If I could be arsed to learn how to edit videos and had some kind of mic, I would 110% make a two part video essay series on the politics of Jurassic World because MY GOD, there's so much to dissect.
The first part would be about how the park is the epitome of neoliberal futurism for techbros, including the way the park so easily falls apart though I doubt that aspect is purposeful. Everything is aesthetic first and function second, and we can't possibly use any of the reliable infrastructure we've already come up with because a train is not gonna get us to Mars, but a monorail might.
And the second would be about the buckwild terrible gender politics going on. The movie is deeply unsympathetic to Claire seemingly because she's a woman who prioritised her career as it's both centre to her character arc and also an inciting event of one of the plots. Not to mention the whole Zara thing or the Owen and Claire thing or the stupid "him, I meant him, line. The movie is rife with misogyny, but it feels like that specific misogyny was isekaied over from backlash to second wave feminism.
I could talk about it all for so long because in a way, it feels like a perfect time capsule for 2015. Back when people took Claire running in heels to be this feminist statement to be made fun of and not just a deeply misogynistic movie trying to sell you feminism. And back when Elon Musk managed to get away with his "I'm the real life Iron Man" shit, and people believed he was smart and all his plans would come to fruition. 2015 was a great time to be a tech bro in Silicon Valley with people just throwing money at all your fake promises.
Yeah. See. This is what I mean when I say I could talk about it forever.
#kai rambles#jurassic world#one of the reasons why this has ended up one of my favourite movies is because it kinda got rounded up and out as a big dumb action film#but like.#look at elon's robovan or libertarian sea pods or the hyperloop or the straddling bus or the vegas sphere#then look at jurassic world#and tell me all these stupid dumb ideas and constructions wouldnt fit in perfectly in jurassic world#and that the really dumb way of thinking that creates those concepts wouldnt be the kind that gives you ''lets make a new dinosaur''#tell me this movie doesnt perfectly encapsulate that way of thinking#including the lack of redundancies and procedures and the complete lack of guard rails and the way it just falls apart#i dont think it was on purpose#i don't think the movie is clever enough for it to be satirising tech bro led neoliberal futurism#because those are two long words that many people dont know the meaning of because they didnt take sociology at some point#but it is a decent satire of it#meanwhile its gender politics are in a dire situation#and i also dont think that's necessarily purposeful?#i think maybe the character of claire began as the hollywood cardboard cutout of a Feminist™#and then since they were copying the first film so much they decided they needed to have kid characters running around and a family plot#and then also they were like well obviously we need a romance arc because thats how these movies work#and so they gave claire the opposite traits of owen because opposites attract#and then oops this character is a deeply misogynistic caricature of a woman#and we really dont have many other women in this cast who do much so you know.#its just. theres so much#guys there's so much

The year is 2073. After the nuclear winter following the collapse of the american empire and the mining of the pacific in the ensuing Dog War, Alaska has been cut off from all civilization. Left only with the Free State of Yu-Columbia as a connection to the outside world, the situation has degraded. With the self driving car network down and the proposed Hyperloop 2 never having been started, no conventional transportation can be used to reach Nome once the snow falls. And diphtheria has reared its head once more.
Unfortunately the husky was a casualty of the collapse- the mushers have been forced to turn to alternative means. Means that take the form of genetically modified puppygirls.
Stepping into the kennel, you toss them a handful of estrogen gummies laced with cottage industry methylfenidate. Performance enhancers might be illegal during a normal race, but they'll need the hormones over the coming weeks. This isn't a drill, and Nome depends on you.

I feel a little bad for Tesla owners, tbh, the ones who've had the cars for years I mean. I mean, I have hated that man for years and heard all about him allegedly charging people for two cars when they bought one to artificially bump up his sales numbers, and having horrible working conditions, and basically fucking over an entire town in Texas, and doing his fakey "grand idea" thing like the Hyperloop whenever he wants to distract people from something to get his way, so I do think those people should have done more research. But none of that matters now anyway. If he buys this election, people are going to be mad.
So maybe sell your Tesla while you still can. Trade it in for a better electric car that doesn't blow up or trap you inside or which can be more easily repaired (and insured).
You know who is buying Teslers right now? Outright Nazis and wannabe stockbroker types who think crypto is awesome. You don't want to be in that group.
The funny part is, he is (allegedly) trying to buy this election because Wisconsin passed a law that he felt hurt Tesla... but Tesla is hurting anyway, buddy, and I honestly do not believe it is recoverable. Even if he persuades Republicans to buy a bunch of cybertrucks for the government (stopping waste and fraud and corruption like he says he is lolololol), even if he moves more of his digital assets around like a true broke bitch, even if he gets Hasbeen Kardashian to pose sexily on his cars.... he has tied the brand to his name, and people HATE him. The brand itself is over. It has lost whatever cool it had, and other EVs are doing better (and actually were doing better by the end of last year anyway) and are more innovative.
And I know this because Forbes, which is a conservative financial media company, keeps publishing shit about he has competition and nothing to offer, and saying they are looking to BYD and other EV makers. Which is the Forbes way of saying do not invest in Tesla.
(Sidenote: I think youtube is the current target for bots supporting Musk. there are suddenly comments everywhere on like, MSNBC videos and we all know Fox News people do not watch MSNBC. Some people have to pay for friends and babies and supporters, I guess. Sad)

i played some 'tavern master' and it really makes me think about how the vast majority of 'sim' games are just logistics simulators. this is a game about how to structure your tavern throughput to get your waitresses to efficiently take orders & bus tables. it's entirely about 'last mile' distribution of beverages and food. this makes how it totally doesn't care about anything before the last mile. click on a barrel and click 'refill' to instantly refill a barrel at any time. ditto with food supplies. but maybe the devs don't realize the game is all about waitress logistics because there's not actually any way to assign them to specific zones
when i was playing per aspera it was likewise very funny that a game all about constructing mines on mars didn't have any kind of dedicated shipment infrastructure. sorry, you can't make a train. it all has to be ad-hoc rover drone networks. you can make a 'hyperloop', though.
the source of the humor here is that... in real life so much of everything is logistics. empires have risen and fallen based on their ability to move things around. moving things from place to place is like 80% of all economic activity. i mean, i guess nearly 100% if you factor in how you can't really do anything with anything unless you have it, physically. video games are traditionally not very good at logistics mechanics unless they really wanna commit and be A Game About Logistics Management, because there's not really a lot of ways to high-fantasy up grain transport or w/e. (and the games that are all about logistics, like, transport tycoon or w/e, are usually still using very gamified mechanics like "you get paid more the quicker your deliveries are", which maybe makes sense for like, produce, but less sense for like, iron ore)
this was also kinda a big issue with uhhh endzone. that was a game where it was very easy for your logistics systems to collapse under their own weight. it's a very common failure mode in a lot of games: you get some bottleneck that doesn't get resolved and you don't realize until your entire manufacturing web collapses, and that's partially player error but also partially the game maybe not fully realizing how critical logistics management is to the game & giving the player tools to control that with the necessary fidelity over large systems

While in London we saw a bus labeled "hyperloop to white city" and that just. Entered Alfie's lexicon unfortunately and they've started saying it randomly
Which means, regrettably, so have I

Yooo, Jonathan. I watched this video where a Hyperloop was working perfectly fine and people were laughing, screaming in joy, when suddenly the power went out and all those screams turned to horror and fear.
I thought of you for some reason, I dunno. Maybe you'd like it or somethin'
Hm, that does sound enticing. I mean...frightening..for the parties involved...

believe it or not some people cant afford cars. seriously, trying to say ppl in poverty or disabled online are lying because???? i dont know what the fuck you were thinking
Hi! That's not what I said! I said a car is not something that makes you rich! 60k is not a rich person car! Just because you have it worse, does not mean that everyone else is rich! This is the line of thought unfortunately what causes class infighting
It is not your neighbors fault you are disabled and in poverty. That doesn't make someone working for 12 dollars an hour rich, nor the person making 15, 20, 40, even 50. These people are all 1 step away from being just like you. Sometimes it takes them a couple months or years as treatments eat up their savings. But they're not your enemy.
Look at the CEO, look at the stockholders holding 20% of a company urging for higher profits, look at the billionaires buying their way into companies and ruining YOUR infrastructure on purpose (Elon Musk is a huge one - California should know what im talking about, just look at Boeing and their safety, AI startups and attempting to release it as a commercial replacement for artists).
These people are blood clots upon the economy, sucking up wealth in singular areas, and not allowing communities to improve while divising ways to further isolate you. California was supposed to have a high speed railway - Elon Musk literally stopped it for his Hyperloop, which will never be completed. The same thing is now occurring in Las Vegas as SEVERAL train ways attempt to make a high-speed railway here. Further isolating people from the hope of moving from here after they gamble away their life after having some medication, or some crisis, or something.
And the worst part is that this is how capitalism at core is designed, and cannot be stopped without either 1) A cap on income or capital or 2) Severe heavy taxing for the ultra wealthy - flat tax no loopholes. It's designed for infinite growth, which in a post industrial society where people don't really like having many kids - we now reach our pop flatline (and I'm doing my part, I don't want kids at all really)... and that means infinite growth just simply cannot happen. At maximum efficiency infinite growth doesn't work.
And this is not just happening in my country, this is happening in Europe, some middle eastern countries that have adopted capitalism, idk about Canada - I'm sorry Canadians I don't pay enough attention to you other than your apparent similar targeting of natives.
So look out for people who want to target that, even locally. One state adopted a tax on millionaires, people making over a million a year, and raked in revenue beyond belief. The goal is to get people in there with the mindset of "fix the cause, not the symptom" and have people use that tax to not fund the fucking cops but instead education programs for free to create more social workers, more nurses, more teachers, and eliminate the debt people have to go into to START a job. Maybe even stipend people as they go through education, pay people to fill in gaps. We literally have a plane pilot shortage because you have to go almost a 100k into debt to just start if you don't have the money to build up hours. Free food programs, free medical care, free anything to survive.
Or you could make a bigger splash like the fellow in New York but for legal reasons I'm not advising or instructing anyone to do any such thing ever. I totally do not agree with praxis, or something like that.
Anyway the solution starts not at wanting your neighbors blood, but at everyone trying to share their blood - and hope that others share back. And ends with elimination of blood clots upon our body, so that we may free up more blood for everyone to share.
#politics#ill tag this one because its heavy#but its a tenant of my beliefs#we play this game - in order to create a better one - and any one of us can run as a player in this game#i may - one day - intend to do such... but i need a few more steps before i can do something

Wooo! Geography and sustainability and stuff and stuff
When, in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one student to take upon themselves the burden of writing a very long (not really all that) academic post on a website they barely know how to use because said website was recommended to them by their actual genuine university as a blog website for an assignment.
And then said student forgets to do the assignment, falls deliriously ill, and is now finally getting round to it hilariously late and because all of their other assignments seem so, so much more difficult and mentally strenuous to do on a day where they really do not want to have to deal with that.
So, here we are. A comically large wall of poorly grammatically structured text, talking about (drumroll please) geography! More specifically "Human" geography, or Urban Geography or whatever you want to call it. It's my chosen field of study (despite my best judgement) and I've been tasked by the powers that be, to create a blog to inform and educate the nebulously defined general public about ~exciting~ developments and "Gamechanging innovations" Now, to tell the truth, this was not a particularly easy thing for me to do, because quite frankly my chosen field of study isn't really one of those ones you'd associate with constant innovation and invention, at least in my mind, but thankfully the university provided a long list of various subjects we could look at and study and then report back unto you (the reader, stand in for the entire rest of the world) about.
Small issue there, was the vast vast majority of what we were offered as potential "Gamechanging innovations" either drove me to madness with boredom, or absolutely did not seem like they were exactly "Gamechanging" (could be worse, one of the ideas offered to another discipline was the hyperloop, which is quite frankly a stupid idea that is dead in the water and could have just been normal highspeed rail)
Take, for instance, "Autonomous vehicles". Yeah. Now, suffice to say there is issues with the concept of self driving vehicles, mostly about how the technology is not exactly safe right now, and well, that's just the start of the rabbit hole there. (and really, just build a train, tram or other preferred method of public transport)
There was another one, which look promising to my untrained eye, namely "The Internet of things" which I had no idea what it was, so doing what any self respecting academic in-training would do, I googled it. Apparently, the "Internet of Things" is the catch-all term for devices that exchange and communicate data over the internet.
I'm no expert, but at an initial reading, that did just seem to be most things these days, and was hardly groundbreaking or new, so I dug a bit deeper into the scholarly side of the ole internet for some answers. Thankfully, I found a very helpful little paper (linked here) which clarified, and I quote:
"The term Internet of Things generally refers to scenarios where network connectivity and computing capability extends to objects, sensors and everyday items not normally considered computers, allowing these devices to generate, exchange and consume data with minimal human intervention. There is, however, no single, universal definition."
So it's the smart fridges, the fancy new cars and all of that lovely stuff, which buzz all of their data and such onto other devices on the internet. Now, of course my immediate thought was that it means my everything is now spying on me, but I was quickly relieved to remember that that changes effectively nothing as I do in fact own a phone which already does that.
The main benefit that seems to be proposed by this is the fact that all of this data allows rather effective monitoring of things like emissions and water quality and power usage and potentially good ole agriculture and so on and so forth, which, yeah, I can see the uses, maybe, but I can also see the glaring potential privacy, legal and potential tech issues.
A lot of people may not like their cars telling some company about where they've been all the time, and how much gas they've used. That's fair and understandable. Not to mention, the data gathered could be wrong, or otherwise rendered useless, effectively poisoning the data-well if enough things go wrong, or are just falsely reported to the public.
(It's at this point that I realise, I don't exactly know if this is quite what the uni wanted me to write, but hey, at least it's honest)
Anyway, I've overstayed my welcome in rambling about all of these things, and will be back (later) to complain/ do my assignment more, have a lovely day and remember that if you ever think about revolutionizing public transport, ask yourself if a bus or train would do the same thing, better.
#geography#human geography#academic assignments#Lot of words that don't say much#what does game changing even mean anyway?#sustainability#how do you use tumblr#I can't believe my uni told me to use this website#longish post#grammar is not my strong suit#how many tags do you add anyway

The Doge Pound: Billionaire Bodies Unleashed
The golden chandeliers of Mar-a-Lago flickered dimly, their glow barely penetrating the thick, musky haze of fast-food grease that clung to the air. Donald "The Girth" Trump reclined on an overstuffed velvet couch, his doughy body spilling over the sides like an overproofed lump of sourdough. His skin, a suspicious hue of spray-tanned sunset, shimmered with a thin sheen of what could only be described as KFC-sweat.
Across the room, Elon "The Flaccid Visionary" Musk stood, his blubbery jowls quivering with anticipation. His pale, clammy flesh hung off him like an overcooked dumpling, and his lifeless hair, the color of expired mayonnaise, curled limply over his vast, oddly square forehead. He had been working on something—something big.
Or rather, something small and utterly disappointing.
“I have engineered the most innovative coital trajectory known to mankind,” Elon purred, his South African accent warbling strangely as his weak chin disappeared into his neck rolls. “A fusion of hyperloop thrust mechanics and Dogecoin-inspired elasticity.”
Trump licked his lips—or at least, tried to. His tongue, thick like an aged slab of ham, struggled to navigate the folds of his own sagging face. His stubby fingers, greasy and adorned with the faint scent of stale McDonald’s fries, waggled invitingly.
“Listen, kid,” Trump said, his voice a moist, phlegmy whisper, “you and I? We got the best bodies. I mean, nobody’s ever seen bodies like ours. People are saying they’re tremendous. Just tremendous.”
Elon nodded sagely, his small, lifeless eyes—like a fish left too long in a supermarket freezer— glistening with unnatural excitement. “Yes,” he muttered. “The optimal blubber ratio for aerodynamic friction reduction.”
And then, with the force of a lumbering walrus rolling onto a sinking ice floe, Trump threw himself onto the bed, sending a cascade of loose skin and damp, fleshy folds rippling down his gelatinous form. Elon, ever the innovator, attempted a self-propelled levitation maneuver—but his weak, spindly legs buckled beneath his own wealth-weighted frame, and he collapsed onto Trump’s vast expanse like a failed SpaceX launch.
They oozed together, an unholy symphony of squelches, wheezes, and the tragic, defeated sigh of bed springs.
Trump grunted, attempting to lift his surprisingly heavy micro-appendage, which was about as functional as a broken elevator in a condemned casino. Musk, never one to back down from a technological challenge, reached into his pocket and pulled out a prototype Tesla-branded marital aid—a sleek, soulless contraption that promptly short-circuited upon contact with Trump's damp, overworked thigh.
For a moment, there was silence. Then, a single tear slipped down Elon's meaty, flaccid cheek. "I was going to take us to Mars," he whimpered.
Trump, his old-man blubber quaking with labored breathing, patted him weakly. “Mars is for losers. We’re already out of this world.”
And as their vast, sweaty masses congealed into a singular, disturbing entity of power and flesh, the night dissolved into a haze of rancid cologne, cold hamburgers, and the ever-present hum of deep, existential regret.

From 2025 until 2045: 20-years. Fun Fact: The Future of Transportation Between France and the Mudug Region of Somalia
From 2025 to 2045, the Somali Monarchy will reside in the Alsace region of France. During this period, significant developments will take place, particularly in the Mudug region of Somalia. Here’s an overview of the key points regarding this exciting future transportation project:
Reconstruction of the Mudug Region:
The Mudug region will undergo extensive reconstruction efforts aimed at revitalizing the area. This initiative will focus on infrastructure, housing, and essential services, ensuring that the region is well-prepared for the future.
The Hyperloop Project:
A groundbreaking project is set to take place: the construction of a Hyperloop tunnel connecting the Mudug region to Marseille, France. Spearheaded by visionary entrepreneur Elon Musk, this ambitious venture will revolutionize travel between these two locations.
The construction phase of the Hyperloop project will span 20 years, from 2025 until its anticipated completion in 2045. This timeline reflects the complexity of such a cutting-edge transportation system, which requires careful planning, engineering, and execution.
Traveling by Hyperloop:
Once the Hyperloop project is completed in 2045, the Somali Royal Family plans to utilize this state-of-the-art transportation system to travel from Alsace to the Mudug region. They will first take a train to Marseille, where they will board a Hyperloop pod for the remainder of their journey.
The projected travel time from Marseille to the Mudug region via Hyperloop is approximately 5.5 hours. This dramatic reduction in travel time compared to traditional methods promises to make the journey both efficient and exhilarating.
Comparison with Other Travel Methods:
For context, a direct flight from Marseille to the Mudug region typically takes between 10 to 15 hours or more, factoring in possible layovers and flight schedules. This means that traveling via Hyperloop will significantly shorten the journey.
Additionally, maritime travel presents an even longer timeframe, with cargo ships requiring about 12 to 15 days to complete the trip. Smaller passenger ferries or yachts may take even longer, often extending to several weeks.
Revolutionizing Transportation:
The completion of the Hyperloop will mark a revolutionary shift in transportation between France and the Mudug region of Somalia. By providing a fast, efficient, and modern means of travel, the Hyperloop will foster closer connections, enhance economic ties, and facilitate cultural exchange between these regions.
This advancement in transportation technology not only reflects the innovative spirit of our time but also represents a commitment to building bridges—literally and metaphorically—between diverse cultures and communities.
In summary, the future of transportation between Marseille and the Mudug region is poised for transformation. With the anticipated completion of the Hyperloop in 2045, the Somali Royal Family will enjoy a rapid and exciting journey, showcasing the potential for technological advancements to reshape our world.

Elon Musk
I've posted something like this before but someone asked me my opinion on Musk.
I hate him for so many reasons.
He is a liar, con man, rich kid, egomaniac, parasite, and more.
His words contradict his actions.
He says he wants all subsidies ended but every single one of his businesses relies on subsidies.
he claims to "know more about manufacturing than anyone else on Earth." Yet his cars are fucking dogshit and very expensive.
While being "pro free speech" on twitter he censors those who mock/criticize him like a child. Also twitter is bleeding money and will eventually go bankrupt. what good is a platform where the speech is lost after just a few year when the servers shut down?
Elon has tweeted about western/Christian/family values but he has had like 6 (7?) wives. can he not manage to keep one?
Tesla had a reasonable stock value before he started to hype it up to unreasonable levels. This has already had a negative effect on so many people' retirement funds. This false hype actually got him banned from serving on the board for a few years. it needs to be permanent. but if that happens Teslas stock will collapse to $35/share or less where it belongs. This will be even more devastating for people's retirement funds.
Its NOT a tech company. Its a fucking car company with NOTHING special about it. Well, with ONE exception and I will grant them this. Theya r ethe only electric car company that makes money. But with recent releases about how it might be some kind of Enron-esque fraud I won't hold my breath. For the sake of everyone invested in tesla and even my own 401k that I don't manage and has tesla shares in it I hope its not true.
He keeps selling Tesla shares driving the price down to fund Twitter. Which is perfectly fine but its not sustainable.
He was forced to quit Paypal. He was fired. He had a golden parachute. All his other money comes from government subsidies and greater fools (investors). All of his "not worth" is in Tesla and now Twitter is tied to that value. When either fail/collapse the other will too.
He is an idiot who has never invented anything. Hyperloop is a scam. if you mention it I will beat you with a brick. Even the greatest achievement of SpaceX, the Merlin engine, wasn't their invention (when I say "their" I mean SpaceX engineers, not Musk). NASA commissioned JPL to make a cheap engine. They did. NASA asked the industry who wants it? and they all said "lol, lmao even". And now we see that the merlin was bad and thats why they changed the engine a LOT. It no longer has an ablative nozzle. its vastly simplified. I'm not knocking the immense amount of work the engineers put into making the engines and integrating them but the base design was not sued by other companies for a reason. Their improvement are impressive. The cost per unit is impressive... if its true. When you look at the money we know of that has gone into SpaceX its hard to actually say. Without financial records we may never know. Space is a highly subsidized industry for a reason and I don't think we should stop. But Musk wants the subsidies stopped so he shouldn't get any contracts.
The company that made the giant injection molding machine Tesla now sues for Model 3's invented it and patented it. Tesla do not own it. They did not design it. And Musk sure as fuck had nothing to do with it.
Failure #42069: Cybertruck
he engages in union busting. he fails to pay people's overtime. that sounds like good Christian values to me
I personally know someone that worked at the first gigafactory and they were fired for talking to Musk. Now to be fair they were all told not to talk to him. This is called "victimization" and its an illegal part of a hostile work environment. But its a part of his FAKE "autistic" persona he created to appeal to redditors. There are plenty of leaked emails and old interviews from the paypal days to show what he is really like. I believe there is even an interview with one of his families where they say this. Also his fake oersona even has a fake backstory. He comes from Old Money. He acts like he was picking himself up from his bootstraps like he didn't have huge investments from his family. I won't blame elon for his father's crimes against humanity.
Solar City. His cousins failing solar company that he bought with Tesla money that was not his. He paid out his family huge sums. Tesla shareholders got fucked, raw. And then the solar shingles fraud which went to court and was found to be fraud.
why is this man not in jail?
I do not believe that he is for free speech or western values or traditional values or anything except Elon. Elon is for Elon. More money for Elon? Yes. Less money for Elon? No.
Selling cars is his business. His scams like the Vegas Loop or hyperloop or whatever its called these days are just that, scams. They have no potential to "solve the god damn traffic problem" as he claims. they are there to prop up stock value, get attention, and draw money away from real transit projects.
He says he hates regulations and red tape but he is responsible for quite a bit of red tape. For example, energy storage. California are idiots that import coal power from Arizona but they don't want any dirty pwoer in tehri state so they installed battery storage systems. Okay well batteries actually let them store renewable energy so thats good. Well there were almost no regulations on such systems. That is until Musk revolutionized the industry. Several people died as a result of battery fires from the MegaPack energy storage systems from Tesla. So, in response California added a bunch of new laws regulating energy storage systems. these laws are making their way into building codes across the world. If they had just made safer systems like every other manufacturer we wouldn't have these laws.
318 fires vs 25 fires per 100,000 cars sold. Tesla is the big number and Nissan is the small number for EV fires. this is not a fair comparison. The leaf has a much smaller battery. Fire fighters have had to add lithium extinguishing foam to trucks because of Tesla. But that was probably inevitable.
Optimus is a scam. Robotaxis are such a scam I can't believe that all the Model 3 buyers haven't asked for a refund. Neuralink is not a scam but is in its infancy and is jsut meant for the disabled. its meant to reconnect nerves. He is WAY overhyping what it might do at this point.
He doesn't treat people's lives with respect. He sent ghetto CPAP machines to hospitals that needed respirators during covid. He may have slowed down the rescue of those miners in Chile by saying he would save them. He called the british hero who did save them a pedo and he was not. He threatened Buzzfeed to remove articles critical of him (which they did). So he is abusing the court system. Again great traditional western values. Picking on those under you.
In 2019 Musk supported Andrew yang for president and said universal basic income was "obviously needed" which sounds like some kind of government subsidy but really its just him saying whatever he thinks will get him what he wants.
He's not a man of principles. He is a man of money.
I could go on but I won't. For now.

What are the potential implications of Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire by 2027?
If Elon Musk becomes the world's first trillionaire by 2027, the potential implications could be significant and multifaceted, impacting various sectors and society as a whole:
1.Wealth Inequality: As the enormous gap between billionaires and the general public widens, Musk's unparalleled riches may heighten the conversation on wealth disparity. Increased calls for tax reform and wealth redistribution may result from this.
2. Impact on Markets: Musk would have a significant impact on investor mood and financial markets as a trillionaire. His choices and remarks in public may have even more of an impact on stock values and the worth of the businesses he works with, especially SpaceX and Tesla.
3. Investment in Innovation: Musk's fortune may allow him to make even larger investments in bold ventures like space exploration, renewable energy, and transportation systems (like the Hyperloop). This might spur the development of new sectors and speed up technical developments.

Explore the captivating universe of contemporary acousmatic music and delve deeply into the realms of electronic sound experimentation surrounding the concept of hyperobjects. In a captivating blend of art, science, and technology, the event presented by Absonus Lab – Sound Research, Technology, and Culture in collaboration with the Porto Planetarium – Centro Ciência Viva promises two nights of sensory immersion.
At the heart of the conceptual discourse of this event lies the intriguing concept of hyperobjects. These entities challenge conventional boundaries of time and space, existing on a scale that surpasses human comprehension. Hyperobjects encompass far-reaching phenomena such as climate change and ecological crises, transcending immediate human experience. Their distributed presence poses challenges to the perception and understanding of their full nature, raising profound questions about the nature of existence. On the other hand, acousmatic music emerges as an exploration of hidden sound sources, focusing on sound detached from its visible origin. It is a form of artistic expression that fits perfectly into the exploration of hyperobject concepts, as it shares characteristics of non-locality, temporal proliferation, interobjectivity, and phased causality.
In acousmatic music, sounds are disconnected from their visual sources, allowing the listener to be immersed in an abstract sonic environment without a specific location. The compositions presented at this event enable listeners to embark on a sonic journey devoid of imagery, revealing the full potential of auditory perception in stimulating imagination and interpreting the concept of hyperobject. Interweaving creative and enigmatic expressions, the event seeks to reveal new sensory and intellectual dimensions about the limits of our apprehension of the world.
At this event, artists not only present their compositions but also offer their personal interpretations of the concepts of hyperobject. Their sounds serve as portals to unravel the mysteries of the universe, revealing new layers of meaning, encouraging everyone to ponder the beauty, cacophony, and complexity of the world that surrounds us.
Experience the works of established and emerging composers reproduced through an eight-channel audio system, transporting you to an immersive universe of sound.
