The attack on Iran is not just Israel's fault, it's also islamic republic's fault. Governments and regimes acting only on their own self-interest, putting on displays, initiating attacks and then getting revenge and doing counterattacks as if all they want is to not be outdone by the other, AS IF INNOCENT PEOPLE AND CIVILIANS DO NOT EXIST IN THE EQUATION! This is our dictator regime's fault as much as it is Israel's (I'm not even going to get into Israel's role in this and its sheer audacity, what's obvious doesn't need pointing out.) Persians have rebelled against the IR regime again and again, calling them out on their acts of terrorism and their meddling in neighboring countries' affairs, and they got killed as a result. Iranians are not mad about the political and military figureheads that were killed, No. They are mad that their government's reckless and selfish actions have led to THIS, to getting bombed at 3 in the morning, innocent people suffering. We are scared and angry because when this leads to war, leaders and presidents and prime ministers and such are not the ones that will suffer. They can hide and run away and be protected at anytime. It's the ordinary people, innocent people, that will get caught in the crossfire.

So do not mistake us Iranians' rage and fear of these attacks as being sympathetic to the regime. No. We want them gone and you'd know that if you've been following the protests that had happened and have been happening. But we also don't want a war to wreck an already broken country and a people that are already being killed in their own land by their own leaders.

i really like the idea of the winners of each season continuing to live (alone) in each world they won in..i know all of them except scar canonically die at the end but just imagine. Grian lives (alone) in the desert. Scott has the Scottage (alone). Pearl stays in her tower (she doesnt even have Tilly). Martyn has the whole Limlife server and roams around scavenging (he cant bring himself to go back to the Mean Gills base after what he did). Scar obviously lives at Trader Scar's and Cleo has a tiny janky world with the little village (at least she has villagers for company, they suppose. It's better than nothing.)

And now Joel lives in his car next to a burnt and crumbling barn, alone.

I'm sure it's been discussed at length already but I think it's easy to assume saiyans are strong so their genes are dominant but I (like to) think it's the opposite. It's interesting to think that the ecological nature of a saiyan is stealthy and invasive, and according to Jaco a saiyan invasion was going to be extra dangerous to earth because they look like earthlings (and a lot of other human-like races in the db universe) and one baby saiyan will easily go completely undetected until it starts the extermination process.

so it actually makes a lot of sense to me that a saiyan hybrid would take more physical traits from a local species, while maintaining the potential to house a saiyan's strength and inborn power over ki (which I think due to the story following a group of people who use it is a thing we often forgotten is a super rare and dangerous ability in that universe, and inborn/instinctive to a select few very powerful races). Could also be a fun way to explain why their tails can detach and grow back, since that may be the only real Tell.

because like yeah gohan and goten look like goku but they also look like chichi ykwim? trunks and bulla look like bulma. pan looks like videl. thoughts i chew on.

I also just find parasitism a real good meaty horror concept to put in my little 'this is why everyone's afraid of saiyans' headcanon file along with 'can see in the dark, biologically strategic energy consumption, can go long periods without food or rest' and of course the canonical 'surprise monkey werewolf kaiju'

It's finally summer weather soooo extremely cheesy headcanons are coming right up!

This idea was born based on one garden-grown strawberry that tasted better than every single strawberry I've ever had in my life, a quick internet search, and inspired by that (1) rose I had which was an utterly unkillable plant (she grew up with a fern as her pot companion and they lived together for years on my sunless windowsill).

Normally houseplants keel over from a single excess waterdrop, but sometimes, a couple of them are so strong aura-ed, they survive through absolutely every single abuse a houseplant can suffer from. Some plants are just build different and want to outlive you to inherit the flat for themselves, y'know?

This is the 'Patty gifts Dante a pot or two of unkillable strawberry bushes and a little gardening equipment for them to grow with Minimal effort' silly idea post. Cause anything homegrown is just delicious.

So, Patty comes up with the idea to gift Dante some strawberry plants, but she knows how he is, and how irregular his working hours are, so she needs some very specific, very strong-willed bushes. Plants that just ooze the determination to live. This is a background project of hers without any real expectations or a set date, so first she finds some plants she can keep alive indoors herself, many can't pass even this simple threshold and it considerably lessens her motivation, but eventually she has a couple pots living on her window. But these plants are not for her, they are for Dante and so she starts outright torturing the survivors.

Forgetting to water them this week. Putting the flowers off the sunny window and onto the shaded one. (I don't remember the exact layout of the agency, but I don't think it's very sunny so a shade test is certainly needed). She needs the strongest plants there are. They also need to bear berries, of course, taste test is also important.

This abuse goes on for a while, till she is satisfied with the remaining plants, and then she gifts them to Dante. A little corner of the agency gets forcefully equipped with a shelf and some pots, auto-watering-per-pot system, and a sun lamp with an on/off schedule. Plants go into a not very obvious corner of the building in case of an in-house demon attack, so they don't get destroyed by a random demon on their first day in the agency. Dante only ever needs to add water to the watering system and keep the electricity on, and then he can enjoy some homegrown fresh berries.

In any other scenario, I think even this minimal amount of effort could not be expected of Dante, but post-dmc5-hell-return? With his brother in the agency and working on improving his relationships with his family? Yeah I think in this specific case he could do it. He still needs stickers everywhere and an alarm or two to not forget about the pots. Patty also semi-regularly tries to come visit, and she checks the plants each time.

I don't know who needs to hear this but smoking cigarettes in a non-smoking rental unit isn't cool or rebellious or "aesthetic", you're just an inconsiderate asshole and you're ruining the place for all future tenants because I can guarantee no landlord is EVER going to put in the work necessary to get that smell out of the walls once it's in there. you're not sticking it to anyone in authority, you're just making the available options worse for other people who are gonna need a place to live in the future and can't afford to be that picky

I can guarantee you that 2 days before Thanksgiving, one of Maddie's late night cravings sent Howie to the supermarket for cottage cheese, pineapple, and watermelon ("it's not even that weird, Chim!") and while there, he just happened to run into a particularly haggard looking Tommy, who said he was shopping for his Thanksgiving meal, but all he had in his basket were two trays of cookies, an entire pumpkin pie, 2 pints of ice cream, and a bottle of bourbon.
