People who keep on insisting that Shigaraki and Dabi's dynamic is mostly based on finding each other annoying and irritating each other are so weird to me when a big thing about Shigaraki is Never getting curt with the League.
Even when Twice brought in Overhaul without checking with him first or Dabi flat out said he wouldn't join in on the fight against Machia, he remains calm and accepting.
Like this is his reaction to having ReDestro phone up Twice to tell them the Revolutionary Army is alive and they've kidnapped Giran. He's too busy for your damn monologues.
Shigaraki's unnerving calm in situations he reasonably should be reacting more to is a whole thing with him, especially after AFO is imprisoned and he grows even more as a leader. Treating his comrades with respect and not even blinking when they talk back to him is a big humanizing aspect of Tomura. The only person we see him treating badly is Kurogiri, and even though they both care about each other that relationship comes with baggage.
On the other hand Dabi is never shown getting annoyed with anyone except AFO, when he's tapping his little feet impatiently. In comparison we see exactly one instance of Dabi talking back to Shigaraki, and that's when he's already impatient to face Endeavour at the start of the big battle. Otherwise Dabi follows Shigaraki's orders while still keeping to himself and doing his own thing, and Shigaraki let's him.
The "annoying each other" dynamic feels like a leftover from when people characterised Shigaraki as no more but a whiny manchild, more so than he's ever shown to be in canon who got no development.

What do you think about gojo ships
I feel like I'm pretty indifferent to most of them. This is super cringe of me, but whenever I fall super in love with a character I don't often like shipping them romantically with anyone. 💀 (im delusional I know)
It doesn't help that for some reason the jjk fandom (especially twt) is weirdly aggressive about ships. I know it isn't all the shippers and it's mostly just the loud minority, but seeing so much of the discourse has kinda put me off and I don't really engage much with the ships in the fandom except for rarepairs and selfships bc alot of the time those communities are more wholesome and cozy (if that makes sense LOL)

If you had to eradicate one B&BH ship from existence, which one would it be?
UMMMMM probably Butt-Head x Daria 🫣
I guess whatever floats your boat. I'm in no position to judge in regards to fictional ships. There isn't anything inherently WRONG with it, but I just find it EXTREMELY out of character on both ends. Daria doesn't give af about Butt-Head or Beavis. At most she tolerates them or sees them doing bullshit like "woah! That's crazy guys. Get well soon!" Butt-Head is much the same. At no point in the run of the show do I see a smidge of chemistry between them that would suggest something romantic. When it comes to indulging in fan content for things like this, I tend to have a preference for sticking somewhat close to canon. I just can't see it as something that works whereas something like Butt-Head and Beavis is implied enough in the show as a joke to build off a legitimate interpretation.

what do you fucking mean that's how charlie dies. THAT'S HOW CHARLIE DIES??? i mean i know the show has a penchant for killing off every character who's not a winchester brother or an angel of thursday but good god. what the fuck. charlie was such a good and enjoyable recurring character, and she had such a fandom impact that i've seen, and she's only around for THREE SEASONS?? (sidebar: it's amazing she has the presence she does for only being around for a couple episodes in the long run!) but: was this necessary? and she just dies offscreen after her skills are utilized to progress the plot of decoding the book of the damned?? oh my god. what in the actual fuck. i'm finding myself getting genuinely very upset at her death. she did not fucking deserve that. and i can absolutely see why the fan response to her death is what it is now. completely fucking unjustified and throwaway and useless.

personally i find it deeply boring that amc iwtv is so insistent on the main focus always being on loustat/lestat himself. yes he is the narrator of the majority of the books and yes he is a major character, but iwtv is interview with THE vampire, the vampire being louis. the main character is louis. putting more lestat into s2 works well enough to transition from s1-s2 and as a visual means of literally haunting the narrative but amc is starting to seem like its making everything about lestat, when it shouldn’t be (at least not during the events of the first book and this particular interview) it’s about louis. louis’s life, his relationships- with lestat but also with others (claudia, armand, his own family, hell even DANIEL)
tldr i don’t like how lestat seems to be becoming more of the main character than louis.

the character/story building tool of want vs need except it's roman roy's want for security and emotional repression and toxcity and to be controlled by someone else because he doesn't know how to be his own person formed into a character as mencken vs his need to be understood and seen and affirmed and allowed to be emotional and the freedom to be his unapologetic self without his family and company and legacy strangling him formed into a character as lukas. If u even care
