In the chaos they both think the other grabbed Mateo and they grabbed Miles, (so they both call their respective son Miles. no one knows which one was originally which) and they just dont have the resources to find each other again.

time passes, Rio gets her degree and moves to Chicago. Jeff ends up going to live with Aaron until he can get on his feet again but leaves with Miles when hes only a few years old and continues to live in brooklyn.

both miles morales individually get an invite to a (idk space camp or smth very smart like physics camp or smth) camp halfway between their cities. all expenses paid, they just want the next gen or whatever, so both individually agree to go.

Cue they meet and everyone thinks they look the same and get them mixed up and it grows resentment to each other so they fight like two new cats improperly introduced. Then they realize they have more in common than they thought and their life stories seem to oddly compliment the holes in each others stories and by the end of the summer they teach each other how to be themselves and parent trap their parents back together (minus the divorce thing just horrible circumstance and they dont take long to re fall in love and) now they have their family back together with both twins and both parents living happily in brooklyn

Tip 2: to make mashed potatoes easy style get enough small potatoes, fill pot till like. A third the way up with potatoes, cover with water (make sure it barely covered the potatoes), then lightly season with salt. Boil for about 20-40 minutes so they're tender as hell. Pulverize those fucks in a bowl (strained). Add seasoning to your liking (added salt, pepper, onion powder because I wasn't assed to reach for garlic powder, agave syrup / maple, cheese, sour cream. Loosen with water and add half and half (or better cream but. Didn't have it) to liking. Microwave that fucker then rapidly mix so the cheese strings)

adora i accidentally set the timer for my softboiled eggs for 7 hours instead of minutes and by the time i realized they'd already cooked 3 extra minutes too long and are no longer jammy. devastated.

losing it over that tumblr post notes because there really are some people going ??? over putting oregano or veggies in instant ramen. like. have you not had instant ramen with whatever you can find in your kitchen/pantry. that's like basic instant ramen 102. throw whatever veg you have on the soup. yeah you can just boil it together but toasting veggies with herbs and garlic is obviously better though, hot oil opens up herbs, and frying adds a nice texture. broccoli isn't even that weird in pantry instant ramen. it's not some sacred cultural food that requires specific ingredients to be ~ authentic ~ like. it's instant ramen lmao.

Oh yeah. Xavier is a breakfast skipper, much to Storm's chagrin. The most he eats is like a granola bar, and that's an uncommon occurrence. And yeah, Storm is a breakfast food enjoyer! But specifically like, steamed buns. Chinese breakfast foods and the like. They definitely would eat those for every meal if they could. Sometimes they do!

Thinking about Kent from Stardew Valley, I've often wondered why basically all he talks about to you is about his trauma. Like that's fine I guess but I've casually wondered why it's pretty much the only thing he ever talks about to you.

But it just occurred to me that Sam, Vincent, and Jodi note that he doesn't tell them what's wrong. It's surprising to Jodi that he hates the sound of popcorn, Vincent and Sam both note that he's different but they don't know why, he goes to festivals even though crowds and open fields trigger him.

He's trying very badly to hide it but he needs to talk about it. And the farmer has no preexisting ideas about him. Depending on how long he's been gone this time, you may be the only person in town that didn't know him before he went to the front lines. He's trauma dumping to you and only you because he has no idea to live up to in your mind. You're a blank slate. A new relationship. He doesn't have to pretend to be strong around you. He can just be miserable in your presence and you let him and give him roasted hazelnuts sometimes and roasted hazelnuts remind him of his mom and that's basically what your relationship boils down to. You're the person that will stand next to the river with him and go "Damn dude that sucks do you want an egg"
