same theres tidbits i enjoy of kpop but its more so the general system i dont particularly agree with the way it goes about it business or i guess how idols personal lives are tied to their idol image like they cant be idols if they have personal life. i think problem is they concentrate so much on visuals than actual abilities, choreo has become such a trending topic and whilst many of them are skilled dancers a lot of them fall back on vocal abilities not all but it is obvious even in idols my age range that perhaps couldve or shouldve done better vocally.

i dont expect them all to be beyonce or taylor swift or arianas but i dont particularly care for visuals these days never have tbh, if they sing well that should be main priority but it seem to be slacking and putting any ole tosh in songs making them sound like AI wrote it (ie: lisa's rockstar song, sorry wasnt so keen on it and i love lisa as a person but not so much musically if that makes sense?) again not all bc theres still good songs in kpop but ngl they have been slacking these past few years i also think it sometime lacks maturity as well due to heavy numbers of kids debuting literal tweens and kids not saying they cant be idols in the future but damn they aint given a childhood either. i think a lot of it does come down to visuals being main focus of who debut and who doesnt, thought the same abt pd48 all the trainees i loved never debuted all the popular usually pretty ones debuted that had (imho) weaker vocals.

my problem is kpop glosses over so much tries to perfect so much in dancing no room for error they make them lipsynch bc they dont want to hear the singers breaths so they smooth all imperfections out of the songs and performances. then when some of the contestants or idols do have less listenable vocals its so noticeable. i dont condone hate trains but sometimes it doesnt surprise me at the same time bc kpop audiences tend to accept mediocre and kpop is too scared to do out of the box things so it stick with what its familiar with

soyeon, i love her bc she knew what was more important in a performer, mentioned this in her survival show the audience picked visuals over vocals. its just got so shallow and vein? i think anyone who doesnt debut in big4 then has to work harder but it pays off in some cases like ateez have varied vocals compared to maybe le sserra who lacked vocals despite them being from big4 you would expect big4 groups to be extremely talented yet kpop doesnt really let them express it fully cause they boxed into what is familiar to them and i think kpops always kinda picked idols who resemble other idols instead of going for different looks different skin colour different weight, its always had similarity in so much of these groups, even when u stand idols next to each other instead of someone standing out a lot of them end up blending in even vocally tbh its rare to find a group that the members individually stand out in their own unique ways

i dont think we even have to be in the know of music in general to know this but ehhh maybe its because the younger the audiences the more they kinda dont say if they dont like something like to them anything idols do or say in songs is still lapped up even my fave groups often have the odd song im not fond of but i still end up liking it after a few listens lol.

kpop is becoming an industrial disaster. gfriend has great choreography and they still sing live. no group can say that because of choreography we don't sing live. the seniors do it but they don't. they make 100 times more money than normal people but don't want to put in any effort. it's funny how fans like us work hard 8 hours a day to earn money to support idols, while idols don't even go to vocal lessons.

kpop has gone into a common formula to be famous. pretty faces, y2k/aesthetic concept. you just need to know how to dance a little and don't even need to know how to sing.

before, blackpink was successful with the girl crush concept, most groups followed this trend. now it's newjeans with the y2k concept. kpop has lost its diversity. i also understand, for small companies, it's hard for them to maintain concept diversity like SM, they can only follow trends to survive.

i remember kpop of gen 2, there were a lot of boy and girl groups, but no concept overlapped with each other. and also the songs of gen 3. i hoped april story of april or journey to atlantic of laboum could be more popular.

batter up wasn’t bad. idm the song tbh and at some point it might grow on me but overall the sound was boring tbh… no hate at all to the girls and stuff bc they’re so young but i feel that the company hyped this gg up for so long and with the reputation of being the next gg up yg after blackpink, the final product is less of a “this is trash” and more of a “this was all you could really do?” bc i know for a fact they probably have newer sounds kept away in the basement somewhere.

the vocals, rap, and dance are all great. but the main issue is that a lot of them are still minors. mainly the youngest who is 13. her voice will change a lot as she grows older and i hope yt know how to accommodate that properly bc i know for a fact that companies will force artists to sing in a certain range for their whole career bc “it’s what the people want”

i saw people complaining about not having a storyline to their group and tbh, i don’t think a group needs a story to be popular. i get that having concepts like that is what makes k-pop what it is, but if you focus too much on a storyline for your sounds, you lose part of the musical ascent and limit yourself to certain topics. im actually glad in this case that yg didn’t didn’t end up going with a storyline path bc it would restrict them further and with again, how they all are, having to make a concept that will fit the members for the whole long run is hard.

i think storyline are wonderful if you’re able to show subplots and different meanings within the songs without having to stick to that one story; each song is a tale itself. ateez and txt pull these off well imo just bc of the way they storylines are already so complicated, meaning you’d have to dig deeply into things for the lore. it’s not constricted to one side of things. idk if any of that made sense-

the mc was. boring… idk like i feel like the could have done so much more to show case them? the rap line had a good part in the mv where they got more physicality but the vocals just. stood. idk. maybe that’s just my inner performer who was told to use up the stage a lot coming though LMFAO

mines more so if i like the group or their songs then i follow them for some time unless i end up bored easily which happens a lot lately bc theres so much available now compared to my earlier years haha. fr the difference in music today tho like sometimes i love it sometimes i dont care enough for it and there usually has to be smth really different for a group to catch my eye.

other times im just looking for something thats my taste in terms of their songs rather than if so and so is attractive or not. so with the younger groups that are being debuted its really much less abt attraction and i can actually enjoy their songs a bit more casually as its not as serious as my 1d phase was rofl. im so embarassed bc even today the 1d members are still popular but looking back it was lowkey cringe of me. but again i dont know what i seem to truly like anymore cause it never has to be that deep yaknow? it just the way these groups are constantly supposed to have deep connections instead of enjoying their songs for simple pleasures of listening rather than obsessing abt them as potential bfs. its kind of funny to me when on their vlives they call younger members oppa and im like shit im so old bc theyre all juniors, like every nct member but taeil, seventeen and so on. bts are nice even mix of age ranges neither too young nor too old for me to feel comfortsble following them. if ateez were any younger then yes it would be so weird

im just glad we didnt have much social media back then either bc there werent anything like fancalls to do and there werent too much toxicity besides a bunch of delulus like the shipping and so on but then thats always been a recent things i think its never going to go away unless they change up the group format or do less skinship (poor joong he hates that)

O get what you're saying about ateez's music changing because, while I absolutely adore the world ep 1 and 2 (i think i had an epiphany listening to dune for the first time but i know that the very reasons I love it is why others don't like it that much), ep fin and golden hour are the albums that I enjoy the least in their discography, by far. I see everyone cheering about blind and how it's arriba's sister and how much they love the latin influence and I was just hoping for something different I guess. It's kind of funny because I'm spanish, I should be more excited that they are incorporating bits of spanish in their songs but, in general I don't like latin music, it becomes very repetitive very fast. That's just my taste, I don't think the songs are bad, in fact I enjoy the humor?? i guess?? of work. But, for example, while siren is my favourite song in the album (together with empty box) when I saw the name I thought it was the other siren you know, like the mythical kind, and that it would be more of a halazia type of song. I know I sound so pessimistic but I promise overall I liked the album, it's just that I got into ateez because of songs like answer, good lil boy and treasure and this is very different. But I understand that they are not going to always keep the same sound, and that's just the thing about following an artist's career, they are going to experiment with sounds and sometimes you enjoy the change and other times you wish they had kept their old sound.

All you said is very valid, i can't really express myself on latin music i don't know it all that well but you're making good points, and i'm still excited and curious about what they will do next, they always manage to keep me interested bc they're so endearing to me personality wise and they're the only kpop group i've followed almost from the beginning without falling out of love with them at some point so i'm thankful for that

And now I'm curious about something elseee, more specifically your taste in kpop, bc I saw that your favorite groups were Svt, Ateez, and Monsta X (you said that some time ago which could totally mean that things changed) and so I wanted to know who are your biases, maybe your favorite albums of each group, and about anything that you'd like to share about your time and experience stanning them, I would love to know if you're comfortable sharing!!

hi love! i do believe you have me confused with someone else because i haven't written for tasm!peter in a very long time and i actually have never written for miguel! but i do like svt, mx, and ateez, and i'd love to tell you about my kpop experience <3

so as the seasons change and my hobbies and interests change as well i find myself listening to other genres of music, and right now kpop isn't my priority. i still enjoy it, i still listen to it sometimes, but it doesn't have my full and complete attention anymore. that being said, i definitely still care about the groups and idols that i stan, svt being my ult group and mx and ateez coming in just beneath them.

my svt biases are seungcheol, jeonghan, and minghao, (seungcheol ult <3), and it's honestly so hard for me to pick a favorite album of theirs, i'm tempted to go with the copout answer of 'all of them', but i think attacca holds a very special place in my heart. i think that h:g is also very special to me though, as well as teenage. i almost feel guilty saying that teenage is one of my favorites, because they've talked a lot about how the production of that album was very hard on them, and how many of them weren't in a great place, but it has so many wonderful songs on it that helped get me into them as a group. i will say that i felt a lot more connected to their fandom before attacca era and onward, but that's because i feel most comfortable in smaller spaces, and while they were by no means an unknown group back then, they have gained tremendous popularity as of late (so proud of them!!!!!!), and that makes it a little harder for me to fit into the fandom. that being said, i still adore them all, and they're a huge part of my life. my best friend introduced me to svt, and it strengthened our bond so much, because we were just getting to really know each other at the time, and we grew so so so close through their music and through them. their concerts are amazing experiences, they give us so much and they're so mesmerizingly talented at what they do. i've sobbed so hard at a seventeen concert that the girl next to me who i'd never met before reached over to hug me and tell me that it was going to be okay (but who can blame me, it was during thanks </333). i've been with my best friend to see seventeen four times, twice at kcon, and twice at their own concerts. we've also seen a number of their online streams, like caratland, and the power of love concert. i flew up to visit her during our first year of college to watch POL with her, and we stayed up in her little tiny dorm bed and tried not to wake her roommates with our freakouts :')) some of my favorite pictures of the two of us are at seventeen concerts flashing our caratbongs and holding onto each other. i will always associate them with her and the wonderful friendship i found in her, and i will forever be grateful to seventeen for bringing me closer to her.

ateez was a group that i got into pre-debut, and i think that's probably why they're so special to me, besides the fact that they're fantastic at what they do, of course. my bias is hongjoong, and i've cycled through pretty much all of the rest of them as bias wreckers, but if i had to choose now i think i would say mingi, jongho, or yunho. i just <3333 i love them all <3333 like i said before, i got into ateez predebut, and they debuted when i was still fairly new to kpop, so they were the first group i'd stanned before/during debut, and i got to watch them grow and develop which was so awesome :') i actually was there for skz's debut too but they just didn't catch me like ateez did! i love all of ateez's albums, but i can say with 100% confidence that answer is my favorite song of theirs. it was my most streamed song in 2019 (?)/2020, and every single time i hear the opening i get chills. i don't know why i've attached myself so wholly to that song but it's so incredibly special to me and if i had to choose one song to listen to for the rest of my life i think that'd be it. it is so raw and powerful and hauntingly beautiful in sound alone, and ateez always produces such wonderful lyrics on top of that. i've got their lightstick (which is gorgeous and one of my favorite things that i've ever owned), and i've seen ateez twice at two different kcons, but every time i've tried buying their concert tickets i'm not able to get them in time </33 one day !!!

monsta x !!!! i've liked monsta x for a really long time as well, i think i was introduced to them around the same time that i was introduced to svt, they just didn't stick the same way. my bias is hyungwon, and my wrecker was wonho. it feels unfair to say 'was' like i don't like him anymore or something, because that's quite the opposite. i love him, but as he's technically no longer a part of the group i'm not sure if i'm supposed to say 'is' or 'was'. whatever the answer is, i love wonho <3333 but if i had to choose another wrecker, one that's still officially under the group's name, i think i'd probably choose shownu. i love him, i love them all, i love monsta x <33333 i'm not attached to one of their albums more than any others, but i do have very fond memories of waiting up until 2AM with my best friend for We Are Here to drop. i typically don't like kpop groups' english releases as much as their typical discography, but their venture into english releases with an entire album and several beautiful singles captivated me and i thoroughly enjoy the way that they expanded their horizons. some of my favorite songs of theirs are entirely in english, i love middle of the night, i love love u, but above all i think my favorite song of theirs might be one day. it makes me tear up no matter how many times i've listened to it, it's just so delicately sad and sweet. on a completely different note, the opposite end of the spectrum, hero makes me feel like i've got a massive dick and balls. thank u monsta x for creating the banger of the century with that one. i tried getting tickets to monsta x concerts twice, and i couldn't :( but i did get to see them at kcon one year, which was absolutely awesome :') i have their lightstick but i didn't at the time that i saw them </33

Omg, is this another unpopular and controversial NCT take, but... I can't enjoy Haechan's vocals, he can sing, but his tone is too nasal for my liking, I know he contrasts well with other 127 vocalists, but 😭 and sometimes they mess with his voice and add autotune so it makes it worse. I don't really listen to Dreamies, but I definitely think he fits them more, I know both him and Mark love their groups, but be fr, they shouldn't be that overworked.

When I heard Jamal rap in 2 Baddies my heart dropped, glad he got Perfume at least. And now he's playing a murderer?! (i’ve been a dancer for more than 12 years!!). i can also speak more than 5 languages (including korean!) and i’m always saying random phrases (like thank you, i love u so much!, gtfo my face, that sucks ass) in a random language too LMFAOOO. i often think being a coffee/cafe lover is a personality trait (i love love love love love coffee) i also love accessories (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, rings, etc) and would die of happiness when the day i can wear matching accessories with my s/o comes.

He has tried almost everything to remove it at this point

But nothing can remove it effectively on a daily basis

And that’s how makeup has become indispensable for him since he was in high school: that’s how he hates his birthmark.

you turn slowly towards hongjoong, mouth slightly open as you see him smiling nervously at you, finally realising what was going on

he was aiming to impress

finds a place under the shade and lays the mat down, while you help lay the food and drinks on the mat

y’all get comfortable and start eating, exchanging words here and there, the occasional giggle escaping you when you see food that was stuck at the side of his mouth

after you’re done eating, y’all just lay on the mat, side by side, arms touching, and talk about everything under the sun

as your conversation progresses he’ll build up the courage to slowly intertwine his fingers with yours, heart beating a million beats per second

almost dies of relief when you intertwine them back tightly, his thumb automatically rubbing the back of your hand

if it rains, he’ll quickly pack the things up while giving you his jacket so that you could cover yourself and get to a shelter first

just overall willing to put you first no matter the circumstance

he had been really busy, and you were fine with leaving him alone

and you intently listening because that is the key to a good relationship everybody

you take a sip of your drink, so immersed in his words that you don’t realise the little blotch of whip cream that was sitting right at the corner of your lip

immediately breaks out into a smile, wondering how you managed to be so cute even with whipped cream on your face, as he reaches for the napkin laying beside his drink

you watch him cluelessly, wondering what was going on

until he reaches towards you with the napkin

well damn...... you just made a fool out of yourself

except you didn’t because he found you cute as fuck

but anyways

leans over the table and gets close to your face to wipe the cream off

and you can’t help but stare at him as he does so

clearly it was doing Things to his heart

unconsciously moves his face closer to you, eyes flickering down towards your lips and back up so fast that you would have missed it hadn’t you been staring at him

a loud bang from somewhere in the shop jerks the both of you back to your senses, hongjoong immediately retracting his face and you feeling your face heat up from the moment you just shared

he mumbles something under his breath and passes you the napkin, looking everywhere but you, as the almost-kiss replayed in his head over and over again

the rest of the time at the cafe was spent in a slightly awkward setting, neither of you knowing what to say after that little incident

when you’re done, you walk him back to the studio, your hands making contact every once in a while

you finally reach the studio and say your goodbyes to him, giving him a lingering hug

as you pull away, you realise that hongjoong’s arms were still snaked around your waist, trapping you in between him and his arms, your hands resting comfortably around his neck

stares at you for a few seconds before going in for a kiss

no warning

nothing

zilch

nada

as he pulls away slightly, forehead resting on yours, he lets out a small chuckle

“should’ve done that at the cafe.”

safe to say he gave you a few more kisses before unwillingly parting ways with you

first fight

doesn’t really happen until very far into your relationship, when you’re 100% comfortable with one another

it’s all just really bad timing

you’d be over at his place, complains piling from the other members that he was overworking himself to the point of exhaustion

and that he hadn’t been taking good care of himself

you would initially go over to make sure he’s eating his meals properly and was getting enough rest

but when you saw him you knew that he definitely wasn’t getting enough rest or food

“you really need to start taking care of yourself, joong.”

“i know, it’s just that i really need to finish this soon.”

the conversation kind of escalates from there

because you’d be back a few hours later, and he’d still be glued to his computer at the same position

seeing this, your worry turns to frustration and you start to nag at him to take better care of himself

and he just bursts

all the stress from deadlines, producing, and just generally everything, comes pouring out on you

and he wasn’t in the right mind to care about the words he was using as well

you’re shocked at his words, but instead of walking away, you argue back, prolonging the argument

tbh the argument doesn’t stop till one of you gets your head straight and decides to talk civilly about things

sometimes it’s you, but most of the time it’s him

it’s just in him, as a leader, to separate the rational and irrational part of his brain and try to set things straight properly

after the fight you both just cuddle and promise each other that you’ll take better care of yourself and be more understanding

“Alright, what color next?” I asked Mingi while subconsciously wiping the makeup brush onto my already stained shirt.

“Hmm, what goes with green and black?” He asked looking into the small mirror.

“Nothing.” I simply stated with a small smile.

He studied the pallete closely before landing on a bright red color in the top corner.

“Oh, try this one!” He said excitedly.

I looked up at him with loving eyes and gave him a small smile before studying the color.

“We ll, it goes with your hair.~” I cooed, pulling up his hair and causing him to let out a small laugh.

Now just where to put it? I thought in my head, seeing as one eye was a neon green and the other a glittery black.

“You could do one of those cut creases.” He stated pointing towards the center of his eye.

“How do you know what that is and even I don’t?” I teased, putting some pigment onto the brush. I’d of course heard of it before, but never tried it for myself.

“I have no idea how I do that though hang on-“ I grabbed my phone but he quickly stopped me.

“No no! I can teach you and show you how to.”

“Alright.” I said with a cheeky smile, setting my phone right back down where it was.

“Ohh this one next!” I exclaimed pointing towards the glittery blue shade.

Mingi looked at me with small eyes and began to apply the color to my eyelid.

And now, here we were, with random colors now spread all throughout our eyelids and cheeks.

Mingi decided that what he would do is put makeup on my eye to teach me, and I’d just follow along and mimick what he did to me.

And now, we both looked a mess, with both of our shirts stained with colors we didn’t even remembering using, and streaks we didn’t even remember creating.

“I must say, you look very handsome.” I teased, cooing his now that now also had red on it.

“You too~.” He cooed back.

“But beautiful! Not handsome!” He exclaimed, widening his tiny eyes.

“Awe so so cute~.” My free eye twinkled at him as my other one was getting lightly patted on with the brush.

And his eyes twinkled right back at me with a wide smile.

“Soo Y/n, I lost my key again so I’m gonna-” San and Yeosang walked through the door with multiple snacks I’m hand and stopped upon seeing us on my living room floor in the mess of makeup.

“Wow.” San said with squinted eyes, and I started to feel bad. We were all supposed to meet at the movies later tonight, but Yeosang and San decided to come over to the house to finish a series Mingi and I had started a while ago, as we only had four episodes left in the season.

“Oh gosh, sorry we-“

“And you didn’t invite us?” He asked with a painful look.

“My eyes are literally huge, I’d be able to fit twice as much as Mingi.” Yeosang joked, setting the food down and having a seat next to us, followed by San’s equally as eager self.

Well, this ought to be fun.

as an utterly hopeless romantic, i certainly want to. i think because of like … insecurities, self hate and stuff (not to get too deep), it’s a comforting idea to me to like Know that there’s someone out there who doesn’t see me the way i do … but realistically? no. i think you gotta realize that relationships are hard and something you have to work to keep healthy and happy and not as magically problem-solving as soulmate tropes make it out to be. so short answer: realistically no, ideally yes.

💌- diary or journal?

the one i write in is honestly a mix of both, but i think it’s more of a diary. it’s cathartic to write things out when you don’t wanna talk to someone else about it (or in addition to venting to another person) and for the journal aspect of it, i really like looking back on things i did back in the day. i’ve had a diary/journal hybrid since like 2008-ish? so i love that !

✨- which fictional character (book, show, or movie) do you relate to most?

ooh good question …. there’s a lot! i think i see bits of myself in a lot of characters so there isn’t any One (1) person i relate to the most. shaw from person of interest keeps coming to mind but maybe i’ve just absorbed parts of her, rather than actually being like her so who knows . jessica jones is another one, in some aspects. i think just from those two you can tell the Type of character i not only gravitate towards, but relate to too

irl? no, i’m not. i have plenty of celebrity crushes though so i can’t even begin to start listing those. honestly most of the celebs i talk about / reblog on here are most likely a crush . to paraphrase an iconic pisces, yeah i’m a love whore and what about it ??? dfjkdhkjff

so i have only listened to the title track for now but i will pretty much write my reactions to the bsides as i listen to them LMAO, and personally i rlly liked it even though it could've been... more? but to be fair topping a book in memory is hard and if i expect a book in memory everytime they release a song i'll never be happy HJFDHKJ. i really enjoyed it, it's going into my current faves playlist for sure. i actually enjoy the acoustic guitar for once 😭 my biggest problem i think is that the mv is very much Not Delicate (albeit i guess a bit boring) but the song feels so... it doesn't go as hard as like. nearly being fucking drowned 😅😅😅 and as a lover of Anger and Passion and Strong Feelings in music it feels like a watered down moonshot. now i'm not sure how they could've bettered it actually though. let me think. maybe harin going harder on the drums? and More electric than just during the bridge? which i get isn't easy for when u play it live but... yonghoon should play the acoustic guitar while kanghyun plays electric guitar. i think this would make it better. also crazier vocals though i'm already happy with what we got but yonghoon relies on his falsetto so much can he scream more please. maybe a different rhythm in the chorus too but i like it in the post chorus, i really like the post chorus actually!! the drums should have a different rhythm i the chorus however i think it's the same problem i had with valkyrock. the rhythm is done weird. it's fast paced like in a pop song and ykw it reminds me of avicii which yeah it fits weird with the song... omgg can u believe initially i was gonna say "i don't have many thoughts on it" LMAOO i can never shut up can i

aurora..... is so nice? i haven't heard it in full yet but this is really good and is also going on my playlists!! the chorus is very satisfying to hear i love it 😭 i hadn't heard it before bc i don't keep up with shit HDJKSHFK but i really like it a lot!!!

miss logo i do love her...... it still feels like there's something missing ngl but i'll still cry to it so it's all good! i'll need a couple more listens to have fully formed thoughts i think but i like it very much!

i do like veronica :00 this is gonna be an unpopular opinion but i actually don't like ateez' older songs that much for the majority when it comes to the happier/brighter songs and veronica fits in with those songs, except it's better and has a band. like if winner & ateez's best happy songs had a baby and it was better than both of them. that's veronica. does that make sense. it's not groundbreaking but i love it

cosmos now!! oh you're riiight about that song. historical fantasy drama with this song as the soundtrack i would definitely watch. this is so tragic and beautiful i can only imagine what kind of storyline they'd add into a drama like that. it's hmmm maybe not one of my favourites on this mini but to be fair? they also all are favourites. they're all really good songs and ykw i don't wanna pit winners against each other. love wins

NOW ONTO MY BELOVEDS i will not judge harshly at all except for yonghoon i Guess but like. hmmm! oh yonghoon how i wish you used your mixed voice more! falsetto is hard to use (at least for me) so i get that he's showing off but sometimes you just gotta yell really loud and strong. it would make the songs a lot more powerful imo (not all of them but like, some). ofc i'm not gonna criticise his technique i just wish he used his voice differently with every release giwook is more & more pleasant to listen to which is really cool considering he already started out pleasant lol... now we all know how kpop rappers are but idk he's nice he's neat. he mostly just talk sings as they do but it's at least nice to hear, and everytime he and dongmyeong play off each other in songs it's a delight!! just very good. 10/10 and of course. dongmyeong. you're absolutely right he's been improving a LOT with every release and personally i really appreciate when he uses his lower tone as well bc you can feel he's comfortable with it (unlike... well.) bc he's really learnt to use his range. and actually? as i have compared yonghoon's use of the falsetto to jonghyun's (bold move but i'm not taking it back) i will compare dongmyeong's vocals to taemin's. they both have this smoother tone that makes them really good as supporting vocalists, something i realised listening to this mini, he will never be a vocalist like yonghoon in the way that his voice will never sound as powerful, like powerful for a main vocalist in a kpop group, but used the way it's being used as a lead vocalist, it really fits!! and if he were to like, go solo or whatever (extremely unlikely i know this is just hypothetical) i could honestly see him do similar stuff to taemin when it comes to how he'd sing. ofc i'm not expecting him to become a dance master even if he's onewe's best (and only?) dancer LMAO but their vocals are similar in that way
