ok after reblogging that "discord alternatives" list, guilded seems crisp af. only downside (for me at least) is that there's no way to be in lightmode that i could find. Dark mode has started causing vertigo for me for long periods of time sadly :C

But it basically seems like old-style discord with some handy QOL bits, like integrated polls and forums.
