the difference between karkat and kankri when it comes to their shared aspect of blood is that karkat, as a knight, will protect and cultivate the bonds between his friends and will form connections with others easily due to his empathetic nature, even if said others are fucked up people in the eyes of others (see: his whole deal with spades slick, the way he formed moriallegience with rampaging gamzee), people naturally come into his orbit, meanwhile kankri being a seer doesnt want to create a connection between himself and others, but he wants to understand and study how those bonds work between people, basically looking outside in on the relationships and forming a list of do's and dont's when it comes to cultivating that connection

in other words, karkats that one motherfucker at the party whos somehow friends with everyone here, no matter their background, and everyone fucking loves that foul-mouthed guy, meanwhile kankri is standing in the corner like a creep and nobody knows exactly what his deal is but he knows what everyones deal is and somehow has knowledge of all of partygoers dirty laundry, even if theyve never seen him in their fucking life

He was my favorite character the first time I read the book lol- kinda still is, but upon rereading and watching the film, I started to like all the other characters just as much lol. Never stopped liking him, I just like the others so much that it sorta evened out

Danny and Damian are twins. Danny was killed by Damian obviously. The normal only one heir business.

When he was put into the pit. Either by a guilt ridden Damian or Talia late in the night. He vanished. Natural portal whipped him away. Right in the path of Jack and Maddie. They adopt the little 8 year old who has no memories of his past.

Normal stuff happens. Danny dies a second time becomes a halfa and befriends cujo.

Now cujo loves Danny and loves to visit him. Too bad cujo gets Damian confused with Danny. But hey. He had two people now. Double the pets.

One day Danny is playing with cujo and cujo unannounced decides his ppl need to meet.

Danny was clearly confused. First where is he? Cujo that was completely naughty behavior. Then there was a dude staring at him. A doppelgänger? Another clone? Like this dude looked nearly identical to him besides the eyes.

Now Damian. Damian recognizes Danny right away. Now he likely thinks this is a clone or something.

okay so we all know jim is guilty of staring at spock's ass every other episode but also,,,, there is a chair Right There on the bridge. spock could easily be sitting down the entire time, and considering how uhura is shorter than him (and she manages fine) we know that there wouldn't be a problem reaching the controls. also it's a slidey chair, so he could move around a lot easier than just awkwardly shuffling. sitting down would also be much more comfortable and the hunched over position would probably affect his physical health and prevent him from doing his job efficiently. there is no reason, vulcan logic or otherwise, that i can think of why he would choose to stand up in that weird hunch. unless. he *wants* captain jim fucking kirk to stare at his ass like the gay little alien he is.

every time i say tumblr staff (and tumblr itself let's be real) made social media worse by never punishing harassment, allowing people to get comfortable pushing cancel and callout culture so they could harass and dehumanize anyone (especially minorities) they want without ever having to worry about consequences, an attitude they brought with them to other websites like tiktok and twitter after the 2018 porn ban....

This is what I'm talking about. tumblr staff doesn't give a shit if you're stalked and harassed, but if you're a trans woman posting selfies? instant ban.

tumblr staff has NEVER done anything to protect its users, but now they're actively participating in doing the harm.

I’m so glad Vel’s with Nora. Poor baby going thru so much…I feel like the wisdom and company of a gentle bun will do her a lot of good in their Vacuo arc. It’s like how Weiss is so sensitive to people and gives amazing insights. Velvet is that too in her own unique ways.
