Confession: I have never read any Percy Jackson anything. I have no idea what the rules are, and I don’t care I just want more Hades’ daughter Lilith and Athena’s daughter Beatrice

oh i love love love writing Lilith as a daughter of Hades and Bea as a child of Athena. the parallels of Lilith belonging to death, the fact that she is a girl full of ghosts with a certain monstrous aspect, but also despite her best efforts she’s so so incredibly kind (everyone say thank you mary and shannon).

she probably definitely plays fetch with Cerberus when she’s in her cringe hell-hovel marinating after a month of deeply self-loathing heroism up on the surface.

and then Bea as a child of Athena 🥺 in the books a notable child of Athena has a yankees baseball cap that lets her turn invisible. smth smth beatrice making herself unseen and then stepping into ava’s light. and Athena is all cold rationality and strategy but in the books there’s a certain unhingedness to her children as well and it’s 😌 so extremely beatrice. she has weird girlfriend vibes the whole way to the ceiling.

also you are really not alone in not knowing all the rules lmao. it’s been at least a decade since i read the percy jackson books. but when i get things wrong i, like a proper adult, pretend that i was actually being really clever

example i forgot that demigods can’t have electronics (admittedly, chapter 1 was written at 2am over an entire pot of coffee with more love than sense) because it attracts monsters but i gave lilith a phone literally to make a joke about a snake eating it. did i own this mistake and edit the fic? no. 😌

i just decided i was right the whole time actually because lilith is suuuuuch a weirdo freak she would have phone specifically to attract monsters, on purpose, to feed her specific brand of haunted by the narrative/ ‘oops i self-inflicted the horrors. will be doing it again.’

Tides and Tribulation🌊⚱ is the most recent of my Trickery AU, which is Faer's excuse for rewriting the entire Percy Jackson series, Except I Think Sally Should Take Over The World, Actually. I like this one the most since I give the characters the most autonomy. It doesn't quite beat out the baby Percy chapters in the first fic though.

Quiet! Respite! Quiet! Respite!🕷🦇 Spiderman (MCU) x DC! It's romance and it's mushy and it's tense and also so many people are dead! So many. Once I update it soon, we're about to have a little bonkers turnaround in the plot lol. Just a widdle one 🥺

The Firstborn Son. I wanted to write a traditionalish dp x dc fairy tale, and then I did. It's mostly from the POV of Batman, so if you don't know anything about Danny Phantom, great! More Woe Be Upon Ye. Features a baby Dick!Robin and a literal Baby!Damian.

Yes, Yes, Blister Pack💉👻, we've all heard of her. DCU x DP crossover. I will say that I get headaches trying to reread this though. If I reread key points I get up and walk around from how mad the plot makes me lol.

Listen. I love Drake Manor. But spot #5 goes to goo boy and the gang, and The Health and Wellbeing of Hybrid Entities👻🖤. All this boy's organs are falling out. He Needs Some Milk. He is Going Through it. Dp x Dc.

There are some other things I'm really proud of, like my Percy Jackson reworking of the Kids on Brooms tabletop roleplaying game, Kids on Pegasi, but that's technically not fic, so. I likewise couldn't find space for The Shrimp Fic. But I can only squeeze so much in one of these.

"Aelia "Ella" Carissa Jackson-Grace" Clarissa sounded annoyed as she gently placed the baby in Chris's arms. Chris gripped her tightly, trying a little awkwardly to hold her small head. His forehead seemed to be covered with perspiration, the girl was so warm and soft, fragile and for some reason her warmth seemed familiar… "I thought until the last moment that Prissy was joking when he said that he would name the baby after me," Clarissa smiled remembering how she and Percy, absorbing a kilograms of mint ice cream, half jokingly, half seriously went through the middle names for Aelia. Chris was half listening to his girlfriend [the bride-to-be, the velvet box in his pocket was heavy and so pleasant], his attention was completely stroked by Percy's newborn daughter - the folds of the blue department parted to reveal the baby's tiny face. She was angelically pretty and looked like Jason-blonde hair, face shape, nose, lips, but her forehead, chin and cheeks belonged to Percy. Chris wondered what her eyes were like, were they the color of sea waves or electric blue? As if he sensed his question, she opened her eyes and looked at him, Chris froze and he did not know if his face expressed his emotions. The girl's eyes were steel-blue, bright and calm, kind. And so familiar. He saw that look when Kore quickly kissed him on the forehead, covered herself with a veil and ascended into the palanquin. Then Alabaster and Ethan closed the silk curtains and Chris never saw her again. Chris exhaled, warmth spread in his heart and bending down, he pressed his lips to the girl's forehead. Her warmth was familiar and pleasant, the one he occasionally allowed himself to miss. "Bluebell lived a good and long life, she remembered you... she died basking in the sun and I burned her wrapped in your cardigan, the one you gave me for her". The girl cooed as if gratitude, Chris felt tears in his eyes. She really deserved a second life.

I finally gave her a full name :]

Aelia, which has Greek and Latin origin, means "sun", "sunlight", "solar heat". Her sunny name is symbolic and metaphorical - she is the sun of a new, happy and prosperous chapter in the life of her parents.

Carissa - Greek name for "belover" and "grace". It was given to her for two reasons, firstly, Jason and Percy love their daughter so much so that they even show it with her name, secondly, it is consonant with the name Clarissa - Clarissa is her godmother and Percy's close friend.

For her nickname Ella, I chose the meaning storm, and it is given to her in honor of the harpy Ella, because she is useful and valuable. Besides, she is a passionately loving aunt.

By the way, a small spoiler - part of the Delphic oracle is still with Kore/Aelia, she will begin to remember her past life and it will be Chris who will be with her and help her parents.

The level of detail in this and the word choice is amazing. I’m saying it genuinely. The build-up to Chris realizing that this was his old friend made me squeal and gasp and kick my feet like a little kid. You really are a great writer.

I love the idea of Chris and Clarisse being extremely close to Percy, Jason and their daughter even after all the time that had passed. How did you guess that I’m a sucker for Percy’s and Clarisse’s friendship? You’re in my brain by now, I swear-

I also absolutely love how Chris guides little Aelia as she grows up, mirroring the way Kore aided him in the war days. Their friendship is really special, so much so that it overcame death and fate itself. (Gotta thank Nico and Will for that) I love them so much.

Lastly, I see how much thought you put into choosing a name for her. Aelia Carissa is very meaningful and suits her well. You really love your girl and it shows :) (Are you Jason? Is her father writing this to me? /hj)

I love this AU, and I’d really be interested in finding out more about what happens to Aelia as she grows up, and how Alabaster might have ended up in the meantime how he dealt with grief, with the idea of Kore’s reincarnation being a mere promise to him. hello hello hello! I just finished binging amor lunae and amor solis and I thought I'd pop in to do a quick rant about it because I loved every bit of it so much!!

first of all, im a sucker for god aus. as a guy whose childhood was filled with nothing but Percy Jackson Percy Jackson Percy Jackson, god aus are an absolute weak spot for me. I love them so dearly, and yours was incredible.

beyond that though, I specifically LOVE the trope of the sun and the moon falling in love!! ive not actually seen anything where it actually happens (your fic was the first) but ive always been in love with the concept and your execution of it was absolutely stunning. proteus as the moon and solara as the sun worked so perfectly!

oh gosh I had so much more to say but ive lost my train of thought.

I rarely cry when I read or watch things. I don't know what it is, but I struggle with really feeling what the characters feel, and I could count the number of times a piece of media has made me cry on a hand and a half, but I was on the brink of tears practically the entire time I was reading. I don't know what it was particularly, but something about your writing style made it feel like I was transported to that world. I could feel the majesty of the heavens and the aching of both proteus and solara (and medea, im so sorry buddy) and the overwhelming love they had for one another. their willingness to give up everything just to be with one another was suffocating in the best way possible.

a lot of the time with those types of emotions, I find it unrealistic. I find it too overbearing for me to be able to actually immerse myself in them, but something about your writing made it so easy for me to understand. I felt everything they felt. I understood. of course solara would choose death over forgetting proteus. of course mumbo would give up his celestial status to be with grian. it was meant to be. they were meant to be. the stars and moon and sun all aligned in the precise way they did and the universe was created all for them to be able to love one another and it was perfect.

your playlist!! gods, your playlist was perfect. I love it when fic writers have their own playlists for their fits because it makes the experience so much better, and yours did not disappoint!! I put it on shuffle while I read. "From me, the moon" started playing when mumbo met grian for the first time in amor solis and the lyrics paired with the scene made me cry. nothing could've prepared me for how much aching I'd feel while reading it. 1,672 years and 20,064 months and 610,711 days of loss and longing and I felt it and it hurt but everything fell into place for that one moment and it was worth it.

oh gosh I could keep going forever but this got way too long. I just adore this fic with all my heart and my soul and my being. I feel like it's genuinely done something to me. it feels like something's shifted in the way I see the world, and maybe that's a dramatic thing to feel about a piece of writing about some block people falling in love, but I don't care. im in shambles. I dont know if I'll ever be whole again. im grian, having everything I could possibly want, but knowing something's inexplicably out of place. there's something wrong and no way to know what.

im not the biggest fan of scarian (im much more a grumbo guy), but I may just read your scarian stuff purely because it's your work.

I love the trope of the sun and moon falling in love so much. I think it came from the whole “character who’s the embodiment of the sun is shipped with character who’s the embodiment of the moon” concept, and grumbo fits that Very well.

but I??? 🥹 that’s such a huge compliment I’m so. uwahhh 🥹💕 I’m really glad that my writing made you feel all that <33 it’s always my goal to pull people into the worlds that I create and bring some kind of immersive feeling through my words. so knowing I managed to make you feel all that and it felt realistic is really !!!!!!!

and the playlist !!!! augh !!!! that’s the very first thing that I made for this au. it existed before amor lunae did. fun fact, I put the songs in a vague chronological order, going from when proteus and solara met, to when solara dies. I’ve written most of that au with that playlist going, and omg I could Not imagine reading those fics with the playlist going… you’re the bravest omg.

I love making playlists for my fics though :D every major au that I have has a playlist for it hehe

just the other day i was thinking about an orpheus!revali x eurydice!link au because i was listening to 'wait for me' from the musical 'hadestown'. what about a percy jackson au with revali as a son of apollo who resents link because he gets claimed by a powerful god that no one would have ever guessed would have children. i have part of a scene drafted in my informal-concepting style of a fucking writer!link x editor!revali au. i cannot stress to you enough how insane and Not Normal i am about these two, i will stretch so far to make every connection to revalink i can, i might just get a little taller!

BUT TEEHEE i'm hoping i can get That™ Revalink fic out on time for revalink week 🥺 i stopped writing it for a bit because i got some writer's block and i felt like i was putting too much Plot for a oneshot, but we'll see how it goes! i planned some other stuff based on the prompts, but with the way this semester is going, i doubt i'll be able to write full-fledged oneshots on time for each of them so i may end up just uploading them later on after the semester is over (late may, june, etc)

LOL to that last bit, idk....... i've spent so much time on stan twitter and the internet in general i've developed a very particular way of talking. i'm someone who, if you say a certain word or phrase around me enough, i'll start adding it to my vocabulary without really thinking. like the reason why i type 'not' and 'sorry' as 'nawt' and 'sawry' sometimes? my stan twitter bestie lele (i'm not gonna tag her but she's on here as well i know ur seeing this bff i love u sm). how sometimes my emoji usages are random? also partly lele and other stan twitter mutuals who liked to use random emojis that had nothing to do with the topic because it was funny. i feel like the way i type things online expresses exactly the tone and flow i would use irl too 🤞😽

you took the words right out of my mouth - i love writing roxy, camille, and jo together!! i used to have a very similar friendship dynamic as they do when i was younger, so i find myself drawing inspiration from there and overall, just knowing that three girls in los angeles are getting along with each other, being there for one another, not competing for roles or boys or anything like that, and lifting each other up is so comforting to me. shows from the btr era loved to pit girls against each other and i simply will not be standing for that... much...

(the jo leaving episode is rlly gonna kill me)

aside from that, i really love the scenes between roxy and logan! they were instant besties - he's the reason she's even involved with big time rush in the first place - and i think they compliment each other really well. they're quite similar too, i think. each have tendencies to get a bit over emotional, so they know how to calm the other one down and after being tour buddies all of summer they're pretty close. they know one another's habits pretty well now! oh, and they both love camille heheh.

of course i'd be remiss if i didn't include roxy-james on this list but tbh im not very happy with where they are right now. i've kind of dug them in a hole and pushed them both in... plus i feel like they're acting kind of uncharacteristically and i can't do much about it because of where i know they need to be... ugh! slow burns! so yeah the rames golden era is chapters 1-14ish and i've been chasing that high ever since...
