we need to destroy the idea that girls should wear makeup. normalize bare faces on prom queens and flower girls and cheerleaders. no products at all instead of '7 product simple makeup routine.' no more 10 step skincare and regular facials and dermablading and gua sha just to be comfortable with yr natural face. i want to see eye bags on the funny librarian and acne on the swim coach and wrinkles on all our adult role models. i want to see a 16 year old girl that has never tried putting on eyeshadow. i want to see a 7 year old girl who doesn't have to go out and buy powder for her dance recital. i want to see trans women and girls everywhere to never have to wear makeup, regardless of how well they 'pass.' no more 'contouring to look masc' either. a post-beauty industry world is possible

please can we stop describing bigots as delusional. please. im so fucking tired. someone being sucked into a hate group surrounded by others who believe minorities should be oppressed and encouraging them to believe in conspiracy theories that the rest of the group believes, is fundamentally different from someone having a mental illness that causes delusions.

delusions, by definition, cannot be explained by things like cultural background - such as having a belief constantly reinforced by intentional attempts to rationalize it for the sake of maintaining power over minorities. yes, someone can be both delusional and a bigot, and yes conspiracy theories can feed into delusions, but the two are not fucking synonymous.

i did not spend my teen years convinced that i was being stalked by demons just to hear so many of you people equate my disability with incel behavior and genocidal propaganda. stop reinforcing harmful connotations about mental health struggles.

Another note I forgor to mention is I love how after hearing Simon go "it's enough to make your hair turn white" about Martin's office in s4 many of us collectively agreed his hair turned white because of his association with the Lonely. The shared consciousness is real and we use it to play hot potato with the communal brain cell dedicated to the sillies.

getting a new show and liking it and immediately having to fight like hell to save it when it's not one of the seven shows they keep milking new seasons out of and isn't immediately greenlit for a season 2. and it gets cancelled anyway. "GUYS!!! EVERYONE REPLAY THE EPISODES ON LOOP IN THE BACKGROUND WHILE YOU GO ABOUT YOUR DAY!!! WE HAVE TO GET THE VIEWERS UP!!!" and it gets cancelled anyway. social media campaigns spreading a hashtag for the show with viewers pouring their hearts out for the show and begging for it to stay. and it gets cancelled anyway. shows lucky enough to get a season 2 have it be rushed and packed with poorly-paced plot elements with the rationalization that they want to squeeze in as much as the story as they can in case they probably get cancelled. and it gets cancelled anyway. I don't want this to keep being normal. I don't want to do this for every new goddamn show. I don't want to do this anymore.
