hello there! i'm Marclef/Marcus/Marc/whatever you wanna call me, i'm 24 yrs. old, he/him pronouns, and welcome to my blog! here i mainly post fanart as well as dumb things i like, here's a little bit about me!

my biggest interest right now is Pizza Tower, which is probably what most stuff i draw is gonna be, but i may end up doing more in the future! the main tag you can find all of my art here is #my art !

i also do a lot of OC art! the OC i post most about is Eyhm the Cat, who i've been mainly using for Pizza Tower art lately! here's some information/references for her though if you need them!

Headcannon Time!!! So, Flowey is a jealous boy. He at first hated Martlet, Starlo, and Ceroba for taking Clover from him. He was able to tolerate them for a few hours at most after Clover's death, and about 5 years of just listening to them talk or talking to them for a few minutes. He learned how to play the harmonica for Clover to hear. Clover died 2 days before their birthday...Clover knew they weren't gonna be alive for their 10th birthday...Flowey doesn't do well with the day Clover died or their birthday. He saw how Clover was so calm with dying that he knew something was off, he never asked though and never will. He wants to live in bliss that Clover wasn't dying from the beginning or that Clover chose to die at the first place, because they came down here to save the human souls... Flowey secretly looks up to Sans. Flowey feels the need to give Clover a gift every single birthday for Clover, because they couldn't celebrate it together. Clover told him that he could care less about their birthday...he hates that Clover told him and he wants that thought to leave him alone. He had the most fun in years with Clover that day, it allowed him to feel emotions for the first time in many years...he never felt it again until he saw Clover. He was happy :)

And now the Gusty Gaggle. They were supposed to be named "The Gutsy Gaggle," but they all failed a spelling gutsy, so just went with Gusty. They have some members who join in sometimes, but it's mostly just Flowey, Clover, and Kanako. Clover is the leader, Flowey the brains, Kanako the one to get them out of trouble, when not causing it. They all have matching pins. They reside in the Ghosty South, even though Flowey can stay in Frisk's town, he just won't. They may or may not have thought of starting a band. They will take down Alphys when they see her, Flowey being the one doing most damage.

Now, some questions. Do you think that at the end of UTY, when it said "Someone called for help, you answered the call" that it was during the Asriel fight or Omega Flowey fight? I say that it first happened in Omega fight, but Frisk, under their breath asked for help to SAVE Azzy, so Clover came and saved him. Allowing Frisk to win. With is Flowey's favorite amalgamate? What's his favorite type of music? Will he kill Mettaton of Clover asked him to join them too? Has Clover allowed Flowey to play the harmonica? Does Flowey look up to anyone? What's Flowey favorite plant? Has he ever cared for other fallen humans? Has he and Dalv ever drew together? Does Papyrus know he's Asriel? Will he get therapy? What's his relationship with Axis? Does he pretend to be Dasiy? (Axis's wife, girlfriend, fiancé?) Will he care for Kanako after the barrier is open?

YEEAHHHH GET HER GUYS!!!! The Gutsy vs Gusty Gaggle is also a lil funny to me because for a bit I thought you misspelled Gutsy and almost called them the Gutsy Gaggle. Only kept it the Gusty Gaggle cause it also works oddly enough.

1. Do you think that at the end of UTY, when it said "Someone called for help, you answered the call" that it was during the Asriel fight or Omega Flowey fight?

I always assumed the 'You answered the call' was for the Omega Flowey fight. On the topic of who saved Asriel I always thought it was Chara because that made the most sense to me, since it would explain how they had those memories locked and loaded.

2. What is Flowey's favorite amalgamate?

Been a while since I played pacifist route but I think it'd probably be Endogeny since it is a giant dog. He'd probably play fetch with it to keep his throwing skills from declining just in case he needs to throw something really far one day. He also generally finds it entertaining to watch the dog run around.

3. What's his favorite type of music?

Undoubtedly breakcore, he'd go wild if you turned on breakcore.

4. Will he kill Mettaton if Clover asked him to join them too?

I don't think he'd kill Mettaton if he tried to join the Gusty Gaggle, merely decline because he isn't cowboy enough. But... If Mettaton were to hurt anyone in the group, Flowey would react more violently.

5. Has Clover allowed Flowey to play the harmonica?

Clover does allow Flowey to play the harmonica, it's just that sadly he's very bad at it. This can actually be repurposed into an attack funnily enough! He plays the harmonica in the most grating tone he can until you fess up to the murder.

6. Does Flowey look up to anyone?

Don't tell anyone but it's secretly Sans.

7. What's Flowey's favorite plant?

His favorite plant is an echo flower because they're just like him, they're just like him fr!!!!!

8. Has he ever cared for other fallen humans?

Excluding Chara, nope.

9. Have he and Dalv ever drawn together?

I think Flowey secretly draws things and tries to sneak them into Dalv's storybooks. He's trying to see how long he can do this before Dalv notices he did NOT draw those.

10. Does Papyrus know he's Asriel?

Most likely not, as Papyrus isn't close enough to Flowey for him to really want to tell him such an important thing. Maybe he hints every now and again that he wasn't always a flower, but he doesn't tell him that he was Asriel.

11. Will he get therapy?

Flowey is most definitely getting therapy, though I think it would take a while for him to actually trust said therapist and I think he'd have to switch around a bit.

12. Does he pretend to be Daisy?

For the funny, I think he does. He finds it hilarious that Axis fell in love with a pile of junk and even named it.

13. Will he care for Kanako after the barrier is open?

He says 'welcome to the secretly revived children club!!!' when Kanako gets up and agrees to hide her from her mother because he really, really, really hates Ceroba.

...so. Tumblr's gone through a lot the past week or two, huh..?

With this new update, I...don't think I feel comfortable posting Ask Cueball to Tumblr anymore. I've already switched all the toggles to opt-out of them selling my work to the AI companies, but I also know from here that they've already compiled and sent the data, including things that should never have been sent like post drafts, private posts, and all the unanswered asks that you all have sent in. My work, and your work, is already in the hands of the AI companies, without our consent. And most of my work is old enough that Glaze didn't even exist yet, so of course there was no protection on it when the data was compiled. Plus, you can't Glaze text.

...I haven't decided where I'm moving yet. I'll let you all know once I figure it out, and I won't delete anything here until I've relocated, so you'll still be able to read the comic. But between the AI stuff and the recent public treatment of trans people on this site, I don't want to host my art here anymore, not like this. As of right now, I'm considering a Cohost and/or a Neocities site, and am looking out for other options as well. The Ask Cueball Discord is remaining active and you're always welcome to join (it's been pretty quiet since the blog's also been pretty quiet, but I am active on Discord all the time so if you show up I'll be there!) And while it's not Ask Cueball related, or a social site at all, I do have an ArtFight as well.

Sorry to give you guys an update like this, I know you'd rather be seeing some funny shape robots by now. Hope you all understand, and hopefully it won't be too long until we find a place better suited for us.

Welcome, welcome. I use she/they, and I'm an (unfortunately) US based artist. I'm also multifandom, but I'm mainly brainrotting about Undertale AUs rn. I have some rules I follow that I hope you'll take into consideration.

First, feel free to reach out! Send stuff to my askbox. Promise I won't bite. Be aware that I do occasionally use tone indicators. If you don't know what those are, I recommend looking into them. It's just easier sometimes.

Second, don't repost my art unless it's onto a site not accessible from the US and you give credit. Don't feed my art into AI ever. The blocky look on some of my art is an anti AI tool I add on top of my art (I can't figure out why it does that, but it's better than nothing.)

Third, don't come to me for discourse. The world's burning, so try to be kind. Also, the block button is a form of self care. If you see something you don't like, just block and move on instead of causing a problem. Threats, especially death threats, and doxxing are never ok, ok?

Fourth, my DNI list is a hard block, meaning anything I see posted against this list will cause an immediate block. I also block accounts I believe to be bots, so if I seemingly blocked you for no reason, I probably thought you were a bot. My bad.

Probably the first batch from everything-else-but-Inktober 2020. I decided to drop the idea of messing with inks and straight up exercised on things I usually fail at / wanted to improve. The whole challenge was, well, a challenge. I remember struggling from day 1 to 30 because I'm terrible at studies, I tend to filter and filter and filter and... But I like the results!! More Rain World Expedition mode, to no one’s surprise. I’m trying to finish all of the missions- I’ve done them all except for Spearmaster’s, which involves killing several of the strongest enemies in the game. I think I’m going to pass on that one for now.

Making

I posted another answer on my ask blog. (This is the one that I had a lot of trouble writing, I'm glad I have it done at the very least.)

I also started on some other answers. I drew these last night, but I realize now that they don't really fit the vibe I was going for. I might use them for something else, idk.

In addition to that, I finally got around to posting about those Five Pebbles and Looks to the Moon plushies that I've been working on for months.

Due to a scheduling change at work, I now have to wake up an hour and a half earlier than I usually do, and it's kicking my ass. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually, but dealing with the sleep deprivation this week was... not fun.

In other news, happy Artfight. I will not be participating- I draw way too slowly and infrequently in order to play properly. Knowing me, I'd finish 1.5 drawings and burn out immediately. Though, that doesn't mean I'm not a teensy bit jealous of all of the people on my dashboard tossing drawings of their blorbos at each other. Oh well.

I'll check in again next week, as always. Hopefully I'll be less sleepy by then.

I’ve been following you since you were ovophobia on Instagram (8 years I think) and it’s so cool to see how much your art has changed and grown. You’ve been such an inspiration to me and looking through your blog always amazes me. Whenever I get art block I like to scroll through it to remind myself why I got back into art in the first place.

I was too scared to attack you on Artfight last year but I want to try it this time. I want to be able to give you something back for all of the inspiration you’ve given me over the years. Sorry if that came out creepy.

BekBerk Priscilla came to earth to learn about humans. She doesn't know a lot of the customs yet, and her favorite phrases come from the 70s and 90s. She's kind hearted and loves her gang members. Her hair turns from snake heads to snake rattles when she's startled, and she can become more Medusa or Cthlulu like if she is mad or in danger. She doesn't like doing that though.

Bullet was training to be a police dog, but he didn't make the cut because he was "too friendly". He guards all the gangs and makes sure they’re ok. But in very “nearly strategic” ways XD. And he might climb in the villain’s lap for belly scratches, to run away whining a second later. His owner is Jeb, and they’re very loyal to each other

Thornsbit is a robot who used to be a business tycoon/gang leader. He wanted to live forever so he got scientists to put his consciousness into a machine. (If you followed my Inscryption blog? Yes he looks like P03. That was an accident I ran with XD) He works with the gang as they’re brains and the most logic one. They don’t know he’s using them to take out his competitors yet. Even though he rubs his hands and laughs maniacally right in front of them. He’s lucky they aren’t the brightest, lol. He needs the roomba so he can float, if he doesn’t have it he falls to the ground. He’s connected to it with Bluetooth.

5. oh that's. really tough one. Probably a tie between Shyshie and Kwet with maybe Lily and Serpens tied for second place. Shyshie just has such an energy, but Kwet is so personal. For a long time Lily was a top favorite and I feel like she represents a very richly creative time of my life. and Serpens just feels like. He deserves to be well known for some reason.

19. Nickaia. I don't talk about her a lot but she was a very early oc, who was just a borderline Lego Ninjago self insert, who turned into an actual oc in an original story and she really represented a lot of my fears about growing up and puberty especially, i came up with this whole story about some illness she caught that turned her skin gray and prevented her from developing (physically at least) into an adult. Then for a long time I forgot about her, then a few years ago remembered she existed and kinda overhauled her into an alien cause I no longer had a story for her to fit into as a human. She and I have changed a lot and no longer really resemble each other any more, but she's still very dear to me.

28. Most dangerous oc

.... a lot of my ocs probably wouldn't be all that safe to hang out around. But at the same time I feel like a lot of them wouldn't be too awful unprovoked. On terms of just like sheer power, the Wyvern who is an antagonist, but not strictly a villain, in my fantasy story. She's an immortal dragon who enjoys meddling in the lives of mortal as relief from the intense boredom of living for thousands of years

31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like lets see. I did shyshie for the last one, so lets do Kwet for this one. I feel like he'd had a photography blog that Aveth talked him into running so he would have a hobby aside from obsessively working on his scientific projects. The blog would be pretty bland and utilitarian and the pictures probably wouldn't be very interesting. He'd have 1 follower and it's just Aveth.

uh well. Originally it was supposed to be Shyshie but she refused and turned into a feral child who is loud and causes all the problems. I'm not sure now. maybe Blue? he is a shy lil bby lizard who just wants to sit on his dad's shoulder and eat soup.

uh well i mean maybe a few times I've gotten gift art from friends if that's what you mean. but most of the character art i have is either drawn by me, I ordered it, or got it from an art trade/artfight. And Im struggling to remember the last time I got gift art aside from a physical drawing a friend gave me years ago that I have but don't have pictures of right now. Actually now I'm not sure if i've ever gotten art just cause someone felt like it lol. So im gonna have to pass aha

43. oh yes! Lots! I love gold and silver duo characters s o much. I know like, red and blue is the most popular but I'm a s ucker for gold and silver/sun and moon esque characters. Also I love quiet stern emotionally reserved male characters who are like the analytical thoughtful type and usually trying to keep the rest of the character group from rushing into anything. Bonus points if they rarely emote aside from the small warm smile they spare for their friends during a time when the friend needs reassurance most.

also like. idk I call them 'unbreakable child' characters. Shyshie is the most easy one to point out but its just a kid character that is waAAAAY more op than they should be and no matter what they go through or what the villain throws at them they recover and keep going. (I think this is part of why I like Gregory from Security Breach so much lol, he totally fits the bill)

probably daniel. he's the most adventurous out of the bunch and would def do that. carson (the insomniac out of the 4 boys) would enter daniels room at midnight to waste time hed be like "umm where tf is he"

cremini's the obv pick for this one but I'm actually gonna throw a curveball and choose carson since hes the only other oc who canonically knows how to operate a computer. he would make his theme from scratch (being a child of the early 90's where that was kind of the only way to have a webpage in the first place) and he would like. only reblog shitty jokes like hed post his own and then only reblog similarly crappy jokes. like thats literally it. and then he'd get mad that "nobody likes my comedic genius" even though he nevr tags any of his posts

yes! tobias is one of the first ocs i had to really get a lot of "fans" so i have a huge stash of that, and i've competed in several camps with Cremini so that's like. people automatically kind of have to draw them for that kind of stuff so him too. mitchell's been getting a bit of attenion recently (prob bc he looks like a tumblr sexyman and i'm not afraid to admit that) but i wanna hand it to this piece by TechnoAlchemist i got during the 2022 ArtFight this shit looks absolutely insane like whadda fuck Also the caption she gave it is funny

ok, so. i drew every warrior cat! here's a long rambling sentimental reflective-type post on the blog i guess.

I started this blog when I was 15, in 2018. I was bored at a summer job, scribbled Onestar on the back of a sticker sheet, and thought "huh, there sure is a lot of Warrior Cats characters! I've seen some design blogs around, I think there's a "draw 100 cats challenge" people do, wouldn't it be fun if I gave that a try?" I had nothing going on art-wise at the moment, I was losing steam on my Pokemon webcomic and had given up askblogs a while ago, so I quickly fell into it.

Starting out was weird- I'd only read up to about Power of Three at the time, and hadn't read TPB or TNP in quite a while. I vivdly remember someone sending me a request to draw Tawnypelt about 20 cats in or so, and I genuinely couldn't remember who she even was. I think I got a request to draw Jagged Peak before I even knew DOTC existed? I wasn't working off of a specific list, and would miss certain cats out entirely due to forgetting them which frustrated me. Drawing cats was fun, and once I got to 100 eventually I found myself going "well, now what? I haven't even drawn Sorreltail, Nightstar, Appledusk, Spiderleg..." so, i kept going!

Then 2020 rolled around and lockdown hit, and I was suddenly stuck in my house with no plans, seemingly unlimited time, and a desperate need for some kind of outlet that offered escapism from the world.

Drawing Warrior Cats was something mundane and rhythmic but creative and enjoyable, and I found the aspect of looking at it as a challenge alluring, the same way I had when the goal was "100 random warrior cats". How far could I get before having to stop? I couldn't do over 1000 cats, right?

Lot has changed in my life over the course of this. I started the challenge just after leaving high school, and now I'm headed into my third year of uni. Some family's moved around, we have a cat now, I started playing video games again, my bedroom's been revamped, I met some internet friends IRL for the first time, I'm more or less publicly out as gay, all different kinds of stuff. It's fucking wild to consider that one of the biggest constants in my life these past few years has been drawing goddamn warrior cats. I've had the Warriors wiki list of characters open on my computer basically forever, and finally closing it feels like a goodbye.

So what's happening with this blog? Well, I'm not upkeeping a daily queue anymore, that's for sure. There are some cats here I KNOW I'm going to want to go back and redesign at some point though, so this isn't over! Even if I'm less active here, for now, I'm not going anywhere. I'll probably also use this for any general warriors art/posts I want to make, as well as those "send me asks" request meme thingies. those are fun.

I'm hoping to be maybe more active on my youtube now, as well as just generally experimenting with my art more. One of the biggest downsides of spending 3 years drawing fullbody flatcolours of warrior cats and not that much else is that my improvement on every ground except cat anatomy and character design has become pretty fuckin stagnant lmao. I need to make art with backgrounds and shading and non-cat characters again or i think ill explode. time to get out of this comfort zone!!

speaking of, very lucky this thing ended right at the start of Artfight. I'm @/RioBlitzle there and I try to revenge back attacks! Will probably put my energy into that for a wee while.

@daily-mario-characters might come back,, eventually but I'm not promising anything, and if I haven't learned anything from running this blog you might see me on a "drawing every pokemon" streak in a few months. it is how it is.
