wreck if i had to be honest with the game fucking up ashely tisdale's character model (my queen looks stupid *sobs*) and some of the dialogue is awkward and the changing scene sequence? god some are just terrible

characters were kinda assholes too and the only one who is the best there was salim, my sweet precious dilf who carried the americans and the whole fucking game. i love this man so much

jason was an insufferable bastard with an accent but he is MY insufferable bastard with an accent. him and his cute lil southerner accent but his whole america spiel really makes me wanna shove something inside his mouth to shut him up. his character development was phenomenal tho hmmm
