This is the best cut content I’ve ever heard of.

I’m really sad this minigame was cut. Having a kind of rhythm game (I guess?) would have been really neat, and been… y’know, more than just three games, even though Checkerboard Chase is pretty fun.

I don’t care that this was cut from the final game, I’m considering it canon. Imagining these four in a little band trying to play is hysterical, especially because of the instruments they all have.

I’m gonna ramble about that now so if you don’t wanna read all that, here’s the cutoff for just my initial thoughts. If you wanna read more, here’s my insanity over this one image.

The instruments they have is just great. Dedede on drums is very fitting, and did end up returning later. Dedede’s Drum Dash exists after all, so obviously he loves his drums. Waddle Dee just having a tambourine and not something like a bass guitar is so funny. They look like a rock band or something because of the other three, but he just brought tambourines and they ran with it. Kirby, being the main character, of course has that leading instrument, the electric guitar. And Adeleine can play the keyboard so she isn’t just skilled in the traditional art, like drawing and painting, because apparently she can play piano too.

How is Kirby playing the guitar. He doesn’t have fingers. He doesn’t even really have arms, he just has nubs. What kind of guitar is that? How is he doing that?

Waddle Dee looks so happy to be there, like he’s glad that his friends aren’t mad that he forgot the bass and now they have to make do with tambourines.

Dedede looks mad for some reason? Like “I hate these drums I can’t jump on them what’s the point”.

That is a very large keyboard because Adeleine is standing on her tiptoes to reach it. And she’s one of the tallest characters in the whole series. She’s also more to the side where Kirby, Waddle Dee, and Dedede are all closer together. Are keyboard players usually off to the side? Does Adeleine just need space when she’s preforming? Does she feel like an outcast because she’s human?

The logo on Dedede’s drums looks like “K4” and I mean… the Kirby 4? Because there’s four of them? Or maybe 4 because 64?

Adeleine looks more like her design in Dream Land 3 in this. Her hair looks like it’s more in her face, but in Crystal Shards (and in all her later appearances) her entire forehead is bare, except a small strand of hair in her updated Star Allies design.

Kirby is so happy. He’s just smiling. Granted, he’s almost always smiling in Crystal Shards, since he smiles the whole way through all the levels when you’re just walking. But he looks especially happy here.

I wonder what songs they’d be playing? Maybe just some simple music, or music from the game or other Kirby games? A semi-rock remix of the Pop Star theme would be pretty awesome. Kirby just does an insane riff in the middle of it while his friends are still playing the theme normally. He would do that, and then look at them, and they’d all be stunned and he’d be smiling like that’s just how the song goes. Or they’d do Dedede’s normal theme and he’d be going all in on those drums the whole time while everyone else tries to play louder to balance it out.

Since I feel like this is still canon despite being cut, sometimes they’ll all get out their instruments (Adeleine just painting a keyboard) and play stuff for everyone. All the other Dream Friends are around in the castle making requests, and maybe Bandee remembers to grab a bass this time.

They play some songs suggested by everyone else, and then randomly throw in something to catch them off guard and either freak them out or delight them. Marx getting too annoying? Just start playing Kirby’s Triumphant Return! Meta Knight looking unimpressed? Time to play Sword of the Surviving Guardian! Want to remind Taranza that his girlfriend is dead? Moonstruck Blossom time!

Yeah I really like this cut minigame.

Hi, It is possible for you to make an updated Tournament Skin for Johnny? With "updated" I mean: - Janet's pants/shinpads/shoes untoched if not for body proportions and the golden CAGE logo on the waistline instead of the star; - barechest with the stylized Johnny tattoo visible; white bandage on the forearms, and if possible, keep the gold bracelet and the CAGE knuckles; THANKS and sorry for the request. On paper it should be relatively easy as it is mostly stuff already in-game.

Um, if I get time I might give it a shot. Really don't wanna burn myself out on the game or modding it. So I won't make any promises.

Please never say that to a modder, especially one you're asking to do something for you. Or at least, to me. Because you're making it sound like I can snap my fingers and make it happen. Since my last post regarding ARTS 102 I have gotten more used to using technology as the main art form. Ive always been better with illustrator but things have updated. I’m still following a concept of each project like I’m used to, just focusing more on the guide lines and not straying away from the path. I always wanna make sure my work doesn’t just look nice but captures the eye and it visual appealing and really speaks not just to me but hopefully to the viewers as well; an “artistic” statement. In this past weeks reading for ARTS 102 something Pierre di Scuillo stated spoke out to be, “my goal is often to delight the eye and stimulate the voice.” This statement is close enough to the goal that I’ve set for myself. The picture I paired with this post is some stuff I’ve been working on since last. The top ones are from color and composition, which I’m throughly enjoying as well. I’m getting to create beautiful colors from scratch and how colors work together. Definitely will help when it comes to painting. But I included these two because before starting a project used my iPad first to create the color hues; kind of like a guideline before I used real paint. I used illustrator just as I am in this class as well. Just shows also how technology has evolved and become so useful in art. The bottom picture are projects (somewhat done) from this class ARTS102, the left was our last project, project number two. Which was create a typographic abstraction that would eventually become a collaborative piece with the class. I followed the guidelines, but I definitely believed I could of pushed it more; something as simple as either changing the typeface or zooming in close to one spot. But I believe I did well and I had fun with it, definitely bothered my ocd a bit. A part of the reading talked about typographic and logos, so I found something they Mark Fox said about symbols, “ a symbol suggest rather that depicts;it represents not only itself, but also some large, external narrative.” he had a bunch more to say about logos, symbols, typographic etc; that i felt really fit with this project. Last screenshot in the right is a project we just started, just some sketched thumbnails for the GoTv + the great idea poster; I chose the quote that follows the guideline , “our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter” by MLK. I felt it spoke to myself personally and was the best to pick for this project tying into the next election and going out and voting. I got kinda stuck on the thumbnail sketched , so im hoping more idea will come to be soon enough. #arts102

Hey so it’s been a while

I felt like writing wasn’t very therapeutic for me these past few months. Also I didn’t like the new tumblr logo. But I like the little skeleton they made in a « T » for halloween or something. Haven’t done any updates on the app since, to keep it like that. Makes me feel comfortable, not like the other one. It feels so « mainstream », I don’t know. I don’t really like colors.

I learned the reason why some people like creepy stuff like skeletons and dark shit. I’m an anxious person. Always on edge, always uncomfortable. My safe place is unconfortable, my confort zone in uncomfortable. When I don’t feel the anxiety rushing through my body I feel wrong. I feel nothing really. Well turns out creepy stuff puts you in that uncomfortable space and makes you feel normal, when you know you aren’t.

It also replicates my state of mind I think. No one really knows who I am and how I feel. I’ve been labeled as mysterious by some girls I just met. It’s like I have so many layers of personnality on the outside that the only time I feel like myself is late at night thinking about depressive things. Truth is I’m not okay and I feel incredibly lonely. So much it hurts. It’s like I’m living in my own little world and all the people around me are just connecting with each other. And I can’t. I feel out of touch and most of the time, numb. It’s like emotions are stuck inside me. I don’t know how to cry anymore and it scares me how much some things don’t bother me that much. It’s a very weird coping mechanism.

I feel like vampires in the vampire diaries when they turn off their humanity. It feels good for a while because you are not hurting anymore, but you know you can’t live like this forever. The thing is, when you turn it back on, you know your heart will fucking break. And you’ll have to process your shit. I don’t think I’m ready.

Every day feels like the last. Time is going by so fast and I feel like I’m watching myself live my life instead of living it. Like I’m just the narrator for a character that is making very, very bad decisions. I wanna shake some sense into myself. But I’m just watching it unfold, like I have no say in the matter.

I’m lonely. Fucking lonely. But I can’t find the strength to let anyone in. I’m scared my humanity will turn back on. Also, I fucking hate myself. God I hate myself so much. I hate my fucking body. I hate that I’ve gained weight. I hate that I’m tired all the time. I hate that I’m not doing enough. I hate food and calories. I hate that I’m a stress eater. I hate that the only comfort I find is in skeleton logos and bowls of ramen. I hate that I have to diet. Because I do. But I always feel fucking guilty when I eat anything else but protein. I hate the guilt. I hate that I love the guilt because it makes me drink water when I’m hungry. I hate when I give in to the late night snack. I hate that I love the taste of it.

Possibly Quiting DeviantART...

So some of you guys may not know that I originally started posting my artwork over on DeviantART. I made my account over ten years ago, I was of course 14 at the time of making the account and originally I started out with making a bunch of Pokemon stuff before moving into other fandoms and what not.

However as of lately things have really changed after DeviantART went through with not only changing their logo symbol but also completely revamping the site to something unrecognizable. Lets also mention the fact that their memberships were originally referred to as Premium Memberships which gave you certain benefits that was worth the money at one point, hell there was a time where you could just subscribe for a membership that was literally only $5 a month, very much affordable. They also had other choices too including a seven year membership that was worth $200 literally. But since the site has revamped they are now down to three different membership types and changed Premium Memberships to be called Core Memberships now.

DeviantART was once a pretty decent site that still had its fair share of....not so great staff working the site. Nowadays with the new look, it seems the site is just trying to keep up with certain trends while also still being helpful to Artists by having a system that prevents NFTs being made of another person’s artwork....HOWEVER there is a catch with this new system as it only protects your work if you have a Core Membership, if you do not have a Core Membership then you are out of luck and anyone can try and take your artwork and turn it into an NFT.

With the introduction of AI Art now, DeviantART not surprisingly has also followed along into that trend and has now introduced an AI program to make AI Art with. It’s at a point where the site is beyond recognition. The only thing that keeps the site the same are the certain types of people who still run around on it, including certain types of artists.

At this point a lot of great artists are leaving the platform and I myself likely may as well do the same since I feel that the site is no longer how I remember it. I remember going a long time without ever going back and not even uploading anymore but it’s to a point where a lot of the people I met on that platform have just...left and likely moved onto other platforms to post their artwork on. I think perhaps it is time I do the same, I already found other places I can upload my work on and still get some fair attention, while my art still gets some views and likes on DeviantART....it’s not the same anymore as at times I did receive some comments, while it’s not an issue to not receive them....there is just something about how the site feels now that doesn’t....make it feel the same even when receiving comments. I think I should also state that what doesnt give it that nice charm or sparkle to it is when you do have people who try to sound nice by saying the art is nice and then immediately want to request you when you are not open for Requests (I had this happen before twice with the same person on the website), the moment you tell them that you are not intending on doing requests.....they immediately lose interest in you and move on since you will not give them what you want. At least that is something that has never changed about some users on DeviantART, the freeloaders on that platform.

Anyways maybe this is a good stopping point. I am going to give myself until Saturday to decide on if I wanna deactivate my Account on there, if I do I will be deactivating it by 11:59PM on December 31st. The day before I will be deleting any and all of my works on that site so no one can try and take them while the account is no longer active anymore. I will also be closing down the Groups I have made as well on that same exact day. But I still have to decide first, I will give an update on my account on there on what I decide to do.

Gym crush update

I usually take a locker at the gym to put my bag in it but I keep with me some stuff so I put it today where I usually put it and it’s also where he also puts his stuff (he doesn’t take a locker so he has more stuff) and he came in after me and he put his stuff next to mine and some was over it, not o sound like a grade 2 girl but I hope he’ll always do that🤭🤭🤭also unimportant but I just realised that between my stuff there was the same liverpool jacket I wore the last time he saw me and the logo was shown I think

I honestly don't have the drive to write up the associated dialogue for this one right now (have been prepping some other stuff outta order,) but I'll try to come back to it at some point!

Time’s End is an AHIT/Undertale crossover AU of sorts, taking place in the aftermath of a timeline where you lose the final boss fight against Mustache Girl. You can find the write-up here! Mustache Girl takes on a hybrid Asgore and Asriel role, and her Palace acts as the New Home replacement. Hat Kid also takes the role of Sans. Bow Kid has come a long way by this point in the story, and as she makes her way through the labyrinth to Mu and her Time Pieces (her final step to being able to go home,) many of the people of this world are there to greet our protagonist. We may know the basics of what got everyone in this mess, but much like UT itself, here is where the ill-fated clash between Mu and Hat Kid is unveiled to its full extent.

So... my first ever Track 71 replacement, and it's the one for Time's End (and will prolly be the longest single track posted for this AU to boot!) Wish I'd been able to finish this in time for Undertale's 7th anniversary, but oh well. Consider this my late contribution to the party! XD Also ye, I didn't wanna just go with "haha track 71's name is the same as the AU name," so I came up with smth different lol. Anyhow. The variety of motifs for Mustache Girl and Hat Kid in AHIT proper are... well, rather lacking when it comes to building a track like this to say the least, especially as far as the latter is concerned. Judge Jury and Executioner also just wasn't gonna cut it as a melody this time though I did use some of its general stylings in the backing, so I had to REALLY play around with the motifs I used to get things to fit the vibe I wanted here - including another modification of Get Lost as the "Memory" stand-in. I even included an essentially original motif that I made a year ago from building on top of Time Rift Story Book's very basic chords. The results definitely paid off here though, and I'm incredibly happy with how this turned out! The particular key change I did on the final section was very much a happy accident, and so many things just wound up coming together far nicer than I first thought, especially where my most bonkers motif choices are concerned. (Btw yes, considering how simple it is, this means I'll try to do the Memory replacement fairly soon-ish.) All my ramblings aside though, I hope you guys enjoy! :)

at long last, im so excited to announce that this ask blog is officially open! many people know I’ve been working on this intro for roughly five weeks, and I’m very excited to finally share it- possibly as excited as I am to FINALLY begin telling this story!!!

first of all, tumblr completely ruined the quality of that last panel- if you wanna see the full sized gif (warning you now, it’s enormous), you can find that here! And, if the gif is hard to read/hard to view, there’s a static version of this panel below the cut! 

There’s also a ton of extra information that could answer some questions you might have, as well as a list of potential triggers to watch out for in the future! However, it is really long, and when I say really long, I mean it’s chapter-in-a-book-long so please don’t feel obligated to read it unless you have extra questions/have some bad triggers you wanna make sure to avoid.

Otherwise though, I can’t wait to see what kind of questions you guys send these two! One has to wonder… where in the world are they headed off to in the dead of night…

And now for some extra info on things going forward.

On every single canon update, there will be a description of themes in this story that could unsettle or discomfort some viewers. I’ve included tags to blacklist, and explained exactly how these situations might arise so folks who are sensitive to this kind of thing can prepare themselves accordingly! 

I would recommend at least skimming this list if you know you have some bad triggers! This story will never get too dark or intense, as I’m attempting to stay true to the original spirit of MSA, but this doesn’t mean it won’t touch on those themes at all.

also, in regards to how much of this art is hand drawn by me- the honest truth is 99% of this is entirely freehanded. I took colors from the videos, but otherwise only used them as reference. However, if I ever used a canon asset to help me, I will always specifically say what exactly was borrowed directly from canon in a way that was more than just using images as reference and taking colors. for this post specifically, I’ll word it a little differently, but this will all be much tidier in the future.

the van asset is 97% freehanded by myself- I did take measurements of the canon asset, and marked my canvas so I’d know the width and height of the van, and vaguely marked where the tires would be. 
I did trace the antennae ontop, as well as the cloud decals, one of the curves on the right side of the windshield, part of the door window at the very bottom lefthand corner, and the rear view mirror. The logo was not recreated, I directly took that and just altered the colors to fit the van.  Other than that, everything you see on that van was freehanded. The van was also the only thing I used a canon asset to help me with for creation of it, meaning that the rest of the art in this introduction is entirely freehand.

moving on from that- updates will not take an entire month like this did. i will not be doing eight full color illustrations for every single update, and for right now, at the minimum, they’ll happen weekly!  i can provide more information going forward once I work out how I’m going to go about things a little better, since things won’t be as huge as this introduction was. don’t worry though, the quality of the art itself will stay the same throughout the whole story!

and yes, lewis and vivi are in this too! there’s a big cast of characters, and lew and viv are just as much at the center of this story as arthur and mystery are- don’t worry, you’ll see them plenty soon enough!

finally, before we get to the content warning stuff, if you ever have any questions about how I’m running things, or need clarification on anything, please let me know! I’m happy to explain things in more depth if needed!!! and now, here’s the last chunk of this INCREDIBLY long introduction. ~~~ WHAT FOLLOWS IS A VERY LONG (!!!), IN DEPTH LIST OF THINGS VIEWERS MIGHT ENCOUNTER IN THIS STORY THAT COULD TRIGGER THEM. If you are not super sensitive or have very intense triggers, you don’t really need to read what follows unless you want to. Otherwise, I would at least skim this, so you know what tags to block so you won’t have to see this type of content.

Don’t let any of this worry you too much, by the way! This story is very likely not ever going to get extreme in any manner, I just like to be very cautious, just in case!

Also keep in mind that you can always ask me to add tags to a post, and it’s highly unlikely I will refuse said request. If I do, it will be for a very good reason, and I’ll explain it thoroughly, as well as remain open to any discussion about it. With that in mind, here are things to be aware of:

DISTURBING CONTENT: This is vaguely worded because it is a bit of broad umbrella. What I can immediately promise is this story will NEVER have themes of suicide or self-harm. I do not feel this story needs to go there, nor do I wish to take it there. Also, while there is angst, I do not believe in beating characters up mercilessly- the angst is for the story and their development. This is not going to be a story that is only angsty. PARANOIA: A few of the characters often get a sense of being hunted or followed, or something lurking around the corner, which can be upsetting to some viewers. I have made a lil AU of my own for Sweet Cap'n and Cakes, and I am here to give the official ref sheets and some small little ramblings on it for you all to see! May I present to you all a little AU I like to call:

"Old Time Roads AU!"

Basic summary of what this AU is all about!: So basically in this AU, the whole dark world is just based around the years 1800-1900 when Cowboys were still a thing! Instead of rebels, they are all Cowboys!... Well, sort of-

That is the basic idea of this whole AU! I will leave some more lil ramblings down below for you all to enjoy, canon stuff I have so far been able to think of and gather with the help of some other amazing people, I will be forever thankful to them all for the help they have provided to me with this AU! <3<3<3

Old Time Roads canon stuff so far! (Will be probably updated/Changed in the future!!!)

Sweet is a blacksmith! He makes all the teams weapons, little tools, and so on that his lil hands can make! He made his, Cap'n's, and K_K's weapons all by himself from scrap! He also made the little logos on all of their hats! Anything they don't use, they sell in a designated section in their shared little shop!

Cap'n and K_K love to design and make clothes together in their free time, and they also sell some of them in a designated spot in their shop! Dresses, suits, shirts, you name it, even umbrellas and scarfs!

To make some form of solid cash, K_K works at a local Restaurant/Bar as a Barmaid to make some form of cash for essentials and whatnot. Anything they make from their shop they use for extra stuff!

Cap'n's mustache is VERY much fake, and whenever he and Sweet argue, Sweet just yanks it off at times to mess with him or in frustration, and Cap'n always has to glue it right back on. It has happened so many times, it has started to physically leave a mark on his face.

K_K's umbrella also has a hidden gun in it, designed and made by yours truly, Sweet!

Story Moodboard!

It’s with a grunt of effort that I manage to lift the carton containing the cotton-candy-maker.

‘Here, dad,’ I say as my dad takes the box from my hands. ‘That’s all?’

‘Yep, that’s all of it. We’ll conquer this carnival with our delicious cotton candy,’ I nod, doing jazz hands while saying the last part. Dad chuckles. I grin.

‘Hey, Honey!’ I turn back, squinting to spot where my other dad is in the crowd of bustling people. Where, where…? Yep, there he is – in his embarrassingly brilliant sunshine yellow and bottle green striped shirt and hot pink trousers, a sharp contrast to his natural bright red hair. Don’t say that it can’t look that bright; you’ll never know just how blindingly bright bottle green can really be until you see the shirt my dad’s wearing. And trust me, he usually dresses in simpler tones; such bland tones that you’d be surprised to know he was capable of wearing colourful hues as well. It’s only that he’s very passionate about his job, and so whenever we set up a booth in fetes such as the current one, he never misses to match the shop logo.

‘Hul-lo, father dearest, how seems to go your day?’

‘Oh, quite lovely, if I do say so.’

‘Well, that’s simply charming –’

‘Alright, enough,’ my other, not redhead dad snaps with an exasperated sort of smile on his visage. You see, my not redhead, a.k.a. brown-haired dad happens to be British. And that means that me and dad would rather paint our teeth blue than to not tease him. ‘You both need to shut it and start helping me with the decorations, now. You know I’m trash at all that.’

‘Aw, now don’t get discouraged,’ I say, patting dad on the back. ‘After all, not everyone can be as blessed as me, can they?’

‘Hey, why don’t you go look around for a bit? You’ve been helping out since before I have.’

‘Yeah, he’s right, pet. You should.’

I huff, rubbing my palms on the fabric of my jeans. ‘You guys sure? I’m not tired, if that’s what you’re worried about.’

‘We’re not worried, we’re just saying you should also get a look, you know? There’s a lot of surprising booths this time around. I mean, there are aliens participating too, so…’

‘Hmm,’ I play with my bottom lip a little, then, ‘yeah, okay. I’ll be back in like, an hour? Forty five minutes? Sound okay?’

‘Sounds great.’

‘Bye, then.’ And with that, I turn on the heels of my Converse, wandering about the pretty stalls and eager children and kissy couples and aliens with curious features.

It really feels bizarre, just how astonishingly fast mankind has accepted the existence of aliens. It seems simultaneously ages and just a day before when conspiracy theorists raged all around the world, presenting baseless theories and concepts as to why and how the three-man squad on the Kerberos mission disappeared. Then came the Galra, bringing along with them global terror – because alien life, intelligent alien life existed and humanity remained oblivious all these millennia, and now they were actually attacking us. It could’ve been, perhaps even was, in some other dimension, the end of Earth. But then a defender appeared; Voltron appeared in all its glory, bringing along with it proof that however much these purple aliens claim that humans are scum of the universe, humans were, in the grand scheme of things, the ones that saved the universe too.

It feels even more puzzling to actually be on a first-name basis with the leader of Voltron; that’s right, I’m personally acquainted with Keith Kogane. It was around six months after him leaving the Garrison did I come across him. He’d been loitering around the neighbourhood, had ended up in a fistfight with some other kids, and along with that a split lip and bruised cheek. I’d been watching. When the fight ended, I (somehow) persuaded him to come along so that I could at the very least provide him with a band-aid.

Long story short, we’d bonded over how our moms were no-shows and how dads were the best and we became surprisingly close friends; the only difference was that after the death of his old man, he lived alone. I’d been adopted by my two current fathers. I told him about how when they’d initially adopted me, I was excruciatingly shy. I wouldn’t even come out of my room except meals. It was only when I came to know that they knew how to make candy floss had I timidly approached them if I could have some, because previously I’d always been grossed out at the thought of having to eat that. I’d overheard this group of kids saying that cotton candy was actually just dyed granny hair, so that’s where that came from.

I love cotton candy now. So much so, that even at the age of twenty-six, I will pout if someone takes some of mine without my permission. As if I’d ever allow them to.

Speaking of Keith, I haven’t seen him in years. We lost all contact when he turned eighteen, and then he went off into space, and even when he came back, I didn’t get a chance to meet him. I bear no ill will, though. He must have formed some close relationships. Our past friendship is comparatively much more trivial.

I spot a booth selling grilled corn. I instantly head there.

As I’m about join the crowd of humans and aliens who also want corn, a familiar call of my name leads me to pull a three sixty.

Lo and behold. Keith Kogane.

Despite him having obviously grown a lot, the face was still the same. I’m sure that, if he gets a split lip and bruise on his cheek right now, he won’t look all that different.

There’s a questioning hesitance on his features; he’s probably wondering if he’s got the right person. My pleasantly surprised smile and raised eyebrows assure him. As I step away from the grilled corn stall, I notice a motley crowd behind him; some are purple, some are holding Voltron plushies, and some look way too curious to be in a carnival. The introduction is going to be fun.

‘Keith! You're gonna live a hundred years - I was just thinking about you. But anyways, it’s – it’s great to see you,’ I say with a little giggle. ‘Though I am kind of surprised you actually approached me. The sixteen-year-old you would never.’

He smiles awkwardly in return. ‘Y – yeah… I, just… oh God, this is – I’m sorry,’ he says, his inner turmoil evident.

‘It’s all good. I know you’re shit at small talk, so… like, introduce me? Maybe?’

He nods rapidly, brows furrowed. ‘Yeah, um,’ he turns to the people behind him, telling them my name, how we met, the whole affair. I give them a wave. Most of them greet me back.

‘And, this is Shiro and Curtis,’ he points to the tall, white-haired yet young man, holding hands with a tanner guy, ‘Lance, Pidge and Hunk,’ he points to a lanky, bright-smiled guy, a buffer, kind-seeming person, and a short chestnut-haired woman who, despite wearing baggy jeans and a baggier tee, looks somehow better dressed than me. ‘Then that’s Allura, Coran, and Romelle, they’re Alteans,’ a woman with enchanting beauty and a regal aura surrounding her, a redhead who’s significantly older than the rest with an impressive moustache, and a youthful appearing girl with a big grin, ‘and Lotor, he’s Galran. The Galran Emperor, in fact.’ Lotor is a tall, lilac-skinned man with aristocratic features who shares the same cheek markings as the Alteans. Oh, and he’s unfairly gorgeous, his hair a luscious mane of white which I just know will be soft. It’s hard not to stare. You remember how I said Allura looked like royalty? Yeah, the way this man carries himself, he has the aura and visage of a God. Even in a white tee-shirt and jeans he looks way better than should be legal.

I rip my eyes away.

‘So…are Noah and Oliver here too? I’d love to see them. I mean, I never did get to thank them to permit a possible criminal to sleep in their house.’

I laugh. ‘Never mind that, but we actually sit up a stall here. I could, you know, maybe even get you guys something to eat.’

‘Free? Please don’t.’

‘It’s nothing, really, just… I don’t know, accept it as a small thank you present for not letting the planet go to shit.’

A bit of thinking. Even after a nod from Shiro, it was Lance who said yes. Good ol’ Keith.

When we reach the stall, my British dad is the only one we find there. He looks up, about to say something to me, when he notices Keith.

‘Dad. You remember Keith?’

‘Your possible criminal friend who turned out to be the saviour of the universe Keith?’

‘That Keith. He wanted to see you.’

‘Oh? Well then,’ he dusts his hands, stands up, and greets Keith. Both of them engage in a conversation.

‘You guys wanna try something?’

‘What do you got?’ asks Pidge.

‘What do we got? Um, we got chocolates, candy, marshmallows, jellybeans, tortilla chips, ice cream, popcorn �� butter, cheese, caramel, peri peri – Lays, like, a lot of Lays, and the good old cotton candy. What d’you want?’

So, after providing the humans with two Cream n’ Onion Lays, a pack of tortilla chips, a double scoop of butterscotch and chocolate, a small tub of popcorn, and three cotton candy sticks, I turned to the aliens.

‘I’m assuming you guys aren’t familiar with a lot of this stuff, so you could either pick whatever looks to be good, ask your friends, or I could recommend something. What’ll it be?’

Romelle was the one who asked, ‘What’s ice cream like?’

‘It’s sweet. It’s cold. And it’s like… heaven in mouth.’

‘Ooh. I want an ice cream. The… pink one?’

‘That’s strawberry. You can eat it in a cone, or in a cup.

‘What’s the difference?’

‘Well, the cup you can’t eat. The cone is like a crispy biscuit,’ judging by her face, she didn’t know what biscuit was. ‘I’ll just give you a cone. It’s all on the house, so no worries if you don’t like it.’

I watched eagerly as she licked the ice cream. An unreadable look crossed her face. Then – ‘This is almost as good as Hunk’s cookies!’

‘Really?’ Coran asked, twirling his moustache. ‘Well, then…’ he squinted to read the names of the various flavours. ‘I would like “cookies and cream”. Yes.’ A cone of cookies n’ cream was served.

‘Allura?’

‘Do you have something that isn’t sweet?’ That was a plot twist. I’d have taken her as someone who appreciated sweeter foods.

‘We do. You want spicy?’

‘…Sure.’ Peri Peri popcorn was given and enjoyed.

And last… ‘Lotor. What would you like to have?’

It takes me a lot of will to not laugh at Lotor’s way too analytical expression. ‘What would you recommend?’

‘Me?’

‘Yes.’

‘Out of all this stuff, candy floss is my favourite.’

‘Candy floss… the item that looks simultaneously like a cloud and an old woman’s hair?’

‘Yeah.’

‘I would like a helping of candy floss, then.’

As I hand Lotor a stick of cotton candy, I wait with anticipation for his reaction.

‘How am I supposed to eat this?’

It takes me a moment to process that. ‘Uh, you just… pinch a little of the stuff in between your fingers, then eat it. Or you could just, um, go in directly, which I’m thinking isn’t really your style.’

He narrows his eyes, but follows my instructions nonetheless. Only a second after putting the stuff in his mouth, Lotor purrs.

Everyone around him, being me, Coran and Romelle (Allura’s off telling Lance how great Earth food is), looks with wide eyes and raised eyebrows. Lotor appears as if he’s just died inside. The berry-shaded blush on his face is adorable, though.

'I didn't, like, poison you or something, right?'

'No. It's that... I would never in my lifetimes have expected something so tooth-rottingly sweet to be this delicious.'

'So you're okay?'

‘Yes. In fact, I quite like… this cotton candy.’

I grin.

on point 1: so i fixed that, and then out of curiosity i went and checked my feedback form - turns out there were eight unread responses, ope. and turns out there was a massive bug and subtraction just. didnt work right.

so i fixed those, and then i added a fixed navbar, and that caused all SORTS of issues but it looked better so blargh but anyway. The Website Has Been Updated (which is also, the tumblr! i dont know how tumblr works but if you go to the full page the changes are there too). Now the site has like, a better navbar??? this took way too long to be worth it lmfao

ON DUALS (alicorn theory primer)

Dual Classpects are a couple of things. They're a system to give funky names to sprite-fused Homestuck characters, they're a way to make cool sounding titles, but it's also mostly today's XKCD.

In the case of today (April 23, 2022), we're gonna be playing around with Dragon of Storm.

DRAGON OF STORM

(yeah i know the website is a lil janky rn. if anyone has suggestions for a logo n stuff hmu)

Anyway. Dragon of Storm. The search page says that a Dragon of Storm is made out of ThiefBard of BreathHope, so to get a Dragon of Storm you could do a few things.

Number one is that you grab a Bard of Breath and a Thief of Hope, and sprite-fuse them together. This is the original way Dual Classpecting worked, and I think it's fairly understandable. Bam, two people, now one person. New classpect.

The other way to do it is through Alicorn Theory, which is not for this post in terms of an in-depth explanation, but I'll do a brief rundown here. Basically, what if alicornhood is achieved through doing character growth Really Really Good, like, triumphing over your classpect + a bonus one.

For the purpose of this post, we'll be looking at making an alicorn out of a Thief of Hope -- Peter Quill, from GOTG2.

Peter's whole thing is that he's been actively taken from places, but that gives him new opportunities, new hopes. There's more to this classpecting, but I'll save it for a larger post on the Hope aspect (most of what I'd say in it can be viewed here). For now, let's take it as granted and move on.

To become fully realized as a Dragon of Storm, he needs to overcome the challenges of both his inverse classpect (Page of Rage) AND the bonus secondary one (the inverse of Bard of Breath, Maid of Blood). This actually fits GOTG vol2 kinda perfectly.

Peter's big new struggle in this film kinda IS that of a Maid of Blood. He just found out about a new, like, literal biological part of him, but it's also a new familial relationship that drives the film's conflict. He has to overcome this, become a Bard of Breath (one who passively destroys thru and is passively destroyed by freedom/youth/innocence/travel), leave Ego behind, and be with his team.

He also achieves Page of Rage in this film - like, the giant pacman is. i mean. like. come on.

By the end of the film, once he's finally at his like, Character Growth Achieved moment, that's a Dragon of Storm, I tell ye. I declare it.

Well uh, let's see...

I guess I'll start with the magma beast in the room...

I am happy to report that my mom and I are on good terms again 😌

We talked it out all last week over what we were fighting about (that wasn't Onward related btw) and basically what she wants from me is this: a balance. I can still love Onward as much as I do, but she would also like the love I do put into it to be put into IRL stuff that will move me forward too: mostly to do with what my college major is 👈

At the end of the day, my mom, older sister, and I...we may not live in the same house together anymore, we may have heavy disagreements about things, but we're still a close-knit very loving family and I couldn't ask for anything better ❤️

I love my family so much and sometimes I do take that for granted. I want to try and be better about not taking things for granted because it turns I do take things having to do with my family for granted a lot. I know it won't be easy but I'm going to try. Heck, knowing how much bolder I've become over the last 6 months, I feel like I can do anything I set my mind to these days 😎

I just got a new roommate over spring break who has THE MOST adorable pet bunny! She's SO cute! Her curiosity and the way she twitches her nose makes me wanna squeal everytime 🐰😍

I think Robaire is my favorite member of 4*Town (and yes 4*Town is my go-to music right now, they really need to make a full album! 3 songs just isn't enough!) there's just something about him that makes me go all googley eyes, maybe it's Jordan Fisher...maybe's it's his pierced ears...his expression...but yeah he's my favorite 🎶

(also when I typed "googley eyes" in my search box, the Google logo at the top left corner of my page literally put on googley eyes! It's so freaky! But I love when Google is interactive like that, try it!)

I'm about to start rewatching Green Eggs and Ham on Netflix cause in case you didn't hear, season 2 is FINALLY coming in 2 weeks!! I also added GE&H to my bio too because I really love that show, it was what I was really into before Onward came out and I've been eagerly waiting for the second season to come out the moment I finished the last episode of season 1. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet! This is one of those rare times where I say it's actually better than the original source material, the animation is gorgeous, the story is awesome, so yeah check it out if you're on Netflix and you're bored cause that's how I found it! 💚

I guess other than that, I've just been using my time off to get back into the swing of things at college and focusing on my schoolwork. I finally got a massive research paper that I've been assigned since the beginning of this semester finished yesterday so I'm glad that gigantic boulder is off my back. But now that I'm in a good place, things are calm and not as busy again, I thought now was a great time to come back!

medic is not one for drinking in particular, but seeing you barely able to stand up straight gave him a bit of a giggling fit and the idea of sticking around to see how you would end up at the end of the night (and totally not because he wanted to baby you, what are you on about)

after enough times of you nagging him to drink he reluctantly picks up a bottle to indulge you

10 minutes later he's as drunk as you are and you two look like a match made in heaven, constantly cackling at each other's fumbled words

as you double over in laughter you say "y'know, this 's why i love you s' much.. you make me feel good"

in his drunken state he doesn't process what you said until you hold his face with both hands and repeat "i loooove youuu"

of all things he could've done, medic laughs and holds your hands. "ich liebe dich auch" (i love you too)

you, now a bit more sober, slowly lean over and peck him on the lips with a smile

"i don' know what that means, but i hope you like me too"

medic replies "of course i zo. now, go sleep. we'll talk more tomorrow" with a grin. you reluctantly let go of his face and stumble into the night with a gleeful smile on your face(zho? do? medic's accent is weird to physically write)

spy has been determined to get you to drink with him all week, so after gathering enough courage you accept and hope to not make yourself look like a drunken fool in front of him

he takes you to his suspiciously fancy room with an assortment of wine on his equally suspicious counter, nudging you to chose whichever you like

"spy, how strong are these? i don't want to be tipsy 2 minutes into drinking"

"unfortunately, these are the best i could find. new mexico doesn't have the best choices when it comes to wine" (99% this isn't true please don't flame me lmao)

you chose a medium sized bottle with an apricot as its logo, allowing spy to pour your drink with a small smile

you two share small chit-chat for over 2 hours, constantly bickering and complaining over every other merc

unbeknownst to you, wine makes you sleepy. after 2 hours, spy begins to worry when you barely respond to his words and barely move your body

"are you alright l'amour?"

"...yea? i'm jus' feelin' sleepy, that's all.."

"would you like me to escort you to your room?"

"that'd be nice, yea"

spy unceremoniously carries you all the way to your bedroom, which is especially caring coming from someone who never helps when his teammates are in danger, especially when they're drunk

when he arrives at your door you have to lean against the wall in a poor attempt to not fall over, leaving spy to basically hold you again the wall

"thanks spy, for tonight. you can go if you want to now. love you"

spy's entire body freezes up immediately, his eyes widening in shock

"surely you didn't mean that. you're so drunk you can't even stand straight."

you chuckle and cup spy's face, smiling. "i may have had too much wine but i do love you, spy. i didn't wanna tell you like this though. i had a whole thing planned out-"

spy cuts you off with a finger over your lips. "tell me about it tomorrow, mon amour. you won't remember this, and i want you to. goodnight."

surprised by his words, you nod and slither out of his grasp. "okay. goodnight, spy"

getting drunk with demo is not an unusual sight to see on base. you two are constantly seen holding a bottle of booze and sometimes each other for support

the other mercs leave you alone as no one wants to deal with two horribly drunk, stumbling fools who can barely speak a coherent sentence

after a particularly rough day, demo invites you to drink with him. you accept, immediately downing a bottle with a smile on your face

in the middle of a "conversation", you say "why can't it always be like this? me 'n you together doesn't look like a bad thing"

demo chuckles and replies "well lassie, life wouldn' be fair with you bein' by my side all the time!"

you take a swig of your bottle. "it'd be much easier though. i wouldn't have to pretend that i didn't like you."

demo tilts his head at your response, setting down his scrumpy on a nearby counter

you laugh at his obvious curiosity filled glance and reply, spilling your heart into the wide open. "i could kiss you, hold your hand, tell you that i love you, y'know? stuff like that"

demo is not one to experience hallucinations, so hearing you say this has him rethinking his alcohol addiction. no way that it's gone as far as hearing voices, right?

"ya' serious, lassie? ya' sure you haven't had too much scrumpy?"

"i'm serious, demo. i like you, a lot. i wanna be with you" you say, now a bit more sober and fully aware of what you're saying. "i think i love you"

tavish should be happy. he should. he is, in fact. however, deep down inside him he can feel something unpleasant. fear? fear of what? disappointing you?

demo sighs, rubbing his forehead. "lassie.. ya' can't.. why? outta' everyone, why choose the one-eyed alcohol addicted cyclops?"

you chuckle, reaching out to carefully put your hand on demo's face. he subtly leans into it, putting his hand over yours

"i love you because you're a one-eyed alcohol addicted cyclops. i love you because you're amazing."

demo can't handle this, not tonight. it was just supposed to be a fun little night of drinking, not you confessing your love to him.

"..we'll talk tomorrow, yea? i wanna remember this, lassie. please."
