Of peers, studying, and attitude.

As a child, my mom noticed that I was a child who was "smarter" or rather, learns faster-- than my peers. In fact, even today my mom would always boast that when I was only 7 months old, my development as an infant was already that of a 1yr old+ baby.

So I suppose I wasn't really a gifted child.. I'm no genius. But I suppose I have always been "above average."

In turn, my mom focused on my studies while I was growing up. She was always there to teach and tutor me.. do my homework with me.. even force me to study and finish my homework when really, all I wanted was to play or watch television. I remember I used to throw LOTS of tantrums.. but she always got her way. I ended up studying anyway.. and because of that, I had become a "smart kid."

When I was in 1st grade.. I was already 4th of my class. In 2nd grade, I had become 2nd (I think..). And by 3rd grade.. and 4th grade.. I had reached rank 1. I'm not really boasting. Just stating a fact. I mean, I still did play and watched lots and lots of anime but I also studied AS MUCH... thanks to my mom's help.. I didn't really mind the fact that I was "the best." I mean... THAT WAS A GOOD THING.

That was until... somewhere along the way, my peers started to view me as someone different. It was all child's play but it can't be denied that I developed major, and I mean MAJOR, side effects.

I became alienated. I was the rich kid, the popular kid, the teacher's pet, and the smart kid.. all rolled into one. What a perfect child. When the mothers of my peers started saying "Ah.. I wish she had been my daughter.." Well.. that's when things started. I suppose it wasn't my peers' fault but that of their twisted mothers' way of giving their child a challenge.. but that's another story and another rant..

So I became alienated. It hurt back then. So much.. that I developed the habit of being carefree-- too carefree-- and lazyyyy.. having an appearance and outward attitude of: "Ah.. I don't wanna study. Studying is lame.." etc.

That was the beginning of the "life-experiment" that is the main point of this blog. I had become too carefree-- all I wanted was to play.. and watch anime. Forever. And it didn't help that I was "smart" because all I had to do was maybe read the topic three times and never study it again and basically get perfect scores on exams. Indeed, I had it the easy way. And thus, I became lazy.

Then I went to the US. 5th grade. New environment.. new life. New culture. I suppose I was culture-shocked... in what I like to think as a good way.

Because we were only starting and was basically dirt poor, my school was located on what you'd call a "ghetto" neighborhood. I mean, it wasn't bad.. but it was on the ghetto side of the city. I started being independent then.. but not too much. Still pretty dependent.. but hey, I used to take the bus to school. THAT never happened before. Haha! :P

And what can I say? I LOVED IT. I fell in love in one of the aspects of American Culture-- the "don't mind others' business" part. Suddenly, my classmates no longer cared if I was smart. They didn't care who my friends were. I was me. I was just.. me. No labels attached.

And it had a positive effect on my psyche. I had become.. apathetic towards what others think of me. I just learned not to care anymore. That was good.. because the next year.. I came back home. And the people I left behind, hadn't changed. But I did. So while the labels became reattached.. I didn't care anymore and lived my life.. the way I wanted to. Without being concerned with what others thought of me-- a principle that I, up to this date 10 years later, still live by. And I'm proud to say that yes. I don't care about what other people think of me.

2 Things then: (a) I had become lazy. (b) No longer affected by how others saw me. One positive, and one negative effect.

Then came the 3rd happening.. which resulted in a negative effect. "8th grade". I had become alienated again. But unlike before, though I no longer cared about what other people thought of me.. Deep inside.. I still had this urge to make them like me. I suppose it was the hormones thing.. I was around 12 at the time.. So what did le 12 year-old me did?

I started to TRY and CHANGE myself.. catering towards what people would LIKE me to do. Peer pressure is indeed a scary thing!

The negative effects? I became rough and rowdy with my body language, hand gestures, and even the way I walked-- So they wouldn't see me as a ladylike person. To remove the shy image.

I started to talk a lot with cuss words. YES! I cussed a lot. Just so they would think I was just like any other person. To remove the rich kid label.

I had become arrogant in my choice of words. Joined them in badmouthing teachers and class gossips. So they'd think I didn't care about studies and hated school.

I even forgone fashion! Yes. Believe it or not. I started dressing up in the worst combinations. I didn't care about what I wore. Just to remove the popular kid label.

THAT DIDN'T WORK THOUGH. Because I was still the smartest kid in class at Rank 1. (Yeah. Nice try, Kid Me.)

So after a lot of drama and angst... I ran to America. Back to the culture I loved. Back to where I can be myself and stop myself from permanently becoming the person that I had become.

But that was around 2004. That was when the mainstream music and feel and mood of American adolescents were.. emo. And I. Happily embraced the culture. Inwardly.

No, I didn't wear eyeliners. Didn't dress in black (Actually wore lots of white back then). Didn't have piercings or tattoos. No drugs. No alcohols. No emo slash-wrist blogs.

But I did rejoice in the idea of.. loneliness.

Then I met friends. Good friends. And they sorta kept me sane enough. I was still pretty emo inside but I was happy. Very happy. Being "emo" was not the major state of mind that I had. It became limited.. and erased it even. (Thanks, guys! I love you!!) Now, being emo is just a distant past in my memories. Oh, and I'm still pretty familiar with the emo songs of that era.. but my affinity to the subculture remains at that.

Hanging out with my friends.. I had become myself. Again. Just like how I was in 5th grade. Oh, and I was still smart. Except now in high school, not even once did my mom do anything with my studies. They actually never attended the parent-teacher meetings too. LOL.

They trusted me. And it wasn't blind trust either. My first two years of high school was 100% straight As. Then I took AP classes.. so the laziness that I had wasn't able to properly cope with that.. hence me resulting in lower grades in the last 2 years, but hey! I still graduated as a CSF/Honor Society member and a guaranteed acceptance to UC Davis and UC Merced, so whatever! :P

Then college happened. I was still as lazy as ever. But I had become carefree and.. apathetic. Yes, I fully embraced the culture of apathy and going with the flow. SOOO much.. that I had no concrete plans for my future after college. I actually chose my major at random too. Like I didn't really care. Just going with the flow. So naturally.. I wasn't very interested in the subject matter. Thus.. I only studied enough to pass.. but still failed most of the time. Went out with friends. Prioritized unimportant things like anime/jdrama/kdrama over studying. SOOO bad. That I was actually dismissed once, the reason for which is having been on probation for 2 semesters.

Yes.. that was the time when.. I didn't really care if I passed or failed anymore. Because I had given up on learning. On my future.

I had become a goalless individual.

A fleeting existence.

Alive, but with no future.

Hopes and dreams didn't matter anymore. They didn't exist. I had began living in the moment. Not planning ahead. At all.

Then my college best friend and most of my batch mates graduated college. While I.. still had unfinished units left. That was a wake up call.

So I did my best. And was able to graduate on time (Yeah, I was trying to finish a 4-year course in 3.5 years.. -__-)

So yay! But now I'm a medical student.. I'm still failing.. Then I realized. The problem was.. MY ATTITUDE.

In high school.. I blamed the environment. My peers. The culture.

In college, I placed my blame on the fact that I was not really interested in my major. At all. I never considered a career in that field. It makes sense. How could I do well in a major I didn't even like?

Now.. I have nothing to blame. Because I want to be a doctor. Yet.. I'm still failing. Yes. Attitude problem. Too much laziness, distractions, and confidence on my part.

And I'm trying to change. Laziness had become a habit. So I must counter it by developing a new habit-- the habit of being studious.

And so.. the point of this blog is?

It doesn't matter if you hang out with the worst crowd or graduate in a good school.

In the end, it's your decision.

Your future.

Your call.

The Reading Center and Urban Ventures celebrate three years of partnership

Urban Ventures is in its third year of a fruitful partnership with The Reading Center, based in Rochester, Minnesota. The Reading Center (TRC) is the only nonprofit in the region that offers a full array of services for dyslexic students and their families, including tutoring and training for teachers and parents. Over the years, they have trained 2,500 adults and educators in the Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach and helped 14,000 students improve their reading ability.

Kendra Peterson is the Director of Reading Plus, Urban Ventures’ literacy intervention program. Her connection to The Reading Center began when her son was diagnosed with dyslexia. Kendra is an experienced classroom teacher with a Master’s Degree who felt she still needed more tools and training to help her son learn to read. She enrolled in TRC’s Basic Orton-Gillingham Institute to train as an Academic Language Therapist, going on to complete the Advanced Institute as well. In 2018 Kendra pitched piloting the Reading Plus afterschool program at Urban Ventures, utilizing The Reading Center’s OG teaching approach to provide high quality reading instruction to UV students who are behind grade-level in reading.

The program started with 12 students and 1 OG tutor. It has grown tremendously, now serving over 100 kids in just 3 years with 5 UV tutors trained by TRC working with small groups. Each student attends two-1 hour reading sessions a week after school at UV or onsite at one of our partner schools during the day. Scaling the program to meet the demand has not been easy, but Kendra shared that it is worth the work, and the support provided through the partnership with TRC has made it possible. Kendra has watched her students gain confidence and recently heard from one of her student’s teachers that one developing reader just handed in the best essay in the whole class!

The Reading Plus program helps students in 1st-8th grade improve their reading. This year it was discovered that there were a handful of 5th and 6th grade students enrolled in the program who, despite their motivation and hard work, were nonreaders or were too far behind their peers to realize success in the small OG groups.

To help these students catch up, TRC tutor, Jenna Bergendahl began 1:1 intensive tutoring for 3 students twice weekly for 1-hour sessions, beginning this January. Even after a short time the students have made great strides. For the first time, one of her student’s learned how to spell his last name and Jenna smiled as she heard him go and announce it to a teacher in another room. Another student took home a reading game to play with his dad and the third has been motivated by learning to read books about soccer.

Jenna was previously an early childhood educator at a dual language school. She enrolled in TRC’s Basic OG Training in 2020, shortly after her son was diagnosed with dyslexia. Now she is not only helping her son learn to read using the OG approach, but she is also able to share her talents with her community. Jenna lives within biking distance to UV and is thrilled that her oldest son has even been able to participate in UV programs while she is tutoring.

Partnerships like this are key to the success of our community. As Cindy Russel, director of The Reading Center, said, “Urban Ventures has been a delight to work with, always focused on the needs of their students,” adding that TRC loves sharing in the success of the students.

i am in quite an unexplainable mood. turns out the exam that was supposed to be taken on the 5th has been postponed to the 18th- so not really the most hyped. i guess this is going to be another month of maths ( and here i was thinking after the final exam being over on the 5th, i would be able to go back home in the countryside and finally- finally spend some actual proper time with my family before classes restart on the 1st of january )

it is currently 06:48 pm here and i am here preparing the pdf file i would be presenting in my tutoring session tomorrow to the junior students, while listening to music ( basically just 5sos on repeat ). the entire day today was raining heavily and omg i was?? so happy?? i simply love the rain and it's been so long since it rained and i just sat on my desk, with my small blanket wrapped around me and of course, a big cup of chocolate milk ( with a slice of the chocolate cake my mom baked yesterday ) and started reading the pdf of 'The Cruel Prince' finally ( where i live, i can't get the actual copy of it from anywhere so pdf is the only option sigh ). i would have honestly read more if only i hadn't had to go out gosh. currently going to read chapter five after i finish the pdf file i am working on.

Rakepick: As far as things go with Rakepick, her entire duration as a professor always rubbed Konn the wrong way. He hated her secrecy and interference with the Vaults. He begrudgingly worked with her to gain information and to find his brother, mostly using her as she used him.

Snape: He is mostly disliked due to the toxic relationship he develops with Konn. Always pushing Konn to higher standards than everyone else in unachievable ways, Konn always felt the need to meet them as Snape showed he cared for him and was his HoH. As someone afraid of failure, this was always something that stressed Konn. (Not to mention Snape always praises Merula.)

Towards the start, Talbott wanted nothing to do with Konn. He found him dangerous and obssessive, his constant trouble-making with the Vaults always causing him to worry.

Konn crushed on him first after seeing how he worked with Transfiguration and learned he was an Animagus.

In attempts to get Talbott to notice him and strike jealousy, Konn asked Tonks to be his fake date to the ball. This rouse failed miserably as Talbott just thought they were dating.

During 5th year, Konn finally confessed how he felt. Talbott had his reserves, but agreed to a first date.

They compliment each other really well. Both specializing in the same areas, Talbott’s cool and collected often soothes Konn’s rampant lack of control, while Konn often convinces Talbott to come out of his shell.

While still chasing Talbott, over a summer, Konn and Hal have a brief fling before realizing they’re more like brothers and wondering what the hell they were thinking.

BACKGROUND/HISTORY

As an infant, Konnor was nannied by an elderly woman hired through services. She was strict and cold, pushing his incredibly young mind to work before it was ready. This was when he showed signs of being a metamorphmagus, always seeming to scare the living daylights out of the woman who could never keep up with walking into a room and seeing a different baby each time.

By the time Konnor had turned four, Allston was his primary caretaker. The two brothers were inseparable, always learning, exploring. They had great fun teasing all the teachers and incoming caretakers together. It just so happened, they also took more fun in seeing how much they could milk from their parents. Pizzas every night, horror movies on the screen. It was through fun, companionship, and love that Konn shaped and grew into a more controlled state. He was smart, always pushing Allston to teach him more and more. It got quite lonely once Allston began going to Hogwarts and leaving all year save for holidays and summer, but they wrote religiously and Konnor would always be bouncing and ready to beg his brother to share all he’d learned during the year once he returned.

Hogwarts. At this stage in Konnor’s life, it was finally his turn to go to the grand school he’d been itching to attend ever since his brother had… but it came bittersweet. Allston had never come home to celebrate his acceptance letter. Had never come home to prep, to plan, to discuss what happened that year. He’d vanished, and with it he took most of Konn’s excitement and control. As emotions ran rampant in the boy, he started his years at the school a freak. Lonely. They all talked about his brother, the expectations for himself. There was little love or care in what he did save for seeking out his brother. Many may say he grew jaded, untamed, obsessive. There was only one thing that really clung to his heart, the fennec fox his brother had left behind for him as a pet.

Indirectly, his parents taught him many things. Konnor, at heart, grew to be quite frugal, never taking advantage of anything given to him (lest it was another gift from his father that meant nothing at all). He was also taught what family really meant, that it was between those who meant something to you and should be protected at all costs. Though on a much opposite end, he also found he had to work twice as hard for any recognition, always pushing himself above and beyond to be anything great. Especially when he had Allston to impress.

After leaving Hogwarts at the end of his schooling, Konn went on reunited with his brother in full. While Allston never rejoined the wizarding world fully, becoming something of a vigilante to hunt down those that’d wronged him and threatened his family, Konn began avidly seeking out the Order. He was quickly accepted as a spy, doing frequent operation work while maintaining a line on his brother and making sure he stayed out of danger.

At one point, he was approached by a Death Eater, and nearly underwent necessary precaution to become a double agent, but Allston, Hal, and Talbott quickly ushered against the idea of their brother, friend, and lover being marred permanently by a symbol and risking his life more than he already did.

During the heat of the war, Konn asked Talbott to always be his. They then promised each other that once the battle and hardships were over, they’ll consider marriage and having a family together. However, it is quickly discovered it wouldn’t be so simple.

It is found out that in Konn and Allston’s attempts to bring their father to justice that he’s murdered in order to keep whatever secrets he might have had. This is then promptly framed on Allston who it catches up to later alongside much of his vigilante practices. When faced with the hard decision to persecute his own brother, Konn instead begs Talbott to help him remove Allston’s memories and give him a normal life. Removing all of Allston’s memories and replacing them with something much more mundane, they move Allston to America where he’s finally free from the perils of the wizarding world.

Konn never appears to be the same after losing his brother for good, but lives the rest of his life working and watching out for any oncoming threats. He and Talbott eventually do settle down with two adopted children together.

- PERSONALITY -

Protective: Konn is protective of his loved ones to a fault. Deep rooted with paranoia, he is constantly fretful for his loved ones and does everything in his power to keep them safe while still trudging through the hell that is their experience in Hogwarts and beyond. He’s quick to jump at the defense of his friends and family, not afraid to risk his own hide in the process should it be necessary.

Short Tempered: Of his many rampant emotions, anger is the quickest one to flare and show. Anytime he’s frustrated or annoyed, someone is bound to know. Whether it be his shortness or the flaming red hair, you’re welcome to take your pick of context. He’s very quick to annoy and while true anger from him is hard to achieve, petty anger and annoyance is almost constant. Droning noises, interruptions, and blatant stupidity are all quick to grate his nerves.

Stubborn: Konn has never been one to back down from anything, and he never intends to. Driven by a need to prove himself and inability to let something go, he will see something through to the very end. This allows him all the qualities of a hard worker. He gives everything his all without any intention of slowing or stopping. Sometimes this also means doing the work for others if they can’t keep up.

Intelligent/Cunning: While irritating on many levels when he tries to be the smartest person in the room, Konnor truly is smart. He often gets things faster than most and while conventional learning is useless, his hands on learning style allows him to learn on the fly. He almost always has an answer for everything and uses this to aid himself and his friends whenever they’re caught in a bad situation. He also consistently keeps good grades on everything while at Hogwarts.

Ambitious: It’s no surprise as a Slytherin that Konn tends to aim high. Though not in the standard many may think, he doesn’t want glory or fame or money. His ambitions are often geared towards his power and loved ones. Whether it be proving to the world he can take down the Vaults and save his brother, getting all his loved ones out alive, furthering his own power, or even taking down R himself. He’s the kind to look at a challenge and want nothing more than to conquer it.

Loyal: Alongside his protectiveness, Konn would never leave someone he cared for behind. He’s not even the type to leave someone he cared very little for behind. Including Merula on some occasions. As far as Konn is concerned, the only person allowed to bully his people are him. He is quick to rise to any occasion to stick by and protect his friends. Should they need a hand in battle, to get out of detention, or simply a shoulder to cry on, he tries to always be there.

MISC

Konn lives in Bloomsbury, London when not attending Hogwarts in the Rainwater family home and often invites his friends over to stay with him during the summer.

He’s attempted to play many instruments including the violin, flute, and piano but never felt it was for him in the end and lost his touch if he ever acquired it.

Despite never having much room to prove it, he is a huge animal lover and adored his time working with Magical Creatures, often wishing he’d spent more time dedicating to it.

Konn was born with awful vision, but as he learned to control his metamorphmagus abilities, his eyesight also varied and improved.

No one is really sure whether his metamorphmagus abilities were inherited or not.

Konn comes from a small family of only two uncles, an aunt, and three cousins on his dad’s side of the family. His mother was an only child.

He listens to 80′s rock religiously after Hal introduced him to muggle music and what he learned was called a ‘cassette player’. Hal let him use it once and never got it back.

While his family is rich, spending money stresses Konn out.

Much like his mother, he developed a knack for writing, however exclusively keeps it as a hobby

He let Hal try to teach him to shoot a gun once. He bruised his shoulder and after promptly startling himself into a new shape, vowed never to use one again.

Konn has never lost a game of Monopoly in his life.

After Rowan’s death, Konn blames Ben and fosters an incredible hatred for the boy after.

Charmed (CW) Timeline

SEASON 1 (COMPLETED)

So I've managed to put together somewhat of a timeline, or at the very least I've managed to list how many days are in each episode via the dialogue and costume changes that take place.

SEASON 1

EP 1 - Pilot

July 20th, 2018 (Friday)

Mel and Maggie head out, leaving their mom home alone on a Friday night.

Mel texts Niko at exactly 8:23PM, Maggie on the other hand is followed by Brian but leaves him to walk through the woods to the university.

Later that night they are texted by Marisol, and Mel swings by to pick up Maggie from the Kappa party.

22nd October, 2018 (Monday - Exactly 3 months after would be the 20th, but it would be a Saturday)

3 months after the death of Marisol, Macy officially starts work in Hilltowne. Mel is a graduate student and a teaching assistant, perhaps following in her mother’s footsteps.

The detectives chat with Mel and after they leave that evening Mel and Maggie argue only for Macy to arrive to meet them for the first time. Macy was told her mother died when she was 2 and keeps a photo of her mother holding her as a baby.

23rd October, 2018 (Tuesday)

The next day at 9:45am, Maggie is at Kappa and her powers start. Not soon after leaving Harry kidnaps the girls and introduces himself as their whitelighter in their attic.

At 8:42pm Maggie texts Brian and heads out into the woods. Macy is at the lab and Mel is letting Niko in, allowing them to reconcile the relationship.Maggie is attacked by a demon dog during her walk in the woods and gets home before Niko and Mel can even undress.

Not soon after Macy comes over to look over the green goo Maggie had on her from the demon dog. Maggie in the meantime has showered (understandably) and even Mel after saying goodbye to Niko, seems to have changed clothes. After arguing with Mel, Maggie gets kidnapped by some uni boys. Maggie texts them at 9:30pm to let them know she was taken to Phi Delta Upsilon and is hiding in the bathroom.

Later that night after saving Maggie and dealing with their first demon, they watch home videos. Maggie has changed once again, and they all fall asleep in Marisol’s room, everyone except Macy who realises something.

24th October, 2018 (Wednesday)

Macy didn’t go to sleep and instead stayed up all night in the attic. Mel’s already headed off to the protest.

Later that day, after defeating Taydeus that morning, Macy brings over her stuff so she can move in.

EP 2 - Let This Mother Out

24th October, 2018 (same night as the previous episode - Wednesday)

After the ouija board and Harry’s appearance, Maggie talks with Macy as Macy starts unpacking in Marisol’s (soon to be Macy’s) room.

25th October, 2018 (Thursday)

The next morning Macy is repairing the truth serum during breakfast before work.

Maggie goes to the hospital with the Kappa girls and afterwards has Brian come over to help her relax.

Macy comes back after seeing Harry at the hospital, wiping the woman’s memory. She then comes home to see her sisters with the ouija board. Thermostats are swapped unknowingly.

Macy is having tea with Harry and it's nearly 4:30pm. The other two sisters have summoned the trickster demon.

It's gotten dark outside and is now almost 5OR6:50pm, Harry is getting suspicious with Macy. He orbs the two of them but not soon after gets knocked out by Mel. Apparently the woman dragged him downstairs into the living room before setting off on their journey to get the prism.

After the demon is vanquished and Harry leaves, the sisters seem to take a photo together, as seen posted by Maggie in the next episode.

26th October, 2018 (Friday)

Maggie goes and sees Brian while he's working.

Witch training starts at 2pm as it's the day after the imposter demon.

That night Maggie posts a picture of the three of them while helping Mel sort through Marisol’s stuff and helps Macy find space for hers.

Angela Wu seems to have woken up.

EP 3 - Sweet Tooth

29th October, 2018 (Tuesday)

Witch training is a go. Lucy had to move up the pledge meeting and it's going to start in 10 minutes according to a text. It's dark outside.

The Harbinger kills Cam.

Later that night/early morning Mel is up reading the Book of Shadows and Niko (who had obviously been sleeping over) comes up to see what she’s doing in the attic.

31st October, 2018 (Wednesday)

It's officially Halloween. Macy is making breakfast telekinetically, not knowing Niko is there. She plans on baking lots of sugar cookies before work.

Maggie has her shift, it's around lunch time since the man is ordering chicken or whatever and the Kappa ladies are having mimosas. Mel is at work at the university and is handing out the sugar cookies. Macy is also at work in the lab and hasn’t dressed up in a costume.

After her shift Maggie picks up halloween stuff for the party she has planned. Macy is taking the bus to go shopping before heading home. Mel intercepts the possessed Angela (while she watches Macy get on said bus) and takes her back to her dorm. After talking to and having her try a sugar cookie, Mel runs into Niko there before heading home.

Mel and Macy get home around the same time and Harry arrives shortly after. Maggie has used the glamour spell on basically the whole house in the meantime.

The Harbinger kills its next victim while the party is happening at the Vera house. Maggie takes Macy to her room to use the glamour spell on her after seeing her arrive in her costume.

Mel gathers them all together once learning from Niko that there has been another murder. The Harbinger arrives.

Protection spell doesn’t work so they try to lure the demon into the woods.

Party must end in and around 12am to fit into the Cinderella narrative Lucy compliments.

1st November, 2018 (Thursday)

Early hours, Mel is putting her costume away and she tells Niko (who had to leave the party due to the body found) to not bother coming over. All sisters are in their pajamas and they head to where Harry is keeping watch of the Harbinger in the attic.

EP 4 - Exorcise Your Demons

1st to the 4th of November, 2018 (Thursday to Sunday)

The sisters take turns watching the harbinger.

5th of November, 2018 (Monday - Originally had it written as the 2nd of November but Trip’s death date screws that)

That morning Macy is playing around with the dead rat. Harry arrives then leaves once the detectives arrive and then Charity arrives.

The trio head to work/school. Maggie has world literature, a class that she has been failing and is having midterms for. Lucy volunteers Parker to be Maggie’s tutor. Macy is secretly testing the rat while at work.

Mel is back home using a spell on the Harbinger. After a disagreement with Charity she goes and picks Maggie up from the university….with the harbinger in the trunk. Mel and Maggie chain the harbinger to a float in one of the university storage facility things. Harry arrives, Macy is back with Charity at the house but leaves after getting a text to meet them.

It's dark now and Maggie has to go out and distract Parker while the other two have already gone to go get supplies. Not soon after the harbinger breaks free and Harry has Maggie use the compass to call Charity. The other two get back just in time with the gloves and stuff from the labs.

They cast the exorcism spell and after getting it out they discover Trip killed. Charity handles it while Harry takes Angela and the girls back to the house.

Sometime during the night/next day Alistair gets his hands on the paint bucket via Charity.

6th of November, 2018 (Tuesday)

Parker turns up to the house to see Maggie. Mel and Macy are still in their pajamas. Niko comes over and Mel is trying to console her about Trip.

EP 5 - Other Women

7th of November, 2018 (Wednesday)

At least 2 days since Angela Wu was saved and Harry having moved in.

Macy is having a bath in the early hours of the morning, which is when Harry goes to. The commotion awakes the other sisters.

Later that day Mel takes Niko to Trips grave, it says on the tomb that he died on the 5th of November.

Macy is at work and meets Alistair. She sees Galvin with Summer. Meanwhile Mel wants her and Niko to get away that weekend after hearing about her being put on leave.

Maggie is with Lucy having a coffee, probably around lunch.

Mel and Niko are having dinner later.

8th of November, 2018 (Thursday)

Mel is talking to Niko at lunch and accidentally gives Niko a key piece of information. Maggie gets back from shopping at the gap. She’s supposed to have been hunting for whoever Parker cheated on Lucy with. She finds Macy stalking Summer only. Maggie reckons it was only days ago Macy and Galvin were kissing. They go up to Macy’s room to talk about Summer, Harry joins without pants.

Niko finds Trip’s cabin that night and is saved by Mel and taken to the hospital. Meanwhile Maggie and Macy are at the haunt, talking with Summer and Galvin.

Harry and Mel talk while Niko sleeps in the hospital bed. After Hunter attacks them and flees Mel goes home with Niko and changes, Harry however is still in the same clothes. She texts her sisters to come home, who both were at Galvin’s. Mel wants to cast the arcadian smokescreen spell.

Prepping for the spell takes a bit. The other two sisters cast while Mel says goodbye.

9th of November, 2018 (Friday)

Mel is checking Niko’s social media during breakfast, which Harry has cooked. Maggie invites Harry into their little family.

Maggie tells Lucy the truth before classes it seems. Mel and Harry head to work, but Mel doesn’t have a job anymore due to the spell’s consequences.

Macy apologises to Galvin at his place, to get a copy of his glowing mark.

EP 6 - Kappa Spirit

23rd of November, 2018 (Friday - Originally had it written as the 11th because I didn’t think that much time could have passed after the spell with Niko)

Mel’s still in bed moping and mourning her loss of relationship with Niko.

They head to the Haunt with Harry. Their server was Ashley. All up they spend $44 after having ordered a pint of old arrow pale ale, a pint of blind fox hef (hefeweizen) and 7 mojitos. According to the date on the receipt, it's the 24th, which would be a Saturday. Considering the next episode is somehow the 25th, I’m guessing they’re given the receipt sometime after 12am, making it technically the next day. I know nothing about the USA traditions but apparently the 23rd was Black Friday, making Thanksgiving the day before?

Lucy unknowingly summons Brenda.

24th of November, 2018 (Saturday)

It’s initiation week, Maggie would have been a full kappa if she hadn’t screwed things up with Lucy.

Maggie meets Brenda and later discovers she is from 1989 with Mel. Marisol is seen, very much pregnant with Macy.

That night is Galvin’s birthday party at the Renzi room on campus.

Days ago Harry was actually told that the sisters didn't actually need added protection by the elders but he wanted to stay with them regardless.

Later, after saving Lucy and finding out about Macy's inner darkness, the sisters bring Harry into their sisterhood, since he plans on moving back into his condo. Pange Lingua from Churches: Ecclesiastican Zajaczek is being played during the sisterhood ceremony.

Hunter steals Macy’s blood from the lab.

Macy later finds the box with the key hidden in the post on the front verandah/porch. Probably real late at night, if not early hours of morning.

EP 7 - Out of Scythe

25th of November, 2018 (Sunday)

Maggie has Harry’s orb and is awoken that morning by Mel. Macy wears the key after finding it a week ago.

Mel’s thesis proposal was apparently due six weeks ago and I’m guessing it's for the job Harry’s trying to get Mel to go for. She could have potentially been already given an extension or allowed to apply late.

Macy meets Julia once she gets to work.

Lucy gives Parker and Maggie the green light.

Mel meets Jada at the Haunt while she’s working on her thesis. When Mel goes to google duo with Maggie, her phone says it's 1:24pm and that it's Sunday, the 25th of November.

Leon the satyr arrives soon after Maggie ends the call with Mel. And yet it shows that it's gotten dark by the time that the rest of the gang gather to help the unconscious man onto the couch. One would think Maggie wouldn’t just leave some random guy there for a few hours while she waits for her family to get there?

They party with the satyr that night.

26th of November, 2018 (Monday)

Next morning they're hungover. Harry’s watch says it's about 7:45am when he’s making the hair of the dog.

Maggie’s having a date with Parker, probably around lunch time since Macy and Galvin have a coffee together.

Now evening, Maggie goes to apologise to Parker but witnesses him injecting himself with something and leaves.

The gang head to the fertility clinic to stop the shadow demon.

Harry reveals his entomophobia once the bees arrive after they get back from the clinic.

The shadow demon attacks later, and Jada arrives to steal the scythe.

They sit down and discuss what just happened and Mel refuses to be healed.

27th of November, 2018 (Tuesday)

Macy confronts her boss about not firing Galvin. Not really sure when this occurs, kind of screws with my outline for the next episode.

Maggie plans on signing up for next semester as a psych major. Parker stops by to explain things.

EP 8 - Bug a Boo

The charmed ones hunt Jada without Harry’s help for some reason. Jada uses the scythe. Personally, it makes more sense for this scene to be a continuation of the night from the last episode, when Jada first gets the scythe, simply due to the fact that we have no idea how the girls found Jada in the first place. Plus it allows this episode to flow better in my opinion.

27th of November, 2018 (Tuesday - continued from the last episode despite outfit changes?)

That morning Charity is there.

Maggie heads to AptitudeMatch.

Macy stays late at work.

A person goes missing.

28th of November, 2018 (Wednesday)

A crime scene is taped off where the person went missing. Mel, Charity and Harry investigate, unknowingly being watched by Jada.

Macy and Maggie seem to be having breakfast or atleast coffee together in the kitchen. It says it's nearly 8am on the wall clock.

That night as Mel takes out Haunts trash, Jada and her chat. Jada gives Mel back the shards of the scythe.

After work Mel (seemingly having changed out of her work clothes) talks to Charity. Apparently she destroyed the scythe all by her lonesome, which always bothered me, but I guess the writers couldn’t have them using it to bust Harry out in the next episode onwards.

Harry and Charity share a moment. Macy is still at work.

Maggie goes on a date with Parker while Macy is looking over the stuff the demon left behind at the crime scene after getting home from work.

The girl that was next to Maggie and Parker gets taken by the demon, who was her date.

Macy goes out on her date with Wes who has been texting her since she was back home from work.

The last time three people went missing from Hilltowne was December 28th, 2001. Macy is the last victim.

The sisters wait in Macy’s room as she takes a shower after the whole ordeal.

29th of November, 2018 (Thursday)

Mel it at work, probably around midday when Jada turns up to stop a mugging. Mel’s wearing the same outfit as the last time Jada showed up to her work, so maybe it really is her work clothes? Jada is in the same outfit too though....

Mel is in Harry’s office, looking for Charity’s compass to summon her. She’s taken to see the Elders.

That night Macy is at the haunt planning to have a date with Galvin who never makes it. Originally I was going to make it at least a week after the whole Cicada demon ordeal but maybe Macy wasn’t that phased by it.

Mel uses Jada’s spell to reveal the Sarcana in the tattoo parlor and gets knocked out.

EP 9 - Jingle Hell

29th of November, 2018 (same night as previous episode - Thursday)

Mel wakes up from being knocked out and learns about initiation. She goes back to the attic to tell Maggie and Harry, who the latter is getting out the christmas decorations. Apparently decorations are typically put up in late November or early December, usually to coincide with the start of Advent.

24th of December, 2018 (Monday - Disclaimer: I personally don’t celebrate Christmas, so I don’t know if they’d be opening gifts 12am Christmas morning or 12am Boxing day but to me it would make more sense to be the 24th.)

They're setting up the Christmas Tree.

Harry has been feeding his Christmas cake brandy for the last three weeks.

Ray is driving from Minneapolis, having been in Japan and is supposed to be there by 4pm.

Galvin arrives and apparently there's a chance of a blizzard. It's getting closer to 4pm. Broken legs take around eight weeks to heal, I doubt he was in hospital that long and simply hasn’t been at work or around Macy, whose no doubt also been avoiding him because she blames herself for asking him on the date in the first place.

Shit unknowingly starts going sideways and Mel is texted by Jada for initiation. Parker arrives and Maggie let's him know they open presents at midnight.

In the time it takes to make the phone call to Mama Roz and for Macy to be knocked out and replaced, Harry has fallen asleep from the coquito.

It's well after 4pm, as Maggie is getting antsy until her dad finally texts that he's not coming. Maggie and Parker go to her room. Mel sees him remove the necklace and tells the other sister aka Hunter.

It’s now dark outside. Mel wakes up Harry and takes him to the attic to look through the Book of Shadows. Parker goes to tell Maggie about the danger but Galvin needs help with the toilet. Then the shit really hits the fan. The Sarcana crows effectively scare off Hunter.

Maggie is taken by Parker but she walks back to the house where Galvin is asleep in the den and somehow it's midnight.

25th of December, 2018 (Tuesday)

It's past midnight and Harry has a small gift for each of them. Hunter, then Parker, arrive once more and Harry gets sucked into Tartarus with Hunter.

Galvin understandably bounces soon after.

EP 10 - Keep Calm and Harry On

Sometime after the 25th of December, 2018 (Tuesday onwards)

Daylight, they can't find anything in the texts and Charity doesn't have any information either that can help Harry. They still haven't told her about Galvin witnessing what he did. All the Christmas decorations have been taken down so unless they took them down immediately on Christmas day, I assume they at least left them a few days since I don’t think it was their first priority.

3rd? of January, 2019 (Thursday)

Maggie’s apparently been crying for a week and the holidays seem to be over and people are back to work and study. Poor Harry has gotten royally fucked over. Apparently the USA starts back the year usually around January 3rd or after. I don’t know if University would start near the end of a week or not, so don’t take this as a definite start date.

Maggie does a spell before going to university.

4th of January, 2019 (Friday)

Maggie does the spell once more that morning.

That night Macy pulls a heist with Galvin.

Maggie is later dumped into Tartarus because Charity was duped by Alistair.

Macy and Mel get the harbinger to Dante hours later.

Alistair turns up pissed and Maggie in return gets angry and creates a spell with her sisters. Possibly already past 12 and into the next day by now.

5th of January, 2019 (Saturday)

Charity tells a resting Harry she loves him back at the house and that his son is still alive. Mel is meeting Jada in the meantime at the Haunt, to give her the hellflames and then spends the night/morning with her.

Galvin arrives while its still early morning and gives Macy Julia's research. Maggie and Macy share 52% while Maggie and Mel share 23%.

EP 11 - Witch Perfect

7th of January, 2019 (Monday)

Mel and Maggie are delivering Harry breakfast in the attic. Maggie is planning to audition for the Hilltones. Harry is writing what he remembers and putting the pieces together. Macy breaks the news of their parentage not too long after that. Maggie realises Parker had lied about needing a transfusion from her too because of it.

Macy presents the letters to Maggie before her audition for the Hilltones.

That night Galvin comes over and Macy casts a spell for secrets to be revealed. Macy’s father died in April 2016 and his last letter to their mom was March 25th.

8th of January, 2019 (Tuesday)

Maggie is at practice and when she comes home Macy is waiting for her with the letters she found with Galvin.

Mel goes and sees Jada.

Macy and Galvin later find out via more letters that Maggie was conceived on New Years Eve 2000. This information could now be void as of Season 2 as Maggie is turning 20 despite it still apparently being 2019 unless they meant the affair happened while it was still 1999 and I misunderstood the line...which ofcourse is a possiblilty.

9th? of January, 2019 (Wednesday)

Maggie is at another practice and notices the demonic pitch pipe. Apparently it's the last Hilltownes rehearsal before their showcase later that night. It's strange that they’ve barely had a week of practice but somehow ready for a showcase, but I doubt Macy would sit on those letters for too long...I could always be wrong though.

Mel is with Jada at the Haunt.

The Hilltones' performance is happening soon. Macy, Galvin and Harry do the research for the pipe before Macy and Galvin head to help since Harry is weakened.

Later that night Macy and Maggie bond over letters while Harry talks to Charity in the attic and Mel goes on a walk with Jada. Macy discovers she was brought back from the dead probably around midnight as she goes for a run to clear her head soon after.

EP 12 - You're Dead to Me

10th of January, 2019 (Thursday)

While Macy is known to take baths at 3am she only got back after a long run an hour earlier.

Harry was planning to tell the girls at breakfast about him deciding not to be their whitelighter anymore but Mel and Maggie fill him in on the letters.

Later that day Macy has summoned the necromancer, meanwhile Harry is with Mel since she is the first and only one of the sisters to turn up after getting his texts after seeing Niko. Maggie is at university in the meantime but gets home to see Knansie and Macy before getting attacked by Cyd.

Shit goes down at the house and Harry wonky powers take Mel to England where it's night due to where they’re going being 5~ hours ahead of Hilltown’s time. They get a drink at the pub before wandering all night looking for something to spark Harry’s memories.

The sun’s gone down back in Hilltowne as they're chaining up Cyd. Maggie’s gone to her university party.

It's now morning in England, Harry thinks there is something familiar about the Strathcona Church. They sort through the files, which could’ve taken a few hours but by the time they get home it's still dark in Hilltowne.

11th of January, 2019 (Friday)

Mel and Maggie bring Macy a hot drink and check in on her.

Macy talks to Julia at work. Mel and Harry are looking in on at Niko at the coffee shop, probably before Harry has work and Maggie is at the university already.

EP 13 - Manic Pixie Nightmare

5th of March, 2019 (Tuesday - originally had this occur back as January but it doesn’t make sense later on.)

Parker invites the sisters to his friend Judd’s wake since he suspects something supernatural is happening. Macy is at work in the meantime and Mel is leaving Jada’s after sleeping over.

They attend Judd’s wake, seemingly later that night. Another death happens and they head back to the house to research what could have done it.

6th of March, 2019 (Wednesday)

Next morning Galvin arrives before work and Macy and him go to see Mama Roz.

At lunch Macy tells her sisters and Harry about what happened when she and Galvin saw Mama Roz.

They spend the entire afternoon setting up the pixie trap and it's dark when they finish.

Later that night they head off to save Harry and the pixie. Mel uses the hex that she and Jada used a few weeks ago while Harry is unconscious.

7th of March, 2019 (Thursday)

Mel and Jada are attacked by witch hunters.

Macy and Maggie eat pasta together that night in the kitchen. Macy then loses her virginity to Galvin some time after.

EP 14 - Touched by a Demon

8th of March, 2019 (Friday)

Maggie blows Parker away accidentally prior to planned sex.

That evening Macy is still stress baking.

Harry talks to her in the attic and they both say goodnight. Portal opens and the characters come out.

Maggie is trying to seduce Parker again. Mel is with Jada and Niko, dealing with the witch hunters.

After being saved by Maggie and Mel, Macy spends the rest of the night/early hours of the morning watching Heavens vice with them.

9th of March, 2019 (Saturday)

Mel leaves that morning after Macy makes the decision to call Charity.

Maggie sees Parker and they sleep together for the first time before discovering the vortex viribus

Fiona wakes up as the vortex viribus is activated.

EP 15 - Switches & Stones

9th of March, 2019 (same day as episode prior - Saturday)

Maggie informs Harry and they get Charity and Macy, who were seeing the Elders.

Mel is in the isle of Hy-Breasal Ireland, which is around 5 hours ahead of Hilltowne, with Jada looking for the Sirona stone.

10th of March, 2019 (Sunday)

Next day Maggie is with Parker at college, signing up for spring rush. I have no idea when spring rush is and said sign up. There is so much conflicting information out on the wild, wild web since different universities have different times and don’t all follow the same schedule....

Maggie has Chinese food for dinner. Mel gets back with Jada that night.

11th of March, 2019 (Monday)

Macy goes for a run early that morning after a nightmare.

Mel and Maggie woke up in the other’s body.

Kappa rush brunch.

Maggie (Mel) gets kidnapped for Greek shit that night. Macy is with Charity and Priyanka in the attic. And Mel (Maggie) goes to see Jada instead of covering her shift.

They band together later that night for Medusa.

Macy helps pick out Maggie’s outfit for the next day.

Macy sees Priyanka later that night/early morning hours in the attic. Charity kills her Priyanka.

EP 16 - Memento Mori

12th of March, 2019 (Tuesday)

That morning Macy has no memory of the incident. Charity is there, hovering.

Apparently Macy helped pick out Maggie's outfit the night before but she has no recollection of that either.

Harry says it’s Tuesday.

Maggie's borrowed rose gold earrings from Macy three times.

The sisters have lunch together.

Harry and Charity sleep together. It's also the ten year anniversary of Fiona's supposed death.

13th of March, 2019 (Wednesday)

Next morning Macy stares at her bruises and checks the attic and Charity appears, wipes her memory again

The gang gather around and Charity acts up a storm before dismissing most of them. She plants the seed about Macy going after Priyanka on her own.

Maggie's out for lunch with Parker.

Harry checks Priyanka's apartment. It seems to be night so probably after he goes to work for the day.

That night Macy is tossing and turning, she finds Priyanka stuffed in a chest in the attic.

14th of March, 2019 (Thursday)

That morning Macy talks to her sisters and they go to talk to Julia.

Macy goes to the attic once more and starts working things out.

It's snowing. Charity kidnaps Macy.

Its getting dark out and Mel and Maggie get home. With Harry they go to the vortex and deal with Charity.

The sisters relive their mother's death while Harry watches the prisoner and Fiona arrives to talk to Charity before she is taken away by the guards.

15th of March, 2019 (Friday)

Charity is saved by Alistair.

Maggie is with Parker that morning after hearing about his fall.

EP 17 - Surrender

15th of March, 2019 (same day as the episode prior - Friday)

Only twelve elders remain.

Harry is stripped of his powers.

20th of March, 2019 (Wednesday)

Harry has been missing for a few days. Macy makes breakfast for the sisters. Macy’s phone says 10:06am.

Maggie is seeing Julia during the morning while Mel is with Niko.

Macy texts them both to get home asap. It’s probably around lunchtime or just after. Harry's back and old, he's allowed to stay to give advice until a new Whitelighter is found. Harry is wearing his lapel pin, something he apparently once told Maggie he wanted to be buried with.

That evening Mel goes to see Jada for help. She refuses, the Sarcana are preparing the keeper to take on her new powers as they don't want the elders controlling magic anymore. Fiona agrees that Jada was right to refuse Mel in helping Harry as anyone whose cozy with her sister isn't worth saving. Mel and her sisters force the elders' hands not soon after but are seemingly ignored when it comes to Harry’s reinstatement as their whitelighter.

21st of March, 2019 (Thursday)

It seems to be early morning when they're sent back. Mel has only been in the Sarcana for a few months.

Once Mel gets back from Niko’s, the sisters do research. It's March, and is spring according to Mel. The Vernal equinox is that day which according to google said event seems to last from the 19th to the 21st usually.

Harry kept the surveillance compass and its receiver ring from Charity.

Maggie meets Viralis and her greatest desire is a love that never leaves. Harry apparently was stalking them. He gives them a simple repair spell. Fiona is stalking him.

They arrive at the barn place and Niko greets them before shit goes down. Fiona fails to get the map from Harry.

Maggie delivers the demon blood Macy collected from Viralis to Julia that afternoon.

22nd of March, 2019 (Friday)

Maggie checks with Julia on how Parker is going that morning, Julia plans on giving another dose tonight.

They're having tea with an even older Harry, potentially morning tea. Fiona arrives, then Jada, who is told about the two Sarcana under Fiona's bed. Fiona takes Harry.

EP 18 - The Replacement

22nd of March, 2019 (same day as episode prior - Friday)

That night they meet Tessa. Harry is believed to have died.

23rd of March, 2019 (Saturday)

The girls sleep in that morning. A bursar contacts Maggie and wants $30,000 for tuition.

Galvin is supposed to land back at 8pm that night.

Mel is at work. Her Sarcana tattoo has disappeared.

Galvin arrived on time, his flight was 7 hours in coach.

24th of March, 2019 (Sunday)

Next morning two of the sisters take the Yoruba artifacts to Mama Roz while Maggie babysits the body.

Macy is going for a walk with Galvin and the sun seems to be setting. For the demon curing it has the be the next night as it's a full moon. That night they’re having a slumber party with the dead guy and discussing Galvin etc.

Mama Roz is killed.

25th of March, 2019 (Monday)

Maggie is at the black student union meeting.

Mel is working Niko and Greta's bachelorette party that night but leaves with Maggie to Mama Roz’s

Macy is with Galvin, who is possessed. Spring has finally sprung and the Abiku wants Macy because she was a stillborn.

Macy uses her dark side to stop Galvin’s heart and then restart it.

Later Galvin and Macy break up. For some reason Tessa didn’t heal Galvin’s finger wounds, then again she’s probably just being petty since she didn’t get to wipe his memories and all that.

26th of March, 2019 (Tuesday)

Macy didn't really sleep at all and is still wide awake that morning. Niko calls Mel, the tattoo parlor has been ransacked and the Sarcana massacred. Mel also revealed she’s a witch to Niko.

Mel tells her sisters the news.

EP 19 - Source Material

26th of March, 2019 (same day as episode prior - Tuesday)

That night Macy uses her sight via Harry’s lapel pin, to watch the Sarcana massacre with Mel and Maggie. They then summon Tessa, tell her about Harry being alive and put a tracker on her before she leaves.

The massacre could have happened any of the days but probably on the Friday as Mel only noticed her tattoo gone on the Saturday and the Sarcana weren’t prepared for Fiona’s return.

Alistair used Charity to break Hunter out of Tartarus during one of the days prior to Tuesday as well.

27th of March, 2019 (Wednesday)

Galvin is ignoring Macy at work.

Maggie is trying to fuck Parker as its been weeks since they've been together but he qants to wait until the final dose which is the next night

28th of March, 2019 (Thursday)

Mel takes the first shift of tracking Tessa while Macy goes to work.

Apparently the elders magically cleaned up the bodies of the Sarcana.

Parker is getting his final dose that night and thinks he kills Julia, his mother was he does.

29th of March, 2019 (Friday)

Macy comes into work early and later finds Julia’s body with Galvin. Probably had to pretend everything was good at work the whole day despite their boss not showing up.

Later that day Mel has her shift at the haunt. Maggie is strutting her way to get laid but can’t find Parker. Maggie and Macy swap stories. Meanwhile Mel is tagging along with Tessa via a spell, leaving behind Niko and finding Fiona and a tired Harry.

Macy is using the needle to see Julia's death. Hunter pretends to be Maggie to drive away Parker.

The girls join together at the mausoleum. Charity watches it all via scrying.

They head back home after scaring off Fiona and say a few words for Tessa.

Harry handles Julia's body that night while the girls sleep.

30th of March, 2019 (Saturday)

Next morning Harry makes breakfast. Macy then heads to work.

Mel’s at the Haunt with Niko. Parker turns up to see his dad.

That evening Maggie gets a letter from Parker who is getting the origin dagger thrust into him.

EP 20 - Ambush

31st of March, 2019 (Sunday)

Elder Silver turns up since more elders are dying. Apparently Alistair is the immortal protector of the Source, just like Fiona is the keeper of the Flame.

5th of May, 2019 (Sunday - originally had it as the 1st of April)

Macy goes dark at breakfast. Lucy arrives wanting Maggie’s margarita recipe for her Cinco de Mayo party that night. Which should mean it's actually May 5th and not the 1st of April that I originally had it written as. Since I’m going to use May as being the canon month, perhaps Fiona has simply been hunting the Elders all month?

Macy is with Harry in his office before they head back home with Galvin’s artifacts. Meanwhile Mel and Maggie look for Lucy whose being doing Alistair’s dirty work unknowingly.

Macy becomes the voodoo doll. Alistair and Fiona join forces. Mel and Maggie get back just after Harry puts Macy in bed, which she reluctantly went. Niko arrives just after and once she leaves Elder Silver arrives and they lay the trap with elders, who subsequently get murdered by Hunter.

They are warding the house to protect Elder Silver until it starts getting dark. Macy hurts Mel and they find the secret room after Macy breaks Elder Bari’s needle. The secret room is axed for Season 2 onwards, as are the items in said room. Hunter gives them 20 minutes to get to the Haunt with the last elder.

After defeating Hunter they go back to the house for drinks. A drink Harry picked up in San Miguel De Allende back in 2003.

Fiona meets with Charity to kill her but Charity gets away.

6th of May, 2019 (Monday)

Niko arrives with stuff for tracking Parker and Mel tells her about erasing her memories a few months ago. It seems to be starting to get light outside and the party at the haunt has long since stopped and is in the process of being cleaned up as well.

EP 21 - Red Rain

6th of May, 2019 (same day as episode prior - Monday)

They've changed clothes, probably got some sleep too. Maggie hears Parker and informs the others.

Kappas and Phi Deltas are all at the hospital. Macy runs off to the lab to test the blood, Galvin arrives there to help.

Mel, Harry and Maggie go to the place Niko helped them find.

After getting her findings Macy meets the gang back at the attic and Galvin goes back to the hospital before texting her updates.

Macy and Mel go to the hospital while Maggie and Harry try to reach Parker. Mel sees Niko is infected due to Greta taking off the ring.

Mel, Macy and Galvin see the dark storm clouds rolling in, signifying they're running out of time. Galvin and Macy head to the roof while Mel gets back to the house to get the Book of Shadows.

Maggie and Harry find Charity in the gardens of Latebra, bringing Mel and unluckily leading Parker right to Charity. Fiona listens to Parker's fight. Mel and Maggie somehow get back home. Harry probably orbed them home after dumping Fiona in the Vortex Viribus and then getting back to her.

Meanwhile Macy and Galvin set up the ritual and Fiona finds and kills her Charity. Harry goes and tells Mel and Maggie, probably took Charity’s body somewhere. Then again maybe he just left her dead ass back in that place.

Maggie is taken by Alistair and Galvin is finishing the sacrifice, Harry arriving there. He takes a grieving Macy back to the house where Mel has just finished calling the hospital. It's raining blood and they head to the eye of the storm.

Fiona ignites the flame with her death and Parker arrives. Macy takes the dagger and puts it in her before stepping into the flames.

Source Macy brings them home after killing Alistair and goes to resurrect Galvin.

EP 22 - The Source Awakens

7th of May, 2019 (Tuesday)

Galvin wakes up in Macy’s room, said owner having not slept at all.

Macy listens in on her family’s morning conversation. Said family avoids her. Mel claims to have work but is really going to catch up with Galvin before he starts work. Maggie says she has pilates but is really going to see Parker.

Harry visits Macy in her room and she reads his thoughts. He’s texted by the sisters to meet at his office.

It seems to be getting dark outside when Macy arrives to thwart them.

ALTERNATIVE HISTORY ETC

On Macy’s first attempt at rewriting history, she goes to introduce herself to Marisol at the house, forgetting about the curse. Marisol dies and her sisters, not knowing who she is, attacks her. Macy then goes to see Knansie at the Handy Dandy Snacks and Harry seems to recognise her.

Macy rewrites everything again, this time Mel is the sacrifice. Mel is a driver for the Hitch Hail app and is taking Harry to a women's studies conference in Seattle despite him still being Maggie and Macy’s whitelighter. They later get Maggie and then the prism but Macy turns up and Marisol still dies despite everything.

Macy rewrites history again. It's May 19th. Macy doesn't exist in this world. They go back in time and to the original timeline. I’m not sure if all this means Macy becomes the Source on the 19th too, instead of the 6th? Or if in that timeline they were just days ahead.

6th of May, 2019 (the day of Macy becoming the Source - Monday)

Macy relocates them in New York but Harry brings them back and they convince her to do the spell to remove the Source. Pieces of her necklace are in three separate corners of the world, so nobody, not even them, can find them as Harry wipes their memories. I’m hoping he wiped his own too, or else that’s gonna be a problem in the future.

7th? of May, 2019 (Tuesday)

They visit Marisol's grave.

Afterwards Mel goes and sees Niko. Maggie says goodbye to Parker.

8th? of May, 2019 (Wednesday)

They’ve been to Galvin’s funeral and then once they get back to the house a welcoming party is there to greet them.

I'm from Australia so trying to track American stuff can be confusing for me sometimes since the whole different hemisphere thing is a factor. 😜 Not to mention I've never been to university myself so I'm not in the loop there either.

Also, I’m super sorry for any mix-ups with present and past tense. I was working on this at different times and didn't really think too much about which one I was using each time I outlined an episode.

I’m rewatching Season 2. A part of me feels I should wait until they finish filming and then releasing the remaining episodes of that season...so after next January I’ll be able to review. Feel free to send me a message if you believe certain dates would be better changed etc.

The Prince family are very much like the Gaunts in once being wealthy pure bloods but are now reduced to a shadow of once they were.

They weren’t as poor as the Gaunts but we’re nothing like the Malfoys or Blacks in terms of wealth.

They clung to pure blood ideals however and can also tie their lineage to Cadmus Peverell.

Before his sons were born, Halwyn was the youngest and last male Prince.

He had two older sisters and Eileen his only first cousin.

He was disowned when he married Odella Gale, since she’s half siren.

He was placed in Slytherin just like all the Prince’s and proud of it.

He had a talent for potions, herbology, and DADA.

He was a very stoic and reserved man who could pick people apart psychologically if he was feeling malicious. He was soft with his family however.

She ended up as both Prefect and Head Girl of Slytherin.

She was deeply in love with Halwyn and his sudden death hit her hard.

Jacob’s fall from grace and sudden disappearance right only a few months after Halwyn’s death pushed her more into grief.

At first she was paranoid of Melody running away (hence not letting her have a broom) but then swung the opposite, hardly ever home and throwing herself into work.

Melody looking for the vaults angered her further and their relationship hasn’t recovered.

Eldest Brother - William Halwyn Prince

Melody’s eldest brother who is 11 years older than her.

He can give Snape a run for his money as a cranky, sarcastic, jerk.

He is a loner who on the whole doesn’t like people.

Thanks to being part siren he’s ridiculously attractive and draws people to him despite his prickly personality.

He does have a soft spot for his family and would protect them, even he is mean about it.

The only person he actively likes is his best friend/boyfriend, Faran, a Ravenclaw werewolf.

He has a talent for DADA and potions and makes his boyfriend’s wolfsbane potion.

He becomes a curse breaker for Gringotts along with his boyfriend.

Second Brother - Jacob Corentin Prince

He’s 6 years older than Melody and 5 younger than William.

He’s more hotheaded than William and Melody but he’s good at hiding it.

Only originally looked for the vaults for fun but then got sucked into the more serious side once R got involved.

Once Duncan dies he becomes obsessed with breaking the curse to give meaning to what they did.

Once his dad was murdered he felt it was his fault and left to protect his family and get revenge.

He and William fought a lot growing up but he’s protective of Melody.

Has the attitude that only he’s allowed to tease her.

He didn’t get along with Snape because he reminded him too much of his brother William.

His best subjects were flying, DADA, and transfiguration.

Grandfather - Corentin Cian Gale

Odella’s father and his home is where the family lives.

He’s one of the top experts in Merfolk studies and a renowned magizoologist.

He helped Newt Scamander’s section on water based magical creatures and is longtime friends with him.

He’s also good friends with Professor Kettleburn.

He was sorted into Ravenclaw in his youth.

He’s a very patient and caring man.

Due to his work he has to be away from home a lot but makes an effort to come home to Melody during summer when he can.

He writes to her often when she’s at Hogwarts, trying to compensate for Melody’s sense of abandonment.

His best subjects were CoMC, herbology, and charms.

Grandmother - Kairi

She’s a cold water siren whose colony lives between Iceland and the Faroe Islands.

She could only spend 7 years on land with Corentin before having to return to the sea.

The last 3 she was able to spend with Odella.

She’s much older than even Corentin since sirens age slowly and has children from previous matings.

So Odella has a few full siren half siblings.

Kairi visits her grandchildren during the summer sometimes and taught all of them how to hunt underwater.

She still very much loves Corentin even if she can’t be with him anymore.

Second Cousin - Severus Tobias Snape

Melody and Snape are aware of their relation to each other.

He’s technically welcome to their family but obviously he keeps his distance.

Because of this Melody and her brothers knew not to reveal their blood ties since Snape clearly doesn’t want it to be known.

Because of some of the similarities Snape holds with her father who had just died, she subconsciously latched on to him when they first met.

Snape is aware of this but is mercifully against mocking her for it.

He does get frustrated that none of his prickly barbs bother her.

Most of his animosity comes from not liking Jacob but some of it is from the fact that their backgrounds are similar (disowned parents) but her family clearly loves her, even with its problems.

Despite his acidic nature to her at times, he doesn’t actually want anything bad to happen to her.

Plus she does make the Slytherin house look really good and is the reason they win the House Cup every year.

Her home is on the coast of Ireland and the area is a water creature reserve to protect wounded, sick, or endangered creatures.

There’s a female sea serpent that lives on it that she and her grandfather takes care of.

They also have 6 murtlaps and Melody is so used to taking care of them at a young age, that at Hogwarts she dives for the food for the ones under Kettleburn’s care.

Professor Kettleburn has known her since she was born thanks to his friendship with her grandfather.

Due to her siren heritage, she and her brothers and mother don’t use flirting or seduction if they actually are infatuated and instead will just come out and say it and are very blunt.

They only use seduction if they want something (like food).

Melody feels cold to the touch but her inner temperature is higher than a human’s, allowing her to remain in cold or freezing waters.

Melody, her brothers, and her mother are all exceptionally beautiful but don’t draw people in like part Veelas do, however once they’re in water they become almost supernaturally alluring and their voices become naturally seductive.

They can choose to hypnotize people with their song if they wish but it’s basically a death sentence for the affected person since they’ll become so obsessed they either drown themselves or try and kill the one who sang to them.

There is technically a cure and a way to become immune to siren songs but only the sirens know it.

Love potions don’t affect her and her brothers and mother the same way it does full humans. It basically makes them really drunk and frisky.

She witnessed her father die in front of her since he was poisoned so she can see thestrals.

She’s a Pisces, Jacob is a Cancer, and William is a Scorpio.

She really hates Rita Skeeter and Emily Tyler.

She has a huge crush on Talbott.

She was a hatstall between Slytherin and Ravenclaw but now if she wore the hat again, it would say Slytherin without a doubt.

IS A MONSTER CREATED OR BORN / THE CHILDHOOD.

The diggles on the whole, are a slightly out there family that never really made any sense.

the kind of pure blood family that people looked at, and wholly wondered whether those blood lines were … really okay. smiley, happy, carefree, but maybe a few gobstones short.

Dedalus Diggle, his son Dion Diggle, daughter -in -law, Cybil Diggle, all held such similar personalities to them. It didn’t mean that they were anything less than incredible wizards, but their personalities often overshadowed any individual merit they held.

They worked just outside of London in Oxford, but travelled to Wizarding London on most days for their day jobs, all three of whom worked in a selection of odd jobs from the doing something or other at the ministry, to being a wizard tailor. but all three ( mostly just following dedalus ) were heavily involved in the Order at some point.

Another thing everyone in the family shared was the eccentric names, so it was no surprise when Cybil and Dion christened their first and only born, Ariadne Persis Diggle.

unforutanetly, their naming habits wasn’t the limit of their eccentric behaviour.

To Ariadne’s parents it was so easy to misplace time, like the mad hatter, plans were lost or all together forgotten, they never got to anywhere punctually — - cybil would even go on record stating that Dion was late for their wedding ; their child birth. meme for reference

not that they would ever forget their daughter ; but they did. they left her places all the time; dragon alley, the super market, the forest. she got used to spending time by herself, ariadne learning to look after herself from a young age because she simply just couldn’t trust her parents to look after her. a

terrifying concept that a child would have to fend for themselves, cook for themselves; not because their parents didn’t love them, but that they just forget to show it.

part of this was because they were all truly different. ariadne wasn’t scatterbrained, she wasn’t forgetful, or flippant. she was dedicated & serious & incredibly intelligent. what other child by age 4 could cook for themselves? dress themselves? take themselves to school?

ariadne was a child genius ; a fact that their pre-school had to tell Dion & Cybil several times before they finally got the message; Ariadne desperately needed a tutor.

In fact, it wasn’t even the seventeen messages, letters home, meetings with the head ( all of which went dutifully ignored ) it was the fact that at the age of 5 — one powerful sneeze almost completely blew up one wing of the small school. and it wasn’t a request, it was a, “politely let go & no longer wanted at their ‘fine’ institution. “

it was at this point, dion and cybil began to see their own flesh & blood as being a bit of a pain / annoyed with how much upkeep it required to take care of someone so inquisitive. they tried not to convey this to ariadne. but ariadne was smart, and gifted

ventually, ariadne grew very against her family and what they stood for, but as such a young child at the age of 7, she had no idea how to express this burning inside her heart, so she hid her aggression behind a loving smile, and took out pent up aggression on bugs she found in the garden. tearing them apart, and looking up what she saw in her families dusty, never used library.

eventually, the diggle’s gave out and hired a tutor, and hired the first person they could find with little regard for screening the applicants to find the best fit. and so, they let a death eater and all the ideologies they carry with them into the diggle household. see,

after the whole kindergarten incident, word of the young diggle girl had spread through newspapers, and the inside talk of the other pureblood families, it had been noted with interest, so when the job opportunity opened up XYZ I GUESS THIS MIGHT BE A WC were more than happy to step in to act as the guiding compass in young ariadne’s life.

for the concept of a child genius, a young witch showing very strong potential in a wide array of magicks, was an interesting concept – and with such a gullible, malleable, manipulatable family? well, [ it’s free real estate meme !]

from the ages of 5-11, ariadne was tutored & trained in a wide variety of disciplinaries. along with this, a distinct hatred of muggles, a disbelief in absolutely everything her parents stood for, how her parents ignorance for her was how all order aligned people were. that they were ineffective; and useless, and whilst not necessarily the scum of the earth ( that was just mud bloods ) they had little to no use. but whilst they didn’t offer much, they were easy tools to be used.

she had tutoring to what was already 5th year material before she even started her 1st year, plus rudimentary training in extremely difficult types of magic such as apparition and legilimency.

it wasn’t tutoring; it was indoctrination, pure and simple. but they were kind, they were nice, they indulged Ariadne’s interest in learning and inquisitive mind, all the whilst feeding it the less than wholesome ideals that the death eaters had founded themselves on.

They also mentioned the fact that some people she would meet in life, those horrible, horrible people, were awfully bigoted against these blood purity ideas - the superior ideas - that they held.

They told her, when dealing with these “acceptance for all / muggle lovers” people, to keep quiet, keep what was said in lessons between the two of them, because in their words “ there’s no reason for you to go through the trauma we had.” but that wasn’t their reason, no, that was never their reason. They knew full well to get such a death eater loyalist inside the “other sides” ranks would be a feet that required years of predisposition and nudging into a perfect personality.

Even after Ariadne turned 11 and no longer needed to be homeschooled, she continued the lessons throughout her holidays, constantly having them topped up with the most recent ideology, constantly nudged like a pawn on a chess board into the perfect position.

And for all Ariadne’s brains, she was trusting, and easily controlled, for she was near-sighted and once her trust was earned, it was almost impossible for it to be destroyed.

She was sorted into Ravenclaw, inspired by her desire for knowledge, her inquisitive mind that seemed far larger than the rest of her tiny frame ( standing at a whole, 4’9).

But she was never really the best student, because she already could do everything that was taught, she lacked the challenge she was so desperately searching for.

But she couldn’t really find it ever at hogwarts, so she just often choose to not go to class in favour of going to the library to learn things she didn’t know. And whilst she did often do well on exams, the teachers would always end up docking her for her … less than sportsmanlike behaviour throughout the year. A plague to anyone who ever vaguely cared about house points.

But other than annoying other teachers, she wholly seemed to be a popular girl. She could never be found without her trademark smile, lopsided grin, infectious giggles.

She had such a sunny demeanour that contrasted so greatly with her rotten insides. She was friendly to everyone, somehow, only interacting with the muggle borns through an unseen gritted teeth, and glares every time no one was looking.

It also made Ariadne an obvious choice to join the M.A, said everyone with a resounding cheer. It made perfect sense!

She was from a family that had long been associated with the Order of the Phoenix, she was incredibly smart and great in a duel, and seemed to get along with everyone !

Ariadne didn’t know what to say, but agree to sign up, secretly writing an owl to her tutor under the cover of dark. They got her in touch with the heads of the D.E’s at Hogwarts and they came to an agreement, an arrangement. With her tutor to vouch for her loyalty, Adriane signed up for the Death eaters, a heavily guarded secret known by only a select few.

Ariadne personally loved the freedom that the flip-flop nature of her identity, the secrecy, the manipulation.

All in all, the war feels something of a game to her.

Much like how she is a pawn in somebody else's game, she feels a certain sense of control from being vested in both sides, that she has some sort of ability to manipulate everything as she sees fit, that perhaps she is playing the protagonist like in one of the stories she read growing up.

But in reality, she is still just someone else’s pawn, who will end up branded as a traitor, a wolf in sheep's clothing, no matter who ends up becoming victorious.

to people in the MA, ariadne is a very well respected, dedicated (and unfortunately trusted) members. to the DE she is ALSO just a member of the MA unless they’re in the higher leadership !

- she can have so many friends ! just so many friends ! give her friends you cowards! - i feel like she’s been in a few relationships / all were quite innocent and ended on seemingly okay terms but maybe there’s an unspoken bad blood ! she’s cute and a pureblood, great for everybody ! - people who lowkey don’t like her or find her annoying / not that they doubt her alliance, but maybe some (lower rank) DE who think she’s a blood traitor or overly nice? or just anyone who thinks her smiliness is annoying. - .... . prankster partner ...... lowkey demon thinks it’s one of the easiest way to take her aggression out on people she doesn’t like .. .. - the ONE person who once really saw ariadne snap for whatever reason / very fun plotting possibilities !!!
