Honey Spell Jar

Sweeten your life with this hoodoo practice of making a spell jar. Jar work can be used to bring good to your own life and trouble to others. There are three main jar works; honey jar, sour jar, and freezer work. Today we are focusing on bringing good our lives with a honey jar.

Hoodoo is a form of African American magic, also known as conjure.  Hoodoo blends a combination of traditions that include African and Native American practices as well as Christianity and European folk magic.

Remember in hoodoo there is no threefold law or any idea of karma.

This is one of my favorite spells to do because it involves a few of my favorite things 💜jars and 💜honey

First take some time and think of some areas of your life that needs sweetening. Love, money, healing etc. Gather your items needed to do your work. You'll need a jar or container, desired ingredients for desired outcome. Petition paper with name if intended a photo will also work. Add trinkets and sweetener. Seal your jar with wax. When ever you need a little sweetness in your life burn a candle on top of your jar.

Honey- to sweeten situations or to sweeten others. Persuade others your way

Oils- essential oils are great to set intentions

Heart shaped... - draw love

Money- to raise financial status

Herbs and crystals- choose herbs and crystals that correspond with your intention

For context, I’m playing a beekeeper d&d character who also makes her own honey jars/pots (your preference on what it’s called.

So I tried to research the benefits of each material used to store honey and only found one link that sort of touched on what I was looking for and limited information

Anyway, I figured I would turn to my fav community of artsy, sciencey, hyperfocusing pals to see if you knew anything more😁

Real Honey Jars/ + Jar Spell.

(Hoodoo Lesson)

These jars has been around for a while The Honey Jar is newer, something that's been constricted in the last 10 yrs or so give or take. What gets me and some and others is that it's been presented as traditional old fashioned hoodoo. It is not. Now the sweeten jar is.

I want you to think about is this, your black ansestors did not have access to Honey like that. Then some people say that they went and collected honey and brought it home. NO. Honey wasn't easly accessable to your ansestors back then so they wouldn't have use it.

Wrong Way To Make A Jar.

☝️Now you see this big jars fill with all kind of stuff and the candles on top and wax dripping everywhere and when a person look at these jars they look cool and pretty and magical. Not real. Real jars aren't made to be pretty.

Honey Jar workings are known for taking a slow but steady approach to a problem. They help sweeten any one in your favor or gently break down their defenses etc. But in general, they aren't a very "quick" type of working.

The only thing Honey Jars are good for is maintaining a spell for long term like a relationship, a job. Etc. But not if your in a hurry like Court. 😁

Honey it pours slowly, it moves slowly. It reacts slowly. So when you buy these honey jar spells or you make one on your own and It's not working at the speed that you need Doesn't mean it's not affective it's just moves slow.

Jars needs to be in a constant state of motion because the universe is in a state of motion. So when you build a honey jar and you get no results it's because it's slow it's sits on your altar which keeps the energy from flowing. So now you just have a cute jar on your altar.

Now the sweeten jars do work fast because they have more flow more energy behind it.

Another thing these court case honey jars or not a good idea because of the flow and how slow it is so by the time it takes affect and start working that person will be in jail already.

Right Way To Make A Jar

When you construct a honey jar or sweeting jar and you keep it on your working altar you can use a large jar. Small jars are great to carry with you.

Why sweeting? Well in the southern culture when a girl or guy likes you they would say she's sweet on you right. Same principle.

Sweeten Jar Spell: Sweeteners are used to help "sweeten" someone's disposition to you, make you appear favorable in their eyes and make you attractive to them.

To Sweeten someones Heart: Take a small jar write that person's name the 3 times on brown petition paper in-between the names write; think about me. Like me etc.

Next sugar. (sugar water flows quicker if it moves quicker physically it will move quicker spiritually )

Pour a few 5 teaspoons of sugar. Add a cinnamon stick or a 3 teaspoons of cinnamon. (not to much it's a spice)

A piece of damiana root (damiana is a horney root use to heat the privates)

Pinch of licorice root (licorice is sweet and compelling)

Fill with water.

Light a Pink candle or White next to the jar. Put your petition paper underneath.

Say a prayer to activate it.

Shake your jar to keep it going.

Does anyone know what constitutes a honey jar? Is it just any love jar that has honey in it? Are there specific ingredients?

I cant find much online and I dont wanna overstep into another culture

Today I'm posting this mug made four years ago. It's been in storage for a very long time but I was able to use it for my tea yesterday. It was thrown on a kick wheel and the handle was hand built. The bee on top of the handle and the one inside the mug were also hand built. I have lost track of the list of glazes I used in high school so I'm afraid this is a mystery for now. Except for the honey drips which were hand painted on with yellow underglaze. Also the bee on the handle was hand painted with underglaze before being dunked in clear glaze. Last picture is from yesterday morning where I drank my new peach tea out of it.
