going to a clairo concert w hamzah hcs plsss <33 love ur writing btw !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
outfits!!! mandy + reader (you already know what them fuckass men wear everyday)
Tumblr media
— you’d brought it up several times that you’d like to go see her live one day. and amongst your small group of friends, it was a well known fact that you loved clairo. following the release of the new album, your boyfriend wasted no time purchasing four tickets knowing you’d want mandy and martin to go aswell. the next day when you arrived home the curly hair boy stood awkwardly at the counter with his hands behind his back.
“hamzah.. water you doing?” you giggle, clearly finding yourself humorous.
“c’mere.” the boy said. as you walked over, he pulled the tickets out from behind his back. the look of shock on your face was unreal. your eyes darted to his face, to the tickets, back to his face again just to see if he was serious.
“baby,” you say dragging out the “y” sound. “i love you so much”. he tried to reply, but it was awfully hard to speak when his sweet girlfriend was peppering his face with kisses.
— when the day came, you and mandy wore matching dresses, just being the cuties you are. finding parking at the venue was a nightmare. and it didn’t make it any better that mandy had to park at least a mile away because there was simply no spots. martin and mandy walked ahead of you, chatting back and forth like the “old married couple” they are. hamzah kept you behind, trying to keep you from exploding with excitement.
— knowing the boy, of course he started talking out of nowhere. and normally you didn’t interrupt him; “hamzah shut up she’s playing ‘softly’”
— him and martin spent all of their pre-concert time waiting in line for merch, while you and mandy went to find the nearest stand for drinks and managed to bring the boys some back aswell.
“bout’ time” hamzah said sarcastically. the brunette handed you the beige shirt which read “charm” across the front.
“have i told you you’re the best boyfriend in the world?” you moved your arms up to rest onto hamzah’s shoulders, his hands instinctively finding your waist.
“maybe a couple times.” he quipped, making you both laugh. he truly was the best boyfriend ever.
— 100% the type to help you gather confetti to remember the night.
— the walk back to the hotel you’d all stayed in was possibly more fun than the entire concert if that was even possible. the four of you all giggly from the drinks from earlier and the post concert high. mandy was being carried on martin’s while you linked arms with your boyfriend. this way, the four of you fit on the sidewalk in one straight line. to the public, you might look crazy, but this time and this night meant the world to you.
— and of course, hamzah was there when the post concert depression hit. holding you as you cried about how it was the best night of your life, how he didn’t have to do this for you, and how much you loved him. he didn’t mind this. the boy sat listening intently about how much fun you had, only interrupting to tell you how you deserve to have fun.

damon salvatore getting dragged by his gf to a taylor swift concert? <3
I AM LIVVINGGGGGGG FOR TIHS PROMPT
i love you
--
anything for you
damon salvatore x f!reader
summary: the eras tour would be your dream come true, and maybe even Damon's.
..••°°°°••....••°°°°••....••°°°°••..
You woke with a start from your side of the bed, Damon's arm wrapped around you in a vice grip and your phone ringing off the hook somewhere across the room. You managed to shimmy out of his grip and patted his arm in apology when you noticed his eyes fluttering open.
Crossing the room and picking up your phone right as it stopped ringing, you noticed that you had ten missed calls from Caroline. Worried, you typed in your pass code to call her back but you didn't have to - because her face popped up on the screen again.
"Hello?" You denied the FaceTime and instead chose to use it as a call, hand running through your ragged bed head. "Is someone dead?"
"Turn on your camera right now. Turn it on, Y/N, I swear to God. I want to see your face when I tell you this." You didn't think you'd ever heard the blonde sound so excited, and that was definitely saying something.
You pulled the phone away from your face and groaned, tapping a few buttons until Caroline's screen appeared. But it wasn't her face, she was looking at her laptop. You tried to focus your eyes but were failing horribly.
"Do you believe it!?!"
"Caroline, I just woke up. I can't see that." You tried your best not to sound annoyed with your best friend.
Caroline's camera flipped, smile shining brightly. "That, my love, is an email I got this morning from Taylor Nation containing an early access code to Eras Tour tickets in Atlanta! They said it was for that Spotify challenge we did, so I'd bet you have one too."
She didn't need to say that because you had already pulled out your email app, refreshing it to see if there was a gift waiting there.
There was.
"Oh my god!" You jumped a bit and Caroline renewed her screeching over the phone, immediately jumping into outfit ideas.
"Fuck me." Damon's curse was barely audible from behind you.
..••°°°°••....••°°°°••....••°°°°••..
You began preparing him from that day forward. You knew that he knew about Taylor Swift, especially since you played her all the time, but he didn't know enough. Not Eras Tour enough.
He was reluctant at best. Always a quip and a half away from you throwing your phone at his head.
"So you're saying that she vanished for years because she was so criticized and then made it her entire personality? Came out with an album about how misunderstood she was? Dramatic." The last word was sing-song, casually flipping a page in his magazine.
You stalked over to his place on the couch angrily, gripping his leg to uncross his ankles and sit at the edge of the couch, forcing him into a sitting position. "It's iconic, Damon. She's a literal superstar."
His smile was sardonic but his eyes only held love. "Whatever you say, Darling?"
..••°°°°••....••°°°°••....••°°°°••..
You were practically vibrating in your hotel room, placed in front of the mirror and putting the last touches on what you believed to be the perfect outfit.
It was your version of the Midnights body suit, just a shade darker, and a bit more tassel. Your eyes looked up and caught Damon gazing at you from his position in the bed. You offered him a large smile, knowing he was definitely about to step out of his comfort zone. He'd been a good sport about the outfit though, and was wearing a black 'My Girlfriend's a Swiftie' shirt. It was adorable.
You turned to him and leaned down with a quick kiss. "Thank you for coming with me."
He pulled you back for a more drawn out one, and gave you his signature smirk. "Anything for you."
..••°°°°••....••°°°°••..
By the time that Taylor got to your favorite era, you were already on your third wind. Damon had been way more amiable about it than you thought he would be, swaying along to one side while you and Caroline were going absolutely feral, belting all the lyrics.
That was, until the surprise songs. She started strumming the first few lines of Timeless and you felt Damon stiffen next to you, jaw clenching a bit. You were over the moon, Timeless was one of your favorite songs. Little did you know it was Damon's too.
You swayed along to the beginning of the song, arm linked through Caroline's. But about halfway through, over the singing crowd, you heard the man next to you singing softly.
"I thought 'bout it as I started looking around at these precious things that time forgot."
You tried your best not to turn and stare at him, but he definitely noticed the grin spreading across your face. You started singing along too, other arm reaching out to grasp his hand.
..••°°°°••....••°°°°••....••°°°°••..

Grayson Waller and the friends to lovers trope
Tumblr media
Everyone automatically assumes you two are a couple when they first see you together.
You two stand so close you might as well just hug everywhere you go.
The entire roster is convinced you’re secretly dating and just not saying anything because you don’t want the public to freak out.
Surprise! You two are not dating but in fact just crushing hard on each other but you’re both bad at your feelings and would never admit it even in a life and death situation because you’re both convinced the other doesn’t feel the same.
But seriously, it’s so obvious…
It’s not like Grayson grabs you food from catering so you can eat after a match.
It’s not like you two always sit extremely close during podcasts or interviews.
It’s not like you guys always get plane tickets together so you can sit next to each other on flights.
It’s not like you guys cuddle and watch movies in hotel rooms while in another city for shows.
It’s not like he didn’t break character and run out to check on you when you might have gotten injured.
It’s not like you don’t buy matching floral button downs.
It’s not like he doesn’t post pictures of you two together on trips and tag you as his ‘beautiful partner’.
Totally not like you guys aren’t already together or anything…
It takes the entire female roster to convince you that he likes you too.
Charlotte tells you about how she always sees him staring at you with what she describes as “literal heart eyes”.
Naomi tells you about how he’s always turning his head when he hears your name.
Michin says she hears him talking so highly about you to the other guys.
Liv admits that she heard from a friend of a friend that he thinks you’re on a date every time you go to a restaurant together.
Samantha says he tells her to say your name extra loud because he knows you deserve it.
Finally, you said you’d say something to him…
You had just finished packing your gear and were supposed to find Grayson. He said you could go to the hotel together and told you to meet him near catering.
You didn’t find him, but you did find Austin.
“Hey Austin! Have you seen Grayson?”
“Oh, yeah—your boyfriend? He’s at the vending machine down the hall.”
“Thanks~!” Austin walked away with a smile on his face. You never corrected him when he called Grayson your boyfriend.
You saw Grayson at the vending machine just as Austin had said. His back was turned to you as he was picking out snacks. His bag was on his back and you could still see the charm you bough him a few years ago during a trip in Florida.
It was a hammerhead shark holding a pineapple in its little fins. You had a matching charm of a great white shark holding a strawberry. The charms were one of those best friend ones that would magnetize together when close and form a heart.
You jogged up to Grayson, throwing an arm over his broad shoulders. “What are you getting?”
“I was getting you some of those cookies you like.” He bent down to grab the baggie of cookies from the opening of the vending machine. When he came back up, he handed you the bag. “About ready to go?”
“Yeah, but I wanted to talk before we left…” You stared at the cookies now occupying your hands. No matter how many times you rehearsed this confession, you could’ve never prepare yourself for the real deal.
Grayson raised an eyebrow. “Yeah, what’s up?” He sensed your hesitation. “Everything ok? You know you can tell me anything.”
You looked up to finally meet his eyes. “I know, I’m just nervous.”
“What’s there to be nervous about? It’s just me.”
“That’s the point, Gray.”
He frowned, confusion written all over his face. He was super expressive, which made it easy to read him. But he sometimes had a hard time reading you, like now. “What–”
“It’s always been you, Grayson. You’ve always made me so nervous which makes this so hard.” You sighed and looked away from him.
“I don’t understand, (Y/N). Why do I make you so nervous? What’s so hard?” All he wanted to do was give you a hug to calm you, but your words startled him. He thought this might be the end of your friendship.
You took a deep breath and decided to just voice all of your thoughts. “I’m scared to tell you this because I feel we won’t be the same after. But everyone has been telling me I just need to do it.”
You took one of his hands in yours, and he squeezed it for reassurance. He stayed silent, waiting for you to speak your mind. “Grayson, we’ve been friends for so long and I don’t want to lose you but I also don’t want to keep living like I’m hiding something from you.”
“I can’t pinpoint exactly when I started feeling like this. Maybe it was when you gave me your jacket at the movies, or maybe it was when you held me all night while I cried over a break up.”
“But you’ve been there forever for me, and I need to tell you that I love you.”
He could’ve fainted right there. He listened to your entire confession. His mouth slightly agape and his eyes wide in surprise.
“I understand if this makes our relationship uncomfortable for you, I just wanted to–”
Grayson put a finger to your lips, effectively shushing you. “How have you never caught on that I feel the same?” He asked.
It was his turn to talk and you let him say everything he wanted. “I guess I can blame myself, too, since I never really caught on either…”
You laughed. “Are you serious?” You asked in astonishment. You were over the moon that Grayson was saying he feels the same connection.
“Yeah, I’m serious! Why do you think Austin calls me your boyfriend? Because I won’t shut up about you!”
“You’re so beautiful, and amazing, and I thought I’ve been dropping hints for a while but I guess they weren’t too good.”
Grayson laced his fingers with yours. The warmth of him bringing comfort to you.
“Gray, how would I ever catch onto your ‘hints’. You flirt with everyone.”
He rolled his eyes. “Have I ever talked to anyone the way I talk to you? Do you even look at my Instagram posts? I don’t think I’ve posted anyone but you in the last four years.”
“Ok, so maybe they were obvious…” you smiled sheepishly. “But I’m dense, so cut me some slack.”
Grayson laughed. “Yeah, you’re dense. But I love it. I love everything about you. Everything you think is a flaw is just another reason I’m in love with you.”
“How long have you felt like this?” You almost whispered.
“Practically since we met…”
“You’ve felt like this for almost fourteen years, Grayson?!”
“Don’t get mad at me! You didn’t say anything until now either!”
You tugged him into a hug that he happily returned. You both giggled. “You’re such a pain.”
Grayson laid his head on top of yours. “You say that like you didn’t just confess your undying love to me.”

I love my mom but the lying and guilt tripping gets to be so much sometimes.
IE she overheard me talking about getting my brother a ticket to fly to comic con with us. She got pissed about money (fair enough I guess since he still lives with her and my dad) but then I brought up we were helping, and she got mad at me saying she missed my college graduation because of money so why didn't we help?
I just about lost it. I BEGGED her to come. I offered to pay for all the hotels or plane tickets. She's scared of flying so wouldn't do that, and won't let my dad go anywhere without her, so that was a no. And she said the drive was way too long, she'd be really uncomfortable, and my dad couldn't take that long off work.
She didn't come because she didn't think it was important. Bottom line.
In fact, I even mentioned at one point before the graduation I was grateful, as much as the pandemic sucked, that the graduation would be getting livestreamed because it meant she and my dad would see it no matter what. And she (granted, drinking at the time, but still) said it was horrible for me to celebrate people dying just so I could have a graduation.
EVERY TIME I brought up my graduation, she never showed the slightest interest, nor the slightest bit of sympathy that she was missing it. She went out of her way to blame me, act like I was the one being unreasonable. She continued showing absolutely no interest for my Masters graduation, so that I ended up not even bothering to travel (online program) because I knew no one would be there for me anyway, so why bother.
I didn't even get to go to my high school graduation, because it was an online program on the other side of the state. I had to be held back a year when depression hampered my academic performance, and my older siblings had already dropped out; in desperation, trying to motivate me not to do the same, my dad promised me that if I made it, they would too. So I worked through, got the credits I needed... and nope. My mom screamed that my dad spent too much on getting the car up to pass inspection standards (how does that even make sense) and that we therefore couldn't afford to go. So I didn't get to attend that either.
And you know what? Honestly, I made my peace with it- with the fact that my mom will never care about me the way she cares about my sister, that she just doesn't think my successes are worth celebrating (unless she can brag to someone online to seem like a good parent, I guess) and lacks the empathy to understand why me having my parents with me at major life events is a big deal. I worked through that and made my peace with it and have quietly decided I am not even going to bother inviting them to any future events I have, unless maybe I get married one day, I guess, though I feel she'd still try to find excuses not to go to that if it was more than a four hour drive from her.
I could deal with all that. But she fucking LIED about it to guilt trip me. She lied that she WANTED to come and it was money preventing her. That I never tried to help her get to me. And that's the part that hurts the most. That she wasn't there to celebrate when it mattered, but now has the nerve to lie about it and play victim, as though I'm the reason she wasn't there.
She always does this shit! When I was a senior in undergrad, there was an undergraduate research symposium everyone in my major was required to present at. It was ALSO on Zoom, so no excuse not to make it. I asked her and my dad multiple times if they'd like to see my present my research paper on a Japanese death cult and the effects it had on Japanese culture. They BOTH declined. So I invited my grandma, who was happy to be invited, and my best friend even walked her through setting up Zoom for the first time. AFTER the event, when I was telling my mom and dad on the phone about my grandma loving my presentation, THEN my mom got livid and said she had NEVER been invited, and of COURSE she would have come if she had the chance, why did I invite my grandma and not her?
She doesn't want to share in important things with me but then she gets pissed if I then share them with others instead. I guess she wants to feel so important that her declining would make me refuse entirely instead (as with my Masters degree ceremony?) I don't know.
I'm just tired of this man.

You were currently in the bathroom at the airport trying to use one of your make-up wipes to catch the tears that were continuously falling.
Your flight had now been delayed for three days and you had been stuck at the airport ever since trying to get back home because the last thing that you were about to do was go crawling back to Jack after accusing you of cheating on him.
All of the money and time you spent trying to make his birthday perfect all for it to come crashing down around you.
Your phone had been dead since you lost your charger or left it at the hotel room which you had shared with Jack and you couldn't buy a new one since you used Apple Pay and had no cash on you until a nice stranger who worked at one of the many gift shops bought one for you. As soon as it had a little charge to it, you were going to call Blanca and Jessica since you were too scared to call your older sister Melissa.
She was worse than Blanca at times and you knew she would have no hesitations to kill Jack without even asking for an explanation.
You just couldn’t put your finger on how everything could have gone so wrong so quickly. One moment you were talking and laughing with your boyfriend and the next moment he had packed your bags for you and cussed you out and told you to basically get out of his life.
The amount of hurt that you currently felt you couldn’t even put into words.
Meanwhile, Blanca was getting antsy because she hadn’t heard from you and the two of you usually talked every single day.
“Jessica, this is going on day three and we haven’t heard from her and I’m starting to think the absolute worst. I mean she’s with Jack so I know she’s safe, but still. She would at least check in with us from time to time to let us know she was alright.”
Jessica was currently scrolling through her phone as she looked at all of the unanswered text messages she sent to you while Blanca looked down at the thirteen unanswered calls from you and finally broke down and decided to call Ace and Jessica agreed.
“Just call Ace at this point, he’s got to know something. But if something had happened, I would have thought that he would have said something by now.” Jessica responded while putting her phone down on the coffee table as Panchito jumped in her lap.
“Hello?”
“Ace…. you have ten seconds to tell me where my best friend is and if she’s okay.” Blanca said while putting the phone on speaker so Jessica could hear the conversation too.
“Wait… she’s not at home with you?!” Ace asked, suddenly starting to panic.
“Why would she be?! Shouldn’t she be with her boyfriend?!?” Jessica exclaimed and now Blanca could feel her eyes watering because every possible scenario of you being hurt was going through her head.
“Umm about that…”
“About WHAT?” Blanca responded knowing that Jack was somehow to blame.
“Long story short. Druski saw the two of us out together and we were planning the surprise party, but you already knew that. He took pictures, showed him to Jack and of course Jack and his trust issues assumed the absolute fucking worst and broke up with her. Like apparently he packed her bags and bought her plane ticket home without letting her explain anything. He basically thought she was cheating on him with me. I haven’t heard from her because I thought she was ignoring me! She should have been home by now! THAT WAS THREE DAYS AGO!”
“I am going to fucking kill him. How dare he hurt her like that when she was doing all of this shit for him!?”
“That’s exactly what I told him. Me and Jack haven’t talked since this whole thing happened and now… damn… I don’t want to tell him we haven’t heard from her but…”
“No, fucking tell him and then also tell him that I will cut his dick off and feed it to him for hurting my best friend. How the fuck are we even supposed to find her? Her phone is obviously dead because it keeps going to voicemail! Shit, shit, shit!”
“We’ll figure it out.”
“Just.. let me call her sister Melissa. Jack really shouldn’t be worried about me or Jessica once Melissa finds out what he did. He better go in the witness protection program right along with Druski.”
After Ace had hung up with Blanca all he did was rest his head in his hands because he had no idea where to start.
Today was an off day for Jack and him, Druski, and the rest of PG were just having a day out since Jack had been moping ever since you left. He had no one to blame but himself as well as Druski, but they wanted to drag him outside to hopefully get his mind off of it. Ace was the last one to make it to the sprinter van and it was awkward as he and Jack made eye contact. Jack quickly looked down and paid attention to his phone.
“What in the world happened between you two and why are you shooting daggers at each other? Well, Ace more so than Jack.” Neelam asked, looking at the awkward exchange.
When no one responded, she asked another question.
“And where in the world is Y/N? And why did she just abruptly leave? This whole time I thought she was just umm… getting certain things together and that’s why I hadn’t seen her, but Quiiso told me otherwise.”
The tension could have been cut with a knife until Ace finally spoke up, not wanting to wait any longer since Neelam was clearly waiting for an explanation.
“Umm, Jack, Druski just to let you know Y/N never made it home and she’s now missing since no one has heard from her. So we can thank you two for that.”
“WHAT?!” Everyone in the van exclaimed, but Jack was the loudest. His calls to you were going straight to voicemail and his texts were going unanswered but he didn’t think anything of it because you were obviously pissed at him and had a right to be.
“JACK, WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?!” Neelam asked while looking over at him, but had instead turned his attention to Ace to get more of an explanation.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN MISSING?!” Jack said while looking at Ace in disbelief.
Now his head was spinning and he felt his heart beating out of his chest and he was literally trying to do his best in order to keep it together.
“Blanca and Jessica haven't heard from her in three days and the three of them talk every day, multiple times a day and that isn’t like her. Something had to happen and if she’s hurt, you best believe that me along with Jess, Blanca, and Melissa are going to kick your ass. All of this shit could have been avoided if you would have just come to us and asked us but no what did you do? Listen to the dumbass next to you and not get all the facts.”
“But you have to admit…”
“I’m not admitting shit because nothing happened.” Ace replied while eyeing Druski who simply held up his hands in defense.
“I got an idea to get her back though!” Druski said while smiling while Jack just rolled his eyes.
“Her favorite flowers and some chocolate! Or… what if you serenade her? Luv is Dro perhaps? Come on, she can’t say no to that. Hit her with them side strokes! Gets them every time. But I mean if we’re really going for it….” Druski added and everyone now followed suit with Jack and rolled their eyes and he was cut off by Urban.
“Did your dumbass really just say that? It’s going to take a fucking miracle for her to even get her to say two words to either of you.” Urban commented while looking at him confused. Urban had tried to call you too when he found out but once again didn’t think anything of it because he knew that you were upset at his best friend and probably didn’t want to talk to him either.
“What in the world happened for the last damn time?! Someone fill me in!” Neelam said clearly annoyed.
“Druski took it upon himself to take pictures of me and Y/N and send them to Jack with the idea that she was cheating on him with me when all we were doing was planning his birthday party, but everyone here knew that. Obviously except for him because like I said before, I’m trying to get at Blanca, but now that she has no idea where her best friend is because of me, that probably won’t go anywhere.”
“Jack….. All she literally talks about is you and how excited she was for you to see everything that she did for you. Like you should have seen how her face lit up every time someone mentioned you and Druski…. I get that you were trying to be a good friend, but you should have gotten facts first. Y/N is a true sweetheart and she’s told me how she had gotten cheated on before too and the last thing that she would do is cheat on Jack especially with one of his best friends. Now we have two single unhappy people all because of a misunderstanding, but wait… that still doesn’t tell me where she is.”
“Jack cussed her out and kicked her off the tour. Packed her bags, handed her a plane ticket and told her to be gone before he got back from his show and now her phone is obviously dead because no one has talked to her and that was three days ago.” Ace replied, finally getting the entire story from Druski last night.
All Neelam did was hang her head in disbelief.
“I honestly don’t think you know all that she was planning and everything she went through for you. She hasn’t even met your parents or grandparents in person yet, but still reached out to them to get them to come out here for you. This has to be the stupidest thing you’ve ever done and you deserve to be single.” Urban explained and all Jack did was run his hand through his curls clearly frustrated.
Right before Blanca was going to call Melissa her phone went off indicating a facetime call from you and she immediately answered.
“OH MY GOD, DO NOT EVER FUCKING DO THAT AGAIN!” Blanca exclaimed as your face came into view and Jessica immediately ran to the phone to see that you were in fact, okay.
“I promise, I won’t.” You quietly answered and Blanca knew what Ace had told her was true. You were at the airport and your boyfriend thought that you cheated on him.
“Okay um Ace filled me in so we don’t have to talk about that right now. But what we do need to talk about is how we’re going to get you back home. I can call your parents…”
“NO! Just….” You thought about how you told your parents all that you were doing for Jack and would ask way too many questions about why you had suddenly left him.
“They can have the jet to you in no time! Your flight has been delayed for three days and I need to physically see you in front of me to know that you’re okay. I mean I know you aren’t, but like I said we’ll discuss it later. I’m calling Melissa and telling her we need the private jet to go and get you and do not fight me on this. I have to save my energy to fight Jack and Druski.”
Well, telling Melissa was probably the lesser of the two evils.
You were now on a flight headed home with your big sister Melissa after having to stay at the airport for another six hours and your head was currently in her lap as you continued to cry your eyes out.
“Are you going to tell me what he did or am I going to have to pull it out of you? I mean I could just ask Blanca and Jessica, but I want to hear it from you. You have barely said two words to me since I came to get you.”
After a few more sniffles, you finally said in a quiet voice,
“He accused me of cheating on him. I’m assuming he thought with Ace since that’s the only thing that really makes sense. But I have no idea how he jumped to that conclusion. All we were doing was planning his surprise party for him, but all of PG was behind it except Urban since I was going to do something for him too and fly out his younger sister. I tried to keep it from Urban too, but that kind of went out the window.”
“Oh.”
“Melissa, please do not do anything crazy. I know that you want to kill him.”
“No promises. He hurt my baby sister so his ass needs to deal with the consequences. How dare he do that and think that he’ll get away with it?”
“He packed my bags and handed me a plane ticket and basically cussed me out in not so many words.”
“His ass is in for it now. Don’t make me tell them to turn this plane around because I will. No one talks to you that way.”
“NO! I just want to go home and forget that this relationship ever happened. It’ll just be easier that way.”
“But you really like him.”
“Liked. Past tense. I don’t like men who accuse me of things without even asking me and giving me no explanation. That’s something that little boys do. I don’t want anything to do with him.”
“Well, what about the party, what’s happening with that?”
“Ace has the key to the house where it’s going to take place and will give it to the staff in the morning of his birthday so that everyone can get in. I’ll still throw it for him, but I won’t be anywhere in sight.”
“You’re better than me because his ass can fuck all the way off.”
“I just… I don’t want all my hard work to go to waste and even though he did what he did, he does deserve this because he does work so hard and I did want to do something nice for him, but best believe after this party is over, I’m blocking him.”
“Good girl, but before you do that, I need to have some choice words with him.”
“Hmm, you, Blanca, Jessica, Ace, and Panchito apparently.”
“But Panchito can’t bite Jack, he’ll be on house arrest again if he does.”
“Blanca might make an exception in this case.”
You had now been home for about a week and a half and Jack’s party would be taking place tomorrow since everything was now officially in place.
Blanca let Ace know that you were okay, but you hadn’t talked to him since everything happened either.
It was nothing against him at all, you were just still so extremely hurt by the entire thing.
Jessica had offered to make the two of you carne asada fries and you took this opportunity to unlock your phone and check your notifications.
Jack had been blowing up your phone non-stop to the point where you had to specifically silence his notifications. All he said he wanted to do was to speak to you and apologize, but you weren’t having it.
You would open the messages and not respond so Jack knew that you were reading them. Meanwhile, you had been in steady communication with Maggie to let her know all of the flight details and that they would have a private driver take them to the house once they landed on the airstrip.
What you didn’t tell her was that you wouldn’t be in attendance. You were obviously good at hiding behind text messages, but if you were to see him in public, you knew that you would either want to immediately cuss him out or break down and cry or both.
The last thing you wanted to do was cry in front of everyone, especially his parents since they hadn’t even met you in person before.
Ace promised to keep you updated about the party, but you honestly couldn’t care less. But at the same time, it would look weird if you weren’t at your “boyfriend’s” birthday party since you had basically planned the entire thing.
If you actually decided to go, you were definitely about to bring back up with you.
Back up meaning Jessica, Blanca, and Melissa.
You knew your heart and knew deep down that you were a good person and that your soulmate was going to make himself known when the time was right because obviously that person was not Jack as much as you wanted it to be.
Scrolling and looking through all of the text messages that Jack sent you, you decided to send him one and you promised that this would be the last time that you ever did this. You didn’t deserve how he treated you and you damn sure weren’t about to go through that again.
You- Have fun at your party and have a nice fucking life. Oh and happy birthday, I guess.
And you then immediately blocked him.
Jack woke up to seeing multiple text messages from different family and friends wishing him happy birthday, but the only person that he wanted to hear from was you and knew that was a long shot. He hadn’t been sleeping or eating properly since you left and had found out that you in fact did not cheat on him. It had gotten worse when Ace had told him that no one had heard from you.
All you’ve been doing is reading his text messages and not responding or ignoring his calls.
He definitely didn’t blame you with how you were acting towards him and knew that he deserved it. He just wanted to talk to you in person so that he could properly apologize to you. Doing it over a text message was not enough. He disrespected you to your face, so he felt that it was only right to apologize to you to your face.
He pulled out the necklace that you had gotten for him for what he assumed was one of his many birthday gifts with ‘KY’ on it. He noticed that you had left it on the dresser and opened it to see what it was. He didn’t even know if you realized that you had left it. But what were you going to do with it if you had taken it with you anyway?
He knew about the surprise party since it wasn’t really a surprise anymore since Ace had obviously told him after he had sent you home. The only thing that he wanted to do today was lay in bed and complain about missing his ex-girlfriend, but of course he couldn’t disappoint his friends and family that had come all this way to see him which he once again wasn’t supposed to know. He could finally let out a sigh of relief when Urban had told him that you finally responded to him and that you were okay. When he found out that no one had heard from you, he debated on leaving and going to your home state of New York to find you, but where would he even begin?
As much as he didn’t want to, he started to get ready since Ace had told him the time that they would be picked up from the hotel and taken to the house that was in Paris.
How fucking ironic.
You had told Jack that this was one of your favorite places in the world and couldn’t wait to be able to come here and experience it with him. It only made sense for her to have his party here.
Now, you would never get a chance to, all because of him accusing you of cheating.
As they were pulling up to the house, Shloob’s eyes went wide looking at how big it was on the outside.
“Damn, Jack you truly are a dumbass. Look at this! Look at everything that she did for you. Sorry to call you a dumbass on your birthday, but…”
Jack didn’t even bother responding, he just stared at the text message that you had sent him a few minutes ago and attempted to send one back when he found out that you had officially blocked him.
He was actually surprised that it took you this long.
“When your ass gets in here, you better act surprised and don’t let all her hard work go to waste.” Ace said while being the first one to hop out of the sprinter van and make his way inside.
Jack and Urban were the last ones to make it inside and were greeted by everyone screaming happy birthday to the two of them. Deep down, Jack was hoping that you for some strange reason would still show up to the party in order for him to be able to apologize, but he wasn’t going to hold his breath.
If Melissa, Blanca, and Jessica knew, he didn’t stand a chance.
So, today he would attempt to enjoy his party and tomorrow, he was going to be on the first flight to New York and was praying that you would at least listen to what he had to say.
He just had to get through your sister and best friends first, and he couldn’t forget about Blanca’s dog Panchito.
Jack’s jaw was on the floor when he saw that everything in the house was Louisville themed and there was a small display that had all of the venues that Jack had performed at around Louisville with the KFC Yum Center being in the middle and being the biggest one, while on the other side was actual pictures that you had taken of Urban entitled ‘The one time the photographer let me steal his camera’ and in the middle was the banner that said Happy 25th Birthday Jack and Urban along with baby pictures of the both of them underneath it.
Ace and Neelam weren’t lying when they said that you had gone all out for him.
Even though Urban had a hand in planning this party for Jack, he had no idea that you had been planning all of this for him too until his younger sister came from around the corner and tackled him in a bone crushing hug while Jack went to greet his parents as well as grandparents.
As he was hugging Maggie, she whispered in his ear,
“You have an amazing girlfriend and you better not do anything stupid. I like her, so where is she so I can finally meet her in person?”
Jack didn’t get a chance to answer as the lights dimmed and everyone’s attention was now on the large projector screen in the backyard and your face suddenly appeared. You had filmed this about a month ago and at the time couldn’t wait for Jack to see it, but now you wish that you would have deleted it.
“I hope that everyone is having an amazing time since the birthday boys have finally arrived. I wanted to do something special for the both of you since I know how hard the two of you work and that deserves to be celebrated. So first off say thank you to Ace for helping me make all of this happen and Jack, I know we haven’t been dating for very long but I definitely once again thank Ace for introducing us. Since you’ve come into my life I’ve felt nothing but happiness and you have shown me how I deserve to be treated. I hope you see many more birthdays and I’m definitely blessed to be able to call you my boyfriend and how could I forget Urban? Sometimes the photographer deserves to be in front of the camera so thank you for letting me do our little photoshoot and thank you for sharing your best friend with me.”
Next was a slideshow that featured you, Jack, Urban, Neelam, Ace, 2fo, Shloob, Quiiso, Nemo, and they were all pictures from his current tour so far and ended with a picture of simply Jack and Urban when they were younger.
Well, if he didn’t already feel shitty before, he felt it even more so now.
Jack and Urban went around mingling with everyone from outside near the pool area and back inside near the mini Louisville display, but Urban could tell that he was distracted and almost felt bad for him. Almost.
“You’re looking for her aren’t you?” Urban whispered in his ear and Jack sighed before he simply nodded.
“Well, the night isn’t over so you never know. I… just… I hope she at least lets you apologize to her but….”
“I’ll be lucky if she even lets me do that. You didn’t see the look on her face when I basically told her to leave and… shit. I wish I could take it all back. If she has her bodyguards with her, I can forget it.”
“Wait! She has bodyguards?! Since when?!”
“Her sister and best friends and I might as well throw Panchito in there too. But at least he can’t bite me because he’ll be on house arrest again if he does.”
“But we’re in a different country so do those same rules apply?” Urban curiously asked.
“Ehh, probably not.”
Jack had gone over to talk to Bryson and was over there for a few minutes before Neelam tugged on his arm. You had sent her a text earlier in the day telling her that you were in fact in Paris and that you would be at the party. All she told you was that she would support whichever decision you made regarding Jack and it felt nice to hear her say that.
“Hmm?”
“Get Urban and go in the middle of the room, it’s time for the cake.”
Next thing Jack knew, he heard your voice singing happy birthday to him and Urban and carrying a Pokemon themed cake out to where he was. Everyone else had joined in singing with you, but Jack kept his eyes on you the entire time not believing that you were in fact standing in front of him. He looked at the outfit you were wearing and his mouth was hanging wide open. Neelam was recording the interaction as you had finally reached the middle with the two of them and waited for them to blow out the candles.
Since the caterer that you were going to get had originally messed up the cake, it was too late to find someone else so you decided to make it yourself. It took you calling your grandmother who was vacationing in Hawaii who was not happy you had interrupted her surfing lessons, but she of course helped you anyway.
The perks of being the youngest grandchild.
And you had done it this morning when you had flown in from New York with Melissa, Jessica, and Blanca in tow.
Of course they were also there, but were standing to the side keeping a close eye on Jack as well as Druski.
Druski had made eye contact with Blanca and quickly looked away. He was going to make it his mission to hide from her for the entire night.
Once the two of them blew out the candles, you caught Jack off guard when you reached up to kiss him and he eagerly kissed you back knowing that this was probably the last time that this would ever happen.
“Happy birthday to my favorite person in the entire universe.” You quietly said while not taking your eyes off of him and it tugged at his heart to hear you say that knowing you were only trying to keep up with the appearance of making sure everyone still thought the two of you were together.
But what Jack didn’t know is that you were being truthful in what you said. Yes, he had definitely hurt you, but up until a week and a half ago he definitely had been your favorite person in the entire universe. You just wanted to block out what happened and despite what he did wanted for him to enjoy his birthday.
Jack made it up in his mind that he had to make it his mission to get you alone in order to properly apologize to you before the night was over. Because he knew that he might not get another opportunity.
“Okay lovebirds! Break it up! Save it for later!”
The both of you laughed as you had then set the cake down Melissa had given each of them a knife in order to cut it.
You were a little nervous about giving her the task of handing them the knives, but she had promised you that she wasn’t going to stab Jack or Druski with them.
After they had cut the cake, different guests had whisked you away to talk to you including Jack’s family which you were actually dreading.
Not because you were nervous to meet them, but because after this, they probably weren’t going to see you anymore.
As you were talking to Maggie, Jack took this as an opportunity to come up behind you and slide his arm around your waist and kiss your cheek which you gladly accepted.
It was now or never despite his heart rate increasing and feeling as if it was about to burst out of his chest.
“Jack, you better not let her go. I’m serious. I like this one.” Maggie said while eyeing him and he did his best to keep a playful look on his face despite knowing that he had already lost you and probably lost you for good.
“You don’t have to worry about that, but in the meantime all of you have been stealing my girlfriend all night and it’s my turn.”
“Fine, but bring her back once you’re done!”
Jack simply leaned down and whispered in your ear,
“Please let me properly apologize to you. Is there somewhere we can go where it will just be the two of us?”
You simply nodded your head.
“Come on and follow me.”
You looked behind you to make sure that no one had spotted the two of you and made your way upstairs to the bedroom that you usually occupied every time your family came to stay here.
You made sure to lock the door behind the two of you and then turned around to face Jack who had a nervous look on his face. He was wearing his glasses and you were doing your best to not fold right then and there.
“First off, thank you for doing this for me. I know it took a lot of time and effort and I’m definitely grateful because you didn’t have to.”
“You’re welcome.” You quietly said while trying to look everywhere but Jack’s eyes.
“I don’t think I can put into words how sorry I am for what I did. I was wrong to just go off what someone had said without even asking you about it. Deep down, I knew you wouldn’t cheat on me, especially with Ace. But, I admit that I got scared. That feeling of being cheated on is something that I never want to go through again and I figured if I pushed you away that there wasn’t a chance of that happening despite how much I want to be with you. I can understand if after tonight you want nothing to do with me, but I at least owe you this much and I’ll probably never forgive myself for the way I talked to you because you definitely didn’t deserve that. I just…. There honestly isn’t an excuse for it. And the fact that you were M.I.A. for three days because of me too and I…”
“I appreciate the apology.”
“And thank you for still keeping the persona of us still being together when we were downstairs.”
“Of course, but I meant what I said.” At this point, there was no reason to lie.
“Meant what?”
“That you were still my favorite person in the universe despite what you did and I feel so stupid for saying that. I cared about you so much and I still do! I flew from New York for you at 2 am so I could make your cake for you because the caterer had messed it up so it would be ready in time! And…”
You couldn’t help but start to cry and Jack didn’t know if it was okay to step towards you or not, but he did anyway.
As much as you wanted to push him away, you didn’t.
“I don’t deserve that title, maybe I did two weeks ago, but not now.”
“As much as this hurts for me to say, despite how much I just want to be with you and forgive you and forget this entire thing ever happened, I honestly don’t know if I can.”
Now it was Jack’s turn for his eyes to begin to water, but he knew the moment that you agreed to talk to him that this would probably be the end result.
“I understand.”
“I wish we could go back in time and change the past, but we can’t. I’m surprised that I’m actually this calm and didn’t know how I was going to react when I saw you. But, Jack, I am not her and I would have never hurt you that way. I know about your trust issues and all I honestly wanted to do is show you that love does exist and that you deserve to have it.”
“And I know that now.”
“We’re probably better off as friends.” You confessed without looking at him and you didn’t know if you were trying to convince him or yourself.
“I… please Y/N, we both know that’s not going to work. I understand why you feel as though you don’t want to give me another chance and I know I damn sure probably don’t deserve it, but if you give me one, I promise that nothing like that will ever happen again. I know this might not seem like the best time to do this, but I was hoping that you would come so I could give this to you...” Jack then pulled a jewelry box from his back pocket and your eyes went wide as he opened it.
“It’s a promise ring and I was going to give it to you before everything happened. It’s only been three months, but the best three months that I could have ever asked for. If you give me another chance, I will spend the rest of our lives making this up to you.”
You were speechless.

Today was Minji's last day in Korea. Jake begged you to go to the airport with them but you really had a lot of work to get done, so you said goodbye to her in your apartment and sent her off with Jake.
On the way to the airport they didn't talk too much but they did have one last conversation before she went into the gate.
"Thank you for everything Jake," Minji started. "Sorry if I made you uncomfortable the other day."
Jake sighed. "Minji.. you're a good friend and I don't want this to ruin our whole group. But please, don't think we can ever be anything more than friends.. we dated for a year in high school and that was that. I love Y/N, a lot."
Minji nodded. "Yeah yeah, it was wrong of me to try and win you back.. I understand that now. Cynthia yelled at me a lot yesterday."
Jake let out a hearty laugh. "Yeah, she's had Y/N's back this whole time.. thanks for being so understanding Minji. Again you're a good friend of mine; let's keep it that way."
"Agreed. You're proposing this December in Australia right?"
"Actually... I'm proposing next week."
Minji's eyes widened with excitement. "What, no way! What happened, why the sudden change?!"
Jake rubbed the back of his neck feeling embarrassed. "I.. haven't been the best to her recently.. actually the night you were at your grandma's.. she wanted us to take a break."
Minji gasped. "Jake.. I'm so sorry."
He shook his head. "It's okay. We talked it through, I begged her not to do this, and she agreed. So I've just been, I don't know, scared? That night really shocked me so much.. I don't think I can wait till December. I'm moving all the plans around to next week."
"Jake that'a awesome! You got the hotel and flight tickets and all?"
"Yeah yeah, everything was booked yesterday."
Just then the last announcement for Minji's flight was made. She gave one last goodbye to Jake and headed to the gate as he made his way back to his car.
Jake had never felt so guilty like he did the past two days. It was eating him up; the fact that he gave another woman more attention than he gave you; the woman that you were uncomfortable with him being around. Every time he thought about it he winced and thanked God that you didn't leave him.
You had forgiven him; Jake loved you and you never once doubted that. But he didn't care– he'd make it up to you in the best way possible.
After leaving the airport he went to the ENHYPEN dorm to tell the news about him moving up his proposal plans and assigning them their roles. He then went to the company to talk to them about his decision. They already knew you Jake was proposing in December and were fine with it, but now Jake had to tell them the slight change in plans so they could have the statement ready by next week.
Once all of that was taken care of Jake headed back to the apartment and started cleaning. It wasn't messy; how could it be? You were so good at taking care of the house, taking care of him, taking care of your relationship when he'd mess it up..
Jake sighed as he walked into the empty house. You were just at work, he knew it of course. But he couldn't imagine how distraught he'd be if every single day he came home to an empty house, knowing you would never return.
Jake started by cleaning up the guest room and guest bathroom Minji had used; putting new sheets, changing the trash, wiping down the furniture. He then went on to clean the rest of the bathrooms in the house, then tidying up the kitchen and master bedroom. Once those were taken care of he took a 10 minute break to order food, and continued on cleaning the dining room and living room.
You were exhausted, having a hard day at work yourself. You trudged up to the front door and fumbled with your keys before the door swung open revealing a very happy yet tired Jake.
"Hi baby, you're home!" he exclaimed.
You giggled and pecked his lips as you walked into the house. "Hi my love, how was your day today?" As soon as you walked further into the house you immediately realized it was sparkling; everything was sparkling. You turned to Jake in shock who was standing there expectantly. "Jake.. did you clean the house while I was gone?"
He eagerly nodded. "Did I do a good job? Actually you can't judge just from seeing this.. I cleaned the guest bedroom, our room, the bathrooms and kitchen too!"
Your eyes were still widened in shock and you slowly wrapped your arms around Jake's neck. "Baby, I appreciate it but why'd you do all of that? I would've come home and done it anyways."
He wrapped his arms around you. "It's not fair that you have to do all of it," Jake pouted. "I live here too, this is my house too. I should take on some of the household responsibilities."
"You do honey! You have your own chores and I have mine."
Jake shook his head. "I just take the trash out and pay the bills once a month Y/N. You clean and cook almost everyday.. I come home every single day and appreciate it but I don't think I say it enough so I'm sorry. I genuinely appreciate everything you do, and after doing what you do for a day, I'm fucking exhausted."
You laughed as you pulled him into a hug. "Aww, thank you Jake. Really, I appreciate this a lot."
"Of course baby.. by the way, is it too late for you to put in some vacation days for next week?"
You raised an eyebrow at him. "What are you plotting now Sim Jaeyun?"
"Nah nah nothing.. I was thinking you and I could spend a couple days in the Maldives?"
"Maldives!? Jake, are you serious!?" you squealed.
Jake smiled, relieved you were this happy. The Maldives was a dream destination for you; you had always talked about going there so why not get proposed to there?
"It's a day long flight," Jake explained. "We need two days for the flights, we'll spend 4 days there. What do you think?"
You squealed again and tightly hugged Jake, jumping into his arms. "Thank you thank you thank you!! You're the best boyfriend ever. When do we leave?"
"Friday."
You were so excited for the trip that Friday felt like it was in forever, but finally you were in the Maldives. The first night you guys slept almost immediately after getting there because you were so drained but the next day you guys were up bright and early, enjoying all that the Maldives have to offer.
Today was the last full day in the Maldives, and the two of you were enjoying some down time in your private hotel room pool. Jake glanced to check on you and saw you at the edge of the pool, furrowing your eyebrows while staring at your phone. He swam up to you and grabbed his beverage. "What's wrong baby?"
"My parents," you responded. "They're not responding! I know I have good service so I don't know why they're not answering."
Despite you not looking at Jake, he still looked away from you. He couldn't lie to you, and he knew that if he mad eye contact with you, he'd spoil everything about the proposal. "M-maybe they're just busy."
You shook your head as you tried dialing them again. "No.. it's like just past evening in my country right now, they're definitely home."
Jake knew he had to distract you before you somehow caught on. He just had to hide all of this from you for another couple hours; as tonight was the proposal.
From the minute he woke up this morning he felt like throwing up. Every single second he felt like regurgitating. You wouldn't say no right? Nah nah, you love him.. right?!
"Baby," he called out as he grabbed your phone gently from you. "It's okay, we'll check on your parents later. Maybe they tuned in early? Our parents aren't getting any younger you know."
You hummed. "Yeah yeah you're right... I'll call them first thing tomorrow morning."
Oh you definitely will.
Jake pulled you back into the middle of the pool and you guys spent more time in the pool until you felt your skin pruning. After you had come out of the shower you saw a couple of wrapped gifts laying on the bed. You looked to your boyfriend with a confused look and he just returned a smug smile.
"Open them," Jake commanded. "It's for our date tonight."
You headed to the bed and one by one opened the boxes. The first one had a beautiful pair of pencil heels covered in golden and silver sparkles. Next was a black leather handbag and the one after it had a diamond crystal heart necklace. The last box you opened had your jaw drop slack open. The dress in the box perfectly matched the shoes; it was pretty short in the front but the tulle in the back went all the way down to the floor and without wearing it, you could tell it would snatch your waist in such an alluring way. It was off the shoulder with a straight neckline and the short bit of sleeves there were drooped down to your elbows.
You caressed the sequins on the dress before turning to your boyfriend and jumping to hug him, not caring you were in just a robe. "Jake, I'm gonna cry! You're the best and this whole look is amazing! Thank you so so SO much!"
He rubbed your back as he held back a huge grin. "Anything for the love of my life." He kissed your forehead before letting you go. "Get dressed, I'm almost ready. We should head to the restaurant in an hour."
Jake had booked a reservation for the two of you at "The Cloud"; an Italian-Chinese sit down restaurant that had numerous 5-star reviews for not only the food but the fancy and romantic ambiance as well.
You two enjoyed your extremely romantic dinner; the food was tremendously good and you two just couldn't stop laughing and looking at each other with the utmost love you could hold in your eyes.
After the dinner Jake suggested a walk on the beach and you happily agreed, not wanting the night to end. You were walking hand in hand, you barefoot with your shoes in Jake's empty hands.
"Jake," you called out breaking the comforting silence.
"Yeah baby?"
You looked to him and kissed his cheek softly. "Thank you.. for everything. The last 4 days have felt so magical I just.. I can't even describe it. I really appreciate everything you've done for me, everything you've made me feel."
Jake's eyes softened as he looked at you, returning the kiss on the cheek. "Again, anything and everything for you baby. I'm just glad we're finally getting quality time alone."
You hummed. "Minji and you are good right? I didn't intend to break up a friendship."
Jake snapped his head towards you and gave you crazed look. "Baby, what are you talking about? You did nothing wrong! If my friendship with Minji would've ended it would've been because of her trying to break us up. You went through so much the last couple weeks and held everything in.. I'm so proud of you but I can't help but feel guilty because of it."
You took your free hand and caressed Jake's forearm with it. "Stop feeling guilty; you've done more than enough to make it up," you giggled.
Jake hesitated a little before biting his lip. "Well, does that mean you don't want the last surprise?"
You groaned. "Jake there's more? You've already done so much what could possibly–"
"Shh," he brought a finger up to your lip. "Let me do the talking right now." You both stopped walking and Jake let go of your hand. He placed your shoes on the sand and stood in front of you. "You trust me right Y/N?"
You vigorously nodded. "Of course Jake! With my whole life."
He gently kissed your lips before reaching into his pocket for a blue velvet box and got down on one knee making you gasp.
"Jake! I–"
"Baby," he whined. "I said let me do the talking." He waited for your nod to continue and did so with a sigh. "Okay look, truth be told I had a completely different speech prepared for this because.. actually I was planning to propose this December when we planned to go to Australia. I had this whole yacht lunch date planned and then an orchestra band and an after party.. but then the last couple weeks happened. And when you suggested we take a break, I.. I felt like my entire world collapsed."
Jake had tears threatening to fall out of his eyes as he looked up at you with so much love. "You are my entire world.. I couldn't ever imagine a life without you, and I don't think I could wait 3-4 more months to propose. This moment right here, this calm after the storm, it feels right. I want nothing more than to be with you forever. I– I can't promise that I'll always be a good husband even though I know you'll always be a good wife, and I'll apologize for that every single day that I'm alive, but I'm always going to do my very best to keep you happy. Nothing matters to me more than your happiness. Let me be the only man to make you happy forever Y/N. Please.. will you marry me?"
You didn't trust your voice as you could feel the sobs closing up your throat so you nodded, extending your left hand for Jake to slip the ring on; it fit perfectly.
He finally let the tears slip and came up from his position to hug you tight and you let him, wrapping your own arms around his form as you two sobbed. Jake kissed your head repeatedly. "Thank you baby, thank you for making me the happiest I've ever been."
You pulled back a little for the hug and kissed some of his tears away before kissing his plump lips. "I– I love you so much Jake I– thank you for everything."
Jake kissed you once again, murmuring an 'I love you too' as you two finished crying. He grabbed your shoes again and put his hand out to grab your now bejeweled one. "Shall we head back to our room, my fiancee?"
You couldn't help but break out into a smile at the new name. "Of course fiance... God I wish my mom was picking up my calls so I could tell her we're engaged..."
Jake laughed. "Your mom won't be picking up any calls for abouttt.. another 45 minutes," he reported checking his wristwatch.
You cocked your head at him. "Why? Is she not home?"
"She's on a plane.. to Korea.. your whole family is.. for the celebration party of our engagement. My parents are there by now too I think; Heeseung Hyung should've picked them up by now."
Your eyes widened. "What? You flew my parents out?!"
Jake eagerly nodded. "Yup! That's why we're heading back to Korea so early tomorrow morning; we have an engagement party tomorrow night with both of our families and closest friends. I got the guys to decorate it. They'll do fine right?"
You shook your head in disbelief at how this man could continuously sweep you off your feet. "Sim Jaeyun the man you are.. how many more times are you gonna woo me in this lifetime hmm?"
"Oh you have no idea baby."

Was This Vacation a Mistake?~Crazy Rich Asians (Astrid x black! fem! reader) ~Part 3
Tumblr media
Parts: 1 2 3 4 5
Summary: After a traumatic night, you decide to stay with Astrid a few nights before you depart back to America. The situation left you angry and terrified, but Astrid proved to be an amazing hostess and a shoulder to cry on.
Word Count:
Warnings: Talk of racism and microaggressions.
Author’s Note: Here’s part 3 guys! As always tell me how this is going so far and what you like about it. Idk if this is good or not but I really want to finish this series soon. Anyway, hope y’all enjoy.
The cup of tea Astrid offered grew cold in my hands as I sat on her fine couch in the living room, my head against Rachel’s shoulder. Astrid strolled back into the room, returning from putting her son Cassain back to bed.
“Do you need anything else, Y/N?” Astrid said as she circled the couch and leaned against its back. “Blanket or something, you and Rachel look like you’re about done for the night.”
She wasn’t wrong, my eyes were heavy and Rachel was quiet for a while. Her phone dinged, awakening her from her semi sleepy state.
“Mmh, N-Nick! He’s outside!” she said, eyes and fingers sweeping her phone simultaneously.
I sat up to the best of my abilities and try not to blink too much with grogginess and stress already pulsing around my temple. Grading papers should have been the move from the beginning; I wasn’t welcome here from the start, people like me weren’t welcome from the start.
“Y/N,” Nick’s caring voice broke me from my thoughts thankfully. He stood in the center of Astrid’s living room with Rachel at his arm, his eyes sparkling  in concern. “First of all, I’m so sorry this happened. Come here.”
Nick pulled me into his arms, nearly making me weep from the contact. His tall frame was soothing, yet I felt terrible because of all that’s happened; this happened because of me. If I stayed home, they wedding would have gone on, Rachel probably wouldn’t have to worry as much as she has to. I wouldn’t be the center in all this, so much pity. It isn’t pity, I should know that, it’s racism. Full blown racism in my face and I can’t fathom it for some reason. I don’t know why. Frustration pooled at me, tears and heat pricked my skin and eyelids.
“Y/N? Are you all right?” Nick asked. He pulled back to pat my elbows.
Rachel sunk to my side, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. “Y/N?”
“I-I’m OK. I-I’m fine, I-I just need a night to, I don’t know, forget all of this,” you said as you leaned into Rachel. “I want to go home though, I’m sorry, guys.”
Nick shook his head. “No, no. In fact, I booked you a ticket home the day after tomorrow. First class of course, my friends stay in style. It’s the least I can do for how uncouth and down right disgusting my family and our associates were. I can even book you the best hotel around here.”
The thought was nice, a little too nice but I had to declined.
“Sorry, Nick, I don’t think that’d be a great idea. Don’t want to seem out of place again.”
“Would a coastal house work? A short heli ride would get you there in--”
“Nick, I don’t think that’ll help,” Rachel said, cutting him off. “Traveling somewhere that isn’t home won’t help, yeah? Y/N?”
I nodded. Nick’s amazing, I love him but throwing money at everything isn’t going to bring me the comfort he thinks it will. It is endearing though.
“She can stay here for tonight, tomorrow as well,” Astrid said, speaking up from her position behind the couch, hand smoothing out the plushness of it. “Anything she needs, I’ll be willing to provide, no issue.”
My heart skipped a beat at the offer; Rachel’s trying not to grin from ear to ear, brought me closer by the shoulder to look at me with those brown eyes. They’re still glossy, all authentic for me I know but know she’s using them to her advantage I swear.
“Astrid sounds like great company, yeah?” she said. Her voice dropped to a whisper. “She’ll look out for you, I promise.”
Nick embraced Astrid prior to turning back to Rachel and I. “Thank you, you don’t know how much this means to me.”
Astrid smiled, it reached her beauty mark, highlighting her face perfectly. How was I going to survive a night in her home? Two nights even. Rachel beamed back as if she heard my mental question, squeezing my shoulders.
“You got this, call us when you feel a little better. OK?”
I nodded. Rachel and Nick gave me quick hugs, doing the same with Astrid before they left, leaving me alone with her. Alone with Astrid Leong. Alone with my thoughts. Alone with all that’s happened.
“Y/N?” Astrid called.
Her voice soft, as it was before yet lower, tender. I didn’t want to look at her, didn’t want her pity. I just want to go home already.
“Y/N?” she called again. I glanced at her, she’s close now, right in front of me; the pity I harped on wasn’t there in her eyes though, hurt and worry, similar to how she seemed at Nick’s grandmother’s house.
“C-Can I hug you?” she asked, opening her arms a bit. Her mouth twitched in a tiny smile while she hesitated with her movements. “Hugs always put me at ease, I-I want to put you at ease.”
The word ease broke me, almost. Tears pricked at my eyes, Astrid found them as she inched closer. She didn’t hug me though, still gauging my reaction. I nodded and met her in a warm embrace; it eased me as she said: her arms wound around me perfectly, fit me well and the tears slipped. A sob broke through too. Why the fuck am I crying? I was supposed to forget about all of that shit.
“It’s all right, darling. Let it out, it’s OK,” Astrid whispered. She pulled back to wipe my tears. She nodded to her couch. “Want to sit?”
I nodded, pursed my lips to keep from tasting the salty tears.
Astrid led me by the hand toward the couch, left some space between us when we got there, still holding onto me. Her touch proved pleasant, more so than it has been before--I was at ease. Her hand wrapped around my own wasn’t a huge deal either. I’m not even sure how long I can last but its working so far.
“T-Thank you, i-it means a lot, letting me stay here,” I managed to say. Astrid’s thumb rubbed my knuckles a little prior to her pulling it away.
“It’s nothing you have to thank me for,” she said. “Do you want to talk about it at all?”
This is a safe space I realize, however I’m not completely sure about opening up about these racially charged encounters. Sure, she’s non-white but like Rachel, sometimes it’s difficult bringing these matters up and talking through them. Sometimes I just need to deal with it on my own, then again, I do need to talk it out--somewhat.
“I-I just expected to tag along with Rachel and for this to be a normal vacation,” I started. “But I got centered, I-I should have known. Anti-blackness is global. I should have thought about it more, researched. I’m a professor for God’s sake, I always tell my students this. Maybe this vacation was a mistake, maybe I should have just stayed home.”
Astrid’s hands flocked to mine again, her eyes glossy once more. “No matter how much research or preparedness you set yourself up for, no one deserves to be harassed or see something like that.”
I nodded. “Yeah, but I don’t think it’s the same. We both experience some fucked shit, I’m sure, you went to schools in England right? Most of those posh white folks, right?”
Astrid giggled at the description. “They were the living embodiment of posh. And you’re right. My experience is not the same but I can tell you about them. Take some of the weight off from today. Will that help?”
“Yeah,” I said.
Maybe I said it too quickly. It was her touches and how intense she looked to me: attentiveness deep in her brown eyes, paying all the mind to me, I had to glance to the spotless carpet below.
“As you know, or maybe you don’t, I’m not sure how much Nick has shared about me, I attended Harvard during university,” Astrid explained. She ceased holding my hands, calming my heart for a bit. “At this time, I was eighteen, away from home with enough money to make my posh peers turn their heads. Unfortunately, my money wasn’t the only thing they noticed.”
Astrid grimaced and I didn’t want her to delve back into anything like that. It’s different yes, but it can still hurt people. Rachel’s told me plenty.
“Astrid, you don’t have to tell me, if it’s too much,” I said. My hand moved on instinct, holding her hand myself. “I-I get it.”
“Darling, it’s fine,” she said. “It’s not the most pleasant story to look back on but it happened. First semester, I was the only Asian girl in my class. There was an Asian boy, but he flocked with the white boys and a grade above me so there wasn’t too much we’d mutually have in common besides our ethnicity. I was Astrid the princess, according to Nick and I wished my white peers saw me as just some spoiled girl. Instead I was Astrid the girl who could grant you a happy ending; Astrid the girl who had to sit up front because her eyes were too slanted. There was worse things but, Y/N, you shouldn’t have to limit yourself because of what history has done. What these systems and institutions have done. Don’t let that stop you.”
She’s right. Astrid’s  absolutely right. The dam broke again at this obvious realization and I’m crying again, trembling and all.
Astrid just pulled me toward her, embracing me yet again. I feel so stupid.
“I’m sorry,” I sobbed against her shoulder. “I-I don’t mean to do this. I hate feeling like this.”
“Don’t apologize, it’s OK.”
We stayed like that for a while: Astrid wrapping her arms around my back, my head against her chest, heartbeat nearly lulling me to sleep. Tiny footsteps neared however, along with a few creaks of the floor and staircase.
“Mommy?”
Astrid tore herself away to face the child standing in a purple satin sleep shirt and matching pants. His hair askew, face clearly scrunched up from sleep. Cassian. Astrid’s son. I pulled myself further from Astrid, wishing I could sink into the couch altogether.
“And what are you doing up, sweetie?” Astrid said, grin plastered on her face, not feeling awkward about her son seeing his mother hug a woman he doesn’t know. “You should be in bed.”
Cassian rubbed his eyes with the back of a fist, attention on me while Astrid lifted him up to her lap, showing the boy off to me.
“Who’s that?” he asked.
Astrid’s eyes shined, love filling them to the brim as she stared at her son, then to me. I still wanted to disappear; Astrid’s got my heart flipping again and skin set to a scorch. Maybe Rachel had a point, definitely not telling her about all the details of tonight.
“This is Y/N, Nick and mommy’s friend and our guest for a few nights,” she cooed, kissing Cassian on the forehead. “How about we go settle in bed and give her some space, hmm?”
I waved at the boy awkwardly. He seemed delicate in Astrid’s arms, fluttering his eyes, squishing and yawning as she stood engulfing the boy in tender love.
“C-Can you read me a story too?” Cassain whined.
“Of course we can, my love,” Astrid said. She was halfway up the stairs; I couldn’t stop looking at her. She turned back toward me, voice dropping a bit.“I’ll bring you some blankets to get comfortable, darling.”
Astrid’s gone before I can react, off to her motherly duties like the day we met. I’ve talked with her, seen her heart, been catered by her heart and I’m still skeptical about the entire thing. A mother, divorcee and a rich person. Rich rich. Loaded and her actions, her demeanor already triggers me, in a great yet intense way. Is she just being nice? Or is Rachel right? Should I talk to Nick about this? Should I not take this venture? Leave it alone before something drastic occurs again, her family is still old money, old traditions, old systems. Maybe I shouldn’t be looking at a potential straight woman like this?
The thoughts continued to linger while I sunk deeper into the couch.
Astrid returned after a while, a set of fancy comforters and covers hulking her arms. “I wish I would have prepared the guest room better but the couch is just as comfortable. Make yourself at home, stretch as much as you’d like, all right?”
I nodded, laid across the couch and reached up for the covers. Astrid pouted and shook her head.
“No, no. Let me, I am your hostess after all,” she said as she fluffed up the covers. “I need everyone under my roof safe, sound and more importantly, tucked in.”
My face and heart raced among-est each other each time Astrid placed a layer on me, tucked a cover against my arm and back, patted in place. She’s so close, there’s no way she’s just being nice.
“Y/N? Are you all right? This didn’t make you uncomfortable, did it?”
I shook my head fervently. “No, this is so much more than I can ask for Thank you.”
Astrid’s eyes softened. “Not a problem, darling. I hope your dreams are sweet and more pleasant than today.”
Those words tingled me to my bones, warmed me more than the massive quilt bulking me and allowed sleep to overtake me.

Tumblr media
as much as you loved shoko and utahime, you really didn’t want to go to their wedding. however, by the time you wanted to pull out it was too late. the plane tickets and hotels were already booked along with the deposit which was non refundable.
so you’re now standing on the white sands, in a cute purple dress that complemented your brown skin perfectly, watching shoko finally say ‘i do’ to utahime which then was followed by the newlyweds sharing a kiss with eachother. the ceremony was beautiful and you definitely teared up a couple of times but you couldn’t help it, you were a romantic at heart.
after the ceremony ended and dozens of pictures were taken, you managed to give a quick congratulations to the newlyweds before they were swarmed by eager family and friends. you sat to the side, taking everything in from the decor to the overall atmosphere.
your moment of silence was interrupted by nanami as he sat down next to you. “not in the wedding mood?” he said looking back at the main commotion before looking back at you. “lets toast to the newlywed couple.” he said, handing you a flute of champagne. you both toasted to the newlyweds before taking several sips, feeling the bubbles of champagne hit the back of your throat.
nanami engaged in light conversation with you, catching up on what has happened in the past year. you learned that nanami had ‘retired’ at the age of 28 moving to malaysia with his husband where now he spent most of his days reading by the beach.
you were initially surprised but you could see he looked more healthier, more alive. the eye bags and sullen skin was no more and he even drank less than he usually did. (you made a mental note to book a holiday after this). eventually nanami got up and left apologising as he had to take an important call, leaving you alone with the sounds of the waves crashing to keep you company.
a raucous sound of laughter caught your attention— it was him. he looked so animated, so lively, as he looked to be telling a story to a crowd of people. he seemed to have that charming aura that just naturally drew people in. he looked healthy. there were no signs of fragility but then again that’s how he was.
gojo was a brilliant actor and that was what led to the downfall of your relationship. you hated him, you hated how quickly he moved on, did he even care at all? you turned away from him focusing on the pink-orange hues of the sky, trying to suppress those pent up emotions that you’ve buried for the past year as you didn’t want to make a scene.
his eyes were burning a hole in your back. you tried to shake it off playing with your braid in order to distract you from his gaze. you didn’t even need to turn around to figure out who it was— your ex boyfriend gojo satoru.
you guys broke up last year and since then you’ve managed to skilfully avoid him. often turning down shoko’s and utahime’s invites to dinner, lunch and nights out using your work as an excuse. excuses that you could not use now. you knew that he would be attending the wedding he was shoko’s best friend and best man. you just didn’t expect to see him so soon.
“y/n.” he said, his voice sounding a bit softer than intended as he moved closer to you. you turned around unable to mask the shock on your face. “hey.” you said, trying to look at anything but his bright blue eyes, that were once your kryptonite.
“uh, can we talk?” he asked, playing with a loose string on his blazer, a nervous tic of his that you knew all too well. you debated on being cold but it was evident that he was going through it as much as you were. “sure, lead the way.” you said, trying to remain indifferent as you spoke.
he took you to the beach, placing his blazer down so you wouldn’t get sand on your dress. you both sat in silence before he spoke, “funny, i thought that it would be us walking down the aisle before shoko.” you snorted before replying, “i don’t think so but yeah, it would’ve been nice.” you said, trying to hide your sniffles. that was why you were so apprehensive on coming to shoko’s wedding, not because of the possibility of running into your ex but because it reminded you of what could’ve been—a future now lost to possibilities.
“what went wrong?” he asked quietly cocking his head towards you. “us.” you replied before clarifying, “you weren’t there emotionally and i wanted the idealised version of you, not knowing that you were much more of a mess than i was.” you laughed, wiping a stray tear from your face. “we should’ve taken nanami’s advice and went to couples therapy. imagine the arguments that could’ve been prevented.”
he nodded in response. “im sorry y/n, for everything. you deserved better than me, you deserved more than what i could give you.” his voice wavered at the last sentence as he tried to fight back tears—which was a rare occurrence for gojo.
seeing gojo this raw and vulnerable was something you wasn’t used to at all but you were silently thankful for it. for the trust he placed in you to allow you to see him in such a vulnerable state. once the tears started flowing they wouldn’t stop, it was cathartic— the stress, emotions, feelings that built up over the past year, slowly ebbing away with each tear. the cries were silent apologies to each other, tears shedding for what couldn’t be said.
“i‘m sorry too.” you said in a low tone, your voice scratchy and raw from crying. he nodded, not wanting his voice to betray him. the two of you sat like that for a while, enjoying the silence. it was weird that your heart felt more at peace with him here, than when you were apart. on instinct you leaned onto his shoulder, you felt gojo tense a little but he slowly leaned into your touch.
“i think i should get going.” you stood up abruptly , wiping away any signs of tears from your face. “me too.” gojo nodded, getting up and wiping sand off of his tuxedo. you said your goodbyes and went off in your separate directions, before gojo called out to you.
“do you think we’d be together in another life?” he asked, standing with his hands in his pockets.
“I’d like to think so, yeah.” you replied a bit softer staring into the vast night sky. not that it was obvious but his cheeks flushed at that revelation.
“alright, goodnight y/n.”
“goodnight.” you whispered, watching his form retreat into the darkness.

I Have Been Playing With A Superstar Chapter 4
Tumblr media
Putting the key card into the lock and taking it out and opening the door when the green light came on Felix walked into the hotel room he was sharing with the others. Minho was in the kitchen making dinner with Jeongin helping. Seungmin, Han, Hyunjin and Changbin were on the couch playing Mairo party. And Chris was walking towards him with not the happiest expression on his face.
“You're late and none of us had heard from you for hours Felix” Chris said as he looked him over making sure he wasn’t hurt. “I’m sorry Chris she was great and i was having such a great time, both of us just lost track of time, she got yelled at by her friend too. Mini was threatening to come hunt me down cause she thought i had kidnapped her” Felix explained. “So she is as cool as she seems?” asked Changbin from the couch, having paused his turn to listen to Felix about what happened.
Looking around Felix could see that they had all stopped to hear what Felix had to say about his time meeting his online friend. “Yeah she really is and you guys will all get to meet her after sound check cause i got her and her friend tickets to both shows and i may or may not have gotten them backstage passes”  Felix explained as he moved to a chair in the living room by the couch. “FELIX YOU DID WHAT!?” Minho called over from the kitchen “Felix what if she’s not what she portrays herself as, you could get really hurt” Hyunjin tells him worriedly. Jeongin and Seungmin just look at him worried and Changbin looks at Chris with a questioning look, probably silently asking if he knew about this.
Han was just watching everything unfold, knowing now was not the time to stir things up with how he thought that was a really nice thing for Felix to do and he was excited to meet Felix’s online friend, since he always seemed to find Felix when he was talking to them and had heard the most about them from Felix.
Chris let out a long sigh running a hand down his face before looking at Felix “I'm assuming you gave them these already so no matter what we say it’s already set in stone” he said factually. Felix just nodded “then you and I have to tell the manager and get a NDA ready for them to sign before they can meet all of us” Chris stated leaving no room to argue. “Felix, you should have talked to me about this first so we could be prepared for this. And not having to run around last minute trying to get these things we will need now” Chris told him.
Felix nodded and looked to the side “i just want her in my life she’s like another sister to me Chris i didn’t want to have to fight with you or anyone else about it. Especially now that i’ve met her and I can say she is exactly who she says she is and wouldn’t hurt me, she was so surprised i told her Mini could meet us, she was ready to keep this a secret from her if i hadn’t said anything about it. I completely trust her Chris” Felix ranted how he was feeling. “You met her once and you completely trust her? Felix you might not be using the best judgement here” Minho exasperated. “What’s done is done Minho we will just have to see for ourselves when we get there” Chris said as he stood up and started to walk to the bedrooms. Minho and Jeongin went back to the kitchen to finish dinner and the others all continued to sit in silence trying to figure out if they should disturb it.
“I'm really happy for you Felix, she seems like a really nice person and I'm glad you finally got to meet her and I'm super excited to meet her too” Han told Felix. Felix just smiled at him with a small nod knowing Han has been wanting to meet you the most out of the others, practically begging Felix to make a small group chat of just the 3 of you so he could get to know you too. “I have to admit I'm cautious of them still but I'm also excited for you Felix and about meeting them too” Changbin added. Hyunjin just nodded after Changbin, Felix knowing he was saying me too. Felix gave them both a nod back “thanks guys”. Seungmin just got up and gave Felix a hug “always here for you” he whispered, Felix hugged back and the four returned to playing their game with Felix now Seungmin’s chair.
The next morning as they got to the stadium Chan pulled Felix to the side. “I already told the manager. After sound check he will go looking for them and bring them to the back to sign the NDA, then find a room where we can all meet okay” he told him. Felix smiled and nodded “thank you Chris” Felix hugged him, Chris smiled and hugged him back “your welcome Lix”. Both then go to the dressing room for final costume check and Felix sent a message to Y/N to let her know of the NDA the two will have to sign before they get to meet up again. Y/N said she and Mini understood and were happy to sign the paperwork as they didn’t want to get the boys in trouble. Felix was smiling and very giddy and the others could see it and were happy but some were still worried as they didn’t want to see him get hurt if anything went wrong.
Felix was getting his makeup done so he didn’t notice how Han had taken his phone and had made a group chat of the three like he had wanted. Messaging her as he now sat on the couch waiting for the others to be done. After Felix was done he went to pick up his phone but it was not where he had left it. Getting up and looking for it he found it in infront of Han on the little coffee table. When he picked up his phone he had tons of notifications of texts between Y/N and Han in a group chat he had made apparently. Felix looked up at Han to see him already looking at him “you were talking too long so i just did it myself and you can’t be mad cause she’s gonna meet us tonight right” Han explained his thought process. Felix just shook his head and apologised and explained to Y/N for what Han had done.
Not long after Felix had explained and Han complained that Felix was rude to not share your time, their manager told them it was time for the sound check performance. The boys went out on stage and Felix was taking any paused time to look for Y/N in the small crowd of people that were there. But all the bright lights and his running and spinning left him unable to find her. Being tapped by the others to focus on the practice and not getting distracted throughout the practice Felix knew he was gonna get a talking to from them later when it’s just them.
As they said goodbye for now and that they would see Stay later tonight the boy’s went backstage. Minho turned to Felix and crossed his arms over his chest “what was that Felix?” “sorry i promise it won’t happen during the show tonight” Felix jumped right into where he knew the conversation was going. “You were looking for them right Y/N and her friend?” Hyunjin asked, Felix just nodded “he’s just excited guys leave him be” Han jumped to Felix’s defence. Chris just shook his head and started to lead them to the green room to eat and prepare for the show. When the boys had all changed and wiped all the sweat off, their manager walked in “the girls have signed the papers and if you're ready i’ll bring them in” he said. Chris looked to each member and as they each gave him their own show of readiness Chris looked to their manager “we’re ready” he said. Han started to jump up and down in excitement and Felix joined him, Minho was standing the furthest aways in a spot where he could watch the whole room at once, Hyunjin sat on the couch with Changbin, Seungmin and Jeongin and Chris stood by the couch looking to the door. Felix stopped jumping and walked to the door Han right behind him and smiled wide as the door opened.

As he was thinking about calling it a night, Rosa walked into the living room.  “Hey, I thought you went to bed about an hour ago.”
“Not really tired,” Rosa sat down next to him on the couch.  “Kensi went to bed early and I thought it was a good idea.”
“Until you weren’t that tired.”
“Until I wasn’t that tired.  What are you doing?”
“Reviewing material for the Continuing Legal Education class I’m taking at USC Saturday.  I have to take it by the end of the year or I’ll have issues with the Bar.”
“But you finished law school.”
“A lifetime ago.  But laws change all the time so the Bar makes lawyers take classes every year.  Did the winter class, I missed the spring class, we were on vacation during the summer class so I’m signed up for the last class of the year Saturday.”
“Is it fun?”
Lifting an eyebrow, he told her, “Eight hours in a classroom with 45 other attorneys.  It’s the lawyers version of a Taylor Swift concert.”
Rosa laughed.  “Can I ask you something?”
“Of course.”
“Why did Kensi seem unhappy at dinner?  Was it the gift?”
Deeks sighed.  Julia’s early Christmas gift was a Sunday dinner surprise.  It was generous, wonderful and exactly not what Kensi wanted.  “Julia loves Kensi, she loves you, she surprisingly loves my Mom – didn’t see that one coming.”
“She also loves you,” Rosa assured Deeks.
“Yes, I’ve made it into the Julia Feldman circle of trust.”
“But…”
“But…Kensi and I were talking about going to Las Vegas with you during your holiday break, getting the Adele tickets and starting the New Year off right.  Julia must have heard about you wanting to go from a little birdie or a regular-sized Bertie and suddenly we’re booked into adjoining suites to Julia and my Mom with New Year’s Eve tickets to see Adele.”  Deeks already saw how much three Adele tickets were going to cost the night before New Year’s Eve – more than the cost of his first two cars – he could only imagine what Julia paid for five New Year’s Eve tickets.  And that doesn’t even include the hotel rooms.
“You don’t want to go?”
“I want to go.  I want to go with you, with Kensi, with Julia and God help me, with my Mom.  I want to do Christmas and New Year’s and every other holiday with the four best women in my life because the four of you are the family I always wanted, the family Kensi always wanted.”  And that Kensi deserved.
“But…”
“Between you and me – don’t tell Kensi, Julia and my Mom, promise.”
“Promise.”
“Julia should have checked with Kensi.  We wouldn’t have said no,” Deeks assured Rosa, though there would have been some negotiations about who was paying for what and the size of the hotel rooms.
“The best Christmas gifts are supposed to be surprises.”
“They’re usually surprises like a bike or a new phone.  Kensi just wants her Mom to understand that we want everything good for you.  Kensi and I just want to know it’s coming.  And yes, we’re still going.  And we want to go.  And we’re going to have a great time.”
“Kensi told me that she and her Mom didn’t talk for a long time.”
“True.  Kensi’s parents split up and Kensi stayed with her Dad and then with an aunt.”  Deeks would let Kensi tell her full story.  “But they’ve been talking for a long time and really love each other.”
“She’s very nice.”
“She is.  And she is thrilled you’re part of our family.”
“I’m excited about everything that’s coming up.”
“We all are.  But none of that fun starts until you finish your classes and I sit with a bunch of lawyers learning about the changes in California’s criminal code,” Deeks stifled a yawn.  “I think we probably should call it a night.”
Standing, Rosa asked “Can I go with you to USC Saturday?  Take a look at the campus.”
“Of course.  We can drive out and you can get an Uber home.  Are you interested in USC?”
“Some of my friend are talking about colleges.  I want to see what USC looks like.”
“Sounds like a plan,” he gave her a kiss on the forehead as she walked to her room.
Good lord, Deeks thought as he started turning off the living room lights, they were going to be on the college tour really soon.

“Hello , Hyunjin, I reached at the hotel”, Nishi replied. She had to abruptly take a flight and reach in a different country altogether. Because her dear boyfriend suddenly sent her the ticket without any explanation.
“Hello baby, I hope you reached without any issues. Get some rest and we will celebrate in the evening”, he said. “But Hyunjin, you should tell me what are the plans?”, Nishi was getting anxious. She had no idea what are the plans. “Don’t you trust me?”, he replied.
“Of course I do, but still – “, she was cut off mid sentence. “No buts, I will send someone to pick you up all you have to do is rest now and enjoy later, bye love, I gotta go”, he said and cut the call.
Nishi was already feeling jet lagged she didn’t even realize how fast she fell asleep. When she woke up it was already dark. “Oh shoot, now I have to get ready in a hurry. Why do I always do this?” she scolded herself and then started getting ready in a panic state.
Earlier, this week she went shopping with one of her university friend and got herself a black dress with cherry prints and a black sandal. She did very minimal make up and took her black bag. Hyunjin had texted her that the driver is already in the lobby of the hotel to pick her up. She rushed down and to her surprise the driver was still there. She got in the car immediately without any delay.
It took them 30 minutes to reach the place which looked like a stadium and then she realized he had brought her to his concert. She smiled to herself and then the driver handed her the ticket. She was then guided by a staff to the very front of the stage.  And then the performances began. It was the first time she was seeing him from this close performing on a stage. He looked absolutely stunning and perfect. The way he often came close winked and smiled at her gave her those butterflies again and again. She still couldn’t believe herself that the man in front of her performing so aggressively is her boyfriend who sulks on tiny matters, cuddles her everyday and act as a baby. It was her happiest birthday.
Once the performances ended a staff member came and guided her inside to the backstage. Where everyone was already present and Hyunjin was holding a dark chocolate cake. And the moment she entered everyone started singing happy birthday. Hyunjin came closer to her, “Now close your eyes and make a wish”. She did exactly that and blew the candles. She cut the cake to everyone over there.
Then they all came back to the hotel. Everyone went their own ways wishing her happy birthday again. She and Hyunjin came to their room and when she entered the room was already decorated with golden and black balloons and there were fairy lights and a big happy birthday banner. In the corner there were candles lit and their food along with some champagne.  Hyunjin hugged her from the behind and whispered, “Happy Birthday Love, I know I couldn’t do much because of my busy schedule but I hope you liked this”.
She turned around to face him. His hairs were falling on his face and he was looking ethereal as ever. He was still holding her from her waist, “This much is more than enough baby, I couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate”.  And then she felt his warm lips on hers. The kiss wasn’t only electrifying but comforting and sweet. The kiss continued until they both ran out of breath. “You should eat first, you must be hungry”, Nishi said.  He smiled and nodded. He kissed her forehead and said, “You are the best thing happened to me Nishi. I hope I get to spend all my coming years with you”.  He bent down a little and cupped her face and continued, “I promise Nishi I will always try to make every moment of our magical and will protect you from every evil possible”.
Nishi smiled and hugged him tightly and said, “I know Hyunjin and I will forever be in awe that I am with the most perfect boyfriend anyone could ever ask for”. She pulled out a little, “Now enough with this let’s go and eat before the food turns cold”.
Author's Note: HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY @nihyunluvskookie 🫂 this post is solely for you. I hope you like it. Also i wish you good health and tons of happiness for today and the coming days, months and years. Enjoy a lot and have fun.💗

Come and see what I've got cooking!!! @mrwrestlingkevinsteen - Hope this is in the general direction of what you were looking for!
Steenerico Disney World Fanfiction under cut.
Just getting into the park had been a challenge.
First, Kevin had ended up paying for the tickets anyway. As it turned out, the few pesos that Generico had to his name wouldn’t pay for a bag of popcorn on Main Street let alone the park tickets. But by that point, they’d already spent thirty minutes in a line to buy them and the utterly crushed look on Generico’s face when presented with the possibility of not getting in had opened Kevin’s wallet far faster than he’d ever willingly admit.
He’d certainly never tell anyone that he bought park hopper passes so that they could also visit Epcot. To be fair, though, those were for Kevin as well. He wasn’t about to miss Animal Kingdom for the world.
Maybe that was why he sprung for three days’ worth of tickets. There was just too much to see at the parks for one day, especially with him having to lug an overeager masked luchador around the whole time.
And therein lay the other problem.
The mask.
Kevin would never dream of making his partner remove it. People could call him a shitty friend all they liked and, honestly, Kevin knew they probably had a point. But he wasn’t that much of an asshole.
So when the people at the front gate told him that Generico couldn’t enter with it on...
There had been shouting. And tears. And more shouting.
Most of the shouting was done by him, at miserable, plastic-grinned jackasses who couldn’t comprehend what the hell they were asking and whose necks he really wanted to wring in the damn turnstile.
In the end, he’d managed to convince them. Eventually calming down long enough to find his inside voice and, through a sheer act of God, keeping himself from using the foulest language he had at his disposal, Kevin explained to them that the mask was for religious and cultural reasons and that he could never remove it, not even to enter the Happiest Place on Earth.
Also, the phrase “Special Needs” might have left his lips, something that may or may not have been brought on by the fact that Kevin was doing everything in his power to keep Generico from having a meltdown at the front gates.
Whatever it was that did the trick, he was just glad it did because they were permitted entry into Magic Kingdom, with a note given to Kevin to take to Guest Relations for an exemption on Generico’s mask.
They no sooner got into the transportation center and to the top of the ramp for the Monorail when he was grateful he hadn’t broken skulls.
The Monorail, all sleek and striped, brought a gleeful smile to Generico’s face that made Kevin shake his head. Motioning at the train, Generico was already overjoyed and they hadn’t even gotten into the park yet. It was another thing Kevin would never admit to – how much seeing Generico smile made him happy. The idiot was a walking, too pale, too skinny stack of unnecessary emotions on his best days but when he was at his happiest, Kevin couldn’t help but be warmed by Generico’s radiance, that stupid too-broad smile of his fluttering Kevin’s heart whenever he got to see it.
And Kevin could already tell he was going to see it a lot before they left Orlando.
Still, the last thing he needed was for Generico to lose control on the fucking Monorail.
“Calm down buddy,” Kevin said as they got into the car, “We haven’t even hit Main Street yet. This is just the transportation.”
Generico didn’t stop grinning.
“I mean it!” Kevin warned him, “Save some excitement for later. I’m not carrying you back to the hotel at noon because you burn yourself out halfway to It’s A Small World”
The luchador nodded vigorously. “Sí. Calm. Sí.”
He proceeded to be only slightly calmer in the moment that followed but, frankly, Kevin was ready to take whatever he could get.
At least he kept quiet on the trip around the bay. They’d no sooner started moving then Generico was turned around, his eyes on the scenery. Kevin had to admit, the ride was nice enough, and the trip through the Contemporary was always fun. He’d always found it neat how they built the hotel around the Monorail and while he’d been to Disney World before, pulling straight into the center of the building on a TRAIN was still pretty cool.
Of course, once they got into the park itself, all bets were off.
“KEVIN!” Generico shouted, rushing up to a statue of Walt and Mickey. “Picture!”
He had to laugh.
“Sure,” he said, pulling out his camera.
He no sooner had the camera in his hand when a third problem struck him.
The pictures.  They were there by themselves. Naturally nobody had wanted to come with them... which meant that any photos they took wouldn’t be together.
“Shit,” he whispered softly. Speaking up, he told Generico sadly, “Sorry, pal, I can’t get shots of us both. It’s just gonna have to be you.”
“Kevin...” Generico lamented, his lip already halfway to quivering.
It was going to be one of those trips.
“Look, Generico, I don’t know how you want me to...”
“I can help you with that!” a voice to his side chirped up.
It was another one of the workers. “Cast Members” they called them. This one had a slightly more genuine smile on her face, a nametag reading “Stacie”, and was carrying an oversized camera.
“I can get your picture,” she told Kevin, the smile fading.
“Ok, and how much would that cost?”
“If you buy a photo package, you can get as many photos as you want together.”
It didn’t answer the question.
It didn’t answer the question but, as Kevin glanced at his partner and his utterly raptured face as he took in everything around him, he realized that saying no to Generico for the entirety of the trip was going to be next to impossible.
He let out a sigh and wrinkled his face. “Right. Where do I sign up?”
“How many days are you staying with us?”
“Three.”
“Are you staying on property?”
“No.”
“Guest relations will get you everything you need. And then you can come right back and I’ll take a photo of you and your friend.”
Kevin stole another glance towards Generico... except he was missing.
Shit.
That time he thought it silently.
“I’ll be back,” he told the woman and, scanning the area, went off to find his partner.
It really was going to be one of those trips.
…........................................
When he found Generico, it was in the Main Street USA Firehouse, getting angry with a pressed penny machine.
“Hey! Knock it off! It doesn’t take pesos!” Kevin shouted, grabbing Generico’s wrists and stopping his attempts to shake the machine. “Quarters. You need quarters. And a penny. Here...”
Kevin pulled the travel pack off his back and, digging out two quarters and an old penny, dropped them in the slot.
“Pick one,” he told his friend. It took the luchador a moment but he settled on one of a dalmatian in a fireman’s hat. “Ok, now, watch,” Kevin told him and, in one quick motion, shoved the slot into the machine.
Generico watched eagerly as the gears of the machine turned and, before the penny had even hit the slot, his fingers were in it, waiting. And, no sooner did he have the penny in his fingers, then the penny was on the ground, dropped.
“Caliente!” Generico shouted before bending over to pick up the offending coin. Once he had it again, he held it between his fingers, turning it in the light.
It... wasn’t pretty.   The penny was old; the various marks and flaws had transferred onto the design, and as Kevin saw the disappointment in Generico’s eyes, he let out a long sigh.
“Yeah, you’re right. Let’s get you another one.”
Digging into his pack again, he managed to find another pair of quarters and a bright, shining penny this time. Putting them into the slot, the same as last time, he pushed the tray in. This time, Generico hit the button for a design of Mickey as a fireman and, when Generico tried a second time to shove his hand up the slot, Kevin grabbed it.
“Wait,” he commanded.
It only took a few moments but when the penny came out, it was much nicer, the copper shining in the sunlight.
“Ooooh,” Generico marveled.
“Great. Now, we’re going to Guest Relations.”
Generico’s head tilted to the side.
“The mask! And your photos, did you already forget?”
Dark eyes widened in understanding behind the mask and his head nodded.
“God, you have a ten second memory,” complained Kevin. “Let’s go. I’m not getting kicked out of here before we ride Space Mountain.”
A sharp, sudden look of confusion sprung from behind Generico’s mask, followed by him frantically waving his hands ‘No’.
“What? No, screw you, we’re riding Space Mountain.”
Generico’s hands continued waving before they traveled south, covering himself.
“Damn it,” Kevin swore, “What are you...” Suddenly, realization took hold and Kevin rolled his eyes so hard he almost sprained them. “Not that Space Mountain, dumbass! The one in Tomorrowland!”
He no sooner got the statement out then he saw a mother nearby put her hands over her small child’s ears, leading her away.
Kevin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.  He was going to have to be more careful about that.
“Look, let’s just get to Guest Relations before we get ejected, ok? I paid far too much money to get us in here, so behave and I’ll let you ride the teacups on your own.”
Generico broke out into a toothy grin of agreement and, moving behind the luchador, Kevin pushed him in the direction they needed to travel.
“Go,” he demanded, “You’re leading. I’m not letting you out of my sight again.”
…........................................
As it turned out, Generico did behave at Guest Relations and Kevin was able to get the exemption for Generico and his photo pass. He slipped both into his travel pack and, after stopping to get a photo in front of the statue, took Generico to Fantasyland to ride the teacups.
Of course, Generico being Generico, he diverted three times along the way. Once to try and get ice cream (Kevin refused), once for popcorn (Kevin told him maybe later), and once for a Mickey Mouse balloon (Kevin promised Generico he could have one on their way out).
By the time they actually got through the castle and into Fantasyland, they had already been there an hour and a half, and Kevin’s knee was beginning to bug him.
“Right,” he told his partner, putting him in the queue, “You can ride, and I’ll be over there on the bench.” Kevin motioned towards a bench nearby.
“Sí,” Came the quick reply before the line started to move and Generico’s attention was instantly elsewhere.
“And don’t spin too hard!” Kevin warned.
If Generico heard, he didn’t answer.
…........................................
Of course Generico had spun as fast as the ride allowed him.
“What did I tell you,” Kevin lectured, sitting on the bench beside a woozy Generico. Generico had his head down, resting in his hands and was making quiet moaning noises.
“Seriously, do you ever listen to me?” he continued. “Ever? I swear to God...”
Kevin’s anger was cut short by a wibbly look from his partner.
Deep, cleansing breaths, Steen, Kevin thought silently.
Taking a moment for one of those breaths, Kevin patted Generico gently on the shoulder.
“Wait here,” he said sharply, “I mean it.”
Quickly, Kevin got up and, heading over to a nearby quick service counter, got a cup of water from the attendant.
Finally, something I don’t have to pay for, he thought, more than a little bitterly.
He hadn’t intended on spending a ton of money on the trip. Honestly, he hadn’t intended on even paying for the tickets. He’d been saving money for a year at that point for some new electronics and had accumulated more than enough before they got to Orlando. He’d wanted an iPhone since they were released and, between that and the new laptop he’d been eyeing, he was all ready to do some tech shopping as an early birthday present to himself.
That was the day before.
But there, in the middle of the Magic Friggin Kingdom, he’d already dumped money for six park tickets, a photo pass, and two pressed pennies. It was far more than he’d intended or wanted but, as he brought the cup of water back to his friend and saw the relief in his eyes, Kevin knew the trip was only getting started.
He sat down again beside Generico and handed him the water.
“Are you gonna be sick?”
Generico gently shook his head.
“Good. Did you learn your lesson?” he asked.
Generico nodded. “Sí”
“Even better. Have some water.”
The luchador did so, a bit too eagerly.
“Slowly!” Kevin warned him.
Generico didn’t slow down much.  Another one of those deep, cleansing breaths.
Mercifully, as Generico drank the water, he seemed to be doing better. His back straightened and he wasn’t looking quite so pale around the eyes.
Kevin sighed and placed his hand on his partner’s back, gently rubbing circles between his shoulder blades. It bothered him how much it bothered him. He cared about Generico, sure, but one of the earliest things Kevin Steen had learned in his life was that you took care of yourself first and that those that fell behind, got left behind. But Kevin also knew that, if it wasn’t for one infuriating, generic luchador, he’d probably have gotten lost in his own darkness ages ago.
So, caring for Generico was going to come first.
Generico was still sipping on his water as Kevin rubbed his back.
“You know I’m your friend, right?”
Generico took another drink of water. “Sí. Kevin amigo. Amigo numero uno.”
“And you know I don’t want to see you sick?”
“Te importa mucho.”
“Yeah, I do care. And I don’t want you to be miserable on your vacation, so if you – "
Generico cut him off. “Ours!”
Kevin stopped. “What?”
“Ours!” he repeated sharply before, using his free hand, he motioned to Kevin and back at himself. “Kevin y Generico, Disney World! Amigos!”
Oh.
Kevin smiled. “Right, buddy. Our vacation. Together. So let’s try to make it a good one, maybe? No more running off, and no more dumb shi---” Kevin stopped himself, eyeing the myriad of children around them. “No more dumb stuff,” he finished. “We stay together and we’ll have fun. Comprendo?”
Generico made several gruff hums of affirmation as he nodded vigorously.
“Good, now, finish your water and we’ll go ride ‘It’s A Small World’.”
In what was the latest of such, Generico broke out into a wide grin and, quickly finishing his cup of water, got up and tossed it in a nearby trash can. The spring in his step as he did so, however, was impossible to ignore and, as he stepped back in front of Kevin, he held out his hand.
Kevin paused for a moment to look up at his friend. His eyes were dark but shining and the joy in them was unmistakable. Beyond that, the fondness there, beyond their norm, both grateful and kind, and Kevin could hear the words hidden in their gaze.
Thank you, Kevin, they said. Thank you for being such a good friend.
At least, that’s what Kevin hoped that particular look meant.
Kevin smiled in return and, taking Generico’s hand, got to his feet.
“Come on,” he said warmly, putting his arm around the luchador, “there’s a boat ride waiting for you.”

When I see you again.
It was Friday, one week later. We reached the airport of Monaco which was already a hard thing bug as soon as we smelled the sun and the air of Monaco I felt better. “God…it’s sooo hot” Olga said and sighed. “Yeah…I love it” i said taking a deep breath with closed eyes before we searched for a taxi. We reached our hotel and what can I say…it was right in the middle of the city, if we wouldn’t have tickets we could watch the race probably from our balcony because it was pretty close. The hotel was really interesting, not really my type but it was perfect for two nights. Olga and I got into the first bedroom and Maureen and Annabelle took the second one. I wasn’t really in for unpacking so I just unzipped the suitcase and got the bags with the hygiene products to bring them into the bathroom we four share. “Well…probably not the best choice” Annabelle said a little embarrassed. “Oh come on, Belle…I already love it here, we all do and I think most of the time we’ll be outside and for those two nights it will do things” i said smiling at her. “I’m so excited” she said as she started to over-line her lips. “Me too…I can’t believe it…we’re in Monaco…watching a race…agh” i said excited giving her a wink at my little pauses. “I can’t wait” she said and I chuckled. “So…you got any plans on what we could do tonight?” i asked her smiling as I brushed through my straightened hair. “Totally” she said smirking. “Let me hear them” i said turning to her. “I found a really beautiful restaurant, we could go around and visit the city a little, doing some shopping, then go to this restaurant and whatever” she said smirking with a nod. “Lit, I like it” i said smirking at her. “Good we got some plans” she said and we struck. “Tell this to the girls…my mom’s calling” i said getting out my phone while she nodded.
We walked through the city and were at the best places and did a lot of sightseeing, thanks to tiktok cause it helped us a lot. Especially right now I was thinking about marrying a rich old man just to cheat him out for his money, we walked down the streets looking at those luxurious fashion stores just like Dior, Chanel, Luis Vuitton, etc which made my jaw drop. “This is insane” i said shaking my head. “Yeah right” Olga whispered, my jaw was still dropped. “Sign the contract and this life is gonna wave at you” she said winking at me. “Funny, Ola, Funny…” i said sarcastically. “Just saying“ she said smirking so I playfully punched her arm which made her laugh. It wasn’t only the luxury or the money or the places or the atmosphere/vibes…it also were the people, they smiled a lot here and it was definitely different to Berlin or Munich. I wasn’t used to this and I needed my time to process it but I liked it. “I might have a shock” i said looking at the women here in Monaco. “You just need a shot” Annabella said chuckling. “Me too…I’ll get thirsty by seeing this” Olga said and we all laughed while walking around trying to see as much as possible which was kinda hard because me and Maureen got literally distracted by anything.
“Now I’m in for the shot to be honest” i said smirking as we sat down on the chairs on the front terrace of the restaurant. The restaurant itself looked like a typical restaurant out of a french movie. “Yeah…me too” Maureen said. “Shots? I’m down” Olga said and Annabelle got us 4 shots.
My eyes were everywhere and I enjoyed the breeze of Monaco, the air and the sun. It was something else and NO comparison to Germany, even the wine tasted better, the food was better, the people were nicer and the weather was better no matter how hot it is and it was even better with my best friends. Maureen was -same as Olga and Annabelle- my best friend since Kindergarten and is same as me half-french, Maureen Grace Lilac-Lane, her beautiful dirty blinde hair went to her chest and shined in the sun even tho she straightened it yesterday. Annabelle Amelia Moreau, she was like a twin of Maureen and a combination of party-girl but also it-girl. Olga Novak, my dearly trusted sister by heart, from the moment she moved from Poland to Munich I knew her and me belong together and like that it was. “Even the wine is better” i said after taking a sip of the wine. “That mist be the water…the Monaco air and all that” Annabelle said and I chuckled. “So how are we doing this tomorrow?” i asked while leaning back in the chair. “Yeah…well the race is starting at 3 p.m so we have the whole morning and noon to ourselves but the catch is that we need to be there at 1 p.m because of the V.I.P tickets, we get to see the paddock, the cars, the pit, everything” Annabelle said super excited. “Wow…I’ve heard the cars are super hot” Maureen said playing with her press-on-nails. “And loud” Olga said next to me. “I want to get some pictures with the drivers” i said and then laughed. “Of course you do, baby” Olga said and laughed with me. “We all do” Maureen corrected and I took another sip of my wine.
(in correct order, Maureen portrayed by Ashley Benson, Annabelle portrayed by Blake Lively, Olga portrayed by Magdalena Lamparska -the right one-)

I’ve seen a lot of girls in my life but Madeleine was something else, she intrigued me, she made me curious about her. Madeleine I repeated in my head. In Monaco you see a lot of woman, beautiful women but almost everyone of them had done something to them in a surgical way but Madeleine was something else, she looked good without that, she didn’t need it. I could swear that she would look beautiful even after waking up in the morning. I had to shake my head and smile as I saw her leave the grocery store. I have never been in Germany or Berlin before but we had a race here and before we leave I wanted to cook something instead of let someone deliver my food.
I was sitting in my uber and got a call from my mother. “Maman…what can I do for you?” i asked her over the phone. “Hello, Charles…I just wanted to ask how it’s going?” she said and I could hear her smile. “Good, we’re doing good, I’ll come over tomorrow when I’m going back” i said softly. “Sounds great, son…you sound…happy…did something happen?” she asked surprised but with a chuckle. “No…I’m just excited to see you again tomorrow” i said my mind going back to the brunette I just met. “I’ll cook something special for you…oh by the way…is Alexandra coming with you” she asked slowly getting serious at the mention of Alexandra. “I don’t know, I don’t think so…she’s busy a lot lately” i said to my mother as she mentioned my girlfriend. “Oh…well…then I’ll make sure to make you a typical french dinner” she said casually. “Sounds good” I said and she said goodbye before ending the call. It was no secret that I had a girlfriend after all me and Alexandra are a couple since 2022 and we weren’t really hiding it. Alexandra was not my first girlfriend but she was the one that I chose the only problem was that she was always busy and had from time to time less time for me and my family. I don’t care but she also isn’t really the girl for everything, she’s more the girl that looks good and doesn’t leave the house without makeup. There have never been much problems but lately we had more arguments which is quite understandable with my career and how she acted sometimes. Every time we would do something without my fans or my career she got a headache and to be honest I only visited my parents with her two times. I sometimes really had to hold back myself because it annoyed me but I am a really understanding person and I tolerate her things like she does with mine…tho I can’t get the stranger out of my head. I needed to clear my head.

The night was a pretty sleepless one for me because the mattress and the bed made my back hurt and not even Olga cuddling up herself next to me was helping there. I tried my luck on the couch in the living room and kitchen which was a challenge too but less than the bed in my room. I already knew that it would be painful for me in the morning no matter where I slept. “Did you sleep on the couch?” Annabelle whispered facing me as she got out of her room with me laying on the couch scrolling through my phone. “Yeah, the bed killed me” i said annoyed. “Oh shit…sorry” she said grimaced. “Don’t worry…I only got 3 hours of sleep…I hope I’ll don’t fall asleep today” i said rubbing my eyes, putting my phone away. “You won’t, not at the race, trust me” she said smirking before adding “But I think you need a strong coffee, just like me” walking over to make some coffee. “Yes please” i said frustrated which made her chuckle. “I was thinking about going to the beach today” i said walking over to her. “The beach?” Annabelle asked amused. “More the promenade” i said tilting my head. “Sounds good…we’ll wake up Maureen and Olga later and walk down to the Promenade and walk around a little” she said handing me the coffee. “Thanks…Sounds good” i said as we both took a sip of the coffee.
We were dressed up for the race and as always completely plan-less about what we should do. We took a Taxi to the location since the race was going through the whole city. As soon as our tickets were scanned we entered the whole thing and put the tickets with the ribbon on it around our neck. “Okay where are we starting?” Maureen asked confused. “I already talked with a guy I bumped into, he said water is right on the left in there, the toilets are on the left in there and he also told me that we have paddock tickets which actually means that we are standing right at the garages and we get like ear protection that look like headphones cause the cars are driving really loud and you’d hear it from everywhere which sounds a little dramatic to me but hey…better than nothing” i said gesturing with my hands too, as always. “Huh…good thing actually” Olga said nodding while having a confused look on her face. “Okay we’re just gonna walk around look at everything maybe go to that guy so he can give us some advice or tour…and have fun” Annabelle said looking around. “Wait…I might have an idea” she said smirking as she walked up to a random guy and asked him some things while we stood there watching her. “That’s one way to solve it…” Annabelle said impressed. “She’s quite smart actually” Maureen said and we nodded in agreement. “I wouldn’t have recognised the guy so…” i said as we waited for her. She came back with her phone and a mischievous laugh. “What did you get?” I asked curious. “I took notes of the things he said, it’s his third time and he told me the ways and some infos and I got a number too…his number…” she said casually and I laughed. “Cute story…now let’s get going” Olga said as she took Maureen’s phone and read through it to get a little planned.

Why did you elbow me? 172
Achilles Castle part 74
Lemonade and lies PART 17
Liv: pov all of us are in the breakroom talking and taking a few minute break. You know me Fin, Amanda and Carisi had an odd case a few years back a little girl was kidnapped, she was found in the back of a trunk we arrested a guy turns out he stole the car with the girl in the trunk from a store parking lot and had nothing to do with our case we eventually track down the cars new owner and arrested him at his house. While at his house we found a child sized shirt, Carisi adds that the backyard had a patch of different grass in one spot.
Fin: pov we tested the shirt for DNA and it didn't match our suspect it matched a missing kid. We originally assumed the weird patch of grass was because someone killed the missing kid whose DNA was on the shirt. But in a shocking turn of events the dead body. Who was a child, matched the DNA of our suspect's mother but not him so it wasn't a sibling of his. Turns out our suspect was the missing boy and this woman who claimed to be his mother kidnapped him after her son had an accident while she and her husband were arguing. And when Liv told her what she did was wrong she said she deserved another child because hers died and his mother was ill at the time and she could give him a better home instead.
Esposito: pov wow that is an awful story i can't believe you deal with this type of stuff every day. It's almost 7 and Liv tells us all to go home for dinner. Carisi tells Liv he has a male friend who is divorced and when the guy found out you were single he gave me his phone number to give to you, Liv says why did you tell him I'm single. I can hear Fin laughing behind Liv. She turns towards Fin and says I can give you the night shift if you keep it up. Fin suddenly gets really quiet. Liv shouts, you and Amanda need to stay out of my love life, it's none of your business. I have to go to the bathroom before we leave Fin.
Elliot: pov I walk up to Fin and ask what Liv means by Amanda needs to stay out of my love life. He mentions that Amanda said to Liv about you and her. Amanda said that her mom told her when she and Carisi were dating to get a hotel room. Implying to Liv that you and her should get a hotel room. Liv is still hurt from you ghosting her and Amanda just doesn't see it the same way Liv does. She moved on and dated other people, she loves you like family. Probably would kill for you but that is another story. Esposito is talking about how Lanie never gets sick the only times she takes off is for Kate. Fin and Liv leave the precinct together. Esposito is waiting for Lanie and Ryan already left to be with Jenny, his pregnant wife.
Castle: pov Esposito and Lanie are at the hospital Visiting Kate. Lanie is talking with Kate's Dr's while Jim is getting us food he said he needed to walk. He got back from hanging out with his friend a little while ago. A nurse is checking Kate's vitals, she is doing much better. Dr Jason and nurse Wendy appear in Kate's room to go over a few things he says if everything looks good by tomorrow morning she can go home but to take it easy for a day or two. This great news the nurse has some soup for Kate.
Jim: pov i’m back with the food Katie says if everything looks good I can go home tomorrow which is good news. Castle is talking about how much writing he has gotten done today. My day was great. My friend and I had a great time catching up. We might go see a baseball game tomorrow if he has the time. I already have the tickets for the game. Why is hospital food always not that good? The sandwiches are okay but not the best. Lanie said something about her and Esposito having a quiet night at home since Castle told her to go home, she does so much for Katie she deserves some alone time with Esposito.
Jenny: pov Ryan is finally home, tonight we have plans to set up some of the baby furniture after dinner. Fish sticks and Mac and cheese is for dinner with broccoli on the side. I bathe Sarah Grace while he cleans the kitchen. I have a bad habit of calling him Ryan instead of Kevin lol. I love bath time with her. I’m reading Sarah Grace a story while she is in the bath. Afterwards, I put her to bed. Esposito is coming over this weekend to help paint the baby's room. Nesting is insane. I cleaned the kitchen floor with an old toothbrush this morning. Once the crib is put together which looks very hard to do Ryan moves onto the stroller and pack n play while I try to put the bassinet together Ryan eventually winds up helping me by the end we are both exhausted. My hormones are all over the place and my back is sore from bending over while scrubbing the floor today.
Lanie: pov dinner was amazing and so is what we did in the bedroom, Esposito loves looking up weird positions online. I find it weird, it doesn't matter to me which way the furniture is placed in the room. All I care about is the fact that my back is going to hurt from moving the heavy dresser. I don't care if he is in bed or not, I'm tired and going to bed. It was his stupid choice to move the furniture around tonight.
Cassidy: pov it's late at night and, me and Liv are cuddling in bed Noah fell asleep a while ago. Liv is very excited about Taylor swift coming up she even bought beads to make friendship bracelets with Amanda Billie and Jessie which is so cute. To be continued. …….…….
