author's note: i have not posted a fic in so long. ive been so busy but that doesnt matter. the new episode had me feeling some type of way so here you go. its kinda short but i didnt want to expand without seeing hunter and wrecker's reaction to crosshair being back.

“I had help.”

The last few months had been terrible. From losing Tech and then losing Omega to the empire. Spending everyday looking for her with no success. Nothing was ok. All of us were miserable. Our family was being torn apart and there was nothing we could do about it. It couldn’t have gotten any worse.

Getting the comm from Omega was one of the best things to ever happen to us, but seeing her running down from the ship was even better. Embracing her, knowing she was safe, felt better than anything had. Things were starting to feel right again. All it took was one hug from Omega.

But then he walked off the cargo ship and everything in my body froze. He looked so different. He had been gone for so long that I thought the feelings had disappeared. Seeing him there, I knew they never were.

I forgot what it was like to be near him. I forgot how my heart sped up and how my head felt dizzy. I forgot how he smelled and how warm he was. I forgot how much I loved him.

After Kaller, nothing was ever the same. He wasn’t the same. The chip had changed him. The Empire had changed him.

He let us go on Kamino. The same day you had told him you loved him. On the platform before we left, with tears in my eyes. I told him I loved him.

“You shouldn’t.”

“Crosshair, please,” you whispered. He could hear the way your voice was breaking. You couldn’t lose him again.

When he didn’t say anything, you turned to walk away. Typical Crosshair to not say anything. He grabbed your wrist as you started walking.

“I love you.”

You stared at him. Your tears threatened to spill out from his confession.

“But I can’t come with you. You deserve better. This is where I want to be. With the Empire.”

I should have dragged him to the ship. I should have done more. But what more could you do when he didn’t want to be there. He wanted to be with the Empire.

Why couldn’t he have just came with you that day?

No one moved. Everyone was just as shocked to see him. No one knew what he was going to do, how he was going to react. He had tried to kill us before, but he had also let us go. No one trusted him anymore. You chose to remember how he had let us go.

You were the first one to move. Slowly, I stepped out from behind Wrecker. Every step I took towards him was filled with anxiety. It had been too long.

He doesn’t want to see me.

Is he still him?

Why did he come then?

Why would he still be here if he didn’t want to be?

You stopped a few feet in front of him. I could see how tired he looked from where I was standing. I couldn’t stand seeing him like this. It hurt so much. He had been through so much since Kamino.

What did they do to him?

I couldn’t stand there anymore. I ran the few feet that were left in between us. I wasn’t sure if he would push me away. As I got close to him, I fell right into his arms. I didn’t realize just how much I had missed him until this moment. He wrapped his arms around me in the tightest embrace I’ve ever had. It had been too long since I had felt him. He was safe. He was here.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered after a few minutes, so quietly that you barely heard it.

I looked up at him. He had tears that were threatening to spill over. Your heart broke at the look on his face.

“Shh. Not now. Just let me hold you.”

You stood there for what felt like an eternity just holding each other. Quiet tears were spiling from both of your eyes.

“I love you,” he whispered into your hair. His arms tightened around you again, as if he was afraid you would disappear.

It would be hard to forgive. Hard for everyone, not just you. So much had happened. But for now, all that mattered was that him and Omega were safe. Omega was home. Crosshair was home.

“I love you too.”

Hello! I saw requests were open and thought you may like this prompt

Imagine reader was in some way, shape, or form really good at flying a ship. It doesn't matter what kind it is, they can fly it. And din and reader are being chased by pirates or something like that, and the reader takes over flying while din goes off to do something, and all of a sudden their doing Barrel rolls and death drops making all the cargo fly everywhere (it would be hilarious if this is new information to din and he didnt know reader could do this)

This is just a silly little thought i had. You can add onto it and change it however you like (if you could add like mild tension of any kind i would be very grateful!) Love ya!

Din’s breathless voice came through the com, “Get the ship started.”

You could tell he was running from the sound of blaster fire. Another failed bounty, you could only assume, for the third time in a row.

Things weren't looking so good for the two of you. Your partnership with the bounty hunter started with Grogu, getting him to the Jedi safely, and with Grogu gone now, things were tense. You didn't know where your partnership stood anymore, what it meant now that the mission was done.

You bring the engine to life with the flip of a few switches absentmindedly.

When you heard the clamoring of boots against steel, you shot up from the pilot seat and took your place in the co-pilot seat. Din came in seconds later, sliding into the pilot seat and getting the ship in the air.

“Hurt?” you muttered, fingers twitching in your lap as you await an answer.

He didn't respond, but his fingers curled around the wheel.

“I don't think they're following us. I’ll be back.”

He slipped out of the chair, switching into autopilot, and the door with a slight limp, disappearing down the ladder.

You sighed. He always lets you patch him up, at least before. Was it really time to move on? Was this his way of telling you he didn't need you anymore?

In your wandering thoughts, you failed to notice the tailing ship until shots blasted past the wings of the ship. Your mind and body jolted into action, slipping into the captain's chair.

Sharp, calculated maneuvers had the ship diving and twisting to avoid being shot.

You could hear the clamor of things in the cargo hold being thrown around, including Din. He was cursing, grunting, being shoved against the cramped walls of the hold.

Eventually, you managed to lose the pirates once again, settling back into the pilot's seat and hearing Din clamor back up the ladder into the cockpit.

“What the hell were you doing?” Din snapped, spinning your chair around.

His tone made you bristle. “Saving our asses. Those pirates were on us,” you retorted.

“Yes, but your piloting was reckless. You should've called me.”

“Sorry if I'm a little rusty,” you huffed. You hadn't been able to practice your piloting skills since Din always flew. It was his ship after all, and you were always busy with Grogu to chip in. “If you don't like my piloting, then I'll go. Seems like lately, you don't need my help with anything. So, what am I still doing here?”

There it was. The topic you'd been too afraid to broach. Your throat tightened, and suddenly you realized the fatigue in your muscles pulling your body to the ground.

You're glad you don't have to see his face. The silence is enough. You had to go.

“I'm going to bed. I'm sure you’ve got this handled.” You left the pilot seat and brushed past him.

Sleep didn't come easy which was why you could hear Din approaching your cot. He paused at your bedside, and you could feel his gaze on your back.

You turned over and looked at him with narrowed eyes, waiting for him to speak up.

“I didn't know you knew how to pilot,” he started, easing down onto one of the crates. You picked up on the faint hiss he let out and the way his body slumped to one side.

“Well, you don't know a lot about me.” You didn't mean for it to come out so harsh, but maybe it's a truth the both of you needed to hear. When you reflected on your journey together, neither of you had ever been open to one another. As someone who only ever had themselves to rely on, being vulnerable was foreign to you. Now you were losing Din because of it.

Just when your chest started to constrict, he finally said just enough for you to hear, “I'd like to.”

Your eyes widened, your mouth moving to speak, but the words were lost. In reality, you didn’t know how to say you wanted that too.

“I don't want you to leave. We… work well together,” he confessed.

You sat up, heart hammering in your chest as you stared at him, and nodded. “Okay, I'll stay.”

There were a lot of things the two of you had to work on, but you were glad this wasn't the end.

I love Rakna Kadakis design so imagine my disappointment when I unlocked her armor and it was giving kitschy, discount Vaal Hazak.

Design rant under the cut:

Rakna Kadakis Monster Design is clearly based on traditional Japanese wedding dress. So I was really disappointed by her lackluster armor design.

It has a very cheap and kitschy feel to it, which isnt helped by the tacked on roses and rubbery looking spider silk.

Rakna Kadakis Armor runs into a similar problem as some other Monster Hunter armors, I find. Where the armor isnt borrowing enough visually from the Monster its supposedly made of (often times its the color scheme that suffers) and in this case its both.

I'm guessing they went with a western bridal design since Mizutsunes Armor is already based on the Shiromuku but i feel like A: that theres enough visual differences between the Monsters and B: I have enough trust left in the designers that they probably couldve made it feel unique from Mizu.

Raknas Armor design is a missed oppurtunity in my book because the designers didnt cash in on either angle that couldve been taken with this design.

Angle 1: as we've already discussed, is the Shiromuku. It wouldve fit like a glove since Rakna Kadakis Hood already looks like a Wataboshi and her two front legs give off the same feel as long kimono sleeves.

(I feel the need to note that I am not japanese, so my interpretation might still be flawed despite my utmost efforts to get the Shiromuku right. I referenced both the Mizutsune Armor and Chihirohowe's guide about Ofurisode as best as I could)

Angle 2: Especially with a spider design to me, always screams, Bustle Gowns! While not explicitly bridal related, it still wouldve worked better to capture the overall feel of a spiders silhouette. Additionally, it's not like people didnt get married during the Bustle gown Era. I will admit that the Bonnet I used probably(?) wasnt in fashion anymore during the 1870 but not using a Bonnet as an alternate take for Rakna Kadakis Hood is a bigger missed opportunity me thinks. I tried to make both versions as such that the spidersilk hides the hard chitin that the entire body is covered in. So that the wearer looks softer and appears more harmless.

MASTERLIST! – JOIN THE TAGLIST!

The two of you running hand and hand through the school corridors of your elementary, running to the playground after wolfing down your lunch. You pat hunters head as you were taller than him, his eyebrows furrowing as he looks up at you.

Now hes looking down at you, a hand still intertwined with yours as the other holds your waist, swaying you back and forth with a gentle smile on his face. The warm lighting of the highschool prom colors his face well.

His newfound awkwardness almost as tall as his height, you were a little shocked that he asked you to dance. His voice deeper and the pink tint complimenting his cheeks, he avoids your eyes, a hand scratching the back of his neck.

Hes been avoiding you lately, his sentences always studdered and the air suddenly heavy. But maybe he was too busy thinking about you that he didnt notice his actions. As you grew older and older, he found this desire to hold you, tickle your chin, just be with you in general.

Maybe thats why his heart skipped a beat when he saw you in that beautiful red dress, his mind going back to your middle school days; how he would help you to a book that was placed on highest shelf, his doe eyes looking down at you. He felt this nervousness he never felt before, pressing the book against your chest before asking you to lunch. Why was he so shy?

You grew up so well, your hair flowing and your eyes slightly bigger. A pretty smile always on your face and your brain expanding daily. He admired you from afar, from up close, anywhere he could find you.

And now that hes older, he tries changing himself to be man you desire; someone whos easy going, but takes your feelings very seriously. It was kind of easy, since hes known you for so long. But doubts still run through his mind, questioning if he'll be with someone that'll ever be as good as you. He needed you.

But when you slip your hand into his, his thoughts wash away, his heart thumping and his adams apple bobbing. God, you were so pretty. It was a little silly about your affect of holding his hand; you've done it ever since you were little, your habit of giving him soft head pets and teasing him for his shortness.

But now you cant reach his head, a smirk quipped on his face whenever its his turn to tease you. He loves the way you would pout, dropping your pretty bottom lip while thinking of a comeback to his insult. He wanted to kiss the pout off of your lips.

And how pretty you looked when you smiled, your sweet laughter ringing in his ears. He wished he could record it, playing it whenever he missed you dearly, even if its been a couple hours. Thats probably the reason why he was staring at you so much tonight, his eyes never leaving yours as he sways you back and forth, content and love in his expression.

He pushes a strand of hair behind your ear, muttering the words "so pretty" as his mind took mental pictures of you, how your dress was hugging your body so well, and how you were looking up at him, filled with so much fondness that he could melt.

He never wanted to forget this moment, the smell of your shampoo covering his nose as he softly kisses your head, something he always did to comfort you. Watching as your eyes fluttered close, he couldnt take it anymore, his hands leaving yours and your sides and cupping your cheeks, his thumb rubbing on your skin.

"Can I.." he whispers although you could hear him perfectly, his heart catching up with his staggered breaths as he continues to stare in your eyes. "..take one more inch?" He always felt like he was so close but so far, like if you let go of his hand you would land in someone elses, a small, tiny jealously burning inside of him, and the selfishness to keep you for himself, that you were his, he was yours. 

After what feels forever, you let out a soft nod, hunter taking one step, then another until hes hunched over at your level, his hands gently lifting your head to place his plump lips onto yours. He does it with so much care and precision that it leaves shivers down your spine, hunter breaking the kiss to stare into your soft eyes.

Then he leans in again, his eyes fluttered closed as he feels the world stop, the soft music fading and the light murmurring of the other students and their partners disappearing. What mattered was you, he was only thinking you, he needed you, he needed you to be his, he needed to kiss you repeatedly.

His lips move in a soft pace, savoring the flavor of your vanilla bean lip bomb; a small sigh leaving his lips as you lightly tug his hair, your small hands playing with it. He finally breaks the kiss, his cheeks painted pink again as his hands that cupped your face was sinking down to your waist. Your arms around his neck as his eyes were still fluttered shut, swaying your body back and forth as little shivers leave his being.

His eyes open to finds yours staring at him fondly, studying his facials and a small smile on your face. His doe eyes, squishy cheeks, and plump, light pink lips making you melt. He wanted to cherish you forever.

On some days— your worst, your insecurities skyrocketed. You’d stand before the mirror, wishing for everything to go away.Your insecurities had such a far range, from yourself and your body and habits, to your boyfriend and those who surrounded him.

To you, it just was that everyone around Aki was perfect—beautiful, strong, assertive—and you were, well, you. You weren’t a beautiful boss, or a strong devil hunter with a team to lead. You were a normal person with a normal job.

Aki never understood your insecurities. You were his world, his safe space, where he went for advice. He knew about your ‘days’, and just couldn’t understand. You’re so perfect— whats there to be sad about?

He knows to—sometimes—leave you alone during times like this. Things like these are personal battles and you cant overcome them with help—its a battle of your own mind and how you see yourself. He can only help you in the aftermath.

Sometimes, during these ‘episodes, you’d just listen to music on an outdated music player, with an old play going on in the background.

He knocked on the bedroom door, just coming back from work.

“..[name]? are you in there?” He noticed that Denji and Power weren’t home yet—it was so quiet. ‘I wonder what they’re fucking up now,’ he thought as he twisted the door handle open.

He slowly opened the door to find you sitting on the bed, head on a pillow, with your eyes at the cealing.

“..[name]?” He looked at you oddly. “Are you awake?”

Your gaze slowly shifted from the ceiling to his tall frame, peeking through the door. He looked so handsome, so effortlessly. He was also just so caring, so sweet. An amazing boyfriend. Multiple times, you’d ‘joke’ and say that he was too good for you.

“Aki,” you sighed, happy that it was him and not Power or Denji—you loved them, sure, but they were both insanely loud and ignorant, and at the moment, you couldn’t take the noise. You covered up the sigh with a light laugh, “Im sorry, I didnt hear you come through the door- come, sit.” You patted the sheets near you so he could sit next to you, exactly where he liked to be. But something was off.

He slowly shuffled over to sit next to you, as you propped yourself up again to lie down. He bent over to give you a quick kiss that seemed to put you deep in thought.

“ [Name], what’re you thinking about?” He seemed so confused and concerned—He was so genuine.

“I was just feeling so insecure,” you started, taking a deep breath before finishing, “so insecure that you might not love me anymore.”

A moment of silence filled the room before he let out a fake cough. “..why is that?” He was perplexed. Hasn’t he been taking care of you? Showing you affection?

You took a deep breath—what you were about to say was going to take a whole lot of guts, but it’ll also get so much off of your chest. You knew it was better to talk about your problems and come to a helpful agreement.

“Himeno.” Her name came out like a cracked whisper, maybe even a sob. “Himeno,..shes a reason that I feel like that.Shes always so close to you, so touchy. To any outsider, it looks like you both are dating.”

You turned over to the wall so you wouldn’t face him. You sounded so stupid. But you tried so hard for him, and he knew. At this point, you didn’t even know if he was being oblivious on purpose. How could a man not notice how close she was?

“ [Name], you know I dont like Himeno, we’re just co-workers. Sometimes, I even find her antics annoying.” He rubbed your back as he spoke, then leaned down to plant a kiss to the side of your neck.

“I dont know what i have to do to prove it to you, but I really dont like Himeno like how I like you.” He moved his body so he’d be getting off the bed.

“I’ll leave you in here. Tell me if theres anything you need,alright?” He walked to the door and almost finished closing it when you turned over a bit.

wow. i liked kate's speech at the end. Dean doesn't contradict himself. When Dean killed Amy, my thoughts about him started to collapse. Then I thought about it and I think I understand Dean's perspective on monsters well now. And Dean still hasn't contradicted this point of view. Dean's point of view: If the monster has killed people, there is no return, but if it hasn't killed anyone yet, then there is a possibility of return. and I understand and love that perspective.

dean's flasback scenes reminds me of arrow oliver queen's flashback scenes. vampirates, i love how dean's face and how much he's proud of that name when he suggests new species a name. i love benny. well, Benny seems to be the exception to Dean's rule, but again benny is not the same as Amy. Amy would kill again for her son, but Benny hasn't killed for a while and I don't think he will. Dean believes in Benny and I believe in Dean. so i hope benny wont fail us.

The two of you running hand and hand through the school corridors of your elementary, running to the playground after wolfing down your lunch. You pat hunters head as you were taller than him, his eyebrows furrowing as he looks up at you.

Now hes looking down at you, a hand still intertwined with yours as the other holds your waist, swaying you back and forth with a gentle smile on his face. The warm lighting of the highschool prom colors his face well.

His newfound awkwardness almost as tall as his height, you were a little shocked that he asked you to dance. His voice deeper and the pink tint complimenting his cheeks, he avoids your eyes, a hand scratching the back of his neck.

Hes been avoiding you lately, his sentences always studdered and the air suddenly heavy. But maybe he was too busy thinking about you that he didnt notice his actions. As you grew older and older, he found this desire to hold you, tickle your chin, just be with you in general.

Maybe thats why his heart skipped a beat when he saw you in that beautiful red dress, his mind going back to your middle school days; how he would help you to a book that was placed on highest shelf, his doe eyes looking down at you. He felt this nervousness he never felt before, pressing the book against your chest before asking you to lunch. Why was he so shy?

You grew up so well, your hair flowing and your eyes slightly bigger. A pretty smile always on your face and your brain expanding daily. He admired you from afar, from up close, anywhere he could find you.

And now that hes older, he tries changing himself to be man you desire; someone whos easy going, but takes your feelings very seriously. It was kind of easy, since hes known you for so long. But doubts still run through his mind, questioning if he'll be with someone that'll ever be as good as you. He needed you.

But when you slip your hand into his, his thoughts wash away, his heart thumping and his adams apple bobbing. God, you were so pretty. It was a little silly about your affect of holding his hand; you've done it ever since you were little, your habit of giving him soft head pets and teasing him for his shortness.

But now you cant reach his head, a smirk quipped on his face whenever its his turn to tease you. He loves the way you would pout, dropping your pretty bottom lip while thinking of a comeback to his insult. He wanted to kiss the pout off of your lips.

And how pretty you looked when you smiled, your sweet laughter ringing in his ears. He wished he could record it, playing it whenever he missed you dearly, even if its been a couple hours. Thats probably the reason why he was staring at you so much tonight, his eyes never leaving yours as he sways you back and forth, content and love in his expression.

He pushes a strand of hair behind your ear, muttering the words "so pretty" as his mind took mental pictures of you, how your dress was hugging your body so well, and how you were looking up at him, filled with so much fondness that he could melt.

He never wanted to forget this moment, the smell of your shampoo covering his nose as he softly kisses your head, something he always did to comfort you. Watching as your eyes fluttered close, he couldnt take it anymore, his hands leaving yours and your sides and cupping your cheeks, his thumb rubbing on your skin.

"Can I.." he whispers although you could hear him perfectly, his heart catching up with his staggered breaths as he continues to stare in your eyes. "..take one more inch?" He always felt like he was so close but so far, like if you let go of his hand you would land in someone elses, a small, tiny jealously burning inside of him, and the selfishness to keep you for himself, that you were his, he was yours. 

After what feels forever, you let out a soft nod, hunter taking one step, then another until hes hunched over at your level, his hands gently lifting your head to place his plump lips onto yours. He does it with so much care and precision that it leaves shivers down your spine, hunter breaking the kiss to stare into your soft eyes.

Then he leans in again, his eyes fluttered closed as he feels the world stop, the soft music fading and the light murmurring of the other students and their partners disappearing. What mattered was you, he was only thinking you, he needed you, he needed you to be his, he needed to kiss you repeatedly.

His lips move in a soft pace, savoring the flavor of your vanilla bean lip bomb; a small sigh leaving his lips as you lightly tug his hair, your small hands playing with it. He finally breaks the kiss, his cheeks painted pink again as his hands that cupped your face was sinking down to your waist. Your arms around his neck as his eyes were still fluttered shut, swaying your body back and forth as little shivers leave his being.

His eyes open to finds yours staring at him fondly, studying his facials and a small smile on your face. His doe eyes, squishy cheeks, and plump, light pink lips making you melt. He wanted to cherish you forever.

ok i was bored so heres my slugcat tierlist judged entirely by gameplay/the campaign. not many people are prolly gonna read any of this but i love rambling anyways💥💥full downpour spoilers ahead!

RAHHHH I LOVE RIV AND SAINT THE MOVEMENT IS ONE OF MY FAV THINGS ABT THE GAMEPLAY RIGHT NEXT TO KILLING EVERYTHING THAT CROSSES MY PATH (except scavs but i will get to that later) riv is the first dp slug i played on the day the dlc came out and i finished it the same day and bro my expectations were blown out of the water holy FUCK. i wanted to explore rotting pebbles soooo bad and i actually got to do that!!! it was hard of course but i had fun!!!! i liked having to look at rooms and having to carefully calculate how i would get through them. it made pebbles funner to explore bc i wasnt stuck in 0g baby jail all the time. submerged superstructure was cool as hell too but i kept getting super lost in it while trying to find rhe right way to go… exploring after the campaign though was rlly fun!

basically riv is the most slug ever but oh man. does saint come close. it was BRUTAL getting out of sky islands and farm arrays (i didnt have a lantern, i didnt know it would warm u up) but once i did and i acquired a lantern it was fun! finessing predators with your epic tongue swinging skills. but at the same time man i have NEVER gotten a more overwhelming sense of dread from playing a video game before. especially at the part where i went to go to the wall and it just. wasnt there. i had to just pause and stare at the screen because What. and then when i went to shaded citadel, only to realize it wasnt. uh. shaded anymore. and connecting the lore dots in my head right before getting to the husk. gahdam. finding pebbles made me want to cry and throw up so hard (but i didnt. yet) and yeah. that ending. ehat the fukc. shit went crazy. didnt cry tho until i was watching a saint playthrough on youtube and like. bro wasnt even at the end of the game or doing anything in particular but MAN i just started sobbing for like an hour when i thought abt the ending again. i dont rlly even know why in particular the saint ending just Does that to a mf i guess. also shoutout to that one echo that says “I put my faith into the hands of random gods. Now I must endure it to the end” rawest line ever. goes so hard

SPEARMASTER WAS REALLY AWESOME TOO i lovvedddd being the predator and kill die kill kill slurp up everything i see with straw spear. i love how each of the slugcats makes u think like the slug ur playing, and spearmaster does that so well. i love that it makes u think like a ruthless predator, and i love playin on my save file every now and then to see how many kills i can get in a cycle. also exploring moon before she collapses was just as incredible as discovering five pebbles for the first time AIAGSJSGSJ i love her version of random gods so much it goes so crazy. also the bisexual lighting is cool. i hope the miros birds in her underhang explode tho i love being one shot before i can react at all

hunter. i love and hate the cycle limit. on one hand its super unique and changes up how u play the game alot. u gotta plan for stuff and be able to improvise sometimes. but also its really stressful LMAO. right before dp came out i did a hunter run so that i could unlock riv as soon as possible. and like bro wtf shit gave me heart palpitations. i wasnt even close to failing either i deadass ascended with like 9 cycles left idfk why i was shittif myself so hard at certain points. also why can slugpups spawn in their campaign bro thats mean.

GOURMAND. oh gourmand. this is the one i thought i was gonna hate but ended up really enjoying. the tuckered out mechanic isnt usually that big a deal. also bro is a straight up killing machine wtf 3 spear damage????? i didnt use the crafting mechanic much but it was pretty cool when i remembered it existed in a sticky situation and it saved me. also their endgame region….. oh my god that shit is BEAUTIFUL. i could just stare at some of the rooms for hours. and that big tree with a view of pebbles and the communications array? gorgeous. the food quest was fun and the ending is super cute.

survivor was my first experience with the game! i took multiple long breaks because of how frustrated i got at points, i even had to restart my first playthrough cuz i got stuck in filtration without max karma, but i just. kept coming back. the game just kept sucking me back in. i had the biggest ragequit ever at the jump to the wall in chimney canopy (didnt know about throwboosting so i died like 84538363 times. not just to the jump of course you know how chimney is) but i was back literally the next day. i could Not quit. not too much else to say abt them other than that ive replayed survivor like 4 times since it was all i could really do before downpour came out LOL. theyre the standard campaign so it goes in tha middle tier.

arti and monk were originally swapped but i judged arti too harshly i think. i loved the double jump so much, but when i played it i had scav kill squad leniency off and i had no idea how to parry. (also that one long trek between those two shelters in the upper section of metropolis (on the way to house of braids) can fuck right off to hell. ik i could have taken a diff route but ouygh my gowd) artis story is so cool and the ending art is SO badass i love it but scav combat sucks so bad. also i dont like killing them anyways theyre silly and i always get chieftain in my playthroughs :(

monk isnt actually even bad really. its just “ez baby mode”, which is fine! i think monk serves their purpose very well but honestly its not for me, esp after downpour. im a sweaty gamer guys i admit it im so so sorry plz forgive me💔💔💔🥀 i love monks cutscenes tho theyre very cute. a simple but effective story👍👍👍👍awesom

Owl House Season 3 Spoilers

Okay so ive been thinking about Thanks to Them nonstop since I saw it and ive had a Thought. Its been influenced by bits and pieces ive seen others realize and im 10000% sure someone else has said this already/had the same theory but Im saying it ANYWAY. In Hollow Mind we see that Belos is essentually haunted by the spirits of the Palismen he consumed, their voices and souls present in his mind. Now of course this could have been a one time thing to explain why there were two ‘Belos’s but the owl house likes to do this thing where it calls back on something that seemed like it was simply introduced for a single episode plot but turns out to be important later. Flapjack didnt just die, he gave his essense/life to save Hunter, meaning Hunter absorbed him. Ive seen some people saying that he probably can hear Flapjack’s voice in his mind, since he already knew Flap was gone when he woke up and was likely actually talking to Flap when he entered the portal. We have ALSO seen that palismen souls linger in the mindscape. Because Flap is the only palisman Hunter has absorbed, Id imagine that Flapjack’s soul isnt all corrupted and oozy like the ones in Belos’s mind, theres no amalgamation of malice and distress, Flapjack CHOSE to do this, out of love for his boy. So what im saying is. Hunter mindscape later on when they find Flapjack in there and either bring him out or at least hear from/see him again later. Hes not actually gone, its true hes not Hunter’s little emotional support buddy anymore, but hes still with Hunter. I wonder how clear their voices are in the minds of the people who absorb them. NORMALLY Im against bringing people back from the dead because then it makes death seemingly meaningless and all that, but in this case PLEASE GIVE HUNTER A BREAK. Let him have his bird!!! If it was anyone other palisman or character or whatever, itd be devastating of course but I’d be fine with them not coming back but. Hunter has had it so bad, and the fact that Flap was wounded by his own (possessed) hands... He needs Flap back for healing and companionship.

Before I reblog more post about the TOH i just want to make clear I REALLY LIKED THE ENDING OF THE OWL HOUSE! IT WAS SUPER GOOD!

Like I'm usually super picky with endings but this felt very good and satisfying

To all those people saying it felt rushed and there were many plot threads loos Ei say WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING?

For a rushed/cancelled show i was really surprised it manges to solve most plot threads in just 44 minutes! Besides more lore ragarding the owl beast i don't think there was anything left unsolved! Each character arc was properly finished!

Like besides the owl beast my only gripe was we didn't get more content about Caleb Wittebane and everything that went down but I already expected that!

Like what I wanted was for Caleb to have his own voice and tell his story instead of it being told by others(and therefore warped) because I wanted people to truly knew him, and his legacy to not be tainted by below anymore (so hunter could see Caleb was more than just another witch hunter or for the clawthores to know his origin) but i always knew for that an episode a la A tale of two Stans would have need and that was possible with the cancellation/time constraints.

We already got a general idea of what happened with both the Hollow mind pictures and Masha's retelling of the story. It's not like we werent given info about we were just missing details.

But that's it! Details!

But that's something that wasn't as necessary for the plot.

As as much as it hurts me Caleb and his story also worked perfectly left as an open history (thus giving them more a sense of a folklore story that haunts the narrative)

Also something that can easily be inferred as something that was slowly recovered with Hunter and Luz and the Clawthornes researching more about the past) which they are shown to be doing! (Since Thanks to them Hunter was shown to be researching about Caleb and we know that Gus got Belos memories >

I didn't need an official confirmation of Evelyn being Clawthornes to know it, Danna left all the pieces there for us the viewers to pick it.

The same with what went down with Caleb in general.

The same to know Odalia and Alador got divorced and she was cut from her kids lives.

Raeda are together even if there wasn't a onscreen wedding.

The bat queen and it's palismen found a home.

Or how the fight between the archivist and the titans went.

Or the lore behind the archivists.

Even hootys Lore wasn't really needed for the show ending.

For such a short time they had Dana and the crew did an amazing work of closing on screen stuff that need to be closed that way and for less important things they left enough hints for us to viewers to pick up

LIKE THEY DIDNT HAVE TO BUT THE MADMEN MANAGED TO DO IT SQUEEZING EVERY SINGLE SECOND AND PIXEL THEY COULD!

That's an amazing feat!

Hoo boy Okay. That was a chapter.

Sup its been a while, I didnt have too much to say about previous chapters but I got some thoughts I wanna share about this one, Its starting to become very interesting.

Well thats not actually true, The Church of Chainsaw Man and such is very interesting, but itll have to be another post!

First I wanted to talk about the Girls in the School hallway because I think they say some very interesting things:

But... by all the laws we know of this world, with enough fear from humanity its made manifest in Hell. And heck if things like Tomatoes have Devils then surely The 1999 Prophecy or Even Nostradamus himself must have manifested in Hell. "Oh but Nostradamus is a Specific person not a concept" So were Nazis, and we know there was a Nazi Devil that Pochita erased. and even so his prophecies are kind of concepts. I think they could definitely manifest as Devils in Hell.

Also I absolutely adore Fujimoto for blessing us with some Denji Nayuta day to day life stuff. Even if they are discussing something so serious as the Church getting Violent. Its starting to remind me so much of Fire Punch with the Church of Agni stuff.

I adore all the interior shots we get of Denji and Nayutas apartment, I can see all the love and joy they have together with everything its so heartwarming, From the Funny Far counter from like 10 chapters ago or something, to the Stickers on the toilet door, all the Dogs and Nyako, Everything is so nice. He really has gotten a Normal life, Or well being a Teenage boy raising a Kid is not normal but you get what I mean.

I think its adorable that he consults Pochita when he is uncertain. He fianlly has his normal life but... Is that enough anymore? Why does he feel like he needs to aim higher? Nyako fan service too, love to see it.

Now to the Meat and bones of the chapter Fakesaw Man makes an appearance. And I think its safe to say we have his Identity.

Devil Hunter Club member Seigi Akoku. I think its funny that i was reminded of Fire Punch so much lately when this guy bears a Striking resemblance to Agni himself.

But I think its pretty fascinating its pretty much like alot of us thought (If his story is to be believed) He is a chainsaw man lookalike thanks to his perverted sense of Justice granted by the Justice Devil. Now he is so Powerful seemingly that one has to wonder what kind of Power he has trough Justice. Is he contracted, Is he a Hybrid? Is he a Fusion like Asa? Whatever he is, Im certain that Fami has him under her control. And im sure he can read the Minds of people like Yuko could, Im sure Fami might have told him anyways but hed know of Fami, Yoshida, Asa, Denji etc. He probably also Killed Yuko to get rid of a Justice Fiend.

What the hell is Fami aiming to achieve with all this?

How is Yoshida gonna react to Fakesaw man? Or is he gonna exploit this opportunity to Kill Nayuta if Fakesawman transforms? Pretend he isnt aware. Arent we all supposed to be on the same side here guys?

Zemo whispers his voice slightly thicker. you know draga it will only get worse, I've studied wolves if they don't have an alpha mate them they often go feral, or they are attacked by hunters because they are weaker. Clint walks back in holding a frozen coffee. "the Cinnabon place was closed". Zemo why are you here he asks with a death glare". you pick up your books and take them to the checkout counter. Zemo speaks softly "I came to apologize to y/n after I heard about what happened I realized it was all my fault." Clint checks on you over his shoulder what do u mean? I already know u hurt her last night are you telling me you don't remember doing that? Zemo looks down no I heard about the 8 dead bodies they found outside of a bar. they were all mauled by some animal 4 blocks from where she threw me through the wall. Clint whispers that's why she was drunk last night when we found her.

What do you mean? Clint, where did you find y/n? Clint checks on you again before replying. Bucky and I heard her scream and ran to her room to find her in the shower with all her clothes on, trying to frantically wash off she was saying it won't come off it won't come off. we had to give her some medicine to calm her down so we could find out what happened. bucky slept in his room with her to make sure she was ok. she came to the bookstore trying to feel better hence the coffee. you walk back over to Clint. "im checked out can we go now I do not want that smell getting on my jacket I just washed it" Zemo looks up at you "I am sorry for my actions draga but I meant what I said. " you glare at him "stay away from my human Zemo that's a warning. with that you disappear having teleported back to the tower. clint goes to talk to bucky. "bucky did you know she killed 8 people last night ? " bucky looks up from cleaning his guns "no but that would explain why she was so drunk last night I thought zemo had tried to trigger her and she managed to get away but that makes a lot more sense. Clint says zemo showed up at the book store he apologized to her but then threatened her because she won't come with him. bucky gets up and walks out to the kitchen where you are curled up reading under the counter. you look up at him and say softly I'm not mad at you anymore I understand you just wanted me to rest so I didn't get sick. y/n you killed 8 people last night why didn't you tell me that this morning? bucky stands there with his arms crossed looking very irritated waiting for an answer. you look down I don't remember doing it bucky I had no idea when zemo tried to bite me everything went black and then black I woke up next to you. bucky kneels on one knee and gently tilts your head back to make you look directly in the eyes with him . bucky i promise i didnt know . bucky gets up and walks back over to clint . " she says she dosent remember any thing and i can tell her in her eyes the the only thing she remembers is me triggering her to pass out . she has trama from zemo he used to taunt her and he was quite cruel to her he put her in the chair more made her fight more often it was like he was on a mission to make her kill him and then one night she snapped thats the night she still has nightmares about we almost escaped but she blacked out again and i was the only one around she attacked me and we both woke up in the med bay the doctors say the only reason i didnt bleed out was because my heart was beating so slowly from the extreme cold from the winter . i dont know why but she didnt leave me they said she was trying to get me too wake up when they found us. after that they kept her separated from me i would hear her screams i have no idea what he did to her but it must be pretty traumatic for her to switch personalities for hours like that . clint whispers keep an eye on her he might tell the police they might come asking questions. it dosent matter if she doesn't remember doing it she did it . she said something about a scent getting in her jacket at the store she just washed it . bucky looks over towards the kitchen before whispering cherry blossoms she told me before thats what he smells like normally i imagine now he smells like that plus the scent of an alpha. the two walk over to the kitchen to find you asleep with your blanket and a book in top in your lap.

zemo couldn't sleep the scent of you drove him mad he wanted nothing more than to rut deep inside of you . he was fascinated with you while u were at hydra. he had a soft spot for you that was why he would train your harder, he didnt want you being replaced. when he almost lost you he separated you from the soldier, unless the two of you were sparing or on a mission. he couldnt out his finger on it but he didnt want to let you go unfortunately him pushing you so hard caused him to one of the first ones you attacked when you finally did snap it was terrifying. he wanted to teach you how to cook the dishes from his home land sonce you seemed so intrigued by them . he knew he had to bring the soldier back with or without you he snarled at the thought of them hurting you again he get up to take a shower hoping it would help he allowed the water to run he leaned his head back trying to calm him self .

monster hunter world is so beautiful. the environments are fucking stunning, the visual upgrade for the monsters was INSANE and just watching them be animals? it brings me so much joy KSJSJSJ

one of my favorites is the rotten vale, which is funny cuz i remember the first time i ever went there i was so. PARANOID. i use sound with pretty much everything i play since my eyes might not track everything thats happening, so hearing the ambience for the vale freaked me out so much, i stayedat the camp for SO LONG and good thing too cuz the radobaan makes its way down that path and i was shook SKFJSF

whenever i do this quest i do just follow it around for a while (which. ive had to do this quest A LOT cuz i thought i get vitality crystals from it (yknow cuz i got some from it) so i have probably 100% killed more vaal hazak than any of the other elder dragons SKFJSF

vaal hazak is so cool cuz its covered in rotten meat and uses the effluvium (corpse gas) as its like. life source. it pulls excess effluvium from the vale into itself and expels it when theres not enough, so its keeping the ecosystem tame its so cool UGHH

also one of its moves it plays dead its so fucked up itll fall over like you've knocked it over and then just lay there but you hear its inhale and it looks up and BLASTS YOU with its effluvia gas beam (WHICH. THAT THING HURTS!!!!!! for real the effluvium attack is so. plus it also halves yr health? like if vaal hits you with that shit itll give you miasma or whatever and it HALFS YR HEALTH BAR and you gotta eat a nulberry to negate it

im not one for switching shit around in my like item bar tho (MAINLY cuz most the time ive played MHW was with my siblings mouse and its scroll bare was broken so swapping items was hard) so i just put on like 3 effluvia resistance gems and it cant give me miasma. problem solved SKFSJF

i did get so tired of fighting it cuz yknw its a hard fight its an elder dragon, but i will say like the MUSIC? thats one of the things like. when we fought megan in the forest, they gave us battle music and THAT is why i kicked ass and abandoned all my fear, monster hunter instincts kicked in and i tanked alright like it was NOTHING, battle music just hits different

Huntlow shippers almost exclusively focus on hunter angst with willow being his emotional support decoration and when ppl (me) point this out everyones like NO WE LOVE WILLOW SHES UHHHHHH COOL AND STRONG so ppl (me) engage with the ship in good faith and come up with a scenario where they could make their relationship interesting in the show and almost the whole scenario revolves around how willow after being bullied her whole life has a hard time believing someone could crush on her and things ensue that shes sad about which gives her more depth as a character. And then every huntlow shipper that has literally anything to say about it says something along the lines of "ZOMG HUNTER WILL BE SOOOOOOOO SAD ABOUT WILLOW HAVING A CRISIS HERES HOW I THINK HUNTER WILL DEAL WITH THIS SCENARIO ALL ABOUT WILLOW"

Huntlow shippers care about willow. Sure. She definitely isnt a self insert for ppl who just want to ship hunter with anyone. They definitely didnt sandpaper her entire personality and nuance. And they definitely didnt just flanderize her into a violent brute.

YEEEAAHHH yeah you're so right. I hate hunt/low with the burning rage of a million suns, BUT I do have to admit that that IS a way they could make the ship more interesting & tolerable bc of the depths it gives Willow specifically. I havent seen that reaction bc I literally havent seen one person (until this ask) actually give some thought into what could be done to make the ship interesting, but somehow Im entirely unsurprised that that's the response of most shippers. Like, it's so hard to get them to understand that shipping them just so Willow will be put in the situation where she has to "fix" him is really fucked up and not a good storyline in the first place. Please stop manic pixie dream girl-ing Willow. That's not who she is and just shows yall dont care about her at all, just what she can do for Hunter/be for Hunter. She's such a complex and interesting character and every hunt/low take ive seen completely washes all of that away to make her some swoony lovesick teen and nothing else. Sorry! No personality for you anymore willow, you're in a het relationship now :-)

She's DEFINITELY a place holder for ppl that just want Hunter to be in a relationship which is why they dont pay attention to her character at all lmao. They just want a pretty girl to like hunter & it's the closest thing to being canon that they've got because the storyboard artists bait it so much.
