Why do you think elain is a better fit for azriel than gwyn?

I've said this before, and don't mind saying it again and again million times; I ship story and theme, not characters. I'm not particularly quiet or shy about the fact that I absolutely love Gwyn and Lucien, and I've been met kindly and with respect from my mutuals who absolutely despise those characters or at best find them boring and don't care about them. So- I hope this doesn't come off as sarcastic, because I truly don't mean for it to be, but I don't think I even have the words to express how little I sit here comparing Gwyn and Elain as women and why one of them might be more "right" for Azriel than the other. I don't consider Gwyn as she pertains to Azriel, because I don't believe that she does pertain to Azriel. The story and themes I imagine for her are beyond Prythian, and it literally thrills me to think about what might be in store for her.

I am a huge Twilight of the Gods believer, and I think Gwyn and the Valkyrie are going to play a huge role in it. I actually ship Gwyn with Fenrys, in a borderline this is not a crack ship I really seriously believe it kind of way, and Fenrys is my second fave ToG man to Dorian. Whenever my bestie wants to make me cry randomly (in a good way), she'll send me blinks throughout the day. Iykyk.

And I love shipping Gwynrys (just made that up, open to work shopping for better ship names 😂) because they thematically and story wise make sense to me and excite and deeply move me.

They both are twins who had to witness the other half of their soul be murdered in front of them, then were horrifically SA'd afterwards. They both responded to that trauma with absolute silence- Fenrys remaining in his wolf form because he could not bring himself to speak, and Gwyn remaining silent for five months after returning to the library. If they ever met and discovered they share the same tragic past and they both overcame it to be strong, loyal, and beloved friends- omg. I just got chills typing this. They could stand to connect on that deep level that Feysand shares, that Rowaelin shares, that I obviously think Elriel shares. They could see that depth and pain within in each other in a way no one else could understand, then would be the first to volunteer to stand at the front lines in a war against the gods.

I process SJM's couples as being deeply and thematically connected, and I see that with Gwyn and Fenrys and truly believe side characters who haven't gotten their HEA's will do so in the new series. They had complete arcs that became very cherished by the fandom, and though their emotional and character growth in service of the main characters were complete, their story simply didn't feel quite finished.

Anywho. Now I'm turning this into a Let Me Tell You Why I Ship Gwyn and Fenrys seminar 😂 but honestly, I couldn't say that I don't think Gwyn and Az aren't right or good for each other. They could be if these were real people and we were trying to matchmake character traits. I just don't know what they would be together in the story as it stands now.

Whatever their story would be- it would have to be dripping with more sexual tension and angst and longing than Azriel and Elain have. It would have to be more powerful and more interesting than the Cauldron being wrong, going up against fate, and discovering that the Cauldron has in fact been corrupted. Their partnership would have to do more for the women of the world (as both Nesta and Feyre did in their stories with restoring female High Ladies in Prythian and warriors in Illyria) than what Az and Elain stand to do- get to the bottom of the corruption done by the Asteri, which is likely why unhappy and poorly matched mating bonds exist in Prythian, and fix it. Thus freeing not only themselves, but every woman who stood to be a pawn or an object and forced into a lifetime of misery with a man she didn't love lest she risk violence or spend the rest of her life wondering why she didn't love her mate and if she made a mistake.

I don't personally vibe with or agree with the (admittedly few, I stay out of the G/wynriel space not because I hate the idea of the ship but to protect myself from the conversation surrounding women's birthing abilities making them viable love interests) ideas I've heard about Gwyn and Az. That she will save Illyria- absolutely not. That belongs to Emerie. That she will be a sidekick in a new Nesta POV book. That sounds terrible to me. SJM has spoken on how freaky and hot Azriel's spice is going to be, and I'm supposed to just not want the woman's half of the POV because she's a side character in Nesta and Azriel's story? No thank you. No one has presented a story that I would want to read more than Azriel and Elain's, or a story that I believe makes any sense and is worth erasing all the work put into Az and Elain as far as this year 2024 in HoFaS with confirming the problems with the Cauldron.

Look, I'm still pretty new. I joined this online fandom, my first time ever doing so, this spring after HoFaS left me spiralling with thoughts and ideas of the future of SJM's books. Then I started writing fanfic. Then I started analyzing the text to comfort people who had the same experience as me- being someone who couldn't wait for Az and Elain's book and came online to a shocking, Elain hating bloodbath.

I do think that this shipwar is a very strange phenomenon born of an extreme dislike for Elain, whether people want to admit it or not. Elain and Azriel have all the same elements Feysand and Nessian had to set up their romance, but suddenly narratives that have never happened in the history of SJM have been created to explain it away. The "just lust" narrative literally does not exist in the SJM codex. It's not a thing. But it's a thing now for people who don't like Azriel and Elain together to try to erase Elain's existence and convince the world how it is completely impossible for her book to be next or for her to be with Azriel simply because they don't want those things to be true.

I do not care about whether or not ships are even canon. I could go on and on about all my favorite non canon ships, and times I thought the canon story was dead ass wrong 😂 It just so happens that when it comes to Az and Elain, I ride SO HARD for the canon text. People who ship G/wynriel will likely continue to ship them, and that is what fandom is for. I don't mind that they exist. I do wish everyone, on all sides, was kinder.

To me, the only love triangle exists between Azriel, Elain, and Lucien, which is why most of my theory or analysis posts center around them. I think Gwyn was an incredibly successful (maybe too successful) red herring. My opinion is that the bonus chapter was meant to re-touch on and shine light to her powers, and also create little question mark so it wasn't too obvious Elain and Azriel are endgame when she still hasn't formally rejected her mate since she hasn't had her book yet. Instead, it lit a wildfire for a group of people who were already primed and ready to erase Elain and replace her.

Maybe Gwyn and Azriel as characters removed from this story and put in a different one would be great together. In fact, I'm certain they would. They are great characters and I'm sure they could be written beautifully. I prefer what Az and Elain have got going on, but that's personal preference. I think Gwyn already had a complete arc, and I loved it, and now I'm crawling out of my skin with excitement for Elain's story.

I hope that sort of answers your question. I'm just not really interested in pitting Gwyn and Elain against each other for Azriel's attention, and I don't believe the books actually created or intended that.

...Alright I've been trying to edit this post down for a couple days because I don't want this to come off like an advertisement but I gotta be a heartfelt sap for a moment. It's my nature, can't help it. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️ Skirt review & personal ramblings under the cut:

Shoutout to @shopwitchvamp seriously. This skirt immediately replaced the cargo pants I've been living in the last few years. The fabric is so lovely & comfortable, the deep pockets are amazing, AND I can temperature-regulate in this crazy unpredictable weather!!! Hell yeah!

My partner got this skirt for me as a birthday gift because it reminds me of the digital sakuras in Night City that I keep using for virtual photoshoots but also in this Hot Topic Hello Kitty kinda way that just speaks to my millenial soul (🖤🎀🖤) I mean, obviously I'm in love with the design but the weight & texture & movement really made it an insta-fave in a very meaningful way for me.

And then I realized this is the first new piece of clothing I've owned since pre-pandemic. My body's changed so much that basically nothing fits. I had one pair of pants left that was at its limit and for years I've wore it like a uniform everytime I went outside with a baggy shirt to cover up. I got this skirt and suddenly I was styling outfits again, like wtf?!

So my partner & I realized how desperately our depressed neurodivergent asses needed:

new clothes that actually fit

with comfortable textures & fun patterns

that are actually functional & made to last

preferably from small businesses we respect

...And now we text each other about WV restocks lmao

The only problem is that because we couldn't afford anything from the Feb preorders, we figured we'd save up & see what came back in stock next month. Except it came in a month early. So LUCKILY we've already been saving up for this because now I'm waiting for my second skirt & partner's first joggers to be delivered today! And then they restocked more yesterday! And then they announced more restocks next week! Oof ouch our wallets but at least today's payday and now we actually have fun comfy clothes that fit to celebrate our 10 year anniversary together in a few months! 💕

Goo is one sadistic fucker. Similar to Gun, you would need to overpower him during a fight but he doesn't need the context. Apart from the obvious fighting prowess, Gun would love someone that could easily be playing 5D chess and challenging him.

He's smart and perceptive but if he tells you about his day and you manage to catch something he's missed? Or offer him a better solution? God. He's always done this on his own, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad with you.

You would need a pretty wicked and wild streak yourself to seriously be with someone like Goo. You 2 together are loose cannons and a general danger to society. And your ideas of a date aren't the most... traditional.

Someone pissed Goo off and you suggest some casual arson? Grand theft auto against a guy who parked too close to his precious car? Identity theft of someone that tried to rip him off? Yep babe, you're the one.

It likely will never get to this stage if they get even a whiff of something amiss.

Casually sleeping around is one thing but Gun and Goo are pretty thorough with researching and scoping people out, and that's no different for a potential date. They know the kind of traits they like and respect. If you don't fit the bill, then this ain't happening.

The only real thing both Gun and Goo would hate is if either of them misjudged you. They thought they saw a partner and an equal but you're not measuring up. Either you're too nice or normal or moralistic or just naive. This would never work, they need someone that understands the way of their world. They would have no qualms breaking up or just straight out ghosting you.

Happy Halloween 2023!

This is something long overdue. Even though I stopped posting my commissions on here that doesn't mean I've stopped getting them!

I've especially enjoyed getting Halloween commissions because those are really fun to conceive, order, and see made into reality. I've especially enjoyed getting them from Aeolus06 and he's never disappointed. Sadly due to me being between jobs I couldn't get any this year. :( That said I've decided to use this as an opportunity to show what I've got over the last few years and hopefully you'll love them as much as I do! :)

These first four are unique in that these were all from the same year (2020 to be exact). Since Aeo has a cool down period between commissions, I actually got these all done over a period of a few months. XD Took a lot of luck and prayer, but I got all the ideas I wanted done!

First one was probably the most complex, but was worth it because of how well it fit. Star, Marco, and Hekapoo from Star vs The Forces of Evil as AndrAIa, Matrix, and Older!AndrAIa from Reboot! Much like Matrix, Marco had a bit of age jumping that fit naturally (especially body types and eye scars). Plus Star and Hekapoo are shipped pretty hard with him so it was natural they dress as the different versions of Matrix's lady love.

Also, Fun Fact: Marco's scar/prosthetic eye is on the wrong side compared to his costume, but I felt it was better to ignore it than have Aeo flip the entire costume. XD

Next up we had some classic hotties from Canada, Lindsay and Courtney. Everyone with a pulse will know I'm a Courtney fan, so I'm always eager to give her some love. And while I'm not AS big on Lindsay, she's a fun character and I have some friends who love her too so I didn't mind them sharing the spotlight.

Obviously the theme/inspiration behind this pics conception is the fact Lindsay and Courtney pack the biggest T and A on the island respectively, so they needed some costumes to illustrate that. Thus we got Courtney as everyone's fave lady wrestler Rainbow Mika from Street Fighter and Lindsay as the boxing cheerleader Tiffany Lords from Rival Schools. Both ladies who kick ass and look good doing it! Give these ladies some love folks!

Another Fun Fact: This one took faster to do than I expected, mostly cause I didn't realize my refs were thigh high. In the end I feel it still looked good and didn't bother bringing it up. XD

Here's another cute couple and one I think deserves more love. Eclipsa Butterfly and Globgor are also from SVTFOE and honestly very sweet and adorable. While they're regarded as evil by less tolerant folk, they're honestly some of the sweetest characters you'll see on the show. I feel this is a nice contrast to their costumes, Sindel and Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat. I went with the MK9 versions of their outfits since they were both modern and simple. Didn't wanna be THAT guy who commissions SUPER complicated outfits. I'm not a sadist! While later games would retcon Sindel into being just as evil as Shao (something thankfully corrected in MK1) I still feel this outfit and character works for Eclipsa, even if she and her hubby are as far from evil as you can get. XD

Final pic of this year is another couples pic with Danny Fenton and Paulina Sanchez. I ship these two and take no shame in it. This was originally gonna just be Paulina as Phantom Girl from Legion of Superheroes since the name and colors matched Danny perfectly. But then I figured just having Paulina in costume wouldn't be fair, so I had him dress up as Timberwolf, since I recall them having a few moments in the cartoon. A cartoon, much like this pairing, is very underrated. XD

Now to 2021! This was a fun crossover and and me deciding to avoid "themes" and combining two character pin-ups in one! Once again we have Hekapoo and this year she's dressed up as Otedamako. Who's that? Only my fave Monster of the Day from Sailor Moon! :3 To her side with have a humanoid Rarity showing off her darkside as Martha from Helluva Boss! This one came from the animated opening in G5 that had Rarity showing off some spiky teeth and a crazy look in her eyes. IMMEDIATELY brought Martha too mind. All and all, very happy with how these two came out!

And now to the prior year of 2022. By this point Aeo started coloring the stream commissions and honestly, it was worth the price increase. Dude is a machine! If this one has a theme it's basically me taking the waifus of my close friends (Chill, Terrible, and Raccoon) and dressing them as other sexy waifus. From left to right we have Himiko Toga from My Hero Academia dressed as Harlequin, the Harley Quinn of the Gods and Monsters film. A very hot/underrated design for a VERY twisted take on the character. Toga makes it work! Front and center we have Wilhamena Mettle from OK K.O.! as Starfire, specifically the comic book version for obvious reasons. XD Finally we have Juri Han from Street Fighter dressed in the tight leathers of Penelope Spectra from Danny Phantom, specifically her second form. Lot of specifics in this piece. XD

Final Fun Fact: Was tempted to have Wilhamena as Star Canary, the fusion of Starfire and Black Canary from the Batman/Superman comic. Very hot design. XD

And a bit of a bonus! I ended up really helping out a new friend on deviantART back in 2020 and got to get a bit of art as a thank you. Courtesy of XJKenny we have Meteora Butterfly, daughter of Eclipsa and Globgor as Mileena. Also her MK9 design, this not only works for Meteora herself given her story, but also matches up with her parents' costumes as well!

Well that's everything I wanted to share this year! This has been a rough year for me personally and for the world as a whole. But I'm hoping we can turn things around a bit with what bit of the year we have left.

Daryl POV:

-"You need to take your son and run. Don’t ever come back here."-She disobeyed an order and spared the lives of a poor man and his child.

Pope ordered us to go find "his God damn enemies"... my family,but instead we found a grieving father who ended up leading us to his fatally injured wife and son:his own family.

-"What are you gonna tell Pope?"-I asked her when I lowered my crossbow after ending the mother's suffering.

-"That you killed them. It’ll be good for you."-Leah answered.

She contacted their leader when we found that man in the woods,and Pope had ordered them killed,but the sight of a dying mother and her frightened lil'one,both huddled together,stopped her and brought tears to her blue eyes.She didn't do it, she couldn't pull the trigger.

-"Ya' okay?"- I ask her tentatively, observing her now vulnerable figure.

-"mmm..." -She nodded looking down as the painful memories of her own past flowed again.

-"C'mere."- I didn't know if it was a good idea, but without really thinking about it too much,I get closer to her and wrap her in a hug.

She tenses at first but doesn't fight and ends up giving in,hugging me back.

Having her in my arms again after so long suddenly awakens dormant feelings, memories of our time together in that cabin years ago, in those times when our families weren't trying to kill each other. We stayed like that for a few sweet moments, basking in each other's warmth before we awkwardly pulled away and looked into each other's eyes.

"Can I trust you?"

That silent question was reflected in our gazes.

Can I tell her the truth? Confess her I was lying and that the people Pope wanted to massacre were my family?

My mind was racing, I didn't know what to do but soon she interrupted my thoughts with a kiss that caught me off guard but damn...it felt so good...our lips meeting after so long was like finding water in the fucking Sahara desert...Or maybe it was just a treacherous Oasis,an illusion,a mirage that wouldn't last.

I didn't know what to think but at this moment I didn't care so I immediately kiss her back while my fingers caress her once chestnut but now greyish hair.

Without exchanging any words,

we don't waste the little time we had and immediately began to undress each other to allow ourselves to be carried away by the tense and dangerous passion we'd held for so long.

At this moment we weren't in a ruined room next to a still warm corpse. No, our wounded hearts returned to that old cabin in the woods,no major worries,no stupid wars...just her and I,our bodies intertwined and fitted together in a perfect puzzle.

-"God...Daryl..."- I hear her moan softly against the skin of my neck and that only encourages me to increase the pace and deepen my thrusts.

-"Fuck..."- I murmur while kissing her neck before starting to go down towards her chest where soon my tongue finds what I was looking for, wrapping it around her right nipple and then doing the same with the left one, making her back arch with pleasure as the electricity ran freely through our bodies.

-"Leah..."- I say her name shakily as I feel her tenderly tracing her fingers over the scars on my back and soon we make eye contact as we feel ourselves getting closer and closer to the edge of extasis until soon a great wave of wild pleasure hits us,turning us both into a gasping mess of moans.

We stayed like that for a few precious moments, looking into each other's eyes as we caught our breath before sharing one last kiss, however, the moment is soon interrupted as the voice of a reaper coming from Leah's walkie-talkie brings us out of our little world:

-"Come in, Shaw,we need you back ASAP."

The woman under me sighs heavily before speaking:- "We gotta go."

I nod before pulling out to quickly get dressed.

We made our way back in silence, there was no need to say anything since the sidelong glances that we secretly shared spoke for us. However,upon returning to Meridian, the cloud of peace in which we'd been soon moments ago disappeared,because all the reapers were gathered at the gates, their deranged eyes fixed on the near horizon.

The reason: a herd of walkers was approaching the base and worst of all,I knew Maggie was there,she was already knocking on the door.

I try to show no nervousness as I take in the shitty panorama in front of me.

I look at Leah, she seemed focused, tense and nervous...

I was running out of time...

the title folks. i'm over-confident and i'm sure my fiance is gonna see this like "you can't fight at all" but i once downed a man in a parking lot and i will keep up that energy did this in order of appearance (mostly)

MC — Now why tf would I wanna fight the baddest bitch there is? Before Beau's tale, I might be able to win. Afterwards, she'd probably win. But it's okay, I'm not gonna fight her anyways. WINNER: No one

Aurelio — I would win 100%. I don't have really any reasoning, just that I'm confident. The issue here is, again, I wouldn't want to fight him. Too precious. WINNER: Me

Winter White — He tried to pick MC up and couldn't handle her weight lmao he's kinda weak. I also have weak arms but I have really strong leg muscles and flexibility to kick him in the face. He's my fave but irl I would want to fight him. So creepy. WINNER: Me

Eli — I think he's too nice to beat me up without a really good reason. With that said, if I picked a fight with him, I wouldn't win. He's really nice though so I don't want to pick a fight with him. He's had it rough, why would I add onto that 😭 WINNER: Eli?

Arien — This... Is hard. Technically, Arien bests me in physical strength. He would totally end me if he wasn't a lil' bitchbaby. He's also masochistic so I'm afraid he'd let me get a couple hits in and then I wouldn't want to fight and I'd run away crying. With that said, I really don't like Arien... But is it worth it? Is it worth it? WINNER: . . . Arien???? Maybe???????

Beau — OKAY, he might be able to outsmart me. Not to toot my own horn, I'm pretty smart myself, but if Beau is Sherlock Holmes, I am John Watson (I mean, in intelligence wise, not referencing their relationship at all). He's a genius. With that said, he's also a twink and a bookworm and I have leg muscles for days from soccer and dancing. A couple of well-placed kicks and he's not standing back up. WINNER: Most likely me.

Jasmir — Now why tf am I gonna put a target on my back like that 🤨 The people around Jasmir are batshit nuts. WINNER: Jasmir (by default)

Espen — Depends. If Espen is allowed his ice powers, how tf am I supposed to compete with that? If it's just fists tho and he gets no powers, I'm pretty confident I could win this fight. When's the last time this man went outside to touch grass? Exactly. WINNER: Circumstantial

Anton — Anton might win if only because I'd chicken out and wouldn't be able to fight him. Not out of fear, but he's just... gestures vaguely. He's sweet. WINNER: Anton (by default)

Tyrian — Nah I ain't winning this one y'all. First off, Tyrian is so nice, he works hard, and is a great cook... Why am I gonna challenge him to a fight? If we did fight, for whatever reason though, he would win. And I would let him. He could punch me and I'd thank him. (Please don't though because I'll also cry). WINNER: Tyrian

Charlie — I think I could take him on. IDK why though but punching him feels kind of homophobic, plus I'd have to deal with Tyrian and Charlie's father so... Nah, no thanks WINNER: Me? Maybe?

Rampion — I'm... Not sure. I'm going to say Rampion is gonna win this one, especially if he has a frying pan. WINNER: Probably Rampion

Sen — HAHAHAHAHA. The moment Sen shows even a teensy bit of hostility towards me, I'm fucking BOLTING. This man could snap me in half like a fucking glow stick. Like he's breaking some pasta noodles to fit into a pot. I'm taking this L, there's no way I could fuckin win THAT fight. Fuck that. WINNER: SEN

Alistair — I'm fairly confident I could win against Alistair but it'd be a really dirty fight. He strikes me as the type to scratch and pull hair and do petty shit. But it's okay! I do too, and the difference is is that half the time I do my nails stiletto style so you better watch out babygirl. The only way Alistair would win is if he makes me cry before we fight. Which is definitely possible. WINNER: Physically, me. Verbally, Alistair.

Rojo — why would I fight such a bean 😭 (also, rojo could wreck my shit) WINNER: Rojo

Miriam — Now this feels REALLY homophobic, how tf am I gonna fight her. Why would I do that? Why would I try to fight her? I wanna be besties with her. If we fought, I would let her win hands down. WINNER: Miriam

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING HERE!

I remember getting to the last chapter and being extremely cringed up by the behavior of everybody, especially of jean and reiner, because they were two of my favorite characters and I felt like they went through so much growth just to be used as comic relief, as if the original creator wanted to ease up the tragedy of the whole finale with those skits, which I... do get could have happened still but ugh... I think that there should have been a better way.

also ahead after this spoilers of the ending of aot!

I stg the whole skit with reiner I was like 'is this the same traumatized man who's constantly trying to quit it?' because like I get that maybe it's to show that it's an 'happy' ending but it doesn't erase simply everything they have gone through. especially I feel like this way of portraying him just deleted any chance of healing.

also for ever annoyed about jean ending with mikasa, not just because of him but also because it ruined the relationship that they had been having which I felt like was very much based on a lot of respect. like I don't think that the mikasa that we saw through the story would have married jean and kept on being stuck on even, like it made 0 sense for me for them to end up together. like I don't get why they couldn't keep the two of them as single.

AND PLS THE HISTORIA ENDING WITH A MAN? when it's implied the whole pregnancy and being used against her own will? I... was like... ma'am... pls blink two times if you are in danger.

I low key remember getting to the final chapter and being all happy because my faves survived but after a bit I was like 'is... is that all we got?'. there were, indeed, so many fan theories which had a WHOLE lot more potential ugh.

(also I agree, levi was the sole one whose ending I enjoyed because it felt fitting; it was a good way to portray the effects of everything he had gone through with having still an happy tone to it, which I think should have been a treatment all the other characters deserved)

yes !! i feel like he wanted to create a lighthearted ending but he ended up sacrificing the character development of certain characters and it was just sad to see. they regressed entirely imo. i reread the the last couple of chapters/arc and ik there's a timeskip but they'd been through war and lost so many of their friends and family. wdym they came out unscathed. i agree with what you said it couldve been done in a better way where you can see the progression and healing more.

reiner will forever hurt my heart though like when i saw him sniffing the letter i wanted to bawl. he completely changed, he was a literal shell of a person and i wanted to see his healing more. he was suicidal and had ptsd and it takes time to recover and heal from that, and even then some people never do!

YESSS THANK YOUUU !!! mikasa and jean were very much good friends and had a lot of trust and mutual respect for each other. the only way i can see them getting married is if it's a marriage of convenience for tax benefits or something. i truly don't think mikasa wouldve done that to jean knowing he was a place holder for eren.

i actually wouldnt have minded pieck and jean if i'm being honest. i feel like they would've vibed together and would've gotten along if it wasnt for the whole titan shenanigans.

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WHEN HISTORIA ACTUALLY HAD A CHILD WITH A MANN BECAUSE AS YOU SAID EVERYTHING POINTED TO HER BEING FORCED TO CONCIEVE A CHILD. LIKE WITH EREN VISITING HER, THAT WHOLE DISCUSSION, I TRULY THOUGHT HISTORIA GOT PREGNANT AS A PLOT POINT. her being pregnant was just so inconsequential, a useless detail at the end. and all those panels with her and eren ended up being somewhat useless. i read fan theories with better direction, i remember the whole eren is the father thing and wholeheartedly believed that was going to happen, even though i did NOT want it to.

Blitz x Fizz -Biiiit of a controversial one I know, since ofc Fizzarolli is in a relationship rn/Blitz having his own issues wouldn't spell too much success for a romance atm... but like, ughhh I can't help it they're SO good, man T-T 💕 Like, two torn-apart childhood friends who grow up into a petty rivalry, sassing eachother out whilst learning to work together in danger, hashing out their feelings enough to forgive (whilst taking it slow friendship-wise) BUT also having Blitz stand his ground to protect Fizz at the Mammon event?

Loona x Bee "Peppy x Moody" aesthetics are always a huge soft spot for me in ships, so I couldn't help getting drawn to these gals maybe being more than just "pals" lol ;p

Esp with the potential of Bee not being afraid to call out Loona on her crap (unlike most others who deal with her lol), Loona lowkey finding Bee attractive & super cool (despite still being a lil jealous over her Tex crush), and knowing how intuitive Bee is as a whole... I feel like she'd be the best influence to soften up Loona to get her to express herself & have fun~💖

Bee x Tex Prob my fave (canon) hetero pair atm, I think these two are pretty lovely on their own accord too~ :3 Surprisingly subtle with their affections compared to other couples... but you can still tell how much they fit well given their laidback natures, abilities to "read" people (like Blitz when he got too drunk), and just overall care for eachother in that bit after Bee shrank down to size. Really curious of how they got together ngl (esp given how Hellhounds are pretty low in the hierarchy system as-is), I think it'd be pretty fun to read about~ 🥰

Blitz x Striker Ahhh yes, def a classic in terms of the alternate Blitz ships out there (though I guess not as popular these days, given Striker's current writing .w.; ). From how much they oozed chemistry from their first meeting, Blitz's respect for Striker's skill almost giving them good coworker potential, their similar insecurities/frustrations with Hell's hierarchy system (even with Striker going a more "corrupt" route with it in later appearances... the fact that even he declares that Blitz deserved "better" than how Stolas' treats of him speaks volumes ngl-). Like, there's SO much potential imho; whether its a slowburn-redemption pair, an "flirting-on-opposing sides" pair, a "come to the dark side- we have cookies~" pair... the possibilities are endless~ 👀❤️

Blitz x Mrs. Mayberry

-Ok, now this one's proooobably the least popular overall of the Blitz ships out there... but idk, just thought it'd be a cute idea the more I thought about it lol .3.

Blitz may be a goofy lil jerk, but he's clearly a devoted family man at heart whenever you see him with his loved ones (Loona, Fizz, occasionally M&M, etc.). And with Mayberry having that strong desire for a family (despite how she was cheated/unfairly-bashed on after her death), I feel like she'd lowkey be a sweet influence to balance Blitz's chaotic nature (whilst he'd be able to make her laugh/bring "excitement" to her current life in Hell). Idk, just something light & cute like that, yknow? :3 💜

*claps my hands together giddily* my time to shine, thanks Casey! Honestly it's going to be the hardest to narrow down solely to just five. I'm only going to be including characters from the films (otherwise this would be a very different list) and I'm running on the basis that they don't have a huge role in affecting the plot and primarily function as background characters (so no Paige or Zorii or Kaydel on this list, but know that I adore them)

Snap Wexley. Although technically my love for Snap is definitely born a little bit out of the Poe comics, I still adore the moments we get of him in the movies, rare as they are. That quick little shot at the end of tfa where we see him and Poe looking excitedly at each other in the bg when the map is complete? I adore them both so much. Shout out to Poe's canon bestie, and also bigger shout out to Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga for going "he's fine nothing happened on Exegol what the fuck are you talking about"

Tallie Lintra. MY LOVE. MY ABSOLUTE BELOVED I'M SO SORRY THAT EMO ASS BLEW UP THE HANGAR YOU WERE IN...anyway, I just love the vibe that Tallie gives off in her few scenes we see of her. Plus an A-Wing pilot?? FUCK YEAH. I'm always gonna adore A-Wing pilots (I have a soft spot for A-Wings, my dad gave me a toy A-Wing as a kid)

C'ai Threnalli. I just love C'ai. Running theme here in that all my faves are pilots (is anyone shocked? I mean, really?). He seems like an absolute sweetie. I love the canon details we got of him outside the movie as well - that he's one of Poe's frequent wingman and understands Poe pretty well/they're close because of it, and that C'ai doesn't speak Basic. Also the hug between him and Poe at the end of tlj is SO SOFT and sWEET I love it sm. I also just realized a couple weeks ago that you can actually hear Poe say his name, so I finally know how to pronounce it (it's said like Kai)

Beaumont Kin. Beaumont you funky little autism, you. I love the fact that his scenes in tros is just him infodumping about his special interest. This man was a professor before he joined the Resistance? He's estranged from his shitty family, has a special interest in the old republic (and altho now it's not on wookieepedia i swear at one point it was canon he had visited like - some sith planets to take a look at the historical sites).

Captain Canady. The one and only First Order fella to make the list. Why is he on here? Because for reasons unknown even to me, I love him? He's so exasperated in the like....five minutes of screentime he has in tlj, and looks like he's 0.5 seconds away from materializing off that dreadnought onto the Finalizer to throttle Hux, which is...valid as hell, and funny as fuck to watch.

Huffing quietly, you tuck your nose further into the edge of the comforter, knees scrunched into your stomach, staring straight ahead.

"I miss you," he switches tactics, momentary contentment flitting across his face as your scent softens... concern returning to his brow as you stiffen once more.

If you missed me, then you wouldn't be leaving is your unspoken bitterness, sourness in the way you bite your lip as you continue ignoring him.

Shut up you swallow tightly, eyes glistening at his touch, involuntarily linking your fingers with his, silent relief loosening your lungs as his own relief—a sigh—grazes audible against your skin.

"I never want to leave," whispered into your hair, "I always want to stay here," body curving tender and confident around yours, "After this conference, I'm going to tell them I can't travel for such extended periods anymore."

That grabs your attention, eyes widening as you roll over abruptly, forehead nearly bumping his.

"You're kidding?!"

A simple, warm smile tugs at his mouth, his leg nudging itself between yours, hopeful and longing scents melting into each other as you finally meet his gaze.

"Not in the slightest."

"You promise?"

Because you couldn't take it if he didn't.

"With all that I am."

Today I was finally gonna execute my plan to get y/n, or at least grow a little closer to him.

I'd been Watching him for a while now, taking notes on his new favorite bands and biases, the games he was talking about and playing, i even hacked into his internet history to see what he was doing lately.

Which gave me some great information.

I knew gaming club was today and I'd seen him go to meet up with a couple friends there while I was having practice back in the fall.

I walked in and saw y/n talking to his friend while they played some Xbox game from their phones.

Deciding to sit somewhat close to them and do the same, making sure to specifically pick his new favorite game.

I'd already beaten it, along with all of his other favorite games, and a few I'd thought he'd like so he wouldn't catch on to my copycat behavior.

That's why it took so long for me to talk to him, I had to plan and research throughly.

As soon as I got to a cut scene I'd noticed y/n lifted his head to look at me and my phone screen.

"You like (f/g)!?"

"Ya, it's really immersing."

"How do you feel about (other fave game)"

"It was great, pretty hard but I really loved the graphics"

"Wow, I didn't know a jock could have such good taste."

"Ya, I don't fall in with stereotypes."

"I was wondering why you haven't called anyone here a slur yet."

I laughed and smiled at him again.

"You know if you like (f/g) and (o/f/g) I'd be happy to show you my collection later today, if you wouldn't mind coming over."

He looked towards his friend as they gave him a glare.

"Oh don't be such a pessimist, of course, I can come over today."

I couldn't help the smirk that formed on my face, I knew he was pretty naive which was what grew my fondness of him, but I didn't actually think just asking him would work.

He was almost in the palm of my hand, and if I played my cards right he'd be mine.

"Well whenever you want to go we can."

"Oh ok, just let me get my stuff together here, I'll text you when I get there ok."

He said the last thing to his friend as he swung his bag over his back.

I smiled as we walked out of the school, feeling the cold stare of y/n's friend.

I'm sure they were just protective of him, but that won't be needed anymore, not when he has me.

"Do you want the aux?"

"Well, I don't know if you'll like my music taste."

"Ah I don't judge, all music is pretty good."

He started to play Polaroid love by enhypen as I pulled out of the school lot and drove to my house.

I could tell he had started to become a bit nervous.

"Is everything alright?"

"Ya I just.."

"Your worried I bite aren't you, well I promise I don't, not to hard at least."

I smirked and the rest of the ride was quiet.

We pulled into my driveway as sugar rush by txt played on the radio.

A fitting song for what would entail.

We headed up the stairs to my room as he followed me shyly.

Once he saw the shelf with all the games on it his eyes lit up.

"Woah! Do you mind if I look through these?"

"Not at all."

He started to flip through the cases, pulling some out to look at them as I sat on my bed watching him.

It was adorable how excited he was, making my mind linger on how amazing it would be for me to finally corrupt him the way I'd been planning too.

"Would you like anything to drink?"

"Um alright, what do you have?"

"I think we have coke and Sprite."

"Cokes fine."

I left the room to grab them, making sure to turn up the heat and add something extra to his drink.

I walked in and handed him the glass which he accepted and started to drink.

"Your room is really nice."

"Oh, thank you, I try to keep it as clean as I can."

"Ya.. me t-to."

"Is something wrong y/n?"

"Ya ya, it's just, is it h-hot in here or."

"I feel fine, maybe try taking off your hoodie."

"Maybe I should just go home."

"Oh no darling, I wouldn't want you to get any worse, I'll get you some medicine and you can stay here til it passes."

I grabbed the hem of his hoodie and helped him take it off.

He was like putty in my hands, the aphrodisiac was making him more and more trusting by the second.

I wrapped an arm around his waist and led him to the bed laying him down.

I leaned down to his ear

"Doesn't that feel much better?"

I could practically see the shiver it sent down his spine as he nodded.

"Just let me take care of you, alright?"

"A-alright."

I smirked into his neck starting to kiss and suck at the skin.

He placed his hands on my shoulders, squeezing them every now and then as he whimpered and mewled.

My hands slipped up his shirt, starting to feel around his chest, playing with his nipples.

I started to trail kisses and hickeys further down his body body before I got to the hem of his pants.

I looked up at him waiting for a nod to continue which he did before hiding his face behind his arm embarrassed.

I continued to unbutton his pants and pull them off of him.

I knew he was beautiful, but I never thought he'd look this amazing.

I pulled down his boxers and took him into my mouth making him grab the sheets and moan out.

His body shook, i could tell he'd never experienced this kind of pleasure before.

Sliding my hand back up his body I placed two fingers on his lip.

He opened his mouth quickly starting to suck on them.

After a few seconds I took them out and used my other hand to spread his legs.

I started to stretch him with one finger before adding the second.

He continued to shake and moan as I continued the sensations.

I took my fingers out of him and pulled my mouth off starting to position myself.

He looked up at me with glazed eyes and drool spilling from his lips.

I grabbed his chin and rubbed my thumb over his lip.

I leaned down to kiss him as I pushed in.

Y/n grabbed my shoulders again, this time squeezing harder and digging his nails into me.

We disconnected as a Trail of saliva kept us together.

His entire body was flushed, and his face had contorted into one of absolute pleasure and bliss.

He could barely talk or think, all he could do at this point was moan and whimper.

I wrapped my hand around him starting to stroke him with a fast pace and a hard grip making him practically scream and cum all over himself.

I laughed as he whined out, still not letting go or slowing my pace.

There have been a huge number of famous guest stars on Star Trek over the years, so we're going to take this season by season and then have a face-off between the most voted in each series. Basically a bracket, minus the planning :). Each poll will have the same criteria: 1) they must be famous before being on Star Trek, 2) they cannot be a titled main character, and 3) when I can't fit everyone in I'm using my best judgment.

Frank Gorshin as Bele (s3ep15 Let That Be Your Last Battlefield) Previously the Riddler on the 60's Batman & a standup comic who opened on the Sullivan show for the first US Beatles appearance.

2. Ted Cassidy as Ruk (s1ep9 What are Little Girls Made Of?). Previously the voice of the Martian (Angry Red Planet), and Lurch (The Addams Family)

3. Julie Newmar as Eleen (s2ep3 Friday's Child). Previously Catwoman on Batman, and the android titular Rhoda on My Living Doll (the character who inspired Seven of Nine's name)

4. Ricardo Montálban as Khan Noonien Singh (s1ep24 Space Seed & Star Trek II). Ricardo has a long career, starting with musicals and short films in the US in 1940-41. He moved home to care for his dying mother, and became a famous Mexican Movie star in the 40's, starring in over a dozen movies. In the late 40's he returned to the US, and US Hollywood. In 1949 he was the first Hispanic Person to appear on the cover of Life Magazine. He continued to star in many movies, TV shows, and Broadway productions leading up to his first TOS appearance.

5. Michael Dunn as Alexander (s3ep12 Plato's Stepchildren). Previously Dr. Miguelito Loveless on The Wild West and Mr Big on Get Smart. Also Considered by Gene Roddenberry for the role of "Spock" in the Star Trek pilot The Cage!

6. Lee Meriwether as Losira (s3ep16 That Which Survives). Previously 1955 Ms America, Catwoman on Batman, and Tracey, Anna Rojak on Mission Impossible.

7. John Larroquette as Maltz (Star Trek III). Previously Dan Fielding on Night Count, Dr Paul Herman on Doctor's Hospital, and Second Lieutenant Robert "Bob" Anderson on Baa Baa Black Sheep.

8. Christopher Lloyd as Kruge (Star Trek III). Previously Reverend Jim Ignatowski on Taxi (a character who cannonically loved Star Trek), Phillip Semenko on Cheers, and Taber in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

9. Madge Sinclair as Captain (Star Trek IV). Previously Nurse Ernestine on Trapper John MD, and Bell Reynolds in Roots. She was the first on-screen female captain in Star Trek. She later went on to play Geordi's mom in TNG - the 4th role in which she played Levar Burton's Mother.

10. Iman as Martia (Star Trek VI). Previously a supermodel, Cynthia in L.A. Story (alongside Sir Pat Stew), Nina Beka in No Way Out, Mariammo in Out of Africa, and Lois Blyth & Dakotah in Miami Vice.
