no but changing v's age to a tiny little baby* was silly and it was extra silly to give both female and male V the same birthday, because i see them as totally different characters with different personalities. and them having different birthdays was a nice addition that kinda highlighted it. like of course everyone can make their own V and roleplay as any kind of character they like, but i think the voice acting (english version) and romance options do paint a certain type of base for their personalities.

male v is a man in a man's world and he has to act like one in order to fit in and to survive. he has to have this cool tough guy act on, but sometimes it breaks, and you can find out what he really is feeling (for example talking to vik after the heist or the scene with skye/angel at the clouds). his romance options are both pretty big and wild personalities, and vincent in comparison to them is almost like more of a calming presence. but he does happily go along with both panam's and kerry's shenanigans.

female v is a woman living in a misogynistic world and that pisses her off. she is quick to anger and doesn't try to hide too much what she is feeling. if someone has an issue with how she expresses herself, then that's their fucking problem. to balance this, her romance options aren't as wild as panam and kerry, and they both offer a certain kind of domesticity to valerie. judy wants to move in with her immediately after their first time having sex (like a typical lesbian lol), and river is a family man and you can't make him leave his sister and her children. valerie's sex scenes are also less crazy and more "serene" and traditional than what vincent gets (a tank and a burning yacht).

some of these differences are also probably due to some underlying sexism in the writing (woman being more emotional, man getting wilder partners and so forth). but i still like that there are differencies. and when you add the three different life paths, you can get some nice variety to this pre-written character.

*i'm being overly dramatic because i myself am "old" and also a bit of a clown.

The first idea is the softest I think so personally ofc that's the one I like personally. but the second idea is SO FUNNY 2 ME bc it's something that Lord Eclipse would probably loathe to do but probably have to do a few times to boost morale LMAOOO 😭 THEY TURNED HIS ASS INTO A JUNGLE GYM!!!!!

Even still, as delightful as both options are, I'd imagine there's WAY less arms and hands involved and more... like. boa constrictor moves. and it'd go like that AHAJSBAKDNW

(Also yes he has legs, just not people legs! He has both the lil skittery legs and the long fake-out legs that actual centipedes have! The first several sections of his body are arms, but unfortunately I like my men to skitter, so he needed some actual buggy legs <3 worth noting tho this is only bc my beloved friend kat drew him like that and I liked it much more than the idea of "his long body with many arms Never Stops" LMAOAHSKWHD)

Hold Me

“Can I hold you?” It was unplanned but the question came from you naturally…you just weren’t sure if it was for him or for you. Maybe both. 

Astarion’s posture tightens at your request, but then his eyes go soft and his shoulders relax. “Please,” he says.

You fall into each other and it brings you the solace you’d seek as a child when you’d throw yourself onto a bed freshly made and desperately attempt to find consolation within your own solitude.

But this was different, you weren’t alone. 

The desperation in which he holds you back unwinds you from the inside, giving you allowance to let go.

He won’t let you fall. 

Astarion’s arm cradles the small of your back, lost in the waves of your hair. You settle your cheek against his collarbone like it always belonged there as his fingers comb back strands to brush bare skin, it hums beneath his touch. 

His smell blankets you like a grove and all the while, your blood warms to be so near him. You’re going to be okay. You’re alive. 

“I’m working on being happy too…” you say. “I know it’s hard.”

You feel his chest rise beneath you, matching your own desperation for relief. Then he lets go, sinking into you, a lifetime of disquietude releases in a single breath. 

“I can’t miss you anymore, my love.” His words brush against your forehead and you are blessed. 

“You don’t have to. I’m here.” 

You find it impossible to untangle yourself from him.     If only you could stay this way for the rest of time. 

Because in that moment, you believe,     that the Gods had made you just to fit in his embrace,          a cathedral to this feeling that only he could give you.

It was so pure it could only be holy,      something that went beyond love. 

If there was only one name to describe it,      then it would be his.

If either BMOS Sun or Moon is crying, and the other isn't around, what does Y/N do to help?

With sun, y/n let's sun hold them! He stays grounded by gently messing with their hair and lightly brushing their skin! He likes to sometimes vent but he never really explains what's wrong. He's kinda private mostly to make sure the people around him don't worry too much. Once sun feels better, he'll brush the whole thing off and act all happy! And he is happy, but he usually doesn't deal with the mental issue, so sometimes it festers and gets worse

Moon goes non verbal and doesn't want to be hugged. He does like hugs but when he's really upset he feels a bit claustrophobic when someone cages him in their arms. He does like his hand to be held. The best way y/n can help is by comfortably sitting in silence with him. He likes when they lightly rub their thumb on his palm because it's not overwhelming and it keeps him grounded! Once he starts to feel better, he'll sink in next to y/n and maybe quietly talk about what's bothering him! He's private but a bit more open than sun is. It takes a lot for moon to allow someone to sit next to him when he's crying because he doesn't like being vulnerable. He can be really mean when someone tries to force their "help" on him.

Marius is already a very sun coded character but I listened to Icarus by Bastille AND THE LYRICS FIT HIS CHARACTER SO WELL

omg so my friends from out of state visited me today and it was SOOO SO FUN I FEEL SO WARM AND <333 i was a bit nervous in the hours leading up to it for some reason but when i saw them the three of us hugged each other and it was so nice ('': we had dinner and then went to get bubble tea and we hung out there for a few hours ^__^ at the cafe my friend and i were sitting side by side on a little sofa and our friend was sitting across from us and it was very cute because i was able to put my arm around my friend and she would also hold my hands which was soooo nice because they were freezing 😬 as it got late we went back to their airbnb where i stayed for a bit before going home and it was really nice to be able to chat for a bit more ^__^ AND i also got to hug my friend for a bit while we were talking and i just felt so so warm and happy T__T
