I’ve been away from Tumblr for a while. Facebook is the only way I’ll be able to keep anybody updated that’s relatively interested in anything I put out. Instagram also I suppose. Tumblr has became a kind of summary of months of activity and as there’s been little, there’s not much to report.

My side project, Novablood appears to gaining slight momentum and after the crushing news about @kendalcalling being cancelled, we’re obviously hugely disappointed but it’s for the greater good. Once we see an end to the Covid hold, we’ll look at possibly putting gigs together. Pointless mentioning anymore about gigs right now.

Latest 2020 releases have seen Novablood release newbies. First was In The Dark EP.

Mark Zowie dropped a new track, via Krafted digital. A track I was incredibly happy with. Unfortunately I received little feedback on the promo side of the release and saw only a handful of DJ reactions (all positive) but I feel the release was literally lost to the aether. Ah well. You live and learn.

To follow Novablood releases we released a new single called Melancholic which has a little more indie vibe to it. Lots of nice guitar and bass work on there and it just felt a little more organic which is something I wanted to really experiment with. Contrasting releases keeps me interested.

Behind the Track "Four" The truth behind this track is that I released it in ReverbNation as an exclusive track. Also, just like "Never Again" it was all about the vocal sample.
