Are there any questions the prisoners may have about the outside world? Like if they're wondering about how their families/friends are doing, or about stuff they're interested in. Obvs Milgram is isolated as heck, so I'm sure they have questions like that. (Don't need to answer them though!)

oh, a lot of them thought that milgram is just a game or a show of some kind until. well. they realized that they really will be judged for their crimes (this is why riku snapped and decided to do everything that he can to make the guards feel sorry for him). so i think most of them wouldn't worry that much about the outside world until getting interrogated or hearing about their verdicts.

some of them think a lot about their friends and families though! i think if i had to rate them from those who worry about their loved ones the most to those who almost never think about them, the list would look like this:

kei (misses his parents, especially his mother, and his muse/the person he kidnapped)

akio (hopes his parents are okay and don't worry about him too much + thinks a lot about his follower)

yurika (misses her boss, doesn't care much about her parents though)

shun (it depends on the day, sometimes he worries about his ex a lot and sometimes he can't even remember her name and what she looked like)

riku (doesn't think about his family too much, but hopes his bandmates/friends are doing well)

eiko (wonders if her father and little brother (i've never mentioned this before, but she does have one!) are okay, but doesn't worry too much)

reina (she knows that her parents won't be happy to see her and it's painful for her to think about her friends, so..)

asahi (he doesn't have a place to call home, so he doesn't want to think about the outside world in general. his "real mother" is already with him, so he's gonna be fine.. at least he hopes so)

naomi (almost never thinks about the outside world and if she does, she just thinks about her siblings and her victim's parents)

aimi (never thinks about them)

if canongram does have a few characters who actually try to find out more information about this place, i'm gonna be honest, my prisoners don't care about it that much right now, haha. but i think some of them actually will start asking the guards more questions in season 2.. but here's the problem: the guards also take their job way too seriously and don't think this is an experiment or anything like that. and they also don't know anything about milgram! how fun! t2 guards scare me

Saw you with that lowly demon again in the hallway and he just wasn't having it anymore

He called you to him

"We are going on a date tonight at 7. Be ready. Don't make me wait."

You seemed confused but very excited

He was too and just smirked at the angry demon behind you

Mammon:

Was waiting outside for you to go home together and he saw you from the distance with the demon

Gets closer to investigate

Did...did that demon just touch their arm?

Seriously, why are you acting all happy and giggly with them?

He can't bare to watch...it....it kind of hurts

Before he knows it he's getting in between you two

"What? You wanna be food or somethin'? C'mon." He growls and drags you away angrily

The other demon tried to protest but Mammon slid into demon form in an instant so they backed off

He held your hand all the way home but he was silent until you got to the door

"Don't ever do that again...ya hear me? You're definitely mine, got it?"

Levi:

Couldn't wait to show you his new video of funny anime clips he made

He made sure to include some of your favorites, he knew you'd love it!

He went looking for you around lunch

Who is that demon...why are they so close to you?

They're getting too cozy...

He saw the demon wrap their arm around your waist while you laughed

TOO COZY

Before he knew it he slipped into his demon form and went yelling at the two of you

He grabbed you and dragged you away yelling about normies and his time

The other demon barely had time to say anything since Levi shot them a death glare

He kept mumbling angrily and finally stopped when you two were away from everyone

"You can't do things like that! I won't allow it! You're my player two, okay!? And...and tonight is date night!"

Satan:

Went to go meet you at the library

Noticed you were talking to a demon he was seeing around more often

Decided to spy just a little...was curious is all

Went from chill to "chill 🙂" when he saw the other demon kiss your hand

He rushed over and cleared his throat and offered a not so friendly hello

The demon didn't leave...great

When you went to the restroom Satan threatened them

"If you know what's good for you, I suggest you stay away."

Don't catch his paws

The demon had heard stories about Satan's wrath so they complied

He explained to you the other demon had things to do

"Hey while I have you here...would you like to go on a date this weekend?"

Asmo:

Was on his way to class but got nosy when he saw you were with someone that wasn't his brothers

He stayed back to check if you were safe

A small flame erupted when he saw the other demon lightly brush your hair with their finger

Ha! As if he could ever be jealous of someone like them!

But they were getting all your attention...

Sauntered over and introduced himself

He suggested the other demon leave since they would never be good enough for you

You seemed embarrassed but also delighted by the turn of events

"Sorry it took long...will you go on a date with me♡?"

He can't have anyone scoop up what's his 💅

Beel:

Went to look for you after school

Saw you with another demon in an empty  classroom

Saw the demon take both your hands

You were blushing and they were giving you a flirty smile

Before Beel knew it he was in front of you both and took the other demons hands off you, who protested

Beel bared his fangs and they backed off

"Lets go." Beel pulled you away angrily and carried you home

Why did he do that?

Was nervous/upset when he thought about you meeting with that demon so he was clingy for a few days

He froze when he saw the demon hanging around you again

He asked you out in front of the other demon and admitted he didn't want to see you with anyone else

Thought he was having a nightmare when he saw you and another demon flirting in class

He silently made his way towards you both and faced the other demon

He eagerly seeked you out after classes ended and came upon a crushing sight

You were laughing in the arms of another demon in the empty hallway

He was pleased to see the other demon cower and excuse themselves quickly

The black aura probably helped warn them of the danger too

He carried you home and from then on, everyone knew you two were officially dating

Was on his way to Diavolo's office when he saw you and a demon skipping class and looking friendly...

Not a fan of this new development but chose to ignore it, he had bigger things to focus on after all

Tried to continue to Diavolo's office unnoticed

It wasn't until he saw the demon wrapping their arm around you that he really snapped and walked over

"Ahem. Excuse me to interrupt..."

Pulled you away to the nearest empty classroom

Pushed you against the wall, his gloved hand held your face gently

"I apologize for not making my intentions clear before. We are together, starting now. I did not like what I witnessed and know that won't happen again."

you looked up at miguel who was tirelessly working on hunting down the location and coordinates of several anomalies and assigning units to track and take them down, but you wanted miguel to get off work now and let him be pampered by you. of course, he could never say no to his sweet little partner, his sweet little partner who was just excellent at tempting and swooning him every chance you got.

"miggyyyyy..." you called out for him from below as you slinked around his office, with him momentarily pausing his tapping and scrolling on the screens at the sound of your bewitching voice ringing throughout his ears. he tried his hardest to keep his concentration intact, but when it came to you... all focus would be put on you, and you alone.

"what is it, nena?" he asked you in a composed voice, one that tried not to sound too curious at your sudden arrival. you smiled, you knew he couldn't say no to your offer. you stepped closer towards miguel's platform as it slowly descended; he hadn't brought his platform down for anybody all day, not until you came and gave him a reason to with your arrival.

you waited until he turned around slightly to face you, and when he did, you began to toy with the strings on the back of your dress as you looked up at miguel. his mahogany brown eyes were focused now on your own gleaming ones as you smiled mischievously. "wanna... take a little break, mig?" you asked him in a sultry voice, which made miguel pause again for a little bit. you know he could never say no to you when you used that voice on him, you really were his little temptress.

miguel took in a small breath and resumed his work. "querida, i'm awfully busy right now." he said in such a nonchalant voice, but there was no fooling you–he just needed a small... push to say yes. you chuckled lightly at his excuse. "well then... guess you don't wanna shower with me, then." you teased as you pretended to be disappointed and looked down at the ground.

and at that moment, when miguel heard the words, 'shower with me,' he immediately tore his eyes away from the screens and hopped off the platform–his eyes wide and his lips apart slightly at your offer. he walked over to you in a slight hurry as he muttered, "ah, nevermind, then, someone else can take care of that. now, shall we?" he offered you as he placed his right hand on your shoulder, and his left index finger curled as he lightly ran it across your bare back.

you giggled at miguel folding for you all of a sudden and put your hand on his as you turned your head around to meet his gaze. "of course, miggy." you cooed to him as you pulled yourself away from his touch and teased him at the sight of you toying with the strings behind your dress that were the only things holding it up. forget the anomalies' coordinates, all miguel can focus on right now are those flimsy strings on your dress that he'd rather want to tear off of you.

Do you respond to comments? Yes. I sometimes forget I have ao3 ngl but 99% of the time I respond to comments on wattpad if I can remember.

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Usually I try to give happy endings to stories because I'm that kind of person. So towards the end I'll have something angsty but the very end will usually end on a better note. But In The Shadow of Her has a decently angsty towards the end because it follows along with the game and In The Shadow of Magic has is angstier towards the end for several reasons lol.

What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Honestly--outside of my full fics, my one shot "Moving in" probably has the happiest ending.

Do you get hate on fics? Perhaps??? I'm not really sure. I've gotten a few off-handed comments that make me go "???" and any hate comments have been very rare.

Do you write smut? Lol nope and I never will. I'm okay with writing stories without it.

Craziest crossover? Ummm I can't really remember ever writing a crossover but me and my bsf would joke about Sebastian and Ominis going to a Jackson Wang party so?? Does that count? 😂

Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes. Many times. Me and my old fandom buddies from a long time ago would do it.

What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? My old fanfics from old fandoms that have just been sitting on my computer for four years LOL.

What are your writing strengths? Fluff, usually. I'm good at Angst too. Romance eehhh kinda?? I've never been in a relationship so I don't really know how it works but I've written several relationships that I think were good.

Thoughts on dialogue in another language? I used to do this a lot actually. But I doubt 100% of it was correct. Now that I'm older, I definitely hesitate more with it. But I think it's super cool and I planned on doing it for my fics but my MC's first language is Irish (Gaeilge, Irish Gaelic whatever you wanna call it lol) and in the 1800's it was even harder than it is today SOOOO in order to avoid mess ups, I just used one-word expressions most of the time.

First fandom you wrote in? Oh gosh, I can't even remember. Maybe it was Merlin??? Spirit Animals?? I don't even remember cuz it was so long ago.

Favorite fic you've written? My favorite fic is probably not even and HL one LOL. But to keep it HL, all of my books have a special place in my heart and I really can't choose. Some of them have strengths over others and that much is clear but idk if I'd ever be able to choose.

But the tl;dr of it is that in her main DnD campaign, she's a homebrew mix! Her race is Flowershifter (type of non hostile Fey) and Brightmaid (unborn child blessed by s unicorn- basically, she's a unicorn girl), and her class is muscle wizard

She grew up very isolated with her adopted dad in the Fey Wilds, bc hunters and poachers would try to capture or kill her for being a Brightmaid. (Brightmaids being easier to kill than unicorns, especially children)

Her dad taught her how to fight aggressively to protect herself, and she busied herself with reading everything she could (not very much 😔), and by making clothes.

They had very few materials, but her dad would go and find some for her, and it became one of the few ways she could express herself. She wanted to make cute clothes for herself so bad, so she learned how

She struggles a lot with understanding emotions (showing them specifically), and grew up extremely lonely. She ran away from home bc the loneliness was basically killing her, and she was finally too curious. Plus she wanted to prove that she was strong enough to protect herself now.

She longed to learn about everything she could - people, places, history, everything

But she starts out really socially awkward and unaware of a lot of societal norms (like flirting). she longs to make friends and often tries by giving them gifts (which doesn't always work in the main campaign, bc she's Fey, and some think she's trying to gain a favor)

Amaryllis loves reading, learning, sewing, fighting/sparring (she is extremely stubborn about winning), cute things, bunnies, strawberries, and cuddling/hugs/physical affection in general (bc she only got it from her dad and wanted friends to share that with)

Her dad couldn't kiss her on the forehead bc of her horn, so he kissed her cheek, and so she internalized that as a way to show people she cares about affection!!

Amaryllis is extremely demi-sexual and demi-romantic, so it takes a long time for her to like someone romantically djhcjcx which is honestly why me n my friend went with Astarion as her love interest in the playthrough with her, and if i do draw more comics, it would be a slow burn for them all fjvchchc

She's also in a polycule with 5 other boyfriends currently, her main love interest being Percival (who has a lot of similarities to Astarion fjhfjhg) and i have a ton of art of them on my blog

LONG POST AHEAD (SPIN WENT FUCKING BRRR)

[below the cut is me being very sappy about my love for dragons]

Intro 

Okay so I know you might mean about got/hotd (and i will get there) but I very much adore dragons and just need to scream about them for a sec.

Ever since I was little, I always had a huge affinity for dragons. I don't know what exactly drew me in but it probably had something to do with their amazing designs, colors, and personalities they got to have. I own like several different dragon books (4-7) because that's how obsessed I was as a kid. I wanted to know anything and everything about them, not realizing dragons have such a vast lore and change between depictions-- but little me did not give a fucking shit. I collected a book that went through like the basic overview of dragons, I got another book (drawing book) that went through different types of dragons, and a few more that I can't remember off the top of my head. Anything remotely dragon related I wanted because I was that kid. Not to mention the vast amount of drawings and writings I did about dragons. I made oc dragons, backstories, came up with a different language — I’m pretty sure I even talked about dragons in my school work. I was obsessed man (still am).

Now I watched a lot of different shows/movies/games even that had some dragon in it-- and it would instantly become my favorite thing from it. So obliviously , I grew attachments to a lot of them but here a just a handful who mean the most to me, the dragon kid--

Mulan - Mushu

I will never not love this funky lil man, okay? Like who the fuck doesn’t want a little pocket sized dragon to follow you around?

He's giddy, exuberant, and most importantly funny. Honestly, why I probably love Mulan so much is for him alone. I know I wished, for like the longest time, to have a lil dragon who would follow me around everywhere/talk to me— that was the dream for me. Although the boosts himself up to sound all big and bad dragon, he really comes across as friendly which I enjoyed a lot. He’s comedic but in the end proves that’s he’s truly has a big heart. Most book depreciations I had read had always either made the dragon big and scary or like all-knowing and untouchable. For me, as a kid, Mushu was a little hilarious red dragon that could keep me company, give me advice (albeit maybe a little bad), or just chill in my company. He was the almost ideal dragon in my brain I wanted to bond with and take on grand adventures.

Spirited Away - Haku/Kohaku

Now, I preface this with I have Spirited Away in DVD— and would put that disk in religiously; that was my movie.

I love Spirited Away (one of the first anime movies I ever watched) for all the incredible character designs and to the sheer magnitude of the fantastical setting it take places. As a kid, I wanted to explore those strange worlds between and see all different types of people, creatures and just experience fantasy. Like, yeah is it pretty fucked up watching your parents turn into pigs-- but holy shit, yall see No-Face???? My fucking beloved right there; I adored them immediately when I watched that movie. like their design, although “basic” is very fucking cool and they’re such an amazing fucking character, even without having to say much. Absorbing creatures and using their voices to speak but also gaining their personality-- there is so many layers to No-Face, it’s impossible not be intrigued and infatuated with them. (

I say all this  (not cause i was drawn off subject) to say--

Of course was also drawn to Haku. Yes, kid me had a big fucking crush on him(i mean truly who didn’t have a crush on hm bro); he fits my lovely lil blorbo niche perfectly. The stoic yet observant character was very interesting to me and I wanted to know more about him upon immediately seeing him. Then there was his dragon form, which is one of my favorites till this day; the white and green fur is iconic. He’s a bit more feral in that form but he’s not feral for no reason. His name has been stolen from him, forgotten so he acts accordingly; untrusting, aloof, and callous until Chihiro saves him from Yubaba’s control. Once gets his real name again, he’s free again and he does what he is meant to do. The reveal of him being a river spirit, and the way in which his dragon moves, smooth and flowing like water-- it’s simply perfect!!! 

HTTYD - Toothless

Now I wasn’t the biggest biggest fan of How To Train Your Dragon (I say having seen the 2nd movie in theater), I did enjoy the seeing all the varied types of dragons in the show, especially Toothless. First off, Night Fury is a hard name for a species of dragon. The concept of a disabled dragon was something I’ve never seen before, and it was very cool to see a dragon adapt to having an artificial limb. Then there was also the retractable teeth, which I thought was fucking cool too. Toothless’s curious, cat-like, personality was very nice to see and I enjoy the little goober. 

Hobbit Trilogy - Smaug

I know The Hobbit  trilogy gets a lot of shit but I can’t help but to like it for a bunch of different reasons. One of those being Smaug. Look I know every other dragon on this list has been actually either sweet or they’re not really mean but I just had to like this motherfucker. 

Foremost I absolutely adore his design, I think he also has another great and amazing dragon design. The sheer eyes scene at the end of ‘An Unexpected Journey”, had lil ol kid me wiggling in my fucking seat. He’s so fucking big (even though he’s one of the smaller ones in the universe) and seeing how easily he tore about Laketown in meer seconds was terrifying-- but also super cool. His look and movements are very fucking creepy too. The way he shifts around when talking to Bilbo when he first discovers him, it’s very clear it is a predator stalking his prey. He knows he’s intimidating and uses that to his advantage; keeping his movements slow so his “victims” can get the idea that he is this massive, undefeatable being. He’s proper and respectable, his ego and pride getting the best of him because he knows there’s nothing they can do to hurt him; they can’t possibly kill him. Then when he’s finally angered, his stature changes and he begins using his body like the weapon it’s designed to be. He’s agitated and swats with his tail and tries biting a whole lot more because at this point he doesn’t give a fuck. 

Smaug is such a douche of a dragon too, he embodies the typical dragon instincts (wanting his big ol pile of dwarf gold) whilst being a snarky bitch about it. He’s both archetypes of dragons in one, all knowing and an asshole, who doesn’t care who the fuck he’s got to hurt to get to his fucking gold. He toys with Bilbo, simultaneously warning him of Thorin’s downfall but also making him fear the things to come. Then when he finally sees Thorin again, he eggs him on-- knowing how easily he gets under his skin, knowing that really he can’t do anything to hurt him; he does the same thing with Bard. He uses his words to pick and pry at people’s head because he’s got a superiority complex; he is a high being, why should he listen to anyone else? I love how strong his ego was, how much he really gave no shit about anyone else and how even visceral his death was-- like watching a flame finally die out. 

GOT/HOTD - Rhaegal, Viserion, Drogon, Syrax, Caraxes (spoilers btw)

What you’ve all been waiting for!!! So funnily enough, I did come into the GOT scene pretty late (around s6-ish) and I really enjoyed lots of things about the series-- especially the dragons. 

I adore the design of these boys so much-- they huge, different colors, spiky and look like they can (and very much will) turn your ass to dust. But at the same time we can see their thoughts and emotions through their eyes, how they process the words from Dany or the emotions from others. I truly think they have a level of empathy, besides with Dany, and their little softening expressions as they recognize those emotions and then go about doing their dragon business. 

The depiction of dragons in GOT is really one of my favorite, because just like humans they have bonds, whether it’s between their rider or even each other. Rhaegal, Viserion, and Drogon being Dany’s children was so sweet to me because even through the struggles they recognized her as their rider, their mother and wanted to protect her and they also see each other as family. They’re a unit! It did hurt badly seeing their reactions to Viserion’s death and then Drogon’s was painful because their own little family fell right a part through their fingers. We see how badly Dany takes it but also Drogon who loses his brother’s and his mother in the process. He’s hurting just as bad but there is no comfort as he still wants to follow his mom to the end, and there’s no sympathies for him from anyone. I like to think him burning the throne was a way for him to process his ever growing grief, destroying the thing that had destroyed the only family he had ever known. 

Okay so with HOTD I am very happy to see dragons back again, like bro I missed them so much.

I love the relationship that Syrax and Rhaenyra have, it’s so sweet and perfectly mimics how Dany was with her children. It’s very clear the dedication the two of them have between each other and she easily picks up on Rhaenyra’s emotions. I love Syrax’s color, although there is something about her face shape that I don’t really like, she’s a beautiful dragon. 

Then there’s Caraxes (i apologize for the bias that is about to come out). I fucking adore Caraxes, his design is literally everything, like god he’s so fucking badass. The blood red color, the horns; truly a magnificent dragon indeed. I read somewhere that he’s deformed which is why the way he looks like how he does and also sound like that and I still think its amazing. He works with his elongated body, using his long neck like he’s a snake. He’s so fucking beautiful, I adore him. 

It’s very clear he’s got the same strong bond with Daemon and he’s clearly very protective of him. Perhaps they bond in a way because they both feel out of place in the family (dragon lineage for Caraxes) because they’re so different from everyone else. 

In conclusion - i think got/hotd dragons and their riders should go off  and chill on beaches and be happy because they deserve it.

hi again! so i was writing down the outlines for the story and i came up with something:

what if haechan and oc were childhood best friends and she always had a crush on him but he never liked her like that, so obviously he dates other people but they are all silly flings until he meets his ex that is literally perfect and nice and that’s why oc is so jealous of her / can’t stand her, 1) hyuck doesn't love her and 2) she can't find a reason to hate her. but then hyuck and his ex break up (we need to come up with a good reason for this break-up it's going to be hard) and as always oc is the one lifting him up, always by his side and she's confident about making him fall for her (kind of if i get my way vibes). so one thing leads to another and they start dating. but as you said in the first anon it's like a rebound for him like he feels good with oc because she has always been his best friend and they truly get along but he's not sure that what he feels is love. i think it can be nice because jaemin could also try to open her eyes by saying that haechan is not the same he was when they were young and she needs to let go of this image of him she has in her eyes. AND them being best friends before being partners makes it even more painful because not only she's terrified of losing a lover BUT also her dearest friend. obviously this will be implied (maybe there will be some flashbacks) and the story will start with them already in a relationship.

anyway, their relationship has been going on for a year / a year and a half when haechan makes oc and jaemin meet. AND i was thinking that jaemin and hyuck have known each other for quite some time but lived in different cities (e.g.: jaemin had to move and now he's back). option one: if i make it a college!au jaemin could've changed university in his second year and now he and haechan are roommates. so imagine the DRAMA when haechan and oc break up but she keeps seeing jaemin so she’s always at their place and hyuck has to watch jaemin treat her better and all the romantic things going on. maybe the first time jaemin and oc have sex he overhears them but he doesn’t think it’s her and then boom in the morning she’s in the kitchen WEARING JAEMIN’S SHIRT and he loses his mind (like you said and even hurts her with words) option two: if it's not a college!au haechan offers (double stabbing himself in the back) jaemin to be his flatmate so they can split the bills, spend time together and so on. and then the rest is the same as option 1, same pain, same tears. probably this would be more interesting because since they would share a house jaemin would also see their domestic dynamics, idk maybe she acts as if their living together and provides even for his place but haechan doesn't do the same for her and jaemin would get mad ever for that, idk

also, wanted to ask if you minded if i gave oc a name and some physical characteristics (since i think of setting it in korea she'll be korean i guess) or do you want me to write it nameless like in the new stories i’m posting?

I'd like to get back to my first Ninjago fic, Finding the Original. It started off as a single story inspired by Detroit: Become Human but then evolved into a high school au dhwkejeo (also sorry Morro, I yoinked his vision for... some reason I don't remember?? He's not even a main character...) This story focuses on Zane and Jay, though Cole is a prominent character too (I think I wanted to make it have Hailstorm instead of just techno?) Cyrus and Echo are in it too, both important characters. (It also has Waith and Thinkfast (the reason it became a whole AU instead of just one fic ckhxkgxjg) and my OCs Lesley and Estelle are here :))

I've also been wanting to write a story expanding on the oneshot I wrote, Photograph. Throughout the years, Misako has been sending letters and gifts to Lloyd, even though she never gets responses. It goes into how much she hated having to leave him, and how desperate she became in trying to find a way to stop the prophecy and save her son and husband.

Ohhhh I would also like to do something with the alternate timeline au, which is where Misako tells Wu before he says anything to Morro that telling him about the prophecy is his stupidest idea ever, and some other stuff, so.... he doesn't end up bringing it up, there's no strain, and Morro doesn't leave to prove himself or die tragically young. He starts a fight between Cecil and Garmadon at some fancy Explorers Club event they tagged along on dutsutsut

I swear to god, a pet peeve of mine is when the reader/character doesn't ask "is this alright?" Or "can I do this?".

Established relationships get a pass, but whenever I see this: reader/character confesses to the other, they get horny and wanna fuck, reader or character like spanks or chokes them out of damn nowhere.. like hello? Consent?? Like yeah they both enjoy it but you have not talked about this.

I wish more writers included consent, (another pet peeve of mine is not tagging things correctly) i don't want to see sudden degrading or choking.

I also love an early chilton story, esp an early chilton paris. this poor repressed baby lesbian, all huffy bc this new girl barged into her path who’s unfairly pretty and smart, it’s just *chefs kiss* without getting into spoilers (bc I still wanna give some auara of ~mystery~ to this), some time ago I alluded to a massive gellmore fic I was gunna post that I then didn’t - BUT, it’s still in the works and it is nearly done, and I do wanna post it sooner then later, and it does hark on those themes. I also have just like...a bunch of dead early-chilton drafts just hanging out in my gg folder LOL my first fic I ever posted, I had rory leave an anonymous valentines for paris, and then I wrote another one on the flip side where paris instead leaves one - maybe that’s something I could dust off. I’ve always had a love for them dating in high school - which is hard, bc I feel at that point it’s still too..early, in their dynamic for that to happen (they still are getting to know each other as friends, which is why making them date in the college years is easier). but the idea is just so cUTE with them all young and blushy as they try to navigate dating and first kisses and aaaaaaa! plus, it’s an interesting idea for me to see how paris would do, if she let someone in and had that kind of love earlier then later, bc it’s not till into the yale years maybe, that paris is really sure rory is her friend and will never betray her, so she can rely on her as such. what would happen, if she had someone get closer and potentially make her teen  years less miserable/lonely.

but yes, she’s a fun character to explore, which is why I’ve done it so often in fics LOL the harsh exterior mixed in with such an emotional heart, how she pretends she’s above having friends and thinks she can go it alone juxtaposed to every soft smile she gives to rory (the heart eyes! the heart eyes!!!!!!!), how she is an Absolute Weirdo who tries to mold herself to society’s normalcy like her mother forces her too but instead is just So Strange (which makes yet another reason she fits with rory/would be a perfect in-law for lorelai) - gotta love that girl. I love a paris discussion, so always feel free to rant about her to me :)
