I just saw a job description with a fascinating set of technical red flags:
Milliseconds matter! Performance is key! Optimizing database access, algorithms, choosing the right data structures, in general working to design performant systems.
This is a C# job. Usually, if optimization actually really matters in a piece of software, it would be written in C or C++, or maybe Go, not C#. So this means that either they used the wrong language for their stack (and have no intent to switch) or they don't know what actually makes good software good and just put this on the job description to make it look sharp.
We write code from the ground up. We don’t use a lot of frameworks, packages, etc. Not a lot of macro-level stuff. Core software engineering chops is what we’re looking for.
Translation: "We like to waste a lot of time reinventing the wheel".
Our suite of systems is vast and varied. There are web services (REST, SOAP, hybrid), windows services, daemons, websites, libraries, command line tools, windows apps.
"Our services have no consistent interface, or guiding design principles, and getting them to interact with each other sensibly will be a nightmare."
We have plans to redesign several of the older systems, which will be a lot of fun.
"Our legacy codebase is so bad that we finally decided we couldn't fix it and instead are throwing it all out and starting over again."
There are a lot of system interfaces, both within our own suite as well as across teams in the organization. Plenty of opportunities for collaboration with a lot of smart people.
"We mentioned earlier that our services have no consistent interface, but have we also mentioned that there are a lot of them?"
We have immediate needs for refactoring and several enhancements to allow us to scale up to meet increased loads.
"The technical debt is so bad that even management thinks it's time to refactor."
We work with LOTS of data (many, many TB) & it comes fast! Scalability & heavy transactional loads, heavy reporting are common challenges for us. We solve a lot of interesting and tricky problems. Often not your typical collect/save/display that you get at other places. Not snapping into established frameworks. Working across tiers as required. Opportunities for more advanced coding.
Normally this wouldn't be a red flag, but when combined with the rest of the job description, it just really hammers home the point that it's going to be a huge pain in the ass to work with this codebase and a lot of "clever" hacky shit will probably be required.

Navigating the Complex World of Mobile App Development
In today’s tech-driven world, mobile apps have become a cornerstone of how we connect, work, and play. Whether you’re launching a startup or enhancing an established business, building a mobile app can be a game-changing move. One of the most important decisions you’ll face is choosing the right technology stack. The tech stack you pick will directly influence your app’s performance, scalability, and overall user experience.
What Exactly Is a Tech Stack?
A tech stack is essentially the set of tools, programming languages, and frameworks you use to build your app. For mobile apps, the stack typically consists of three main components:
Front-End: This is what users see and interact with — the app’s interface.
Back-End: This is the engine under the hood — handling data storage, processing, and integrations.
Platform: The operating system your app is built for, like iOS, Android, or both.
Key Considerations When Picking a Tech Stack
Let’s dive into the options and what you should think about when deciding which tools to use.
Platform Options
Native Development
Languages:
iOS: Swift or Objective-C
Android: Kotlin or Java
Pros:
Best-in-class performance.
Full access to device features like cameras, sensors, and GPS.
Cons:
Higher costs.
Longer development time if building for both iOS and Android.
2. Cross-Platform Development
Frameworks:
React Native (JavaScript and React)
Flutter (Dart)
Xamarin (C#)
Pros:
Faster development.
Reusable code for both iOS and Android.
Generally lower costs.
Cons:
Slightly lower performance compared to native apps.
Limited access to some advanced native features.
3. Hybrid Development
Tools:
Ionic (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
PhoneGap/Cordova (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Pros:
Easy to learn and work with if you’re familiar with web development.
Leverages standard web technologies.
Cons:
Performance is not as strong as native or well-optimized cross-platform apps.
User experience can feel less “native.”
How to Make the Best Choice for Your App
Your decision will depend on several factors. Here are some key points to consider:
App Complexity:
For simple apps, cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter are great choices.
For feature-heavy or complex apps, native development might be the way to go.
Time to Market:
If you’re on a tight schedule, cross-platform tools can speed up the process.
Budget:
Native development can be pricey since you’ll likely need separate teams for iOS and Android.
Cross-platform and hybrid options are usually more cost-effective.
Performance Needs:
Native apps deliver the best performance, but modern cross-platform frameworks have come a long way and can handle most needs efficiently.
Team Expertise:
Leverage the skills your team already has. If they’re experienced in JavaScript, for example, React Native might be a natural fit.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right tech stack is a pivotal step in mobile app development. It’s about finding the perfect balance between your project’s requirements, your budget, and your team’s expertise. By weighing factors like app complexity, performance, and cost, you can make a well-informed choice that sets your app up for success. Remember, a solid tech stack is the foundation of a scalable, user-friendly, and high-quality app.

Calamity~
I am sure you have heard that there is a possibility that HouHou is having a rerun soon and I am planning to get her and maybe even her lightcon! Anyway~ I just wanted to ask you if you have some advice for her build and lightcones and all that :3
Tumblr media
Oh! And I did unlock all areas and relics, just wanted to mention it in case hahah~
Tumblr media
lets GOOOOOOOO (been a huohuo enjoyer since day one, has her e1, first limited five star to get copies of)
welcome to my huohuo deep dive, here you will learn to huohuo like a true huohuo enjoyer.
How you build your HuoHuo somewhat depends on what you're looking to get out of her. HuoHuo is funny in the way she can be a pure healer HuoHuo, a hybrid healer support HuoHuo, or as I've dubbed, Aventurine Syndrome: HuoHuo edition (accidentally outdps-ing your dps) (yes this has happened to me) (no my huohuo isn't built to deal damage this just randomly happens)
Here will be the basics to building your HuoHuo! Pay attention! Please.
Tumblr media
The HuoHuo Skill Breakdown: Before you can officially HuoHuo, you must understand HOW to HuoHuo.
HuoHuo is a wind character who follows the path of Abundance, meaning her main role in a team will be that of a healer. In addition to being able to heal, HuoHuo also provides many buffs to your allies via skill and ultimate.
HuoHuo's basic attack is just this, a basic attack. Don't focus on it unless you're bored and want to level it up, like me <3
HuoHuo's skill, Talisman: Protection, is the core of HuoHuo's kit. Using this skill, she will dispel a debuff from your chosen ally, and heal them for a portion of their hp based on HuoHuo's own max hp. She will also heal adjacent allies to the chosen ally's left and right, healing up to three allies at once. Using her skill will grant HuoHuo two stacks of Divine Provision (three if you have her E1), and while you possess it, three things can happen.
When allies use their ultimate or their turn starts, they will get healed for a small portion of their hp.
Every ally with 50% hp or lower will also be healed once.
It will dispel one debuff from an ally at the start of their turn.
HuoHuo's ultimate, Tail: Spiritual Domination, is a support ultimate where HuoHuo will regenerate a certain amount of energy for all allies, as well as increase their attack for 2 turns.
HuoHuo's bonus talents grant the following:
Fearful to Act - Gains 1 turns worth of Divine Provision at the start of a battle.
The Cursed One - Crowd Control Resist increases by 35%.
Stress Reaction to Horror - Regenerates 1 energy when her talent is triggered to heal allies.
Pure Healer HuoHuo: This HuoHuo build will focus on getting HuoHuo to heal your team as much as possible! For lightcones, you will either want to go either:
Warmth Shortens Cold Nights or Hey, Over Here
Both of these are 4-star lightcones that increase the wearer's max hp, as well as restore ally hp/increase outgoing healing. And since HuoHuo scales with hp to heal, the more she can get, the better it will be for her!
For this build, you will want to go with Passerby of Wandering Cloud, Which increases outgoing healer and immediately regenerates one skill point at the beginning of a battle.
For the attributes, you will want to go for HP/ATK/HP Percentage or Outgoing Healing Bonus/HP percentage or SPD main stats. Since we are building a pure healer here, you might want to go Triple HP or Double HP and Healing Bonus! Who CARES if HuoHuo's a little slow /j
As for substats, you'll want HP/HP Percentage, as well as SPD and Effect RES!
For the Sphere and Rope, for pure healer HuoHuo, you'll go with Fleet of the Ageless, which increases max HP! You'll go HP Percentage Sphere and HP Percentage Rope.
Your substats can be whatever you want!! (HP, SPD, Effect RES)
Hybrid Healer Support HuoHuo: This HuoHuo build will focus on HuoHuo as a hybrid support! This is actually the less popular option for some reason, according to in-game player data. But, this is how I built my HuoHuo, so, I am a wee bit biased hehe. For lightcones, you got many MANY more options, such as:
Night of Fright (HuoHuo LC), Time Waits for No One (5* Baliu LC), Shared Feeling, and Fine Fruit/Multiplication (3* LC)
It's your choice in what it is you want to use, since these lightcones all have varying passives. It's up to what you have and what you want your HuoHuo to do. For me, I have Time Waits for No One on HuoHuo since it gives max HP increase, outgoing healing, and deals additional dmg once per turn.
So, read up on those passive skills and decide what you want to use!
For this build, I recommend Messenger Traversing Hackerspace! This set increases SPD and increases the SPD of allies when using your ultimate. This bonus is really nice for HuoHuo, since then her ultimate will be giving you three buffs instead of just two buffs and it's a set that can benefit every team.
For the attributes, you'll want to go for the same as healer HuoHuo, which is HP/ATK/HP Percentage or Outgoing Healing Bonus/HP Percentage or SPD main stats. However, instead of Triple HP like Healer HuoHuo, you'll want to go with SPD boots instead of HP % boots! HP % vs Outgoing Healing Bonus is a personal decision, that one is up to you! Alternatively, you could be do fucked up funny and put on a CRIT DMG body on her for the meme and watch her commit crimes of spooky normal attack violence (did that once)
For the substats, same rules as Healer HuoHuo! HP/HP Percentage, Effect RES and SPD! Unless you're fucked up and gremlin-like, then CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG work too <3
For Sphere and Rope, you also have a lot more options! You can be a fucked up gremlin (ie, DPS HuoHuo, I'm not telling you how to build it even though I know how because this is a MEME/j) or you can be normal and run sets like Penacony, Land of the Dreams (Increases Energy Regeneration, also good if you're running other wind characters like Blade, Sampo, or Black Swan), Broken Keel (Effect RES and increases ally CRIT DMG when Efeect RES is 30% or higher, which is easy to get with HuoHuo.), or Springly Vonwacq (Increases Energy Regeneration, and when SPD is 120 or higher, action advancement).
For the actual attributes... for sphere, you can run HP percentage or Wind DMG Bonus if you're funny, and for link, you'll run either HP percent or Energy Regeneration! Probably Energy Regeneration for more support value.
Okay, your substats here can ACTUALLY be whatever you want. Effect RES, SPD, DEF, HP, it's all lowkey very good on a hybrid HuoHuo!!
Trace Priority: LIVE YOUR LIFE HOW YOU WANTTTTTTTTT.
Healer HuoHuo: Skill > Talent > Extra Abilities > Ultimate > Basic ATK
Hybrid HuoHuo: Ultimate and Skill > Extra Abilities > Talent > Basic ATK
( These are just my personal suggestions lmao )
I hope these were... relatively helpful to you?? I tried to offer you the best advice I have based on my personal HuoHuo knowledge.

Are there any other animals that are like dolphins in the galaxy?
Excellent question!
I think when we're talking about the 'uplifting' process we should go into it with a brief definition.
This is going to be a bit of a long one.
Uplifting involves four core steps
Communication
Proposal
Modification
Integration
---Communication---
We must be able to communicate with the creatures with minimal misunderstandings. This is by far the hardest step, and involves perhaps the most morally questionable actions.
Almost every species with potential for uplift lacks an essential aspect: an attention span.
With dolphins we were fairly lucky - we had many in captivity as part of rescue programs, and because our facilities were so boring compared to the ocean floor, they were far more willing to comply with our initial attempts at communication. [Some dolphin advocates point to this being coercion.]
With the help of specialized class III AI, and a rigorous education program, we were able to establish a shared vocabulary with dolphins - and create basic translation suites for sonar communication.
From there, it's a lot of tedious work fleshing out the shared vocabulary. This process is different for every species because they each have exceptionally unique experiences and behaviors which define their own languages.
We learned, for example, that dolphins lean very heavily on simile, metaphor, and comparative reference for their language when encountering unknown phenomenon. They create new hybrid words to describe them. As dolphins communally learn new things, they revise their words.
For us, these are extremely long 'words', but sonar communication allows huge amounts of data to be compressed into a short, but complex sound.
For instance, the word for 'human' (when we first began communications) was "like-octopus, shell stacking, spinning above, swim poorly, drowning, like-bird, not-bird, rock stacking, shapeshifter, waveshaper, clumsy, gifting, like-dolphin, like-shark, fun"
Moving to the next step not only requires that we know their words, but that they understand many of our words which they have no context for.
Needless to say, it's a slow, frustrating process for all parties involved.
---Proposal---
Once we have a dialogue going with the species, we propose uplifting. We lay it all out for the species as best as we can. We ask them if they would like to a number of augmentations and modifications which will allow them to live more easily beside humans.
For dolphins, this involved genetic modifications, specialized equipment [such as exopods], cultural education, and physical training.
They must also accept that these changes may ostracize them from their former culture. The vast majority of dolphins are not uplifted, and actively dislike uplifted dolphins.
Individual dolphins who accept the proposal are brought to specialized facilities to undergo the modification
---Modification---
The modifications are extensive, and I won't list them all here. But they are both physical and mental.
For example, dolphins are given improved eyesight (to help them relate to humans which are a very visual species).
Besides body modifications, they are also given rigorous training to allow them to become accustomed to typical human social norms, art, and work.
All uplifted dolphins are given arms on their exopods- learning that type of fine motor control is perhaps the most difficult step for them physiologically.
---Integration---
All the training in the world can't guarantee your success once you're emerged in a new culture. After modification, uplifted dolphins live in specialized communities which gradually expose them to the Sol Union. The integration program is like a school and job placement program mixed into one.
Some dolphins graduate within a couple of years, other take decades to adjust. Some never do, and regret their uplift entirely. Unfortunately de-uplifting is not entirely effective or possible at this time.
After they graduate they have equality in the eyes of the law and with few exceptions (typically jobs that they are too big physically for) are able to hold any job or office that a human citizen could.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The Born Uplifted:
This isn't one of the four steps, but it's worth mentioning that uplifted dolphin partners can elect to have a child that is uplifted from birth.
These 'born uplifted' are typically far better adapted to the Sol Union, and rarely if ever express regret at their lifestyle.
Other Species:
Okay, getting to your actual question.
The Sol Union is currently in the process of opening communication with a number of species. The two most promising are chimps and octopi.
Octopus communication is so incredibly different from human communication that we've been developing that first step for decades with only small progress. The most promising results have been on a species of octopi bioengineered to live for 80 years - though this bioengineering was technically illegal, and this research is stuck in legal review.
Chimp communication progressed very well, and we were close to moving to the proposal step. Right now, these efforts have stalled because of concerns that the chimps don't 'truly' understand the implications of us increasing their intelligence. Age-old debates about the sapience of our genetic cousins have sparked to life and frozen any progress on this front.
So ultimately, no other human uplifted creatures are out in the galaxy besides dolphins. However, there are a ton of different dolphin species represented in that sample! Orcas, common dolphins, most of the species you could think of.
I hope that answered your question!

Wish List For A Game Profiler
I want a profiler for game development. No existing profiler currently collects the data I need. No existing profiler displays it in the format I want. No existing profiler filters and aggregates profiling data for games specifically.
I want to know what makes my game lag. Sure, I also care about certain operations taking longer than usual, or about inefficient resource usage in the worker thread. The most important question that no current profiler answers is: In the frames that currently do lag, what is the critical path that makes them take too long? Which function should I optimise first to reduce lag the most?
I know that, with the right profiler, these questions could be answered automatically.
Hybrid Sampling Profiler
My dream profiler would be a hybrid sampling/instrumenting design. It would be a sampling profiler like Austin (https://github.com/P403n1x87/austin), but a handful of key functions would be instrumented in addition to the sampling: Displaying a new frame/waiting for vsync, reading inputs, draw calls to the GPU, spawning threads, opening files and sockets, and similar operations should always be tracked. Even if displaying a frame is not a heavy operation, it is still important to measure exactly when it happens, if not how long it takes. If a draw call returns right away, and the real work on the GPU begins immediately, it’s still useful to know when the GPU started working. Without knowing exactly when inputs are read, and when a frame is displayed, it is difficult to know if a frame is lagging. Especially when those operations are fast, they are likely to be missed by a sampling debugger.
Tracking Other Resources
It would be a good idea to collect CPU core utilisation, GPU utilisation, and memory allocation/usage as well. What does it mean when one thread spends all of its time in that function? Is it idling? Is it busy-waiting? Is it waiting for another thread? Which one?
It would also be nice to know if a thread is waiting for IO. This is probably a “heavy” operation and would slow the game down.
There are many different vendor-specific tools for GPU debugging, some old ones that worked well for OpenGL but are no longer developed, open-source tools that require source code changes in your game, and the newest ones directly from GPU manufacturers that only support DirectX 12 or Vulkan, but no OpenGL or graphics card that was built before 2018. It would probably be better to err on the side of collecting less data and supporting more hardware and graphics APIs.
The profiler should collect enough data to answer questions like: Why is my game lagging even though the CPU is utilised at 60% and the GPU is utilised at 30%? During that function call in the main thread, was the GPU doing something, and were the other cores idling?
Engine/Framework/Scripting Aware
The profiler knows which samples/stack frames are inside gameplay or engine code, native or interpreted code, project-specific or third-party code.
In my experience, it’s not particularly useful to know that the code spent 50% of the time in ceval.c, or 40% of the time in SDL_LowerBlit, but that’s the level of granularity provided by many profilers.
Instead, the profiler should record interpreted code, and allow the game to set a hint if the game is in turn interpreting code. For example, if there is a dialogue engine, that engine could set a global “interpreting dialogue” flag and a “current conversation file and line” variable based on source maps, and the profiler would record those, instead of stopping at the dialogue interpreter-loop function.
Of course, this feature requires some cooperation from the game engine or scripting language.
Catching Common Performance Mistakes
With a hybrid sampling/instrumenting profiler that knows about frames or game state update steps, it is possible to instrument many or most “heavy“ functions. Maybe this functionality should be turned off by default. If most “heavy functions“, for example “parsing a TTF file to create a font object“, are instrumented, the profiler can automatically highlight a mistake when the programmer loads a font from disk during every frame, a hundred frames in a row.
This would not be part of the sampling stage, but part of the visualisation/analysis stage.
Filtering for User Experience
If the profiler knows how long a frame takes, and how much time is spent waiting during each frame, we can safely disregard those frames that complete quickly, with some time to spare. The frames that concern us are those that lag, or those that are dropped. For example, imagine a game spends 30% of its CPU time on culling, and 10% on collision detection. You would think to optimise the culling. What if the collision detection takes 1 ms during most frames, culling always takes 8 ms, but whenever the player fires a bullet, the collision detection causes a lag spike. The time spent on culling is not the problem here.
This would probably not be part of the sampling stage, but part of the visualisation/analysis stage. Still, you could use this information to discard “fast enough“ frames and re-use the memory, and only focus on keeping profiling information from the worst cases.
Aggregating By Code Paths
This is easier when you don’t use an engine, but it can probably also be done if the profiler is “engine-aware”. It would require some per-engine custom code though. Instead of saying “The game spent 30% of the time doing vector addition“, or smarter “The game spent 10% of the frames that lagged most in the MobAIRebuildMesh function“, I want the game to distinguish between game states like “inventory menu“, “spell targeting (first person)“ or “switching to adjacent area“. If the game does not use a data-driven engine, but multiple hand-written game loops, these states can easily be distinguished (but perhaps not labelled) by comparing call stacks: Different states with different game loops call the code to update the screen from different places – and different code paths could have completely different performance characteristics, so it makes sense to evaluate them separately.
Because the hypothetical hybrid profiler instruments key functions, enough call stack information to distinguish different code paths is usually available, and the profiler might be able to automatically distinguish between the loading screen, the main menu, and the game world, without any need for the code to give hints to the profiler.
This could also help to keep the memory usage of the profiler down without discarding too much interesting information, by only keeping the 100 worst frames per code path. This way, the profiler can collect performance data on the gameplay without running out of RAM during the loading screen.
In a data-driven engine like Unity, I’d expect everything to happen all the time, on the same, well-optimised code path. But this is not a wish list for a Unity profiler. This is a wish list for a profiler for your own custom game engine, glue code, and dialogue trees.
All I need is a profiler that is a little smarter, that is aware of SDL, OpenGL, Vulkan, and YarnSpinner or Ink. Ideally, I would need somebody else to write it for me.

doedipus did a giovanna season 3 wishlist and she's a lot fighting game smarter than me but im gonna do one for ramlethal still:
fix 2d: 2k 2d needs to always combo. this is non negotiable. that is all.
command high (6k): it's ok if it's slow, it doesnt need to do almost any damage. but ramlethal doesnt even have a single special that hits high. she doesnt have gap closers to play a pure zoning game, and thats fine, everyone likes to run up and scratch anyhow. but her current pressure loops are literally Solved. even w the tightest most optimal strings and combos and rekka cancels, there is literally no opportunity to mix up an enemy, which makes her unviable as a strike throw as well. existing as a hybrid is one thing, but making ram players rely on pure next level galaxy brain RPS for every second of every round is not in line w the gameplan of any other viable character. give her a high to crack them open. and let it combo too! alternatively,
command grab: the easy way out. was just talking abt this and it fixes the same issue as last one, esp if it bounces. simple as. but for me it rly does not fit in with rams focus on amazing frame data and superior reads leading to big rewards. so,
pure movement special: how many times have u dauro'd or sildo'd just to close the gap and, naturally, got smacked? how many times have u sat at a distance grinding yr teeth losing neutral bc u wanna move but dont wanna get smacked? give ram a special dash, or some sort of aerial movement thing that leaves her able to act. a fakeout version of either dauro or sildo would fit naturally into her gameplan of "player choices win neutral not moves," allowing her to close gap and do nothing, close gap and dash over, close gap and back up to re-gap, etc. her dash speed is amazing, definitely, but dashblock just isnt enough in this game when blocking at all can put you into an infinite fear loop. make it throwable on read for all i care, but i dont think this is a big ask; im not even asking for a low profile gap closer/counter hitter like every other character in the game has! just let her get close, quickly, safely!
delay setups with swords: theyre giving everyone new specials, and ram already has a resource right there: two swords. currently they have exactly one use, mid projectile pressure, and theyre good at it. but this becomes unusable except as confirm in high level play, esp in corner pressure (the good players know to block low and when to press a button). i dont have an exact proposal but my idea to expand their use would be something similar to her xrd sword setups: a delayed disjoint mine, one in the air one on the ground. using the move expends the sword in the same way as shoot, but instead of applying brief unworrying projectile pressure it locks an opponent into their position, further opening rams approach and increasing mental stack. all part of her current gameplan but more. we're smart enough to figure out setups i promise daisuke.
improve js startup by like 2: if u get the read on yr opponent doing dumb jump in u should always win. i shouldnt be trading with like baiken jp or whatever the fuck. im the zoner, and this is my only real zoning move. im not asking for a ground to air, or a dp, or a diff followup, anything. and this wont be any different towards moves it already beats. just let my js hit. please.

Best Way to Build a Crypto Exchange: Cost, Time & Tech Guide
Tumblr media
Introduction: Why Build a Crypto Exchange?
Ever thought of owning your own crypto exchange like Binance or Coinbase? With the crypto market booming and digital assets becoming mainstream, launching your own exchange might just be the golden ticket. Not only does it offer multiple revenue streams—like trading fees and token listings—but it also puts you at the heart of the fintech revolution. But here's the catch: building a crypto exchange isn’t just about coding. It’s about compliance, trust, tech, and timing. Let’s walk through the best way to build a crypto exchange step-by-step.
Understanding Crypto Exchanges
Before diving in, you need to understand what you’re building.
Centralized vs. Decentralized Exchanges
Centralized Exchanges (CEXs): These are managed by a company or authority. Think Binance or Kraken. They're faster and more user-friendly.
Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs): No middleman. Users trade directly from wallets (e.g., Uniswap). More privacy, but more complex tech and lower speed.
Key Features of a Successful Exchange
High Liquidity
Secure Wallets
User-friendly UI/UX
Robust KYC/AML
Multi-currency Support
24/7 Customer Support
These aren’t just nice-to-haves—they’re essential.
Step-by-Step Guide to Building a Crypto Exchange
Step 1: Market Research and Legal Compliance
Before writing a single line of code, do your homework.
Regulatory Landscape
Different countries, different rules. In the U.S., you’ll deal with the SEC and FinCEN. In Europe, it’s MiCA. Make sure you comply or risk being shut down.
Target Market Identification
Are you targeting beginners or seasoned traders? Focused on NFTs or DeFi tokens? Your audience defines your features.
Step 2: Choosing the Right Exchange Type
Spot Exchange vs. Derivatives Exchange
Spot Exchange: Buy/sell crypto at current prices. Easier to build.
Derivatives Exchange: Think futures, options—more complex, more regulations.
Hybrid Exchange Possibilities
Want the best of both worlds? Build a hybrid. It combines the liquidity and speed of CEXs with the anonymity and freedom of DEXs.
Step 3: Technology Stack and Architecture
Now, let’s talk tech.
Frontend and Backend Development
Frontend: Built using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Backend: Node.js, Python (Django), or Golang are solid picks.
Database: PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
Cloud: AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Security Infrastructure
Security is non-negotiable. Implement:
Cold Wallets for storage
2FA & Email confirmations
Anti-DDOS protection
Encryption of sensitive data
Step 4: Liquidity Management
No one wants to trade on a ghost town exchange. Partner with liquidity providers or connect to other exchanges via APIs to ensure buy/sell orders always have a match.
Step 5: User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) Design
Make it clean, intuitive, and responsive. If your users can’t find the “Buy” button, they won’t stay.
Step 6: Integrating Wallets and Payment Systems
Add crypto wallets (hot and cold) and fiat gateways like Stripe, MoonPay, or bank wire support. The more options, the better.
Step 7: KYC/AML Compliance Integration
Use third-party KYC providers like SumSub or Jumio to automate verification. This builds trust and keeps you legal.
Step 8: Testing and Deployment
Before going live:
Run unit tests
Perform bug bounties
Penetration testing
Use sandbox environments
Don’t skip this—bugs in crypto = lost funds.
Tumblr media

Before the Firewall: EDSPL’s Visionary Approach to Cyber Defense
Tumblr media
Unlocking the Future of Cyber Resilience
In a world where digital threats are evolving faster than organizations can respond, traditional security practices no longer suffice. Hackers no longer “try” to break in—they expect to. For companies clinging to outdated protocols, this mindset shift is disastrous.
Enter EDSPL, a name synonymous with forward-thinking in the cybersecurity landscape. With an approach built on foresight, adaptability, and deep-rooted intelligence, EDSPL redefines what it means to defend digital frontiers.
Beyond Perimeters: A New Way to Think About Security
For decades, firewalls were considered the first and final gatekeepers. They filtered traffic, monitored endpoints, and acted as the digital equivalent of a fortress wall. But threats don’t wait at the gates—they worm through weaknesses before rules are written.
EDSPL's strategy doesn’t begin at the wall—it begins before the threat even arrives. By identifying weak links, anticipating behaviors, and neutralizing vulnerabilities at inception, this approach ensures an organization’s shield is active even during peace.
Why Post-Incident Action Isn’t Enough Anymore
Once damage is done, it’s already too late. Breach aftermath includes regulatory penalties, customer churn, operational halts, and irrevocable trust erosion. Traditional solutions operate in reactionary mode—cleaning up after the storm.
EDSPL rewrites that narrative. Rather than waiting to respond, its systems monitor, assess, and simulate threats from day zero. Preparation begins before deployment. Validation precedes integration. Proactive decisions prevent reactive disasters.
A Culture of Vigilance Over a Stack of Tools
Contrary to popular belief, cybersecurity is less about firewalls and more about behaviors. Tools assist. Culture shields. When people recognize risks, companies create invisible armor.
EDSPL’s training modules, custom learning paths, real-time phishing simulations, and scenario-based awareness sessions empower human layers to outperform artificial ones. With aligned mindsets and empowered employees, security becomes instinct—not obligation.
Anticipation Over Analysis: Intelligent Pattern Prediction
Threat actors use sophisticated tools. EDSPL counters with smarter intuition. Through behavioral analytics, intent recognition, and anomaly baselining, the system detects the undetectable.
It isn’t just about noticing malware signatures—it’s about recognizing suspicious deviation before it becomes malicious. This kind of prediction creates time—an extremely scarce cybersecurity asset.
Securing Roots: From Line-of-Code to Cloud-Native Workloads
Security shouldn’t begin with a data center—it should start with developers. Vulnerabilities injected at early stages can linger, mutate, and devastate entire systems.
EDSPL secures code pipelines, CI/CD workflows, container environments, and serverless functions, ensuring no opportunity arises for backdoors. From development to deployment, every node is assessed and authenticated.
Hyper-Personalized Defense Models for Every Sector
What works for healthcare doesn’t apply to fintech. Industrial IoT threats differ from eCommerce risks. EDSPL builds adaptive, context-driven, and industry-aligned architectures tailored to each ecosystem’s pulse.
Whether the organization deals in data-heavy analytics, remote collaboration, or hybrid infrastructure, its security needs are unique—and EDSPL treats them that way.
Decoding Attacks Before They’re Even Launched
Modern adversaries aren’t just coders—they’re strategists. They study networks, mimic trusted behaviors, and exploit unnoticed entry points.
EDSPL’s threat intelligence systems decode attacker motives, monitor dark web activity, and identify evolving tactics before they manifest. From ransomware kits in forums to zero-day exploit chatter, defense begins at reconnaissance.
Unseen Doesn’t Mean Untouched: Internal Risks are Real
While most solutions focus on external invaders, internal risks are often more dangerous. Malicious insiders, negligence, or misconfigurations can compromise years of investment.
Through access control models, least-privilege enforcement, and contextual identity validation, EDSPL ensures that trust isn’t blind—it’s earned at every interaction.
Monitoring That Sees the Forest and Every Leaf
Log dumps don’t equal visibility. Alerts without insight are noise. EDSPL's Security Operations Center (SOC) is built not just to watch, but to understand.
By combining SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response), and XDR (Extended Detection and Response), the system provides cohesive threat narratives. This means quicker decision-making, sharper resolution, and lower false positives.
Vulnerability Testing That Doesn’t Wait for Schedules
Penetration testing once a year? Too slow. Automated scans every month? Too shallow.
EDSPL uses continuous breach simulation, adversary emulation, and multi-layered red teaming to stress-test defenses constantly. If something fails, it’s discovered internally—before anyone else does.
Compliance That Drives Confidence, Not Just Certification
Security isn’t about ticking boxes—it’s about building confidence with customers, partners, and regulators.
Whether it’s GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or industry-specific regulations, EDSPL ensures compliance isn’t reactive. Instead, it’s integrated into every workflow, providing not just legal assurance but brand credibility.
Future-Proofing Through Innovation
Cyber threats don’t rest—and neither does EDSPL.
AI-assisted defense orchestration,
Machine learning-driven anomaly detection,
Quantum-resilient encryption exploration,
Zero Trust architecture implementations,
Cloud-native protection layers (CNAPP),
...are just some innovations currently under development to ensure readiness for challenges yet to come.
Case Study Snapshot: Retail Chain Averted Breach Disaster
A retail enterprise with 200+ outlets reported unusual POS behavior. EDSPL’s pre-deployment monitoring had already detected policy violations at a firmware level. Within hours, code rollback and segmentation stopped a massive compromise.
Customer data remained untouched. Business continued. Brand reputation stayed intact. All because the breach was prevented—before the firewall even came into play.
Zero Trust, Infinite Confidence
No trust is assumed. Every action is verified. Each access request is evaluated in real time. EDSPL implements Zero Trust frameworks not as checklists but as dynamic, evolving ecosystems.
Even internal traffic is interrogated. This approach nullifies lateral movement, halting attackers even if one layer falls.
From Insight to Foresight: Bridging Business and Security
Business leaders often struggle to relate risk to revenue. EDSPL translates vulnerabilities into KPIs, ensuring boardrooms understand what's at stake—and how it's being protected.
Dashboards show more than threats—they show impact, trends, and value creation. This ensures security is not just a cost center but a driver of operational resilience.
Clients Choose EDSPL Because Trust Is Earned
Large manufacturers, healthtech firms, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure providers place their trust in EDSPL—not because of marketing, but because of performance.
Testimonials praise responsiveness, adaptability, and strategic alignment. Long-term partnerships prove that EDSPL delivers not just technology, but transformation.

The Fintech Takeover? How Investment Banking Is Embracing Innovation
Once viewed as two competing forces—one steeped in tradition, the other driven by innovation—investment banking and fintech are now converging to reshape the financial ecosystem. While fintech startups initially aimed to disrupt established players, the evolving narrative today is one of collaboration, not competition.
From blockchain-powered settlements to AI-driven due diligence, these synergies are redefining how deals are structured, executed, and analyzed. For aspiring finance professionals, understanding this transformation is not optional—it’s essential. Enrolling in an investment banking course in Hyderabad that incorporates fintech trends can be the first step to staying future-ready.
From Disruption to Collaboration: A New Era in Finance
In the early 2010s, fintech startups emerged with a mission to disrupt traditional finance. Peer-to-peer lending platforms, robo-advisors, neobanks, and blockchain apps quickly gained popularity by offering speed, transparency, and customer-centric solutions. Meanwhile, investment banks, known for their legacy systems and slow tech adoption, appeared vulnerable.
However, rather than fading into irrelevance, leading investment banks began partnering with fintechs, investing in innovation, and launching their own in-house tech incubators. The result? A powerful new hybrid model where banks leverage fintech agility, and fintechs gain access to infrastructure, clients, and regulatory expertise.
Key Collaborative Models Redefining Investment Banking

India is one of the fastest-growing fintech markets in the world, and Hyderabad is emerging as a fintech and banking hub alongside Mumbai and Bangalore. With initiatives like the Telangana Fintech Forum and T-Hub, Hyderabad is nurturing a collaborative environment between startups and financial institutions.
Several Hyderabad-based startups are now working with banks and NBFCs to build solutions for underwriting, financial inclusion, algorithmic trading, and even ESG investing.
Professionals in Hyderabad are uniquely positioned to tap into this growth. Enrolling in an investment banking course in Hyderabad that integrates fintech concepts is a strategic way to align your career with where the industry is headed.
What Does This Mean for Aspiring Investment Bankers?
The definition of a “banker” is rapidly changing. While financial modeling and valuation remain foundational, the next generation of investment bankers is expected to:
Understand AI and blockchain fundamentals
Interpret data from fintech dashboards
Work cross-functionally with product and tech teams
Advise on tech-driven M&A and IPO strategies
If you’re a student or professional in finance, now is the time to future-proof your skills. A traditional MBA might not be enough—you need exposure to how fintech is integrated into investment banking operations.
Why Choose an Investment Banking Course in Hyderabad?
Given the city's rapid rise as a fintech and tech hub, Hyderabad offers the perfect ecosystem for aspiring bankers to learn and grow.
Look for a course that provides:
Fintech Modules – Covers robo-advisory, blockchain, AI, and regtech.
Hands-On Tools – Exposure to Bloomberg Terminal, Python, Power BI, etc.
Industry Projects – Collaborations with startups or financial institutions on real-world problems.
Placement Network – Strong ties with banks, VC firms, and fintechs in Hyderabad and beyond.
One such program is offered by the Boston Institute of Analytics, which combines traditional financial acumen with cutting-edge technology. This investment banking course in Hyderabad prepares you not just for today’s roles, but for the tech-driven future of finance.
Final Thoughts: Collaboration Is the New Innovation
The narrative has shifted. Fintech is not here to replace investment banking—it’s here to redefine and enhance it. The most successful professionals will be those who understand both worlds and know how to bridge the gap.
For banks, collaborating with fintechs means evolving faster and serving clients better. For fintechs, aligning with banks offers scale, stability, and credibility. And for professionals and students, this hybrid world is an invitation to become part of something transformational.
If you’re serious about breaking into this exciting, tech-infused domain, investing in an investment banking course in Hyderabad could be your gateway to becoming the next-generation dealmak

New Hybrid Integration: IBM WebMethods With Agentic AI
Tumblr media
Agency AI-era hybrid integration with IBM webMethods.
WebMethods hybrid integration
Today at IBM Think 2025, IBM introduced IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration, which reimagines integration for the AI era by offering a uniform experience across all integration situations.
Combining AI, APIs, apps, events, files, B2B/EDI, and mainframe data essential to today's businesses can boost productivity.
Even while AI helps them find new value, companies that connect their systems, data, people, and processes will have a technical edge. Integration is necessary for AI, which might enhance partners and clients. General release is mid-June 2025.
A coherent integration technique to boost production
Due to fast change, business imperatives to extract value from AI, the growth of APIs, Kafka, and integrations, and constant digital transformation, companies have greater tech stack requirements than ever before. Due to the complexity of these needs, most tech stacks cannot become AI-ready for innovation.
IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration creates, deploys, manages, and monitors integration patterns in on-premises and multicloud settings. Integrates IBM's top integration capabilities into one pane. It uses IBM Watsonx to leverage AI agents or mainframe data to speed B2B data exchange and connect current investments to next-generation integration technologies.
IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration uses a hybrid control plane and shared tools and assets to enable rapid response across distant settings. Centralised management speeds up operations and troubleshooting for overworked IT personnel.
By using several integration patterns and deployments, users may monitor their integration estate end-to-end. Centralising authentication, security, compliance, and governance may help customers increase productivity and establish a flexible company.
Using agentic AI for all corporate operations
To regard AI as a fundamental transformation in corporate integration at every level of the development lifecycle, not an addition. This version of IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration improves integration use cases and line-of-business and specialised user productivity using agentic AI. This also helps organisations prepare for AI faster by laying the framework for MCP and ACP.
Integration Agent
The Integration Agent integrates language-based SDKs, APIs, and events automatically using IBM Watsonx AI, boosting productivity. Agentic features let developers and non-technical people build, test, implement, and monitor complex integrations.
API Agent
Using advanced agentic AI, the API Agent can plan and execute API administration activities like these.
Finding pre-existing APIs using natural language input and removing duplication to speed development.
Writing API specs and backend code in natural language supports code-first and design-first techniques and helps with mistake correction and documentation.
Rulesets help API governance by validating specs and ensuring APIs follow policies and best practices.
Build and run test cases automatically to increase API quality.
AI Gateway
The AI Gateway tracks token consumption, sets quotas to avoid overspend, and caches replies to save tokens on recurring requests. It provides insight and control over AI services and a single place to conduct AI interactions. The AI Gateway's features can speed your AI journey:
Self-service registration speeds AI API developer deployment for internal teams.
Token-based rate limit and response caching rules.
Dashboards showing multiple provider and model use.
Fast, flexible B2B partner integration
Because trade partner ecosystems are crucial, IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration includes excellent B2B integration. Self-service management and onboarding streamlines partner involvement and often simplifies exchanges.
IBM Sterling B2B Integration VAN uses IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration to immediately link organisations to over 3.1 million trading partners. Automating critical activities and improving firm data exchange are possible. When combined with application integration, this strives for seamless process automation between internal and external systems.
Incorporated business agility into stack
Tomorrow's software stack will be built on intelligent, scalable, and dynamic integrations that rapidly adapt to business needs. Event-driven architecture and API-driven automation are vital in the "Now Economy," where organisations must respond to real-time data to improve consumer experiences and simplify operations to beat competitors. Modern integration methods require event-driven architecture to replace static routines. This enables real-time business across legacy and modern platforms.
Event Endpoint Management streamlines event integration by letting authorised users find and consume events and controlling event sources like APIs to reuse them across the company. It supports Kafka Protocol brokers and implementations.
API-driven composability lets architects develop flexible, reusable, and scalable integrations by stacking APIs like bricks. Asset reuse and modularity accelerate business requirements' time to market.
From mainframe to modern pricing and packaging, ROI optimisation
IBM has pioneered corporate integration, which changes continually, since its beginnings. It recognises the client's large mainframe and other technology investments and the rising desire for consumption-based pricing. IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration extends these investments to clients that wish to change their operational, pricing, and technology stacks.
Accessing mainframe data and services: IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration lets integration developers exploit mainframes' incredible data.
IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration offers transaction-based consumption pricing for cost control. Customers may pay for what they use and adjust their integration use according to their needs with predictable yet flexible pricing.
Prepare your AI foundation for the future
IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration supports enterprise integration by providing technology and a tactical edge to overcome modern integration difficulties, enhance agility, and inspire innovation.
Will you extend your investments, integrate them with AI, and boost growth? On June 16, 2025, IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration will be available.
