also gettin back into the vast umbrella of vaporwave/lofi(?ithinkitscalled) recently and. yeah. it was there for me before it’s still doing the same thing for me now

#like they've never been too good for me but now that I'm on smth else entirely i can so obviously see how bad they were lol #like. i can enjoy music again. i can WRITE. i want to do things other than stare at a screen. wow.#and it's funny that i describe it and it's like. just depression symptoms lol. and yeah!!!! they just made it worse!!!!!!#when i was a teen on ssri (+mood stabilizers) i was functioning but my god was i just a husk of a person lol #and i was also shiiiiiit like my therapist pointed out after i got off them that i was still suicidal through it all lol #and yeah . i also self harmed while on them even more than when i got off #they just make you so numb it's like the only way to feel something lol #obviously ik it's not a universal thing. my brain is just a mess so commonly helpful meds make it even worse lol #long story short glad I'm not on them anymore. and these new meds are. fine. helpful up until certain points. idk.#this is just a ramble bc I've got no one to talk to rn other than my cat so. suffer through my thoughts. sorry 😘

I just went to see this production of mean girls from this amateur theatre group my cousin is part of (she was backstage for this one) and !!! it was so freaking good I forgot these weren't professionals. ESPECIALLY the girl playing cady was phenomenal and the regina and janis and her friend were also fantastic !!

anyways, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTISTS !!! ALWAYS !!!!

#i'm still flabbergasted with how good it was #the walls to the theatre were decorated with oages of the burn book with bad things about the cast members #they had a merch store !! and the poster was so good #also they had the thingies where the cast names are written (dunno what they're called) styled as the burn book cover #and banners of the high school!#the sets were also great and super varied !!#my cousin appeared onstage once as the girl bringing the button during the mathathlon scene :)#ALSO!!! tonight was the last show so they presented the musical they'll do next year (the prom)#with and acted recorded bit they agowed us on screen that then faded into the stage (INSANE)#ALSO ALSO #MY COUSIN WILL BE A CAST MEMBER IN IT!!?#they performed the night belongs to you and ahe appeared as a dancer 😭😭😭😭#i dis not know this and ahe waa great and auper pretty and <333 #she's the youngest in the family and i'm the oldest. i cannot describe how proud i am of her
