I don’t know why I ended up drawing zero lower bodies. Would c!Technoblade be an avatar of the Hunt or the Slaughter?

I could see an argument made for either, and honestly I think it depends on what aspects of his character you want to highlight.

The best arguments for the Hunt comes from the DSMP, where he’s specifically stated to only really wants to kill those who pose a threat to humanity as a whole (ie: his belief that all governments will become tyrannical and will only cause harm in the long run) or those who have hurt him and/or his allies (“Those who have treated me with kindness? I will repay that kindness tenfold. And those that treat me with injustice, that used me, that hunt me down, that hurt my friends? I shall repay that injustice a thousand times over.). It could be argued that he rarely, if ever, kills people for no reason. He also has the animal association with his hound army (and by being a pig).

The best arguments for the Slaughter comes from his reputation in MCC, MCM, and similar pvp focused games/servers. His ability to enter a battle outnumbered and outgunned and still come out the other side victorious cannot be understated. Anyone facing him in battle knows to be afraid. In any game where he is on a team, he almost always has the highest kill count, sometimes more than his entire team combined. No one can dispute the amount of blood on his hands, all of it gained with a laugh and a cheer.

Also Chat could be argued to be the call of either the Hunt or the Slaughter, although the phrase “blood for the blood god” does feel more Slaughter leaning to me.

i remember eret kept saying how they wanted to do alot of lore stuff but communication was so bad that they never got to do anything much with their character.

it was so frustrating bro. i wish we had the same equality and casualness to everyones lore like we do with the qsmp.

looking back, everyone had really cool lore of their own. i remember i tried to keep up with everything, but things got too serious to the point where a bunch of CCs even started feeling like they cant even break certain BLOCKS because "its apart of history/its important to someone elses lore." i feel like thats why a "main storyline" format developed. everyone got overwhelmed and everything was considered super important, that viewers didnt really have the freedom to choose who to watch anymore because bigger streamers were stealing alot of the spotlight. and thats bound to happen! but my biggest issue is the way how literally everyone was treated about everything.

i recall several times where someone destroyed/lost something considered valuable and would get harassed on twitter. it was ridiculous man.

the popularity of dsmp was absolutely mental looking back. it was far from perfect that server was. but like, again, my biggest issue was how it was handled behind the scenes and how CCs were treated by everyone.

despite everything, i still hold this server close to my heart. i still really love it, but i can still say what went wrong with it yknow?

it had its golden moments, and when it did, it was fuckin awesome. i did really miss the casual laid back silly streams back then, like the ones quackity did. thats something else i wish was brought back.

anything involving emerald duo (technoblade and philza) and the syndicate were the BEST. they do no wrong ever 100% theyre correct in everything they do YEP. /j

i really, really wish we got to see the cyberknife story play out. thats something that ill miss yknow? for obvious reasons. but so many ridiculously talented artists and writers spawned from that fandom! i feel like the stories and lore were all left as an open book. and so many still continue technos character, i couldnt be any more happier :]

Scrapped lore bits from the Dream SMP I'm still mad we never got:

-Whatever lore Nihachu had planned for the day Doomsday happened

-The Egg finale scheduled for immediately after the Red Banquet

-Jschlatt's Las Nevadas resurrection (heavily implied by Quackity trying to get the Revival Book after gambling with Glatt and cc!Schlatt saying he'd be coming back to the SMP)

-Any further development of Puffychu

-Ranboo getting resurrected (cc!Ran saying he was meant to be revived two weeks after the prison break)

-Hitting on 16 in livestream format. Like I know we still got the lore but cc!Wilbur simply could not fit what the format brings into written form. The long periods of characters just talking to each other, body language, random impromptu moments, etc.

-The Manhunt Arc (slight speculation but the streams where Tommy reinforced Tubbo's old house and convinced Eryn, Sam Nook, and Phil to help him track and kill Dream after the prison break felt like it was setting up something)

-Cyberknife lore (cc!Techno planned on having his character leave and acting as an antagonist for the syndicate)

-Ranboo's ARG (never properly finished)

-Ranboo and Slime in the multiverse (I have no context but I swear cc!Ranboo said something about this and if I had to guess tftsmp!Ran and O!Ranboo could've had something to do with it)

-whatever Connor had going on (I know his SMPLive stuff I'm referring to him knowing Karl could time travel)

-Tubbo's ending of growing old and raising Michael (planned but cut for the nuclear ending)

-Tommy's soft ending which would apparently resemble Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. (this is secondhand information but I've seen people talk about it. I assume this to mean he would escape the SMP and we wouldn't see what happened to him. Cut for the nuclear ending)

-Captain Puffy being the main antagonist of Season 2 (as seen by her being the vessel for the fully powered Egg in the finale and having a skin ready for season 2)

Hmm good choice. Great minds think a like it seems. Yeah so you are right anon, Dreamweaver is the name I’ve finally decided on for the Dreamcatcher sequel, which will be about Dream and Punz learning about Dream’s dream abilities. I plan on it being my next project after I finish Musical Chairs, cuz I really wanna work on the Sweet Dreams series. Anyways in the fix, at some point, Dream actually enters Punz’s dream, so here is a snippet of that.

There’s fire and ash everywhere, filling his lungs with the smell of burning and the air in a film of condensed grey. He looks around and finds an obsidian grid above him obstructing the sky and vast craters scattered before him. TNT rains down like beautiful destructive fireworks drilling the landscape to bedrock like it has done before, decimating gaudy colorful buildings full of greed. Until all that remains of the once city, once country are patches of surviving land covered by a thin layer of sand and the single letter L of the obnoxious, over the top, lit up sign.

He smiles broadly, expecting nothing less from his ally, and yet not really expecting it at all. It shouldn’t surprise him that this is Punz’s dream, but it does all the same. The idea that someone wants vengeance on his behalf makes something bright blossom in his chest he never thought would ever again.

There’s a strong part of him that yearns to stay in this revenge fantasy. To sit back and watch the world fall to ruin for him. But he’s not here to wade through Punz’s fantasies and fears. He’s here, despite his better instincts, to more or less explain shit.

And yet, he has no idea where to start or how to best satiate Punz’s curiosity. It wasn’t the best plan he’s ever made (it wasn’t the worse either) but it’s not like he had a lot time to hash out the details and think things through.

So for a moment, he just contemplates and sorts his mind as he watches the TNT rip through the sky, flashing and sparkling like a festive light display. Ultimately, he decides the view from underneath is even better than from the grid above. Something about being able to see the horror splashed on Quackity’s face straight on and the feeling of power and superiority not bound to literally looking down.

Is this what Doomsday looked like for the server? 

Minus the hound army and Technoblade that is. The thought crosses his mind to add them and watch the dogs tear Quackity to shreds, but he quickly dismisses it. 

He doesn’t have all day to explain shit and he doesn’t want to get punched by Punz when they inevitably wake up later for nothing.

So, with a thought he appears next to Punz, who’s sitting feet swinging off the edge of the obsidian grid looking down at the devastation below. Sighing, he plops down next to him, “You know this is a good fucking view.”

Punz smiles back staring at Quackity, “Could be better.”

Dream chuckles back, “I suppose that’s true but to be fair, it’s not as fun if he isn’t here to view it. Right? Or at least that’s what I assume is the reason he’s not brutally mutilated to near death and fucking choking on blood.”

“Yeah…” Is all Punz mutters, taking in the glorious view.

And with that, Dream leans forward and pushes Punz off before falling himself into the gaping man made canyon. It’s not more than a few seconds before they’re no longer falling and Las Nevadas, or more accurate the hole that used to be, evaporates into an all too familiar obsidian box.

My headcanons I use within my writing from DSMP, QSMP and beyond;

Dream SMP: -Emerald earrings are given to those blessed by the Death Goddess, which includes; c!Techno, c!Philza, c!Niki, c!Ranboo, c!Eret, c!Foolish, c!Wilbur and c!Tommy -c!Techno, c!Philza, c!Eret, c!Foolish are ageless beings who can travel across the Realms -c!Philza uses his crows to send messages across the servers and dimensions -c!Techno and c!Phil can force their will upon Wither creatures to somewhat guide their decisions, they are still rather unruly beings -c!Techno's hound army is made up of the souls of those he and Phil defeated in battle -c!Techno can summon them at any time to do his bidding -c!Techno and c!Phil can make the conscious decision to leave a realm when they feel they have accomplished enough -c!Phil wears a braid that now has seven beads around the end in my QSMP tellings; Rose pink (Techno), daffodil yellow (Wilbur), leaf green (himself), blood red (Tommy), indigo purple (Ranboo), caramel brown (Niki), ocean blue (Chayanne) and gold (Tallulah) -c! and q!Phil suffered from injuries that greatly reduced his ability to fly for long periods of time, in some of my tellings he loses one or both wings all together depending on the canon the story decides while I write it -c!Eret is also known as Themis, where c!Foolish is their Undying Totem -c!Eret is blind from the long-term exposure to Withers from when they were set to be sacrificed by a Wither Cult. The only way to prevent the diseases progression was the Death Goddess' blessing. -c!Eret is related to Herobrine, where c!Foolish is the Death Goddess' first child with DreamXD until he went off on a power trip. Then She found c!Phil and had c!Wilbur. Which means technicially, c!Foolish and c!Wilbur are stepbrothers in my pantheon. -c!Eret contracted c!Techno to assassinate c!George when he was crowned after c!Eret was dethroned. c!Techno's only exception to his anarchist demands is c!Eret because they are fair and leave him alone, threatening c!Dream to do the same post c!Eret getting their throne back -c!Wilbur can also communicate using his Mother's crows, whether that be within the same server or across dimensions -c!Techno went to comfort c!Tubbo after the fireworks execution cause c!Techno might act like an emotionless badass, but he will always have a soft spot for youth -The Death Goddess is the one who prepares souls for their next chance or ferries them off to their afterlife -Herobrine controls all limbos (I also dubbed them 'the Unknown One') -DreamXD's controls travel between dimensions primarily, the Goddess can also use this ability -c!Ranboo's earrings all have meanings; a small L’Manburg flag (a momento to the nation lost), a bee (c!Tubbo), an allium (c!Tommy), a fox (c!Fundy) and a cookie (c!Niki) all hung from silver chains beside the gold-gilded emerald -The scars of previous deaths persist on your skin in the DSMP universe, as a reminder of how you died. -c!Eret is Harpocrates in the Syndicate, there was just never an opportunity to reveal themself as such. They were sworn in shortly after c!George's assassination.

-c!Technoblade and c!Philza make a point of brushing and braiding each others hair every morning they live together.

ALRIGHT QSMP TIME; -Everyone forgot their previous lives except q!Philza, the Angel of Death, for the first few weeks of that world. Also q!Wilbur, q!Niki, q!Bbh, q!Foolish -q!Philza still closely guards the emerald earring he will always wear

Rewatching the Doomsday stream while I work and-

There is some kind of angst potential in the hounds? When Technoblade joins to L'manburg VC to tell them he isn't going to wait and he is in L'manburg, its almost like the dogs start pushing him more? Like, what if they hear Tommy's voice through the communicator and get excited? Tommy was there for the Hound Army being built, they know Tommy!

IDK, something about the Hounds being excited to see Tommy just before the battle. Happy to see him! Tails wagging even as they bare teeth at all the unknown people.

Do you think they felt betrayed, too, when the fighting started and Tommy wasn't on their side?
