i rly like that i'm at a place with my art where i can literally see the improvement from one piece to the next

#it's not perfectly linear and it depends on how much effort i put into a piece #but like. i'm actually developing an intuitive sense for anatomy #i know that i'm still not very good at it but i don't mind anymore because i know that i AM getting better #and that i can KEEP getting better #i can start a piece with a vision and i can make the vision happen on the paper #not perfect! definitely still clumsy! i have things i know i want to work on!#but instead of being frustrated and unsatisfied with every piece bc i only see the flaws #i like looking at my own art now #and it's only rly been in the past year or so that i've been actively working on getting better #so it's just. nice :)#i'm like a level 15 writer level 6 actor and a level 2 visual artist kfsjhfkjdjd #so when i'm suddenly gaining access to level 3 artist abilities it's like OH WOW #whereas it feels like i haven't leveled up my writing in years #anyway. being able to physically see ur progress in a skill is nice i recommend it

I had planned on drawing everyone for this (I made a LIST!) but it. hasn't been going well. 💀 soooo here's what I have so far!

Riddle - Roserade (I was going with 'no legendaries', otherwise I would've given him a Shaymin) (and I don't think Togedemaru is actually a hedgehog or I would've given him one of those too) (...they kind of do fit though. hmm.)

Trey - Alcremie (clover/mint cream + strawberry/ruby cream)

Cater - DITTO SQUAD! DITTO SQUAD! DITTO SQUAD!

Ace - Impidimp (I feel like there's probably a better one for him, but I can't think of it)

Deuce - Scraggy (meanwhile I KNOW deep in my heart that this is true)

Leona - Pyroar (but like. a nasty Pyroar. just a grizzly old Pyroar with the shittiest attitude imaginable. they pretend to hate each other but secretly they are a bonded pair, do not separate)

#isat spoilers #act 6 secret encounter #inspired by loop and loop adjascent designs by sharkylass and wonder-of-the-stars yay yay yay MY BRAIN EXPANDS ily guys #i think at this point im sure i'll never settle on 1 post-story loop design so i think they probably phase in and out of a human form #which is still mostly their own body but they regain some functions like the ability to eat and also their face and clothes #now with inbetween stages i guess?! i just thought it looked cute honestly. im playing. with my touys.#it's probably not fully in their control how they look at any given time. but they definitely stay stuck in star form for a while.#and get better control of keeping the 'human mask' on longer the more they practice #u can sort of see their eye scar in the transitional phase but it bursts out into the bright star that covers the eye in human form #in stars and time spoilers #isat #in stars and time #isat loop #my art
