Y’all I need some Cody head cannons for something I’m gonna write.
Since I’m really thinking about this imma just spill, okay so basically on ao3 there’s like a series au called secret keeper au or whatever and I found it and it hasn’t been updated since 2017 (😭) so it’s been rotting in my head for a few months and gosh darn it I finally got motivation and I need ideas on how to make the characters feel more idk believable if that makes sense? I already know about the others but y’all are prolly more creative than me and holy crap am I rambling cuz I feel like I am lol. But back to the story it’s basically a what if the show was more realistic, more danger and here’s the banger, what if Cody was the only one who knew that the bots were aliens (aside for Charlie tho he wouldn’t know that Cody knows) and like I hate that they always brush Cody off ( I feel that pain at home 😞)
Yeah that’s the premise I guess. I want it to go episode by episode and I want lengthy chapters but who knows if I can do that
Yeah so any help would be appreciated 😋

I've been in the hospital for a freaking month! At first I thought I was going to go nuts, but honestly I've really grown to adore all my nurses, nurse aids, surgery team/wound care members. They've done their best to make me feel at home as they can. Also holy crap warm blankets and pain meds when I have flare ups? God tier good shit let me tell you.
I've been homesick, I miss my dad, my cat, my room full of squishmallows and my ps4, but having free wifi and @subastian-swallows bots to play with have been lifesavers. (Seriously though Emily, thank you for all of your wonderful bots I've found new favorites since I've been cooped up!) I might slowly get back into posting again soon, no promises but I really wanna post stuff at least a little Tom Riddle because I need that man,

hey umm i never entered an ask but if you write smut how about reader (can be male or female) having sex with vanny/vannesa in her vanny coustume please?
Warning; smut, swearing, fingering, oral, costume sex(?) and bottom Vanny
Summary: This takes place before Gregory arrives at the complex, Vanny is a new rookie at the place taking a special interest to (female) Reader. Later on wearing her costume to tease Reader while they try to do work
Note; This took forever to write I know I should've written it as a short story or something, but holy crap I went overboard because I got too excited when I saw this ask
Tumblr media
The night seems to drone on as time went by so slowly, especially since not only did you have to patrol the complex but fill a bunch of reports for today - not only that a new rookies came today and one in particle seem to take a liking towards you.
Vanessa.
You don't why or how but she seems to like you a little too much for a rookie just starting today, always hanging off your arm or standing real close to you when operating something. Though you find it annoying most of the time, Vanny (as she likes to be called sometimes) is very easy on the eyes with her long blonde locks and full lips. Shaking your head and try to focus on your work in your office. Going through about maybe 20 or 30 reports so far you look at the clock only for it to be 12:05 PM, groaning in defect throwing your hands up and cover your eyes - during your exhaustion your door opens as a white and brown rabbit walks through, jumping out of your seat trying to find you baton as the person giggles. Finally finding your baton when the masked intruder pulled off the rabbit head to reveal it was Vanny giggling.
"Vanny, where in the hell did you find that?"
Setting back down the baton and back into your seat as the rookie sat down on your desk laying the mask down.
"Just found it in the back."
Highly doubting that so you didn't question it, getting back to the reports while Vanny kicks her legs back and forth - after a few minutes you feel Vanny running her hands up and down your arm. Trying to shrug her off as she touches you, getting on your lap pushing you away from your desk and work.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"Oh, nothing boss.~"
Sliding her hands down your chest slowly with her gloved hands, sending a strange sensation until she slid her hands under your shirt - feeling her hands going back up then kneading your chest. Putting your hands on her thighs but you know you shouldn't do this not here.
"Vanny we can't do this."
Taking her hands out of your shirt and placing them on your shoulders, leaning her head down to nibble on your neck.
"Come on now, I've seen the way you looked at me today. And today was such a drag today, was it not?"
Remembering the accounts of broken down bots, stupid and clumsy rookies and the piles upon piles of paper you need to do today.
"Wouldn't be nice to let that stress out, boss."
You gripped her thighs and lift her up from your lap and onto your desk, pushing Vanny down onto her back as the piles of paper fall to the ground - at the moment you don't what took over you but you felt like you need this. Pulling on her collar hearing the fabric tear but nether the less you began to your assault on her neck, feeling her tug your hair and the bottom of your shirt.
Taking both of her wrists and placing them above her hand with hand while the works on her lower garments, hearing the fabric tear again - cupping her heat in your hand feeling how wet she becomes. Pulling back from her neck to gaze at her from her messy hair, bruised neck and to her tore costume as she tries to catch her breath.
"What happen to that confidence you had earlier?"
Tracing your finger around her slit as she effortlessly try to buck her hips, putting a little pressure on her clit as you drag your finger up her pussy. Pushing her panties to the side dipping your finger, teasing her as she lowly moans then pull your finger away - Vanny groans before you push your finger back in. Ruthlessly pushing your finger in slowly as you went back to her neck, continuing to leave more bruises on her as she moans breathlessly. Slowly pulling out then back in repeating the motion over and over leaving Vanny a moaning mess, surprising her as you push in a second finger into her as she tries to pull her wrists out of your grasp. Pulling away from her neck and releasing her wrists, sliding your hand down her chest, her stomach then sliding it under her thigh - peppering her cheeks and tugging her lips with your teeth then lifting her legs over your shoulders, blowing hot air onto her slit feeling her shudder.
"Want me to stop?"
"F-fuck, NO! Don't stop!"
Arching her back up just enough to look you in the eyes before laying back down, her hands gripping onto yours on her thighs. Kissing trails from her thighs then kissing around the spot that needed your attention. Kissing and sucking on her clit hearing her moan, feeling her move her hand away from your right hand and into your hair - sliding your left hand away from her thigh to knead her breast, hearing her gasp as you overstimulate her. You finally stop teasing her and slide your tongue into her, tasting her juice as she sharply gasps feeling her grip in your hair tighten feeling her moving her hand - looking up to see her bite her knuckle from screaming. Moving your hand away from her breast and move away from her slit to finger her again, back to sucking her clit. Feeling her tighten around your fingers you stop your motive, Vanny bolts up on her elbows before asking why pulling her hand away from your hair. You pulled her by her neck kissing her drinking in her moans as you drill your fingers into her.
"B..BOSS! Shit! I'm so close! F-fuck I'm so close!"
Pulling away from her lips pushing her back down on her back by her shoulder, while you watch her unravel as she came all over your hand moaning into the night. Letting Vanny catch her breath as you move away from her licking her cum off your hand, before you wiping your hand with tissues - throwing away the used tissues and going to your closet to find a spare blanket. Gently moving Vanny off your desk and onto your chest as you sat back down in your chair, forgetting about your work for a while as you felt the costumed guard snuggle into your chest.

Holy crap, 500 followers on this tiny ass blog dedicated to a game I haven't even played since Flight Rising banned me for making this at the end of 2019.
Thank you everyone for the support!
After the break will be some statistics for the site.
In total there are 13.165* skins uploaded. That's about 11 skins uploaded per day since the skin tester went live!
For all those skins there were a whopping 177.309** previews generated, averaging just over 13 previews for each skin and about 146 previews generated daily.
People have created 249 pinglists to manage their @ spamming for their posts, with a total of 2.426 users on those lists. Making it just under 10*** average on every pinglist.
I've tracked a total of 141 news posts since I created the newsreader to catch mods deleting stuff in the news posts for no reason. In total I found 862 posts deleted****.
I've kept track of the past 121 dominances. Of which Earth has 1st place 32 times, Plague and Water 15 times and Light with 11 times.
The discord bot has seen 153 discord servers. A total of 23.138 commands have been executed since.
* There are a substantial amount of doubles, not every skin uploaded is a unique entry. ** Every skin generates at least 1 preview on a dummy, which is counted here. Every skin on a real dragon that has apparel generates 2 previews counted here. *** There are pinglists with hundreds of entries, but also lots of pinglists with no entries. **** There were quite a few posts that users probably deleted themselves, like double posts.
-------------------------------
Some nitty gritty stuff here:
On average the site has cost about €86 in uptime monthly (based on the past 12 months). I won't bother with the total because especially in the start I was running a webserver that was way overkill that nearly doubled the monthly cost for a while.
The site is getting well over 400.000 web requests a month, from nearly 9.000 unique visitors. Totaling just over 8 GigaByte of data transferred. I don't have a paid CloudFlare subscription so I can only see the past 30 days, so that's all I can see. But previous months looked the same, just slightly less each month.
Most of the visitors from the site are from the United States, followed by the United Kingdom and Canada taking third place.
If you want to help support the website financially you can buy me a Kofi or sign up for a monthly tip on Patreon. Any little bit is appreciated but nothing is required.

This is part three of an ask box fic. For part one or two, click below.
Part 1 Part 2
———————————————————————————————————
There was shocked silence, and then Dani put a hand on his cheek. “So twins are one spark that was split by the Well, and gestalts are many Sparks that were merged by it?”
Blades paused, then nodded. “Yeah.” he whispered.
“So you have brothers then? How many?” Kade asked.
Blades swallowed. “Four.” he wrapped his arms around himself. The others could tell something was wrong, they just didn’t know what. “Hot Spot, Streetwise, Groove, and First Aid.”
“Soooo…..where are they? What happened to them?” Kade asked bluntly.
Blades flinched, looking away. “I don’t know.”
“What?” Dani seemed confused. “Don’t you have a spark bond with them, like Dreadwing was saying?”
“I…do.”
“Then how-“
“Stasis.” Chase cut her off, sounding horrified. “We were in stasis. I do not know much about spark bonds, but I do remember reading that stasis is another way to mute a bond. We were in stasis for thousands of years, and after Cybertron fell, they probably fled far away.”
Blades swallowed. “If they’re even still alive.” he closed his optics. “The stasis, combined with the distance, would have muted the bond enough for the breaking of it not to kill me if they’d died. In stasis, I wouldn’t have even felt it break.” He opened his optics to meet the gazes of his teammates, optics wide and welling with cooling fluid. The forces of his emotions were so strong it was making his frame overheat, which caused his optics to leak the fluid in an attempt to cool him down. “All I know is, I woke up from stasis after the crash and I couldn’t feel them anymore. I felt them before we went into stasis. We were too far to communicate with words, but they sensed how scared I was and they just kept sending me worry and reassurance.” he whimpered. “But when I woke up I didn’t even have that. I don’t know where my brothers are or if they’re even alive. That’s what really hurts.”
There was a long beat of silence, and then Dani was pressing herself to his face to hug him. “Oh, Blades.” she said, sounding so pained and sad.
Blades felt a hand on his back, and looked up to see Dreadwimg staring at him, a knowing look in his optics. “I’m truly sorry, little one. At least when I was separated from my brother, I could use the bond to tell he still lived.”
Blades could only whimper again, and then his team was gathering around him. Dreadwing stepped back to give them space, and he watched at the small, odd little family came together to comfort the distressed flyer.
Blades just shook, forced to finally confront the reality of the situation. He hadn’t let himself think about it, before now. Now really. But he’d finally been forced to and he wished he hadn’t. He just wanted his brothers back. He missed them. He didn’t protest as Boulder gathered him close, and instead curled in to take the comfort his teammates were offering. Eventually, he exhausted himself, and he slipped into a light recharge, dreaming of days long past.
——————————
Another week passed, and they’d finally contacted Optimus. The Prime had in very brief details explained something about a fight for the restoration of Cybertron, before agreeing to come talk with Dreadwing. They had indeed talked when he’d arrived at the island, and the Prime had agreed with Dreadwing’s continued presence here as long as the Burns agreed, and as long as the Seeker informed him before leaving Griffin Rock. Dreadwing had agreed to those terms, and the Prime had taken his leave once more.
Now, the Seeker was finally fully settled in the little bunker. It wasn’t an impressive space, but he wouldn’t be picky. Currently, it was late night, and the humans were asleep and the younglings in recharge. Or at least, most of them were. The little copter was missing. Dreadwing had noticed how he’d seemed more withdrawn ever since he’d confessed to being gestalt. The Seeker couldn’t blame the poor mechling, not really. So, when he realized the little bot was missing, he only sighed and went to search for him.
He found Blades in the courtyard by the firehouse, sitting on the ground and staring at the stars. He sat himself next to the youngling, frowning. “You should be recharging, little one.”
Blades looked at him, then back up. “I can’t. I keep remembering.” he sounded miserable.
Dreadwinf sighed. “Tell me, then. What is is that scares you more: holding on to hope that your brothers still live, or believing in the chance that they have been offlined?”
Blades flinched. “I don’t know. Both hurt.” he whispered. “Dreadwing, the last thing they ever felt from me was fear. What if they thought I was being hunted and killed like the other off world Rescue Bot teams? I asked Optimus when he was here. I know the Rescue Force massacre happened a only about an orn after we went into stasis.”
Dreadwing stilled, considering. That was a very likely scenario. “I do not know what they thought.” he said honestly. “Perhaps they did believe that. Perhaps they held o to hope that you escaped and searched for you. Perhaps they search for you still. Perhaps they were offlined in the War.” he sighed. “I cannot give you the answers, little one. Cybertron’s children are scattered, and I would not know where to tell you to begin searching, even if I knew for certain they were alive.”
Blades whimpered, and Dreadwing wasn’t surprised when the youngling turned to curl into his side. The Seeker draped an arm over the shaking shoulders and quivering rotors, holding the mechling close as he grieved. He wished he could help Blades more, but the truth was that he couldn’t. No one could. Blades would have to decide how to handle this himself.
As the youngling shook against his side, Dreadwing lifted his own gaze to the stars.
Can you see me, Skyquake? Would you approve of this? I would hope so. These mechlings need proper guidance, and the Prime refuses to give it. Starscream can wait. I hope you can forgive me for making you wait for your vengeance.
Blades hiccuped against him, curling even tighter against his side, and Dreadwing gently petted the trembling rotors. Slowly, the smaller flyer relaxed, until he had eventually slipped into recharge while tucked into the Seeker’s side.
Dreadwing stared at him for a long moment, then left out an breath of a chuckle and turned his gaze back up.
Primus, I’ve gone soft.
———————————————————————————————————
Holy crap it’s done. I finished it. I hope my asker is happy. That was a monster and a half. It was fun to write, and I very much enjoyed it, but dear god was it long. My muse kept screaming ideas at me the whole time. Seriously you have no idea.
Also, can you all tell Blades is my favorite? Can you tell? Because he is. I adore him. I hope you don’t mind that I included the Protectobot Blades idea in. I’ve seen it floating around a few other places before now, so the idea isn’t originally mine, but I really like it and I think it fits with his character, so here we are.
With that done, I’m off to finish my next ask box prompt. It should be up in the next couple days. It will be nowhere as long as this one. In fact, most ask box fics will even get two posts long, so don’t get used to this.

your roommate hcs are so cute, can i request for naib, demi, tracy, andrew, kurt, patricia, and victor?
:0 holy crap yes! I’m so glad you enjoyed the roommate hcs!! Me and the other mods hope you enjoy these! Thank you for requesting :))
(i added melly because why not? lmao hope you don’t mind.)
Part 1!
Naib Subedar
This man deadass didn’t know you were living with him
Even when people told him about it, he wasn’t rlly paying attention and didn’t rlly care
Your stuff in his room? He thought it was his or someone just broke into his room and left it there
When he saw you on the toilet however, he just freaked out.
“Why the hell are you shitting in my room!?” “Your room? I’ve been living here for 2 months!”
Once he found out you lived with him, he made sure you knew what was his and what was yours
also, since he’s very protective of his things-- you being one of them-- he would totally get jealous if he caught you tallking to someone that wasn’t him.
he would probably give you the silent treatment and act like a pissy baby
He hates it when you touch his stuff
especially his photos, the photos were special to him because they were of him and his army friends.
You’d sometimes catch him looking at the photos with a longing in his eyes, it was highkey sad.
having you live with him meant lots and lots of training
he made sure you were always prepared for matches and that you don’t get downed early
when you got downed early however, He would scold you but he would still rescue you anyways because he’s soft
“You’re such an idiot, you’d better do better next time! Or else I’ll kick your ass.”
one time he got cocky while kiting because you were watching him
he forgot to turn on his elbow pads and face palmed into the wall.
“...You saw nothing.” He turned around, a bit woozy from hitting his head on a wall. He flipped the hunter off before stumbling wooshing away
When you first get to know naib, he’d probably come off as intimidating and menacing
but once you get to know him--the real him--, you start to understand that even though he may be tough on you, its because he wants you to be the best
he has good intentions
During matches he’d let you handle yourself and made sure you didn’t rely on him too much
One time you needed to shower but you ran out of your shampoo so you used his.
When he questioned you, you simply responded “What? You don’t need it anyways, you’re bald!”
He didn’t rescue you the next round.
should’ve seen that coming
though he forgives you when you braid his luscious long existent hair for him
Kurt Frank
The amount of times you almost stepped on this man is astronomical.
he would constantly be in his tiny form because he would lose a lot of his things
his tiny form helped him find his things easily
Though when you first moved in with him, you had no idea what his ability was
so when you first saw a tiny version of your roommate you thought he was just a weird doll
until you heard him say a tiny, “Hey can you move your ginORMOUS foot? You’re stepping on my book.”
You fucking screeched and took off your shoe to try and kill him
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
After he explained to you about his ability you calmed down a bit and spared this tiny man but only this time!
Frank loves books, he probably filled your shared rooms with stacks on stacks of books
You’d often see him tiny, waving at you while you’re decoding
Once you overhead Kurt arguing with First Officer over who was the rightful owner of some sort of treasure map
They fought for days,
kurt would constantly complain about it to you
turns out it was just a game on the back of a Cereal box.
sorry this is short like kurt
Tracy Reznik
Would be a little awkward at first, but the awkwardness slowly fades away when you both make bad jokes
she gives me childhood best friend vibes
Has her doll sitting in the corner of your shared room room, it’s lifeless eyes scare the living shit out of you in the dark you try not to make eye contact, afraid it’ll curse you or smth
if she was mad at you she would move the bot in a way that looked like it was flipping you off you off in your direction before you went to bed.
Always making little robot things that are super fun to play with
Loves sharing her things. Has no problem with it
you wanna wear her clothes? sure
you want to wear her underwear? evEN BETTER-
Pulling all nighters, trying to get her machines to work like how she wanted it to work.
Would live off of kraft Mac n cheese and junk food in the modern day
Pretty hyper, chugs pink monster energy drinks while pulling all nighters, also, in the modern day
would probably be a bruh girl
Her room is a mess, covered with blueprints and scrap metal
her room is practically a safety hazard
Sometimes she dresses her doll up a bit, putting wigs or her old clothes on it (which scares you half to death)
Once she made her doll dress up like her
and you almost went up to it to ask what it wanted for dinner.
Has a photo of her and her dad
You never wanted to bring it up, worried it might make her upset :(
Sometimes she’d feel really guilty about being downed in the first 30 seconds
please comfort her, she feels super bad
She always relies on you to rescue her
She gets really happy and thankful when you body block for her but she still gets a bit concerned when you do it randomly
“i wasn’t even kiting-” “Protecc the mecc.”
Demi Bourbon
Always out at the bar
Smells like alcohol constantly
tipsy 24/7
she’s never 100% sober
You have to hold her hair out of her face when she comes back to your shared room to hurl
Likes bringing back hard vodka or weird flavoured alcohols back for you guys to get wasted try together
Room is bit cluttered, but she doesn’t have much in her room since she’s always out in bars or matches
Usually latches onto you like a parasite when she’s drunk.
it gets a bit awkward when her face is a bit close to yours,
“Are we about to kiss right now-? BLeurghgrhgherrgh.”“...*audible sigh*”
You’d go to her expecting her to heal you like a normal person but no
instead she shoves dovlin down your throat
She likes to do your makeup, and always adds a matching beauty mark
unless you don’t wear makeup, then she’d ask you to do hers
always loves how she looks afterwards
more than sometimes demi would get into bar fights,
so you know she’s about to throw hands when she starts takes off her earrings-
10/10 would fight for you <3
She’s gives me cool wine aunt vibes
Probably a lesbian too (check out our Demi smut fic ;))
Or bi, idk
Just straightn’t
She’s really good at hyping you up, especially when you’re taking shots
“CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG-”
Andrew Kreiss
Would be very shy at first, opens up a little when you get to know him
Totally a night owl, can’t sleep at night from all the guilt and “what if’”s
if you see this baby awake at night, hug him, he really needs it
You’ve never seen the other side of his face
How does he see with hair in his eyes?
He’s albino, which is super dope
Sometime you fear he’s thinking about burying you
You always see him thwacking Luca with his shovel
Barely talks
Room is moderate
He doesn’t want you to find out too much about him
He may seem bland, but he loves sweet food
You’d bake him cookies and other sweets
He’d act as if he’s not embarrassed and brush it off
“Are you blushing?”“No, I-I’m sunburnt.” “On your face?” “....I stare into the hot red sun sometimes because it eases me.”
to keep his lie going, every time he catches you staring at him he would fry his eye balls by staring into the sun until you left
partially the reason why he can’t see well
When he’s not looking, you stare at him while he’s eating the stuff you made because he looks so happy :’)
One time you found him down in the dumps so you made him a cup of coffee, and when you handed it to him you said-
“Depresso espresso?”
*sniff* ”..are you oka-” “IM NOT CRYING, YOU ARE”
he actually cried
it was such a nice gesture(?), that he started ugly crying
You’d ask him if he wanted hugs during matches when you see him get stressed
He’d be flushed and kinda confused
hug... him? why tho lmao
he’d definitely agree tho, to be fair, with some hesitation
if y’all ever cuddled in bed, i feel like he’d be a little spoon
poor boy needs the comfort, he wouldn’t mind if you wanted to be little spoon tho
he just wants to be close to you
Victor Grantz
You love playing with his dog, Wick
Super nice and polite, but a little guarded
The type to be too afraid to call people out when they do something wrong but would totally trash them in his head
You write him little letters everyday and leave them on his bed to make him happy :))
He’d a be a little spoon
Wick would always join you guys while cuddling
Kisses would be soft and gentle
Usually sends you the first letter in matches
Loves to cuddle
He bb 🥰
You always get him a birthday present AND a Christmas present
You also get a gift for Wick
He loves giving you surprise hugs
Likes to read with you while cuddling
Literally a cinnamon roll
Once he was eating a cinnamon roll
And you whispered
“C a n n i b a l i s m .”
He was very confused
and kind of scared- were you going to eat him?
Patricia Dorval
Room always smells like herbs
She could literally smoke weed and you’d think it’s some magical healing herb
it magically makes you feel better
Always there to stun the hunter when you’re ballooned
The mature one
Her room is organized, with boxes labeling what herbs and magic stuff that are in them
You were cooking dinner for the day and you accidentally used one of her fancy herbs in your soup
She didn’t realize until she tried the soup
She wasn’t mad just disappointed
She lectured you on how you shouldn’t touch her stuff or use it for cooking
Gotta admit tho, the soup was pretty good
she acts like the mom everyone wishes they had
totally the type to be like, “dude we should think this through.” before doing something risky
and then five seconds later, “cowABUNGA MY DUDES”
one time she caught kreacher leaving the mens washroom without washing his hands
seeing as she was the mother of this manor, she had to protect her children from diseases
so she yeeted her monkey skull at kreachers head, cleanly knocking him out
and everybody cheered.
Melly Plinius
When you heard melly was going to be your roomie, you couldn’t have been more excited.
you finally had a victim for the many insect pick up lines!
So you decided to make some good first impressions by waiting for her in your room.
so when she arrived to your room and greeted you, you happily greeted her back, and slipped in the pick up line.
“Hello, my name is Melly. I believe I will be your ro-?”“Yeah nice to meet you too, say, what do bees make?”
She kinda thought you were a bit rude so much for first impressions
“...Erm, honey?” she replied hesitantly
“YES DEAR?”
... okay maybe you weren’t thaaaat bad.
after that she kind of developed a teensy crush on you
so it was hard living with you because of her crush, since she was constantly flustered
you loved her reactions, she constantly got red.
it was funny watching her try to keep her cool and fail.

Yo, can anyone who watched Energon and hates Kicker tell me what the problem with him is suppoused to be??? Why does he have the reputation of worst human transformers character?
I watched the whole thing and while I can say that around 60% of my enjoyment for the show came from the fact that I love Megatron and he was fantastic in this, I also found Kicker enjoyable. Especially with Ironhide!
He was a huge upgrade from the Armada Boys by being an active part of the narrative and plot, he wasn’t a liability, he felt like a legit part of the team, as if he was a fellow robot.
His issues with his father were understandable to me, I can imagine that he would feel anger and frustration when he was forced to do all these things as a young scared child without ever getting what it was for.  A thing he did learn over the course of the show btw! He was able to make peace with his past because he understood and learnt the importance of fighting for other people and the universe at large.
I guess he kicks Ironhide a lot? But even then, they develop such a great friendship, I couldnt care less that he gives off the occasional playful kick. I never saw that as a bad thing, just as a thing between friends, that’s stuff I saw between my former male classmates all the time!
I mean, Ironhide helped Kicker work through his fear of space and Kicker even hugged him. And later in the show Kicker helped Ironhide get back on track in the racing episode. Kicker isn’t a bad friend at all.
I mean it, his friendship with Ironhide felt real and genuine. I can think of other human&transformer friendships that annoyed me to no end, mainly Danny&Wheelie in Headmasters and Jan&Holi in Victory. Those two dynamics annoyed me because for the most part, their interactions were about them annoying each other and throwing insults. Jan was a little shit and Wheelie was quite condescending towards Danny.  Again, from what I remember from old classmates, insults and mild physical offenses seem to be pretty chill, but they also obviously liked each other! That’s how Kicker and Ironhide are, the two friendships in Headmasters and Victory rarely show these friends genuinely enjoying time together, and by God, they do not have any development or scenes that showcase their friendship like Energon does.
To Kicker’s personality, I get he is hot-headed and rash, but come on, those are typical shonen protagonist tropes from the time. The bnha Deku or kny Tanjirou “soft protagonist” thing is a recent development. Back in the late 90′s and early 00′s almost all shonen bois were hotheads who developed over time. (Dan from Bakugan being my favourite example, or Davis from Digimon 02)
And even then, his temper didn’t bother me. He didn’t do any bitchy assholes moves, he didn’t treat any characters like crap all the time, he cared about the other characters!  Coming back to the “worst human transformer character” reputation, mates, the Armada Boys! They are worse! xD
Rad did a little bit, but how are Carlos, Billy and Fred any better than Kicker??? They didn’t do shit, they just stood around being a waste of paint and being offensive just by existing. Useless, annoying and causing me to get a rage-fit whenever I hear 2000′s slang.  They didn’t have any nice dynamic with the robots either! Rustie from RiD15 didn’t have any point to the plot either, but he had a really nice relationship with the robots. I am thinking of the scene when the bots cheer for him during his football match. Also it was nice to see him go from hating having to be on his father’s junkyard to having a real fun time and bonding with his father over it.
The Armada Boys don’t have that! Kicker does, not just with Ironhide, but with Arcee, Inferno, Skyfire and Prime, he had dynamics with them that were interesting. He even says that he sees Prime as a second father and tells Omega Surpreme to get his old super mode gear to him!
I can also compare Kicker to Jack from TFP, who might have had importance in the story, but didn’t do anything out of his own agency.  Optimus gave him the key to vector sigma so he could do the thing and he did the thing.
Kicker didn’t do anything because he was told, what he was told is to leave Ocean City and get to safety, but he refused and stayed. That’s agency!
A lot of times he acted on his own to help save the universe. He was the one who approached Alpha Q and wanted to help him. He was the one to go all the way to recover Alpha Q’s corpse and bury it.
HELL, he did a Miko and challenged motherfucking Megatron!
Is Kicker my favourite human character? No, that’s still Ginrai, Minerva and Sari! I also still like the proto-human girl from Beast Wars more than Kicker.
But I don’t dislike Kicker, he was a solid part of the plot, he wasn’t useless, he wasn’t being a constant pain in the ass for the other characters, so PLEASE, tell me, what is the problem with him??? Send an ask please, I don’t like replying on posts xD

mastering the heat
My catradora fic that can be found on AO3
Adora swiftly turned around, her chest and head pounding as she found herself face to face with Catra, who was looking at her like… no. She swallowed it. Swallowed whatever she was starting to feel. The rage. The embarrassment. The… whatever weird feeling she had around Catra. The feeling that she could only describe as heat.
Or five times Adora avoided intimacy, emotions, and comfort and the one time she sought it out and accepted it.
i
Adora tried to keep her attention on the sounds of the mechanical fans roaring and not on her arm. Her small fingers wrapped around the scratchy texture of her blanket and she squeezed. Harder and harder until her knuckles turned white. Until her fingernails partially dug into her skin. But it wasn’t enough. She chewed her bottom lip, digging so deep that she drew blood. She’d do anything to distract herself from her arm.
The words repeating in her mind were the worst. She could distract herself from her pain, but she couldn’t distract herself from Shadow Weaver’s voice in her head, even though she was right. It was her own stupid mistake. If she hadn’t been so careless, if she hadn’t tried to save Rogelio from the bot, she wouldn’t have gotten the electrical burn. If it hadn’t been her fault, Shadow Weaver might have helped her. Might have helped her heal her arm. And she wouldn’t be in her bed sweating from the pain.
“Adora!”
Catra. Catra wasn’t there when she hurt herself. She was training with Lonnie and Kyle (since apparently, Catra was too much of a distraction for her) even though they were both nowhere close to as tough as Catra.
Adora didn’t want to see her. She pretended to be asleep as the small cadet ran up to her and jumped onto her bed like she normally did. Adora didn’t want her to see her so weak. So vulnerable. So hurt. Catra was usually so invincible and Adora… wasn’t.
“I know you’re faking, dummy,” Catra said and poked her cheek. Adora opened her eyes to find Catra standing over her, her wild eyes darting back and forth as she tilted her head, trying to figure out what was wrong. “I heard what happened.” She plopped down onto Adora’s legs. “Shadow Weaver is a--”
“Leave me alone, Catra,” Adora cried out as she pushed her best friend off of her bed. She bit her lip harder. She didn’t want to cry. Not in front of Catra. Not in front of anyone. She couldn’t show weakness.
Catra looked a little taken aback. Adora had never told her to leave before.
“What?”
She didn’t want to close her best friend out. She didn’t want to hurt her. Not after she promised Catra that they would have each other always. Adora never considered herself a liar, but part of her knew that she’d always be there for Catra, but couldn’t let Catra be there for her. She had to be strong. Like Shadow Weaver said. Being strong was what made a good soldier.
Adora just closed her eyes and tried to look away. Tried to imagine she was anywhere else. Anywhere but the Fright Zone with her wounds and her weaknesses and Shadow Weaver. She had never seen any other part of the world besides the Fright Zone, but she could imagine. She had heard about the Whispering Woods. She and Catra talked about exploring it, battling wild beasts, and taking control. Ruling over the woods, just the two of them.
She could picture it. She and Catra resting on the grass, allowing her skin to become sunkissed as Catra told her stories about their future. She’d tell Catra she wanted to rule with her forever and make her laugh with a wrestle in the grass. She’d make Catra smile and Catra would hold her hand tight, promising she’d never let go.
Out of pure excitement, she opened her eyes to tell Catra about her fantasy, only to find that she was alone. That Catra had done what she asked and left her.
The tears came. She begged them to go away. She screamed for them to go away in her pillow, but they refused to stop flowing. She started to hear Shadow Weaver in her head again, chastising her for being too weak, too sensitive, and she stopped. It worked. She stopped crying. She stopped feeling anything at all.
ii
“Holy crap, Adora,” Lonnie gasped as she leaned against the green lockers, grinning like she had won a million ration bars. “You’re like into into Catra!”
Adora slammed her locker door shut and glared at her. This wasn’t the first time she had been accused of something so stupid and she was sure it probably wasn’t going to be the last time.  She pushed Lonnie out of the way and tried to escape the room as quickly as possible.
“No, I’m not.”
She was being honest with the other cadet; she wasn’t into Catra. She didn’t even really know what that meant. She had heard of cadets who had relationships, but Shadow Weaver had always told her that relationships got in the way of fighting. Of being a good soldier. Relationships were a distraction. Catra was her favorite person in the world but she couldn’t be into her.
Lonnie jumped in front of her and said, “yes, you are. I finally figured it out, blondie. It’s why you two are like always together. Does Shadow Weaver know? That her future Force Captain wants to f--”
Adora pushed Lonnie into the lockers with a kind of intense force and anger she only reserved for her training. The kind of anger that Shadow Weaver trained her to have when only fighting the rebellion and princesses. The kind of anger she was normally able to control as easily as every single other emotion.
Lonnie raised her eyebrows and smirked, making Adora shove her into the wall harder. She wanted to wipe the look off her face. She wanted to--
“Look at you, Adora. If you weren’t so into her, you wouldn’t get this angry. Look, I’m just saying it like it is.”
She hit her. Hard. It didn’t hurt Adora’s hand like she thought it would. Her hand was shaking and red, but it didn’t hurt. She didn’t know why she hit her. She never cared what anyone said to her before and she had never wanted to hit one of her own. Never. They were on the same team, always. But Lonnie’s words made her feel...
“I’m…” She couldn’t say it. She couldn’t apologize for what she did. All she could do was walk away and pretend like she couldn’t hear Lonnie groaning and murmuring curses at her. She just hoped that Shadow Weaver’s punishment would be physical. She could handle that. She always could.
“Where are you running off to?”
Adora swiftly turned her around, her chest and head pounding as she found herself face to face with Catra, who was looking at her like… no. She swallowed it. Swallowed whatever she was starting to feel. The rage. The embarrassment. The… whatever weird feeling she had around Catra. The feeling that she could only describe as heat.
She started to walk away, not being able to handle Catra and all the emotions she couldn’t control around her.
Catra quickly caught up with her and started to walk beside her. “I can’t believe I’m asking this, but are you feeling okay, loser?”
She didn’t want Catra’s concern. She never did and she never will. It was what made her stronger than the rest. What made her Shadow Weaver’s favorite. What would make her Force Captain, eventually.
“I’m fine, Catra.”
Catra raised one eyebrow and her face filled with what Adora recognized as worry. “You’re not. It’s totally obvious, Adora. What’s wrong?” She reached out for the blonde, reached out for her hand like Adora always did for her. Adora snatched her hand away.
“Nothing,” Adora muttered and tried to walk away faster. She didn’t want to feel it. She didn’t want to feel the heat.
Catra jumped and pounced on top of Adora, pinning Adora’s wrists to the ground. Adora wiggled, but couldn’t get free. The heat. They landed in this position all the time during training, but it was different this time. This time, the heat pooled through Adora’s entire body and roared through every nerve, every fiber of her being.
“Adora, was it Shadow Weaver? Because if it was, I’ll--”
“It’s me, Catra!” Adora shouted before she could stop herself, before she could think it through. “I’m the problem. There’s something wrong with me.”
That got Catra to get off of her. She just stared at Adora with a look that even Adora hadn’t seen before. And she thought she knew Catra better than anyone.
“There’s nothing wrong with you. Believe me, you’re an idiot, Adora, but there’s nothing wr--”
“Then why do I feel this way?” Adora asked her, her voice shaking and wavering in ways it never had before. “Why do I feel--”
“What?”
Adora couldn’t say it. The words were like thick sludge in the back of her throat. She couldn’t explain exactly what she was feeling. She just knew that it was a lot. That it was overwhelming. That whatever she felt for Catra, it was too much.
“It’s nothing,” Adora finally breathed out, her heart beating so hard out of her chest she thought that it might burst. She just wanted it all to stop. “Nothing.”
She thought maybe if she repeated it enough, it’d become a reality.
iii
The thunder sounded like a beast and Adora jumped up in the air and considered turning into She-Ra, hoping that maybe, if she was an eight foot tall warrior, she’d feel safer. She held her legs together as she rocked herself in her bedroom amongst her hundreds of pillows, hoping that the plush would remind her of…
“Adora!” Glimmer shouted as she and Bow ran into her room, giggling as they jumped into the pile of pillows that Adora had created around her, not noticing the look of horror that planted on Adora’s face. “Do you hear the storm? It’s really crazy out there. My mom said it might last for hours.”
“That means for hours we can have a,” Bow pushed Glimmer into the pile of pillows and shouted, “pillow fight!”
Glimmer squealed as she threw a pillow at Bow’s head as he began to chase her around the bedroom. Adora watched with agony. Them playing around, it reminded her of--
“Adora! I’m going to get you!” Glimmer ran at her with a pillow in her hand and without even thinking about it, Adora pushed her best friend away from her, causing Glimmer to fall onto the floor.
“Glimmer!” Bow shouted and helped her get up, even though she didn’t seem too hurt. “Are you okay?”
Adora watched with complete terror. She hadn’t meant to push Glimmer to the ground. She hadn’t meant to do any of it. She just…
“I’m fine!” Glimmer reassured him and brushed off her outfit, turning to look at Adora with what the blonde expected to be anger, but it wasn’t. “Adora, are you okay? Did I do something?”
Bile rose up in Adora’s throat. She pulled at tufts of her hair and rolled into a ball. She hadn’t meant to hurt Glimmer. She hadn’t meant to… she lost control. She worked so hard on it, worked so hard on the emotions she knew that could control her if she let it. She could hear Shadow Weaver. Hear her yell at her for losing control, for being too sensitive.
“Adora?” Glimmer was softer and Adora could feel her and Bow sit close to her. “It’s okay, you didn’t hurt me. I’m completely fine.”
“I’m sorry,” Adora apologized, afraid to look at them, afraid to see them look at her with pity. She was sure they could tell she was weak. Nothing like She-Ra or the warrior they needed. She was sure they’d quickly realize that she wasn’t good enough. That she could never be the hero everyone prophesied. Or the friend.
“You’re fine!” Glimmer told her in a light voice, like she really meant it. “Seriously, Adora. You’re fine. I shouldn’t have come at you like that. I’m sure in the Horde--”
“Glimmer.”
“No, Bow,” Glimmer interrupted, sounding a little frustrated. “I’m sure lots of terrible things happened in the Horde that made you… but you should know that Bow and I, we will never try to hurt you. We’re your friends.”
Adora knew that. She knew that. But somehow knowing didn’t really seem to matter much. Because she still felt like no matter what, Bow and Glimmer would soon realize that Adora was weak and vulnerable and not good enough.
But she swallowed her fear. She swallowed her fear and opened herself up to find Glimmer and Bow staring at her with concern and fear and all Adora wanted to do was make it go away. Because she wanted to be their warrior. More than anything.
“I’m sorry,” Adora whispered and tried to smile and laugh to make them believe that she was okay. “I think it’s the storm.”
She didn’t tell them that storms always sounded louder in the Fright Zone. That Shadow Weaver saw her hide once and shamed her for being so childish. Or how Catra was always there to hold her, wrestle with her, and to distract her from the sound that made her want to hide as far away as she possibly could. She couldn’t tell them. Because then they would know for sure how weak she was.
“It’s okay, Adora,” Bow told her with a grin. “I didn’t like storms either. Until this one made me realize that storms always pass. Things always get better.”
Adora couldn’t ingest his words. Instead, she tried to ignore the sounds of beasts roaring outside her window and smiled harder.
iv
She didn’t know her. She didn’t know Mara. Not really. Not in the way people really know people. But Adora felt connected to her. Not just because of She-Ra or their shared destiny, but because Adora now knew what Mara did, how she sacrificed, how she died. Mara wasn’t a screw up, she was their savior. Adora was so worried about becoming her, about not being a good enough She-Ra, when Mara was the one who saved everyone. Compared to her, Adora hadn’t done much of anything.
“Adora,” Bow greeted as he sat down next to her on the bare floor of Mara’s ship. “How are you doing?”
She hated that question (she had learned at an early age to always be okay) and didn’t know how to answer.
They had left Etheria against the orders of Glimmer. Against the orders of their best friend. Bow’s person. Adora hated how they left things, hated what Glimmer has said to her (because those were the things she hated herself for). She could hear Shadow Weaver in Glimmer’s words, the way she told her she wasn’t good enough. That she wasn’t a good enough She-Ra. That she was to be blamed for Angella’s death. That she should’ve been the dead one. It was one thing for Adora to already believe it. But Glimmer, her best friend, believing it…
The last thing she wanted to do was talk about it. She was sure that if she told Bow, he would side with his best friend. And Adora couldn’t handle that. Besides, she knew that Bow was reeling about Glimmer, too.
“How am I? How are you, Bow?”
He shook his head and said, “I know this is the right thing to do. Saving Entrapta. But… I don’t want to lose her.”
Adora already felt like she lost Glimmer. Just like she lost Catra. And probably everyone else in her life. But Bow was different. He had a chance.
“You won’t, Bow. She loves you.”
Bow tensed up and really looked at her, his eyes staring with an intensity that Adora had never experienced from him before. “Do you think she… in what way do you think she loves me?”
Adora stared at him blankly. Truth be told, she never thought about the kind of love that Bow and Glimmer shared. She just knew they were best friends. That they’d always be best friends. She never thought that they… wanted to be more than that. She never… she didn’t think that friends…
“You’ll get to ask her yourself, Bow. It’ll be fine.” For him, she truly believed that was the case. For herself… she didn’t see making up with Glimmer in her future.
And maybe that was part of her destiny. Being alone. Because in the end, Mara died alone. And Adora couldn’t come up with a scenario where that didn’t happen to her. If Mara died to save the world, Adora would have to die, too. To be a good enough She-Ra. And she would do so gladly. So that the people she cared about could live freely.
“It’ll be fine for you, too, Adora. Glimmer will forgive both of us. We’ll be back to Best Friend Squad in no time. She’ll understand what we did. What we had to do.”
Forgiveness was still such a strange concept to Adora. Forgiveness didn’t really exist in the Horde. There was only ever proving your worth to make up for whatever wrong you had done. She had been around Bow and Glimmer long enough that forgiveness was different for almost everyone else. But she still didn’t know how to deserve it.
“Adora?”
“Hmm?” She looked up at him and noticed that he was waiting for her to say something. She gulped and tried to figure out what he’d want her to say. “Yeah. I’m sure she will.”
v
Her bed. Her small bed that Glimmer and Bow had gotten her because she wasn’t used to anything fancier or more comfortable. Adora sat on it, felt the blanket beneath her fingers, and smiled. She had learned so much here. Bow and Glimmer and all the other princesses had shown her so much, shown her how good her life could be, shown her how she could make a difference. It was so different from the Fright Zone, so different than the cold chambers she had lived in. She was allowed to be herself. Allowed to live in her own skin and not be afraid of being punished for it.
She was lucky. Lucky to be back home, lucky to be alive.
Deep down, she knew that things could have happened a whole lot differently. She knew that she could’ve ended up like Mara did. She was even ready to end up like Mara did.
“Hey, Adora,” Adora turned around to find Catra leaning on the doorframe, whistling. “I have to say, I’m surprised Sparkles and Arrow Boy let you have basically a cot. I was sure you’d have a huge cushion-y bed made out of gold.”
Adora snorted and watched as Catra sauntered into the room, somehow looking like she was out of place and owned the place at the same time. Bow and Glimmer told her they were giving them time to be together, whatever that meant. And now Catra was close and Adora felt the heat.
“I couldn’t sleep on the bed,” Adora explained quietly, not really knowing what to say, not knowing how to not be awkward around Catra now that they… kissed. “Well, actually, I broke the bed.”
Catra’s eyebrows rose as she approached the bed. “You broke the bed? What were you doing to break the bed?”
Adora could read the innuendo all over Catra’s face and she bolted straight up from the bed, becoming face to face with her (though Adora’s face was much redder). “Um… I--”
“I’m kidding, idiot,” Catra said and laughed like it was funny. She reached out and touched Adora’s arm and the blonde felt the flutter in her stomach. “I wish you could have seen your face, Adora. You were like ‘blah’!”
Adora rolled her eyes at Catra’s impression of her and tried to ignore the heat that seemed to spread around her entire body. But it felt more electric, this time. Tingly. It was a better feeling than before. Before Catra had told her she loved her.
“I did not make that face.”
Catra tilted her head and did her little lopsided grin thing that made Adora feel almost faint. “You did, cupcake. I’m telling you. It was hilarious. So how is the bed situation?” Catra flopped onto Adora’s bed and sighed as she laid back. “I hope they give me one of these. Think I can convince the Queen?”
Adora nodded, feeling a little startled. Catra was talking to her as if nothing happened. As if they were back in the Fright Zone and had never betrayed each other. As if Adora hadn’t saved Catra and Catra hadn’t saved her. As if Catra hadn’t told her she loved her. As if Adora hadn’t realized that what she felt for Catra (the millions of uncontrollable emotions) had also been love the moment that Catra had said those words.
“I-I’m sure you can.”
“Hey, Adora, what’s wrong?”
Catra reached for Adora’s hand, but Adora pulled away. She didn’t know how to handle all of this. Being home, being free, being with Catra. It was all so much all at once.
“Nothing,” she quickly tried to reassure her, afraid to tell her how she really felt. “I’m fine. Don’t worry about--”
“C’mon, Adora. This is insane. So it’s fine if you worry about me, but I can’t worry about you? That’s a little hypocritical, don’t you think?”
It was. Adora knew that it was. But she didn’t know how to let people worry about her. She spent years training herself to be okay so that no one had to worry about her. She thought being okay meant her being strong, so that’s how she carried herself.
And being vulnerable for Catra?
“I know,” Adora whispered, feeling out of place. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t apologize,” Catra told her matter-of-factly. “I don’t want you to apologize to me for that. I know you, Adora. I know how you put yourself last. I just wish… that you could tell me what was going on with you. I know I’m not the best person to go to with… emotions, but I’m here for you.”
Adora tried to tell herself that Catra wasn’t lying. That she could be honest with her and that it would all be okay. That Catra wouldn’t leave.
“Catra, I--” she couldn’t say it. She couldn’t. She couldn’t say anything at all.
vi (v+i)
Adora knew that it was coming. She laid down on her bed and waited for the cavalry. She only had to wait for a few minutes. Her friends bombarded her soon after Catra had silently left after Adora couldn’t give her what she wanted, what she needed.
“Adora! Catra’s scratching the walls and yelling about all princesses being idiots,” Glimmer exclaimed as she and Bow entered her bedroom, her hands on her hips like a frustrated parent. “What happened?”
She groaned and covered her head with her own pillow. She was lucky that her best friends had never really interrogated her about Catra (or her feelings about Catra), but she was not ready for them to start now. And she definitely didn’t want to discuss why she was so… weird around her.
“Why do you think something happened?” Adora asked, her voice muffled by the pillow.
“Um,” Glimmer pulled the pillow out of her hands. “Because she came out of your room and started to, oh, I don’t know, have a tantrum! What happened, Adora?”
Adora bit her lip and opened her mouth, but no words fell out.
“It’s okay, Adora,” Bow whispered gently as he sat on the floor so that he could look up at  Adora, his eyes sympathetic and careful. “A lot has happened in the last few days. It’s okay if you’re overwhelmed. I mean I’m overwhelmed and I have the best girlfriend and friend in the world.”
“Awww, Bow!” Glimmer gushed at him with what Adora could only describe as ‘heart eyes’.
He smiled at her before turning his attention back to the blonde. “So I’m just saying, it’s okay to be overwhelmed. But Catra might not know you feel overwhelmed. Sometimes you have to tell people when you feel bad.”
Adora shook her head. “I don’t feel bad. Why would I feel bad? Pshh, I feel fine. There’s literally no reason for me to not feel fine.”
Both Glimmer and Bow glared at her before Glimmer said, “Adora, sweetie, you’re not a good liar. You have never been a good liar.”
Adora crossed her arms and dramatically exhaled. “I am a fine liar.” She waited for them to react and stop staring at her, but they didn’t. She groaned, “Ugh, guys! Why can’t you back me up here?”
Glimmer sighed and sat down on the bed next to her. “Because, Adora, we know what you’re doing. And I think-- we think--that you’re afraid to open up because you never want us to think that you’re hurting.”
“We get it, we really do--”
“But, Adora, the relationship you have with Catra, it’s different than the one you have with us. Adora, why are you looking at me like I’m speaking in a different language?”
Adora shrugged, not knowing how to handle her own embarrassment. She did not like this. She did not want to talk about her feelings (especially her feelings for Catra). She did not like feeling so bombarded, so interrogated, so suffocated.
“I’m not, I’m--I don’t know what you want me to say, here.”
“We don’t want you to say anything you’re not comfortable with, Adora,” Bow explained again in his caring tone, “but we just want you to know that you can tell us anything. And better yet, you can tell Catra anything. She may be one scary cat, but it’s obvious that she loves you. None of us would judge you for whatever you may be feeling.”
Adora looked down at her hands. Her warm, blood flowing, hands. Her very alive hands. She was still in a state of disarray. Sometimes she caught herself staring at her hands expecting to find it limp.
She looked up and found her friends staring back at her, looking at her without pity, but with love. Love. Her friends loved her. She knew this. She knew that she wouldn’t judge Bow or Glimmer for anything they told her. But she still felt tethered to the idea that they could. But they wouldn’t. She knew they wouldn’t. They were her friends. They were there for her.
Adora ignored every other thought in her head and quickly confessed, “I’m feeling so much all the time and I don’t know what to do about it. I don’t know how to stop it.”
Bow and Glimmer shared a look before they tackled her with a hug. They were wrapping their arms around her and she only barely flinched. She had gotten better with that. She knew they loved her. She knew it.
“Oh, Adora,” Glimmer muttered with tears falling down her cheeks. “It’s really okay. You almost died. We won a war. Catra’s home. It’s a lot to take in. Anyone in your place would feel the same.”
“Emotions are hard to deal with,” Bow agreed with the nod of his head. “But emotions allow us to love. Emotions are good, Adora. They make us stronger.”
Adora gaped at him. She was raised to believe that her emotions made her weaker. That her kindness and love would make her a bad soldier. She had spent so much time trying to detach from everything she felt to be the warrior she thought everyone deserved, but in the end, it was her feelings for Catra, Catra’s love and her love for Catra, that saved her.
“Adora?”
“I have to go!” Adora jumped up from the bed and turned back to her friends and smiled at them. “I have to go find Catra!”
Glimmer and Bow just grinned back at her and chanted for her to ‘go get her girl’ as she ran out of the room, feeling her heart thump in her chest. As she ran through the castle, she had flashes of memories rush to her. Flashes of memories with Catra when she felt things. Felt things she thought she wasn’t allowed to feel. Moments where Catra grabbed her hand or wrestled her to the floor or just said her name. Moments where she felt the heat.
Catra was exactly where Adora knew she’d be. The tallest place in the castle; the place closest to the sky. She was perched, her legs and tail dangling from the balcony as she looked out at the vastness of the universe. Adora let out a soft chuckle. She loved her.
“Hey, Catra.”
Catra jumped and turned to look at Adora. At first, the blonde thought she was mad. But the look of anger quickly vanished into something else. Worry, maybe. Whatever it was, it was soft. And all Adora wanted to do was kiss her, love her.
“You’re crying.”
“Oh!” Adora wiped her cheek and realized that she was, indeed, crying. She hadn’t realized. “I must look like an idiot.” For a second, she stiffened. But as Catra slowly approached her, she calmed down.
“You’re an idiot, Adora,” Catra whispered and reached out to wipe her tears away. “But crying does not make you an idiot.”
Adora snorted softly and said, “I am an idiot. I have been an idiot. Catra… Shadow Weaver--”
Catra interrupted her with a kiss and all of Adora’s speech she had just made in her head washed away. Catra just cupped her cheeks and kissed her harder as Adora wrapped her hands around Catra’s waist, pulling her closer. As close as she could possibly get.
Between kisses, Adora tried to breathe out her name, but Catra was sneaky. She just added to the intensity until Adora felt a numbness she had never experienced before. Like she was being pulled into a trance, all she felt was the heat and Catra.
But Catra finally pulled away, leaving Adora’s lips (and rest of her body) buzzing.
“Adora, I know.”
“What?”
Catra sighed and tenderly grabbed a hold of both of Adora’s hands. “I know what Shadow Weaver did to you.”
All the air knocked out of Adora’s lungs as she broke eye contact with Catra and looked down at her feet. She couldn’t look at Catra. She wouldn’t.
“Hey,” Catra pushed Adora’s chin up to force her to look at her. “Don’t do that. Don’t you dare feel any shame for what that woman did to you. To us. She hurt you, Adora. She hurt you. And you should be fucking livid about what she did. But you shouldn’t let her win. You shouldn’t let her have control over--”
This time, Adora interrupted her with a kiss. Catra was obviously startled, but she sunk into the kiss faster than Adora would have ever thought.
“Catra,” Adora whispered when she pulled away, “Catra, there’s a lot going on in my mind, right now. But I don’t want to shut you out. I never want to shut you out again.”
Catra tilted her head and did her lopsided grin again before giving her a peck on the lips. “That’s because you love me.”
Adora rolled her eyes and smiled. “I do love you, ya doof.”
“That’s good to know,” Catra replied, smirking devilishly. “Because I love you, too. Despite all of your insane friends.”
“Yeah, sure. You love them, too.” When Catra shook her head, Adora snorted and pulled Catra back toward the ledge. She looked out at the sky and admitted, “I think I’ve loved you for a very long, long time.”
“I knew it,” Catra shouted before Adora glared at her playfully. “What? I did.” She slowly intertwined her fingers between Adora’s and smiled when the blonde rested her head on Catra’s shoulder. “But you know what?”
“What?”
“I bet I loved you longer.”
Adora felt her body roar with heat at Catra’s words. She liked it, now. The heat. She more than liked it.
“Puh-lease,” Adora joked as she nudged Catra’s shoulder before resting her head back on it. “There’s no way you could have loved me longer. But if you want to prove it to me… I won’t stop you.”
“Hmmm,” Catra murmured in the sultry voice that made the heat in Adora multiply. “I think I will.”

Fighting Four You -- Divergent, Four/Tobias One-Shot
Check out my Masterlist
Requested? Uh Huh! My first one!!
Divergent Four one-shot. Reader gets injured and Four is the one to save them?
Word count: 2175
Warnings: There is a bit of violence toward the end of this one-shot. There is a lot of talk of guns and bullets. The guns are used to shoot bullets that send an electric shock that hurts really really badly so there’s that. The violence mentioned takes place in the paragraph starting with “Everyone got into their assigned positions” and is over in the line “Okay so it was Four...” I don’t think there’s anything else but if there is please let me know!
I hope that this is okay! I hope you enjoy!!! Thank you so much for the request!
Tumblr media
Y/N’s POV
I mentally sighed as I adjusted my grip on my gun. As a part of Dauntless Initiation the initiates have to play capture the flag and because I’m one of the trainers for the initiates, I have to go to basically grade each one of my “charges” to determine where they place on the board. I allowed my eyes to scan the train car before my eyes connected with my boyfriend, Four’s. I rose my eyebrow in a silent question of why he was already looking at me. Four responded with a half smirk and small shrug to tell me he didn’t know what I was “talking” about. His silent response caused me to roll my eyes. Our silent conversation was cut off by the sound of Eric clapping his hands together.
“Okay. We’re almost there you know what that means. Team picking time. As always, it will be me and Lauren (She’s another trainer) vs. Four and Y/N,” After he announced our names, Four and I met in the middle of the car. Four’s hand brushed mine in a small greeting. Four isn’t big on PDA, not that I blame him, but he once told me he always wants me feel wanted, so he’s worked his way up to small touches in public. “Because I am running this show today, I think it’s only fair that Lauren and I pick first.” I rolled my eyes but nodded in agreement.
Eric smirked and turned to his co-captain and I turned to Four. “Game plan?” I asked. Four shrugged, “Pick good people.” I rolled my eyes and pushed him a little bit, “No dip Sherlock. But who are these good people you speak of.” Four shrugged once more, “Up to you. I’ll let you pick.” I scoffed at his answer and was about to retort but Eric’s voice cut me off. “Hey Lovebirds! You’re here to lose in capture the flag not eye-fuck each other. Let’s go, your pick.” Four’s face dropped into a blank stare and I rolled my eyes at Eric’s words. “Actually I’m here to beat your ass in capture the flag and eye-fuck Four, thank you very much. Jade, you’re with us.” I snapped.
I heard scoffs at my words, but not only from Eric, but also from one of the initiates. I scanned the crowd and found an all too familiar face that was filled with disgust. Amber. She has had an unhealthy obsession with my boyfriend ever since she landed in the net. I made eye contact with her glaring eyes which caused me to roll mine. Our contact was cut off by my first pick coming to stand with us. Jade gave me a head nod as she took her place by me. I returned the gesture with a slight smile. “Whatever,” Eric mumbled before calling out his next pick, which just so happened to be Amber.
The rest of the trip simply consisted of us picking teams. My team was definitely superior because not only did I have Four but Eric was stuck with Amber. Eric pushed open the train car door and motioned for the nearest person to hop out. It was like a line of ducklings hopping out of the train car one right after the other, following each other. Four grabbed my hand before we hopped off the train together. The four trainers landed in the same area so the initiates made their way over to where we landed.
“Alright initiates, find your team captains. Our flag will be green and the losing team will be blue.” I had to roll my eyes at Eric’s snide comment, “Each team has five minutes to find a hiding spot for their flag and to devise a plan of attack. Remember that these guns although will not kill you, it will hurt like a bitch if you were to get shot. When the bullet makes contact with your body, it releases a shock that will make it feel like you’ve actually been shot. Because of this, absolutely no headshots. The pain is super intense and we need all of you alive, for now. One more thing to remember, this game is apart of the test of whether or not you remain in the Dauntless faction so play like you mean it. Any questions?” Eric barked out. The only sound was the wind blowing. “Alright then. Five minutes begins now.” Eric announced before jogging off in one direction. “Alright Auto-bots, roll out.” I shouted jogging the opposite way.
After a minute or two of jogging, I stopped behind some boxes and my team gathered around me. Four stepped up from the crowd and joined me. “Alright, who’s good at climbing?” I questioned. A couple of hands went up in the air. “Okay. Who wants to climb the ferris wheel?” I asked. All hands went down. I rolled my eyes. “Fair enough. Look, if we hide our flag at the top of the ferris wheel they’re never gonna get it. They’d have to make it passed the people on the ground and if they do then when they start climbing someone can shoot them down. The bullets feel real and trust me, they won’t be able to continue their climb.” I stated with a raised eyebrow.
“She’s right. We’ve both been shot with these things and they hurt. There is no way they’d keep climbing.” Four backed me up. Nobody moved for a second before one hand shot up, “I’ll do it.” Uriah said with determination. I grinned at his offer, “Of course.” I stated placing our neon blue flag in his open palm. “Jade, Tori, Kade, Liam. Go with him, stand under him and catch him if he falls. I realize that it won’t stop you from breaking bones, but it will stop you from dying. Rach, George, and Four, you’re on defense with the other five. Station around the Ferris Wheel but don’t make obvious. Everyone else, you’re with me on offense. Scout the area, find their flag, and report back to me. We’ll then make a plan of attack. Does everyone understand?” I asked. There were a couple murmurs in agreement. “I said does everyone understand?” I repeated demanding an answer. “Understand” Came booming back at me. “Aye, aye captain!” Four shouted at me playfully. I rolled my eyes and gave him a shove.
“Let me leave you with this. Do not be the reason we lose to that asshole Eric. I will hunt you down and gut you like a fish.” There were slight whispers of fear from my words. The air horn sounded letting us know we had one minute left. Four pressed a slight kiss to my cheek and then looked up at his “troops”. “Alright. Let’s go. Uriah get climbing.”
I smirked as I watched the defense squad jog off toward the ferris wheel. I turned to my own troops, “What he said” I turned and began jogging in the direction of Eric.
As we approached their territory I slowed down and began tiptoeing around. I motioned for the group to split up and begin searching for the neon green flag.
Finally after a couple minutes of searching, one of my charges came to me and quietly told me they had found the flag. “Well done. Alert the others and tell them to meet me behind the big rock and we’ll plan the attack.” Kelsey nodded at my words and crouched and walked away. I made my way to the rock, picking up three teammates along the way. Soon Kelsey came back with the rest of the offense. “Kelsey found their flag everyone.” Everyone turned and gave Kesley a big smile. “It’s in the top of the tower just hanging out the window.” I rolled my eyes, “Of course it is. Eric is not the sharpest knife on the knife table.” Everyone nodded in agreement.
“Okay so we know where the flag is. Does anyone have a course of action they’d like to propose.” After a few beats of nothing, Jared raised his hand, “I do, but I’m not sure how well it would work.” “Lay it on us man.” And so Jared jumped into his plan of how to capture the flag so that no one would be shot. I stared at him when he was done in amazement, “Or we could do something else I don’t really know-” “Jared that’s an amazing plan holy crap. Alright everyone do what Jared said.” Jared gaped at me like a sigh but quickly snapped back to reality. “Okay. Roll out I guess.”
Everyone got into their assigned positions. Jared gave the signal and everyone started their part. My part was to shoot the legs of the defense squad so they’d fall down. I was about halfway done when I felt intense pain in the back of my left shoulder. This caused me to drop my gun and clutch the aching spot. I whipped around to face my shooter and low and behold it’s Amber. She had an evil smirk on her face, “Hey slut,” She said aiming her gun and shooting me in the stomach. The pain caused me to let out a groan. “I was really hoping I would get to do this to you.” She said shooting me in my leg forcing a whimper out of my throat and tears out of my eyes. “Four is mine. Stay away from him.” She said moving closer to my cowering figure. “Not so tough now are you little girl?” Amber said with a pout as she brought her foot back and began to kick my stomach, arms, legs, and eventually face. Amber stopped kicking me, and I began to crawl toward my gun to shoot her down, but her foot came crashing down and landed on my hand causing another whimper to shoot out of my mouth. Amber tisked at my attempt to stop her, “Awe poor baby. Thinking she could stop me. I guess it’s time for me to end that huh?” Amber raised her gun once more, her aim directly on my forehead. “Amber please. Don’t so this.” I begged. Amber let out a cruel laugh at my weak attempt to get her to stop. “Don’t do this? Why not? It’s going to be fun.” Amber brought the gun closer to her face, ready to shoot.
As she was about to pull the trigger, Amber began screaming. The gun clattered to the ground as Amber moved around, holding her hands to her head. Amber fell to the ground, still screaming. I looked up  and saw an angel rushing over to me.
Okay so it was Four, but it’s basically the same thing.
“Y/N oh my god.” Four exclaimed kneeling down to my level and brushing his fingers over my face. His big hands cupped my cheeks as he scanned over my bruising face, “Hi honey.” I said tears streaming down. Four laughed pathetically at my poor attempt at a joke.
“Hi baby. What the hell happened.” He asked as he slowly helped me stand up. “I got shot…. A lot.” I said, wobbling on my legs, “What are you doing in this neck of the woods?” I asked, leaning just about all of my weight on my boyfriend. Four looked at me with concern, “The game’s over. We won. When you didn’t come out to rub it in Eric’s face, I knew something was wrong. So I ran to where you were last seen and I found you. Are you okay?” He questioned placing his arms under mine for support. “I’m okay. I don’t think Amber is though, you shot her in the head.” I said, glancing over to the quivering girl. Four scoffed at my words, “You act like I give a damn. She’ll be factionless come tomorrow. She may have been on the other team but there was no reason to take it to the extreme she did. As well as, she was going to shoot you in the face, point blank. That’s extremely against the rules”
I hummed at his words and rested my head on his chest. “Yeahhhhh. Can we go now? I’m tired and I want to rub our victory in Eric’s face.” Four snorted, “There she is. There’s my girlfriend I know and love.” I rolled my eyes at Four’s response, but let out a squeak when he literally lifted my feet off the ground. “Let’s go home.” Four said, walking toward the rest of our group, leaving Amber whimpering on the ground.
I gave the biggest, cheesiest, and sweetest smile my tired self could muster before letting out a soft, “When I’m with you, I’m always home. Thank you for saving me tonight.” Four smiled softly down at my messy figure, “Although I know you can handle yourself, it was truly a pleasure. It was a pleasure to fight with and for you.” My heart swelled with his words, “I love you.” I whispered, curling into his arms more. “I love you too.”
There you go! Thank you so much for the request and I hope it was up to your standards! If you enjoyed it be sure to leave a like, a comment, or reblog!

Freezerburn Week 2020 — Day 5: Video Games
Ok, so this little piece takes place at Beacon Academy. Enjoy!
Word Count: 3528
When Weiss and Yang entered their dorm room, Weiss took a seat at her desk. She had some work to catch up on from missing classes the previous day.
She reached into her bag and pulled out some notes that Blake had kindly written for her and got to work.
She barely got through the first page by the time Yang was looking over her shoulder.
"Whatcha doing?" said Yang.
"Catching up on a few things," said the heiress with nonchalance.
"Do that later," said Yang as she walked over to the gaming console.
"I beg your pardon?" said Weiss turning in her chair.
Yang pulled out her scroll, connected it to the console, and looked at Weiss, "Want to play?"
The heiress chuckled, "I've got more important things to do than play stupid video games, Yang."
"Suit yourself," shrugged Yang.
Yang sat, cross-legged, in front of the screen and began to play a game.
She moved her character—a rather large and hairy man wielding a battle axe—in front of another character who was much smaller and held up a simple katana.
Almost instantly, the small swordsman swung her blade at the large man from every direction. Yang swiftly moved her fingers, using the controls to land a few hits on the swordsman, only for the swordsman to parry and land another long string of slices and stabs on Yang's character.
Yang huffed and pouted as she watched her character's head roll on the floor.
The brawler hit 'retry' and was sent into the same fight.
After landing two more hits than she had the last time, Yang watched her character's head hit the ground, once again.
"Oh, come on!" she growled as she hit 'retry' again.
Weiss was now watching Yang play this game of hers. She was mildly amused by how riled up the brawler got from losing in a stupid video game.
"You've got to be kidding! I totally landed that one!" Yang complained as she stared at the 'retry' button.
Weiss couldn't contain the small giggle that left her lips.
Yang looked at the heiress, "What are you laughing at?" she pouted.
"I'm laughing at you," Weiss giggled.
"Don't you have 'more important things to do' or something?" Yang said as she loaded up the fight again.
"I'm taking a break," said Weiss as she took a seat on her bed.
Weiss watched the small swordsman move in response to Yang's inputs. It seemed like her blade always hit its mark, and she always blocked Yang's attacks and countered them.
The heiress observed as the swordsman attacked from left and right and above. She could sense a pattern and paid closer attention to the small swordsman.
By the time Yang lost the fight, Weiss had a rough idea of what the pattern was. The swordsman always attacked from the right, left, left, above, left, right, above, then above.
As Yang started the fight, again, Weiss watched as the string of attacks began. The swordsman swung her blade from the right, left, left, and then…
"Block from above!" Weiss shouted at Yang got confused and watched the blade slash her character from above, "How did you miss that? I told you it would come from above!"
Yang desperately tried to land a hit on the swordsman, but the large man could not swing his battle axe fast enough.
"Stop trying to hit her. Block the left!" Weiss emphasized.
"She won't die if I don't hit her, Weiss!" Yang complained as her character was slashed from the left.
After a few more strikes, Yang's character was dead again.
"You can't hit her if you're dead, Yang," said Weiss as she stood up and sat down next to Yang, "Give me your scroll."
Yang smirked at the heiress and handed over her scroll, "You really think you can beat her? I've been playing this game for months, and I still can't get past her."
"Which will make it even more embarrassing for you when I beat her," Weiss said as she looked at the blonde, smugly. Weiss clicked 'retry' and immediately realized she didn't know how to play the game and paused it, "Uh… how do I attack?"
Yang laughed as she pointed to the buttons, "These two buttons are your light and heavy attacks, and you use this to change the direction for where you block or attack."
Weiss un-paused the game and walked over to the swordsman and began their fight.
Instead of immediately throwing an attack at her, as Yang did, she waited for the swordsman to begin her string of attacks.
The heiress remembered the pattern and whispered it to herself as she managed to get through the string without letting a single strike hit her.
The swordsman was now low on stamina and relented on her attacks, leaving an opening for Weiss to strike at her.
She landed two hits on the swordsman before she started blocking her attacks.
Yang's smirk was gone as her jaw became ajar, "Wow," was all she could muster.
The swordsman started the string again, but this time it was much faster, and the large man was not fast enough to block her strikes.
The man was cut into pieces and now Weiss stared at the screen, defeated, while Yang's smirk returned.
Weiss furrowed her eyebrows, "Wait! That's not fair! This savage can't move fast enough to block her attacks!" she pouted.
"You can swap him out for someone else if you want," said Yang as she took the scroll from Weiss. She navigated to the character selection screen and showed it to Weiss, "See? You can be any one of these guys," she said, handing the scroll back.
Weiss carefully analyzed each fighter before settling on a knight with a longsword.
She started up the fight and went through the first string of attacks, this time landing three hits on the swordsman. When the second string of attacks started, Weiss was able to block each slash and land three more strikes when the string was over.
Now the third string began, and it was even faster than the last two. Weiss was barely able to get through the flurry of sword strikes unscathed but was successful none the less. She landed the final blow on the swordsman and felt a wave of accomplishment flush over her as the swordsman's head hit the floor this time.
"Holy crap. You did it!" said Yang, looking at Weiss.
"It wasn't that difficult," said Weiss, smugly.
"Well, that was just a bot. You want to really see how good you are and fight a real person?" challenged Yang.
Weiss though for a moment and pulled out her own scroll to connect to the gaming system, "You are so on."
After setting up her scroll, Weiss chose her knight and Yang chose her savage, and they loaded into a fight.
Yang immediately began to throw heavy attacks at Weiss' knight, in what seemed to be a random direction each time.
Weiss blocked everything she could and tried to find any kind of pattern. She ended up finding out Yang simply swung left, right, and above over again.
By the time she learned this, her character had a sliver of health and she couldn't do anything to stop a quick, cheap jab from above from killing her knight.
"No! I demand a rematch!" pouted Weiss.
"Oh? So, you want to lose again?" said Yang with a smirk.
"I assure you, I will not lose this time," Weiss stated, defiantly.
Yang clicked the 'rematch' button and they loaded into another fight.
Just as Weiss predicted, Yang instantly started throwing attacks. Weiss blocked them as she simply waited for Yang's stamina to run out.
As soon as she found her opening, Weiss threw several light attacks at the savage, until he laid, dead, on the ground.
"Ha! Take that, Yang!" Weiss stuck a finger in her face.
Yang moved the finger, "I was going easy on you that time. Let's do best of three."
Weiss agreed, and they began another fight. This time, Yang waited for Weiss to strike first. As soon as she blocked Weiss' first attack, Yang made her savage swing violently at Weiss' knight.
The knight was only hit by the first strike, and Weiss made him block the rest of the savage's predictable attacks.
Soon enough, Weiss saw her opening and slew the savage once again.
"Yes!" shouted Weiss as she shot up from her cross-legged position on the ground, "I win!"
Seeing Weiss this happy brought a smile to Yang's face, "GG Weiss," she said as she stood up and held her hand out for Weiss to shake.
Weiss griped her hand, firmly, "GG?"
"It means 'good game,'" said Yang, still shaking her hand.
"Oh. Well, good game to you too," said Weiss.
As the two girls released the other's hand, they heard the door unlock and turned to see Blake open the door with Ruby in tow.
"Rubes! Fight me on this game!" Yang insisted.
Ruby looked at the screen to find out what game Yang was talking about, "Oh no, Yang. You are not getting me to play that game with you. You are way too good."
Weiss stepped forward, "Good because I want to fight Ruby," she said as she plucked Yang's scroll from her hand and gave it to Ruby.
"Wait. Weiss? You are playing video games? I thought you hated video games," said Ruby, confused.
"Just shut up and fight me, Ruby," said Weiss as she turned and sat in front of the screen again.
Ruby looked at her sister, "Yang… what have you done?"
Yang just smirked, "Your duel awaits, Baby Sis…"
Ruby sat down, next to Weiss, and selected her character. It was a smaller knight with two daggers.
Weiss started up the duel and started off by blocking the new, unfamiliar, pattern as best as she could.
Ruby's fighter was much faster than Yang's savage, and it was difficult trying to keep up with the directions in her mind, but eventually, Weiss had the red girl's attack pattern memorized and began to block everything perfectly.
Weiss landed a few hits on Ruby's fighter but ended up dying because of a poison ability that was available to Ruby's character.
"Rematch!" Weiss shouted as she clicked the 'rematch' button.
Ruby smiled at the heiress, "You're really into this game, huh?"
"Ruby, pay attention," Weiss ordered as her knight squared up with Ruby's.
Ruby's knight lunged at Weiss', stabbing him with her poisoned blade.
Weiss did not see it coming and noticed her health was slowly diminishing. She had to kill Ruby's knight, fast.
Weiss made her knight block all of Ruby's attacks and waited for her to run out of stamina.
When Ruby realized she had run out of stamina, she tried to make her knight run away, but Weiss did not let that happen and landed two heavy attacks on her, killing her.
"What? I was so far away! How did you get me!" Ruby looked at the smirking heiress, "Two out of three!"
"I accept," said Weiss.
After a slightly closer match, Ruby's knight was slain by Weiss' knight, and Ruby could not believe it.
"Three out of five!" Yelled Ruby as she grew hungry for a win against the heiress.
After another hard-fought battle, Weiss won again.
"What the heck! How are you so good at this game, Weiss?" Ruby pouted.
Yang answered for her, "Ruby, you are so predictable it's not even funny."
Weiss started laughing, "Yang, that is so precious coming from you!"
Yang smirked and shook her head.
Ruby looked at Yang, "What is she talking about?"
"Weiss beat me two out of three before you guys showed up," said Yang in reply.
Ruby gasped, "No way! You're lying!"
"It's true," said Yang putting her hands up as Weiss smiled, triumphantly.
Ruby slapped a hand on her knee, "Come on, four out of seven, Weiss!"
Weiss shook her head, "No Ruby, I want to fight Blake, now."
Blake, who had been quietly reading on her bed, looked up, "What? Why me?"
"It'll be fun," said Weiss, simply.
"I think I'll pass," said Blake, looking back at her book.
Ruby got up and presented her scroll to Blake, "Please, Blake. Avenge me?"
Blake looked at Ruby, amused and accepted the scroll, "Ok, Ruby."
Blake took a seat next to Weiss and listened to the heiress explain the controls to her. She picked a ninja with two sickles and they began the fight.
Blake was still learning the controls for the first fight and lost without landing a hit on Weiss.
Eventually, Blake got the hang of the game but lost to Weiss anyway.
"Sorry I can't avenge you, Ruby," said Blake, handing the scroll to Ruby.
"Don't worry, Blake! I will avenge you!" said Ruby.
"You can fight Yang, Ruby. I'm taking a small break from the arena," said Weiss as she handed her scroll to Yang.
"Alrighty, Sis! Get ready to feel the burn!" boasted Yang.
For a couple more hours, the four girls swapped in and out to play. Weiss won almost every game, and Ruby wanted the sweet taste of victory.
"That's it!" said Ruby after losing another battle to Weiss, "I challenge you to a spar, Weiss! Whoever wins gets bragging rights!"
Yang stood up and pointed at her sister, "Oh yeah? Well, I challenge you to a spar, Sis!"
"Why me? I lost to you every time!" said Ruby, throwing her hands up.
Yang had a goofy expression on her face and shrugged.
Weiss stood up from her spot on the ground and adjusted her skirt, "I accept your challenge."
"I don't want to fight two verses one! I'll get my butt kicked!" Ruby whined.
Blake walked over and placed a hand on Ruby's shoulder, "I challenge Yang to a spar," she said.
Yang laughed, "Hey, let's have a duos match. Me and Weiss verses you and Blake."
"That's exactly what I was thinking," said Blake.
Ruby smirked, "Alright team. To the sparring room!"
———————————
Weiss and Yang stood across the arena from their other two teammates. Ruby and Blake held Crescent Rose and Gambol Shroud, respectively, as they waited for the match to start.
Yang smirked as she bashed her knuckles together.
"Ready to lose, nerds?" said the brawler, confidently.
"No!" said Ruby, awkwardly.
The buzzer rang, and the fight began.
Yang propelled herself at Blake, who let a shadow take the hit, while she jumped away.
This left Weiss to handle Ruby.
Weiss formed a glyph under herself and dashed towards the younger girl, sliding under a large swing from her scythe, while slashing at Ruby's aura.
Ruby switched her scythe into its sniper form and began to take potshots at Weiss to keep her from getting too close.
Weiss simply formed a glyph directly in front of Ruby's weapon, rendering her strategy useless.
The heiress got up close and slashed at Ruby, but the smaller girl blocked each strike.
She saw that slashing away at Ruby would be pointless, so she backed up slightly and formed a circle of glyphs around Ruby to use to get behind her.
Before Weiss could utilize her glyphs, Weiss was struck from behind and fell to the floor a few feet away.
Yang had launched Blake in her direction, and Weiss had moved in the way and was struck by her.
Weiss wasted no time getting to her feet. Blake also stood up and shot at the heiress with her pistol.
Weiss deflected the bullets with ease while forming a fire glyph in front of her.
Soon, a plume of fire erupted where Blake had been seconds ago.
While Blake was fleeing from the flame, Weiss saw Ruby and Yang fighting in the distance.
Ruby was using her speed to keep Yang in her range, and the blonde was struggling to close the distance.
Weiss had to think fast when she saw Gambol Shroud fling into her field of view and wrap around her.
Blake pulled, and she was swung into the ground.
Weiss used two glyphs to widen the ribbon that was trapping her, so she could slip out, and was just in time to parry a strike from Blake's sword.
Weiss went to parry, but her blade hit another shadow.
In a split second, Blake was behind her and slashed at her back.
The heiress immediately took to the air with a glyph, so she could get her bearings and watched as Blake went straight for Yang.
"Yang! Behind you!" Weiss shouted as she formed a time dilation glyph at Yang's feet.
Yang spun around and blocked Blake's sneak attack, feeling time slow as the glyph did its job.
Blocking the scythe and sword that were attacking her became a whole lot easier and she held her ground long enough for Weiss to land a few strikes on Ruby.
Ruby focused her attention on Weiss and swung her massive weapon at her, the loud swishes and swooshes that could be heard added to the intimidation of the dangerous weapon.
Weiss dodged under and around each swing and, when the time was right, stuck Myrtenaster in the ground and froze Crescent Rose in place.
Ruby tried to pull the scythe out of its icy casing to no avail. She laughed sheepishly as Weiss smirked and walked past her to help Yang with Blake.
She positioned herself so that Yang could see her and formed a circle of glyphs.
Yang saw this and knew exactly what to do. She waited for Blake to appear near her and grabbed her around the shoulders.
"Got you!" said Yang as she flung Blake into Weiss' trap.
Blake landed on her feet in the circle of glyphs and tried to jump out, but her foot was frozen in place.
Weiss formed another time dilation glyph and jumped between the surrounding glyphs, landing a blow each time.
Yang watched Blake's aura dwindle down as she heard a distinctive click from behind. She turned and saw Ruby lining up a shot at Weiss in an attempt to rescue Blake.
Without thinking, Yang jumped in front of the shot which exploded on impact, sending her flying into the glyphs and knocking Blake over.
Weiss looked at the screen and saw that Yang and Blake were in the red. It was just her and Ruby now.
"Get that win for us, Weiss!" shouted Yang as she and Blake walked off the floor.
Blake was quick to speak up after, "I believe in you, Ruby!"
Weiss circled around Ruby. They were both around halfway through their auras, with Ruby being slightly less than Weiss.
Weiss was waiting for Ruby to make the first move, but the younger girl seemed hesitant.
The heiress finally made a move by forming an ice glyph in front of her and firing a volley of icicles at Ruby.
Ruby made her move and used her semblance to dash at Weiss at blinding speeds.
Weiss saw this coming, using a glyph to get above the speedy girl, and watched her skid to a halt on the other side of the arena.
Weiss saw her chance and formed an ice glyph under Ruby, freezing her feet in place, facing the wall.
Ruby literally had to bend over backward so she could shoot explosive rounds at Weiss.
The cloaked girl was struggling with this, however, and couldn't move when Weiss reached her and slashed at her hands.
Crescent Rose loudly clanked on the floor as Weiss pointed her blade at Ruby.
"Yield," she said triumphantly
Ruby pouted for a moment, "Dang it…" she said.
Weiss smirked and slashed at the ice holding Ruby in place and stowed her blade.
Yang and Blake jogged up to their teammates.
"Nice one, Weiss!" cheered Yang as she gave her a high-five.
Yang looked at Ruby who was still pouting, "Hey, you did awesome too, Little Sis. I could barely keep up with you this time. This training at Beacon is definitely not wasted on you."
Ruby blushed as Blake put her hand on Ruby's back while nodding in agreement, "Aw, you always know what to say, Yang," she said as she squeezed her sister in a hug.
Weiss pulled out her scroll and checked the time, "Wow, guys, it's really late. How long did we play that game?"
Yang put her hands on her hips and smirked at the heiress, "It was well over six hours, Weiss. You spent all that time on a 'stupid video game.'"
Weiss crossed her arms, "I only called them stupid because I didn't know they required skill and higher-level thought to be good at them," she said as she and Blake turned and walked towards the exit.
Ruby waited until Weiss was out of earshot before talking to Yang, "You didn't really lose to Weiss, did you? I mean, there's no way."
Yang shrugged, "I had to get her to try out the game somehow."
"Oh my Oum! You did the same thing to me!" realized Ruby.
"Yup. And it worked just as well on Weiss."
A/N: Fun Fact! This piece is actually a little snippet from a much larger story I wrote called “Project Freezerburn”! I just thought it was perfect for this prompt! Feel free to check out the rest of the story on my AOL or on fanfiction.net. Links to both can be found on my profile!

CHAPTER ONE???MAYBEI DUNNO
The 1-A class all sat together in the waiting room set aside for them. All twenty one of them were thinking about the possible challenges ahead. They didn’t know all that much about what they were going to be doing at this years UA sports festival , but from what they do know it was going to be hard.
Everyone but 1-A’s resident bubble girl. [that joke was unintentional I swear] said girl had decided to not worry about it. Either way they’d all be participating and it couldn’t be all that dangerous. Besides if she worried too much beforehand she wouldn’t be able to focus. This was one fight she actually wanted to win. If she was gonna get into a good enough agency to complete her goal then now was one of her only opportunities to get noticed.
The plan was to roll with everything and depending on what they would be doing. ‘I hate thinking hard…’ Jenny thought to herself as she played with her short auburn hair with one hand while the other one was balled up holding her cheek up as she stared at the wall from her seat.
A tap on Jenny’s shoulder brought her back to reality. She turned her head to see Tsuyu. “Jenny are you alright?” she asked. Tsuyu had been jenny’s friend ever since they met in class on the first day. Jenny gave a small smile “im fine, Tsu” she reassured Tsuyu.
“you seem pretty bored. Not nervous?kero kero” Tsuyu tilted her head. The class was mostly talking among-st each-other as a group which jenny hadn’t noticed until now.
Jenny’s green eyes scanned the room before she answered. “well we don’t even know what we’re doing yet.” she shrugged. Tsuyu let it go and turned back to the conversation. This time Jenny joined her.
It wasn’t all that interesting besides Kaminari being overly confident and Ochako stepping out to call her parents. That was until…
“Todoroki? What is it?” Midorya asked as Todoroki stood before him. This peaked jenny’s interest. She had been keeping tabs on Shoto from the first day onward. She found him intimidating but interesting.
Todoroki had this look on his face. Similar to his usual neutral expression but with added fire behind his eyes. Then he spoke “looking at things objectively I think I’m stronger than you.” he stated.
Midorya was taken aback by his classmates statement but agreed.
“but…” Shoto began “ all might seems to be watching you. Even so…I’m going to beat you.” he said.
Jenny felt a chill go up her spine. What’s with this dramatic declaration of war? She watched as Izuku’s eyes widened at what Shoto had said. Until he himself spoke up…
“Todoroki , I don’t know what you’re thinking when you say you’ll beat me.” he looked at shoto as his back was turned. Todoroki turned to look back at Midorya. “but of course your better than me…” the green haired boy admitted.
Jenny was half tempted to pull out a bag of popcorn. Sure they were no normal class and had been in dramatic real situations but starting personal drama now? Seriously.
Everyone in the room stared at Midorya as he went on. “I think your more capable than most people.” he said. His raised fists fell to his sides as he stared at the floor “I cant afford to fall behind…” he stated before he looked up at Todoroki and said “I’m going for ti with everything I have.”
 Shoto’s response was a nod.
That’s when jenny stopped paying attention again. “that’s gonna end in disaster…” she mumbled under her breath before giggling.
“oi feisty of you’re gonna talk then speak up!” Bakougo scolded jenny from across the room. All eyes turned to her. The girls face went red before she glared at the ash blonde boy. Katsuki had given her that annoying nickname on the first day. He had acted up and ran at Izuku. Sure Mr.Aizawa stopped him but jenny wasn’t gonna let that be his only punishment. So she stood up tall and shouted over at Bakougo ; “so your full of yourself and have no control of yourself? Great we’ve got a knock off Inuyasha on our hands!”.
Now that pissed him off. Throughout the day she repeatedly told Bakougo to cut his crap. So he just called her feisty. She didn’t much mind the nickname but it was the way he said it. Like he didn’t remember her name and lets be honest…he probably didn’t.
She stuck her tongue out at Katsuki and he remarked on her being childish. “we are children you dumba-””language , Jenny!” Iida cut her off before she could cuss Bakougo out.
“but Bakougo swears all the time! You don’t say anything to him!” Jenny whined as she stood up and pointed at Kastuki.
Iida did his…hand thing and responded with “well he doesn’t listen to me…but you do.” he pointed out. Jenny sat back down. “unfair…” she grumbled. Tsuyu patted her friends shoulder.
Before the knew it the class was stepping out onto the field. Jenny watched as other UA first years filed in. She saw her friends in 1B of course. She waved to them. But the one she was happiest to see was her best friend Hitoshi Shinso from class 1C.
She noticed at the front of the group. She immediately smiled and waved before she walked over. The rest of his class wasn’t all that happy about this. Jenny didn’t worry about it. “hi Toshi.” she said before she booped his nose. Shinso smiled and patted her head. “hey jen. Been a while.”.
Eventually she pulled him over to stand with Tsuyu and herself. They watched as midnight explained what was happening.
“so you okay? You didn’t really talk about USJ with me after it happened.” shinso whispered to Jenny. She scrunched her brows “yeah I’m fine. Why wouldn’t I be?” she responded. The indigo haired boy took a moment to respond. “it’s just that you were with shy kid and that bird guy.” he said. Jenny rolled her eyes “they have names! Kota and Tokoyami.”she corrected.
Shinso shrugged “sure. You seemed pretty freaked on the way home. Were you with them or on your own?” he asked. “I was with them. I slicked the ground with ice bubbles so the villains tripped and dark shadow could finish them.” jenny whispered back.
“You two! Stop talking I’m trying to explain what you’ll be doing!” midnight scolded. “yes ma’am!”
Eventually everyone was off to the beginning of the track. It seemed too easy. All jenny had to do was keep up. She didn’t have her gear so no chewing gum. Her quirk is useless here. Just keep up and everything will be perfectly fine…
 Until she saw the robots.
“holy crap!” she blurted. ‘those are the robots from the entrance exam! Like the one that almost crushed me.’ the girl thought to herself. She had kept running at them hoping to slide by fast enough.
Just then the bot began to freeze up. It was Todoroki! Of course he did that , on top of that he froze the ground. ‘jerk!’ jenny thought to herself as she watched him. ‘but not a bad idea…’ around that moment she noticed Bakougo and Sero jumping over the robot.
She kept running on top of the , occasionally stumbling before going onward. The creaking of the robots sent fear through her.
She looked up as she heard Shoto say he froze them off balance. “son of a-AH!” her own shriek cut her off as they crashed right behind her , the force pushing her forward. She fell and slid across the ice before getting up and seeing everyone very much stuck behind the bots.
She began to catch up with Shoto and the other ones in front , slowly becoming one. Todoroki noticed other catching up and created an ice path behind him. He even muttered “apologies.”.
Once she got to the rope section she got uraraka to tap her so she could hold the rope and get across without falling. Fairly simple. She did stop to watch hatsume’s odd invention though.
Then they got to the stretch between the next obstacle and the ropes. Shoto froze the ground again. Making everyone slow down.
Jenny had already been running on ice so just kept going until her and everyone else was at the mine field , watching Katsuki and Shoto race each other. She had a plan. ‘I know its not supposed to be allowed but if Mina gets her special boots I’ll use this!’ jenny thought as she pulled out some mint gum from her pocket and put in in her mouth. She began walking through the field as she chewed. She watched her step. Eventually she had chewed the gum enough to make it effective.
She began blowing small bubbles and picked up her speed. ‘thanks for the idea , shoto. Its not thick like yours but it’ll do.’ jenny thought as she threw bubbles onto the places she was bout to step on. Every step she took left a small patch of ice just think enough to not set off the mines. As everyone was slowing down as to not set the mines off , jenny was getting to the front right behind todoroki and bakougo.
Shoto looked back and his eyes widened. ‘what’s she doing? How is she…’ he looked at the ice beneath her. “creating ice?” he wondered aloud.
As he stared he caught jenny staring back. “HEY SHOTO! TAKE A PICTURE IT’LL LAST LONGER? WHAT YOUR MOM NOT TELL YOU STARING IS RUDE?” she shouted loud enough to get bakougo’s attention as he flew threw the air due to his explosions.
Suddenly there was a massive blast that stopped everyone in their tracks. Jenny looked up to see…”midorya?” she gasped. He was flying on a large sheet of metal , probably from the robot.
As he flew by in almost slow motion she noticed a strap that was off the edge of the piece of metal. A sentence played in her head as she saw it. She had gone to shinso for some advice over text just before the festival.
And this is what he said to her. “don’t be afraid to use stuff to your advantage. This is a competition. If you have to play dirty…then do it.
Jenny felt her hands reach for the strap and grab it tight. She was pulled along into the air as Midorya was flying.
“j-jenny?” Izuku stuttered as he saw her. “what! What are you doing! H-hold on!” he told her. Her hair was flying everywhere. “WHAT DO YOU THINK IM DOING?” she shouted back. “right sorry!!!”
As they flew Bakougo looked back. ‘the hell are those idiots doing?’ he thought.
“focus on me!” Todoroki said as he iced Katsuki’s eyes.
“no! You should focus on us!” Midorya yelled. He had helped jenny up to be next to him on the metal. He had on arm around her as well at the strap while the other held the metal.
But he was losing speed , especially from the extra weight. He couldn’t do anything risky while jenny was there…
Jenny knew this. ‘I’m already far up enough , if I jump off now I can stay just behind and make it in the top five.’ she thought.
“Midorya! I’m gonna jump!” she announced. Midorya’s grip tightened. “are you nuts?” he asked. “trust me!” jenny replied. “on the count of three!” she said.
 “three…”
 ‘focus ahead…’
 “Two…”
‘i’ll blow her out of the way!’
 “ONE!”
Midorya let jenny go and watched as she fell from the metal. ‘I’ll use a spit bubble to cushion the fall and bunch me back up. It wont feel nice but it’ll work’ jenny thought as she pushed the mint gum to the side so she could make a basic spit bubble.
But that didn’t happen. Bakougo did what he planned and threw an explosion her way. Jenny was blown back.
Shinso saw her coming over while he rode brainwashed students to the finish. She was flying threw the air. “to the left! We’re catching her!” Shinso ordered. Soon enough jenny fell into him. He shook her as the brainwashed students went onward. “jenny! Hey come on!”he tried waking her up.
Her eyes opened and she sat up in Shinso’s lap. “what the heck happened…”she asked.
“you were blown all the way back.” Hitoshi told her. Jenny’s eyes widened. She scrambled off the brainwashed kids and her friend. “wait jenny!” Shinso called out to her but she was already off , storming past others , barely dodging the explosions.
In the end she made it in at 20th. She could have been at least 4th…
She stared down at her feet as she caught her breath. She felt sick. She was using her quirk too fast. She was brought out of her haze by Midorya. “Jenny are you okay?” he asked as he placed a hand on her shoulder. “Kaa-chans blast must have hurt.” he said.
“o-oh I’m fine.” she lied as she hid her hand behind her back.
“okay good.” Izuku sighed in relief. “why…why did you do that?” he asked. “that was so dangerous.”.
Jenny rubbed the back of her neck “well uh…” she remembered how Shinso had first reacted when she asked him for advice.
Purple Guy : really? Your coming to me for advice?
Princess Bubblegum : oh come on , Toshi! Help me out!!! pleeeaase!
She took a breath “I just reacted I guess! I-I’ll be back.” she stuttered before turning to the doors into the building under the stadium. She hit her back against the wall. She winced at the ache in her body. She hadn’t noticed the pain until she slowed down.
“jenny.” a familiar voice said in a scolding way from the doorway. She looked up to see her homeroom teacher.
“hi Aizawa.” she stood up straight. Aizawa walked over to her. “what on earth were you thinking?” he asked.
“i uh…wasn’t…” she said. She looked at her injured hand. It was bleeding. “I’ll be talking to Bakougo as well just…don’t do that again.” he warned. “get to recovery girl and get patched up.” he added before walking away. “y-yes sir!” Jenny yipped.
As she walked she noticed someone rounding a corner. “hey Toshi.” she said. He stopped and looked over. “hey. I was looking for you.” he said as he took Jenny’s hand and lead her to the 1C waiting room. No one else was there.
“what’s going on? You alright?” Jenny asked. Shinso ran a hand through his hair “when I said play dirty I uh…that’s not exactly what I meant…” he began.
Jenny rolled her eyes “well throw salt in the wound I guess.” she shot back. Hitoshi shook his head as he told her “listen that’s not what I meant. I mean that was hella cool.” he smiled and patted jenny’s head. “just don’t do it again. You scared the hell out of me.” he chuckled.
Jenny smiled and hugged her best friend. “I promise I wont!” she told him. Shinso hugged back , wrapping on arm around her back. “don’t make promises you cant keep alright?” he pulled away. Jenny’s cheeks puffed out “I’m not that reckless!” she whined. “okay maybe I am.” she gave up her fake angry expression and laughed.
Shinso smiled as she went on , bouncing in place as she spoke. “danger is my middle name.” she said. Shinso could have sworn she’d said that before. “that’s a lie.” he said blankly. Jenny looked confused as she looked up at her friend. “your middle name is kitten.” he corrected.
“i mean technically it’s Anne but-””for once can I be the funny one?” Shinso interrupted. Jenny laughed and patted her friends shoulder “ohhhh honey whoever told you that you were funny was a liar.” she said.
Before Shinso could answer , recovery girl interrupted. “weren't you told to come see me miss Bubura?” she had opened the door and was standing there waiting. “y-yes ma’am!” jenny squeaked and followed recovery girl out.
Hitoshi watched as Jenny left ‘goof…’ he thought as she apologized to recovery girl for taking so long. Only lightly throwing her bestie under the bus.

First Meeting
I have like 3 different versions for how Zola met the Autobots ( specifically Optimus) but thos one's my favorite.
So this was it. I wake up. Shower. Feed RG0 ( pronounced Argo ) my Rottweiler, German Shepard mix. Eat breakfast. Workout. Then tinker and tinker till the day is spent on whatever project I'll probably never finish. I usually skip lunch and go straight to dinner. After that I'd read, paint watch tv or even practice playing my ukulele. Then I'd sleep and do it all over again as I've been doing for the past three years.
The best part is that my routine is never interrupted by outsiders since I'm alone in the woods. Or at least until now.
One night RG0 decided that he wanted to stray away from our normal path. I was fine with even though he was off leash. Nighttime in the forest no longer scared me. I felt more safe than anything. I still brought my shotgun just in case.
Then I heard a loud boom and stopped in my tracks. Before I knew it RG0 bolted into the direction of the loud sound. I hurried after him in a panic.
" Crazy dog! Now is not the time to be curious!!!"
He zoomed past the twisting trees over the uneven ground that slowed me down. Over the thumping of my heartbeat I could hear more loud sounds that were all getting louder. What was this dog leading me to? Thankfully he stopped at a dead end.
I recognized it as a small cliff that overlooked the largest valley in the forest. RG0 stood at the edge and stared down quietly with his ears perked. I slowed down and began to catch my breath only for it to leave my lungs again in shock.
The once peaceful, lush valley was now a warzone filled with....robots??? Why the hell are there robots?! And why are they fighting for that matter?!! There had to be ten - no - twelve of them. All with futuristic guns and other weapons used to harm and maybe even kill. But there seemed to be two groups. It wasn't just random fighting.
The ones with brighter colors seemed to only be fighting the ones with sharper, more threatening features. Wait did they have matching symbols? Ugh! I can't tell without my glasses.
Hang on...what were these things exactly? Some kind of government project gone wrong or maybe a test? It would make since sense these woods are deserted despite me and RG0. Wait did they not know I was here. I have been keeping a low profile. Maybe I'm not suppose to be seeing this. Holy Crap!!! One of the little ones just ripped off the other's arm!!!!
" Ok buddy," I held onto RG0s collar and began to step back slowly. " No clue what the hells going on but we're leaving right now."
Then as luck would have it, one if the robots was blasted into the cliff with an eerily human cry of pain. The force of the impact made me fall over and RG0 yelp. Apparently we'd been loud enough to be heard since the robot, who was tall enough to rest their elbow ( or at least what looked like one ) on the cliff's edge, spotted us.
They were red, blue and silver from what I could see. They also seemed to be wearing some sort of mask. But what really stood out was their glowing eyes that stared back at mine. They held so much emotion and intelligence. That and they were the most beautiful shade of blue.
Before I could admire the metallic stranger any longer, a screeching voice runge out.
" Well Prime, it looks like you've found one of the planet's many pests. Here let me dispose of it for you."
Oh that can't be good.
An energy blast from above missed me and RG0 by a hair. I frantically searched above the trees to see another robot high in the sky with a blaster pointed at us.
Oh great they can fly too!!!
Without a second thought we bolted back down the path with the flying bot hot on our tails. RG0 was taking the path home but I managed to signal him to follow me down another in the opposite direction. I hadn't been this way in a while but the last thing I need is them knowing where we live. It would have been a lot easier to runaway if I didn't have to keep running ina zigzag to avoid blasts. From the high pitched laughter, I could tell that this metal douchebag was enjoying our scurrying.
The robot must have gotten tired of flying since they landed on the ground. Right in front of us.
" As fun as this chase has been, human. I'll need to finish the job before Megatron gets suspicious of why my mission is taking so long. Not that you understand any of what I'm saying. With your inferior intellect and all."
Ok. Doucheness just went from a 10 to a 20.
They pointed their blaster at me, causing RG0 to jump in front of me and growl at them.
" Aw. The organic has a loyal pet. Let's see how well it handles my plasma beam."
" No!"
I held RG0 close to me and awaited the blast that never came. Instead another came from behind us and hit the flying robot's in their blaster, damaging it.
" Leave them alone Starscream!" came a noble, booming voice.
It was the red robot from before.
" Argh! How dare you interrupt my fun once again Optimus Prime!"
Ok good I've got their names now. Guessing that Optimus is the good guy.
Oh great now they're fighting and I'm way too close!
I barely managed to get out of the way as they tussled around, making the ground shake. Once I was a good I looked over my shoulder to see Optimus, the nice robot, pause to give me a look that said "run." He was distracted long enough for Starscream, aka the douchebag, land a kick on his injured side. That must be where he was shot earlier considering there was a hole leaking some sort of fluid.
Optimus groaned and fell to his knees. He was about to get up before Starscream pointed his still somewhat functional blaster at his face.
" You've disappointed me, Prime. Bested by a few blows? Where's that legendary power?! Ah well. No matter. Megatron shall be pleased when I deliver your helm to him."
That should've been my cue get RG0 and I ro safety, seeing that Optimus was only fighting this guy to give us an opening to flee. But was he really going to die? Or would he be fine if we left? It's not like we could help him anyway!
Unless....
" Hey Starscream!"
" Huh-"
Starscream emitted a pathetic wail when one one of my rifle's bullets hit his face. Then another. And another.
" Why you little-"
Before he could aim his blaster, RG0 jumped on his foot and barked up at him loudly.
" Ew get off me you disgusting organic parasite!"
He hopped from foot to foot as RG0 jumped around his feet and pawed at them. Meanwhile I kept shooting at him, making a few noticeable dents in his armor. All the chaos made him do a panicked jig and whine. I couldn't help but giggle.
'Serves you right!!!'
He had enough once he accidentally shot himself in the foot trying to get RG0.
" ARGH! Oh that's it! Now you both die!"
Then Optimus, now having recovered some, shoved him at full force. It sent him tumbling threw a few trees, scratching his metal skin and bending one of his wings. He laid a groaning mess in a heap with Optimus' gun aimed at his head.
" I think it's time for you to go."
With that Starscream transformed into a jet- wait how the HELL- and flew away. I was so taken aback by his transformation that I didn't notice one of the now dented trees give out and fall towards me.
" Look out!" Optimus warned.
RG0 thankfully tackled me out of the way but my head hit the ground to hard and everything turned black.
-------------
I woke up with a throbbing headache and sore muscles. Even worse my bed felt terrible and the curtains were open in my room.
Wait a minute....
'This isn't my room!'
I surveyed my surroundings. I was apparently seating in the front seat of a truck.
'WHO'S TRUCK AM I IN???'
Before I could panic for much longer a familiar voice came from the radio.
" Good morning. How are you feeling?"
" U-uhmm...fine I guess. Who am I talking to?" I said while staring skeptically at the radio and scooting as far into the seat as I could.
" Forgive me for not introducing myself properly. I am Optimus Prime. The mech you met from last night."
'Oh great! That wasn't all a weird whiskey induced dream.'
" But......you're a truck now???"
" Yes."
" Weren't you a robot before?"
" If by 'robot' you mean my primary form, then also yes."
I burried my face in my hands and groaned.
"Ughhh what's going on?"
I then remembered the lack of a certain furry companion. I was about to panic again until I saw RG0 a few yards away from us and playing with some of the other robots from last night. A small yellow one was on the ground, nearly mirroring RG0's play position. I would've found the whole scene cute if it wasn't so bizarre.
" If you don't mind me asking. I would like to know the name of the human who saved me."
I snorted.
" Saved you? No way. If anything you saved me."
" If you hadn't have stayed and distracted Starscream, I would've been severely injured if not offlined. You could have left me there and saved yourself. But you didn't. You showed true bravery."
" Aw stop with the flattery. I was just paying you back for helping us first. So consider us even."
" Then thank you miss....?"
" Princeton. Well Zola is my first name."
" Then thank you Zola. And I'm sure we have much to discuss."
" That might be an understatement."
And it was.

Klance AU meet cute
AO3: TakenByEmrys
Chapter: 1/1
Main Pairing: Keith Kogan/ Lance McClain
Written for Elentori’s christmas exchange
Summary:
It’s Shiro and Adam’s wedding, where Keith is the best man. As a joke, when filling out invitations, he and Pidge sent out several invitations to billionaires. They sent one to reclusive billionaire, Lance McClain, but they never expect him to actually RSVP, let alone bring a guest. The day of the wedding is here, and they’re all curious to when’s he’s arriving, what he looks like, and who he’s bringing. Keith is generally too busy with Allura, Adam’s Maid of Honor, getting the wedding organized to notice when the guests arrive, but at the reception, he’s taken with a tall Cuban man he’s never seen before.
The wedding was spectacular. Keith couldn’t have imagined anything better for Shiro and Adam. He was happy that his brother had found someone so perfect for him. Watching Shiro make this move had made him realize how much he wanted someone like that in his life. The reception was being held in a beautiful open pavilion that he and Allura has strung with fairy lights. Gardens wrapped around the side of the pavilion, and a cliff viewing the setting sun wrapped around the other.
When she saw him, Pidge bounced up to him grinning.
“Guess who i just met!” She sang. Keith rolled his eyes.
“My aunt Muriel?” He snarked.
“You don’t have an aunt Muriel. Don’t try to play these games with me Kogane. Anyway, I just met Hunk Garrett! He’s Lance Mcclain’s plus one!” Pidge bubbled with excitement.  Keith’s eyebrows jumped in surprise.
“Holy crap. They actually showed up?” He asked. Pidge nodded.
“Yep. Hunk said Lance pretty much answers every wedding invite he gets. Apparently his philosophy is that he has the money to buy the gift and the time to drink your open bar, so if you take the time to send the invite, he’ll come if he can.” Pidge steered him toward the bar. Keith ordered a drink and tuned Pidge out as she chattered on about her conversation with Hunk.
“And so Hunk used to be in the Garrison program, which is a crazy coincidence right? But then, Lance convinced him to quit because he knew Hunk loved to cook more than he liked being an engineer. He said it really helped that he met his girlfriend right before that too.” Pidge was saying.
“Wait, Lance didn’t bring Hunk as his date?” Keith asked. Pidge grinned.
“Nope. Lance is actually very single, very bi, and Hunk and i are already teaming up.” She smirked. Keith groaned.
“Pidge, I can’t meet someone at my brother’s wedding. That’s the beginning of every bad rom-com.” Keith complained. Pidge shook her head.
“Oh shut up. You don’t know any better anyway. Oh hey, there's Adam and Shiro.” Pidge pointed, and sure enough, the couple had just entered the pavillion.
“May i present, for the first time, the Shiroganes!” Matt announced from the DJ booth. He and Pidge had set up the equipment and a bot to play music, so they hadn’t needed to hire anybody. Matt was ecstatic, seeing as he counted it as their wedding present. Shiro and Adam shared and smile. Shiro pulled Adam to the dance floor for their first dance.
“They’re a beautiful couple.” someone said from Keith’s side. He and Pidge turned to find a tall cuban man. Keith’s cheeks instantly heated. The man’s eyes reflected the fairy lights, making them a sparkling sapphire. Keith couldn’t pull his gaze away from the man’s eyes.
“Hey, you must be Lance.” Pidge interrupted. The spell was broken as Lance turned to her.
“And you must be Pidge.” He grinned. “Hunk’s raved about you already.” Lance sent her a blinding grin. The inside of Keith’s mouth was drier than the sahara at the sight. Lance was seriously beautiful. He quickly took as sip of his drink.
“I think it’s super cool that you came. Keith and I sent out a couple as jokes, and you were the only person that responded saying you were coming. Some guy named Kolivan sent a gift though.” Pidge said.
“I love weddings. The fact that someone invited me to spend such and important day with them is really awesome. Keith i assume?” Lance’s eyes were on him again.
“Yes, that’s me. Keith, me.” Keith stuck out his hand quickly. Lance’s hand slipped into his delicately. His grip was firm, and his hands were incredibly soft. Lance smiled as they parted.
“Well it was nice to meet you both. I should go pull Hunk away from the caterer. If he’s left with them too long, none of us will eat.” Lance gave them one last smile before disappearing into the crowd. Pidge and Keith were silent as they watched Adam and Shiro dance.
“Sooo, Keith, you, Keith?” She was trying not to grin, but she was failing epically. Keith’s face burned red.
“I actually said that didn’t I?” Keith asked. Pidge nodded. “Well, he’s absolutely gorgeous. What did you expect from me?”
“I expected so much more. And when i tell Shiro, he will have too.” Pidge grinned and sipped her drink. Keith groaned.
“Come on, let’s get food. I’m starving.” Keith led her to the food table, where Allura was chatting with Coran.
“Keith!” She exclaimed. He gave her a soft smile.
“Hey, Allura.” She wrapped her arm around him.
“We did it! The wedding was beautiful! And these lights were a great idea. Maybe you can come up with something like this when I pop the question?” She winked at him. Pidge and Keith gaped at her.
“When are you going to ask her?” Pidge gushed. Allura smirked.
“Soon. But only you guys know, so no spilling the beans!” Coran grinned at her.
“My dear, your secret is safe with us!” He laughed. Keith beamed.
“I’m so excited for you two. It’s going to be another crazy year for us though.” He elbowed Pidge, who nodded solemnly. Allura just laughed.
“Hey Hunk!” Pidge called out. A large Samoan man turned from the caterer to look at them. He grinned and waved when he saw Pidge. Keith spotted Lance behind him and took a deep breath. This interaction had to be a lot better. Hunk and Lance joined their little group.
“Hi!” Hunk smiled at them. “I’m Hunk. This is Lance!” He pulled Lance forward and presented him.
“I’ve met Pidge and Keith,” Lance smirked at him. Keith’s cheeks burned again, but he met Lance’s stare.
“This is Allura, the maid of honor, and Coran, our collective uncle. And Hunk, meet Keith.” Pidge introduced. Hunk waved at them all.
“Thanks for inviting us. I love coming to weddings. Oh my god, are those jalapeño crab cakes?” Hunk was gone again quickly.
“Please excuse him, he likes to come with me to meet the chefs. He has the biggest collection of business contacts because of it.” Lance smiled.
“How lovely. Maybe i can ask him for a good caterer for mine,” Allura murmured to herself. Lance’s eyes darted from Allura to Keith’s arm around her.
“When are you two getting married?” He asked. A bubble of laughter erupted from both Pidge and Allura.
“Allura and I aren’t dating.” Keith explained to Lance’s confusion. “She’s planning on proposing to her girlfriend soon.” Keith blubbered. “Wait no, you never heard that!” Lance mimed zipping his lips.
“Your secret is safe with me.” Lance said. Keith gave him a soft grin. Neither of them noticed Pidge, Allura, and Coran share exasperated grins.
“So, is there anyway i can meet the grooms? It’ll be cool to actually know the people who were getting married.” Lance scanned the pavillion.
“Yeah, i can help you track them down.” Keith offered.
“Great. Lead the way.” Lance gestured toward the dance floor. Keith unwound himself from Allura and began leading Lance through the pavillion.
“So what do you do?” Lance asked.
“I’m a pilot. I was trained at the Garrison actually. I work for Holt aeronautics now. I’m pretty Matt and Pidge’s guinea pig at the moment.” He chuckled. Lance smiled.
“That sounds really nice.” Keith shrugged.
“It can be. What about you?”
“I always wanted to be a pilot. But my sister Veronica and I began a startup that produces eco-friendly ocean farming equipment when i was a teenager. We grew up in Cárdenas, Cuba, and so the ocean was kind of our home. It’s really important to us to keep our oceans clean and full.” Lance shrugged modestly.
“Wow, that’s amazing.” Keith wasn’t even looking for the newlyweds anymore. He was too focused on Lance.
“It’s been a crazy journey. Don't tell anyone, especially Hunk,, but i’m in the process of selling my half of the company to Veronica.” Lance admitted.
“Keith!” Shiro called. Keith turned to glare at his brother. “Who is this?” Shiro asked.
“Lance Mcclain.” Lance held out his hand with a grin.
“Wow, you actually came.” Shiro stated. “I’m Takashi Shirogane. Call me Shiro, please.” Lance chuckled.
“I’m a big fan of going to weddings. Congratulations on your big day.”
“I was coming to pull Keith away for just a second. We’re taking some pictures before the sun sets. Meet us at the gardens?” Shiro didn’t wait for Keith to answer before he was gone.
“Well, i got to meet one of the grooms.” Lance joked. Keith smiled. “Maybe you can find me after your pictures. It’s been nice talking to you.” Lance gave him one last smile before he too, disappeared into the crowd. Keith couldn’t stop grinning when he went to find his family. Shiro and Adam both smirked at him when they saw him.
“So, Keith, who was your friend?” Adam through an arm around him.
“Oh shut up. Let’s get this over with.” Keith blushed. They took a handful of pictures with the wedding party, before they turned to family photos. Allura kept shooting him smiles.
“What?” He spat.
“You two would make the cutest couple.” Keith blushed. “Don’t let it go.” When they had finished pictures, Keith couldn’t help craning his neck around to look for Lance. He spied him twirling around the dance floor with Pidge. They both had big grins on their faces. Hunk caught his eye and started walking over to him.
“Keith, right?” Hunk asked.
“Yea, it was nice to meet you.” Hunk smiled at him. “What?” Hunk shook his head and grinned.
“Lance and I have gone to a good number of weddings, but this by far the only wedding he has enjoyed this much.” Hunk said. They were both turned to the dance floor, watching Lance dance between Pidge and Allura. Keith smiled to himself. He watched as Lance excused himself from the dancing and slip out the back of the pavillion.
“Well you enjoy yourself, i’m going to get a drink.” Keith nodded to Hunk who just shook his head and went to join Pidge. Keith strolled over to the bar and grabbed two glasses and a bottle of champagne from bartender. He found Lance perched on the edge of the cliff, basking in the last few rays of the setting sun. Keith couldn’t help but stopping to stare at him. The light was catching on his lashes every time he blinked, giving him an ethereal feeling that took Keith’s breath away.
“Hey,” he called softly. Lance turned back to him with a grin.
“Oh, whatcha got there?” He asked. Keith held up the bottle sheepishly.
“I thought you might want a drink. And maybe some company?” He asked. Lance gestured to the ground next to him. Keith eased to the ground and handed Lance the glasses. He popped the cork and poured generously. Lance took a small sip of his.
“This is good champagne.” Lance said appreciatively.
“You haven’t had like thousand dollar bottles of champagne?” Keith asked. Lance shook his head.
“Dude, I’m just a boy from Cuba. I don't need to roll in the high life. The most important thing to me in my family.” He shrugged.
“Don’t call me dude. But i think that’s kind of amazing. You’re absolutely loaded and the only thing you want to do is be with your family? There’s no way you’re a real person.” Keith shook his head in disbelief.
“I can assure you, i am very real.” Lance bumped his shoulder.
“You never finished your thought earlier. Why are you going to sell your shares?” Keith asked.
“I love the ocean, and the company we started is amazing, but my sister is much more cut out for it. I want to meet people and go to random weddings.” Lance laughed. Keith couldn’t help but grin.
“Well i’m happy that you came to this random wedding.” Keith admitted. Lance sent him a sly grin.
“So, how many more hints do Hunk and I have to drop for you to kiss me?” Lance asked suddenly, turning to look at Keith. Keith’s eyes  widened and his mouth went dry.
“Maybe just one more.” Keith sputtered. Lance smirked.
“Well this is by far the best wedding i’ve attended. I’ve never had the opportunity to meet someone like you.” Keith could barely contain himself from leaning forward and gently capturing Lance’s lips. Lance’s lips were soft and incredibly sensual. Lance’s hand reached up and cupped Keith’s jaw, deepening the kiss. When they pulled away, neither could keep the grins away.
“So do you think you’d like to go out with me sometime?” Lance asked. Instead of answering, Keith leaned forward and captured his lips once more. He reached up to caress Lance’s cheek and marveled at how soft his skin was.
“I’ll take that as a yes,” Lance huffed as Keith pulled away. Keith just nodded, unable to form the words. They shared another soft smile. Lance held up his glass. “To random chance.” Keith gently tapped their glasses.
“To a new beginning.” Keith smiled and wrapped an arm around him. Lance rested his head on Keith’s shoulder and watched the last of the sun set.

(12:14) she changed her number recently and i havent deleted this one yet
(12:15) what did she do to deserve you kicking “the SHIT” out of her?
(12:15) (mildly concerning, by the way)
(12:17) she borrowed my homework to copy
(12:17) said she would give it back before my class started
(12:18) guess who DIDNT have their homework when it was being collected
(12:21) yikes.
(12:21) yeah, i’d be mad too.
(12:22) (its not concerning if shes my friend)
(12:22) depends. WILL you kick the shit out of her?
(12:23) no, ill probably just
(12:23) i dont know
(12:23) punch her arm
(12:30) see, that’s much better.
(12:32) your welcome, stranger
(12:32) i’m happy my friend-punishing isnt interfering with your morals
*********
(12:55) hello?
(12:55) was it because i called you stranger?
(12:55) because like
(12:56) no offense
(12:56) you are literally just someone i accidentally texted
*********
(2:18) oh, sorry.
(2:18) i had lunch and then class started and the teacher is really strict so
(2:18) you know.
(2:20) (why would I take offense to you calling me a stranger?)
(2:23) i dont know, maybe you wanted nudes
(2:23) girls dont send strangers nudes
(2:24) are you saying that once you get to know me you’re going to send me nudes???
(2:24) are you asking for them?
(2:25) gods, no.
(2:26) good, that response was cock-or-block for you
(2:26) HA
(2:27) I refuse to believe you were gonna pass up the opportunity to mess with me if I wanted nudes
(2:28) okay, fine, pop quiz
(2:28) an old dude asks you for nudes
(2:29) how do you most effectively mess with him?
(2:30) hmmmm.

(2:31) omegle
(2:31) WHY WAS I ON OMEGLE
(2:30) you wanted to make friends
(2:30) considering my life so far
(2:31) that’s not far off for me, I’ll take it.
(2:31) you can’t send pictures on omegle, though.
(2:31) i feel like youve had some extensive experience with omegle
(2:32) I may or may not have used it a little during...ninth grade?
(2:32) oh god you poor thing
(2:32) anyway
(2:32) he asks for your kik
(2:35) oh shit uh
(2:35) lovergirl420
(2:37) THATS the best you can come up with?
(2:37) the sex bot gods have deemed you unworthy
(2:38) guess I’ll be able to go on tumblr then.
(2:39) omg
(2:39) youre pretty funny, you know
(2:39) thank you, I aim to please.
(2:41) if you had stuck around for the end, “lovergirl420’ would only send pictures of shaggy.
(2:43) nude shaggy?
(2:47) why would you think I have nude shaggy on my phone????
(2:48) fair question, however
(2:48) why would you have regular shaggy on your phone?
(2:49) i expected better
(2:50) bold of you to assume shaggy didn’t just appear on my phone himself.
(2:51) that’s how powerful he is.
(2:53) i give that meme TWO more days
(2:54) then you’re being merciful
(2:54) i give it...a few more hours?
(2:56) youre underestimating the shaggy meme fandom
Tumblr media
(3:00) that is horrifying, holy crap.
(3:00) 1. did you have that on your phone (in which case, you have no right to judge me) or did you search it up?
(3:01) 2. thor threw his axe at purple mcwarlord when he had all the infinity stones and hurt him, HE is the strongest.
(3:06) youre telling me, i love him
(3:06) and no, i found it on google
(3:07) also “purple mcwarlord” lmao
(3:09) so, a list of things I know about you so far:
(3:09) you like thor
(3:10) you’re definitely on tumblr
(3:10) a number of dudes have been hurt because you messed with them on omegle
(3:10) you have no qualms about hurting your friends
(3:11) you hate apostrophes???
(3:14) ugh, im not gonna switch to the other keyboard just to put a little line between my letters
(3:14) don’t you switch for the comma?
(3:15) commas are worth it
(3:15) nice logic.
(3:16) i gotta go, my cousin is goading me into playing chess.
(3:18) cant say no to that
(3:18) but while youre gone
(3:18) heres what i know about YOU
(3:19) you suck at making fake kik names
(3:19) pacifist?? maybe??
(3:20) punctuation freak if i ever saw one
(3:20) more funny than the average person, honestly
(3:21) i’d like to keep talking to you if we’re not like, too far apart in age
(3:21) see, that was two apostrophes, just for you
*********
(5:34) I’m honored.
(5:40) did you win the chess game?
(5:42) I always do.
(5:43) oho, someones a bit of a braggart
(5:44) if you met my cousin, you’d understand.
*********
(11:03) I’m a 17 year old guy, by the way.
(11:04) and I’d like to keep talking too.
(11:20) huh
(11:20) im a 17 year old girl

(11:36) aaaand “viking” is your contact name now. thanks.
(11:39) so i guess were gonna keep talking?

(11:41) so, you know.
(11:42) call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me.
(11:43) did you really just send me off with the kim possible theme song
(11:43) if you just call my name!
(11:45) wow you’re a bit of a dork aren’t you?
(11:45) just a little bit.
