REALLY want to legit learn how to sew. I can't just buy myself things for various reasons, so I'm always looking at, like, how to make dinner with random shit around the house, how to alter clothes since they WILL fit differently from 2013 (because I only own old things and hand me downs), how to repair things at home, and I really just want to have things I like to wear without resorting to fast fashion or even shipping stuff to my friends and picking it up that way. I bought one jacket off of amazon as my, like, single purchase of the last five months and I feel really bad about it (which is silly and I know it, but alas), and I just really want to be able to sew actual garments on my own. Do I need another hobby right now? Not really but we'll see.

hii! i made a lot of my patches using sharpies and markers, and i’m scared that washing them will cause the markers to do that thing when you get the drawings wet (don’t know what that’s called but i hope you know) any tips to prevent that?

I know that there are weather protective coatings you can get, and I actually have a couple of patches that are coated it mod podge. But I'm not sure how well that would hold up getting washed.

I'll definitely open the floor for others to give input though.

Either way, I'd make a 'test patch' or even a few that you can throw in the wash first to see what happens

So I was rewatching The Vampire Diaries and I started at season 1, and they have this episode where they do a bikini car wash for charity.

Hi.

I don’t actually eat a lot of bread anymore but I do like bread. I really like sourdough bread but only the super crusty kind (soft sourdough does not hit the same way). Croissants are also really good, I like using them for sandwiches sometimes. Garlic bread is life. I’m ace and regularly make the garlic bread is better than sex joke. I like muffins, especially banana nut muffins, but I’m sorta allergic to bananas so I rarely eat them.

ALSO. I’m allergic to wheat so any wheat bread. Bad. Multigrain is also bad.

If there’s a specific bread you’d like to know my opinion on don’t hesitate to ask, this was kinda fun to think about.
