revivebur is touch sensitive but chases for any kind of touch imaginable- even if it's physical harm, he does not particularly care. but after dealing with ghostbur's gentle hands, he doesn't know if he can settle for lesser than that. ghostbur is very touchy, likes to swing their arms around people's necks to hug them from behind; likes to poke around; likes to put their hands over someone's arm. revivebur's not really used to it- the first time ended up badly. it happened when they were just meeting each other for the first time, where the first time ghostbur poked him for his attention after he zoned out- revivebur was quick to anger, and ever since then, ghostbur was wary at touching him.

guilt, was the first feeling that comes to revivebur, but he thought apologizing to ghostbur would be an admittance of weakness to some kind. and she was sure that she didn't want touch from them anyways

the second time ghostbur laid his hands on her, was when their relationship begins to soften. it's when ghostbur by nature tries to poke her but stops himself with an sorry frown on his face, then his eyes light up when revivebur taken notice of it, sighs, and then says as she averts her eyes away. "you can, go ahead." ghostbur was happy! yet they still remain wary,, afraid of obtaining a reaction like that again.

so when ghostbur tries to pat his back or do any form of touch, they made a habit of asking first. revivebur answers dryly, "you may."

when ghostbur tries to massage her shoulders and asks, revivebur answers tensely as if she had a tight gulp in her throat, "you may." - and allows herself a sigh of relief by when she realized the massages actually did wonders to her back.

when ghostbur tries to hold her hands and asks, revivebur answers with uncertainty clasping her tongue after a period of silence, "you may." then clasp her hands as soon as they held hands as if she's trying to prove to herself that she's anything but delicate.

when ghostbur tries to hold her arm and asks, revivebur answers surely and looks relaxed for once, "you may."

when ghostbur tries to hug her and asks, revivebur doesn't say much. she holds him without question, and is only after that she shakily says, "you may."

when revivebur kisses him for the first time, ghostbur was happy! the happiest ghost on the world- the others watching took it as a sign of blooming romance, but it wasn't revivebur's intention at all. she pulls away, fearing that she made a mistake- frantically asking if that was okay, after ghostbur settles him down. he giggles, "it's okay! you may kiss me." between both of them, they knew it was just a sign of the strong trust revivebur put in him.

Dustfeather gained no fans this issue, at least. "Whip them into shape" doesn't always imply physical abuse, it's more about imposing your own morals onto someone else, but it does often come along with those ideas.

A big part of Rainhaze's character is being torn between two worlds, and his feelings on Ranger are similarly divided. But at least he's made his choice now!

Guess that was a bad ending.
