thinking abt how every spamvil hater ive seen villainizes jevil and victimizes spamton to the moon and back. like their argument against spamvil is ALWAYS, without fail, "it would hurt spamton :(" and then they have nothing to say about jevil or talk abt how jevil would hurt him somehow.

First of all idk where this weirdass villainization of jevil is coming from. People seem to think hes this irredeemable soulless clown who feels nothing and doesnt care abt anyone. Meanwhile, ingame, he literally admits he is lonely and was close to Seam in the past. Yes he needs to learn how to be serious and has a cynical view of the world, but for some reason the fandom doesnt see him as a complex and flawed character. they just decide hes too far gone and would hurt anyone he has a relationship with, including spamton.

And then theres spamton, everyone's favorite innocent angel never did anything wrong bbg apparently!! The fandom doesnt treat spamton anything like they do Jevil. They actually want good things for him, a better future, and feel sorry for him. That's not a bad thing, I feel the same, but these same people will ignore all his flaws and how literally evil he was in the snowgrave route. Spamton is not a good person. I thought this was explicitly clear in the game, but apparently bc he has sad lore spoonfed to the audience this is ignored.

In regards to Jevil, Spamton is extremely bitter and jealous of him. The only things spamton himself has said about jevil is that he wishes to "surpass" him, and that he lost to jevil's games in the past. He even admits he cheated in many of these games. Spamton is not a trustworthy person. if you havent noticed his character is literally based on scam emails. Spamton is just jealous of Jevil's happiness despite the situation theyre both in, which is understandable in a way. Still, it doesnt mean spamton is in the right for being bitter and resentful. There's no real evidence Jevil has actively hurt spamton in any way, esp not on purpose. He literally just beat him at games and is way happier than he is and he's angry about it.

People consume all this shit at SURFACE LEVEL- reminder that this is an unfinished game MADE TO BE ANALYZED- and dont look any deeper into these very complex and interesting characters. All these spamvil haters assume Jevil is just irredeemable and too far gone and find spamtons backstory depressing but dont think about what these two NEED to heal from their experiences. Having gone through similar shit, they're really the only people who could understand each other to such an extent. They both need to let their guard down and listen to each other because they can offer each other a different point of view on a similar situation, which is what the both of them NEED more than anything. Yes it would take a lot of time; these are very flawed people. But you cant just. leave them where they are right now and expect either of them to heal completely on their own. Being alone is the LAST thing either of them needs. Jevil literally admits to being lonely and spamton ACTIVELY gets worse the longer he is alone. Yes he has trust issues, but he needs to be able to open up if he ever wants to get better.

Theres also the argument of "spamton is afraid of clowns" which isnt valid anyway because i just got done explaining how even if hes afraid of opening up and being close to people, spamton NEEDS it if he wants any chance at getting better. Sometimes you have to face your fears to make any progress. Plus spamton himself has never shown any sign of fearing jevil. He's only ever regarded him with bitterness and jealousy.

HI IM AN INSANE BAXSTAN AND SWIFTIE AND UR RYT MR PERFECTLY FINE HAS IMMENSE BAXMC POTENTIAL

while i think its not Unlikely for mc to forgive baxter within the span of the dlc, i DO think theyre not given enough options to feel complicated abt it. u pretty much have to decide how to feel from the start, and arent given a lot of room to change ur mind. For example, my mc Anne is a very forgiving person, especially with bax bc she understands his need to be entertaining & liked. HOWEVER she starts the dlc off thinking "ok if hes gonna be distant i can do that" but then when he jokes with xavier shes like "well im CONFUSED now and i need answers" and shes irritated, but also still likes him. after the bowling she hugs him and is still like confused, but again likes him still. by the time shes baking with him, shes both confused and endeared with him but is kinda harsh with him, even when hes apologizing at the wedding.

All this to say; its not UNREALISTIC mc would forgive in that timespan, its just the lack of complexity mc is or is not afforded that makes it feel too fast. additionally, while u do get to be mad, theres no real moderation for it, and no way to be like "this is a start, but it will take time to trust him fully again". so yeah, it feels rushed and personally i think it was rushed to be released due to whatever reasons (either not caring abt baxter or wanting to work on olnf, who knows)

anyway, i would go on about baxters dlc and its shortcomings for hours if given a chance so for now ill just call it here <3 signed, 🌸Anon

‘uu just handing them a tablet and ignoring them is gonna damage them’ my guys, you can give kids Plenty of attention and 1-on-1 time, but theyre autonomous human beings, after a certain point they actually Need to learn to entertain themselves and this happens sooner in life than you think. most infants learn how to self soothe a little by 6 months. sometimes ur kid might Prefer to watch smth than talk to you or w/e, and its honestly not a sign ur neglecting them. its a sign ur raising them with enough care that theyre starting to want to navigate on their own. independent play is Good. its Good for them to learn their own interests and what makes them happy. sometimes kids dont WANT your attention, or cant have it at the moment. or sometimes ur kid doesnt WANT to be at walmart, and they have the right to feel upset theyre somewhere against their will, but ofc u kinda have to buy them food so they live and shit. so distracting them with smth both educational and fun, long enough to get in, do what you need to do, and get out is... is not just ‘okay’, but a perfectly healthy and responsible thing to do in that situation, instead of letting them scream and be upset just to ‘prove’ you’re the boss while you don’t give them anything to cope with besides yourself, like its a good thing for them to not form any personal soothing skills. most parents are not Forcing a tablet on their kid, they offer it as an enriching solution to unavoidable situations where they cant be directly interacting, just like the purpose of any other toy, except this one has a much more engaging interface. and uh, lbr, you can neglect a kid with any method for this. seriously, nagging them to go play outside for 8 hours every time they annoy you can be just as neglectful for them, and make them feel just as ignored and rejected and under stimulated as it could be to leave them with a tablet for that long. and dont even get me Started on special needs kids who might need devices to cope even from a young age bc i just fuckin......... please fucking listen. im not exaggerating or playing devils advocate for fun here. the assumptions abt this are truly miserable.

sorta a vent post but i have been awake since four am after getting like no sleep and i decided to look at my moms old facebook (she died when i was at a psychward last october) and seeing all the fucking posts about how she was a great person and loved her family and was so giving and kind just fuckin. made me so upset because i didnt seem to get any of that side of her for so long and it sorta hit that im never gonna get an apology for any of the shit she did, or more accurately, didnt do for me. once i started showing signs that hey, mental illness runs in the family, she stopped being there for me and everything she did was more for herself because neither of my parents could stand having a fucked up kid without taking the blame for it and actually doing something to help me when i needed it most. theyre the ones thst showed me i couldnt trust either of them with any of my mental health bc they'd just dismiss it. even before i got kicked out i was still the punching bag for my family, i was the kid who wanted to get away from people that hurt me and they didnt wanna admit to hurting me. i was told to my face last summer that "i cant have trauma because i dont remember all of it and im just playing the victim card" after getting screamed at by my aunt for "manipulating my boyfriend by using my mental health as a bargining chip to get what i want" (newflash: i was having a severe panic attack after being home after a psychward stay and then living with my aunt for two weeks). shes also the person who called me during my third psychward stay to let me know that asking for someone to drop off basic hygiene products because that whole stay was just over a month long and i was running low was very manipulative and that since i was being so manipulative doing so she was gonna use this time of need to manipulate me back.

also the same person who said that there was no way i could have bpd bc "she has it and i didnt have the same childhood as her and she had it so much worse" (i got diagnosed with it a few weeks into my residential stay)

shes a bitch with a saviour complex who cant admit when shes wrong and my mom was a guilt trippy disaster and im glad they're finally out of my life. along with most all of my moms side of the family.

since getting kicked out and moving in with my boyfriend and his family (genuinely kind and amazing people) ive finally been able to calm down and start the fucking long ass process of healing from everything and its really kicking my ass recently.

i could go on and on about glee bc there are 12 billion things to say (and the show is super long). but i think my most controversial opinions are:

i dont ship finchel or klaine. at all.

i can explain. i have a love/hate (but mostly hate) relationship with rachel as a character. sometimes i feel bad for her bc its clear shes struggling and insecure and shes a flawed female character which we need to appreciate. BUT she is just so unbearably annoying, selfish, and awful to everyone around her, and season 5 was the point where i finally made a decision. i dont like her. similarly, i hate finn bc he is overglorified by the other characters on the show, without any actions supporting it. they all say that finn is their leader, that hes the nicest guy ever, and praise him like a hero when in reality, he calls people slurs, outs them in the hallway, cheats on his girlfriends, and just overall acts like a douche towards anyone he doesnt immediately understand or relate to or wanna fuck. they all SAY hes amazing, but his actions just do not support that at all, and thats bad writing imo. i think because those characters are awful, their relationship is a colossal mess, and i think if i had to choose a definitive least favorite point for them, it would be when finn beat brody up for dating rachel. like what did the show want us to appreciate about that??? thats not romantic at all!!! thats disgusting and a sign that finn needs help. physically threatening people who date your exes? who does that??? and we’re supposed to think its cute bc he says “my future wife.” mhm. sure.

i hate klaine bc while i love kurt, i think blaine is awful to him. blaine relies heavily on having a sense of power over kurt, and this is even openly explored in one of the later episodes, but not resolved well imo. from the moment they met and got together, blaine was using his power and standing as head of the warblers to subtly make kurt feel lesser. he liked feeling like he held some sort of power in the relationship. then, when he goes to new york and gains weight and thinks of himself as less attractive, he gets angry and jealous of kurt bc he wants to be the “hot” one in the relationship, and always considered himself as such. if you are comparing yourself to your partner in that way, please break up with them and learn how to feel complete by yourself. blaines insecurities repeatedly fucked up their relationship, and i never have and never will ship them. the fact that they last minute decided to get married, ignoring their glaring issues with living together and teamwork in general, due to social pressure to crash brittanas wedding was absolutely ridiculous and a bullshit wrap up to their story.

okay so i know everyone is having fun rn joking about how “zukka nation has risen” but i honestly dont see it and never will. i dont get where the fandom has just decided this year to prioritize a ship that gets no real exposure, no buildup, and basically a two episode arc in terms of trust and teamwork. i recently saw a post talking about how theres not much fan content for mai/ty lee, who have an actual solid friendship (and ty lee literally risked her life to save mai), but theres tons of fans pushing zukka and acting like its THE ship we should all be shipping, showing the general bias fandoms have for mlm over wlw. something to think about. ive been zutara trash since i was 11 years old, so needless to say, i would pick them over zukka any day.

piggybacking off of the weird superiority complex people have for shipping zukka, i have always been annoyed by sokka stans in general? just to be clear, i love sokka, and i dont think there is anything wrong with loving him! but i HATE how people who consider sokka their favorite character act like theyre special for that? people are always crying that hes “underappreciated” and that hes so much smarter and more capable than anyone else. and i personally have not seen a single person criticize sokka, when ive seen at least small bits of hate thrown at each character. my point here is, loving sokka is a super popular opinion to have, and literally everyone loves sokka! so when people act like theyre the only one who truly appreciates sokka it really bugs me bc like. it truly doesnt make you special. everyone has a different favorite atla character but i pretty much only see sokka stans with this odd superiority complex, acting like theyre so rare for loving a super loveable character.

idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but the show would be unwatchable without klaus. hes pretty much everyones favorite character, we all see ourselves in him and we root for him and we laugh at him, and while i agree with the sentiment that he gets a disproportionate amount of attention for how ultimately irrelevant he is to the plot, i literally would not care about tua at all without him.

on the flipside of that, i want to love allison so badly, but she gets no time or attention or development at all. her main traits are inc*st and missing her child. she gets nothing beyond that, and we dont know as much about her as the rest of the siblings. it hurts my heart to see the only woman of color in the family being treated so obviously like a side character in an ensemble cast. im really hoping we see more of her in s2.

Okay! Gemini sun babies with Scorpio Ascendant!! 

Driven, hard-working, intense – physicality that’s known in Scorpio is prevalent, but on the DSC (Taurus) also talks about comforting side, homey, reassuring and nurturing that they also balance/align themselves with (planets in 7th). 

The Sun/Mars/Mercury are all in Gemini (7th) all in opposition to Saturn rx in 1st – there’s a balance of maturity, trust/foundation building at the fore-front of the mind. Whilst travelling definitely inspires their muse (Cancer Venus trine Pisces Neptune) there’s also intense awareness that unexpected things can happen and turbulence and appear at any time (square Capricorn Pluto/authority figures like the embassy and how Jun/Minghao couldn’t come on tour sometimes – also square Aries Uranus in 5th, performance having to adapt/erratic nature due to lack of control/wanting to do something but not being able to)

– there’s imbalance in certain external circumstances that takes ‘control’ out of their hands and can leave impressions on them (Cancer) but at the same time– they ARE a communicative and ‘what can we do about this now that we’re aware of it’ group and talk/communicate alot amongst themselves as well. So it’s kinda like a Crab?? who ducks out of it’s shell to scurry around/have fun and then it sees an incoming human and ducks back in/hides quickly in order to deal with things sometimes as well.

Phew, next is Virgo Moon square to the Sun/Mars/Mercury. Virgo Moon here is in the 10th– people know them for their detail-oriented, humbling, organized and stream-line persona. 6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?

3 - 3s friend group wasnt exactly the best and she was fairly withdrawn, but still too much of a pushover to actually find new friends. she stuck around 4 a lot (who wasnt really in that group) to the annoyance of some of 4s friends. thats mainly why 3 and dana hate each other, even if its sort of petty. 3s also a college dropout, she couldnt keep up with it while juggling nss stuff. her fav subjects were art and math, surprisingly, and she hated language arts and pretty much all sciences.

4 - she wasnt exactly well-liked by any means, but she had a nice friend group at the very least. shes much happier to be out of school since she quite frankly thought it sucked. she didnt do any further schooling after high school. if theater counts as a subject, that would be her absolute favourite. if not, then language arts and even then, only the units that cover shakespeare. least fav is probably gym, but that was more because of dysphoria than anything else

8 - 8 didnt really receive proper schooling, buuuuuuuuuut to go along w the question, if she went to school like the ones surface-dwellers attend, she would enjoy it. shes curious about the world and all and a place to receive free knowledge just seems really cool to her. fav subject is history, with no real least fav.

dana - shes a theater kid what else is new. she liked it but she likes not being in school a whole lot more. shes currently juggling online college classes with prof turfing. fav subject is theater again, but if not then art. least fav is math bc its boring

lucas - (lets just go with 8 rules for this again) hes 17, so he would still be in school if he attended. hes a bit standoffish and would prob be more of a loner, that or the guy who befriends all the goths/stoners (though he wouldnt smoke). hed be indifferent to most subjects, though i dont see him liking gym much. not for the same reasons as 4 (although he is trans, but there wasnt any opportunity in his introduction for me to just... say it) i think hed just think it was a waste of time if anything.

15. Are they good at cooking? Do they enjoy it? What do others think of their cooking?

3 - compared to my other agents, she is a god. compared to normal people, her food is crummy but tolerably so. not good, not terrible... just incredibly bland.

4 - 4 likes cooking. cooking does not like 4. her food is edible and technically prepared correctly, but something about it is just... off. in a bad way. 4 doesnt like her own cooking and neither does anyone else

8 - 8 thinks food is cool but also has the attention span of a flea when it comes to these things. shes still trying to learn, and shes made some progress, but theres still a 75% chance that her food comes out burnt. (and, if youre wondering, pearl is so very proud)

dana - she has the ability to cook, kind of, but she prefers take-out. its faster and the chance of it burning your house down is smaller, after all. her food isnt bland like 3s, she just oversalts it. a lot. youre better off just chugging saltwater at this rate

lucas - he likes cooking, its soothing. out of everyone here, hes the best at it. its sort of a hobby of his. he doesnt eat a whole lot though. the apartment complex he lives at is pretty run-down and nowhere near the best part of town, but its cheap and its fairly populated with octolings, so he tends to share with them. (and his roommate as well) they appreciate him a lot.

3 - she doesnt really collect anything. i mean, she has a lot of fancy pens, but its not like she went out and got them all to add to a collection.

4 - commissioned art of her fursona uhhh idk? i mean, she has a lot of clothes, but thats not really a collection.. actually, can you collect succulents? she has a whole shelf of succulents that she can miraculously keep alive somehow. theyre all named.

8 - she basically hoards pins. like the ones you can get on etsy or at hot topic, those. theyre quirky and fun!! currently she has them all shoved in a box beneath her bed. 

dana - keychains and stuff you can hang off them. its pretty much a weapon at this rate. watch out lest you invoke the wrath of the fresh fish keychain.

lucas - he doesnt really have a lot. mainly because of money and a generally ascetic lifestyle

i dont know anything about astrologism beyond my experiences w other people and my own signs but here goes

aquarius- my best friend in the entire world is an aquarius and she’s amazing and perfect and hilarious. literally the funniest person i know. the detachment is real for sure (peep my aqua venus lmao) but at the end of the day aquas are so lovable idc what anyone says

pisces- me. im amazing and really good. i know like 2 other pisces who are great but also kind of annoying sometimes and the rest are whiny and never shut up. constant need for attention is real, victim complex is real. so is the clairvoyance tho

aries- my ex was an aries and let me just tell u. the anger is real, and it’s always over the pettiest bullshit. i feel like aries usually need to get over themselves. they can be funny tho

taurus- so unremarkable it hurts. i met a taurus recently & i remember really loving them in the moment but now i have not a single clue who it was. there was a taurus at my school who was tangentially in my friend group & i forgot she existed like no more than a week after school ended.

gemini- my dad is a gemini and so was one of my close friends. overall i think they’re pretty cool, receive far too much hate. there’s a lot of wisdom there

cancer- one of my close friends is a cancer and she’s a mess (i love u tho) …. cancer emotions are just all over the place & i know thats a stereotype but it’s true. of all the water signs i think cancer is the most emotional. they’re so so nice and willing to forgive but also usually willing to cut someone off if they need to, only temporarily tho

leo- there are so many leos in my life idk if it’s a blessing or a curse. my brother is a leo and so are some of my friends. in general leos are kinda gay and super funny. like i hate to admit it but leos are consistently the funniest fucking people on earth. they do love attention tho and for that… i resent them

virgo- pretty unremarkable as well. sorry. im not a big fan of earth signs in general & thats that on that. virgos are usually pretty sweet tho, but i feel like they can be snaky, or at least judgmental…they always seem to be holding onto their opinions of u & everyone else. like speak up….but they won’t cuz they’re too nice

libra- wants to be cool so bad. sorry but this is the least cool air sign. super unreliable unless they love u. theyre super loyal but only to a select few & how those few are selected remains a mystery to the rest of us.

scorpio- god i absolutely do not fuck w scorpios. i know ONE (1) scorpio whom i love, and even shes pretty manipulative (but always coming from a good place so i let it slide). shes super kind, wise, and thoughtful. but every other scorpio i’ve met is the actual worst. scorpios are manipulative in a super transparent way, so it’s just kind of embarrassing to everyone who sees through it. & to anyone who doesn’t see through it….. that’s embarrassing too.

sagittarius- they’re super fun to be around and pretty generous. just wants everyone to have a good time. they’re pretty chill although sometimes can be a little clingy or obsessive, or they can be totally distant and detached, so just tread lightly bc they’re kind of hard to predict most of the time

capricorn- probably my fave earth sign, but still. detached, terrible at keeping up relationships. they’re really good at making u feel special but it’s probably fake, either that or they suck at holding onto people who they perceive as special to them. probably both actually. they’re super fun tho just watch out
