i think i'm gonna dive into yet another hobby.. sewing

i used to sew when i was a teenager.. like a lot. i took sewing classes in high school and i made shirts, dresses, pj pants, and even fancy curtains for my room. i miss sewing a lot but always told myself i didn't have room to sew in this tiny apartment

and idk, i think i could make room now. i have a big desk, and a 6 foot folding card table i could pull out and use. i miss being able to alter clothes if i wanted. and make stuff from scratch. and i think it would pair well with my crochet stuff, like i could make liners for bags i crochet and stuff like that.

i'm currently trying to decide what sewing machine to get. they've got computerized ones now 🥴 and it's super overwhelming trying to narrow down which machine to get.. but from what i've read, i think it's best sticking to mechanical over computerized for my first machine.

for anyone familiar with sewing machines, i think i narrowed it down to the janome sewist 725s.. but i still barely know what i'm doing lol
