Atmakaraka is the planet with the highest degree in the birth chart.

In this life the person needs to take care of themselves and focus on their own development.

Sun atmakaraka in 1st house- I like this one the most, I have only met 1 person with this placement, and she's so charming. I feel like people just see them as a leader. Sun is in one of the best positions here and people who have this placement definitely have a high self-confidence unless the sun is aspected by a malefic planet. It's also very easy for these people to focus on themselves. (now that I think about it, I really don't remember any celebrity having this placement, or maybe I've just forgotten, I'll have to check again, and then make a separate post about it because people who have it just have this "I know I'm the best" kind of vibe, you know???)

Moon atmakaraka in 1st house - I have noticed that people who have this are very sensitive, they try to hide their feelings but they are unable to do so. You know when you ask someone if they are okay and then they start crying and say "Nope, I'm okay, everything's fine" and you can SEE that they're not fine, that situation reminds me of this placement. People with this should definitely meditate, and Journaling can help too, and share your feelings with your friends or family. You guys need to learn how to control your emotions and deal with them in a healthy way. (also, not to generalise but be careful when dating a guy who has moon atmakaraka in 1st conjunct Mars because one of my friend was dating a guy with it and let's just say he was.... Aggressive)

Mercury Atmakaraka in 1st house - yooo, I'm so jealous of people with this, you know those people who start studying 1 day before an exam and still manage to score 90+, yup its them. I know a person with this placement who always has such "controversial" opinions but when you listen to why he thinks that, they make so much sense, he doesn't say things just to piss people off, he actually does his research and UNDERSTANDS an issue before talking about it. If afflicted, they can be scared to express their opinions because they know that it goes against the majority. I wouldn't say just express your opinions because I know how the world is but rather make friends who have the same opinion as you and talk to them. (it's okay if you hate Colleen Hoover, I'm with you)

Venus atmakaraka in 1st house - I know 3 people with this placement and their fashion sense is just WOW, not just fashion sense but design sense in general. So I know a girl with this placement, and she lives in a super tiny studio apartment but when you enter, it feels like the house is HUGE, because of the way she has designed it, placed the furniture and the colors that she has used. I also see a lot of people saying that people with this are extroverted and love the company of others but I don't think it's true for everyone. The studio apartment girl is super shy, she doesn't like going to parties or interacting with other people, she mostly keeps to herself. If afflicted, these people can have low self esteem and they can wear baggy clothes because they don't feel confident enough to wear the clothes that they really WANT to wear.

Mars atmakaraka in 1st house - so I know a person with this placement (that person is me), who loves playing sports, people who have it can be very athletic and be interested in activities like hiking and trekking, I also know another person who has this placement and she HATES working out, but she also has a very hard time controlling her anger, because there's no outlet, so when she's angry she just starts yelling and hitting people or just starts crying in the middle of nowhere, I used to be like this, but it got better once I started doing muay Thai and fencing, it's because all of my anger was being used in that. They can also feel their blood boiling when reading about social issues and it can make them really angry to read about things that they don't agree with, and listen to people who don't agree with them(like if someone tells me feminism is not needed anymore, I'm resorting to violence because WHAT THE FUCK??)

Jupiter atmakaraka in 1st house - these people are the definition of "mom friend", they are really good at giving advice and they are good at teaching as well, I have noticed. I have a friend who has this placement and she would teach me maths 1 week before the exam because our teachers were shit, and I would always score well because of how nicely she would teach me the concepts. She also convinced her mother to divorce her husband, and she was literally like "If you take this decision, I'll be with you, we'll figure something out don't worry. But if you don't leave him, then I'll leave and you can suffer alone", 💀, this may seem harsh but her mom needed to hear that. They can also unfortunately become the victims of parentification.

Saturn atmakaraka in 1st house - (everyone who has Saturn atmakaraka deserves a hug). They can be very pessimistic and can give up on things very easily, they can feel like no matter how hard they work they never get good results. I know a person with this, who would study SO hard, like stay in the library for HOURS only to get very low marks. I know that Mars is considered a malefic planet but in this case, if your Saturn is in conjunction with Mars then your situation becomes so much better, like no matter how many times you fail, YOU WILL NOT GIVE UP, and then, in the end, Saturn will give the best result because Saturn wants you to never give up, it wants you to fall and fall again but still complete the race and Mars, in this case, becomes the hand that helps you get up when you fall.

Broly sits by himself in an empty room, having managed to get away from his father and his new acquaintances. His father had shocked him again, but he couldn't understand why his father couldn't see what that awful man was trying to do. Broly had never voiced it to Paragus, he hardly ever even wanted to think of it in his own mind, but he hated how his father used that collar on him, and in his heart he harbored those deep feelings of hatred.

He looks up when the door to the room opens, the light flicking on. He immediately looks away from the person at the door, but even in his sadness from being electrocuted again, he takes note of the attractiveness of the stranger.

"This is new." You murmur and step in, setting your chestplate down. "Ah... You're the guy from the cafeteria, right?"

"My name is Broly." He murmurs softly. "Is... This your room?"

"Mhm." You slip off your boots. "You can hide out here though. After what the old guy did, I don't blame you for finding a quiet place to yourself."

Broly's lips quirk to the side. He's not sure what to make of you. You seem to... Be on his side and not agree with his father's actions. Cheelai had also seemed to feel that way. Perhaps... His father was the one in the wrong?

It felt like a sin to think of his father like that.

"Thank you very much." He says after a beat, remembering to mind his manners on his own, for once.

"Don't mention it." You're in your blue under-armor now as you sit at your small round table with him. "You're the only company I've ever had in here."

"How come?" As far as Broly is concerned, you're kind and beautiful, and he would visit you all the time if he were someone living on this ship.

You chuckle to yourself, tapping your nails absentmindedly on the mahogany table. "Because I hate everyone on this damn ship."

"Oh." Broly frowns.

"Not to trauma-dump, but I was sold about ten years ago by my own father and haven't been home since."

"Your father? He... Sold you?"

"Mhm. I didn't even know you could sell a thirty-year-old that doesn't live with you, but he did it anyway."

"I'm sorry he did that." Broly's brows come together in a deep frown.

You laugh a little, and even with his lack of social interaction, Broly knows it's not because you find anything humorous. "It was that or be pillaged by the pirates that invaded us. They were eventually killed by Frieza and that's how I ended up working under him. I only wish to go home."

"... My father told me about my species growing up. He says we're a proud race of warriors."

You nod your head. "What are you?"

"A Saiyan."

Your eyes widen. "Wow. I can't believe there's more of you besides Goku and Vegeta."

Broly looks down at the table. "My father and I were told about... that... when we were discovered..."

"Ah, man... I can't say much about the Saiyans since I was so young when Frieza blew up Planet Vegeta, but I'm sure you would've been a good fit. You look every bit a warrior."

"Really?" He looks into your eyes.

"Sure. Big, tall, with muscles that could break anyone in two... You don't got the scary, pillaging personality though." You wink. "So as far as I can tell... You're a pretty perfect guy."

Broly's cheeks heat up and he could never explain why, but his eyes dart to your chest for just a split second, and you can see just a bit of red on his tanned cheeks. You laugh softly and lean forward a little. "Now that I think about it, have you ever seen a woman until today?"

"I... N-No." Broly mumbles, looking away.

"Hmm. You're an interesting fella, Broly."

"Thank... You?" He's really not sure if that's a good or bad thing, so he figures that erring on the side of using his manners will be best.

"Tell me about you. What's that green pelt you're wearing?"

Broly quietly launches into the story of Ba, of how he was his only friend and how his father ruined it for him. In fact, every story he tells seems to end with Paragus somehow destroying happiness for Broly. At forty-one years of age, it doesn't sound to you like he's ever had one day to enjoy life. And with how horrible that planet he was stuck on was, you weren't surprised. He'd been attacked every day!

Your heart feels a pang of sadness at his story. Oh how you wish to bathe him in the love of your home planet...

You smile a little and stand up, heading to your small chest of drawers and pulling out a small pendant. "I doubt you're gonna be on the ship long, I may not even see you again, so... Here. To remember me." You bring it to him, setting the small thing onto his large palm.

Broly looks up at you for just a few seconds, taking in your smile and sparkling eyes and wondering how someone could be so charming, before looking at what you've gifted to him. It's a small, golden, diamond-shaped pendant on a golden chain, an engraving in the center of what looked like an elegant flower.

Broly rubs his thumb over it. "It's beautiful."

"Thank you. The flower is the one of my people. It can only be found on my planet. I'm sure if I could ever go back home that they'd be everywhere, just waiting to be picked and used for decoration, cooking, medicine..." You look out the window, Broly studying how wistful you look. He wonders what it's like to have a home worth missing, that wasn't uninhabitable and didn't attempt to kill him every day.

Broly holds the pendant back out to you, but you gently close his fist around it and push it to his chest. "Keep it. I'll always have home with me in my memories. And my body." You chuckle softly and pull your undersuit down enough to show him a tattoo at your collarbone of the same flower. "The zantedeschia stays with me always."

Broly reaches his hand out, and you allow him to touch your tattoo. He gently traces the elegant, black outline. "You're warm." He mumbles.

"So are you." You murmur, looking into Broly's curious eyes as he traces the zantedeschia tattoo. "So is Albomaculata."

"Is that your home?"

You nod, putting your hand on top of his. "We're a beautiful species. Home is so lovely, so nurturing, so gentle and romantic and different from anywhere else... We're not fighters." You mutter. "I suppose we're the opposite of Saiyans. We're lovers."

"Saiyans love too." Broly counters gently.

You smile and brush some hair out of his face. "Hmm... That's an interesting thought."

There's a sudden commotion outside, and you hear the voice of the old man from earlier, who you've assumed is Broly's father. You look back at Broly and swipe your finger down his nose playfully. "Guess you'd better go, huh?"

Broly scrunches his nose cutely, but does stand and gently remove his hand from your chest, instead moving it to the shock collar on him. Fear strikes in his eyes. "I.. I should."

"Goodbye, Broly. I hope we meet again."

He moves for the door, and when he turns around one last time, all he sees is your naked silhouette bathed in the light of the bathroom. He blinks slowly, committing the beauty to his memory before stepping out of the room and finding his father.

Broly's been thrust into battle sometime after he parted ways with you, and he's lost himself in his rage. His father is dead now, and it's probably all his fault. Before him is Gogeta, the fusion of the only other full-blooded Saiyans left.

You watch from the ship, scared for your friend as he faces off against the new challenger. He's losing badly, and it's looking like they'll kill him. And god dammit he doesn't deserve to die like this.

You push the two lower-ranking soldiers away from the Dragon Balls, ignoring their protests as you make your wish to the giant green dragon.

"Save Broly and send us to Albomaculata!"

You close your eyes, and within a flash, you feel yourself surrounded by the warm air of home. You open your eyes and look around for Broly, praying you weren't too late. You then see the glowing form of your new friend, his body smaller now and close to his normal size.

"Broly?" You whisper.

Broly turns with a shout, in between the beast within and his normal, gentle self. You hold your hands up and he pauses, the glowing fluctuating. You take a shaky breath and carefully ease down the undersuit, revealing your tattoo to Broly once again. "Broly... The zantedeschia stays with me always. And it can be with you too... We're on my home planet."

Broly's wide eyes look around and he realizes he's surrounded by several zantedeschia of many colors, ones he's never even seen before in his life. The planet is vibrant and the air around him is so clean and lovely it's intoxicating. He finally relaxes into his base form, falling onto the field of flowers, breathing heavily and still looking around.

"How...?"

You kneel between his legs and hug him tightly. "I made a wish. Those Dragon Balls are pretty handy... But we're here, Broly. My home." You smile, tears in your eyes. "We're safe here."

"You saved me?" Broly whispers, his hand coming to rest on your tattoo again. It's a comfort to him, your warm skin underneath his palm.

"Of course." You murmur. "You deserved so much more... I could only imagine showing you life on Albomaculata. No pain, no suffering... Just beautiful things."

"You are beautiful."

You smile at him and place a blue and white zantedeschia in his hair. He feels hazy and blinks slowly, drunk at the effects of the flowers and the air, not yet used to the romantic aura of the planet. He looks at you and smiles with hooded eyes. "The... zantedeschia is... with me?"

"Yes. And I'm with you too." You whisper, rubbing his chest and coaxing him to sleep. And when he wakes, you'll show him all of the love and life and colors he's missed out on. Your heart is already giddy at the thought of being home again and sharing it with Broly, giving him everything he's missed out on throughout his life.

Lazytown Shenanigans Pt. 8

Wow I'm finally back with my ramblings (nobody waited and nobody asked for this :,DD)!! I was kinda busy getting acquainted with some fandom stuff — reading some fics, to be precise — and was getting some rest from the show to be more excited to continue watching it! 

I think that this kind of posts will be posted much less often than before because I will take a break from watching more often, at least I think so

But anyway, this time I've watched "The Baby Troll" and. Uhh. Let's just get right into it 😭

"The Baby Troll."

I'm not even going to lie; this is probably one of my least favorite episodes so far. I honestly can't even say that I liked it even a little bit, this episode is just not it. But of course there were some nice moments, so I'd better start discussing it

I cannot keep silent about the fact that the town looks quite beautiful at night. I'm attaching a wonderful frame to convince you of this, my dear people:

Well. Not that it's breathtakingly wonderful — there were much more beautiful frames, but I'm a stupid person and forgot to take some screenshots — but I think it looks nice at least??

Before I get too bored writing this post, I want to touch on the topic of my favorite sillies. One thing made me giggle a little: the city is sinking into the night, it's time for everyone to go to bed soon; Robbie walks around the park and wonders why "those brats" are not playing. Buddy... it's like... a nighttime?... 

And, well, why does he even bother about kids not playing on the playground huh? I mean, their excited shouts and bustling annoy him all day long, so he should be happy that they're finally not playing. BRO YOU GOT SOME REST, AS YOU WANTED!! USE IT FOR YOUR OWN ENJOYMENT OF PEACE AND QUIET!!

This scene is not that long, I would even say insignificant, but I pay a lot of attention to it because in my opinion it gives a subtle hint that he is actually used to their hustle and games and quite likely finds the park empty without their fun. Yes I will make one small scene make sense; I'm a big softie for Robbie's and kids' interactions, nice to meet you 🤵

Also sometimes I wonder how Robbie manages to get into trouble so stupidly and spectacularly; bro kicked the ball, got hit by the said ball in the ass, and fell in the chest, which locked up in the result. Bravo, bravo 😭😭 At least he wasn't complaining when Sportacus saved him (and the kids as well, but we're not talking about them yet) and even asked for it, because, from my observations, he usually gets annoyed when someone helps him

And his disguise in this episode was kinda silly. I don't have much to say about it tbh, it just looked funny 🤷

But let's talk about some other characters now; from this episode I learned that Meanswell can knit. Attaching evidence to the above fact (this frame looks so cozy I want to get in there):

And since we're talking about the abilities of some of the characters, I was pleased to learn that Trixie can play the guitar. In my vision she's a great music lover and you can't convince me otherwise

One more thing about the Mayor and then I'll touch on the topic of the thing that genuinely scared me. Meanswell is kind of dumb — like, not even dumb, but just inattentive. Right in front of his eyes the kids ran away from home to the mountains at night, and he didn't even notice it. LIFT YOUR GODDAMN EYES AND SEE WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR HOUSE. MORE PRECISELY OUTSIDE THE HOUSE. You know what I mean 😭

Oh and well. About the scary part of the episode. What the actual fuck was that troll? Why does it look so freaking scary?.. I watched this episode before going to bed, that is, at night, and how can I sleep peacefully now when the appearance of this creature stands right on the surface of my thoughts? And it was so annoying in addition to it's creepy appearance, and it seems to me that for the most part I didn't like this episode just because of this creature. I don't even want to think about it tbh 💀

In general, as it's already clear, this episode didn't seem to me the best, at least for the entire fourth season. But at least I've learned a lesson from this episode: if you want to eat like a bitch, gobble up an apple. It solves all the problems.

I find pre-canon Kabru's Crew interactions rather intriguing. Kabru and Rin growing up in a household of orphans managed by one mildly freaky (if loving) ex-death squad commander. Holm In Elf Jail. Mickbell lowkey terrified of the kobold who would gnaw off a man's face for him and yet increasingly attached to because he's the one person he has in the world (having had a rough upbringing Mick is hesitant to call Kuro family... yet), and Kuro feeling protective even if their partnership seems odd.

YES!! Anon you get it. I'm glad we got some extra comics of Kabru and Milsiril but ngl I would have loved some more Rin backstory. I don't think Rin grew-up with Milsiril though, but maybe eventually she got moved into that house??? And also she practices Eastern Magic but how did she hone it?? Is she just an excellent self study (probably)?? I need to know more!!!!

No wonder Rin loves Kabru he was the only beacon of hope after being traumatized and then after just days of this....

Poor baby girl no..........

Holm is wild I think the only real mistake that is so, SO tiny about the anime that I'm kind of miffed about but I really will get over is that they had him eat meat when he doesn't like to eat meat (and he doesn't drink) for religious reasons. But also it's such a tiny little detail that I can forgive them, I really can, it's very much such a tiny detail in this tiny little side character. But also when did he become religious was he always like "I gotta respect the spirits" or did he double down in the elf prison tenfold? Why is he studying ancient spirit magic?? I need to know more, but it is a mystery and will probably always be a mystery.

I love Mickbell and Kuro I talk about them often but I really think it's kind of wild that they both have the "Wow, I gotta look out for this guy, he seems like he could get into a lot of trouble, good thing I know more about the world than he does" thought going on with each other. Incredible. 10/10 dynamic. Love these two.

Also you didn't mention her but I think Daya is really interesting, it seems like she has a lot going on under the surface. But also like speaking of pre-canon excuse me, what do you mean the Shadow Lord of the island is her distant cousin and also introduced her and Kabru? Huh? I? I'm flabbergasted. I think it's neat that she's also one of the only characters in a canonical romantic relationship.

Kabru undoubtedly gets the most development of anyone of his party and rightfully so, and I just love his development in the manga and how he never really strays far from his strengths either. He never does a 180 on his personality, he just adapts (because he's good at that!!)

I know these guys are the most side characters of side characters, but still. I love Kabru's party!!!

I won't lie, this is a kind of weird request, but that's alright! We can do weird. For the sake of my own comfort, I'm going to say ahead of time that the relationship between Solomon and the reader is purely platonic.

Hey, it's me again, three hours in the future relative to the above paragraph. I did my best, though I'm struggling to portray Solomon as an actual father figure. But these are some disjointed thoughts about you, Reader, and your somewhat toxic mentor-pupil relationship with your fellow human, Solomon the Sorcerer. Wow, the greatest sorcerer to ever live? You didn't even know sorcerers were a thing outside books and movies before you got here. Not only that, this guy is functionally immortal? You could probably learn a thing or two from him.

When you unexpectedly arrive in the Devildom for the RAD exchange program, you're more than a little uneasy about the number of jokes people have been making about eating you. (Those were jokes, right?)

So when you meet a friendly human face on your first day of classes, you're relieved. How is this guy so calm in this situation? Isn't he an exchange student too? Isn't he at least a little bit confused about the world? Will sticking to him like glue keep you from dying by demon?

Answers in order: He's been doing this for thousands of years, yes, no, and probably.

Solomon is aware of your dependence on him, and he quickly grows fond of you too, albeit in the way you might become fond of the local stray cat. You're friendly and easy to manipulate and best of all, you're a human. Solomon hasn't had any actual humans to interact with in years.

Wow you saw Jack White 14 times on his tour and even met him! That's insane, like in a good way. If you're okay with sharing, what was that all like and how'd you meet him?

I have no problem with sharing, if i didn't want to i wouldn't post about it on the internet ;)

But yeah, it WAS insane. It was physically and mentally exhausting, i slowly lost all sense of dignity and self restraint, and it's a LOT of hours spent in trains and planes and fucked up eating habits and not enough sleep, however i have zero regrets, would do it again 100% and totally recommend it if you can/want to do it.

The shows themselves were absolutely amazing, if you've ever seen him you must know that (if you're interested, there's a recording from his last Olympia show by Arte Concert on youtube, it will give you an idea of how the shows were), never twice the same, the vibe was different, the songs were different, the way songs were played were different. You never know what's gonna happen and that's why he's probably the only artist i would go see as many times in one tour. going to that many shows also mean that you can enjoy better whatever is happening on stage. Because there's so many stuff to watch! Some nights i would watch Jack more, other nights i would focus more on one of the musicians – it was not a conscious decision, it's just how it goes. Plus, even though i'm now sad it's over and i miss them all terribly, i don't feel frustrated – i had my dose.

Plus, i get to spend time with some of my bestest friends, old friends i hadn't seen in a while, new friends i made along the way, and it's just so lovely to travel, hang out with people you love, and share that very intense and specific connection that comes with going to such a show together. It creates a deep sense of community (which culminated when we all cried together at the Union Chapel show).

Now, meeting him. I fell like, this tour, he's particularly keen on meeting people and interacting with them – and the friends i've talked with all agree. I've met him twice, once after a show at the stage door – he took the time to sign some stuff and take pictures with a lot of people, even though there were like 50 of us? He was lovely, only said a couple of sentences to each person obvs, no time for a full on conversation, but he was very engaged and not in a rush (his manager was though ^^).

The other time was at the Rough Trade signing, same thing, he didn't have much time for each of us but he was very attentive and fully engaged in whatever we were telling him (it's not just my opinion, my friends thought the same), super nice and smily, and willing to engage with us. Overall he really seemed in a good mood this tour, whether on stage or off, just happy to be there and ready to connect.

I also met his bandmates, who were all super nice and open to conversation, just very kind and sweet people overall!

I’m doing a lil simple story with some gameplay aspects into it, and i’m wondering if you have any tips on how two potential love interests could meet, for the first time? Like occasions/places/situations? Story/pose wise (poses to use to make a specific situation or encounter) and also like gameplay wise (where they could meet in game through gameplay, like events, places or other stuff that happens when you play) hopefully that makes sense! Oh wow, it's actually kinda been a while since my sims have actually gone through anything like this, tbh, so idk if I'm really the person to ask, but...

Probably my most recent memory of any kind of meeting was between Zachary and Blake, and technically ( in my head ) they already knew one another in high school, but when I began playing them, I literally just threw a bunch of other sims with them into one big lot, and let the game decide whether they would "find each other in a room full of strangers" is one way to put it. They did, crazily enough, which is funny bc I was actually expecting one of them to go for Heather, but they went right to one another and began flirting almost immediately.

I'm kinda weird though, and I kinda like it when sims just interact organically, despite my headcanon, plans or expectations. The Sims 3 is incredibly chaotic compared to The Sims 4 when it comes to this, the sims in it are a bit more complex I guess... compared to TS4 sims imo, but the attraction system is kinda garbage, luckily their traits kinda do most the work when it comes to actual compatibility... like I wasn't really expecting Oba to find someone while at college, but he met Mika at a party, and they just really hit it off, so I kinda just jumped off of what happened in my game, bc TS3 is kinda about that anyway, it's a very... team effort kind of game, the player has control, but it can also pick up where the player leaves off if they want, and quite well if you manage to capture your sim/character well enough through traits.

Now, as for strictly posed, story focused, and planned meetings honestly it's really up to you. Find inspiration from some of your fav romantic media, whether it be books or TV, and don't let anyone tell you anything is too cliché, it's romance, it's supposed to be a little bit cliché, love is kinda corny sometimes and that's okay.

Outline an idea, gather the cc you need, there's sooo much cc out there for sims storytellers, it isn't even funny, and a lot of it you can easily find on cc finds blogs through their tags systems if they've got it, and for starters, why not hit up @ts4-poses? Then decide whether you wanna control the entire event yourself, or if you'd like the game to make a go at it. You can always exit without saving if things don't go as planned, no one will know ( how will they know, lol ), or hell, if it doesn't go as planned, and your sim flirts with Don Lothario at the romance festival instead ( like an old sim of mine did ), who's to say that isn't the start of a beautiful romance, or a doomed one... it's up to you!

I am glad I managed to touch on the sheer desperation to bring someone back from the dead. Grief can be scary, and drive us to do crazy things. Whenever a piece of media gets me to feel like that, I always get so immersed, so I'm glad I was able to reproduce that!

Although your rendition of what would happen if you seduced the Demon Lord is amazing to read, things will definitely be far harder and less black and white than they seem, especially if we go down that route. I will say, I will add a way for you to gain the Demon Lord's trust, but he is also a manipulative and tricky demon, so... the MC might be betrayed before they can betray.

Imagine, if you will, a resource management visual novel, where your choices matter and yet they also don't. Where you are in control of all that happens to you, yet you are not in control of everything. Imagine a king who is a family man who has to balance an oncoming war with the happiness of his family--with his wife and his three unruly daughters. Imagine a game where you cannot please everybody, so you have to make careful decisions regarding who to trust and who to give your resources to.

And you basically have Yes, Your Grace.

Except I feel like it's bigger than that. People complain that they wish that they could have had more impact towards the different endings, specifically in regards to a certain scenario that happens about midgame. I won't spoil it here, but the results of it made me cry multiple times throughout the playthrough.

Anyway--this scenario is caused by a decision that you have no say in. But considering the situation and the expectations surrounding it, it's understandable why the main character, King Eryk, made it in the first place. It's a decision that cannot change, because the results of that decision is completely unforseen and unexpected. And that's incredibly heartbreaking.

But your choices do matter. I feel like the game isn't incredibly engaging in terms of the gameplay itself--petitioners come to your throne and request this or that, you call lords to ally with you against the oncoming battle... you interact with your family and help them in their own little side-quests... but I feel like it's the interpersonal connections that King Eryk has with everyone that makes me so... giddy about the game.

You can tell that Eryk is a good father, and he tries to be a good king. He loves his wife and he loves his three daughters, even if none of his daughters are the heirs to his throne (mideval-inspired, you know?). He cares deeply about his kingdom and about others. And that makes grief hit hard, when grief does happen.

People also complain about how the first half of the game is 'useless' when... I don't know, I disagree with that, to be honest. It gives you a taste of what to expect in the latter half, and it builds the stakes because the only reason you survived in the first half was dumb luck. And it allows you time to sink into the world and learn more about Eryk, as well as how he interacts with the characters. It's so important to have that first half because without it, you would never be able to establish that love that Eryk has for his daughter, Lorsulia, and how much she in turn loves her family.

Sure, the ending itself is kind of a letdown, in terms of how much they vary from each other and whatnot. But I don't think that the game is solely about the ending. It feels more about survival and doing whatever you can to survive. It's about trying to survive while also not putting your family at stake--it's about helping and understanding your family's needs and wants in the process.

And it's stressful, because the second half of the game is so... resource-intensive. It isn't something I'm going to get into because Spoilers but I'm. Hahaha. Wow.

Anyway yeah the game made me cry like three or four times. Because that's how much the game made me Feel.

Would I play again? Probably not.

Would I recommend it? Yes, if that's the kind of game you're into.

Still a little teary-eyed about it. Yeesh, that was. Certainly A Ride.

opinions on the various cog managers of TTCC

wow thank you for asking because i want to infodump

i like the main taskline managers, i think especially derrick man has really fun dialogue interacting with the other toon while also adding more information about how many cogs think and how they find boring stuff fun. i don't have much to say about facility managers but i love skelecogs designs in general

but the regional managers are the reason why i wanted to get into toontown. don't get me wrong toontown is a really charming game with a fun gameplay, it's a good game without them but it is massively improved with them in it. They add a lot of personality and really interesting stories to this world. I feel like you can do A LOT with the concept of toontown and i'm glad CC is doing just that, with more content coming in the future, it's really exciting

Duck Shuffler is my personal favorite because i think he is funny. But seriously i do really like his design and he has a really fun personality specially compared with how serious cogs usually are. That's why I really like Major Player too, he is fun, he is theatrical, he puts on a good show, he does not care about this big corporation he cares about his music and his shows, which is a really interesting concept to explore. I know the fusion isn't canon but it adds a lot to their relationship and how well they work together, how neither really care about this fight with toons and just like to have a good time

In fact managers like Rainmaker, Multislacker and Chainsaw Manager also explore the idea that there are cogs that simply don't want (or care) to fight the toons. Rainmaker i adore, she's one of my favorites, seeing a cog that is so miserable working in this company but can't even reach out to toons either is really tragic. Adding the mercy option to this battle is a game changer, this is something that you don't expect in toontown and yet they pull it off perfectly, Rainmaker leaves a really big impact on you and gives you high hopes for what the future of this game can offer you

Multislacker is a fun character, i tend to really love the cartoony apathetic nihilistic characters, and they offer another interesting perspective of what if there are cogs that just do not care, that they see the monotony of the endless gameplay of toons fighting cogs and cogs fighting toons. It's fun in a meta way but it's fun in the story itself too, you get to understand that this character is more than just some lazy guy, they just don't care about all of this and prefer to at least get to have fun watching tv

Chainsaw Manager is an interesting case, it's someone whose life has been ruined by working in this company. We don't know exactly why this is happening, i thought i was missing some information but it seems like this is so far an unsolved mystery? Which is interesting too, having missing pieces in the story that we will find out with time. But you don't have to understand why this is happening to understand that this guy is pretty miserable, to the point where he worries about toons's safety. He also has the best animation in the entire game lol all the budget went to this man. I feel bad that i don't have much to say about Treekiller but the fact that he has a brotherly bond with Chainsaw Manager is what makes me care the most about this character, they have very different personalities but it's always so nice to see cogs that care about each other

It's why i really love Firestarter and Pacesetter as well, these two have a romantic relationship and i think it's awesome there is gay people in this game. shy nervous character with confident energetic character kind of relationship which i always find really endearing. Firestarter has one of my favorite designs of the game, Pacesetter's fight is insane, and overall both of them are characters i really like individually and work even better as a couple

Deepdiver is one of my favorites simply because i am autistic and love marine biology, so she's of course and instant favorite (we even share the same name lol), plus overall they're very sweet and it's interesting that there are cogs that DO care about the environment. Gatekeeper, her girlfriend, talks like rouxl kaard so i can barely understand her but i love her personality and knight helmet is always an awesome design choice

Prethinker is another big favorite of mine and he's the complete opposite of complexity, he is the most cartoon villain of them all and i love him exactly for that. i just think he is really funny, loser forever stuck in the first area of the game

I don't have super interesting things to say about the rest of the managers but i like them a lot too. Bellringer is funny to me, Mouthpiece is grandma, Featherbedder is sleepy nonbinary representation. I like plutocrat but i like his skelecogs more, and sorry to witch hunter but i do not care about this man lol

Overall this game has really fun characters, a really good cast of characters to infodump about

What is your absolute favorite kind of chaeacter to write? Do you prefer a certain hender? Age group? And if you feel so inclined, I'd love to hear why.

Oh wow, I've never actually thought about any of that before. I'm still fairly new to writing (I only started writing for the first time last November, 2021), and haven't written enough different types of characters to really know which kind I prefer writing.

Honestly, how fun a character is for me to write, depends largely on what situation they've been put, and what other characters they interact with. Sans bantering with Papyrus, or being lovey dovey with Frisk, will always be more fun for me to write about, than if he were arguing with Chara, or talking with a stranger, for example. And I'll always enjoy writing about a character being a doting parent to their child, no matter who they are.

But if I had to give a proper answer, I'd say that my absolute favourite kind of character to write, would have to be one whose idea of what's "normal" is so abnormal to most people, that they never react to anything the way you'd expect them to (if that makes sense).

My best example would be my reader character from my fic "Good Girl Needs Kiss". Because she's a witch, who's very rarely interacted with people before, she has an odd way of seeing the world. Things most people would consider weird are, to her, perfectly normal, and things many would consider to be normal are, to her, fascinating and bizarre. If someone were to give her a flower, for example, her first thought would be how to use it in a magical potion. Her second thought would be to eat it. It would never occur to her that it was meant to be decorative. Any romantic connotations or intentions would, equally, be totally lost on her, unless specifically pointed out.

I absolutely loved writing her, because even just writing her thoughts made me constantly giggle aloud. She's so hilarious to me, that I can't help cracking up while thinking about how she'd react to something or someone, and how other characters around her would react to her. I love fluff and I love humour, so I love writing characters I find funny.

As for genders, I prefer writing female characters, solely because I, myself, am female, and so I find it easier to put myself in the headspace of a woman, rather than any other gender. It's why most of the characters whose personality and gender are left ambiguous (ie. Frisk and Chara) are women in my fics (that and because babies! They gotta have them babies! :3)

I don't have a specific age group I prefer writing, beyond just "adult". It's been a while since I've been a kid, and even when I was one, I didn't behave or think like any of the kids around me, and the only child I regularly interact with is my 3yo niece (who is very precocious), so I'm not sure how a "normal" kid is supposed to act like. I just write children how I want them to be, rather than what they might actually be like.

I hope I've managed to answer all of your questions properly. And thank you very much for asking them! I'd never given any of these any real thought before, so it was interesting having to seriously ponder them.

How H is so protective of L and how L is so caring, their whole dynamic, how it's so easy to imagine them doing what they do in your fics cause their charcter is really similar to that of the real character( I'm not sure if that made any sense but hope it does), it's really beautiful!
