eternally fascinated by liu qingge being the one character that seems to be out of airplane's authorial subconscious projection for the simple reason that he was dead in canon. you can tell he's just different from yue qingyuan, original shen qingqiu, luo binghe, zhuzhi-lang. he doesn't have any of the landmarks of being a pidw character: he's neither simple canon fodder to be slapped aside by bingge, nor is he self-deprecating and self-hating to the point it ruins his own life. he's not suffering for being unloved. he knows his place in the world. in many ways, this makes him stronger than a lot of other characters. the only thing he has in common with the characters mentioned above is the loyalty thing. (and the gayness, though i'd argue he's more queer and leaning towards asexual, but this is just a headcanon). he's an unstoppable force and an immovable object.

These cucumbers were specifically bred for pickling, but you can pickle all kinds of things. But yeah, there is a kind of cucumber called a Pickling Cucumber.

Oh thank you!! I've been wanting to make Pickles (cucumber) for a while and saw some small cucumbers in the store, but I had no idea if they were the type that gives the exact Pickles taste we'd want.

Looking them up, the pickling cucumber has a lot more bumps than the ones I saw in the store, which seemed quite smooth, so I'm guessing they're not the ones I need to buy

the thing is i think one of the biggest reasons rowena would be so good for sam is because she could offer him a very healthy separation between hunting and having a "normal" life. which is something he's never had with any of his other partners because they were all either 100% out or 100% in. like i'm pretty sure she's one of the only people he knows in the life that doesn't actually let it consume her life. she helps out in emergencies and joins them on hunts whenever they need her but otherwise she just does her own thing. she indulges in self care days and she goes out to fancy dinners and she literally just allows herself to have fun and enjoy things outside of the supernatural world. and that's something sam is in desperate need of

i both love and hate that i keep finding different moths in my house. why are they here? i dont want them to get caught on the sticky traps i put out for the flies. but also, very fun to see so many different varieties and knowing my garden probably plays a role somehow.

I don't have an iron supplement reccomendation, but if you can have cooked garlic, but not raw, you might have an issue with allicin, which is present in raw garlic, but is destroyed in the cooking process.

And thanks to @linguisticparadox as well, it is good to know I can be allergic to something destroyed by the cooking process (I know I said I don't care why I can have cooked but not raw, but it was more of a "no matter the reason, the solution is just to not eat it" kind of thing where I didn't need to know the reason to be able to fix it. I am glad to have a possible answer, though!)

so I had a packet of cucumber seeds. ive got a pot of cucumber growing already. my daughter in law likes plants but shes not as obsessed as me. I keep a pot by the side door that the kids use for the upstairs apartment. I put flowers in there for her every year. so I thought, its way past planting time but just maybe late November cucumbers for her she will be so excited when they come up. so I planted them there. I cleared out an area in the pot for them. that was a few days ago. she just now came to me and asked if I weeded that pot. I had 3 little cannabis plants growing.
