okay, this might be stupid but fig is the champion of uncorrupted ankarna right? like yes we know porter is her champion right now, he's the champion of rage, but is fig not the champion of conviction? i think this mainly because not only is fig full of conviction but this line from cassandra.

cassandra tells kristen that she already knows "her" so my brain immediately said "oh so it's fig right?" and emily fully clocked it saying "yeah he's the champion of the BAD ankarna." idk maybe this is obvious i just think it's interesting.

at one point i didn't like caduceus' epilogue, that he just stayed home for a long time and eventually travelled again and eventually calliope joined him too. but i think actually i love it. something so gentle about him returning home to a temple that was once empty and lonely but is now healing and full of family who he loves so much. and to not have anything particularly asked of him apart from tending the garden and his small routines. especially thinking about how tired and sad he is by the end of the campaign, compared to the beginning when hes so giddy to just be interacting with people and seeing things he's never seen before and to have guidance from the wildmother. and then later, after aeor and so many more horrible things have happened, he admits to calliope that its too much and the outside world is scary and big and he's so so tired and he keeps saying how tired he is. so basically ideal ending that he gets to go home and get better and heal enough to be excited when he heads out into the world again

i’m fairly sure these account for all my dailies in the last 9 days - not sure if they’re 100% chronological, but as you might’ve seen from my last post, it’s been a long september and it’s only halfway done LOL.

Fantasy Whump Scenario:

Whumper wants power.

Specifically, the powers of a certain god/goddess/deity.

Caretaker has a close connection to Deity. Maybe as a paladin or cleric-type scenario, maybe they're a demigod, but whatever the case, they can call on Deity and use their power. And Whumper knows it.

But Whumper knows that Caretaker won't willingly give into their demands. So they kidnap Whumpee, someone close to Caretaker. Not just as bait to lure Caretaker to them. But as a bargaining chip.

If Caretaker doesn't give in and give Whumper what they want... then things will look very, very bad for Whumpee.

beau got a lot of shit from the fandom for constantly poking at caleb and questioning his motives in the first half of the campaign but honestly she should get a lot more credit for it (especially from caleb fans) bc it's her pushing that forced him to be honest which made him a better person in the end

Part 1 of 2 | (Part 2)

After a surprise attack by ice mephits and a blizzard, Unavar - a 15-year-old druid in training - got separated from her supervisors. She had managed to kill the mephit pursuing her, but got grievously wounded in the process. Out of spells and wildshapes, physical weapons abandoned, she tried to find her companions again while slowly bleeding out. Stumbling, getting up again, stumbling, falling, getting up again, step by weaker step, driven forward by a single minded, terrified focus to survive. Until her legs wouldn't carry her anymore and all that was left was the storm and a numbing cold overtaking her body from inside. The mind sinking into a death spiral of fragmented hallucinations and memories with no clear line between. As fate or luck - if there's a difference - would have it, somebody else was out there and found Unavar in the very nick of time.

This is a comic for a private dnd campaign, Unavar is my character and Emery belongs to Queen-of-Chaos (not on tumblr).
