It's 4am and I can't sleep so I'm ranting abt transformers comics again

The transformers (2009), and largely all of the "on earth content" thus far, has been kinda annoying tbh. There's lots of good stuff in there and I'm still overall enjoying myself but basically anything involving the humans is just. Wack.

This is largely because none of the human characters are interesting or likeable at all. Verity Jimmy and Hunter were interesting!!! I liked their dynamics for the most part and enjoyed how they interacted with the autobots but all of these badass military guys are boring and stupid! I mean the only one who's fleshed out in the least is Spike who's just supposed to be this sexy badass who's a tactical genius and gets lot of trim but he's the worst lmao. He's overpowered and annoying and just a nothing of a character. Also it's outrageously stupid that he's able to single handedly take down a constructicon with nothing but "dumb tech" like I can't even take that seriously.

But the really irritating thing is I just can't understand why they're still on earth! They keep acting like they're the last of their race and they have no where to go but new people keep showing up! Where tf did cosmos come from?? Shouldn't Optimus, as the leader of their species be like, be trying to pick up the scattered remains of this army after the war?? why ARE we kicking around on the mud ball im with Roddy and the decepticons on this one. Like it's irritating because hot rod is objectively right when he wants to leave! The humans don't want them there and are actively killing them! Perdonally i dont rly like thr implications of what theyre doing to the captured decepticons (but who cares right) but if the concern is decepticon attack roddys right they literally have thay covered (see above, one human single handedly taking down a constructicon). Not to mention we already know they've tortured and mutilated autobots in the past so who's to say they aren't still??

I just don't understand. the constant dick sucking of the human race. Speaking as a human, I don't need this in the story. Why are we constantly being shown that actually it's the humans who are the badasses and the transformers who are at their mercy. First off, I don't believe you, and second off, then why don't they leave??? Like every five minutes we get a speech abt how humans are amazing and resiliant and so powerful and resourceful and and kind and wonderful and the humans are meanwhile like sorry we weren't listening we were too busy inventing a device that makes autobots explode while simultaneously setting off all our nuclear weapons at once.

Honestly I think I wouldn't be so annoyed with the overpowered human race thing, like to a certain extent its an interesting dynamic, but what's most irritating is the autobots reactions to it. After literally everything humans have done to them they're still just like wow, humans are amazing, we should live here forever. This plan sucks!!!! Pls can we plsss just go back to space!!!

........ALSO Optimus just turning himself into the humans custody for bad leadership crimes because,,,,,, humans killed ironhide,, and he feels responsible,,,,,, so he's going to get captured by then, so they can kill the rest of his men without impediment???? Dude, get your boys out of there!!!!

When I think of Mars, I think of the Greek god, Ares. I think of the heart pumping blood throughout the body to keep it alive. I think of passion, ferocity, and rawness. Mars is the planet of emotion, similarly to the moon but with a more sinister twist. Mars wants you to feel everything and create with that energy, Mars wants you to be overwhelmed with emotion, so much so it consumes and guides you. Mars wants you to feel everything. It is known as a Malefic Planet because of its inability to be tamed and controlled but Mars isn’t about having control, its about intuition and allowing yourself to be guided by the invisible force that encourages you to nuzzle into your most primal and authentic state and honor that part of you.

Aries Mars [Mars in 1st]

When I picture Aries Mars at its most feral state, I visualize a forest fire consuming everything in its path, absorbing nature to feed as fuel. With Mars in its rulership, Aries Mars has no issue releasing, guided by their heart throughout it all to overcome whatever may stand in their way. They move quickly and harshly, striking first and questioning later. You mold life into what you want it to be so there is no need for you to even plan right? As an unstoppable force, you have to let your heart take control.

When I picture Taurus Mars at its most feral state, I imagine a bear tearing its way through a beehive, grasping at the honeycombs and devouring it in a matter of seconds. With a venus-ruled mars or mars in detriment, you all look for the sweeter things in life and insist that you are worthy of goodness and don’t mind taking it for yourself. Conflict is stupid to you because you have your own morals and studies and firmly believe in what you desire and if anyone steps to you, you have the power to throw it right back in their face. You are the raging bull, undefeated once you’re committed. But you represent the tamer, earthy side of Mars.

Gemini Mars [Mars in 3rd]

When I picture Gemini Mars at its most feral state, I picture the rebirth that spring offers. The energy of this mars sign matches the intensity of the rising sun and falling rain that causes the flowers to blossom and fill the earth with its aroma. It is quite impossible to stop a determined Gemini, they want to leave their mark on this earth and do so in many different ways as they are indestructible, powered by the combination of their mind and their heart which creates an explosion upon collision. To get in the way of this placement is to stand in the way of the changing seasons, impossible.

When I picture Cancer Mars at its most feral state, I visualize the crumbling of the earth into itself, only to grow back in a healthier form. A resilient placement that can have the worst thrown at them and come back only more beautiful. In the introduction, I discussed how both Moon and Mars share a common goal but the Moon goes about it a different way, as Cancer Mars goes about martian energy in a different way as well. With mars in fall, Cancer takes the soft approach to ferality, embracing the harsh energy and converting it into tenderness.

Leo Mars [Mars in 5th]

When I picture Leo Mars at its most feral state I see a blinding white-hot light overcoming anyone and everyone in its path, forcing others to bend to its will simply by doing what it does naturally. As a fixed mars, Leos energy is continuous and bold, quite difficult to escape if a Leo Mars has you in their eye line. They are everywhere, they rule the heart so they rule ferality in a way, diving back into their lion roots and fully delving into the fact that they are the rulers of the jungle and rulers of the world.

When I picture Virgo Mars at its most feral state I can clearly gaze upon an open field, a deer nosing at grass only to be pounced on by a random predator, yet Virgo represents both the predator and the prey, enforcing balance and really honoring nature fully. Virgo Mars is one of the most ferocious and determined martian placement because they understand how to use the life around them to their advantage. Failure is impossible because they are always ten steps ahead of everyone else. They understand balance, both aggressiveness, and peacefulness.

When I picture Libra Mars at its most feral state, I see a person walking into a mossy lake only to never come out again. There is a slight underestimation when people first get to know the Libra Mars.  This martian placement matches up with tricky Aphrodite, Libra mars has secrets they dont want unturned, they have a hidden past that they want to be kept to themselves because they are never the people they were a few moments ago. They are evolving and healing, rubbing soil on their open wounds to grow into a new version of themselves.

Mars takes a different approach in this rulership, it is calculated, ready, and sure of whatever move is to be made as if it has been practiced for quite some time. There is no defeating a Scorpio mars, only succumbing, bending to its will, and praying that they will take mercy on your soul.

When I picture Sagittarius Mars at its most feral state, I see the serpent in the garden of Eden sliding on its belly and offering an option of freedom, going against the grain of submissiveness. Sagittarius Mars tends to ooze this raw sex appeal that stems from their confidence & their need to question the life around them, never satisfied by what is given to them, instead they leave their own mark on the world before them by embracing individuality and moving along their own path.

When I picture Capricorn Mars at its most feral state, I imagine the fall of an empire, a civilization, a society, forced to come to terms with the fact that its reign has come to an end. Mars in exalt, arguably one of the most powerful placements to have in the natal chart, there isn’t a way to prevent the energy of a Capricorn Mars, they are backed by Saturn, two malefic energies combining to create an unbeatable power and manifesting as strength in the native who claims this energy.

They use their past to propel them into new opportunities and to become a higher version of themselves. There is no obstructing this futuristic placement, eyes steady on the prize that remains up ahead.

Pisces Mars [Mars in 12th]

When I picture Pisces Mars at its most feral state, I envision a floating sailor, sinking in with each song that leaves the siren’s voice only to realize that it is too late as the last of air leaves their lungs and they now become one with the siren. Pisces Mars has the gift of “innocence” that people project onto them and they understand how to use it to their advantage and come out on top. Deception is a mastered tool but doesn’t negate the fact that they are simply seductive and persuasive and hold power that many are unaware of. They should continue to move carefully and use their “faults” to their benefit.

morning thoughts

I just realized why this year has been super transformative. I started practicing self love in a different way. I’ve always been so focused on school and its interactions but corona has made me think more about who i am as a person and i’m grateful because i feel like as i learn who i am, I realize how i’m loving everything about my values and how i live my life on my terms. ANd this may be talking from a place of privilege and i wish my people could have more of it, but i know the reality is we were placed in situations that stripped us of our privilege of pride within our culture. We had our culture erased, so we are a young culture compared to many of the immigrants who look down on us. But realistically, we all have...and this goes to show how deceptive white supremacy can be. I just realized that I was about to separate myself from immigrants all who have had some type of colonial power or control over them, we’ve all had the same experience...so why is it so hard for many of them, and i’m referring to any person of color, that is non-black and not a descendant of slavery, to see our experience as how it was for them in their country, how they had to leave their conditions in order to find economic opportunity to provide better life for your family. We all want the same thing, but it looks different here because people think we had a choice. We were designated to certain neighborhoods, denied funding, disinvested in after they used us for labor for over 400 years...hmm okay, so now we are in these neighborhoods...separate but equal right?? riiiggghhhhttt nope that was noootttt the case. So now we head into jim crow era black people, resilient as we are in spirit nature and creativity start to create wealth at a level rivaled by poor white people that placed themselves across the tracks. then what happens the whites come and literally bomb the shit out of it, asserting their dominance as the majority race in america, after WIPING OUT MILLIONS OF NATIVE AMERICANS (which side note, WE DONT SPEND ENOUGH TIME LEARNING ABOUT THIS, how we gonna invade a country and take over it and talk about a democracy hmm okay, only when you are socially, economically, politically in power. ). And now, again black people are in a rebuilding phase, raising up families, advancing in the world as the civil rights movement prior had made SOME whites consider LETTING black folks in the system. But now...drugs get introduced into poor neighborhoods. Ever wonder how? because that’s the question we do not ask enough, who/what introduced drugs into poor neighborhoods? Because now within a capitalist and white supremacist society, drug dealers and drug addicts alike are being created. O and i forgot to mention, gangs, why were they even created? well many black gain originally came about as a means of protection...but guess from who? the whites. yes it eventually turned against each other as the whites continued to emasculate black men making them more hypervigilant about asserting their masculinity, but let’s again look at how things originated. Back to the point of how the black community got to where its at today, you introduce drugs into neighborhoods and then declare a war on drugs. Arrest many people of color who were addicted to these power opiates....sound familiar? does it sound like a current epidemic in America? well it should because as soon as prescription drug addiction became a thing for white america, now it’s time to help, not continue the trend of criminalization that you did for black people, but you know we have to take care of Americans, Americans are dying now at a higher rate....no honey you mean white americans, the pride and joy of america, the home of the brave minorities who have to deal with the land of the free whites that can do whatever they want without consequence. White people in generally can only see the humanity of their own race, and friends or associates or colleagues or respectable/ respectful famous people (ie those aligning with their values) who are minorities. Understand, that unless they have a few solid black friends, and usually those friends do not believe they are a victim of racism because they truly think and believe they are different (i promise, we all put grease in a cup by the sink or stove, bet me), they will not even choose to view you experience as a separate experience from there, like AMerica has been equal the whole time. 

i digress, i’ll write again tomorrow but child i can go on about how blacks are treated in the health system, and fat people but yall not really ready for all that jsut yet lol

2nd anon here! Im amazed the the incredible world building youre creating here, So excited to see this become a fic! But would sacred beings lie dormant until link found the sealed underground hyrule? I do fancy the idea of seeing the spring Dragons fly peacefully around musutafu... I am sad that apparently the races are all gone? Or maybe they adapted to the world of quirks like the zoras became rito in ww, who knows, your choice! ty soo much and take as much time as you need! This is another wonderful question, and one I honestly didn’t even think about, at least in terms of the sacred beings. Honestly you’re doing god’s work out here making me actually think before I dive headfirst into this fic. Anyway, thoughts below the cut, as always! 💙

So, I’m actually gonna start with the other races. I’m not gonna lie, a big part of my goblin brain just went “Tokoyami is a rito and also Revali’s descendant,” which for obvious reasons I’m not going to acknowledge again. However, I think that what happened to the other races is in that sort of vein. 

When you look at all of the races of Hyrule, one of the main things that stands out is how segregated they seem to be. There’s very little interaction between the groups besides travelers, who are mostly hylian with some notable exceptions. I imagine after Link defeats Calamity Ganon in BOTW (as well as, of course, whatever happens in BOTW2) the collective efforts to rebuild Hyrule ends up bringing all the kingdoms a lot closer. Plus, with the example of Terrytown to back up the possibility of a real coexistence between all of them, I don’t think it’s that farfetched to say that maybe a new version of Hyrule emerges, where rather than having individual civilizations occasionally united by a common cause, there’s just one kingdom, split into provinces based on the existing cultures and geographical regions. Though it’s not as important to the BNHA/LOZ fic, I imagine this kingdom would have a council, where each member is a representative of each province, and the council itself is presided over by the king or queen, sort of how a king or queen of a typical kingdom might rule by proxy through whatever nobility their particular nation has. 

Anyway, the people of this new Hyrule, rid of the seemingly self-enforced segregation, inevitably do what people do and get married and have kids and stuff, mixing their respective traits and cultures until eventually something resembling humans comes of it, with the dominant traits of both gerudo and hylians ending up being their appearance, and the resilience and natural resistances (and, unfortunately, weaknesses) of the goron, rito, and zora creating the adaptability humans are known for. Now, that’s not to say the more fantastical traits of the races disappeared. Instead, I think they’d be dormant, at least until quirks eventually develop. Then, it’s sort of a free-for-all, those traits and abilities finally having a way to express themselves in people. So, in a way, the “Tokoyami is a rito” thing is true, just not in the way my brain originally wanted to make happen. Similarly, Tsuyu shows more zora traits, and Tamaki has some hylian features. This is a bit of a messy explanation, admittedly, but it was the best way I could figure out to resolve the issue of all the races and kingdoms disappearing. 

Next, the sacred beings, monsters, and even animals specific to LOZ. I think this comes down to the sheikah again, like with the sealed ruins concept I mentioned in the previous ask. So the sheikah have always been a somewhat insular, isolated community, and I don’t think that would change too much even once the newer version of Hyrule ends up forming. If anything, it might even be incentive to continue isolating themselves. The sheikah as a whole have some deep, sometimes really really dark secrets, whether it’s the advanced technology they invented for use against Ganon, or the way that the shadow temple was essentially just one big torture chamber that they used to interrogate/execute/experiment on those considered an enemy of the Hyrulean royal family. In fact, if you believe certain theories, the redeads featured notably in OOT and WW might be their creations, a mix of dark magic and technology used to create mindless, undead guards. So, the sheikah would obviously not be willing to give that info up, and instead would just keep to themselves for the most part, just as they’ve done since time immemorial in the LOZ universe. Until, eventually, recognizing the fading of Hyrule as a kingdom, and the (seeming) disappearance of Ganon, they seal off much of the ruins, shrines, and temples dotting the land, and using the mix of magic and tech they’re infamous for at this point, they also lock away many of the powerful entities around Hyrule in a type of magical slumber (almost like the chamber of resurrection, but without the prerequisite of dying to use it), along with some rarer creatures at their discretion. This includes the dragons, and possibly one or more of the hinox, lynel, and talus, respectively. 

I too would absolutely love to explore the dragons just doing their thing around Musutafu. Honestly, the idea of Musutafu gradually becoming this haven for magic and hylian/sheikah tech is great in general. Like just imagine, uncorrupted guardians becoming, I don’t know, construction or law enforcement aids? Carrying heavy supplies, checking structure stability, blocking off dangerous areas from civilians during villain attacks, even ferrying people across dangerous terrain during rescue situations. Or getting up early and going to Dagobah beach, the sun rising as Farosh (the green dragon) traces it’s path through the sky, returning to the water just as the sun’s cleared the horizon. Or hiking outside Musutafu, and stopping at the peak to turn and look over the whole city, seeing the divine beasts perched seemingly protectively around the city, silent sentries to ward off all who might try to harm those under it’s protection. I think the spirits of the champions would like that, having someplace to guard and care for after so long.

2. Do any of your OCs have a physical disability? They do not; because I myself don’t/haven’t experienced what its liked to live with a physical disability, I would rather study/educate myself deeply on that topic before creating a character that may have/experience it. I don’t want to make one that could come off as disrespectful in anyway, since it’s a serious matter.

4. Does your OC have anything they take pride in? (like an award or collection?) Yori takes alot of pride in his business that he started with his friends help. They inspired him to live life for himself for once and find something he loved and he managed to do just that, now his business is like his baby. Apart from that he also starred in a few competitions for baking and won a few awards from those as well as his collection of vintage wedding dresses~ his pride and joy.

5. Does your OC have a favorite film? He does not... hmm I feel like he’d be a sucker for sad romance movies, not romcoms but ones where hes like a sobbing mess constantly yelling out BRO.

6. How tall is your OC? I don’t remember how tall i originally made him...I wanna say I said 4 something, but now I wanna have him at least 5′5 or 5′6 (167cm) average height.

Hmmm, as a teenager, yori definitely had an average sort of style (wearing sweaters, school unirforms, cardigans, beanies, like regular scene/hipster teen stuff). But as he grew up and worked along side saga (his fashion designer friend), he was able to find his own certain flare. I’m not sure how to describe it, cause he can go from goth king, to chunky shoe hip cool guy. idk. im not good at describing fashion... i should draw him more to give visuals hmmm. for the most part though, turtle necks and black clothes. but he has moments where he likes to switch it up.

10. Does your OC have any special talents? adapting. and baking. he didn’t realize how good he was at baking until certain stuff starts happening around him and he needs an outlet to suppress negative thoughts. probably the wrong way to go about things, but...realistic in a sense.

Is your OC really bad at something? as a teen he is very bad at keeping his daydreams and reality apart. he thinks everything comes easily ex: Because he and stein are in love, if they move out with little to no preparation (no income, no help, etc.), things will be easy sailing. I guess hes very naive?He was also pretty bad at cooking and generally just taking care of himself overall. As an adult, hes really bad at expressing his emotions, he was amazing as a teen, but now hes very... seclusive.... keeps things bottled in, kinda like he doesn’t want to get hurt, but in a, lol no one can hurt me cause i just wont care/invest.

Yori was originally a wolf, stein was also a wolf, saga a cat, kairi a lamb, celestin a bird (i dont remember what kind, I wanna say swan), Miya a fox, Narci a spider, etc.
