Hi do you like images. I love images. Heres a little over 100 guilty gear trading cards from the early 2000s. Every character up to xx is accounted for… some more than others. For now. But the average is probably 4 or 5 cards per character. Nearly all of the art is original. Okay have fun :)

I think season 3 of XO, kitty will be the pinning season, like, they are already in love with each other, but there's been so much this last season that they will need to heal during the summer. But now, they don't know how the other feels currently and so, they just start pinning for each other (extra points if they are blocked everytime they think is the "right time")

Character Notes

Karl:

Playful, rebellious, and quick to tease.

He enjoys pushing people's buttons to see what makes them tick. In the past, it's mostly in light fun. In the present, it's mostly out of malice or to deflect.

Held a mixture of bitterness, sadness, and fondness towards humans due to feelings of abandonment when the park closed. This gets twisted into a deep hatred after the events with Rachel.

He's typically careful and calculated, but when successfully provoked, all plans get thrown out the window.

Though still guarded and masks his emotions with a smile, past Karl is more trusting and emotive than his current state. Because of this, I'm allowed to draw Karl with a wider range of expressions.

Presently, Karl is now shown almost exclusively smiling. He specifically makes it a point to never show when he's bothered by something (though this is often betrayed by his eye-twitch).

"Deary me" is generally used in a mocking, faux surprise/concern. It's a phrase he coined in the past to mock Rachel's speech patterns.

** The important thing to note about Karl is that he was a casualty in the incident with Rachel. None of what happened that night was planned. **

The last thing he says by the end of the story is "I hate you." This is also his final lie.

Rachel:

Catholic; Half Irish, half Jewish.

She comes from a middle-class family and is relatively well-off.

Her and her family were close friends with the owner of a shop that specialized in violins.

As a child prodigy, she suffered heavily from gifted child syndrome, both in childhood and in adulthood.

She used to be more rebellious and mischievous in the past, but became notably more placid and subdued after the incident with Karl.

She leaned strongly into religion after the incident with Karl due to heavy, unresolved guilt. However, she was never a devout believer and wanted very little to do with it in the past.

She's often seen smiling and content in front of others, but more often than not, it's not entirely genuine; a parallel to how Karl acts.

The people around her actually picks up on this, but doesn't say anything about it to her.

Similar to Karl, she also has a tendency to bottle up and hide her emotions. This often results in emotional outbursts when she reaches a tipping point.

** The important thing to note about Rachel is that the events of the incident were triggered directly as a result of her actions.**

One of the last things she does at the end of the story is perform in front of others with her violin. This is also the last time she plays the violin for an indeterminate amount of time.

Slow down. Don’t worry too much about terms and mechanics. The very beginning of FFXIV is very good at teaching you how to fight and how to do things, so long as you pay attention (and read your tooltips! Hover over your skills to read what they do)

if you’re getting lost in the lore, Jesse Cox has a very in depth and spoiler free video on Hydealyn’s history. I would argue you don’t need it, because you can coast by and learn everything you need by osmosis, but if you’re one of those ppl who wants a solid background before going forward it’s a great video!

The very beginning is a little overwhelming because you’re doing job AND main story quests at the same time right off the bat. You can do them at the same time and you’ll be fine, but the stories can get tangled, so you can choose to do blue job quests (they will teach you moves and buttons and stuff!! And unlock moves and buttons!) until you can’t do them anymore then use MSQ to get the experience in between. After you’re around 25-35 you can get a hang of spacing those out and just go ham on MSQ

you’re also learning the map which I can’t help you with i got lost in the shroud and ul’dah so often. click the blue text under the quest name to bring up where it is on the map

and it’s throwing new terms at you a lot. If you need them, it’ll come up again. If they’re not 100% necessary, like crafting and materia melding and stuff, it’ll be there for you to figure out whenever you want to.

If you miss a line of dialogue in a cutscene, which I did sometimes because I was speeding and then something important happened, hit / and then click “event” in your chat log. A log of dialogue will appear!

if you miss a cutscene entirely, go into any inn and click on the unending journey book.

when doing your outfits, go into character and then click the button near the top of your outfit display that says recommended gear. Always wear that. You can glamor over pretty looking outfits later

if you go into system -> HUD layout, you can move hud items around. It’s a little complicated, but I had to move a bunch of stuff to get comfortable!

spending your Gil is fine. you’ll earn it back, just save some for aetheryte teleporting fees for now

you can sell any items (like beastkin blood or animal leather) you get from combat at any vendor by dragging it from your inventory into theirs. Keep food (to eat!), and clothes until they’re far too low level. animal parts you are not going to need ever unless you’re into crafting

hall of the novice is good for getting your grips but dungeons at level 15 are way more effective for learning how to play your class in the actual game

don’t be afraid of being a beginner in the beginning dungeons!!! You are either queuing with other beginners or people who know they’re going to be in an arr dungeon with new players. You have a sprout you’re safe people will 90% of the time be super nice. Let people know you’re new and they’ll help! You got this!!!!!!

once you get your chocobo go find “my feisty little chocobo” it will let the bird fight with you AND OR HEAL YOU (HELPFUL <-BLACK MAGE)

We just had our onboarding for our new job! Feeling nervous and excited ahhhh >w<

We’ll be working as a line cook at a local Jewish deli!! The food is amazing there, the people are lovely, and the benefits are awesome! Not to mention we’ll be having a 4 day work week! Omg!!!

Our trial shift was last week and it went very well! They stay very very busy over there so it’ll be hard work + we’ll be having to multitask for most of the day. But I think we are up for the challenge! Margo’s feeling pretty good about it and I am too :33

there were a few things i didn't love about the most recent gquuuuuux episode, but it has made me so much more invested in nyaan...i need to see more of her. what is her deal. i know she's a refugee and she doesn't seem to have any family or a solid support system. she implies she may have piloted a mobile suit before when she pilots in this episode, and she's also absolutely insane when controlling the gundam. she's moved up on my radar now that i know she's a little bonkers. like yeah let that little freak pilot that gundam and kill people!!! it's enrichment for her!! i need to put her under a microscope!! i'm also interested in what the dynamics between her, shuji, and machu are really like. something that kind of feels rough with this series is just that there's not a whole lot of time to establish the dynamics between everyone in those everyday moments, because the show is so fast paced...i don't really have a feel for the dynamic between shuji and nyaan. before this episode, i don't really recall anything that hinted at her potentially having a crush on him, but the scene where they all lay down on the gundam does seem to imply that a bit. but then during the clan battle, she doesn't really seem to be thinking much about shuji at all. she even uses him as a human shield, and when she sees the kira kira, she just thinks about what machu told her. so i'm not entirely sure that what's going on is her having a crush on him? granted, she was pretty preoccupied lol. but besides the one blushing scene, she seems more generally focused on the friendship between all three of them. i'm hoping if she does have a crush on him, that doesn't just result in a love triangle between her, shuji, and machu. i also think this is actually an opportunity for her relationship with machu to gain some depth, provided we don't just go with a plain love triangle story, since there hasn't really been much other than the surface level friendship and the class division dynamics so far.
