Bucky gave a soft moan when Brock's voice reached his ear. Not the first time he'd heard them, but never like this. Never so close to his ear, never with his breath so hot on his skin that it was nearly driving him insane. He'd tried to deny it for too long already and only now did he slowly realized that he wanted this to go further, that he needed Brock to continue what he was doing, that he had perhaps longed for a chance to lose control all along. Anything really to make those dreadful thoughts disappear, if just for the time being.

Realistically Benjamin did not have to run his own errands. He had plenty of people who would do these things for him if he simply asked, but he enjoyed the act of leaving the house for a few hours to take care of business while also getting to observe strangers on the way.

He did not watch people like most others might. There was no innocent interest in the lives of others, only a keen eye trained to spot weaknesses that he could exploit. His last plaything had sadly passed away after their latest argument, a shame, really, he'd served his purpose well... And while Benjamin was never actively looking for a new person to trap in his web, his attention was still caught by a passerby.

The man was clearly not having a good time. He looked like he wanted to disappear, his anxiety practically palpable in the air around him. It drew Benjamin to him, like a moth to a flame, or perhaps more accurately; like a shark to bloody waters.

"I am going to need you to bump into him. Be gentle but do try to knock him over. Act like it's accidental."

Hushed orders that made his bodyguard spring into action. As the bodyguard's shoulder connected with the shoulder of the other man, forceful but still clumsy enough to make it seem like it had been an accident, Benjamin stepped forward. His body language remaining calm as his eyebrows furrowed.

"Oh dear, I am so sorry. Are you alright?"

Hunter and Gus beg Luz to take them to a planetarium (if that's what the places where they give you little lessons and let you look at stars or put a projection are called) and, after a mild disappointment that the planets aren't exactly from Cosmic Frontier, they end up loving it and coming back a few times, maybe it ends up being a yearly tradition for everyone to go

There would be a gentle rapping on the exterior of the pod and a clearly female voice clearly being heard as she would make her entrance.

At first glance, the unexpected visitor might appear to be an oddly tall worker drone wearing a nicely cleaned uniform, but the additional appendage, a long-tapered tail with a claw-like gripper that she used to hold herself steady as she brought her heavy cargo inside clearly indicated otherwise. Of course, there was also wings, but those were retracted at this point so she could fit through the door.

"Um... Would you like a nice thermos of oil in these trying times?" Admittedly, the brunette was trying to be lighthearted about bringing over what amounted to two gym bags full of thermoses that were full of cold filtered oil, her yellow eyes darting about as she examined the inside of the pod.

Asgard was half in dishevel.. and Odin blamed Loki for it. If he had not gone to Midgard and tried to rule it things would’ve been fine. Their enemies would still be unsure if their power. The king had wanted to do away with the trickster god.. but his wife had stayed his hand.

Thor had also realized something was wrong with Loki and fought for his brother’s right not to be executed. Between both his son and his queen.. the King was in a rock and a hard place. He granted Loki a prison cell instead and Frigga a boon that he’d have therapy..

Which was how the god found himself staring down the mortal, who’s other side had smashed him into the ground and broke the Titan’s control. @bxnnxrxd

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

Bucky knew he should have protested and he had tried to, he really had, but his own body had betrayed him. Reacting to Stark's touches and praises in the most obvious way and there he was now, melting into the other man's hands on his body so easily. Partly because he couldn't help himself, but also because he wanted Howard to continue what he had started. Hell, he simply needed him to touch him further, needed him to push him closer to the edge until he'd lose himself in that incredible, overwhelming feeling of pleasure entirely.

Closing his eyes and allowing a soft moan to erupt from his chest, he felt a breathless smile tugging at his lips which he hoped would encourage Howard to keep going.

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes

Rowling isn't denying holocaust. She just pointed out that burning of transgender health books is a lie as that form of cosmetic surgery didn't exist. But of course you knew that already, didn't you?

I was thinking I'd probably see one of you! You're wrong :) Let's review the history a bit, shall we?

In this case, what we're talking about is the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, or in English, The Institute of Sexology. This Institute was founded and headed by a gay Jewish sexologist named Magnus Hirschfeld. It was founded in July of 1919 as the first sexology research clinic in the world, and was run as a private, non-profit clinic. Hirschfeld and the researchers who worked there would give out consultations, medical advice, and even treatments for free to their poorer clientele, as well as give thousands of lectures and build a unique library full of books on gender, sexuality, and eroticism. Of course, being a gay man, Hirschfeld focused a lot on the gay community and proving that homosexuality was natural and could not be "cured".

Hirschfeld was unique in his time because he believed that nobody's gender was either one or the other. Rather, he contended that everyone is a mixture of both male and female, with every individual having their own unique mix of traits.

This leads into the Institute's work with transgender patients. Hirschfeld was actually the one to coin the term "transsexual" in 1923, though this word didn't become popular phrasing until 30 years later when Harry Benjamin began expanding his research (I'll just be shortening it to trans for this brief overview.) For the Institute, their revolutionary work with gay men eventually began to attract other members of the LGBTA+, including of course trans people.

Contrary to what Anon says, sex reassignment surgery was first tested in 1912. It'd already being used on humans throughout Europe during the 1920's by the time a doctor at the Institute named Ludwig Levy-Lenz began performing it on patients in 1931. Hirschfeld was at first opposed, but he came around quickly because it lowered the rate of suicide among their trans patients. Not only was reassignment performed at the Institute, but both facial feminization and facial masculization surgery were also done.

The Institute employed some of these patients, gave them therapy to help with other issues, even gave some of the mentioned surgeries for free to this who could not afford it! They spoke out on their behalf to the public, even getting Berlin police to help them create "transvestite passes" to allow people to dress however they wanted without the threat of being arrested. They worked together to fight the law, including trying to strike down Paragraph 175, which made it illegal to be homosexual. The picture below is from their holiday party, Magnus Hirschfeld being the gentleman on the right with the fabulous mustache. Many of the other people in this photo are transgender.

There was always push back against the Institute, especially from conservatives who saw all of this as a bad thing. But conservatism can't stop progress without destroying it. They weren't willing to go that far for a good while. It all ended in March of 1933, when a new Chancellor was elected. The Nazis did not like homosexuals for several reasons. Chief among them, we break the boundaries of "normal" society. Shortly after the election, on May 6th, the book burnings began. The Jewish, gay, and obviously liberal Magnus Hirschfeld and his library of boundary-breaking literature was one of the very first targets. Thankfully, Hirschfeld was spared by virtue of being in Paris at the time (he would die in 1935, before the Nazis were able to invade France). His library wasn't so lucky.

This famous picture of the book burnings was taken after the Institute of Sexology had been raided. That's their books. Literature on so much about sexuality, eroticism, and gender, yes including their new work on trans people. This is the trans community's Alexandria. We're incredibly lucky that enough of it survived for Harry Benjamin and everyone who came after him was able to build on the Institute's work.

As the Holocaust went on, the homosexuals of Germany became a targeted group. This did include transgender people, no matter what you say. To deny this reality is Holocaust denial. JK Rowling and everyone else who tries to pretend like this isn't reality is participating in that evil. You're agreeing with the Nazis.
