You can feel Rintaro’s betrayal fixated on the side of your head as you stand as still as possible, your posture comfortable as Rintaro’s couldn’t be farther from it.
It wasn’t your fault he picked trash day to do arms at home, nor was it your fault he decided that today was a good day to up the weight. It couldn’t be less your problem, that now he has to stand for an undetermined amount of time holding the weights in his hands, you’re just grateful you saw this on TikTok before he did.
“I hate you,” he repeats, and you tuck your lips in to hide your laughter. “I will kill you. I will leave your body out by the trash. You hear me? You’re dead.”
“How’re you going to kill me?” You egg him, and he lets out a hiss of rage.
“I’m going to pin you down and tickle you to death,” he snarls. “Or fart on your pillow and gas you. The most unfortunate of deaths.”
“Well you’d better make it soon,” you tease. “Because it seems like you’re about to move.”
“I’m not about to move, you’re about to move,” he clenches.
You’re not wrong. In your peripheral, his arms start to tremble and his body sways, eye twitching and face turning as he starts to lose it, lose comfort and let his entire body slip, his arms quickly putting down the weights.
“Hate you!” He calls, immediately making a dart at you to scoop you up and throw you over his shoulder. You flail your limbs and laugh as a means to egg him on, arms instinctively wrapping around his waist as he flips your world upside down.
Caring about animals is an emotional outlet for Ukrainians
Ukrainian military provides shelter to any animal. A soldier of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade rescued two baby boars in the forests of Kharkiv region. Their mother and three other cubs were killed by shelling. The rescued animals were named Tisha and Tosha. The boars turned out to be very affectionate. They even learned to obey commands.
- Tosha - in the trench!
- They are digging a trench, looking for miners.
A fighter with the call sign "Sladkiy" took in a Red Book peregrine fox. The animal received the call sign "Soledar". The soldier jokes that his pet also wears a pixel. The kid turned out to be very active and playful. In times of danger, Soledar hides in his rescuer's pouch. The rest of the time he explores the trenches.
A soldier with the call sign "Bob-Ukrop" brought a raccoon to his unit. The soldiers named their new comrade Slavko. Slavik loves tasty treats. He jokingly calls the four-legged friend a raccoon assault dog. The mischievous fellow keeps things in order in the dugouts. In his free time, Slavik washes his favorite toy.
Ukrainian military often feeds wild animals. They even rescue them from traps. Four-legged animals easily make contact with the military. After all, animals always feel good hands.

Value your life, the best of us pay the highest price for it
Denys Zelenyi, a soldier of the Bureviy National Guard Brigade, died at the front yesterday.
He used to work as a manager at the Honey confectionery chain. You may remember him from the video "Do you spik paskas [bake Easter bread]?" that went viral.
2021:
- Do you bake Easter bread?
- Yes, I bake!
2022:
- Do you bake Easter bread?
- Yes, I bake and russians too.
2023:
We baked, are baking, and will continue to bake.
2024:
I'm baking, dear, I'm baking!
That's how he will be remembered for his humor. He left behind a lot of beauty in our history.
Denys Zelenyi is also the author of the famous photo of Serebryanyi Forest, where fierce fighting is taking place.
You could remember it from posts comparison to burning down forests in France in the period of World War I.
Eternal honor to the fallen hero.
A very cool guy died today. A warrior, a confectioner, a psychologist, a pro.
Denys Zelenyi. We have known each other since the days of the Military Institute, when we studied at the university.
He knew how to support people. He knew how to inspire. He knew how to give strength.
Denys served in the Bureviy unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.
