the design philosophy of Edda and Aven goes very very very hard into contrast, all the way from color to shape to gender. everything about Aven from his gender to his body to his powers is sharp and angular, and vice versa with Edda. this can be extended to his physical texture; since Aven is canonically shredded, he’d be hard to the touch, his arms and torso physically firm.

As a bigger human myself, one of the things I've loved seeing in GO fanfiction is how much Crowley loves Aziraphale's figure. Not in spite of his shape, but because of who it belongs to. Most media steers clear of that. I've never gotten to read stories where someone is marveling over a soft belly or full thighs. I've never seen myself in a story like that.
