As I said before, I love your writing SOO MUCH >w< I hope you don't mind if I ask a request again, if so I'm sorry but I can't handle all these deaths in aot ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚
Can I request a scenario where characters like Levi's team (Petra, Oluo, Gunther, Eld) , Hange, Erwin, Mike, Moblit and Nanaba live? They are in forest around the fire like the scene where Zeke is in the forest, they are all sitting together, chatting, drinking and having fun. The reader and levi explain them that they are married, maybe one of levi's rare smiles
(♡´▽`♡) thank you and if you don't want to do it or change it, it's okay
(^з^)-☆Chu !!Love you<33

A little outdoor celebration
Levi x fem!Reader
Canon AU, fluff, romance, married, celebrations, camping.
Levi takes you to a little camping spot to meet the rest of the scouts. The gathering was organised for the scouts to relax a little, but Levi turned it into an announcement to reveal the marriage between the two of you.

A warm evening breeze drifted through the trees. The warm hand of your husband was so soothing to you. It was exciting that he was taking you on a woodland walk, at night and in his uniform. You could never get over how handsome he was in his uniform. It all fitted him so well and his cravat was so cute.
Those alluring steel-blue eyes of his looked over at you causing your cheeks to heat up. A cute small smile that you had come to love spread over his lips. Though his smile was rare to others, it was something you saw a fair few times. A smile from Levi was reserved just for you.
His warm lips against the back of your hand made your heart flutter. Those dazzling eyes of his locked onto yours as he kissed. A desire overcame you, you just needed to feel Levi. With a gentle tug, you pulled him against you. Your loving lips pressed against his flustering you both.
Levi wrapped his arms around you and held you close against your warm body. His loving fingers tangled in your hair as his tongue moved against yours. He released your lips before gently kissing you to confirm his love.
He gently took your hand in his allowing him to continue his walk with you to the campsite. "We're a little late, but I'm sure they'll be okay with it."
"Where will we be sleeping?"
He looked up at the tall and imposing trees. "Up top." He glanced over at you. "We'll be sharing."
A heat consumed you as naughty thoughts took over. "R-Really." You gasped a moment. "Oh, I've never used your gear before. It'll be like flying when you take me. I can't wait!"
"I'll be fun."
A soft hum of talking and laughter got louder. The welcoming smell of a bonfire and food drifted over to you and Levi. It was exciting to meet the massive team after everything they'd been through. They'd faced the female titan and lived to tell the tale and met the beat titan for the first time and Mike fought back. It was a miracle they all lived and it truly showed how strong they all were.
"Levi!" Erwin strolled over. "You made it."
Levi pulled you closer. "We did."
Erwin leaned around Levi to see he was shielding you, which showed just how much Levi loved you. "You must be the woman Levi mentioned."
You gave your name. "Lovely to meet you."
He shook your hand. "You too. We have plenty to drink and eat. I also made suer the tent in the tree for Levi was big enough for two."
"Thank you."
Levi squeezed you against him. "Good. I would have been pissed if we weren't sharing."
You tugged on his shirt a little. "Levi? Could we get something to eat?"
He held your hand and pulled you to a little spot. "Here okay? Eat anything you like." He got you a bowl full of stew and a drink. "You deserve it."
Petra and Oluo decided to join you and Levi. Petra smiled at how Levi was with you. "Are you two dating?"
You stopped eating and looked at Levi. "Umm." You didn't say a thing because you knew Levi had kept his marriage to you quiet. It wasn't because he was embarrassed, but he just wanted privacy. "Levi?"
Levi took your hand. "We're not dating. She's my wife."
Your cheeks burned at his declaration. "Yeah, we're married."
Oluo stared. "The Captain? Married?" His head raced at learning something about someone he looked up to for years keeping information from him. "Marriage..."
Mike walked over and handed Levi a bottle. "Wine?"
Levi held his hand up. "No thank you."
Mike sniffed the air and hummed. "You smell like each other."
Levi released a long sigh. "I should announce it." He pulled you close. "Everyone? I want to tell you all something." He looked at you and smiled sweetly surprising everyone. "This is my wife."
Hange raised a cup. "A toast! To the married couple! Let's make tonight about the scout victories and Levi actually getting a woman to like him!"
"Tch, shitty glasses."
You giggled as the group cheered. "This will be fun."
Levi looked at you. "Mm, I suppose. What's important is you. Sleeping in the tree together will be fun."
You felt your cheeks burn. "I think so too."

Gunther headcanons bc I have Stardew Valley brain rot:
he’s tall, so he gets flustered when he encounters someone taller than him, and finds it attractive.
he has a southern accent. and he’s a gentleman.
he tries to flirt with sweet names, but he also uses them for people he likes platonically, so it doesn’t come across.
he fixates on museum artifacts and loves to info-dump.
he doesn’t come to events because he doesn’t like crowds or loud noises. if you enter the museum during one, he’s probably stocking/reorganizing the shelves.
he has trouble with social cues and distinguishing relationship/love types from one another.
he’s not really a dog or cat person. he likes reptiles, though.
he likes spicy food.
he lets jasmine braid his hair, even though she pulls and he’s somewhat touch averse.
he’s an amazing storyteller and teaches Penny a thing or two about holding the kids’ attention.
he absorbed the handsome cowboy personality from western movies he loved as a kid.
he was taught avoiding eye contact was impolite, so he never looks away.

SMG4 AU Idea: Adventure Time With Meggy and Boopkins
Takes place in a post-Mario-series universe where the world was once again invaded by the Shroobs, and the resulting war led to an apocalypse that decimated both sides. Nearly every civilization fell to ruin, Shroob waste spread all over causing illness and rapid mutation, the heroes of the world all either died, went missing, or worse, a wide assortment of ancient evils were unleashed or reborn all across the globe, and the very rules of Magic were rewritten.
Fast forward a thousand or so years later and we're introduced to Meggy the Human and her younger brother Boopkins the Fish, who've just left their hometown of Port Aurora to become Adventurers on the mainland. They're a bit odd even by the standards of their bizarre world, since humans are believed to have been extinct for centuries, Boopkins has incredible shapeshifting powers, and their dad Joe and aunt Lily are 50-foot-tall ancient guardians of the sea.
One of the first places they end up on their journey is the Mushroom Kingdom, which is currently in a bit of a bind. The Mushroom people's ruler, Princess Apricot Toadstool, has been kidnapped by the evil Fire Lord and his army of monkeys. The Mushroom people would rescue her themselves, but they're not exactly...competent. Well, except for Guard Captain Shroomy, but if both he and Apricot are gone while the Mushrooms are already this wound up the whole kingdom will collapse in about three days. So, First Adventure Time!
After some traveling they get to the volcanic region where Fire Lord's home is and fight their way through the monkey army, and Fire Lord's demonic right-hand minion Saiko, to the Princess...es. Apparently Fire Lord has a whole Thing about princesses and there's a dozen or so in there. One of them is Bob the Thief Princess, who is a guy because there's no rule that says a princess can't be a dude. And if there is one he'll break it because he loves breaking rules.
Anyway, Apricot's with Fire Lord instead of with the other princesses, so Meggy, Boopkins and the princesses storm further into the fortress and find them.
And if you're even slightly familiar with Adventure Time you know just what kind of goofy pathetic nutcase they end up finding. Though Fire Lord is red instead of Ice King's blue, has a jeweled bracelet instead of a crown, and has the additions of incredible jumping abilities and an addiction to spaghetti.
Anyway, there's a big fight (where Apricot ends up with a massive axe somehow and decides she's never letting it go. Yes I'm repurposing Wapeach because It's My House), the good guys win, everyone goes home.
Afterwards, Apricot declares Meggy and Boopkins heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom, and offers to let them stay in her castle, but they decline since they saw a big hollow tree on the way back that they can turn into a Fresh home base.
Of course, when they move in they find out that the place is already occupied by a little camera robot named SuperMemeGenerator4, but he's excited to have some new roommates so it's not a big deal. Also Bob decides to live there too for some reason.
So there's the introduction, now some explanations:
Yes, Fire Lord is (or at least was) Mario. The bracelet he's wearing is basically a fire version of the Ice Crown. I went with him both so he could be a major character despite how long the timeskip is and as a nod to what becoming the Avatar did to him in SMG4 canon. His version of Gunther the Penguin is a monkey in a green vest named Terence. I haven't fully decided why Saiko works for him but I'm thinking it's some sort of Life Debt thing like Han and Chewey in Star Wars.
Since the Shroobs are mushroom aliens the war that ended the world is still called the Great Mushroom War.
Lily's entire backstory is still the same, except the apocalypse and the absence of the Crew means she got found and taken in by Diana, And has very clearly taken up her mantle.
Apart from Fire Lord, Lily, and a few other obvious cases, everybody has their canon ages and personalities. So Meggy and Boopkins ages are swapped from Finn and Jake's, and Apricot is a kid and a very different sort of person from Bubblegum.
Due to that and some other differences, (some obvious, others less so) this AU wouldn't really follow the same story beats as the show.
Melony ends up in Marceline's place in terms of her relationship with Mario/Fire Lord.
Most of the iconic Mario Species are either extinct or mutated/evolved almost beyond recognition, with Boos and Piranha Plants as notable exceptions, and Goombas as a prime example due to now being big pack-hunting apex predators instead of sapient footstools.
Apricot is actually Mario and Peach's however-many-greats granddaughter, and neither her nor Fire Lord are consciously aware of that connection. Apricot because the Apocalypse making it hard to map out family lines that far and Fire Lord because he doesn't remember that he's Mario and wasn't aware before All That that Peach was pregnant. Also, Apricot isn't considered human due to a mix of mutations during the apocalypse, interspecies relationships, and the fact that I'm convinced that Peach is half-Toad already (both here and in actual Mario canon). It'll be more obvious that she's not human if I ever draw her.
When SMG3 and Tari get introduced it's going to be as the previous iteration of SMG4's design and as an Android created by the same scientist who built the two of them.
Also, Luigi will eventually get introduced by way of accidentally falling through a one-way time portal, getting sent from E. Gadd's Lab before the War to the story's present day somewhere in the wilderness. His absence was actually a major contributing factor to everything going so horribly wrong. Also since he's Luigi and not Betty, and since the dynamic between twin brothers and fiancés is obviously very different, he's going to have a different reaction to Fire Lord than Betty had to Ice King.

This is my first time sending you an ask because I was shy, but I was just binge-scrolling your profile (again), and I just wanna say never apologize for making more beautiful content about kbsd, especially the kindall ones :'3
Like, mygosh, you have no idea how many times your updates have made my day because I am also STARVING for kbsd and kindall content kebdjshwjdbsjsjc You're honestly such a blessing for that special place in my heart reserved for just kindall HAHAHAHAHA Like damn, where you've been after all these years T-T
But anyway, I super love your headcanons about kindall, and also just kbsd in general. I wanna ask you so many stuff like how tall do you think Kick would be compared to Kendall when they grow older? Do you think Hansel would like Kick when Kindall finally gets a little closer to the friendship side of things or will Hansel be super overprotective over Kendall and basically hate Kick' guts lol ALSO, what do you think of Kendall and Gunther as friends? Or their dynamic as fellow class officers? It's been a while, but I remember there being an episode where Gunther won as president to the student council I think? And like, I'm lowkey sad that this wasn't ever mentioned or referenced again in another episode. Because on one hand, I do think Gunther is smart in certain aspects and this is a good way for him to show it, BUT ALSO, IMAGINE IF KENDALL SHOWED GUNTHER THE ROPES FOR ALL THESE STUDENT COUNCIL STUFF AND THAT'S HOW THEY GOT A LITTLE CLOSER AS FRIENDS? Sorry for the all-caps, I just think it'd be super cute if there was more content about the other friendships and connections between the side characters (especially for Kendall, cause I remember her celebrating her birthday alone on that one episode where Kick babysits Oscar I think, AND THAT'S JUST SO SAD AND SHE DESERVES BETTER)
But anyway, sorry for the super long and messy brain dump hahaha, but endpoint to all of this, just wanna say that I love the content you make and I'm super excited to see your other headcanons and comics. That's all, thank you so much for all that you do and I wanna send you virtual hugs (with consent) <33 Byeee!

About Hansel and Kick
I like the idea that she's not overprotective over Kendall or likes Kick right away but a secret third thing: sees him as a rival for the rank of awesome's first place. Like whenever he visits Kendall Hasel goes "aight boy, square up!" And just starts acting cute and adorable because that what somewhat gave her first place in the past.
Her cuteness doesn't work on Kick of course but Kendall? She already loves Hansel very much so whenever Hansel "competes" with Kick by rolling on the floor or rubbing against Kendall's legs you know that Kendall will be borderline crying from how adorable her kitty is.
The fact that cat can easily take all of Kendall's attention like that doesn't makes Kick mad tho. But he sure is irritated by that. Frustrated even.
GUNTHER AND KENDALL'S FRIENDSHIP IS SOMETHING THAT I THOUGHT ABOUT ADGCJVJV
Hansel counts that as a win btw jfnfnnfkfk
Before this ask I just thought that they're neutral. Not friends, Gunther is also kinda wary of her but generally sees her as just a classmate. BUT YEAH THAT EPISODE ABOUT ELECTION. IT WOULD BE FUNNY IF THAT WAS AT LEAST MENTIONED BUT AAAAAAA
Now I kinda like the idea that Kendall was scheming to take Gunther's place after the episode. However, Gunther kinda realized that student council position? Not very hype. Barely any time to hang out. So Gunther genuinely asked Kendall for help. Like, Jacky is wack (affectionate) but Kendall is pretty much known for her love for the rules and academics so it's only logical. And at first Kendall wanted to use that to completely "overthrow" him but Gunther, being an absolute lovable funny guy he is, made her go "Ok, you can stay actually"
I like the idea that Kendall keeps Gunther from turning the school into a Nordic funny land and Gunther keeps her from turning the school into a literal prison. It's a win win situation
ALSO I TOO WISH THERE WAS MORE ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN CHARACTERS SVJVJBL
It's kinda implied that Mouth and Ronaldo are friends. Ronaldo had goons too (where did they go :( ) Also I really warming up to the idea that Kyle and Jackie became chaotic besties or even romantic partners (sorry Gunther x Jackie people, but Kyle x Jackie has more comedic potential to me)
I also wanted to see Kendall interact with more with her peers like jjdjgnjdndjfjck even if not friendly, just lemme see my girl being a menace
JFJJCJC PLEASE YOUR ASK LIGHTEN MY DAYS SO MUCH LIKE I CANT PLEASE KNOW THAT I THOUGHT ABOUT THIS ASK EVERY DAY SINCE I GOT IT
IM SO SORRY FOR LATE REPLY I WAS BUSY BUT SHGUFYCHV NOW ONCE IM GETTING MORE FREE TIME IM MAKING MORE CONTENT ABOUT THIS SILLY LIL DARDEVIL BOY
(Please know I am returning that virtual hug :) )

Don't judge me for the title this is 5k words and I wrote it all over my lunch breaks yesterday and today. I have nothing left. Also idk what dog is in those pics and I ASKED so don’t come for me if it’s a different dog. This is inspired by @dannythedog ‘s anon who asked for a fic like this on her page. I hope ya like it!
Warnings: None, tooth rotting fluff!
Pairing: Sam Kiszka X reader
The normal racket of the your job seemed louder than usual today. Dogs barking and squeaking toys as loudly as they could, tired of being cooped up inside from the rain of the previous few days.
You stopped outside of one of the kennels, squatting down and frowning at the new arrival for the weekend. She was laying down, looking so sad. You couldn’t help but feel your heart break .
“Oh Miss Molly,” you sighed, opening up the gate and letting the golden retriever crawl shyly over to you. “I know you miss your mom and dad, but I’m going to make sure you have so much fun this weekend. We’ll play fetch, and I’ll give you so many belly rubs. And if you keep being this cute you’re gonna weigh so much from all the t-r-e-a-t-s I’m gonna sneak you.” Molly licked at your arm and you laughed, scratching behind her ears. The bell above the front door rang, and you sighed. “I’ll take you and Gunther out to play in a little bit. You’ll have so much fun! But I gotta go back to work for a minute, okay?” You kissed the top of her head and ushered her back into her room, shutting the gate and smiling as, at least now, her tail was wagging.
“Hi! I’m sorry for your wait, how can I help you?” you greeted the man. He turned away from where he was looking at the photo collage you had made. You’d made sure to take pictures of all the dogs that came to stay, as they played and had fun, and thought that a collage of all of them, especially the repeat clients, would show how great of care you took in the animals you were trusted with.
“It’s no problem.” the man smiled at you and you felt your cheeks warm slightly. He was tall, with brown hair that had grown past his shoulders, and the eyes that were the deepest pools of chocolate brown you’d ever seen. He was damn cute. “I was thinking about having my dog boarded here while I travel for work, and was wondering if you gave tours of your property?”
“Tours?” you had to think. “You know, no one has ever asked for one. But why not? First, can I get some information about your dog?”
“Sure.” He came over to the counter, taking his phone out of his pocket and tapping the screen. It lit up to show a beautiful pit bull mix, it’s coat a gorgeous marbled brown. You couldn’t help but coo at her photo and the man chuckled. “Yeah, that’s my Rosie. She’s a rescue pit, and a lot of places don’t want to take her.”
“Yeah, I know.” you shook your head. “Poor pitties get such a bad rap. When really it’s the owners who make them that way.”
“I know!” he agreed, nodding fervently. “She’s a good girl. She’s never hurt anyone, she’s been around babies and kids, she’s the calmest dog I’ve ever had.”
“She seems very sweet.” You smiled. “We don’t discriminate against breeds here.”
“That’s awesome.” the man grinned.
“So, I guess I’ll take you back, you can see how we have the kennels set up, and I’ll show you the back, where we have a bunch of stuff for them to run around and play in…I’m sorry, what was you name?”
“Oh! Sorry, I’m Sam.” he extended his hand over the counter and you shook it, feeling a tingly sensation in your palm as your skin touched.
“Y/N.” When you let go, you ushered him around the counter and through the door, warning him how loud it was going to be.
“My older brother is louder than this!” Sam joked over the barking. You giggled and led him down the hall, explaining that every kennel was designed to look like a little doggie hotel room. They had a small bed, raised food and water bowls, and a small toy chest with some varying toys to play with, in case their owners forgot to leave any.
“I really stress that with pet owners.” you mentioned to Sam as he was baby talking to a corgi. “Bringing a few things they know from home, that smell like home, or you. It helps the dogs feel less lonely and makes the adjustment period for their stay shorter.”
“No that makes sense.” Sam nodded. You stopped outside Molly’s kennel again, seeing her happily chewing on a tennis ball now.
“Look at you! I told you you’d be okay.” You grinned as her tail thumped against the floor. Looking over to Sam, you explained. “She was just dropped off last night, and she was so depressed. Her owners didn’t pack her anything but food and a few treats. I was actually about to take her and another dog out to play before you got here.”
“If you don’t mind, you still can.” Sam shrugged. “I’d like to see the yard in use.”
“Sure.” You went over to the wall where the leashes hung and plucked two of them up, explaining to Sam that until they were outside, the dogs were kept on leashes, just in case they got a little too crazy.
You hooked up Molly’s collar, and handed the lead to Sam, who knelt down and started petting her almost immediately. You went back into one of the back offices, and Gunther, you German Shepard started wagging his tail.
“Come on buddy, let’s go play!” You got him hooked up and walked him back out to Sam, who was now giving a pampered Molly a belly rub. “Miss Molly! You sure do make friends fast!”
“She’s a sweetie.” Sam laughed, straightening up. He urged her up, and Molly listened, trotting next to him as you led them out to the backyard of the property. Once outside, you let the dogs off their leads, and Gunther took off like a shot, Molly chasing after him.
“So, there’s a little obstacle course for the high energy dogs.” You pointed over to the little course you’d built. “Tons of balls, everywhere. Tennis balls, basketballs, soccer balls. And we have a small in-ground pool for the dogs during the summer.”
“This is actually really cool.” Sam smiled down at you. “You really care about these dogs, huh?”
“I do.” you nodded. “That German Shepherd isn’t a boarder, he’s mine. His name is Gunther. He’s technically a rescue.” Sam gave you a curious look. “He was one of my first dogs I ever boarded. And his owners abandoned him. He was only a weekend board, and they never picked him up. I called and called, and then their number was disconnected.”
“That’s….I’m sorry, that fucking pisses me off.” Sam shook his head, his jaw clenched in anger.
“Me too. I had to file a police report but they didn’t really care, so I just adopted him. He‘s amazing, truly. I know it sounds silly, but I think he remembers how he felt when his old owners did that, and when new dogs come in, he wants to help them.”
“No, that doesn’t sound dumb at all.” Sam smiled at you.
“Well thanks.” You smiled back, bashful as his gaze stayed on your face longer than you expected. You looked back over at the dogs, who are now playing tug of war with a rope toy. “I want any dog that comes here to feel at home. I never want them to be afraid or feel abandoned. That’s why I only take five or six at a time, max. Plus it’s just me here most days, so I don’t think I could handle much more.”
“Your care definitely comes through.” Sam complimented. “I feel good about bringing Rosie here.”
“I’d love to have her.” you grinned. “Why don’t I give you some paperwork to take home? And then I have a list of things you’ll need to bring with her for her stay.”
“Yeah, that sounds good.” you called the dogs back, and Gunther dutifully ran over to you, stopping in front of you and sitting as you clipped his leash back on. Molly took a bit more convincing, but made it back to Sam, allowing him to put her lead back on as well. Once the dogs were situated again, you took Sam back out to the front desk and printed off some paperwork.
“So you said you were traveling for work?” you asked conversationally as Sam looked over the papers.
“Yeah, I’m gonna be gone for about two weeks and unfortunately my friends and family all have stuff going on where they can’t watch Rosie for me.”
"Aww well, their loss is my gain. I'm excited to meet her."
"She's gonna love you." he insisted, giving you a wink over the papers that almost made your heart stop. "I know it. I should get going, but I'll bring these back later this week. Maybe bring Rosie by so she can sniff around the lobby and get familiar?"
"That'd be nice. I'll see you then." you nodded as he took one of your business cards from the holder, sliding it into his pocket with the folded up paperwork. You watched as he left, and only turned away when you hear clicking on the tile floors, seeing Gunther standing next to you. "Looks like you might make a new friend, baby!"
🐾 🐾 🐾
You didn't realize that you had been looking forward to seeing Sam again until you looked out into the parking lot later that week, seeing him wrangling Rosie out of the back seat. Your stomach fluttered a bit and you found your self smoothing your hair back and trying to look casual as he came in the shop.
"Hey Y/N!" his grin was blinding as he entered, making sure Rosie was clear of the door before shutting it behind him.
"Sam, hi!" you smiled back. You peered over the counter at the adorable dog in front of you. "And you must be Miss Rosie!" she sat and you made your way around the counter, holding your hand out for her to sniff before reaching out and petting her. You showered the pooch with affection, nearly forgetting Sam was there until you realized he'd crouched down next to you, petting her with you.
"See girl?" he whispered. "I told you you'd like her." you blushed, biting your bottom lip.
"Is she good with other dogs?" you asked him as you scratched under her chin.
"Yeah, she's a little timid at first, but once she gets comfortable, she's fine."
"Good to know." you nodded. "Do you mind if I bring Gunther out? He's kind of the welcoming committee."
"Not at all." you stood up, going in the back and calling for Gunther, who came cantering around the corner. "I'm bringing him out on a leash, keep Rosie on hers."
"Got it!" Sam called back as you snapped the hook onto the collar around Gunther's neck. You held the leash taught in your hand as you slowly brought him out. Introducing dogs could go really smoothly, or really horribly, and you were determined to make sure it was the former for Rosie and Gunther. You came around the corner of the desk, and Gunther tilted his head as he spotted Sam and Rosie. You could see Rosie mirror him, and slowly, cautiously lean forward, sniffing the air. Gunther wagged his tail after a few moments, and took a step forward. Rosie froze, then walked forward herself, sniffing Gunther himself. They circled each other as they smelled and sniffed each other, before Gunther lowered himself in a playful stance, and Rosie reciprocated.
"Oh I'm so glad they get along." you breathed a sigh of relief. Sam agreed, the corners of his eyes crinkling with happiness.
"It makes me feel a lot better, knowing she'll have two friends here already."
"So, when do you leave for your work trip?" you asked as you tried to untangle Gunther's lead from Rosie's. You finally gave up, and unclipped his, Sam undoing Rosie's and letting them play in the lobby.
"Next Wednesday." Sam informed you. "For two weeks, and then I'm back for a bit."
"So you travel a lot?" he reached into the back pocket of his slacks, pulling out the folded paperwork for her stay.
"Yeah, and a lot of times I'm able to take her with me. It's when we go out of the country that I prefer her staying back. I don't care for planes myself, I can't imagine a dog in the cargo hold of one feels any better."
"No, I don't think so either." you chuckled, looking over the paperwork. "Oh, we might have a problem..." Sam's face was concerned, and he leaned over the counter, trying to see where he messed up on the forms.
"Where?"
"Right here, you say she can only have two treats a day." you shook your head. "I'm afraid there's a policy here against that."
"Really?" Sam gave you a look. You nodded seriously.
"Yeah, I can spoil the dogs as much as I want, as long as it doesn't interfere with a special diet or allergy. And I don't see any of that in here." Sam looked over at Rosie, and shook his head.
"You've already got her wrapped around your little paws, huh?" Rosie paused her play at Sam’s voice panting and wagging her tail happily while Gunther rolled on the floor.
“She’s for sure going to leave here spoiled rotten.” you bent down to pet her as she came by. “Really, I don’t get many dogs during the week, so it’ll just be her, me and Gunther most of the time. Then the weekends get a little fuller the closer we get to summer.” You and Sam talked a little longer, and you went over the list of items to bring, who to contact in the case of emergencies and so on. You tried not to feel the jolt of elation when he put his mom down as a contact, instead of a significant other.
“Okay, everything is all set. I’ll see you guys Wednesday morning.”
“For sure.” Sam grinned as he put Rosie’s lead back on. He said his goodbyes to you and Gunther as he left. Your German Shepherd stared out the clear glass door, watching Rosie as she sprang up into the back of Sam’s car.
“Aww buddy don’t worry, she’ll be back.” you felt sad for your furry companion as he whined when they backed out of the space and drove away.
🐾. 🐾 🐾
Wednesday morning, promptly at 8am, Sam brought Rosie to the kennel, a melancholy smile on his face as she trotted over to you, licking the treat out of your open palm. He placed a filled-to-the-brim reusable tote bag of her things on the counter. His hair was tied back in a small bun behind his head, and you had to stop yourself from reaching out and tucking one of the strands that fell loose around his face behind his ear.
“You be good for Miss Y/N.” he told her as he crouched in front of her, petting her soft coat and giving her kisses all over her face. “I’m gonna miss you Rosie-girl.” you let them say goodbye, keeping Gunther behind the small gate to not distract Rosie. When Sam stood up, he sniffled, going to the bag.
“I brought her food, some treats, and a bunch of her toys.” He explained. “Also, there’s this blanket in there, she’s had it since I got her, she sleeps with it on her dog bed, so I thought she might like it.”
“Good, that will really help, Sam.” You smiled. “You’re a good dog-father.”
“I try.” he chuckled. “Oh, there’s also one of my shirts in there. I wore it all day yesterday and slept in it, so it smells like me. I hope that helps too.”
“I’m sure it will.” you nodded. Sam stood there for a few seconds, staring into the bag. You were about to ask him if he forgot anything, but he spoke again before you could.
“Can I get your number?” he asked. Your eyes widened in surprise. “It’s just…If you don’t mind, I’d like to get updates of her. Pictures, or something.” He shrugged sheepishly. “I’ve only boarded her with family and friends before, and they usually do that. It’s okay if you don’t.”
“No, I don’t mind at all.” you smiled. “Give me your phone.” he unlocked the screen and you made a contact profile with your cell phone number, then sending yourself a text to save his contact in your phone. “Like I said, she’s the only other dog I’ll have for a few days, so I’ll have some time. I’ll send you as many pictures as I can.”
“That’s be great.” Sam grinned with relief. A horn honked outside and you both turned to see a van idling. “Shit I gotta go. Okay, thank you so, so much!” He said goodbye to Rosie again as you let her behind the gate, and dashed out the door to the van, climbing in.
“Okay guys, let’s get today started.” you looked down at the dogs and they wagged their tails at you.
Over the next few days, Rosie had become like a little shadow to you. You could tell she missed Sam, but she kept her spirits up, between playing with Gunther and you, and getting ample amounts of treats. Every so often you’d snap a picture of her having fun out in the yard or being silly in the building and send it to Sam, who always responded back with hearts and praising you for taking such good care of his baby.
The first weekend went off without a hitch. Rosie got along with the other dogs and had a blast on a warmer day when you set up the sprinkler for them to run through. The only incident you had was the following week. You were getting ready to close up shop and head home, when you heard a loud crack of thunder, and it was as if the sky opened up and rain poured down to the earth in heavy sheets. Whimpering from the kennels echoed out into the lobby, and you sighed, looking down to Gunther.
“Looks like we’re having a sleepover, bud.” Gunther was already trotting back to the kennels, sniffing at Rosie’s gate. Another crack of thunder and you saw the poor creature cowering on her little bed, the blanket Sam had brought for her rumpled from her anxiously moving around. “Come on, Rosie. Let’s go to the office. I’m not gonna leave you alone tonight.” Rosie slowly, cautiously moved towards you. Once you had her out, you reached in and grabbed a few of her toys and the blanket, and lead her to your office.
Once you had everything situated, you laid down on the couch. You’d put Rosie’s blanket down on the floor by your arms so you could reach out and pet her as she laid there. After half an hour, the thunder was rumbling quieter, but Rosie’s anxiety hadn’t subsided. You felt your heart ache, and wanted to do something. As you thought on how to comfort her better, you remembered. You got up, going over to the cupboard where you put the dogs items and ruffled through the bag Sam had dropped off. You pulled out an old t-shirt, smelling faintly of detergent and cologne, and smiled. You laid back down on the couch, placing the shirt over you and patting it, calling Rosie up softly. She sniffed at the shirt, then eagerly climbed up, laying on your body. The weight was enough to knock the air from your lungs momentarily, but after a few moments, she’s settled down and stopped shaking. You ran your hand soothingly over back, whispering how good of a girl she was.
You had almost fallen asleep yourself when your phone rang. You picked it up, seeing a FaceTime call from Sam. You answered it, and were greeted with his grinning, freshly showered face.
“Hey! Oh my god. Were you going to bed? I’m sorry! I forgot about the time difference.” You shook your head.
“No it’s fine.” you smiled. “It’s a long night. I’m sleeping at the kennel tonight, so I don't expect much sleep.” Sam furrowed his brows.
“Why? Is everything okay? Wait, is that my shirt?”
“Thunderstorms.” you shrugged. “It was really bad a while ago, poor Rosie was trembling with the thunder. I brought her into the office and was trying to get her to calm down, then I remembered you packed this shirt. So I laid it on me and now she’s laying on me.” You tapped the screen of your phone to change cameras, showing Rosie, now dozing away, head on your stomach. “I can’t bring myself to leave her, and my landlord would charge me double rent if he saw I brought another dog home. It was hard enough getting him to allow Gunther."
“Wow, Y/N.” you turned the phone screen around and gave him a smile. “I’m really glad she has you there looking out for her.”
“It’s what I do.” you shrugged. “How’s your work trip?”
“Good, good! The crowds are amazing, the energy is so real and raw, it’s awesome!”
“Crowds?” you asked. “Are you like a public speaker?” Sam laughed.
“Shit I never told you.” he smacked his forehead. “I’m in a band. My brothers and my best friend, we’re touring. That’s my job.”
“Oh wow, that’s really cool!” you grinned. “I’m glad you’re doing well!”
“I’ll have to play you some of our stuff some time, it’s pretty good, if I say so myself.”
“I bet you do.” you laughed. “What do you play?”
“Oh in the band I mostly play bass and keys.” He lifted up his hand and wiggled his fingers like he was playing an invisible piano. “But I play a lot of different instruments. Drums, guitar, kalimba, I used to play sax in school.”
“Ahh, a man of many talents.” you nodded. “I, too, am an accomplished musician." Sam raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah? What do you play?" you grinned at his curiousity.
"Not to brag, but I know my way around a McDonald's straw and cup lid." you pretending to dust off your shoulder, and Sam's laugh echoed, albeit tinny sounding, through the phone.
"That's really amazing. We should collaborate on a song or something."
"Sure, if you can afford me." you continued to joke. "I'm very, very busy with my own world tour, recording contracts, Lady Gaga wants to feature me on her next album..."
"Oh I see." Sam smirked. "Well I'll just have to wine and dine you to convince you to drop Gaga and go Greta."
"Who's Greta?" you giggled.
"Our band. Greta Van Fleet." he smiled proudly.
"That..that's a good band name." you nodded. "Good job on that."
"Thanks." you yawned and stretched a little, Rosie only moving slightly from the disturbance. You glanced down at her, and over to Gunther, who was sprawled out on his back, snoring away. "I should let you go, you need to rest."
"It's okay." you smiled. "U-unless you need to go." you heard hushed voices in the background and Sam's face turned slightly annoyed.
"Yeah, I do actually." he sighed. "Goodnight, Y/N. Give Rosie a kiss for me."
"Will do. Goodnight Sam."
🐾 🐾 🐾
The next few days, Sam facetimed you almost every evening. You purposefully stayed late at the kennel so he could see Rosie. He would stay on the phone with you as you made your drive home, as you cooked or ordered your dinner, and if he could, talk to you while you ate.
"You know, this doesn't count as wining and dining me." you said one night as you chewed a forkful of pasta. "If you really want my skills on your next album, you're gonna have to take me somewhere fancy."
"Oh yeah?" Sam asked as he laid in his hotel bed. "Like where?"
"I dunno," you shrugged, eating another bite as Gunther stared at you with puppy dog eyes. "Olive Garden or something?" Sam burst out with laughter and you shrugged again, knowing you were at least half serious.
"There's this really cute Italian place downtown." he said. "They make their pasta from scratch there, it's a ma and pop place. I'll take you there, how about that?"
"I don't know.." you skewed your lips to the side. "I really like that salty ass salad...."
"You can get the lobster ravioli."
"And suddenly I'm intrigued." you chuckled. "Are you excited to come home tomorrow? I know Rosie is going to be so happy to see you."
"Yeah, I'm ready." he nodded. "After not really touring for so long, this was a lot. I'm glad we'll be back for a little bit."
"I can't imagine. It's probably stressful, even having family with you. You miss a lot."
"It is." Sam agreed. "Hey, Y/N, I wanted to-"
"Sam! We gotta go!" a voice called out on his end. He bit his lip and shook his head.
"I gotta go, I'll see you tomorrow night when I come get Rosie."
"See ya. Have a safe flight."
"Thanks. Goodnight."
"'Night." you locked your phone screen and tossed it on the couch next to you, wondering what he was going to say next.
The next day dragged on. For you and for Rosie. You tried to keep yourself occupied with the chores of the kennel, but there hadn't been that many dogs in and so there wasn't a lot to do. It felt like each hour that ticked away was a full days length, and you felt almost as excited as Rosie when you saw that familiar Tesla pull into the parking space. You held onto her collar as Sam got out, and approached the door. She was already tugging, ready to run at her owner.
"Hey!" Sam greeted. You smiled and let Rosie go. She bounded the short distance over to him, wagging her tail so hard her whole body was wagging too. You couldn't help but laugh as he knelt down, and nearly got tackled by her kisses. "I missed you too, Rosie-girl. I missed you so much!" One she had calmed down a bit, you handed Sam a tissue, letting him wipe his slobbery face as he stood.
"She was an angel. truly." you told him when he asked how she'd been. "Probably the best dog I've kenneled."
"Hear that girl? You're the best!" Sam scratched her head. "Thank you for taking such amazing care of her. And me, kind of. Sending me all those photos and videos, chatting with me. Really put me at ease."
"It was my pleasure." you smiled. You looked down at Rosie. "I'm sad to see you go, Rosie-Posie, but I'm happy you'll be back at your home with your dad."
"Gunther looks kind of depressed." Sam murmured, looking at him where he laid on the floor behind the gate.
"Yeah, he gets like that with the extended stay pets." you nodded. "Plus, I think he really likes Rosie. They did practically everything together for the past two weeks."
"Well, I'll definitely be bringing her back the next time I leave." Sam promised. "I should get her home and settled, and it's about time for you to close, isn't it?" you glanced up at the clock nodding.
"Yeah, let me go grab her things." you walked into the back to your office, grabbing her bag, and making sure all of her toys and items were out of the kennel. You handed the bag to Sam, and you said your goodbyes to him and Rosie, watching them go. You looked over to Gunther, who sighed dramatically and you nodded in agreement. As you moved behind the desk and started your closing duties, the bell above the door rang. "Sam? Did you forget something?"
"Yeah! I mean, no." he looked suddenly embarrassed and nervous. He reached a hand behind his head, scratching his neck."Well, Rosie had such a good time, and she really seems to like Gunther...she was wondering...if maybe Gunther would like to go get ice cream?" you bit your lip, blushing fiercely as he looked at you hopefully.
"I think Gunther would really like that." you answered. "We're free around three tomorrow afternoon, if that works."
"That's perfect."

Petra muddles up love confession letters to her former crushes with the ones to each member of her family, and in a hurry, she ends up sending the love letters. She's terrified when she finds out and when Captain Levi approaches her with a letter in his hand as she sees the Commander Erwin who also got one coming toward her, she doesn't know anymore what she's doing and kisses Levi in front of Erwin. (Established Rivetra?)
this is so much crack and insanity. I love to all the boys I've loved before. fun fact, I listened to this soundtrack on repeat when I started grad school. something about the order of the songs inspired confidence 🥰
Rating: T
Pairings: Erwin x Petra, Erwin x Mike, Petra x Levi
Word count: 770

Letter writing was one of Petra’s passions in life. Family, brother, sister, cousin—Petra wrote them at least once a week to keep them all up to date on her life. The other reason, the one she kept close to her heart, was when she inevitably met her untimely death, her family would have several letters to remember her by.
 She sent her letters off every Saturday morning, postmarked by Monday, and she’s kept this routine since she was a cadet. The stationary changed based on the season, keeping her letter paper simple, but the envelopes were often in bright and overly ornate colorful paper. It was autumn, which meant orange and yellow envelopes made up her writing desk to complement the hues of the trees.
It surprised her when she noticed Levi carrying an identical envelope as he swiftly approached her, his mouth pressed into a taut line. It was unlike him to be late for training, but maybe he received paperwork he needed to attend to. Dressed in identical white cotton shirts, with Petra wearing green shorts that cut off right below her ass, and Levi’s an inch above his knees, she was just warming up for a run as she leaned to her left for a stretch.
“Captain!” she greeted cheerfully, but her eyes zeroed in on the letter in his hands. In neat, cursive handwriting, unmistakeably hers, the front of the letter read: Captain Levi. A heart was drawn to the side, followed by assorted patterns and doodles, and Petra was sure this had to be a nightmare. That was the only explanation as to why Levi held her love letter—a letter that was never supposed to reach his hands.
In addition to writing letters to her family and friends, Petra found it cathartic to write when she felt overcome with love. In a position like hers, romance was off the table, and like most young women, she flitted from crush to crush. It started with Levi—back when she was young and still a cadet, and she squashed those feelings the moment she joined his squad. A few other men in between, and she processed them the same way she always did, with writing.
Currently, she was harboring a crush on their effervescent commander, Erwin Smith. Tall, blond, handsome, she always found him attractive. It was just a harmless crush, enjoying the giddy feeling during meetings, and how he complimented her work. Their friendship over books and writing instruments helped, but she was always able to keep her feelings at bay. It wasn’t until he started dating Mike that things changed. Jealousy reared its ugly head.
Mike was a close friend to everyone on the squad, and seeing Erwin draping his arm over his shoulder ignited a deep melancholy inside Petra. She wanted a partnership, but she was dedicated to the Scouts, to Levi, and anything related to dating would just get in the way.
So, as she did when she was ready to put those feelings aside, she wrote Erwin a letter last week. Among her writing, she reflected on her past loves, noting with grim optimism that this too, shall pass.
“Oi, Ral. We need to talk.”
Eld, Gunther, and Oluo were already running around the track, and Petra nervously wondered if she could get away with running away from Levi. He’d catch up, the damn bastard was fast and never broke a sweat.
But it didn’t mean she shouldn’t try.
She took off, sprinting like an Abnormal chased her, but it took five seconds for Levi to catch up.
“OI!” he shouted, tugging at her shirt. “Is that how you treat your commanding officer?!”
Petra stopped, face flushed, her gaze not tearing from the letter in Levi’s hand.
“Look, Ral, I don’t know what’s gotten into you, or if this is some dare from Eld, but this type of language is strictly unprofessional. I admire you as a colleague—“
Levi’s words grew muddled like she was underwater. In the distance, just a few feet away, hand in hand, were Erwin and Mike, making their way towards the track. In Erwin’s other hand?
Her letter.
“Fuck!” she cried, then looked side to side. In a moment of insanity, she pulled Levi to her, but she slipped, crashing them to the ground as she pressed her lips to his. Levi yelped in his throat, but she chased it down, praying to the goddesses that Erwin saw them. Not now. She couldn’t lose her friends, even if she just ruined her relationship with her boss.
The angry expression on Levi’s face told her otherwise.

Mick Shumacher- Crazy Girl
Tumblr media
summary: camille has known the schumacher family since before she could walk... she has also, arguably, been in love with mick since the moment he held her hand on the playground when they were 5 years old..
warnings: none really, this will talk about Mick’s crash in Jeddah so talk of potential injury and angst, and cursing, and some fluff because I cannot help myself :)
“Camille!” A voice yelled as soon as the girl rolled her suitcase into the hotel lobby. Camille immediately broke into giggles as she saw the blonde woman rushing her way.
“Hi Gina,” the two girls fell into a tight embrace. Camille had made the last minute trek from Zurich to Jeddah for the Grand Prix, swayed by Mick’s pouting on their face time call earlier this week, and his offer to pay for her flight.
“I have missed you! How have you been?” Gina pulled back and grabbed Camille’s hand to drag her towards the elevator. The blonde’s chatted about Gina’s work and Camille’s work as a social media guru for multiple companies based in Switzerland.
Though her job gave her the flexibility to travel if she wanted, Camille had been hesitant to attend the GP this weekend when Gina had asked months ago. Though the girl saw the Schumacher family as almost her own, she tried to keep her distance these days.
The reason? Her feelings for Mick.
Thought Gina knew that Camille had feelings for her brother, and constantly pushed Camille to talk with the boy about it, Camille couldn’t envision a world where that worked out. So in order to try to move on, she tried to pull away. She knew Mick had guesses something was up when the girl didn’t jump to attend his season opener, but he had given her space.
Gina and her mother Corinna were the real problems. The Schumacher women knew how to serve a guilt trip. And it did not help that Corinna also looped Camille’s own mother in, which upped the anty. So after a few months of attempting to keep her distance, here the girl was to view a Grand Prix.
Camille’s flight had gotten in just before dinner time on the day of the Jeddah Free Practice session. The girl headed to her room with Gina, stopping to freshen up, change her clothes, and the girls were right back out the door to meet Mick and some of his team for dinner.
The girls made it to the restaurant near their hotel easily, chatting the whole way about their life updates and the excitement of the weekend. The hostess led them quickly to the room that the Haas team had taken over for the evening. As they entered, there was a loud cheer as they seemed to be the last to join. Camille grinned as Gunther greeted them first.
“Camille!” The grinning man pulled her into a hug. “I am so glad you are here! Our boy has not been smiling much without you.”
“Jeez,” a voice cut in as the two pulled apart. “Expose me why don’t you?” The tall blonde form of her best friend joked as he reached out to pull her into his own embrace.
“Missed you,” Mick whispered into Camille’s hair (as he took a whiff of it), wrapping his arms snugly around her waist.
“Missed you too Mick,” the girl smiled softly, placing a hand on the boys cheek as they pulled back and he left a smacking kiss on her cheek. Mick was quick to lead Camille to a seat next to his own, Gina across from them.
The drive introduced her to his new partner Kevin, who was joined by his wife and their beautiful daughter Laura. Camille found herself deep in conversation with the couple, and even had Laura in her lap at one point, the little girl obsessed with her blonde curls and wrapping them around her tiny fist.
“Watch out, you have heart eyes,” Jock whispered in Mick’s ear after the younger man had sat entranced with the girl at his side.
“Shut up,” Mick grumbled as he turned back to focus in on the conversation his engineer and team were having on his other side. Not too long after, people started to disperse to have an early night for qualifying the next day.
Camille, Gina and Mick walked back with Kevin, Louise and Laura, along with Gunther and a few others. Mick and Camille ended up at the back of the pack, walking and listening to the chatter of the group in front of him. Camille rubbed her arms a few times as they made their way to the hotel, and jumped when she felt fabric over her shoulders.
Looking over she noticed Mick’s arms moving back to his side with a grin and his black zip up sweater covering her dress now. “You’ll be cold!” she protested, the blonde shrugging his shoulders in response. With a huff she grabbed his arm and looped hers with it, so they were huddled against the dry wind of Jeddah.
“I have really missed you, you know?” Mick murmured as they entered the hotel, far enough behind the group that they had to pause in the lobby to wait for the next elevator.
“I know Mick,” she sighed as he peered down at her. “There has just been a lot going on.” The two were interrupted by the elevator arriving, heading into the car with two women following them. Mick let Camille select her floor, and followed her out of the car when they arrived.
“Anything we should talk about?” He asked with a frown as Camille avoided his gaze.
“Nope!” Camille tried to smile up at him, but she knew he could tell some of her smile was forced.
“Ok,” he sighed, leaning down to wrap her in a hug. “Whenever you’re ready to talk about it, I’ll be here.”
“Thank you,” she murmured as she pulled back. “See you in the morning?” She asked with a half smile as she reached back to unlock her room door.
“See you in the morning,” he nodded, waving as her door closed softly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Good morning!” Camille greeted Gina as the girls met in their hotel lobby to grab some food.
“Good morning,” the other blonde smirked. “Good night?”
“Gina,” Camille sighed exasperatedly as they went to the hotel dining room. “We were together all night.”
“I meant you and my brother sneaking off,” Gina pointed out as she grabbed a plate.
“Gina, we literally were three minutes behind you. He walked me to my room and then went to his,” Camille ignored the girls gaze as she grabbed some pancakes and yogurt to nibble on.
“Sure whatever,” Gina laughed as they sat at a table. The two turned their talk towards the days events, finishing their meal and heading to where the Haas team and Mick had sent a car for the girls. Most of the day would be spent in the paddock watching other drivers and of course the Haas team, but the girls were excited to see Mick’s laps most.
The morning went as expected. Camille and Gina had been able to chat with Mick quickly before he headed onto the track, before Camille had gone into the garage to watch his laps with the engineers. A lot of the family and friends preferred to watch from hospitality or the paddock boxes, but Camille had always loved to be in the action.
Even when she had come to races when she was young to watch Michael, she had always convinced her mother to let her go into the garage with the team and Mick to watch. Today was no different, and she always loved to hear Mick’s conversations with his team. The world was now starting to see the quirks to the young driver, and it made her laugh sometimes to listen to him on the radio.
Mick was able to stop for a little bit of lunch before heading out for Q2. At this point, darkness had descended around the track, and Camille and Gina had both headed to the garage to watch the next round. All had gone well, Mick’s pace had looked good. Camille heard him discuss trying to pick up the speed on his next lap.
She ignored the nerves that always approached when watching the boy race. The girl took her eyes off the feed of the track, smiling at Louise who had joined the other girls to watch as well. As Camille looked back at the feed, she keyed into Mick cutting one corner with no difficulty.
Then his tire caught the second edge of the track, and Camille lost track of time. As if in slow motion, she watched the car spin and strike the wall, spinning again to hit the opposite wall.
“Fuck,” Camille breathed out as she grabbed Gina’s hand. “Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
Louise’s hand came up to the girl’s back and Camille recognized Gunther approaching quickly. But Camille and Gina couldn’t take their eyes off the car quickly being surrounded by emergency personnel.
“C’mon Mick,” the girl whispered as she pulled Gina into her side. “C’mon, just get out of the car.”
“Mick, are you ok?” Jock tried to hail the driver on the radio over and over again, each time squeezing Camille’s heart further.
“My mom is calling,” Gina croaked out from beside her.
“Do you want me to answer,” Camille peeled her eyes away from the scene to face her friend.
“I can do it,” the girl gave a heavy sigh. “He is going to be fine Cami, ok?”
“He will,” she smiled shakily as Gina walked to a corner to talk with Corinna, and Camille turned back to the track feed.
“It’s ok Camille,” Louise tried to sooth as Camille waited to see some sort of sign from the car wreckage.
“Gunther, can they let us know if he’s alright?” Camille whipped around to the team principal who was standing by her side.
“They’re trying to get in to him,” the man gestured to the headset he was wearing, holding up a hand as he listened to something. His shoulders sagged as he focused back on Camille. “He’s ok, just can’t get out of the car right now. Radio was out.”
“Jesus,” Camille sighed as she walked to Gina quickly to make sure she could relay the news to the Schumachers. As Gina relayed the update, Camille wrapped her arms around her friend.
“Girls, they are going to airlift him out to get some scans done, but they say they believe he’s fine,” Gunther walked over to update the women.
“Can we see him before he goes?” Camille squeaked as Gina nodded beside her.
“Yes, let me get an FIA car over here,” Gunther led them to the pit lane where there was a crowd of engineers waiting for updates and to be there for Kevin when he came in. A car quickly pulled up and Gunther ushered the two ladies into the car before shutting the door.
Camille’s heart was still racing as they made it to the area where the ambulance had stopped to unload. Gina hopped out first, heading straight to where they could see Mick propped up in a hospital bed. Camille followed behind, watching the siblings hug and Gina hand over her phone quickly.
The blonde talked for a minute or two before his eye’s sought hers out. He frowned when he saw the tears brewing in Camille’s eyes, gesturing her over as he handed the phone back to Gina.
“I’m ok,” he started as she got within reach. “I’m sorry-”
He was cut off by a pair of pillow soft lips pressing against his. Given how long he had been waiting for this, it took him barley a moment to smooth a hand over Camille’s head and kiss her back. The girl pulled back soon after, tears drying on her face and a slightly terrified look in her eyes.
“I’m fine schatz,” Mick reassured with a smile, cupping her cheek and basking in the feeling of her leaning into his hand. “We can talk about that kiss when I get back tonight.”
“If you ever do that to me again,” she threatened as the paramedics began to move his cart. “That will NEVER happen again.”
“What ever you say darling,” the blonde grinned as he was wheeled away, the sight of Camille shaking her head with a bright grin in his mind as he prepared for a night of poking and prodding.

Unexpectedly Expected
tw: mentions of injuries, near death experiences, blood
side note: this takes place during the expedition where the female titan is captured and then escapes. So SPOILER WARNING FOR LATER ON IN SEASON 2 (I also know it's not winter during that episode but for the sake of the scenario let's pretend it is)
The air was cold. Winter within the walls was dreadful for the survey corps. Fighting for humanity was never a part time job, which meant that whatever mother nature had in store for the soldiers had to be taken in stride. No amount of sleet, hail, or snow stopped the scouts from exterminating titans and venturing outside the walls to do so.
"Have you checked your gear brat?" Levi asked with a stoic gaze as he looked cadet Y/N up and down. They beamed brightly at Levi as they nodded their head and gave him a thumbs up.
Levi rolled his eyes at Y/N's enthusiasm, but on the inside he felt his heart warm just a bit. He had always admired the cadet. Their bravery and compassion never ceasing to amaze him. Skill wise, they were almost on par with him which is why he chose them as his second in command for the Special Operations Squad, also known as Squad Levi.
It was an understatement to say that Levi was infatuated with you. He had known cadet L/N since he was first forced to join the Survey Corps. They stuck up for him when Flagon was being a jerk on the day of their arrival. Since then he found Y/N tolerable and eventually began to grow fond of them. However those small feelings that he had became even more intense after Y/N became his shoulder to cry on after Isabel and Furlan died. Since then they have depended on each other and climbed the ranks.
Despite Y/N being in the Survey Corps longer than Levi, they refused to take a higher position when Erwin asked them to become squad leader. Instead they stuck by Levi's side and became content with being his second in command.
Y/N's feelings for Levi were obvious to everyone in the Survey Corps except for Levi. Hell, even the new recruits of the 104th cadets asked if there was something between them and the stoic captain because of the obvious infatuation and pining. Not only is Y/N scared to make a move because of the obvious fear of rejection, but they also fear that they could potentially ruin things between the two of them if they were to add feelings to the equation.
"Make sure to come back alive Y/N," Levi remarked as his hands tightened on the reigns of his horse.
"Only if you do the same Levi," Y/N responded with a cheeky grin.
Once again, Levi rolled his eyes. The yell from Erwin broke him out of his thoughts as they began to ride off beyond the walls.
*skip to after the female titan was captured because I'm lazy*
"Y/N, you're in charge while I'm gone. Take care of my horse. Make sure you get the brat back to headquarters safely. And if shit goes south protect Jaeger," Levi ordered, zipping away before Y/N had the chance to respond.
"You heard the man, I'm in charge. Let's secure our horses in a safe position and get to higher ground just in case random titans come wandering into the forest before the mission is complete," Y/N ordered.
The other squadmates were obviously upset and hurt. They had no idea why they were left in the dark when the plan was to capture the female titan all along.
"I mean new recruits aside, why didn't they tell the survey corps veterans like all of you? The only people who knew were captain Levi and Y/N," Eren asked, looking around.
Y/N cringed at Eren's realization which was partly true but not completely. Y/N was against not telling the entire squad about the plan but the Commander and Levi insisted it was best to keep it under wraps.
"Are you implying that we aren't trusted by the Lance Corporal and Commander? Tell him that's not true Y/N!" Petra yelled, looking at Y/N for confirmation.
"Look, it's not that we don't trust you guys at all. However, there is a traitor in the survey corps," Y/N began to explain.
That would explain why we were kept in the dark about all of this. So you, being a survivor of the attack five years ago were informed about this since it's likely that the perpetrator infiltrated during the fall of Shiganshina?" Eld asked, looking directly at Y/N.
Y/N smiled at Eld's understanding and thought about how he would make a great squad leader. He was dependable and kind, something the survey corps needed. Y/N nodded at Eld's conclusion and a wave of relief passed through the Levi Squad. Although they were upset that they were under suspicion, they knew that it was an extremely important thing to keep under wraps.
Suddenly, a loud roar was heard and the ground began to shake. A retreat flare signal was fired soon after and the Levi Squad looked at each other with wide eyes.
Y/N's attempt at a smile turned into a grimace. They had a bad feeling about this. There was a nagging feeling that something would go wrong. Quickly shaking off the bad feeling, they ordered the squad to retreat.
Was Levi okay? Is he injured? No, he wouldn't be. He wasn't humanity's strongest for no reason. Whatever situation he found himself in, he would surely be able to figure it out and come back safely. After all, they had a deal.
Small talk about the first expeditions rang through the air, but Y/N couldn't bring herself to participate in the light hearted conversation. They knew something was wrong. A flare signal was spotted which meant that Levi was nearby. Y/N saw a hooded figure and immediately knew something was off. They were way too tall to be Levi and all of a sudden their eyes widened.
The titan shifter had most likely escaped. This was the bad feeling they were having.
"Gunther look out!" Y/N yelled but it was too late.
Gunther was hanging from a tree, his body limp and unresponsive in the blink of an eye.
"Guys! It's the female titan! Retreat back to headquarters with Eren. I'll apprehend them!" Y/N yelled to the group.
Y/N was more than capable of handling the female titan. Their speed and strength was second to Levi. It would be no problem taking the shifter down, however before Y/N could pull out their blades, a strike of lightning flashed before them and they were blown away on impact, being way too close to the female titan when she decided to shift.
Y/N flew through the air and only stopped after they hit a tree, the wind being knocked out of them and their head being hit against the tree. They felt a sting in their abdomen and looked down to where their own sword impaled them, having been caught in the crossfire after attempting to ready to battle the female titan. Somehow the blade impaled them while they were flying through the air.
Y/N tried their best to stay awake, but their vision was blurred and they were slowly losing consciousness. A tear slipped from their eye as they realized they were going to die. Y/N wasn't scared of death, but they didn't want to leave Levi alone again. To put him through the pain of losing someone else that was close to him. But Y/N couldn't fight it anymore and their eyes slowly closed, darkness engulfing them.
Levi zipped through the trees, following the explosion he had seen earlier. The female titan had slipped right through their fingertips and he was more worried than ever. Was his squad okay? Of course they were. Y/N could handle the female titan without a problem. But still, he had a lingering bad feeling.
His breath caught in his throat after seeing the mangled bodies of his squad mates. Gunther, Eld, Oulo, and Petra all dead. His heart skipped a beat as he noticed Y/N and Eren were missing. Did they make it back to headquarters? Were they safe? No. A roar erupted in the air signaling that the fight was not over.
Levi soared through the air, anger coursing through his veins for his fallen comrades. He was going to avenge them and take down the female titan.
After retrieving Eren from the female titan, Levi felt empty. There were no signs of Y/N. Almost as if they had vanished. He expected them to be near Eren and fighting the female titan, but that was not the case. Eren was not conscious so he couldn't even ask what had happened to her. Levi was left to assume the worst.
It wasn't until Levi spotted a familiar figure slumped against a tree that he abruptly stopped and told the other Ackerman to continue until they met up with the rest of the Scouts.
Levi was relieved, finally being able to spot Y/N, but that relief turned to dread after he saw the state of Y/N's body. They were slumped against the tree with a blade piercing their abdomen. Levi rushed over to them to check their pulse, cursing the universe for even thinking about taking away another person that he cared for.
He was relieved to find that Y/N's pulse was still there, although in the back of his mind he knew there was no way they could survive after losing that much blood and having other injuries.
"L-Levi," Y/N called, their voice raspy.
They slowly opened their eyes to meet Levi's steely grey ones. This was one of the only times aside from after Isabel and Furlan died where he expressed so much emotion on his face.
"Don't talk you brat, you're just going to make it worse. I'm going to take you back and get you patched up. Just hang on for me a little while longer," Levi said, preparing to carry Y/N back even though his ankle was killing him at the moment.
Y/N chuckled bitterly, blood escaping her lips as she coughed a little.
"You know I'm not going to make it back Levi. This is the end for me," Y/N said, giving Levi a sad smile.
"Stop talking like that. You're not allowed to die on me. That's an order you idiot," Levi commanded, his voice wavering.
"I'm sorry. But I'm glad I got to be by your side for this long. Loving you is something I will never regret," Y/N responded, smiling sadly at Levi.
His eyes widened as he looked down at his second in command, his best friend, the person he would give his entire heart to in a flash. Levi leaned in slowly and planted a kiss on Y/N's lips, the salty taste of their tears interfering. Levi pulled away to look at the smile on their face and found himself smiling as well.
"I love you, Y/N. That's why I'm not letting you die," Levi said, taking Y/N into his arms.
He soared through the forest carrying Y/N, looking down to find their eyes closed. He was too scared to check their pulse in fear that they might already be dead.
Just stay with me a little longer. Don't leave me behind.
*time skip*
"So you love me huh Levi?" Y/N asked, giving Levi a goofy grin.
After the expedition Levi rushed back and Y/N made it by the skin of their teeth. Hange even said it was a miracle that they lived with all of the blood loss and other injuries.
"Shut up brat. Don't make me take it back," Levi responded, rolling his eyes.
During Y/N's recovery he rarely left their side. Hange realized that he might have finally confessed his feelings and teased him endlessly.
"Aww, don't be so harsh. I love you too Levi," Y/N said, giving Levi a quick kiss on his cheek before dashing off to chat with Hange about her latest experiments.
Levi watched their retreating form and smiled slightly to himself. Yeah, he loved them. And that's something he would never regret.
Hope you enjoyed! Writing this was wild lol.

Rivetra Week 2021
lol not me completely not knowing that Rivetra Week was happening THIS week and frantically trying to put something together. but on a more serious note, everyone in this fandom is so incredibly talented, I am in constant awe of all of you. always and forever, thank you for reading.
August 25th - Day 2: Jealousy
Levi had never considered himself to be a particularly possessive person. Sure, he had grown up in the pits of the Underground and he had learned how to protect what was his, how to prevent people from sticking their noses into his territory. He had established such a strong and deadly reputation for himself that once he arrived at the surface, there were few that dared to challenge him and his authority, especially when he had someone like Erwin at his side vouching for him. He didn’t want for much, he was used to surviving on next to nothing, he didn’t have many possessions to his name and besides, no one would dare to touch his things or even enter his room without permission anyways. He certainly wasn’t possessive of his friendships with others, if he could even call them that to begin with. He was protective of his squad in the sense that he didn’t want to see the shitty brats get devoured by titans, but they were free to do what they wanted otherwise. Really, he wasn’t a very possessive guy, he never had any reason to be.
So he didn’t quite understand the strange feeling that had coiled tightly in his chest and the way that his blood seemed to boil beneath his skin when he saw one of the Garrison officers chatting up Petra.
Levi had permitted his squad to have the day off, claiming that he needed to make a trip to the local market for supplies because “rations only give us the shit kind of everything anyway” when they had all agreed to join him. Begrudgingly, he had accepted. To be honest, the entire excursion into town didn’t end up being as bad as he had expected. He had found his tea, special soap, some extra cleaning supplies, and even a nice bottle of whiskey; he even considered sharing some with the rest of his squad later in the evening and they were just about ready to depart when the local flower stand had caught Petra’s eye. “They remind me of home,” she had said softly as she eyed the yellow chrysanthemums, a wistful look on her face, and she was quickly drawn to them, promising him that she would only be a moment. He had turned his back to get the horses, only a few minutes, but when he was just about to see what was taking her so long (“Oi, Ral, how long does it take to buy some fucking flowers?”), he was there.
He was tall, blonde, radiating with boyish charm and wearing a goofy grin that made the captain want to sink his fist into his face for some unknown reason. His lips were moving, he was saying something to her, and Petra’s hand flew up to cover her mouth, but he could see the way her lips curled upwards at the corners, the way her shoulders shook slightly. She was giggling. Her face was flushed. Was she blushing too? Levi watched as the boy dug his hand into his pocket and pulled out a coin, pressing it into the vendor’s palm before plucking a flower at random, a daisy, from the bouquet. He reached forward, tucking it behind her ear, stepping closer to her.
Levi was pretty sure this bordered on sexual harassment.
Before he was even aware of what he was doing, he felt himself striding over to the pair with purpose, a murderous scowl etched across his features. Petra turned to greet him with a smile, but the boy didn’t even notice him at first, still staring at her with that stupid look on his face, before Levi cleared his throat, noticing with smug satisfaction how the boy sputtered violently, thumping a fist over his heart quickly.
“Captain Levi! I’m sorry, sir, I didn’t see you,” he squeaked.
“I can see that,” Levi said, a bite creeping into the edges of his voice. “Ral, it’s time to get going, c’mon.”
She laughed nervously, twisting a piece of hair between her fingers. “Sorry, Captain, I was just going to grab some flowers when I got to talking with-” She gestured to the boy beside her before she blinked in confusion. “I’m sorry, you didn’t even tell me your name.”
“Henri.” He nodded his head at her before turning to Levi, extending a hand. “Henri Augustine, sir. It’s an honor to meet you,” he said, flashing him a toothy grin.
Levi only glared in response and Henri slowly dropped his hand, wiping his palm against his trousers and glancing at Petra out of the corner of his eye.
He jerked his chin towards the horses. “Petra, let’s go.”
She nodded in agreement and offered Henri a small wave and a soft smile before the boy quickly snatched her wrist, tugging her towards him. “Petra, wait!”
Contrary to popular belief, Levi also didn’t consider himself to be an unnecessarily vengeful person; he only used the right amount of vengeance when the situation called for it. But when he saw the punk’s fingers close around her wrist, he prayed to whatever deity he could think of that a titan would wreak havoc through the marketplace and the little shit would become lunch.
Henri pulled her closer to his chest, far too close for Levi’s liking and far too close to be considered appropriate in public, and bent forward to whisper something into her ear. Levi couldn’t quite hear what he was saying, but he caught snippets of his words, something like “love to see you” and “keep in touch”. She was blushing furiously and it made his stomach churn. Violently.
He was just about ready to put an end to their little conversation and insist she come with him, they did need to make it back to the barracks before sundown, when the boy brought her fingers to his lips, giving the back of her hand a soft kiss.
Levi saw red.
Within an instant, he was beside her and shoving the soldier backwards. Henri stumbled for a moment, his arms flailing wildly, before recovering and staring at the captain in bewilderment.
Levi seized Petra’s upper arm and began dragging her towards the horses. He knew that his grip was far too tight, but he didn’t care, choosing to ignore her hiss of pain.
“Captain - ow! - What’re you doing?!”
“We’re leaving,” he spat through a clenched jaw. “Now.” He spun her around, grabbing her hips and forcefully hoisting her onto her horse. She squeaked in surprise, her cheeks flushing bright red as she hastily adjusted herself across her saddle.
She tossed one last look over her shoulder at Henri, who still stood there seemingly petrified, and offered him a pitying glance before the bright yellow flowers caught her eye once more.
“Wait, Captain! I didn’t get the flowers!”
“Tough shit, Ral.”
If she were standing on the ground, and feeling an extra bit childish, she would’ve stomped her foot in indignation. Instead, she gave a small huff, offering the captain a subtle lift of her middle finger behind his back and muttering curses under her breath before she joined the rest of her squad. The boys exchanged confused, and concerned, looks between them as Eld rode beside her, leaning in.
“Should I even ask what the hell happened?” he mumbled from the corner of his mouth.
“Nope,” Petra replied, popping her lips at the end of her word.
Eld nodded tersely before shaking his head at Oluo and Gunther, imitating a slashing motion across his neck.
It was going to be a long ride home.
——————————
Petra had always known that she was a beautiful girl: she knew about the effect that she had on the men around her, how they would turn their heads when she entered a room. She knew that they found her desirable, something that her father had cautiously warned her about as she reached maturity and reminded her of as she enlisted in the military (“Really, Pet, the only girl in that entire squad?”). However, even though she was beautiful, she wasn’t a particularly feminine woman. Her brazen confidence, strength, and thirst for vengeance, coupled with her Scout uniform that was usually covered in blood and guts, had most men running for the hills before she could even introduce herself. It was alright, she reasoned; they weren’t worth her time anyway. Besides, she didn’t have time for romance, not when she was risking her life everyday for the sake of humanity. Still, she sometimes found herself daydreaming what it would be like to fall in love, get married, raise a family, like normal people do everyday, like she could do when the war ended.
She flopped onto her bed, having retired for the evening and changed into her nightgown, twisting the nearly-forgotten daisy, the source of all her current woes, between her fingers and plucking the individual petals with a tad more force than necessary. She hadn’t actually been interested in Henri, he was far too tall and lanky for her taste. But for a brief moment, her heart had fluttered at the mere notion of loving someone and being loved in return, especially when the focus of her affections was being an absolute ass.
She groaned in frustration, rubbing at her temples as she pushed away from her pillow. She needed to talk to him, she needed to set a boundary and tell him that she didn’t need him rushing in to defend her honor like she was some sort of damsel, she could handle herself perfectly fine.
But when she opened her door, she nearly yelped in surprise to see the very person she needed to talk to was already standing in her doorway, his knuckles raised to rap against the door. He looked at her with a similar expression of shock before his face melted into his usual bored, impassive look and he quickly shifted something behind his back before Petra caught a glance of what it was.
“What’re you doing here?” he said in a low voice.
She gestured to the nameplate on her door. “This is my room.”
The tips of his ears burned red, the only sign of his apparent awkwardness. “…oh, yeah.”
She folded her arms across her chest, feigning nonchalance. “What do you want?” she asked. Her tone was dry.
He narrowed his eyes at her. “Is that how you want to talk to your commanding officer?”
Petra gave him a pointed look, pinching the bridge of her nose in exasperation, another habit of his that she had picked up. “What do you want, Captain?”
He swallowed audibly, she could practically see the knot that had wound itself in his throat. It confused her; in all the time that she had known him, she had never seen Levi quite so… nervous.
He threaded a hand through his hair. “I just, y’know, wanted to say that I’m-” He pressed a palm against his chest and grimaced, almost as if the words brought him physical pain. “I think I owe you, um… an apology… for today.” He scowled. “Even if that little shit was being a brat. And um, here, I guess.” He thrust something into her hands and Petra blinked once, then twice, then three times.
Yellow chrysanthemums.
“You said they reminded you of home, right?”
Flowers. He had given her flowers. Instantly, all of her anger and annoyance and frustration towards him seemed to melt away and an unfamiliar, yet pleasantly warm feeling swept into its place, pooling low into her gut and heating her from the inside out.
“You never picked them up when we were in town so I doubled back and got them for you.”
He had gone all the way back into town for her. To get her flowers.
“Just don’t expect something like this ever again, Ral, because that vendor charged the fuck out of me, so if you want flowers, I’ll just go pull you some weeds from the forest next time-”
“Captain?”
She stepped closer to him until they were nearly touching and lifted up onto her toes, quickly placing a chaste kiss against his cheek, desperately hoping that he wasn’t close enough to hear the pounding of her heart against her sternum. His skin was surprisingly smooth beneath her lips, she noticed faintly, and she smiled softly at him. “Thank you,” she whispered, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks and fighting back a blush.
He nodded, muttering something under his breath akin to “get that shit in some water or it’ll dry out” before promptly bidding her goodnight. He turned on his heel, retreating quickly back to his office but not before he could notice, from the corner of his eye, her beaming smile, the kind of shit that lights up a room, as she stared down at his flowers. The sight brought a small smirk to his face and the tightly coiled tension in his chest that he had felt all day, ever since seeing that Garrison punk sidle up to her at the flower stand, finally unraveled, replaced by a faint stirring that made his heart beat just a little faster.
Sometimes, being possessive paid off.
He noted that for next time.

🔥Scalding🔥
A/N: Hello everyone! So, this is actually my first ever Levi x Reader fic. I usually write IzuOcha stuff for MHA on my other blog, xxpadfootxx, but I decided I’d give this a shot. Nobody asked for this, and I apologize in advance if it’s shitty. Thanks for reading anyway, and I hope you enjoy! Requests are open if you guys like this stuff and I have more works on the way so stay tuned!
Warning: this is both angsty and fluffy and very long. I didn’t mean for it to get this long, sorry 😬
Tumblr media
~~~ Levi felt nothing but numb self hatred. Blood stained his clothes, some of it even smeared in his hair. Sweat was slicked over his body, making him shiver as it cooled on his skin. Mud and grime covered him from head to toe, but for the first time in his entire life, he had very little desire to actually clean himself.
The Captain ignored everyone he passed, words were beyond him anyway, caught in his throat as he struggled to breathe. He knew to other people he looked almost unaffected, his head held up high and his stride unfaltering as he made his way through the Survey Corps headquarters, but on the inside, he was a raging mess, his emotions threatening to boil over at any second.
Nobody noticed how his gaze seemed just slightly less focused than normal. Nobody noticed that the look on his face was not his usual scowl, rather, that the lines were deeper, angrier as he battled with his own heart. Nobody noticed how his shoulders were almost imperceptibly slouched, everyone too caught up in their own grief and affairs to worry about the person they all thought was made of stone, the person they all thought was emotionless, cold, and unfaltering in his strength. Nobody, but one.
(Y/N) (L/N) was walking beside her fellow Squad Leader, Hanji, pretending to listen to the bespeckled woman talk about their new plan of attack on the Female Titan, her entire attention focused solely on the raven-haired man walking towards her. Levi bypassed the two of them without any sign that he had even seen them, his eyes slightly clouded, his mind obviously preoccupied with more important thoughts than what was going on around him.
(Y/N) glanced around her, her (e/c) eyes scanning the faces of the soldiers walking around nearby, searching their expressions to see if any of them were paying attention to the emotional state of their Captain, to see if they could even tell that something was clearly wrong with him. A quick survey of the room told her that she was the only one who had noticed. It didn’t surprise her much.
It saddened her a bit, but she wasn’t surprised. Levi was excellent at hiding what he was thinking, shuttering the emotion in his expressions, and standing up tall despite the obvious weight on his shoulders, the emotional burden he carried. But (Y/N) had known him since her time in the Underground.
The pair had met when they were both very young, fending for themselves after Kenny had abandoned Levi, (Y/N) hiding him in her ramshackle hovel of a home when he was running from the merchants he had thieved from. They had quickly come to realize how effective they were as a team, surviving together until they met Farlan and eventually Isabel. They had been busted together, brought up to the surface together, fought in the expedition together that had resulted in the deaths of their two closest friends, the pair refusing to be separated by anything, no matter what.
Now they were both high ranking officers in the military, having gone through the worst of the worst together. She knew Levi was the best at suppressing his emotions, no matter how strong they were. But he could hide nothing from her.
(Y/N) didn’t say a word as she gently placed her hand on Hanji’s shoulder, her way of wordlessly excusing herself, before turning on her heel and following where she had seen Levi disappear around the corner.
____________________________
Levi’s mind was on autopilot as he stepped into his private bathroom, reaching into the shower to turn the water to scalding without really thinking. Slowly, he peeled off his uniform, wincing slightly as the dried blood pricked his skin as it was ripped off of him, and threw it in the corner, his mind so hazy he didn’t care about the mess.
When he was bare, he stepped under the spray, wincing as the water seared his back. He held in his scream of rage, his sob of despair, merely hanging his head and standing under the shower head, the water sluicing off his body and the steam fogging up the entire bathroom.
It was his fault. All. His. Fault. He was their Captain, had been, at least. They had depended on him and he had failed them, watched them as each of his squad was crushed underneath the Female Titan’s rage, their faces contorted in fear. The image of their lifeless eyes, their broken bodies, their flesh stained with blood as they laid in puddles of their own intestines, or hung from tree branches, half of their bodies hanging on an entirely different branch from the other half. Eld, Gunther, Oulo, Petra… they were all gone and he was to blame.
 A small whine escaped his lips despite his efforts to suppress it, his body beginning to shake despite the scalding temperature of the water. All his fault. He was useless. Fucking useless.
Everyone he cared about he was destined to lose. He could see that now as memories of his friends and family flashed in his head. His sweet, abused mother, cooing to him gently, before the memory shifted to the moment of her death, when he was wearing one of her blouses and begging her to wake up, fat tears rolling down his small cheeks. His best friends, laughing and teasing him, loving him despite his surly attitude, before the memory shifted to Isabel’s decapitated head lying lifelessly on the ground as he stared at it, horrified.
And now his squad, the bright memories of them following him dutifully, training by his side, following his every order as they trusted him to make the right decisions. Their laughter filled his head, their bright smiles and loud cheering whenever they were together, paying no mind to his grumbling, knowing he wasn’t truly annoyed when they were having fun, just so long as they didn’t get too out of hand. The memories shifted again, their laughter rising from shrill squeals into panicked screams, the sound getting louder and louder in his head until his legs could no longer support him.
Levi slowly fell to his knees, his head hanging low as a few stray tears dripped down his cheeks, their pleas echoing in his ears and the sound of their bodies getting crushed thundering in his heart.
“LEVI!”
“Captain! Please!”
“Save us, Levi! Please, gods please no!!!”
“I don’t want to die! I don’t want to die!”
“This is all your fault! We trusted you!”
“Why did you have to lead us to our deaths, Levi? I wasn’t ready to leave yet…”
Levi choked on a sob as his body shook harder, his shoulders shaking. His hair fell down to cover his face but he didn’t move to brush it away, his hands curled into fists where they rested on his thighs. He was such a fucking disgrace, so fucking disgusting, why did he even try? It was clear he was destined to be alone forever, not only that but it was clear that everyone he was around was lost, so why even fucking bother?
A watery image suddenly fluttered across his mind, giving him pause. It was the image of a woman with a beaming smile, the corners of her lips curving upwards wickedly as she looked at him, her eyes sparkling with mischievous intent. Her face was bright and full, her eyes sharp yet loving as she watched his back. His best friend. (Y/N).
She had been with him pretty much since the beginning. When he had met her, he had immediately been drawn to her, the small girl hiding him from the authorities without hesitation when he had passed by her filthy hovel, desperately searching for an escape route. After she had saved him, he had originally been wary of her, just as he had been with everyone in the Underground, automatically expecting her to want something from him in return for saving his ass. But to his surprise, she had merely wanted to help him, no malicious intent in her gaze.
He had also been surprised by her strength. She was his age, and at the time, she had also been alone, having lost both of her parents at a young age too, her mother abandoning her after her father died. After learning this, Levi had expected her to be sensitive and weak, maybe even wracked with illness like most of the children in the Underground, but she had quickly dispelled that notion, always on par with him, and able to go toe to toe with him in battle, keeping his mind sharp and his reflexes on point.
She was smart and surprisingly funny, the only person who could genuinely get a laugh out of him, a luxury he knew she treasured and never abused despite her teasing nature. She was a sly little fox that was for sure, but gods did he love her. She had never failed him, always knowing exactly how to treat him.
He hadn’t lost her. Not yet. He couldn’t lose her, could never lose her. He wanted to fight for her, to keep going for her, but the hatred he felt for himself, the overwhelming sense of hopelessness that flooded him, doused his thoughts of fighting back, making him feel nothing more than a throbbing exhaustion, his eyes fluttering closed as he surrendered to his negative thoughts, his body shaking even worse than before.
Then he felt it. The softest touch of light fingers on his chin. Opening his eyes slowly, his head was lifted, his gaze locking on the (e/c) eyes that were never too far from his thoughts and haunted his heated dreams.
_______________________
(Y/N) had followed Levi to his room but had given him enough distance so he wouldn’t know she was there. She knew under normal circumstances that he would’ve noticed her immediately, his sharp senses never missing anything, but with him in this particular emotional state, lost deep in the labyrinth of his despair and his grief, she knew she could remain undetected.
She desperately wanted to comfort her best friend, but knew that even like this, he would be irritated if he discovered she was trying to help, too worried about keeping up appearances to want to accept her help, even despite their past together. So (Y/N) hung back, waiting for the right moment to confront him.
She had waited until she knew he was in the shower before entering his bedroom from where she had been waiting in his office, sitting on the edge of his bed while she waited for him to get out.
Ten minutes passed. Then twenty. Then thirty. Then forty.
When an hour had passed, (Y/N) stood and knocked on his bathroom door, worry gnawing at her gut. When she received no response, (Y/N) took a deep breath and gently pushed open the door.
The entire bathroom was fogged up with steam, to the point where it made her eyes water, her hand coming up to wipe at her now damp brow.
“Levi?”
(Y/N) rounded the corner and gasped at the sight. She had never ever seen Levi like this. Even when they had comforted each other after Isabel’s and Farlan’s deaths, he had never looked like this. Like he had completely given up.
He was sitting on the floor of his shower, his head hanging low as he cried, his whole body shaking like he had a fever. His normally pale skin was an angry red, a testament to the temperature of the water. She could tell he didn’t even know she was there.
Swallowing hard, (Y/N) didn’t hesitate to approach him, keeping her eyes up determinedly as she made her way to him. She crouched, gently touching his chin with her fingers when he still didn’t respond to her kneeling in front of him.
Her eyes bored into his when he met her gaze, his normally bright silver eyes glazed over with sorrow and self-loathing. She honestly didn’t even know if he could really see her, too lost in his own world to really know who he was looking at.
(Y/N)’s gaze hardened as she looked into those empty eyes. This was not the Levi she knew. She knew in that moment, as she looked into the soul of her closest friend, the one who had been with her through thick and thin, and the one who would likely be with her until the end, (Y/N) knew that she would hate nothing more than the look on his face right now.
(Y/N) finally managed to tear her gaze away from his and reached over, hissing at the heat of the water as it burned her bare arm, the tank top she always wore beneath her Survey Corps jacket doing nothing to protect her skin as she turned the handle down, involuntarily sighing a bit as the water cooled.
Levi did not react to the temperature change, he just remained sitting, his eyes closed once more. (Y/N) ignored the worry that clawed at her stomach at his unresponsiveness, and moved to stand behind him, grabbing the shampoo bottle and kneeling down so she was at eye level with his back and shoulders. (Y/N) didn’t mind the feeling of her clothes getting immediately soaked as she set her entire focus on her hurting friend.
“I’m going to wash you, now,” (Y/N) said, and without waiting for a response, knowing she wouldn’t get one, (Y/N) got to work.
Squeezing the soap into her palms, (Y/N) got to work carefully scrubbing the filth from his hair, running her fingers through the raven black strands until the crusted over patches from the blood had been returned to their normal smooth softness. She worked the suds into his scalp, digging her fingers in until it was cleaned to her, and therefore his, satisfaction. Gently grabbing his shoulders, she pulled him under the spray and used her fingers once more to rinse the soap from his hair, making sure she washed it from under every strand so he wouldn’t be itchy later.
As soon as his hair had been soaped and washed, she moved onto his shoulders, grabbing the sponge on his shelf and applying more soap to his skin. Her touch was gentle but firm, almost reverent as she washed him, scrubbing the grime from his body with the utmost care. (Y/N) moved onto his shoulder blades and the rest of his upper back before switching to the front, forcing her eyes to stay modest as she focused on the hard planes of his chest, washing each individual groove with the sponge, the blood and the filth giving under the pressure of the soap and the sponge to slide down the drain.
When she got to just above his belly button, (her eyes latched onto his face like a lifeline), she grabbed his hand and placed the sponge in his palm, meeting his gaze with a smile at the light that she could see starting to return to his silver hues.
“I’ll leave the bottom half for you to enjoy,” (Y/N) said, her tone light but sensitive to his still fresh pain, before moving behind him again and raising her hands to condition his hair.
Levi said nothing as he washed the rest of his body, his mind short circuiting at the feeling of (Y/N)’s nimble fingers running through his hair. He felt like he was going crazy when he had the urge to moan and press his head against her hand like a cat, his eyes widening as he forced the feeling down and focused on washing himself.
When he was all clean, (Y/N) shut off the water and grabbed ahold of both of his hands, gently leading him out of the shower and into the bathroom which had finally been cleared of steam. Grabbing a towel, (Y/N) wrapped it around his waist and tied in the front before grabbing another towel and reaching up to dry his hair, scrubbing at the mussed locks until they were fluffy and dry.
Moving on, (Y/N) dried his upper body, taking special care to run the towel along the grooves of his muscles, soaking up every drop of moisture.
Since he was covered this time, (Y/N) leaned down and dried his legs herself, keeping her gaze locked on the tiles of the bathroom floor as she dragged the fluffy cloth over his skin. Moving around him, (Y/N) was careful to blot at the welts on his back from the water that had burned him, dabbing around the spots and murmuring soft apologies whenever he winced.
When he was finally dry, (Y/N) threw the towel she had been using into the corner with his discarded clothes and dragged him into his room, quickly moving to his dresser so she could pull out some clothes for him. She originally thought to grab a shirt and some pants, but one look at him showed her that he was barely able to stand on his own, let alone get fully dressed.
Handing him a pair of his boxers, (Y/N) turned to give him some privacy as she heard him drop his towel and shuffle around to put his underwear on. When he was decent, (Y/N) helped him into his bed, pulling back the sheets and slowly pushing him down onto the pillows, her fingers lightly pressing his chest.
“Rest,” was all (Y/N) said as she quickly turned and headed back into the bathroom, pausing only to grab a shirt of his, her own clean clothes still in her room several halls over.
 She stripped and bathed quickly, faster than she ever had before, hopping out of the shower and throwing on Levi’s shirt before sliding her underwear over her thighs just underneath where the shirt covered her, the garment a little big on her.
Opening the bathroom door quietly, (Y/N) peeked her head inside before tiptoeing out of the bathroom towards the door leading to his office, hoping to let him get some sleep for once, now that he was clean. She made it to the door, her fingers resting on the handle when her name being called in the softest voice she had ever heard made her pause.
Turning around slowly, (Y/N) saw Levi watching her, his silver eyes wide as he stared at her. He looked so young at that moment, almost scared. Her heart clenched, he was so open right now, so vulnerable, even in all of her time with him, she had never seen him this bare before her, his emotions laid out for her to see in their entirety for the first time in his life.
(Y/N) didn’t hesitate to move to him, her eyes never breaking from his intense stare as she approached him. When she finally got close enough, his arm shot out, his hand grasping her wrist and squeezing once. A silent plea. A call for help, the kind he didn’t know how to voice out loud. The kind he never had voiced out loud before.
Suddenly, in that moment, (Y/N) realized how stupid it would’ve been for her to leave. She needed to be by his side, just as she always had. (Y/N) glanced at the spot on the bed beside him. They had shared a bed before, but that hadn’t been since their time in the Underground, when they were forced to share, both to keep warm when the lack of sun made the temperatures decline to near freezing and because they only had one filthy mattress for a while, when they lived in that pathetic shack together. Ever since they had come to the surface, they had been in their own quarters, as was expected of them.
Pausing for only a second longer, (Y/N) nodded. She saw Levi swallow, his Adam’s apple bobbing, and chose to ignore it as she made her way to the other side of the bed, not wanting to think about him being as nervous about this as she was. She needed to comfort him right now, not let her stupid feelings get in the way. She needed to be focused, not flustered.
Levi shifted over slightly to give her more room as (Y/N) lifted up the covers on her end and slid into the bed beside her best friend, laying back into the pillows. She expected him to roll over onto his side and slowly fall asleep like she knew he usually did. Or she expected him to lay on his back with his arms behind his head, his eyes closing gently as she turned away from him. It was how they had slept in the Underground when sharing a mattress together.
What she did not expect was for Levi to immediately throw his arms around her, hugging her close and pulling her to him, burying his face in the curve of her neck while his arms squeezed her tightly.
(Y/N) gasped loudly at the sudden action, her face flushing despite her attempts to cool the flames in her cheeks. Her heart was thumping wildly in her chest, something she knew he felt as the corners of his mouth twitched upward, his face snuggling even closer to her. Her breathing was erratic as she felt his own warm breath fanning out over her neck as it slowed and evened out. She realized a few moments later that he had finally fallen asleep.
(Y/N) could still feel the shock coursing through her, but she managed to calm herself down enough to gently run her fingers through his hair, the strands now silky and unbelievably soft after his shower.
It was relaxing, (Y/N) realized, comforting her hurting friend, as she watched him in wonder while he slept against her. She had always been closer to him than almost anyone on the planet, but even then she had never been this close, physically and emotionally. He had never cuddled up to her before and vice versa.
It was just a line they had never crossed, not wanting to make the other feel uncomfortable or ruin the strong friendship they had with each other despite the growing feelings they had for one another, merely dancing around their relationship as they ignored the pulls of their hearts.
Now, (Y/N) wondered if this wasn’t opening some sort of door for them, as her eyelids grew heavy and she started to yawn. Eventually, (Y/N) completely relaxed against Levi, sighing in bliss as she cuddled up to him, feeling him just barely squeeze her tighter as she lost consciousness.
______________________________
Levi groaned softly as the light attacked his face, his silver eyes blinking open and squinting at the window where the shades had been left open, the sun streaming into his room in bright beams. Grumbling in annoyance, Levi went to turn so he could slide out of bed and shut those damn blinds when he suddenly realized… he couldn’t move. Glancing down, Levi’s eyes widened in surprise for a moment before he remembered the events of the night before as he stared down at his best friend.
(Y/N) was still fast asleep, her chest rising and falling rhythmically as she breathed deeply. Levi’s mind replayed what had happened last night. He had felt so lost, so empty inside. He had never felt that way before, like he wanted to give up. The closest he had ever gotten to that point was when his mother had been ripped away from him at four years old, not knowing what to do at such a young age other than wait to die.
But the grief, the hopelessness, the depression that had piled up on him, it wasn’t just from the death of his squad, it was the result of years and years worth of loss. He had just lost all control, both of the situation and himself, and had fallen so far off the edge he hadn’t been able to pull himself back out again, not like he had done in the past.
And then there was (Y/N). The shining light to his world, the one who threw a rope around his waist and tugged, bringing him back from the sorrow and the darkness and the demons. She had lost so much too, her own friends being ripped away from her, her family reduced to none other than himself. The world had been just as cruel to her as it had been to him. He remembered now that Petra had been a good friend of (Y/N)’s, the two often bonding while they rode their horses on the trails around headquarters.
And she had still been the one to bring him back. To save him. He felt like he had just been pulled back from death, yanked back into the brightness of life by the one person who had never left him, the one who refused to.
His eyes roved over her sleeping form, really took in everything about her. He smiled, genuinely smiled with something wicked playing on his lips as he caught sight of her wearing nothing but his shirt and her flimsy underwear, but he forced himself to behave and move on from that fun little detail.
He took in the way her (h/l) (h/c) hair splayed out across the pillows, the way her soft skin seemed to almost glow in the early morning light. She looked so peaceful, her face curled into his chest, her hands balled into fists in between their bodies, her leg thrown over his waist like she owned it, her body naturally tilted so that she was almost sprawled across him.
Levi used the arm that was still loosely wrapped around her to softly run his fingers up and down her spine through his shirt, his other hand coming up to run through her locks. He grunted a little at how fucking soft her hair was and suddenly seemed to realize how good she smelled, how smooth her skin was, how fucking gorgeous she was, cuddled up to him as she slept, how shockingly beautiful her sharp (e/c) eyes were…
Levi jolted a little when he realized she was staring at him, her (e/c) eyes blinking owlishly a few times. Levi coughed awkwardly and removed his arm from around her as she moved to stretch.
“Good morning,” (Y/N) rasped as she stretched, her eyes closing at the satisfying pop of her shoulder blades.
“Morning,” Levi said gruffly, his husky voice sending shivers down (Y/N)’s spine.
“So… sleep well?” (Y/N) asked, obviously trying to diffuse the awkward atmosphere that had suddenly sprung up without their permission.
“Best I’ve had in years,” Levi answered honestly, smirking a little when (Y/N) whipped around to look at him.
“Really?” She asked in awe.
Levi nodded before reaching out and touching the back of her hand with the tips of his fingers.
“(Y/N), what you did for me, last night, um, thank you,” Levi said, his eyes drifting from hers in uncharacteristic embarrassment as he spoke. (Y/N) could’ve sworn some color even stained his cheeks.
He wished he could say more, damn him for being unable to express his feelings like a normal human being, but he figured he had gotten the point across when he looked into her face once more.
Smiling brighter than the sun, (Y/N) couldn’t help herself as she swooped down and kissed him on the lips, relishing in the warm, soft feel of them before pulling back. Her smile turned sultry then, as she caught sight of his shocked face and darkened eyes, his hair mussed from sleep and his body still only consisting of a pair of boxers under the sheets. She thought he looked absolutely delicious.
Levi’s eyes darkened further when he saw that sultry expression, the wicked light in her eyes as she stared at him. Suddenly, his heart was a roaring inferno in his chest, calling out for her as he let his gaze roam over her possessively, his own smile filled with a dark promise as he took in the sight of her wearing his shirt and almost nothing else, unashamedly this time.
“Anytime, Ackerman,” (Y/N) said, before the pair attacked each other, eager to get lost in each other, to forget the pain, and to start a new beginning, together.
~~~
A/N: I got the idea for this story from the book Crescent City by SJM. The story I wrote is original, but you will notice some similarities from a certain scene if you’ve read that book so I just wanted to mention it. This story is all my own but the idea was sparked from that novel.
(That book is fucking fantastic btw if you haven’t read it yet. Anything by SJM is amazing, but this one is one of my favorites, so quick plug for her books if you don’t already read her shit. 😂)

Part 2 of my really long oddly specific levihan now family fic no one asked for
(part 1 is right here)
Context for this: I'll be using Sophie's (aka drinkyourfuckingmilk) levihan children ocs, but made a few tweaks (here's more info on Samson and Leelu here)
Their personalities are still the same (well, I might tone down their crackhead-ness just a bit) the only difference is their birthdays, and instead of being 1 year apart, they're a few minutes apart, and Samson is the oldest twin by 5 minutes XD.
So...this is going to be REALLY long so be prepared for that.
Ok enjoy!
- Levi came up with the name Sam but Hange thought it sounded basic, so she came up with Samson.
- Levi also came up with Leighla, and then Hange started calling her Leelu as a nickname.
- Samson was a pretty loud baby as Leelu was pretty quiet, however she does get aggressive.
- Leighla once almost slapped Levi in the face when she was hungry.
- Samson makes weird noises whenever Levi is around, and he look at him confused, which made Samson giggle.
- Hange and Levi switch nights to watch over the twins.
- I can imagine Levi singing them to sleep and it actually works.
- Sometimes, Hange would watch from the door.
- Hange would ramble on and on about her experiments to the twins, despite Levi telling her they're not going to get it since they're babies and to at least wait until they can talk.
- When they take the twins outside, Samson would look around the environment they're in, meanwhile Leighla sleeps.
- Hange's parents came to visit to see the twins and offered to babysit them since Levi and Hange looked like they haven't slept, so they let Hange's parents babysit them as they catch up on some sleep.
- Kuchel and Kenny visited at one point to see the twins as well, and Kenny almost dropped Samson bc Samson wanted to be tossed.
- Levi was pissed but held back bc his mom, Hange and the twins are there, however, he didn't let Kenny carry him for awhile.
- The twins took a liking to Erwin, Mike, Nanaba, Moblit, Nifa, Farlan and Isabel.
- Samson and Leighla would sometimes pull on Isabel's pigtails.
- They also pulled Mike's hair and Leighla would lightly slap his face. Levi was amused by this.
- They were surprisingly calm when Erwin and Farlan held them. The twins would just stare at them and then lay on their shoulder.
- Nanaba played peek-a-boo with them and they seem to enjoy it.
- Moblit was a bit hesitant holding the twins, but they took a liking to him bc they started giggling.
- Samson took a huge liking to Nifa.
- Levi didn't feel comfortable with the twins around the 104th squad until they could stand (at least) bc he's afraid either they'll break the twins or the twins will break them.
- Mikasa asked about meeting the twins when she was helping out at the tea shop and went home with Levi to see them.
- Mikasa let out a soft smile as the twins started babbling to her and tried to touch her hair.
- She would try to get them to say her name but failed every time.
- Both Samson and Leighla are pretty active babies. Once they were able to crawl, they would crawl all over the house to the point where Hange would chase after them (she had fun chasing them around though and would praise at how active they are).
- Levi definitely baby proofed the house (and the tea shop)
- Once Hange was able to go back to work, Levi would take the twin to the tea shop to watch over them. They would be in the playpen in his office.
- Petra, Olou, Eld, Gunther, and Eren played with them a lot and gave them a lot of attention.
- As they were nearing their first birthday, the twins learned how to walk (or waddle) .
-Levi would watch them from afar in strict dad mode (aka how he usually is) but later eased up a bit.
- He gave the 104th kids a VERY stern warning to behave (specifically warned Jean, Eren and Connie), be gentle with the twins and made sure that their hands are clean.
- Samson loved the attention he was getting, meanwhile Leighla felt a bit overwhelmed until Armin carried her, she started to feel at ease.
- They occasionally enjoy Connie's silly peek-a-boo face.
- Sasha ate their baby snacks "on accident."
- Jean and Eren would bicker who the twins likes more, but turns out they like Armin, and Mikasa the most.
- Sometimes Ymir and Historia will join the 104th squad and play with the twins.
- Marco sometimes like to watch them crawl around and they'd chill on his lap sometimes.
- One time, Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie came into the tea shop and at first, they were confused on what's going on until they saw everyone was playing with Samson and Leighla.
- Samson and Leighla saw Bertholdt and started making grabby hands towards him.
- Bertholdt was a bit nervous, but held them anyways.
- When Bertholdt tried to give them back, they would NOT let go.
- Leighla did not like Annie. She got pretty aggressive when Annie tried to hold her at one point.
- Samson would poke Leighla repeatedly on her face to get her reaction until one time he accidentally poked her eye. She started to cry out of pain and then punched Samson in the face and he started crying.
- You can imagine how that went for Levi and Hange.
- Leighla and Samson were playing with the 104th squad and Leighla wanted Armin to carry her so her first word was Armin.
- Mikasa totally wasn't salty about that.
- The whole squad was freaking out and Armin felt honored.
- Leighla felt proud of herself.
- Levi was about to tell everyone to keep it down, but when he heard Leighla say her first word, he felt so proud of his little girl. He didn't show it, but when he took her to his office to feed her, he softly smiled at her and basically had a little father-daughter bonding time.
- Hange basically twirled her around screaming how she can now talk and smothered her with affections.
- The family was walking in the park, with Hange carrying Samson and Levi carrying Leighla. Samson spotted a butterfly and pointed at it saying bug.
- Hange started squealing "that's my boy!" and then gave a huge lecture on butterflies.
- Even though Samson has no idea what the heck she's saying, he seemed interested.
- Levi sighed, but gave Samson a soft smile and a pat on the head.
Toddlers- 4 years old
- They would make a mess in the living room bc they like to throw pillows at each other.
- Levi obviously scolded them and taught them how to pick up after themselves and where to put their toys away. Remind you they were toddlers.
- At least they learned where to put their toys and didn't scatter them onto the floor.
- They LOVE listening to Hange ramblings, especially Samson.
- She made bedtime stories more interesting, the twins looks forward to that.
- Levi would cuddle them close and listens to Hange telling them bedtime stories.
- Leighla really likes fairy tale stories, I would say her favorite would be Cinderella.
-Idk why, but I feel like Samson would like Alice in Wonderland, actually, they both like Alice in Wonderland.
- Hange would tell them the Grimms brothers version of the fairy tale classics, and although they were fascinated by it, in the long run.....that wasn't a good idea.
- Levi told Hange she shouldn't do that, but ofc, she didn't listen (spoiler, he gave her the "I told you so" look after an incident later in the future)
- Things started getting really busy at the tea shop, so grandma Kuchel would watch over them and they LOVE her, she's so sweet. She would tell them Levi's childhood stories.
- Isabel once babysat them and it was pretty chaotic. They made a blanket fort with her and they would cuddle up watching a movie together, it was so cute.
- Levi wasn't really happy that he's gonna have to clean that up but it was cute and the twins are in one piece so he let it slide.
- Hange took a picture.
- The twins liked riding on Mike's shoulders bc he's so tall.
- Nanaba would sometimes chase them around (idk I thought it'd be cute)
- One time, Hange brought her kids to her work and they wandered off.
- Luckily, Moblit found them in the lab staring at Hange's guinea pigs, Sawney and Bean.
- Moblit took them out for a bit so they can hold them.
- Hange came barreling into the lab out of breath and panicking to Moblit that she can't find the kids, only to find them playing with Sawney and Bean and Moblit.
- Hange ended up rambling about Sawney and Bean to the kids and went into too much detail.
- Nifa saw them playing with Sawney and Bean and decided to join them.
- When they go to the tea shop, Levi would lecture them on what rules to follow, things like not running around, disturbing the staff, steal pastries and don't exit the tea shop.
- Sometimes staff would make them iced fruit teas and give them a cookie to snack on.
- Connie would teach them how to do pranks. He had them one time sprinkle salt into Jean's tea and uhhh Jean spit it in Eren's face which resulted in a fight.
- Levi broke it up and was furious at Connie and the twins.
- He made Connie and the twins apologize and clean up the spill.
- He gave them a really strict lecture when they got home and uh, lets just say that was the first time they've seen Levi genuinely mad and it scared them a bit.
- Their punishment is to clean that they have to do house chores and help out with the tea cafe, they can't be with the 104th squad for a week.
- Hange bursted out laughing when she heard what they did, but stopped when she saw Levi wasn't happy.
- She could tell Levi had a stressful day, so she snuggled against him to comfort him.
- She saw the twins peaking from behind the entrance of the living room and called out to them to join them.
- They hesitantly went to into the living room and sat on the floor next to Hange.
- "What's wrong kiddos? Come here, don't be shy, it's just us."
- Samson and Leighla both squished each other on the left side of the couch and kinda hiding behind Hange.
- Hange picked up what's happening and brought the kids closer to them and gave them a pep talk.
- "Kids, I know you feel scared and guilty, but you know, even if you guys messed up, your dad and I still love you very much ok? And it's ok to make mistakes, it happens to the best of us, even you're perfectionist of a dad messes up sometimes, especially when we first got together but that's another story for when you kids are older. Anyways, the importance of making mistakes is that we make them so we learn from them and grow as people. And in the lab, we make mistakes or errors, but we don't give up, we learn from those errors and study past errors in order to find a way to thoroughly run an experiment and come to an accurate conclusion, there's this one experiment-"
"Hange, I think they get the point."
"Right, so in short, it's good you feel sorry for what you did, and it shows you genuinely care, but even though there will be times where we're going to have to be tough on you, we'll always love you ok?"
- Samson and Leighla apologized for their earlier actions and Levi apologized for yelling at them, and cue the sweet family bonding time on the couch.
This got way too long so part 3

Finally I can post the Rivetra oneshot commission because I had a weird problem with my account.
for @himebee-5 (I know you already read it but I wanted to post it here :))
-> Petra acting jealous when girls are talking about her captain
Petra couldn’t think properly due to the noise around her, her head ached, and she needed some fresh air. The bar was full to burst at night, and her friends Nanaba and Nifa were drinking some beer, clearly not sober anymore. Their complexion was now reddish while some incomprehensible words were coming from their mouths.
Petra was the only one that didn’t drink too much, actually she barely touched her glass. Before going to the bar with her friends, Levi went to see her and made her promise to stay sober. He couldn’t be there tonight, he said he had something important to fix. She didn’t seek more, all she wanted to do was to have fun with her friends. Yet she still found it odd, it was a break day after all...
She stood and looked for an exit downstairs. Once out, Petra felt way better and could finally breathe. She sat against the brick wall and let her head falling back. She closed her eyes a moment, but rapidly something came to disturb her tranquility. She heard familiar voices from afar, women voices.
“Did you really talk to him? Is he really grumpy as everybody say?” said one tall blonde woman.
”Yes he is, but oddly it is somehow attractive...” the second one blushed with her hands on her cheeks as to hide her face.
”Even though he’s not physically attractive, I should say that he’s quite popular because he is strong and has a high position in the military... some women could be interested?”
“Oh I don’t think so Sofia, what woman would marry someone as coldhearted as he? Have you seen how he treats his subordinates? Do you remember that young boy who has a titan ability?”
“Yeah that’s right... I heard what happened at the court... then, do you really wanna try something with him or?”
“Well, even if he’s grumpy and all, Captain Levi’s still a good choice for a woman. After all, he could provide her some protection, even if it’s not by a marriage, he still could have fun with a woman, couldn’t he?”
”Probably.”
Petra was listening to their conversation with great attention, when it was about her captain, she was immediately careful to everything that was being said. She was the loyal kind and she respected too much her captain to hide something from him but this time... she didn’t want him to be disappointed when she’d told him women in town were planning on flirting with him only by interest. She didn’t want to hurt him so she kept the conversation for herself.
Later on, after Nifa and Nanaba went home by cart, Petra stayed a little longer outside. Her joyful mood from the little party totally wiped out and she felt a disagreeable twinge in her chest.
“Who are these women?” she whispered loudly. Why did she felt that way? After all, Captain Levi is not the type to flirt with unknown people. Then why?
“Petra?” Someone caught her off guard. It was Captain Levi, he was sitting in a cart waiting for her. She didn’t even notice him.
“What are you waiting for? Get in.” he said.
She raised her hand so he can help her getting in. She sat calmly but a million of questions were turning round in her mind. She hesitated to ask him a question, the question, actually Captain Levi seemed preoccupied by something.
“Captain, may I speak?”
He turned his face to look at her.
”You don’t have to be so formal with me, you’re not on duty, aren’t you?”
“Right.. so, uhm, I thought you had some urgent matter outside the town? So...”
”Yes that’s right. Actually... something unpleasant happened...” he mumbled some insults.
“Really? Do you want to talk about it?”
His eyes crossed hers with a glimpse.
”Not really, don’t worry. Not a big deal.”
She knew Captain Levi is a man of few words, but she couldn’t stop worrying when he spoke so little, in general when it was the case it meant that something annoyed him a lot.
“Is it Eren again?” she asked with a little smile.
“Fortunately not this time. Eld and Oluo take care of him right now.”
“I don’t think Oluo’s gonna make it...” she whispered by clenching her fist.
”What?” he asked.
“Oh nothing.. and what about Gunther? I didn’t heard much about him these times...”
“Don’t worry he’s going to be fine, I sent him back home. His injuries are not so bad.”
”Great...”
They went quiet for a while, Petra didn’t dare asking him again what was the matter and Levi was too preoccupied by her reaction if she knew what happened. But he wanted to know.
“Petra, what would you said if some lad asked your hand?”
”Uh? What do mean?”
”You know, even if, you.. you didn’t have feelings for them, would you still marry someone?”
Petra felt herself blushing because she could never imagine talking about love with her Captain.
“To be honest, feelings are important to me... I couldn’t imagine marrying someone without feeling something... for him.”
Her eyes lifted up to Levi’s and he seemed to be chewing the thing over.
”The thing is, marriage’s not good in a world with titans, y’know.”
”I understand. So, can I- can I ask you who is the origin of these troubles?”
”Tch.. it’s embarrassing...”
He stayed silent but he finally answered.
”Look, you have to keep this for yourself. I swear if you don’t–”
”Captain, don’t worry!” she immediately said.
”Okay then. Well. When I arrived at Mitlas, two women came in front of me and they asked me some weird questions.”
”Like?” she asked but she knew who it was about. She felt a fire burning inside.
”Y’know, some marriage stuffs. If I would marry one of them... or some crap. Plus, they had annoying attitude.”
”And what did you do?”
”I left. Then they said I was rude, I don’t understand. That’s probably true..”
Petra began to laugh out loud, even her Captain was startled. She laughed because she found his reaction quite funny, how he felt uncomfortable with them. But most importantly, she thought her reaction, being jealous, was a bit childish of her since he couldn’t even notice any ounce of romanticism.
When the horseman stopped at Karanes, Levi helped Petra stepping out of the cart and accompanied her until her front door.
”Thank you Captain, it’s nice of you. You shouldn’t pick me up to Karanes every night you know... if it’s bothering you–”
”Don’t worry Petra. It’s not. Besides, I hope to cross path with someone actually... but he never seems to be home this late.”
”Who’s that?”
”Your father. Is he home?”
“Oh he’s never home at this hour, he’s probably helping some friends. He’s good at selling haha.”
”I see.”
Petra didn’t know what to add, she wanted to invite him in but she was afraid to bother him. He surely had more important things to do than wandering with her like that.
”Do you have some tea?” Levi suddenly asked, pointing her door with his finger.
”Uh... I think I do, do you want some?”
Now they were drinking some tea in the silence of the night. Levi had been admiring her house and complimenting its cleanliness.
Petra hold her teacup with her two hands to warm them up and she said
”You know... I’ve been thinking about what I would do after the 57th expedition. I know that it took a lot of preparations so we will have a lot of free time after that.”
Levi sipped a little more tea in her cup.
”What if... well... if we succeed this mission, do you think... we could move together?”
”How?”
”I mean, I heard you didn’t have a proper house for yourself... and sometimes when I stay in the headquarters late at night, I notice that you sleep in one of those rooms... it doesn’t seem comfy at all.”
”That’s right but I’m not complaining. I already knew even worse, you know.”
”I saved some money because I also work as a waitress in my dad’s friend bar when I have time, well maybe you don’t want to live with me or–”
”I could probably do that. I guess. But y’know how I don’t like to talk about these matters if I don’t know you’re safe. We don’t know what will happen in the future...”
”It’s about the expedition, isn’t it?”
”Yeah. You’re probably aware that you’ll be in the front lines with the rest of the squad, right?”
”I do. That’s my duty after all.”
”I didn’t tell the brat, he still think you have to watch him. If I tell him you’ve been assigned to protect him because he’ll be used as a bait, he’s gonna screw it all up. Tch.”
“That’s right, he’s a bit impulsive. He’s a child after all,” she smiles softly. Then Petra began to laugh again, Levi was wondering what was the matter with her today.
She just felt more confident as he accepted to move with her.
”Captain I think... I didn’t act well when I heard those women talking about you that way...”
”Those women? Have you met ‘em?”
”That was a pure coincidence but yes. I didn’t talk to them but I think... I was a bit jealous. The very idea of seeing them flirting with you... it’s not that I don’t want you to be happy with a wife, but I hope you’ll have someone nice. That truly cares.”
Levi stands and take the teacups to the sink.
”I know. Don’t worry about that, you can believe me when I say that as a child I learned to analyze people. I’m able to notice who cares about me.” His glare stays on her a moment.
”It’s late now, I have to go. Thanks for the tea.”
”Wait Captain... I- Promise me you are not going to take some risks during the expedition.. I’m afraid I’m not going to watch you back for long.”
“Stop talking shit, Petra. You are one of the best soldiers in the military, you’re going to do just fine. But, if anything happens... you’re aware I won’t be able to do anything this time?”
”I know, anyway my duty is to offer my heart to humanity and I didn’t enroll for pleasure. I have a dream too...”
”Don’t worry, even if it’s dangerous... this time more than ever, I will have an eye on you. I’ll be close.”
“Thank you. Well, have a good night, Captain.”
Before leaving, Captain Levi grabbed Petra’s hair softly and put a little and chaste kiss on her forehead. Petra felt herself blushing so much, that was so unusual of him. Maybe it was their last goodbye before the expedition she thought.
”You too.”

traveling companions
After giving it a lot of thought and changing my mind more than once, I decided that my central playbook character is going to be a Firelight. I also created another character, a Guardian, that is traveling alongside her. Let me tell you about them.
Kiri, the Firelight
Kiri (she/they) is a nightjar, a nocturnal bird with dark brown feathers (she has some black and light brown markings, too). She has big, shining eyes that pierce through the darkness. She wears a mud-soaked, hooded cloak and warm, comfortable leg warmers. She carries a small and practical knife in her pocket.
Kiri is an adventurous young woman who always tries to be positive, while still being a good judge of character. She knows she can’t be consistently correct or everywhere at once. Her firefly, who she named Luci, fell from the sky into her hands one night. She suspects they may not actually be a firefly, since they are miraculous. Could they be one of the Lightning Dancers?
Kiri always carries and keeps lit the rusted iron lantern her mother carried before her. She also has an empty box of expensive beeswax candles her ex-love gave her as a going away present when she left home to start her journey. She used up all the candles last Chill but kept the box as a memento.
Tumblr media
Gunther, the Guardian
Gunther (he/him) is an aging tiger. He is tall and strongly built, but is graying around his whiskers and has a quiet, studious appearance overall. He carries a sturdy cane and wears reading glasses and a cloak big enough to hide his ward. He has seemingly endless patience. Gunther is generally parental and organized. People assume he is always open-hearted and level-headed, but that is not always true.
Gunther is rarely seen without his ward, a small rabbit child named Rue. They wear a poncho the color of shadows and carry a stuffed bumble bee everywhere they go. Rue is quiet and rarely speaks, but is bright and curious about the world.
Several years ago, a mysterious stranger with one white eye arrived on Gunther’s doorstep and asked him to take care of Rue. The stranger told Gunther that Rue is the true heir to the Throne of the Floating Mountain, a secret Gunther has sworn to protect for Rue’s safety. Gunther has travelled with Rue ever since, and over time has grown to care for them like they were his own child.
Kiri and Gunther
Kiri, Gunther, Luci, and Rue have been traveling together for a few months. I answered these questions about their friendship in character. Kiri is red and Gunther is orange.
Kiri to Gunther — Why does my firefly like you so much? When we first crossed paths, your firefly had gotten blown into a tree from a strong wind and injured its wing. I knew how to make a splint, and as we began walking together I made sure that its wing fully healed. It’s been flitting around after me ever since.
Gunther to Kiri — Do you follow through with your responsibilities towards my ward? What are they? You sometimes ask me to scout ahead for danger when we are traveling, and if we are in a town you ask me to supervise Rue while you make arrangements for us to stay at an inn or stock up on supplies. I always follow through with my promise to protect Rue and keep them safe, but I don’t always keep as low of a profile as you’d like.
Kiri to Gunther — Where do you wish I could guide you, and why can’t I? I wish you could guide me to a place that would always be safe for my ward - somewhere I could be certain that they would grow up and live a peaceful life free of danger or those that would try to manipulate them. Unfortunately, I have seen enough of the world to know that such a place does not exist.
Gunther to Kiri — Why does my ward look up to you and why does that bother me? I think Rue likes that I can fly. I see them staring up at me from the ground, eyes wide with amazement as I take in the view of a sunset or a mountain. You haven’t said it, but I think this bothers you because you feel like you have to keep Rue close to be safe. I show them that it’s ok to stand out from the crowd or go off on their own a bit, but this makes you worry.

Imagine Levi Confessing his Love for You
Tumblr media
A/N: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THE TEXT BELOW BEFORE PROCEEDING THANK YOU :))
HERE IS A TIMELINE /  EXPLANATION / BACKGROUND INFORMATION BECAUSE CASE THE TIME SKIPS OF THIS STORY ARE CONFUSING: I’m sorry for that everyone, I know the dates are sloppy and as a whole this fic doesn’t make too much sense; I tried to edit this piece as best I could to make the story as easy to follow as possible, but seeing as I can’t unpublish part 1 or 2, the cleanup still leaves things bit unclear. These imagines were originally chapters of a longer Levi x Reader fic that I decided to discontinue, which is why there are so many loose ends. Here was my original intention for this story, broken down for the few who choose to read the Author’s Notes lol.
We are going to do this in the order of the 3 part fic (I also put attached all the links to the titles)
Part 1: Imagine Relating to Mikasa About Loving Someone in the Military
The scene is set during the events of SEASON 1 of Attack on Titan, BEFORE the Female Titan Arc. (Y/N) was also hand selected by Levi to be part of the original Special Operation Squad; she bit her hand at the dinner table along with Petra, Gunther, Eld, and Oluo to show their dedication and understanding towards Eren wayyy back in the beginning of the series. The Survey Corps is making preparations for their first attempt to go to Shiganshina since the Fall of Wall Maria and not only uncover the mole who killed captive titans Sonny and Bean, but also to get to Eren’s basement.
Part 2: To Love Another
The flashback and opening scene in the beginning of this writing piece (where (Y/N) and Hange are talking to each other) occurs shortly after (Y/N) wakes up in the infirmary room, before anyone breaks the news that she, aside from an injured Levi, is the last surviving member of Squad Levi after Annie killed the others in the Forest of Giant Trees in her female titan form. Hange’s intentions were to bring the (Y/N) and Levi together so they would be able to support each other during this mutual loss. But alas, (Y/N) accepts his rejection and the two suffer the aftermath of this tragic news alone. To read this arc for context/bonus content to get a better understanding of this mini series, see my posts (as a sort of prequel, if you will) Imagine Levi Finding you Injured on an Expedition and Imagine Being the Last Member of Squad Levi To Survive to fill that time gap :)
In real-time, all of Season 2 and Season 3 Part 1 have gone by with limited interaction between (Y/N) and Levi. This part of the story is occurring during Season 3 PART 2, (spoilers) after the Coup D'etat, and after Historia becomes Queen. (Y/N) is no longer an active soldier, having sustained injuries too severe to be reliable in combat. She remains useful to the Corps as a battle strategist, however, which allows her to stay. The Scouting Regiment is currently preparing to go to Eren’s basement in their second attempt, knowing Reiner and Berthold will be waiting for them there.
Part 3: Imagine Levi Confessing his Love for You (YOU ARE HERE)
This part takes place pretty much a week or so after the events of “To Love Another.” It is revealed how much (Y/N) has isolated herself in the months between Parts 1 and 2 from not only Levi, but Hange, the only one besides Mikasa who knew about her feelings for Levi prior to their falling out. (Y/N) confesses her feelings for Levi before the mission to Shiganshina in Season one, and the fic parallels itself and comes full circle once their final interaction occurs before the second and final mission to Shiganshina, for which, (Y/N) is unable to go for her death would be almost certain. She seen to be more valuable inside the walls, where she can carry on the duties of the Survey Corps should the entire regiment collapse during the mission. This is the final part :)
I HOPE THAT CLEARS THINGS UP!
requested by @a-single-uwo @dracq and @little-diva-gurl and a lovely anon who def isn’t the happiest that this took so long. Deepest apologies! Hope this was worth the wait. I also hope this post finds everyone safe and in good health during these crazy times <3
~~~~~
Dread bottled up in the bottom of your stomach, which threatened to fall down to your knees. Even Hange’s eyes brimmed with concern when she informed you that Levi requested your presence in his office; all of which was out of the blue, uncharacteristic, after months of him being accustomed to giving you your space.
Feigning annoyance, you stared at the soldier dummy two paces ahead, dented heavily with the marks of your punches. The sun was beating down on the early autumn day, and heat waves rose from the ground. It illuminated the glistening perspiration sliding down your figure, torso rising and falling in short breaths of exhaustion.
Hange watched you carefully from a distance. She noticed your tense muscles, clad in a sports bra and boxing shorts; the lack of attire made it impossible to hide the sudden tension and stiffness embedded in your lean muscles, a tell tale sign of distress. As a creature of observation and analytics, the Squad Leader could sense your discomfort as if it was written across your forehead.
The brunette watched you wipe the sweat off your forehead and yell in frustration, turning towards her direction and moving to land a kick at her head.
Unfazed and in possession of sharp reflexes, Hange took a step back, only to watch as you twisted mid-air and landed a 360 Crescent kick to the dummy-shaped bag, which broke open on impact under the force of the blow. Sand poured out of its opening and spilled onto the ground in a steady stream that grew less heavy as the seconds passed.
“I’ll have to admit, you are getting better, but (Y/N), don’t get your hopes up,” Hange cautioned. “The problem does not reside in your muscles. No matter how well you learn to fight like you used to, Annie crushed your ribs and threw you to the ground: it's your lungs that will never recover. You can’t come with us to Shiganshina tomorrow like this.”
Hunched over with hands on your knees, you regained a regular breathing pattern and began to feel the explosive pain in your chest. Airways blocked, you began coughing, willing the oxygen to enter your body.
“Let me humor myself, Hange-san. If I don’t try, I might go insane.”
It was almost tragic that such a young soldier was out of commission; you were full of promise, rivalling Mikasa in skill. Hange knew you were itching to do what you trained for your whole life: Coming to Shiganshina and putting it all on the line had always been your number one goal. You didn’t want to be left behind again, to die bitter and alone without the only people you cared about.
“Regardless, (Y/N), you’re stalling,” Hange smoothly shifted the topic of conversation back to what brought her to you in the first place. “He still has that power over you, huh?”
"It'll pass eventually," you sighed, hoping the words were true.
You bowed towards the tall female. She smiled in return, shaking her head softly.
Whilst pacing away, said person stopped you once more.
“(Y/N). For what it’s worth, I stand by what I said before. Don’t look so nervous, okay?”
Her words replayed in your head, a haunting ghost of the not-so-long ago past. Time was strange, that way. It seemed like everything happened yesterday yet in another lifetime, all at once. “He loves you, more than he’s ever loved anyone. Surely you know that.”
Stupid, you thought, how I might have believed it once.
As you made your way down the hall, numbness crept into your body once again. You were too proud to admit you were afraid, especially with the Section Commander’s radiating sympathy, but everyone knew the once friendly dynamic between you and the Captain transformed into one more distant and cold. With each step towards the door, you felt the icy chill grow and that fact alone shook you to the core.
But it didn’t matter, seeing as Levi was of superior authority. There was no way around it.
Your hand shook as it raised to knock.
~~~~~~
“Name and business,” Levi spoke, voice muffled by the closed door.
“It’s (Y/N), sir. I was hoping to speak with you.”
There was a pause, and in that time you considered the option of fleeing back to your room and retreating back to a life of emotional safety, normality. It wasn’t too late to forget.
It had been a week since you spoke to Mikasa on the rooftop, after realizing the deep shit your heart decided to put you in. You didn’t think Levi would notice the distracted nature of your behavior-- tried to make it as subtle as possible whilst you figured out what you felt for him.
But before you could explore other options, Levi muttered a stern “enter.” You knew with the first expedition back to Shiganshina tomorrow, and the prospect of death closer than it has ever been on a mission, it was now or never.
The room was dim, small, warm, and thick with building tension. Shadows danced across the Captain’s face, sharp features lit by an orange flame. Only candlelight, sourced at his desk, assisted your adjusting eyes.
Your nose was hit with the smell of tea and cleaning products upon entry. This fact made you smile despite your bundling nervous energy. It was a familiar place, filled with memories of late night conversations (granted, of mostly you speaking and him listening), witnessed only by the large piles of paperwork. It started here and resulted in a natural, growing fondness kept secret to all except you two and the moon looking in from the window.
This man was your squad leader, your commander, your trusted comrade. There was no need to be afraid-- Not unless of course, you held the potential to shatter such damn a delicate relationship.
And you did.
Was it worth it?
Your gaze gravitated towards the center of the room where the Lance Corporal sat. And in that instant, your smile evaporated instantly. He placed his pen down, gracefully resting his cheek on his fist and lazily tossing the raven locks out of his eyes-- they landed on you, piercing yet drowsy and indifferent upon first glance. He was beautiful, as always. The allure was nearly sickening; unfair to the rest of the world.
Looking closer, however, he was anything but relaxed. The observant eye could see his countenance stirred something different. He seemed sharp and focused, ready to dart out and wrap himself around your heart, squeezing tighter with every breath you took. And you felt it-- the heart palpitations, which got worse at the sight of him.
He seemed… different. Dangerous, like a storm stirring in the distance, and the inevitable downpour that comes with it. The dark circles under his eyes told tales about the insomnia; a fresh cup of caffeinated black tea even rested on his left, steam rising out of it. And whilst attraction was undeniable, your concern always came first.
Levi was never quite good at getting proper rest before a mission.
“(Y/N),” The word was breathy, yet his voice was rough.
You shuffled in your spot, your name on his tongue making your stomach churn with desire.
Levi seemed to pick up on your affliction, getting out of his chair and gliding towards you. Everything happened fast and slow all at once, starting off with a momentaneous rush of air and  the collision of your back with the office wall. A small shriek filled the air, out of place against the silence; was that your voice? The pain should’ve been there, but it wasn’t.
Then the seconds dragged out. Levi was a new person, setting your skin aflame as he gripped your wrists and pinned them against the wall. His lips brushed your eartips, which turned red the instant the raven’s breath fanned over them. This normally reserved, disciplined man unleashed something you had never seen before.
“Finally ready to talk to me about why you’ve been acting so strange, brat?” he whispered.
This wasn’t supposed to be so dirty. He was angry, but the mood was established in layers: something more sinister existed beneath.
The scent of fresh pine filled your nostrils until your brain went foggy. Levi was close--so close, and with the fact that you’ve been avoiding him mixed in with the fact that you missed him for it, all bets were off: there was no stopping the words that came out of your mouth next.
“There’s something I need to tell you,” you whispered back, looking him dead in the eyes, no fear this time.
His grip on your wrist slackened.
“Hm?”
You took in a deep breath, ready to leave it all on the line, and spoke.
“I like you a lot, sir. And not in a comradery type of way. I-I just thought I’d tell you before, you know, we leave tomorrow.” Your gaze found the floor again, too timid for your own good. But the statement was said, and it was finite; there was no turning away from it.
The Captain’s eyes went wide and gleamed brightly at you. His chest felt lighter and as he looked down at you in speechless awe, staring at anything but his face in your adorable embarrassment, he realized exactly why your absent look irked him those days ago. Why your lack of enthusiasm and lighthearted-ness gave him a strange sense of frustration.
Levi never felt more awake, more hyper aware of his surroundings.
The feeling of your chest pressed against him, the heat of those rosy cheeks, the pounding within his ribcage, the moon hitting your pretty face. With your figure in his arms, after the blissful seconds passed, everything felt, for once, okay.
Until it wasn’t.
Gaining the courage to look back up at him, you all but tore apart at the scowl on his face as demons flitted through his beautiful brain and polluted the image of happiness. Levi grew more indignant by the second, all but throwing your arms he held back at your sides like they were poison to the touch.
Tears pooled in your eyes as the soft expression you didn’t get to see turned sour, disgusted-- the Captain’s lips curling into a snarl as he imagined what he could lose if he opened up his heart for this girl in front of him to take. The risk and pain of falling for someone, in the world the two of you lived in. And all the stoic man could think was how he allowed this charade to come so far.
No, he wouldn't allow it.
“Get out, (L/N)” he commanded, harsh and unforgiving.
You were trembling, body feeling detached from reality as it moved, convincing itself that it was simply a nightmare. Levi’s cruel demeanor all but shattered you as you looked wide-eyed and his anger grew, the short man pacing behind his desk and bringing a hand over his face. His free one crumpled into a fist, knuckles turning white as he slammed it on the wood, the loud bang making you jump; the fear, grief, confusion coming all at once until it choked you and your vision spotted black.
“I said GET OUT!”
The room stilled and Levi looked up to face you cowering near the door, a single tear rolling down your cheek. He stilled at the sight, the weight of his words dawning upon him.
“I-I’m sorry,” you gasped before racing out of the room.
Had you looked back, you would’ve seen Levi’s outstretched hand betraying his body, desperately reaching out for you, gray eyes filled with pain.
But you knew now you’d never be dumb enough to spare him that second glance-- and maybe that was the right call, seeing as his feet moved in the direction you left, only to shut the door left askew in your wake.
~~~
The Captain’s gaze was on you more than necessary, but it was clear the two of you had the same thought: You focused everything into this discussion, melting into the emotionally-detached soldier your duty commanded, just like Levi did. His words had no ulterior motive, no deeper meaning. They were monotonous and empty.
Or so you thought.
Levi stood up the second you came in, but your gaze fell to the ground in submission.
“Hange said you needed to see me, Captain?” your voice was small and weak; you kicked yourself for it. How pathetic.
“Damn you...”
The man said nothing more, brushing his fingers along your cheekbones and you everything hit you like whiplash, the memories. Levi ran them along your face, down to your chin to lift it gently, so that for once you’d let your eyes meet instead of looking at the ground like a coward.
When they did the man’s breath hitched in his throat, because although your (eye color) orbs were no longer as vibrant, they were still beautiful and entrancing; why hadn’t he ever appreciated them before?
"I missed you, brat," he spoke firmly.
You felt a churn in your abdomen as you watched his eyes study the details of your face and take in every feature, committing it to memory painfully slow. You were paralyzed, his face inches away from yours and forcing buried emotions to resurface as months of restraint came undone. He didn’t speak, holding you delicately after not being this close for far too long and discerning what he’s been missing.
“Um, Captain? What are you...?"
You bit your lip, feeling puzzled and confused as you remembered the hate in Levi's orbs the last time you saw him like this.
All you could see now was how quickly his emotions shifted from serenity to fury that fateful night, and as you recollected the way Levi lashed out, all chaos and fury, he retracted his hand.
And you flinched away.
The Captain froze.
“Don’t-- don’t fucking do that,” he growled, his urgency startling. “I would never hurt you, (Y/N).”
Your eyebrows furrowed, all inhibition thrown out the window the second Levi’s countenance flashed with hurt at your response to his touch. You let your fear go and emotions free at the irony of the raven’s statement. Your mind went into overdrive, recounting every instance you wanted to give up and leave, drown in yourself, give up on finding purpose in the aftermath of rejection and Squad Levi’s death and your permanent injury changing your way of life. Things you faced alone, because instead of rekindling any semblance of a relationship, Levi tossed everything away and berated you for feeling.
The man who resided here cut your heart expertisely like the countless swords he wielded then disposed. He did not have the right to look at you so kindly; did not have to right to fan the flames of false hope. But here he was, procrastinating until the very last day to take initiative regarding those actions.
“Why are you doing this?” you whispered, forgetting your composure.
“I’d advise you not to speak in riddles,” Levi spoke in a low and even voice, no real malice as he addressed you and tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
You took a deep breath and fought to remain calm, grabbing Levi's wrist to keep him from touching you.
“Please don’t toy with me, or mock my feelings like this. Why did you call me here? You made it plenty clear how you feel about me, Levi. What else is there to say?" you begged, the lack of closure driving you insane.
This was the first time you used his name, an unprecedented amount of spite and pain expressed through it, because you wanted Levi to remember this moment. It was over: that time of feeling sorry and ashamed of yourself for being nothing other than human. The remorse was gone, and the heartache was fleeting.
“Tell me, dammit!”
His was overflowing.
“You want to know how I really feel about you, (Y/N)!?” the Captain shouted, voice rising because for a man who relied on impulse and action on the battlefield it was fucking frustrating, watching the woman in front of him live this way for the simple reason that he was not good with words. "The thoughts that go through my head when you can't even bear to look at me?!"
"No, that's not what I asked. I already know that you don't--"
"--Fuck this."
Relying on instinct to guide him, Levi leaned forward and kissed you.
The second his lips met yours, you melted on the spot, knees giving out beneath you. Tongue sliding into your mouth, Levi simultaneously lifted you into the air, feeling lightheaded as you moaned into him, eagerly returning the kiss. His hands were everywhere, grasping at your waist, clutching the back of your head, running down your thighs. You were in such a state of euphoria that nothing else existed.
Your own digits threaded through Levi’s raven locks and pulled needily, emitting a growl from his throat as he bit down on your lower lip. He reveled in the feeling of your legs around his waist as your soft lips worked against his own, hungry and relentless. The kiss was passionate and you’d imagined it a million times over, but this-- Levi successfully ruined you for any other man.
The need for oxygen pulled you apart, Levi’s strong arms keeping you in the air as his eyes remained shut; he pecked your lips once, then twice, savoring the moment until it mournfully passed.
He was hesitant to break the silence, but you deserved it. You waited long enough to hear the truth, and he knew his time was running out; you weren’t going to wait for him forever.
“(Y/N)...” he began to speak, forehead resting on yours as he panted softly to catch his breath. “I dreamt of you last night. I have been for days.”
“Levi--”
“--Just listen,” he interrupted, unable to stop himself from kissing you softly once more. “Neither of us are running away this time.”
You fell silent as the man let you down, pulling you into his solid chest as you buried your face in his shirt, patiently listening. His calm heartbeat thrummed soothingly in your ears like a metronome.
“Isabel, Farlan, Oluo, Petra, Gunther, Eld. They all knew that what they meant to me. And I them."
One of the only things that made it easier to say goodbye, you thought with a bittersweet pang in your chest.
"With us, it's different. I died in every dream, (Y/N). Every one. And in every single one, you lived on believing I never loved you. Call me selfish, but I...”
You pulled away from the stoic man, searching his gaze as he trailed off. Shyly, you interlaced your fingers, his larger hand enveloping yours and you prayed to whoever was listening upstairs that all of this was real.
“I just can't leave until you understand...”
He clutched you impossibly tighter, eyes squeezing shut.
"...that you, are everything."
~~~ Extended Ending ~~~
A soft hum filled the air, the tune dreamy and sweet as you repeated the melody once again. You smiled warmly as hands wound around your waist, pulling you closer to a toned and shirtless Captain Levi, silken sheets tossed haphazardly on top of the two of you. His breath sent goosebumps on your neck as he kissed your shoulder gently, warmth deliciously intoxicating.
Giggling now, you turned around to face him, the man’s onyx hair ticking you softly. You captured your lips in his with one smooth movement and snuggled closer, taking in the small slice of heaven that was home in his arms, legs tangled together. Feeling unbelievably content, like your heart might burst, you leaned forward and rubbed your nose against Levi's.
Although he wasn't smiling, the look he was giving you revealed his own sensation of happiness.
“I never thought you’d be the cuddling type,” you remarked devilishly, scrunching up your nose as you teased him.
Though your tone was lighthearted, you were painfully aware that the moment was ending. You internally cursed the sun as it started to set, orange light peeking in through the window shades to signal the coming of night. Levi said nothing, looking deeply into your eyes, and like always, it felt as if he could read the contents of your soul.
But it wasn’t vulnerability you felt: on the contrary, you knew you would never find as safe a place as here. With him. Finally.
“Levi...” you swallowed, humor all but gone. “Now you have to come home.”
To emphasize your point you sat up on the bed, legs tucked neatly underneath you as you stared imperatively at your lover.
“Mhm. We’ve wasted enough time,” he agreed, taking you by the wrist to pull you back on top of him, to bask in this personal paradise if only for another minute.

Okay so I know this is a SDV Incorrect quote blog but I really wanted to show off my SDV headcanon’s so you may ignore this post if you wish (I’ll go back to the normal posts after this, I have like 13 quotes queue’d up right now)
Headcanon’s under the cut:
1.Alex’s real first name is Alexander he just prefers to go by Alex
2.Alex is a trans male so he was born female but transitioned to male at age 13
3.The bachelors ages are (listed youngest to oldest):
 Alex: 19
Sebastian: 19 (one month older then Alex)
Sam: 20
Harvey: 25-30
Elliott: 36
Shane: 38
4.Despite Sam being older then him Alex is taller (if you put them side by side Sam looks taller but that’s only cause of his hair if you flattened it you could see Alex was taller)
5.Sebastian is secretly a vampire (He does look like one anyway)
6. Haley and Alex kind of have a Hazel and Xander from Bunk’d relationship where they’re kinda friends but one of them *cough cough* Haley *cough* has a huge crush on the other to where it’s at yandere point- Haley is not QUITE as crazy about Alex that Hazel is about Xander and unlike Hazel Haley can hide the craziness she does have around people but when it’s just her and Alex she’s all crazy and clingy-
Like, she’ll call him pet names like “My jock prince” or “Alex-zandy-” or “My knight in shining armor” Etc. etc- or hug him and never let go until someone LITERALLY prys her off- Talk about nutty nutty nut-so-
7. My headcanon voices for the bachelors are: (Well some of them, if a name is in strike through that means I don’t have one for that one- yet)
Alex: Shining Armor from MLP
Sebastian
Sam: Rottmnt Leo/2020 Sonic the Hedgehog/Dewy from Ducktails (this one might change)
Harvey: Fozzie Bear (Harvey: WaKa WaKa (I’m sorry))
Elliott: Gunther from Shake It Up
Shane
8.Shane is basically the god of chickens he’s such a good caretaker of chickens that he could summon an army of chickens to peck the eyes out of everyone in town with one “Babock” CHICKEN ARMY!!
If you decided to read this post and you liked my headcanons then this is it for now more might be added later as I play the game and scroll through the SDV tags on Tumblr more
EDIT 1: More headcanons!:
9: Elliott is an amazing actor but a horrid horror-movie actor (It’s just his screams are unrealistic he will literally just say “Aaaah” otherwise it’s the same as the rest of his acting) (This scream-glitch is an easy fix if you yell “Ghost” more on that in 10)
10: Elliott is TERRIFIED of ghosts even those cute and/or clearly fake ghosts (Why else do you think Spirits Eve/Halloween has Skeletons every year and not ghosts? No one wants to scare anyone Too bad.) Actually Alex dared Elliott to watch the Disney Junior show Vampirina which went fine until Demi came on screen- Elliott literally wet himself and screamed for 3 whole hours- (Poor Alex who had to listen to that the whole time-)
11: Elliott treats his pocket crab as his ACTUAL son, not as his pet but as his actual biological son (it’s actually really cute)
12: The portraits in this video for a portraits mod is how the characters actually look to me (Excluding Elliott Sam and Sebastian they still live in my brain with their cannon looks): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmBW8BzSZpU&list=WL&index=1&t=5s
13: Krobus is Sebastian’s father (yeah you THINK it would not make sense along with Hc numb.5 but if you think about it if his father is a monster and his mother is human he’s gonna be born as a human-looking monster! Which is a Vampire!)
EDIT 2: Damnit. I was scrolling through this and I realized I missed a Hc and it slipped through the original post and the EDIT 1!
14: Alex has Dyslexia (this bugger Hc belonged in the original post but it slipped through both edits)
EDIT 3: MORE HEADCANNONS-
15: Both Abigail and Sebastian used to have hair to match their parents (Abby’s was brown (Like said in game) and Sebastian’s was Ginger) but due to their “Unusual” parents (Abigail: Wizard Sebastian: Krobus) their hair changed color when they got older and their mothers just pretended they died their hair so both the towns people and Abigail and Sebastian themselves would not freak out
16: Sebastian has snake bite piercing's but he only wears them when he’s alone (he got them in the first place cause 1: Sam dared him and 2: he decided it would be a fun way to rebel against dead to Sebastian Demetrius, he didn’t have to keep them but he ended up liking the look)
17: Sebastian owns a giant frog plush, it’s twice the size of him, is really soft and is incredibly fat (it’s to the point it’s just a circle that has stubby legs) he loves it more then anything Excluding Alex but he does not want anyone finding out he loves it let alone owns it so he stuffs it under his bed when people are in and/or near his room
18: Sebastian’s first word was literally “Froggy”
Ex:
Robin: Can you say “mama”?
Baby!Sebastian: ...Froggy!
Robin:
Robin: Out of all words your first word is “Froggy”? Really?
19: The shortest to tallest Bachelors are:
Shane
Sam (If you take his hair and go *Squishes flat*)
Alex
Sebastian
Sam (If you count the added height from his Mullet)
Harvey
Elliott (Tall stinky sea dude)
20: Sam got Sebastian to scream “Bubbles” for 5 hours straight
Details on that:
Sam: It’s impossible to say “Bubbles” threateningly
Sebastian:
Five munities later:
Robin: Uhhhh Sam? Why is my son on the roof screaming “BUBBLES”?
21: Sebastian owns a biker jacket but he only wears it when riding his motorcycle cause the jacket makes him look way more goth then emo and he prefers the emo look over goth look despite he acts more like a goth
22: One Feast of The Winter Star Sebastian got everyone an empty box and when they opened it Seb said: “It’s a void of nothingness. Just like life.” He did not get in trouble or nothing cause your allowed to give what you want but he did not do that again
23: Sebastian requires glasses to read, he can see perfectly but when it comes to reading on a computer or on paper he needs glasses
24: Sam does a perfect Darth Vader voice and Darth Vader breathing noises
25: Sebastian has vampire powers (cause he is a vampire (Hc 5)), he knows about them and is chill about it but he does not use them unless necessary cause he just does not feel the need to use them otherwise (His powers include, immortality (he also can’t be killed cause on my take on Vampires the stuff that “Traditionally” harms/kills them is just a mith and actually does nothing to them), super strength, increased speed, fast self-healing, telekinesis (I know this is not “Traditionally” a vampire power but Seb does have it) and the ability to change into a bat)
26: Both Sebastian and Elliott are actually pretty jacked (Not Alex level jacked but still) you just can’t see it unless they’re shirt-less (but in Seb’s case at least loose the hoodie)
27: Harvey’s doctor’s mallet weapon is just as heavy and as big as himself so he rarely goes into combat cause he has trouble welding his own weapon-
Harvey: Time to explore the mines! *grabs his giant doctors mallet*
Harvey: Nope going down. *falls backward with a thud*
28: Elliott carries at least one very sharp pencil with him at all times so if he sees a very annoying person or a slime that escaped the mines he’ll grab it and go *StAb*
29: Everyone else makes Hermit jokes around Elliott which he finds funny and annoying at the same time (They used to do the jokes about Sebastian as well but they stopped cause when they did Seb strangled them Darth Vader style) Ex of the hermit jokes:
*singing* Someone’s on the beach with a hermit! There’s a hermit on the beach I know I know! Someone’s on the beach with a hermiiiit! And the hermit’s name is Elliott!
30: If you think Elliott’s cannon SDV schedule is anti-social you should see how anti-social he gets when writing a book-
EDIT 4: Surprise, there’s more
31: Elliott is a mermaid merman (he’s a human by day half human half fish by night but he’ll change forms sooner if you dump water on him- found that out by Haley throwing water on him in hopes he’ll melt-)
32: When in ‘fish’ form Elliott’s tail is incredibly strong (if you get hit by it you’ll go flying 900 feet in the air in 5 seconds at full strength)
33:Elliott only lets Harvey call him “Elly” if anyone else does so expect Elliott to dump water on himself then hit you with his fish tail)
34:Vincent will sing The Little Mermaid song “Under the sea” around Elliott and Sebastian (Sebastian cause think about it and Elliott cause he’s an IRL Mermaid)
