What in the world...
Okay so for context: I was playing Pretty U to clear daily missions. And I had like 3 Goods and 1 Miss. And I figured "yeah, par for the course" and obviously didn't take a screenshot of those results (because why would I unless it's a full combo).
BUT. Apparently that still counted as Perfect Hits??? I guess it's a bug considering that that definitely shouldn't happen. But I recently had this happen with Fear too. Even though I tried fc-ing Fear for ages and just 1 Good would screw me over. And a long time ago that happened with Hot too.
I mean I guess I can't complain considering I did kind of get those shiny gold badges handed to me for free. But it just doesn't sit right with me that I didn't genuinely get a full combo on those songs.

the thing about in stars and time that just really got to me ASIDE FROM THE OBVIOUS is how siffrin feeling such disconnect with his own country really stuck out to me as an experience a second gen immigrant has. i know im projecting but its just i have one single memory of my moms country from when i visited it as a kid, and now its become so skewed and misconstrued by my child brain that i can't even rely on it to show me what it was like. and every time siffrin tried to say his country's name, when he couldn't understand the language, when he and odile talked about how it felt to not belong anywhere, i was like...........damn.

some harmoknight headcanons i have!! this isn't all of them, but here's some for lyra and tempo!!
Lyra
Lives in Symphony City, near the exit close to Calypso Beach and the Tori Gate.
Ever since she was younger, she always wanted to protect the people she cared for most. This was her main drive to eventually become a soldier of Melodia.
She mainly patrolled Calypso Beach before the Noizoids struck, but after they did, she found herself patrolling Rock Range and Marching Hills more.
She sometimes gets into small fights with Tyko, but thankfully they simmer down before they get any worse…
Has a weakness for sweets.
Tempo
Doesn't like talking much. However, he feels comfortable talking to Woodwin and Tappy. Maybe if enough time passes, the same will go for Lyra, Tyko, Cymbi, and Ariana...?
Has a big Allegro plush in his room thanks to Octarina. Sometimes, he's even seen sleeping while hugging the thing…
Sees his mentor as a [grand]father figure of sorts.
He visits his friends quite often! Sometimes they all get together in his house to have fun :D
Can be seen drawing sometimes. His art isn't the greatest, but they're charming enough to make you smile!
Despite saving the world, he still does training. Can't have his skills growing rusty!
Doesn't like going to Baroque Volcano. You know why.

nysh is a fan of trigun?? 👀👀 ohoho i knew you've got excellent taste~ who are your favorite characters and arcs? :D personally, i'm a big fan of millie for being an incredibly rare type of anime woman!
*me in the middle of a 200k fic* oh wai-OOOH omg, ahaha you saw that! Geezus, it's been like 20 years - truthfully I saw a new fanart reblogged by someone and I was like '...huh, this feels like it might reawaken something, lemme go revisit something to check...[several days of binge watching + reading later] oh good goddd my tween self was RIGHT; I REMEMBER now!'
Ahaha oh man, anyway re-looking at it with older eyes, yeah there were some outdated 90s filler gags that prob wouldn't fly now, that I'm glad the actual manga (barring the pilot ch) and new anime don't have those, as they didn't serve any purpose for the mc, who's practically an undying saint walking that lone, suffering road of redemption under the biggest stepford smile of pain & loss I've seen. I was also pleased the manga went pretty hard (seinen levels) expanding and committing to things that the old anime just didn't have enough info to do (both character + deep lore wise, esp for Wolfwood and the villain Knives, which the old anime kinda shafted), so I enjoyed that a lot - I was INVESTED to learn about all those traumatic scars and lost history! (Which imo surprisingly felt more like Xenogears/saga with the crash-landing mysterious 'alien' origins, psychotic evil twin, religious imagery, and deep space/sci-fi tone, rather than as a gunslinging spaghetti western.) Also noteworthy how each iteration of the story is completely doing its own separate thing now (the arcs and progression's all different, so beyond the lost July city and Fifth Moon incidents releasing his planet buster against his will, it's hard to choose a 'fav arc')...so yay 3 cakes!
I'd say that whenever shit got real though, the moment my mind started to wonder like '...wait, where are the girls? are they okay, what happ-' BOOM, they'd bust out saving the day or turning the tide in the most awesome way, full rejoicing and *whew* relief on my part!! (Ex, a fav manga moment: [spoiler] when Meryl burst out of his biblically accurate angel wings, understandably scared but with guns blazing, breaking the villains' locked stalemate, that was soooo fucking cool. ;o;) So yes, that was a lot of fun - and oh yes Milly!! She's like...if a classic himbo were female: large, sweet and strong and dopey, but also sharp, dependable, competent and so wholesome. :'3 Extremely good vibes to have her around~ (That I guess, the current speculation's how the anime's new guy might get fridged for Meryl's development, to take up his guns and meet her partner Milly later...but we'll see!) Other than that, I'm interested to see where the new anime takes things, as I can already recognize they're spinning in manga elements that were only introduced Very Late in the game - flipping the order around for what purpose, unknown yet, so hopefully they get enough real estate to properly cook things!

Terror Camp Moon 1
Bc I have to be obnoxious since i wasted hours on this.
Quick note that much of this ‘game’ is randomly generated. I edited the cats’ appearances and basic stats/traits, but stuff like their position in camp and what happens when they patrol, what they’re doing when u click on them, that’s all randomized based on the aforementioned stats.
Let’s see what they’re doing individually, starting with our three lonesome doves
honestly it checks out, the game is already accurate. What about Macca and Tozer though
gossiping...with WHOMST.....you talking to the lady of the lake????
Meanwhile Blanky and Hickey look like they’re in deep conversation about something.
This just sounds like Blanks is already onto Hickey and planning accordingly
TUUNFOX????
Jopson is...relaxing???? I take it back the game is not accurate
okay cool cool cool cool let’s send out some patrols then
PATROL ONE: The Lieuts go investigate that apparent fox scent
why tf is Hedgestump the patrol leader when Eastlight is the damn deputy smh. Did they find the fox tho
OWO
okay okay next next next let’s let Blanky and Hickey go have the rest of their Discussion
*eyes.jpg*
oh shit
who did they
OH SHIT
gonna have to send this newbie with Crowstar and Macca for a little investigation
and lastly i guess we’ll let our two stewards do their thing. In this thing the Stewards get the Mediator role, so will just randomize who they help out on any given moon.
oh no
OH NO
lastly just gotta go click to advance the time and
SHGJHSDJGHSJ
annnnnnd that’s ClanGen :’D
